The Invasion Decides - Recap & Result

The Invasion have been an opposing party since emerging under ShawnMichaels, late last year. In 2016, the importance of their influence has been growing steadily. The party underwent a leadership change in July, beginning with more moderate policies towards The Invasion's position within The Great Arena. As the months wore on, they became more emboldened, pursuing opposing parties more aggressively, and ultimately setting their sights on the Undisputed Championship.

The Great Genku brought considerable hope with him in July as he emerged as The Invasion's great white hope under DaemonX. "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet soon emerged as a second viable choice for the championship race, backed by Violent`J.

LordSkarlet launched his campaign with close ties to Violent`J at the end of September. The pair appeared together at Pre-Show 84:A Lovely Tea Party, publicly opposing Ratt & NightHawk and further cementing their association by protecting the Duo Division Championship. Genku was slow to respond, favouring safe, basic attacks on broad enemy The Alliance, before tackling LordSkarlet head-on on October 3rd. The clash provided Genku with his first important victory and kick the championship race into a higher gear.

LordSkarlet looked shaky heading in to Supercard 84, losing face in a brutal annihilation at the hands of Ratt. He was able to turn it around in spectacular ways, however, earning a career defining victory inside the Steel Cage at Pre-Show 85 - a result that completely removed Ratt from the equation! At that same time, Genku became distracted with personal issues with Damo. Some saw this as a petty distraction, while his attacks on The Alliance were too safe. Through DaemonX, he made the master stroke of shifting his attentions to The British Exit. He crossed borders to go after DemoniaX on October 14th. It was a bold move that paid off and drew turncoat Banging onto Genku's home turf, where he scored another important victory on October 17th!

The Steel Cage win against Ratt was a tent pole victory for LordSkarlet, but it also cost him most of October. While Genku attended Devil's Night, LordSkarlet's absence in The Great Arena allowed the seeds of a narrative of inexperience to take hold. He had an ace in the hole, though. Neither fighter attended the Halloween Battle Royal, but LordSkarlet saw King Ken as a potential recruit who could bring veteran experience to his campaign. The offer backfired in the best way possible. On November 7th, LordSkarlet eliminated a stated threat to The Invasion by removing Ken from the scene! Once again LordSkarlet was a hero, and a slayer of giants! A potential game changer!

Things continued to go LordSkarlet's way in November. Genku again found himself distracted by personal rivalries at Pre-Show 86. On November 14th he suffered an even bigger setback when DemoniaX showed up to score an upset victory! Genku's campaign was now all-in on The British Exit, but it was blowing up in his face. Public opinion was now firmly behind LordSkarlet.

Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion was a defining moment not just for the candidates, but for the entire Invasion party. Their resources were spread thin as they were forced to fight a war of multiple fronts. This trial by fire made friends all the more important to LordSkarlet and Genku.

DaemonX was in the trenches with Genku, leading their team against The British Exit. It came as no surprise they were able to defeat the British relatively easily. On the other hand, with Violent`J busy keeping the Duo Division Championship within The Invasion's hold, LordSkarlet took a leadership role against the forces of The Alliance. His team was outclassed and very nearly defeated, were it not for the grit and determination of LordSkarlet himself. He snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. It was another example of LordSkarlet as Invasion hero, overcoming overwhelming odds. Genku was a winner, but some felt the hard work was done before he took the glory. LordSkarlet was still ahead, but the gap between candidates was significantly closed as they shared success.

They were difficult to separate on November 21st as they both beat their opposing team captains from the night before. On November 23rd, the final week of the championship race was announced. Neck and neck, their next steps would prove pivotal to the election.

They were together on November 25th, participating in a joint assault on Friday Night Fights. The tactic that had given Genku an edge early was now shared between them as The Invasion performed a precision strike on The British Exit. While LordSkarlet was kept to these events only, Genku got more aggressive with his campaign, making an effort to have a greater presence in the arena between battles. He risked being seen as antagonist, controversially mixing "alternative facts" that snubbed former Undisputed Champion Violent`J with his claims of proven championship experience. With everything to play for, he pulled his trump card -- a final one-on-one battle between he and LordSkarlet. On November 28th, just two days ahead of the election, he scored a decisive victory.

Closing arguments were difficult to separate. Genku leant hard on LordSkarlet's inexperience, and pushed the title bout experience that brought him to The Invasion in the first place. LordSkarlet talked up his own achievements in a short amount of time, instead of attacking Genku's failures. Both sold the dream of the Undisputed Championship. Genku said he could make The Invasion Great.

Including the two candidates themselves, twenty-seven members of The Invasion gathered to vote. DaemonX publicly supported The Great Genku, while Violent`J carried his Duo Division title into the voting booth for LordSkarlet. All twenty-seven votes were tallied, and the verdict determined. It was incredibly close race - a verdict decided by just one vote!

With 51.85% (or 14-13 votes in favour): The Great Genku is the Contender Elect!

Contender Elect Genku now looks ahead to January 29th, 2017, when he will have the opportunity to complete his path to the Undisputed Championship at Supercard 88: Battle Royale!

The Invasion Decides - Closing Arguments

Since their emergence in the latter parts of 2015, The Invasion have been synonymous with an ideal of opposition. In 2016, they broke new ground as a party, establishing the weekly Monday Night Invasion program. Over the course of the year, they have become an increasing part of The Great Arena and its most important moments. With this growth has come greater ambition, and as The Invasion looks to the future, they see the reign of an Undisputed Champion who will make The Arena Great again! The only question in November -- who will be The Invasion's Contender Elect?

The Great Genku
The very foundation of Genku's recruitment into The Invasion was built upon the ideal that the Undisputed Championship could be theirs. It was a partnership forged to repel a mutual enemy, and achieve a mutual goal. Thus, Genku's veteran status has already been an incredible boon. The depth of his experience goes all the way back to the earliest days of The Great Arena, far beyond the debut of his election rival. His aggressive pursuit of glory has also made him a more powerful fighter than his rival. This is evidenced in his many victories since joining The Invasion, and his two one-on-one wins against LordSkarlet on October 3 and November 28!

