Monday Night Invasion (January 16, 2017)

The United stood gathered in The Great Arena as Monday Night Invasion began a new year much the same way it had ended the last one. The December 19 edition concluded with the bombshell of The United defeating The Invasion's leaders - and announcing their cancellation!

The United were back to reaffirm their statement, declaring January 19th would indeed mark the final Monday Night Invasion. They boasted that they had achieved a level of power in a single month that The Invasion had only dreamed about! Each member brandished their championship belt: Mimik the Undisputed Championship, Shoe & Artanix the Duo Division Championships, Mime the KFL Championship, and Murdoink the Division 2 Championship!

The team announced that Monday nights would now belong to them, and as their comrade Hokey was on his way out, they would be searching for a new member to help run the show. At that very moment, Corrupt hydraslash entered the arena, but The Invasion member wasn't there to sign-up! His Duo Division partner Corrupt MINION had suffered the ultimate defeat in the First Round of the 2017 Grand Slam Launch. Mime was the one to put him on the shelf, so hydraslash challenged him to put his recently won KFL Championship on the line in a main event grudge match!

The night turned out to be full of Tournament 77 grudges as remnants of The Invasion gathered to seek retribution. Ghrimm hadn't made an impression as a member of The Invasion, so nobody saw him making the Third Round, where he fell in a double elimination draw to Shinnokxz! Eager to prove which was the better man, they met in an intriguing rematch -- Shinnokxz the decisive winner!

MattHardy escalated his Round 1 loss to McDaniel into an unsuccessful Duo Division clash. Round 2 challengers didn't fare any better: Zentile unable to best Invasion Div.2 rival SubScorpTile, MAX Damaged Rhyno still outclassed by a gentler MKMaster, and KurtAngle deceptively talented in his repeat win against Maridany.

In the main event, Corrupt hydraslash did his best to upset The United's stranglehold on the gold, but he could not avenge his Fallen comrade. Mime secures his first title defense, looking strong two weeks ahead of his Supercard 88 defense against "The Predator" TonyTheTiger!

The action doesn't stop here! Friday Night Fights returns later this week, ahead of Pre-Show 88: The Long Hard Road! Be here for all the developments as UGP Season gets under way!

Monday Night Invasion (December 19, 2016)

The Invasion's grip on The Great Arena slipped on the final edition of Monday Night Invasion for 2016! The disappointments of Supercard 87: End Of Days opened up unforeseen vulnerabilities in the super-faction! As they defended themselves from a final attack from their warring enemies, the top ranks turned against one another -- and a bombshell was dropped by an unexpected force!

The Invasion had absolutely nowhere to hide on the frontline! Piccolo & GohanSon started the fall, besting TripleH & WilliamRegal in a Pre-Show 87: Resistance rematch. ArtemisFlow quickly followed with another win against Jauger. Supercard winners Sekktor & legoslayer10 maintained their pressure against frenemy Corrupt hydraslash and his Fallen partner Corrupt MINION!

The Portuguese Pegasus couldn't be tamed as he issued another defeat against The_Rock! The underdogs of The Alliance, UlcaTron & PaganFreak, ended their year on a high note with an impressive victory against the Invasion Euro union of Chromatose & Shen_DuHBK! In reprisal for a two-prong attack last Friday, "The New Generation" Baraka_MK & Onryo brought the pain of defeat to SubScorpTile & Loopster, as well!

Banging emerged an Invasion hero at Supercard 87, claiming the KFL Championship. Instead of his coronation, he too was treated with contempt - "The Alliance" AlbertBeefcake & The_Hurricane pressing their End Of Days Survival Sequence win with a duo win against Banging & Grayback!

"American Nightmare" LordSkarlet gave The Invasion hope with his win against DECEPTION at Supercard 87, too. Even that career-defining moment was challenged as out-going KFL Champion Statix jumped back into active duty! The Alliance heavyweight earned a convincing win in the war, striking down The Invasion's great white hope!

"Contender Elect" Genku, Violent`J and DaemonX could only squabble amongst themselves as The Invasion collapse around them! VJ attacked Genku for losing his match to CaTigeReptile at Supercard 87. Genku fired back, lambasting Violent`J for relinquishing the 'guaranteed' Duo Division Championships after 420 days! After a string of defeats, including the Survival Sequence loss at End Of Days, DaemonX's leadership was dismissed by the power pairing. He chided both for betraying the trust he placed when he recruited both into The Invasion!

