The bad blood that exists between ex-Invasion leader ShawnMichaels and the man who got him exiled, Shen_DuHBK, is well documented. Their most recent clash was at Pre-Show 84, where ShawnMichaels' inexplicable association with DemoniaX came to the fore.
This strange relationship began on September 9th, when ShawnMichaels came to the rescue of a beleaguered DemoniaX without warning. Together they fought back Shinnokxz and NosajSamoht, and then cemented their union with wins against rick991 & kentei290 [Sep. 16] and Hidin & Learn [Sep. 23].
While this played out, ShawnMichaels and his British Exit continued to provoke The Invasion and Shen_DuHBK. Prior to the Pre-Show 84 win, Shen_DuHBK and his Invasion allies staged an attack on Friday Night Fights, earning a strong solo defeat of DemoniaX last week.
It all seemed fairly innocuous, but now ShawnMichaels is pleading for assistance from an unexpected source -- Invasion heavyweight Banging! The British Exit leader says he cannot defend DemoniaX from Shen_DuHBK's spiteful attacks, and he needs Banging's help if he's going to keep her from harm!
It's a bold claim that seems designed to trade on the coincidental similarity between DemoniaX's handle, and the name of Banging's Invasion leader: DaemonX!
DaemonX & Banging have been at the forefront of The Invasion's attack on the Duo Division, rising to top contender status with their win at Tournament 74: Grand Slam [Doubles]. Behind their recent success lies a complicated history, however.
Untold tales of torture made Banging subservient to DaemonX in the final days of ICWW -- which seems to be playing out to this day! If ShawnMichaels can successfully confuse Banging's loyalties, it will be a major piece claimed in the battle between The British Exit and The Invasion! Banging was a major played in ShawnMichaels' version of The Invasion, helping to bring the coveted KFL Championship into their clutches in March.