In Closing: Without Genku, the dream of contention may never have been possible. With Genku, the Undisputed Championship can be theirs and The Invasion can be made Great!

"American Nightmare" LordSkarlet
Inexperience has been the biggest criticism of LordSkarlet. Both his time in The Great Arena and his time with The Invasion have been far shorter than that of his election rival. Yet, in this time, he has amassed a catalogue of accolades, including the Duo Division Championship, and seven reigns as KFL Champion - two this year! In 2016, he was Runner-Up in Battle Royale and the UGP Battle Royal! Most recently he averted threats from King Ken on November 7, and legendary Hall of Famer Ratt on October 16 and October 2. In his short time he has already protected and helped The Invasion to prosper. Traits of commitment his election rival lacks. Indeed, Genku's two match victories against LordSkarlet highlight the ease with which he turns against The Invasion!

In Closing: LordSkarlet fought to rebuild himself after a great fall, but he's never been given a shot at the Undisputed Championship. For The Invasion to achieve this dream, first they must embrace an American Nightmare.

There are currently twenty-five fighters who are part of The Invasion, not including the two election candidates. Their votes will decide the fate not just of The Invasion, but also the entire league! This is a result everyone will want to see!

The Invasion decides who their Contender Elect will be - Tomorrow, November 30th! Be here!

Monday Night Invasion (November 28, 2016)

In response to the surgical strike of last week's Friday Night Fights; The British Exit were a reduced force attempting a retaliatory attack during Monday Night Invasion. With Ironize on the injured list, and AcidicWonder not far behind, they were no match for The Invasion, who stonewalled them in their attempts to interfere with the night's main event!

The Invasion have their sights set on the Undisputed Championship, and on November 30th they will elect their challenger from either "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet or The Great Genku. With that lofty goal in mind, a final face-off was arranged by Genku, intent on proving his superiority over the unproven option in LordSkarlet. All part of Genku's active campaign to be The Invasion's choice.

The American Nightmare has had the support of Duo Division Champion Violent`J, emerging as a slight favourite with his recent exploits including a Steel Cage victory that took Ratt off the board for the time being! Feats like that have shown LordSkarlet has what it takes to reach the next level, but experience has been a concern for DaemonX, who supports Genku. Indeed, the experience gap was evident as Genku earned a convincing win over his rival. A result he was all too happy to celebrate.

Unfortunately for DaemonX, his sway isn't as strong as it might've been had his challenge for the KFL Championship come through. He alluded to his plans last week, but The Alliance's champion would not be dealt with easily. Statix clearly struggled with The Invasion leader, fighting below his best on a night of mixed results for The Alliance. AlbertBeefcake, The_Hurricane and Rockey316 scored wins for The Alliance, but PaganFreak and UlcaTron were beaten. UlcaTron was ambushed in a 2-on-1 fight with The Fallen, but showed tremendous resilience to resist serious impact. Statix did the same, relying on pure willpower to keep the gold out of the clutches of The Invasion!

The KFL Championship isn't the only title The Invasion hopes to have in their clutches! Be here Wednesday to find out who they will elect to pursue the ultimate prize - The Undisputed Title!

Weekly Rankings Recap - 11/27/2016

The Invasion may be preparing to select a challenger for the Undisputed Championship, but they'll clearly have to wait their turn: VenoMark and Mimik will take the final shot of 2016 in what should be an intriguing three-way title match! With Hokey still being a little mysterious about the supposed timing of his challenge against United teammate Mimik, one really wonders if VenoMark might be walking in to a handicap situation.

Invasion hopefuls Genku and LordSkarlet were working together as part of a tactical strike force this week, making The British Exit's Ironize the latest name to join a long casualty list. It was Genku who knocked the Brexiteers down to four core members - something that might bode well for his aggressive campaign for the title chase. Not that LordSkarlet hasn't claimed a few scalps in his time, including cutting off King Ken before he could become a problem, and sending little known All-Time great and Hall of Famer Ratt to the sidelines!

There's also the small matter of DaemonX setting up a KFL Championship match later today! The Invasion survived being divided at Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion. Now it looks like they're ready to do some recreational conquering from here. Watch out!

Supercard 87 Championship Main Event Announced

Ever since Mimik was given an opportunity to challenge for the Undisputed Championship -- VenoMark has been in a bad mood! It was maddening enough that the rival he dominated in the early parts of 2016 eliminated him from the Night of Champions Battle Royal -- inconceivable that he actually turned that into a title victory at Supercard 84: Return to the Dark Carnival!

Before VenoMark could mount a challenge for Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion; Mimik's United teammate Hokey shocked everyone by spinning the wheel on his Royal Roulette opportunity to win the Undisputed Championship for himself!

VenoMark got The_Purple_Bunny out of his way with a brutal win at Supercard 86, and now he'll get his chance to even two scores when he faces both Mimik and Hokey in a three-way main event for the Undisputed Championship at Supercard 87!

Hokey will be at a seeming disadvantage, having to eliminate two opponents to retain the title, but the exact nature of his original challenge to Mimik remains unclear. Hokey cryptically promises answers will become apparent soon -- but what if it was all a plan to guarantee the title stays with The United? What if the supposed breakdown between Mimik and Hokey was just an elaborate ruse? What if VenoMark is actually walking in to a 2-on-1 ambush at Supercard 87?

It's shaping up to be a big finish to a massive year of competition in The Great Arena! Stay tuned for more announcements as we count down to the final Supercard of 2016!

Supercard 87 (December 18th):
- VenoMark versus United: Mimik versus United: Hokey (c) [Undisputed Championship]

Double Main Event This Monday

The Invasion are stepping up their efforts to take a controlling stake of The Great Arena, targeting championship gold as part of the process. After losing control of the Division 2 Championship at Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion, they're drawing new title plans that start Monday!

Invasion leader DaemonX will initiate the first stage when he personally challenges Statix to defend the KFL Championship this Monday! The Alliance fighter has consistently kept the legacy title out of The Invasion's grips, but he'll be in hostile territory when he clashes with the dangerous Daemon!