Their disagreements were put aside as new Duo Division Champions Shoe & Artanix and their United teammate Mime emerged to challenge The Invasion! The final Monday Night Invasion fight for 2016 was a Supercard caliber contest of trios! The disunity within The Invasion appeared to get the better of them as Genku, Violent`J and DaemonX shared in the downfall of their faction!

In one of the most shocking moments since the launch of Monday Night Invasion, The United declared in unison that they were cancelling The Invasion!

Monday Night Invasion: Week 41 (December 19, 2016):
9. "The United" Shoe (c), Artanix (c) & Mime d. Genku, Violent`J & DaemonX [+1]
8. Statix d. "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet [+2]

Monday Night Invasion (December 12, 2016)

The Koalition manned a small, but powerful task force on this week's edition of Monday Night Invasion. It was "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile and The New Generation who caused all manner of problems for the top fighters of The Invasion!

The Alliance got back into the act, filling the void with a string of hard fought challenges to The Invasion! Once again it was AlbertBeefcake and The_Hurricane who had the best luck. While Hurricane took out the weapon known as SubScorpTile, it was AlbertBeefcake who caused further upset for Invasion figurehead DaemonX! Another chip in the eroding power DX once held.

At the top of the card was a new Invasion power dynamic - the combined might of "Contender Elect" Genku and his election opponent "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet! Genku has been taking full advantage of his worthy adversary, employing his abilities to further diminish the crumbling ranks of The British Exit. They both had big wins at Pre-Show 87, but met their match against The Koalition power play of CaTigeReptile & DECEPTION! The Guardian & The Hitman combined to make an awesome force in a hard hitting main event!

"New Generation" Baraka_MK & Onryo were also in fine form in two-man competition against a worthy pairing. Banging returned to The Invasion ranks last Friday, and followed through on the moment shared with Grayback, reuniting their vintage team at Pre-Show 87! Banging & Grayback combined effectively, but found themselves overwhelmed by the legendary team!

This weekend is Supercard 87: End Of Days - the final major card for 2016! The Invasion's grasp of the Duo Division Championship will be challenged when "The United" Shoe & Artanix take on Invasion Hall of Famer Violent`J and his partner Marz! Their 20th title defenses is the semi main to a triple threat Undisputed Championship bout which will determine the title holder faced by "Contender Elect" Genku! Don't miss it - Sunday, December 18th!

Monday Night Invasion: Week 40 (December 12, 2016):

Monday Night Invasion (December 5, 2016)

The newly minted "Contender Elect" Genku kept out of reach as "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile joined The Alliance and British Exit in retaliatory attacks on Monday Night Invasion!

CTR was inadvertently caught in the precision strike on Friday Night Fights two weeks ago, and again last week. These attacks have led her to reevaluate The Invasion as a biggest threat than anything seen before. Unable to get her hands on Genku, she took the fight straight to Invasion leader DaemonX in the main event. Her victory was a rousing call at the end of a war torn night.

While The Brexiteers celebrated a storming victory in the first match, "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet was carrying out a devastating plan for The Invasion. While the rest of his fellows held off various hostile threats, AcidicWonder was lured into the lion's den. Still reeling from the attack two weeks ago, AcidicWonder had no fight left in him. A meagre +1 rated impact was all it took to demolish another pillar of The British Exit!

Loopster, "The Fallen" Corrupt hydraslash & Corrupt MINION and Jason_Voorhees also picked up big wins for The Invasion. Only The Alliance made any dent against the awesome force on their home turf, AlbertBeefcake and The_Hurricane both finding solid victories, divided in the war zone.

Monday Night Invasion: Week 39 (December 5, 2016):
8. "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile d. DaemonX [+4]
7. "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet d. AcidicWonder [+1] [-1up]
6. Loopster d. UlcaTron [+1]

Monday Night Invasion (November 28, 2016)

In response to the surgical strike of last week's Friday Night Fights; The British Exit were a reduced force attempting a retaliatory attack during Monday Night Invasion. With Ironize on the injured list, and AcidicWonder not far behind, they were no match for The Invasion, who stonewalled them in their attempts to interfere with the night's main event!

The Invasion have their sights set on the Undisputed Championship, and on November 30th they will elect their challenger from either "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet or The Great Genku. With that lofty goal in mind, a final face-off was arranged by Genku, intent on proving his superiority over the unproven option in LordSkarlet. All part of Genku's active campaign to be The Invasion's choice.