In the Monday Night Invasion main event, the strike force that took down The British Exit during yesterday's Friday Night Fights will turn against one another!

Invasion leaders are scheduled to determine their preferred challenger for the Undisputed Champions next Wednesday, but before they do, The Great Genku will get aggressive with his campaign when he challenges rival "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet! This could be the final chance they have to sway The Invasion as they chase the ultimate prize!

Two blockbuster main events to kick-off next week, Monday - November 28th! Be here!

Friday Night Fights (November 25, 2016)

Friday Night Fights was under attack this week as The Invasion came to fight The British Exit!

The Invasion have left the seclusion of Monday Nights before, most recently when DaemonX led an attack on a Friday just last month. Never has there incursions been fought with the brutality that was seen on the final Friday in November!

Jason_Voorhees was the first to strike, finding Brexit recruit DemoniaX vulnerable to a skirmish that ended with a hard hitting +6 impact! Liam & nif held their own against Rhyno & Grayback, before "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile intervened to tie up Chromatose. These would merely be distractions to otherwise occupy the present fighters who might interfere. The Invasion were making a precision strike, sending their most dangerous forces to crush the weakest targets!

Loopster tangled with Team Brexit's leader ShawnMichaels, increasing a losing streak that began with his team's defeat at Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion, and blew up in his face when he led a renewed push this past Monday. ShawnMichaels was able to limp away from the fight, but he was helpless to prevent the two-prong attack on the duo once known as Catch 22!

Competing would-be contenders LordSkarlet and The Great Genku moved in to perform the surgical strike. First the "American Nightmare" pushed AcidicWonder to the very brink of his abilities, executing a complete demolition that left him dangling by a thread. Then Genku made his move to impress Invasion leaders with an annihilating +23 impact on Ironize! The blow was critical, dismantling Ironize sufficiently to send him immediately to the Incapacitated List!

As quickly as they came - they were gone. With The Invasion out of the way, The United stepped in to take advantage of "The Predator" TonyTheTiger alone. Mime returned at Supercard 86 and had the pleasure of reversing the 2-on-1 ambush TTT cooked up for him at All-Star Summer Showdown! Where was CaTigeReptile during all of this? It seems The Guardian has identified a threat even more troubling than the numbers game played by The Invasion!

Will this tear apart the unlikely team-up of The Guardian and The Predator? One thing's for sure - neither has Poasty to fall back on! Their loss at Supercard 86 had a devastating effect on the third man in this Anti-United alliance! How can he possibly return to a Great Arena under threat from the forces of The Invasion? Questions that lingered at the end of a shocking Friday Night Fights!

Friday Night Fights (November 25, 2016):
10. "The United" Mime & Artanix d. "The Predator" TonyTheTiger [+9]
9. The Great Genku d. Ironize [+23] [-1up]
8. "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet d. AcidicWonder [+10]
7. Loopster d. ShawnMichaels [+3]
6. "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile d. Chromatose [+1]
5. "The British Exit" Liam & nif d. "The Invasion" Rhyno & Grayback [+1]
4. Jason_Voorhees d. DemoniaX [+6]
3. MKMaster d. Torchia [+4]
2. "The Greek Crisis" maxilos & proXade d. Sgtf & BilboFett [+1]

Genku Campaigns For Invasion Title Chase

The Invasion want to expand into the race for the Undisputed Championship, but to do so, they have to elect a viable contender. Invasion figureheads have divided preference between two major recruits: "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet and The Great Genku. On November 30th, the powerful faction will officially make their decision -- and one is campaigning hard to be the choice!

Genku is leaning heavily on his proven credibility as a two-time Undisputed Champion, questioning LordSkarlet's ability to contend with the league's top fighters. He points to his own win over LS during the October 3rd edition of Monday Night Invasion, as well as the Supercard 84 annihilation LordSkarlet suffered at the hands of Hall of Fame legend Ratt. Not that Genku was quite so complimentary...

The petitioning Invasion fighter went so far as to call Ratt a "has-been" who LordSkarlet ultimately defeated only with the aid of the dreaded Steel Cage.

Indeed, LordSkarlet stunned everyone when he took Ratt off the board with an unexpected win at Pre-Show 85: Rage in the Cage! The scintillating victory came after he'd already forced Ratt & NightHawk to withdraw their challenge for the Duo Division Championship. In the eyes of Invasion figurehead Violent`J, and many others, this was a compelling argument for LordSkarlet as contender.

Genku claims he doesn't care who's calling the shots at the top of The Invasion. He's with them, but won't be told what to do by any one. He simply thinks it's a choice between success and failure at the top level, claiming it's a fact that no one within The Invasion's ranks can do what he can - win the Undisputed Championship.

Critics may view Genku's account of things as a case of "alternative facts". Indeed, Violent`J himself is a former Undisputed Champion - proving there is at least one other fighter capable of winning the title. Will that be enough to sway opinion against Genku?

The Invasion decides their championship candidate next week - November 30th! Be here next Wednesday to find out who The Invasion will back, and review each fighter's Invasion record here.

Genku/LordSkarlet - The Invasion Decides

Though their efforts as a force have become increasingly united in recent months, there remains one dichotomy that divides opinion within The Invasion: Who should be their chosen challenger for the coveted Undisputed Championship? This time next week - The Invasion will elect their contender!

The fighter who first opened the door to the Undisputed Championship for The Invasion was The Great Genku. He covertly joined their ranks in late July, already the #1 contender signed to fight at All-Star Summer Showdown! With the Summer Olympic Games arriving, The Invasion agreed to keep Genku's Royal Roulette wielding rival Hokey at bay - as long as he would bring the prestigious Undisputed title into their ranks. He didn't win, but remained DaemonX's choice to achieve the feat.

In September, a new prospect came onto the scene when Violent`J recruited former KFL Champion LordSkarlet and The Fallen into their ranks. The so-called "American Nightmare" has never fought for the Undisputed Championship, but Violent`J's choice was built on the belief in talent potential. LordSkarlet was runner-up in January's Battle Royale match, and spent much of the year building himself up after a post-UGP fall, adding two more reigns as KFL Champion to his record, in the process.