The American Nightmare has had the support of Duo Division Champion Violent`J, emerging as a slight favourite with his recent exploits including a Steel Cage victory that took Ratt off the board for the time being! Feats like that have shown LordSkarlet has what it takes to reach the next level, but experience has been a concern for DaemonX, who supports Genku. Indeed, the experience gap was evident as Genku earned a convincing win over his rival. A result he was all too happy to celebrate.

Unfortunately for DaemonX, his sway isn't as strong as it might've been had his challenge for the KFL Championship come through. He alluded to his plans last week, but The Alliance's champion would not be dealt with easily. Statix clearly struggled with The Invasion leader, fighting below his best on a night of mixed results for The Alliance. AlbertBeefcake, The_Hurricane and Rockey316 scored wins for The Alliance, but PaganFreak and UlcaTron were beaten. UlcaTron was ambushed in a 2-on-1 fight with The Fallen, but showed tremendous resilience to resist serious impact. Statix did the same, relying on pure willpower to keep the gold out of the clutches of The Invasion!

The KFL Championship isn't the only title The Invasion hopes to have in their clutches! Be here Wednesday to find out who they will elect to pursue the ultimate prize - The Undisputed Title!

Monday Night Invasion: Week 38 (November 28, 2016):
8. The Great Genku d. "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet [+2]
7. Statix (c) d. DaemonX [+1] [KFL Championship]

Monday Night Invasion (November 21, 2016)

The Invasion may have walked away from Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion with team wins over The British Exit and The Alliance, but if they thought that was going to end the war -- they were sorely mistaken! It seemed as if the weekend had only created a renewed sense of urgency, with fighters from both forces flooding into Monday Night Invasion for another round!

The chaotic scenes prompted an emergency meeting between Invasion figureheads DaemonX and Violent`J during the event. Away from prying eyes, each agreed it was time to escalate their effort to end the conflict once and for all. They agreed on the need for a "precision strike", but on the subject of who can solve their championship deficit, the pair remained opposed. DaemonX said next week he'll deal with the KFL Championship, and they would watch LordSkarlet and Genku closely during that time so The Invasion could elect an Undisputed Championship challenger.

The Invasion's two top title prospects featured heavily in the night's end. ShawnMichaels faced down Genku without the drain of eliminating two Invasion fighters, as he had on Sunday. The one-on-one conditions did him no good, though. Genku had the British Exit leader's number, utterly destroying him with a bone rattling +13 impact!

In the final fight, "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet also found himself face-to-face with the team captain he beat at Supercard 86. In that match, it was LordSkarlet who was forced to run the gauntlet - snatching victory from the jaws of defeat with an incredible three elimination streak! Alliance leader AlbertBeefcake had come close to securing his team the win, and he wasn't too far off the pace in the Monday Night main event, either. Just as he did in the Survival Sequence, LordSkarlet held on to eke out another good win for his team.

What will this mean for The Invasion? The battle lines have been drawn! It seems the war is heating up as 2016 nears an end! Stay tuned as things heat up in the race to December!

Monday Night Invasion: Week 37 (November 21, 2016):

Monday Night Invasion (November 14, 2016)

The tension was palpable on the last Monday Night Invasion before  Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion! The Invasion's enemies took their last opportunity to undermine their survival, The British Exit in particular entering the arena with the intent to set the stage for a big win!

While Jason_Voorhees & edge were distracted with a rematch challenge from rivals Liam & nif; Ironize & AcidicWonder were able to turn the numbers advantage into a victory over Invasion Cyclone: Shen_DuHBK! The big victories came as ShawnMichaels put the screws to Grayback, angered by his interference last week, which has seen Banging go MIA! More shocking: The Great Genku was chosen by DaemonX to take care of DemoniaX once and for all, but she bounced back from her Pre-Show 86 defeat to unleash the mother of all upsets against Genku! An omen for The British Exit's chances this weekend at Supercard 86?

Sekktor & legoslayer10 were looking for a positive omen when they came sniffing around Monday Night Invasion! Sekktor may've lost the KFL title shot he earned in the Halloween Battle Royal, but officials used the Monday Rankings Recap to make it known he'll receive a Division 2 Championship match! SubScorpTile opted to get proactive, grabbing Shaggy2Dope for a Duo Division strike ahead of his Supercard 86 defense. A move that backfired as legoslayer10 once again help keep Sekktor at the top of the pile with a comprehensive win!