They are two very different fighters, with two very different records! Genku - the aggressive, self-serving, 2-time Undisputed Champion who's been with The Invasion much longer. LordSkarlet - the tactical, team playing, unproven challenger who's come close before, and is just waiting for a shot!

Both have their pros and cons. On November 30th - The Invasion will choose their next champion!

Will it be DaemonX's proven quantity Genku, or Violent`J's eager upstart LordSkarlet? Revisit The Invasion careers of both fighters and be here next week for the announcement!

Breaking: Poasty Traumatic Stress Disorder

The events of September 16 still ring out in infamy, but none has been more affected than the man they call Poasty. The barrage of attacks inflicted by Shoe were a harsh reminder of the career threatening injury Poasty had just returned from less than a month earlier.

This brush with mortality plagued Poasty as he attempted to live out a storybook comeback during the Division 2 Championship tournament in October. His plan was spoiled by Murdoink, who soon revealed he had returned to the ranks of Shoe's team: The United!

Despite the shock of the conspiracy he'd revealed, Poasty mastered his nemesis, recording further grudge wins on October 28 and November 4. Then something unexpected happened. Murdoink promised Poasty a surprise, coming in the form of a returning Mime who annihilated Poasty with MAX Damage on the November 11th edition of Friday Night Fights!

As they had before, TonyTheTiger & CaTigeReptile came to Poasty's aid, helping him fight back against their mutual nemesis this past weekend, at Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion. Alas; things didn't go according to plan in the battle of trios, and The United emerged victorious.

For Poasty; experiencing defeat at the hands of Shoe, Artanix & Mime, so soon after suffering MAX Damage, has brought the harrowing ordeal back to the fore!

Poasty has experienced more in the last four months than some fighters will see in their entire career, but it seems his greatest foe will now be the demons he's struggling with inside himself! Though the physical trauma of his recent defeats may heal with time, the scars are much more than skin deep.

We may not see Poasty in The Great Arena for a while. Let us hope it isn't forever!

Monday Night Invasion (November 21, 2016)

The Invasion may have walked away from Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion with team wins over The British Exit and The Alliance, but if they thought that was going to end the war -- they were sorely mistaken! It seemed as if the weekend had only created a renewed sense of urgency, with fighters from both forces flooding into Monday Night Invasion for another round!

The chaotic scenes prompted an emergency meeting between Invasion figureheads DaemonX and Violent`J during the event. Away from prying eyes, each agreed it was time to escalate their effort to end the conflict once and for all. They agreed on the need for a "precision strike", but on the subject of who can solve their championship deficit, the pair remained opposed. DaemonX said next week he'll deal with the KFL Championship, and they would watch LordSkarlet and Genku closely during that time so The Invasion could elect an Undisputed Championship challenger.

The Invasion's two top title prospects featured heavily in the night's end. ShawnMichaels faced down Genku without the drain of eliminating two Invasion fighters, as he had on Sunday. The one-on-one conditions did him no good, though. Genku had the British Exit leader's number, utterly destroying him with a bone rattling +13 impact!

In the final fight, "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet also found himself face-to-face with the team captain he beat at Supercard 86. In that match, it was LordSkarlet who was forced to run the gauntlet - snatching victory from the jaws of defeat with an incredible three elimination streak! Alliance leader AlbertBeefcake had come close to securing his team the win, and he wasn't too far off the pace in the Monday Night main event, either. Just as he did in the Survival Sequence, LordSkarlet held on to eke out another good win for his team.

What will this mean for The Invasion? The battle lines have been drawn! It seems the war is heating up as 2016 nears an end! Stay tuned as things heat up in the race to December!

Monday Night Invasion: Week 37 (November 21, 2016):
7. "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet d. AlbertBeefcake [+1]
6. The Great Genku d. ShawnMichaels [+13]
5. "The Alliance" Rockey316 & UlcaTron d. "The Fallen" Corrupt hydraslash & Corrupt MINION [+1]
4. SubScorpTile d. Sekktor [+1]
3. Jason_Voorhees, Shen_DuHBK & edge d. "The British Exit" Ironize, AcidicWonder & nif [+2]

Weekly Rankings Recap - 11/20/2016

The United have had a good week, coming away from Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion with two championships, and strong prospects in the Duo Division!

Of course, the deck was fairly stacked: Hokey using his Royal Roulette entitlement to challenge Mimik to an all-United Undisputed Championship main event! You could almost wonder if that was the plan all along, if not for Hokey making cryptic references to timing. His year has come full circle with the convincing win, making him champion for the fourth time!

United: Murdoink was a more surprising winner of the Division 2 Championship, earning his way into the match with key wins at Pre-Show 86, and this week's Friday Night Fights! He did it the hard way with the elimination of rival SubScorpTile before he took out Sekktor!

Shoe & Artanix are looking like strong Duo Division Championship contenders are their Trios win with Mime! They haven't contested the titles since May's Supercard 79. After the swift dismissal of Unknown265 & mwgrant0, it could be very interesting to see how Marz & Violent`J cope with a challenger of the caliber of The United!

It was a mixed bag for The Invasion, who were spread thin across Sunday's card. SubScorpTile's Div.2 title loss was a disappointment, but their investments in fighters like LordSkarlet and Genku clearly paid off in the two big Survival Sequence matches! They still have a firm grip on the Duo Division Championship thanks to Violent`J, but it'll be interesting to see how they regroup, and what effect Sunday has on their plans for the Undisputed Championship!

The Invasion could have some pretty noteworthy competition at the top of the card! Big winners with title prospects included: Kron, VenoMark, ElJobber and DECEPTION!

Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion

Hard work is the virtue to which success is so often attributed. Yet, success is not attained by a single difficult act, rather the sustained commitment to unerring hard work. This ability to strive in the face of adversity is ultimately much more than the path to the pinnacle of any one field. In practice it will transcend even the mightiest of Championships, becoming unto the very instinct of survival!