The Rankings Recap also confirmed the demise of King Ken - cut down last week by "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet after refusing an offer to join The Invasion! Bee_07 tried to exact revenge for the fallen "King of the World", but was no match for the superior might of LordSkarlet. After the match, Violent`J made it known he'll be relying on that might to take out The Alliance. VJ explained he'll be busy defending the Duo Division Championship, but has every confidence that LordSkarlet is ready to lead The Invasion to victory - and the Undisputed Championship! He mocked DaemonX's preference for Genku, asking what's so "Great" about him, before departing.

Will LordSkarlet be successful? His team of five will face AlbertBeefcake, The_Hurricane and The Alliance in just one of the Survival Sequence team matches The Invasion must face at Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion! It all goes down this weekend - Sunday, November 20th! Also on the card, "The New Generation" DECEPTION, Baraka_MK & Onryo will take on another Invasion team led by Loopster and Chromatose! The second man was a clear choice when he beat BMK in this week's opener!

Monday Night Invasion: Week 36 (November 14, 2016):
8. Sekktor & legoslayer10 d. SubScorpTile (c) & Shaggy2Dope [+2]

Monday Night Invasion (November 7, 2016)

Fallout from last week's Halloween Battle Royal blanketed the action on Monday Night Invasion!

Battle Royal winner Sekktor returned to Monday without his hard earned opportunity to challenge the KFL Champion. That was lost during last week's Friday Night Fights, when The British Exit goaded him to put his title shot on the line against Banging. Their latest gambit means the confused Kiwi will take on Statix in the near future, fighting to bring the gold into the domain of The Brexit and exiled leader ShawnMichaels.

Both master and minion made appearances in the body of the Monday card. ShawnMichaels had no trouble exacting revenge against surprise eliminator Jericho. Banging didn't quite have the same ease in his hard hitting victory against Grayback, though.

The Invasion fighter had shared a strange moment with Banging during the Halloween Battle Royal, and returned to confront the masked KFL #1 Contender. He referenced winning the ICWW Tag Team Championships with Banging in November at the classic ICWW: One Night Only. Grayback insisted he could see Banging recognized him, and compelled him to abandon his allegiance to the Brexiteers. Banging lashed out violently, destroying Grayback with a +5 impact for his challenge! He then fled The Great Arena, leaving "The Crippler" lying.

Despite his bad luck on Friday, Sekktor and legoslayer10 answered another challenge, this time from Jason_Voorhees & edge. Sekktor single-handedly eliminated the Invasion duo back-to-back in the Halloween Battle. It was a tougher fight in 2-man stakes, but Sekktor earned another win.

nif recruited Liam in his quest to take down TripleH for his premature exit, facing down WilliamRegal with the benefit of more familiar dynamics. Likewise, Chromatose joined Loopster to attempt to work out their mutual issues with "The New Generation" Baraka_MK & Onryo. In that case, the mastery of two-man fighting firmly advantaged The New Generation!

No match was harder hitting, or more shocking than the unexpected main event. King Ken was one of the surprise entrants drawn into the Halloween Battle Royal. His near-miss drew the attention of "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet, who extended the olive branch of The Fallen to a fighter he saw falling from grace.

Ken came face-to-face with The Invasion's title prospect in the middle of the arena, admitting he was disappointed to have slipped since winning the King of the World tournament, and competing for the Undisputed Championship at Supercard 73. He commended LordSkarlet on his climb back to the top after a nightmare start to 2016, too. Right when it seemed Ken would accept LordSkarlet's offer, he said he will never fall that low! He said The Invasion were a cancer and he might just join up with The Alliance to send them packing. That prompted LordSkarlet to leap into "a match" that left King Ken absolutely decimated! A violent conclusion to Monady Night Invasion!

Monday Night Invasion: Week 35 (November 7, 2016):
8. "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet d. King Ken [+25] [-1up]
7. "The Alliance" AlbertBeefcake & The_Hurricane d. "The Fallen" Corrupt hydraslash & Corrupt MINION [+1]
6. Sekktor & legoslayer10 d. Jason_Voorhees & edge [+1]

Monday Night Invasion (October 31, 2016)

Throughout its existence; the Kombat Fight League played host to a special Halloween Battle Royal tradition observed every October 31st. Winners have included VenoMark (2012), The Great Genku (2013), TonyTheTiger (2014), and avenger45 (2015) -- all fighters who've enjoyed memorable reigns as KFL Champion!