Now more than ever the fighters of The Great Arena must have the will to endure! As their very way of life comes under attack, the survivor sequence is engaged by an invading force that seeks to change everything! Generations will evolve. Alliances will be challenged. Exits will be blocked. Unity unraveled... This is Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion!

14. United: Hokey defeated United: Mimik (c) in a comprehensive victory! [+3] [Undisputed Championship]
Tensions were evident when Hokey and Mimik made it to the final three of the Night of Champions Battle Royal. The United attempted a rebuke of claims, showing unity when Hokey & Mimik teamed successfully on the September 30 edition of Friday Night Fights. When Mimik won the Undisputed Championship at Supercard 84, there were clear signs of reticence. By the middle of November, it was clear the charade could not last: Hokey cashed in the any where, any when Royal Roulette title opportunity Mimik had helped him win!

The past weighed heavily on this match, recalling a cold November in 2011, when Hokey ended Mimik's first title reign at Supercard 16: War Games. Back then they were keen rivals in a hotly contested first year. Now they were supposed to be teammates! Was that the reason for what appeared to be a sign of mercy in the match? Mimik has been plagued with inconsistency throughout his distinguished Hall of Fame career, and he looked extremely uneven against Hoky. The challenger fought with reserved enthusiasm, doing what needed to be done - but nothing more. A +3 rated impact at the end could've been so much worse. Instead, Hokey was dignified in victory. With The United choosing to remain absent from the post-match, Hokey thanked his opponent, and everyone in attendance. As was noted when the match was announced, he said very soon the reasons for his decisions will be revealed. For now, he would enjoy his Undisputed Championship win like it was the first time. An amazing conclusion to an extremely unique and intriguing title bout!

13. Kron defeated "The Chosen One" Damo in a comprehensive victory! [+8]
It hardly takes a field of former champions to recognize the danger posed by veteran legend Kron! Yet, it was a field of nine who seized upon him simultaneously at the start of the Night of Champions V Battle Royal! "The Chosen One" Damo was one of the nine, but he was also the opportunistic individual who saw to the official elimination of Kron. Something the Hall of Famer wasn't about to let go unanswered! Damo was still smarting after MAX Damage payback from Genku at Supercard 84: Return to the Dark Carnival, and as the legend stalked his prey around The Great Arena, it was clear to see Damo was no match! When Kron got his hands on the self-proclaimed "Chosen One", the match was a one-sided domination! A triumph for one of the league's original legends!

12. VenoMark defeated The_Purple_Bunny in a dominant decimation! [+1/-8] [Steel Cage Fight]
Few fighters have been quite as incensed by Mimik's Undisputed Championship win as VenoMark. Having dominated the Hall of Famer throughout the earlier part of the year, he was disgusted to see Mimik get the better of him at Night of Champions V, turning that into gold! The_Purple_Bunny has sought the title, too, trading wins with VenoMark at Supercard 84, Pre-Show 85, and Friday Night Fights. Intent on proving contender supremacy, VenoMark invited The_Purple_Bunny into the cold metallic confines of the Steel Cage! A risky strategy. The cage is known to be an environment of indiscriminate brutality. Unpredictable in nature, it has become a weaponized environment of mutual destruction for many. Yet, somehow, VenoMark has emerged with a record of 3-0. A record that increased by one when The_Purple_Bunny found himself inside a glorified rabbit trap! Facing one of the few unknowns in his distinguished career, The_Purple_Bunny succumbed totally to the violence of the cage! VenoMark looked chillingly at home, battering TPB until he could stand no more, while VenoMark emerged unscathed! A shocking victory!

11. "Team Xtreme" Marz & Violent`J (c) defeated Unknown265 & mwgrant0 in a comprehensive victory! [+4] [Duo Division Championship]
A stand-out performance during Tower of Power XVII had delivered them to a title opportunity, but it was the personal journey of Unknown265 & mwgrant0 that really made this match matter. The pair had an excellent start to the year, but when they challenged for the titles way back at Supercard 76, tragedy struck when mwgrant0 was cut down! June began the story of survival with mwgrant0's return, leading to a six month fight back to the top of the ranks! They were back on top - but not for long! Marz & Violent`J made history at the same Tower of Power that shot the challengers into the title picture. There, they guaranteed a full calendar year for the reign as champions. At Supercard 86. they extended that run to an unfathomable 392 days! It was an effortless win, leaving no amount of uncertainty, with perhaps one exception. This time - Unknown265 & mwgrant0 survived!

10. The Invasion defeated The British Exit in a Survival Sequence. [5-3]
- 1. edge (Invasion) elim. nif (Brexit)
- 2. Liam (Brexit) elim. edge (Invasion)
- 3. Jason_Voorhees (Invasion) elim. Liam (Brexit)
- 4. Jason_Voorhees (Invasion) elim. AcidicWonder (Brexit)
- 5. Jason_Voorhees (Invasion) elim. Ironize (Brexit)
- 6. ShawnMichaels (Brexit) elim. Jason_Voorhees (Invasion)
- 7. ShawnMichaels (Brexit) elim. Shen_DuHBK (Invasion)
- 8. Genku (Invasion) elim. ShawnMichaels (Brexit)
Survivors: Genku & DaemonX

Much like their recent Duo bouts, the exchange between Liam & nif and Jason_Voorhees & edge ultimately went in favour of The Invasion. JV has been getting to know much of The British Exit in recent weeks, and used to that to great advantage. AcidicWonder fell with little struggle. Ironize did better to endure Jason's offense, sneaking in a shot while tiring him out. ShawnMichaels reaped the benefits of Ironize's work, swiftly taking Brexit's second elimination. It then turned into an all-out war as he renewed hostilities with arch-nemesis Shen_DuHBK! Shen had the better of him for a while, but it soon looked like two bulls evenly locked. ShawnMichaels was able to edge out the win, but the arrival of DaemonX' enforcer The Great Genku quickly shut it down! A solid result!

9. ElJobber defeated m0s [+1]
Since quitting the league, m0s has been more "untied" from responsibility, but the memory that led him to this point remains. He's been carrying a grudge against ElJobber since early last year, projecting blame for the collapse of the KFL sub-league, and the match that ended his brother Knickxasawrrrr's career! m0s made a raucous return in August, but fell short at All-Star Summer Showdown in a disappointing effort. Even so, he's fast becoming the bad penny ElJobber can't escape -- returning to capitalize on ElJobber's heinous loss at Supercard 84 with the hope to inflict another! ElJobber was ready, but this time m0s arrived with plenty of fight in him! The capitulation that made it a one-sided fight at Supercard 82 wasn't a factor, forcing ElJobber to dig deeper to close out the match. An extra gear helped him get the monkey off his back.

8. "The United" Shoe, Artanix & Mime defeated TonyTheTiger, CaTigeReptile & Poasty [+1]
TonyTheTiger, CaTigeReptile & Poasty read like an odd trio on paper, but it's their mutual issues with The United that have given them strength. July's Royal Roulette saw the rearrangement of The United away from new management, and the beginning of new success. TTT & CTR launched an All-Star Summer Showdown alliance as a result, finding an ally in Poasty by Night of Champions V. Back from a personal hiatus after losing to TTT & CTR, Mime wiped out Poasty just two weeks ago, setting up fresh tensions for the Survivor Sequence clash! That team unity that started it all was on display as The United formed an unstoppable trio! TTT, CTR & Poasty did their best to fight, but the expertise of Shoe, Artanix and 2-time Duo champ Mime was just too great! A scintillating Supercard win for returning Mime and The United, whose solidarity would be tested later in the main event, when Royal Roulette winner Hokey would challenge United: Mimik for the Undisputed Championship!

7. Statix (c) defeated Banging in a close fought match. [+1] [KFL Championship]
A complicated plan orchestrated by ShawnMichaels delivered Banging to a KFL Championship shot earned in a late contender match. Banging disappeared after a strange encounter with Grayback a fortnight ago, but emerged according to plan at Supercard 86. The only piece of the puzzle missing was a title victory! He was supposed to bring the KFL Championship into the clutches of The British Exit, but instead, Alliance hero Statix once again proved dominion over the title! The close fought match put the pressure back on Team Brexit who would have no gold to fallback on in the event of a loss later that night.

6. The Invasion defeated The Alliance in a Survival Sequence! [5-4]
- 1. PaganFreak (Alliance) elim. Jauger (Invasion)
- 2. PaganFreak (Alliance) elim. Shaggy2Dope (Invasion)
- 3. MINION (Invasion) elim. PaganFreak (Alliance)
- 4. UlcaTron (Alliance) elim. MINION (Invasion)
- 5. hydraslash (Invasion) elim. UlcaTron (Alliance)
- 6. Rockey316 (Alliance) elim. hydraslash (Invasion)
- 7. LordSkarlet (Invasion) elim. Rockey316 (Alliance)
- 8. LordSkarlet (Invasion) elim. The_Hurricane (Alliance)
- 9. LordSkarlet (Invasion) elim. AlbertBeefcake (Alliance)
Survivor: "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet

With Violent`J occupied by a Duo Division Championship defense later in the night, The Invasion's secret weapon deferred captaincy of The Invasion to the fighter he believes could bring Undisputed gold to the group: "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet! Rounding out the team was a ragtag group of VJ loyalists, and at the start of their Survival Sequence clash with The Alliance, it seemed like The Y2Juggalo's selections were counting down to defeat! PaganFreak had no mercy for former Duo partner Jauger, but at least found a worthy opponent in Shaggy2Dope! He broke a 2-0 lead for The Alliance, but couldn't carry on against Corrupt MINION. The Fallen substitute was quick to fall to UlcaTron, who was then too fatigued to battle former partner Corrupt hydraslash! Alliance Hall of Famer Rockey316 made sure UlcaTron was avenged, and his team had a 3-on-1 advantage with eyes to victory. That's when the nightmare truly began! VJ's pick was validated in an instant as Rockey316 and The_Hurricane were effortlessly wiped out of the match! Suddenly there was only AlbertBeefcake, facing down LordSkarlet in a sudden death situation! Albo summoned that yellow bandana factor and was "rar"-ing wild all over The American Nightmare! LS was able to inflict a much needed blow, devolving the final fight into a tumbling lock-up! The arena was gripped as the two evenly matched fighters wrestled in a complete stalemate! In an amazing display, LordSkarlet was able to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat! An amazing win for The Invasion!

5. "The New Generation" DECEPTION, Baraka_MK & Onryo defeated "The Invasion" Loopster, Chromatose & MattHardy in an absolutely comprehensive result! [+2]
Bad blood between The New Generation and The Invasion goes all the way back to June, when Loopster scored a fluke win against then-Undisputed Champion DECEPTION in the Second Round of the Mid-Year Grand Slam. Loopster's allegiances have allowed him to steal a few wins against Baraka_MK & Onryo, but at Pre-Show 86: Daemon Quest, "The Hitman" finally silenced Loopster with a long await one-on-one rematch! With The Invasion stretched thin by battles with multiple foes, Loopster was fresh out of luck as The New Generation wrote the final word in their feud! Chromatose & MattHardy were just along for the ride as The New Generation absolutely dominated Loopster and his allies! A comprehensive dismissal of Loopster's early bragging!

4. CCShadow & Scott-Howell defeated Jammer2Omega & Porygonix in a comprehensive win. [+2]
Throughout 2016, Jammer2Omega & Porygonix have risen to be one of the top teams competing in the Duo Division. Their chemistry has produced some impressive wins, but at Supercard 85: Tower of Power XVII they were forced out by one of the great teams they aspire to: CCShadow & Scott-Howell! It was actually a repeat of defeats incurred at Pre-Show 85, Tower of Power XVI and the Grand Prix Show. Each has been a valuable learning experience, allowing J2O & Porygonix to measure their development against a benchmark team. At Supercard 86, they were eager to try once again, but alas, it was not a good day for the up-and-coming team. They were comprehensively done away with by the veteran tandem. A reminder that there is always more work to be done!

3. Politics & Menas defeated MKR & blacksaibot in a solid victory. [+2]
MKR & blacksaibot have never been big on personality, but they've earned a reputation over the years as a solid hard-hitting duo. They reemerged in September through a tough Tournament 74  bracket, and have made a point of making The Greek Crisis' life harder in the months since. For recently reunited fan-favourites Politics & Menas, they posed a serious threat to their on-going comeback! Fortunately, the in-form pair have eased back into competition in just the right way! Politics & Menas put together a powerful attack, taking away a very solid victory.

2. United: Murdoink defeated Sekktor and SubScorpTile (c) in a grueling three-way victory! [+3/-1/-2] [Division 2 Championship]
The race for the Division 2 Championship has brought all three Supercard 86 title fighters into conflict throughout the year. Issues with Murdoink and SubScorpTile flared after a series of matches leading up to Pre-Show 82. Murdoink struck back by eliminating SST from the Div.2 Battle Royal at All-Star Summer Showdown, but SubScorpTile again evened the score at Pre-Show 83, using the win to eventually leverage his way back to the title! Sekktor's concerns have mostly been with the Duo Division of late, leading SST behind way back at Pre-Show 81. After he won the Halloween Battle Royal, Sekktor was briefly KFL #1 Contender, but parlayed that into a Division 2 title shot. Murdoink attempted to oust him just two days ago, but officials stepped in to ensure Murdoink didn't have it that easy! The United fighter had a target on his back, but SubScorpTile's attempts to play aggressor cost him dearly, as Murdoink used his wanted status to build momentum! A new Division 2 Champion was guaranteed as SST suffered swift elimination! As the match wore on, Sekktor looked less impressive. He tried to grapple with Murdoink, but the excitement had an energizing effect! In an exciting finish, Murdoink flipped the script on Sekktor to become a two-time Division 2 Champion!

1. Mark & Leroy defeated "The Greek Crisis" maxilos & proXade in a solid win. [+1]
It doesn't take much to get The Greek Crisis riled up to fight, and they were more than happy to jump at the chance to take down one of the rising names in the Duo Division: Mark & Leroy! A hard fought win at Pre-Show 86 has put Mark & Leroy back on the contender's radar, reminding many of their success this year. maxilos & proXade were eager to snuff that out, but couldn't suppress a superior foe.

2 Title Announcements for Sunday

On the eve of Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion, the major announcements are still coming! Today, officials clarified the situation surrounding both the KFL Championship and the hotly disputed Division 2 Championship!

The first announcement confirmed the elusive Banging will made to challenge Statix for the KFL Championship this weekend. He earned the title shot two weeks ago in a controversial challenge to Sekktor, but hasn't been seen since a confrontation with Grayback on November 7.

A similar scenario during yesterday's Friday Night Fights saw United: Murdoink earn himself a Division 2 Championship shot, but officials have made it known Murdoink won't get away with the switch that easily! Sekktor will still get a shot at Div.2 gold - turning the match into a three-way!

The reinsertion of Sekktor into the Division 2 title match may make things tough for Murdoink, but the real pressure will be on defending champ SubScorpTile! He'll now have to beat two tough opponents if he's going to keep the title in the grips of The Invasion!

The Invasion are all over this weekend's card, stretched thin as they attempt to fight a war with multiple fronts! The British Exit and The Alliance will man teams of five when they take on The Invasion in two separate Survival Sequence matches! DaemonX will captain a group against the Brits, while "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet takes command for his biggest supporter - Violent`J!

The Y2Juggalo cum senior Invasion figure will be too busy defending the Duo Championship with neutral partner Marz in another match that will challenge the faction's tenuous hold on gold! Team Xtreme survivors Unknown265 & mwgrant0 must face the very personal trial, attempting to end a championship reign now approaching 392 days!

The Invasion will also compete in a test of trios when Loopster faces the combined awesome might of "The New Generation" DECEPTION, Baraka_MK & Onryo in what promises to be another exciting match! European convert Chromatose will be by Loopster's side, with a third member of The Invasion to be advised.

Friday Night Fights (November 18, 2016)

It was a thin roster on Friday Night Fights as many of the league's best prepared themselves for this weekend's Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion! Though the majority opted to avoid any last minute incidents, United: Murdoink had nothing to lose - and everything to gain! He challenged Sekktor to put his recently announced Division 2 Championship shot on the line in the main event!

During the body of the night, "The Invasion" Shen_DuHBK & Jason_Voorhees made a surprise appearance to turn the tables back on their British Exit rival Ironize! He suffered the brunt of a 2-on-1 ambush, reversing the tactic used this past Monday to dominate Shen_DuHBK! These two teams will meet Sunday, captained by DaemonX and ShawnMichaels in one of two high stakes Survival Sequence matches involving The Invasion!

Politics & Menas also resumed their winning ways, answering a spiteful challenge from "The Greek Crisis" maxilos & proXade. The Greek contingent are feeling sick and tired of the bias they feel Politics and his recently returned partner have been shown. They said they could beat them any day of the week, but that day clearly wasn't Friday. The hot contest went squarely in favour of Politics & Menas.

It was a serious case of deja vu when Sekktor faced up to Murdoink's challenge at the end of the night. It was only two weeks ago that Sekkor was baited into putting a KFL Championship shot on the line after winning the Halloween Contender Battle Royal! In a crushing case of history repeating, Sekktor once again saw his golden opportunity slip through his fingers! It was a hard fought match, but United: Murdoink was the clear victor! This means he'll get a chance to dethrone old rival and Invasion recruit: SubScorpTile!

The United now have two opportunities to claim gold on Sunday! The Undisputed Championship will leave with them one way or another now that Hokey has announced he's cashing in his Royal Roulette shot to face Mimik! The rest of The United will also team in a battle of Trios to defend against arch-rivals TonyTheTiger, CaTigeReptile & Poasty! All this as well as two big Survival Sequence team matches and more! Be here Sunday, November20th for the full break down!

Friday Night Fights (November 18, 2016):
8. United: Murdoink d. Sekktor [+1] [Division 2 #1 Contenders]
7. Politics & Menas d. "The Greek Crisis" maxilos & proXade [+1]

Old Hatred Survives for ElJobber

m0s hasn't been seen since he made a raucous return in August, culminating in a brutal grudge match with ElJobber at All-Star Summer Showdown. It was but one of several bitter face-offs that have erupted between them since ElJobber double-crossed m0s in the middle of last year.

The rivalry persisted in 2016, leading to the shocking moment on the Friday Night Fights after Ultimate Grand Prix VI, when m0s quit the league! That decision left his brother Knickxasawrrrr vulnerable to a career ending defeat in May -- a result m0s still blames ElJobber for!

ElJobber had a very bad day at Supercard 84, suffering a brutal +27 impact loss in his match against United: Hokey. If m0s has his way, things will be getting a whole lot worse for ElJobber when they meet once again at Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion!

Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion (November 20th, 2016):

Trio Team-up Targets The United

Through their domination of the Royal Roulette match in July, The United became the target of an unlikely alliance between "The Predator" TonyTheTiger and "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile. They sprung their trap by turning the tables, launching a 2-on-1 ambush of Mime at All-Star Summer Showdown! The impact of the defeat preceded a self-imposed three month hiatus for Mime - which ended during this week's Friday Night Fights with the complete demolition of Poasty!

Poasty has been an ally to TTT & CTR, embroiled in their rivalry with The United in deeply effecting ways. September 16 is a date remembered for the meltdown of Shoe that left Poasty an unsuspecting victim of repeated attacks! It's an event that's haunted Poasty, whose awareness of the fragility of life comes from a previous career threatening injury.

Poasty teamed with CaTigeReptile at Supercard 83: Night of Champions V to earn a massive victory against Shoe & Artanix. Now TonyTheTiger & CTR both will have Poasty's back, forming a team-up trio to take on Shoe, Artanix & Mime at Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion!

Will The United survive Supercard 86 in tact? The main event will see Hokey cash-in his Royal Roulette opportunity to take on Mimik in a battle of teammates! This massive event goes down Sunday - November 20th! Be here as events develop and we countdown to the full results!

Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion (November 20th, 2016):
- United: Hokey versus United: Mimik (c) [Undisputed Championship]

TPB Trapped By VenoMark's Fury at Supercard 86

Few fighters have been as motivated by Mimik's surprise Undisputed Championship win at Supercard 84 as VenoMark!

Having dominated Mimik earlier in the year in a string of matches that culminated at Ultimate Grand Prix VI; VenoMark has been utterly disgusted by Mimik's ability to gain the grandest prize of them all before he could!

VenoMark thought he had his contention prospects back on track with a big victory at Pre-Show 85 and the November 11 edition of Friday Night Fights. Then Hokey made a bombshell announcement that he'd be cashing in his Royal Roulette opportunity to challenge for the title at Supercard 86!

Hokey could rightly be the subject of VenoMark's ire, but a barrier that has constantly kept the title out of reach in recent months has been The_Purple_Bunny! Their rivalry has seen the pair trade wins and VenoMark knows there's only one way to end his nemesis once and for all!

Throughout 2016 VenoMark has made a home of the unforgiving confines of the Steel Cage. A match as diabolical as this could never be considered an advantage, but at Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion, he'll have the edge of experience when he invites The_Purple_Bunny to enter the cage for the first time!

The_Purple_Bunny has done just about everything in The Great Arena, but he's never dealt with this dangerous new match type! In the Steel Cage, a legendary career as 6-time Undisputed Champion will count for absolutely nothing -- a fact Hall of Fame Cage originator Ratt found out the hard way at Pre-Show 85: Rage in the Cage!

VenoMark has a perfect record of 3-0 inside the Steel Cage. An impressive number, but it remains to be seen if this is a sign of advantage -- or if the unforgiving construct is taking its toll!

There'll be no guarantee either man survives when the cage clamps around them this Sunday - November 20th! All part of what's shaping up to be a blockbuster Supercard extravaganza!

Monday Night Invasion (November 14, 2016)

The tension was palpable on the last Monday Night Invasion before  Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion! The Invasion's enemies took their last opportunity to undermine their survival, The British Exit in particular entering the arena with the intent to set the stage for a big win!

While Jason_Voorhees & edge were distracted with a rematch challenge from rivals Liam & nif; Ironize & AcidicWonder were able to turn the numbers advantage into a victory over Invasion Cyclone: Shen_DuHBK! The big victories came as ShawnMichaels put the screws to Grayback, angered by his interference last week, which has seen Banging go MIA! More shocking: The Great Genku was chosen by DaemonX to take care of DemoniaX once and for all, but she bounced back from her Pre-Show 86 defeat to unleash the mother of all upsets against Genku! An omen for The British Exit's chances this weekend at Supercard 86?

Sekktor & legoslayer10 were looking for a positive omen when they came sniffing around Monday Night Invasion! Sekktor may've lost the KFL title shot he earned in the Halloween Battle Royal, but officials used the Monday Rankings Recap to make it known he'll receive a Division 2 Championship match! SubScorpTile opted to get proactive, grabbing Shaggy2Dope for a Duo Division strike ahead of his Supercard 86 defense. A move that backfired as legoslayer10 once again help keep Sekktor at the top of the pile with a comprehensive win!

The Rankings Recap also confirmed the demise of King Ken - cut down last week by "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet after refusing an offer to join The Invasion! Bee_07 tried to exact revenge for the fallen "King of the World", but was no match for the superior might of LordSkarlet. After the match, Violent`J made it known he'll be relying on that might to take out The Alliance. VJ explained he'll be busy defending the Duo Division Championship, but has every confidence that LordSkarlet is ready to lead The Invasion to victory - and the Undisputed Championship! He mocked DaemonX's preference for Genku, asking what's so "Great" about him, before departing.

Will LordSkarlet be successful? His team of five will face AlbertBeefcake, The_Hurricane and The Alliance in just one of the Survival Sequence team matches The Invasion must face at Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion! It all goes down this weekend - Sunday, November 20th! Also on the card, "The New Generation" DECEPTION, Baraka_MK & Onryo will take on another Invasion team led by Loopster and Chromatose! The second man was a clear choice when he beat BMK in this week's opener!