Since the collapse of the sub-league at the end of 2015, the KFL Championship has lived on as a highly sought after prize for members of The Invasion. With the title currently in the hands of Alliance fighter Statix, the continuation of this contender's tradition seemed like the perfect opportunity to install a new Invasion #1 Contender! The Invasion wouldn't be able to stack the deck, however, with the thirty-fighter battle royal attracting an eclectic mix of fighters from The Alliance, The British Exit, The New Generation, and the fighting ranks at large.

The lines between factions were blurred as all thirty fighters fought for their chance to challenge for gold. Alliance fighter PaganFreak surprised with the first elimination of Brexiteer Ironize! That was quickly followed by the rapid upset elimination of "The Fallen" Corrupt MINION & Corrupt hydraslash, as well! AdiciWonder and nif thinned out The British Exit's hopes with their early eliminations. UlcaTron was also a disappointing early exit, having been in consideration since a strong performance at Tournament 75!

Time seemed to stop when Banging was confronted by Invasion fighter Grayback. The confused ICWW alum has been fighting for ShawnMichaels and The British Exit of late, but there was a noticeable hesitation before he eliminated Grayback! The distraction was enough to leave DemoniaX vulnerable to "Mad Dog" Onryo. Ringleader ShawnMichaels was furious, but soon found himself eliminated by unlikely Invasion fighter Jericho!

Sekktor would've liked to get his hands on former partner Corrupt hydraslash, but he was already gone. Instead, what would develop into a fantastic run hit its first peak with the back-to-back eliminations of Jason_Voorhees and edge both! It wasn't long before he got his hands on Jericho and Jauger, as well! Somewhere during all of that, Baraka_MK took out one of The Invasion's big names with a surprising mid-match elimination of Chromatose!

As the ranks began to thin, it was becoming clear which fighters would be deciding the result. With the elimination of chaos_Drone by Banging, the thirty were whittled down to a powerhouse six! The Invasion's Loopster and Shen_DuHBK double-teamed Banging to set up a quickfire elimination. Sekktor seized his opportunity for retribution, sending Shen_DuHBK to the loser's list. This began a final countdown that next claimed Loopster -- meaning The Invasion would not have a KFL #1 Contender at the end of the match!

Surprise entrant King Ken had been vital in the elimination of Loopster and tried to work down Sekktor, but soon found himself eliminated, leaving Baraka_MK for an exciting showdown! Sekktor may've taken some lumps, but he was still strong enough to fend off The Dude's offense. In a Halloween shocker -- Sekktor finished the match, becoming the new #1 Contender to the KFL Championship! An unexpected result that left many factions seething as October came to an end.

Monday Night Invasion (October 24, 2016)

A celebratory atmosphere opened Monday Night Invasion, where Duo Division Champions Marz & Violent`J were surrounded by friends to celebrate their 365th day as undefeated champs! Their successful defense at Supercard 85: Tower of Power XVII had guaranteed them completion of a full calendar year! They weren't the only team to shine at Sunday's event, though.

"The Alliance" AlbertBeefcake & The_Hurricane equaled the Challenger 7 record of six wins at Tower of Power XVII, and with that in mind they interrupted proceedings to challenge Team Xtreme to defend their titles in the night's main event! They weren't the only opposition force looking to rain on Violent`J and The Invasion's parade, either!

The British Exit were back in the arena to cause harm where they could. ShawnMichaels continued his command over recruits Banging & DemoniaX, marshalling a solid victory against Invasion arch-rivals Shen_DuHBK, Jason_Voorhees & edge! It was the General's benefit supplied by unlucky soldiers: Ironize & AcidicWonder were out of luck in a hard fought rematch against Rhyno & Grayback. Similarly, Tower stand-outs Liam & nif were narrowly edge out of a win against hot Challenger 7 duo "The Fallen" Corrupt hydraslash & Corrupt MINION!

It was hard for the main event competitors not to have a wry smile on their faces as they squared off for a tense Duo Division Championship showdown! Nostalgia hit hard in the build to Marz & VJ's record setting title defense at Supercard 85. In a rematch of their Dead Or Alive IX battle, the ICWW alum were a blast from the past for a new age! This time out, AlbertBeefcake & The_Hurricane were in duo harmony. Their attack hit hard and fast, but Team Xtreme too were enjoying a renewed sense of togetherness, mutually motivated by their title record! The Alliance were tantalizingly good -- but Team Xtreme would not be denied! Still champions after 365 days!

Monday Night Invasion: Week 33 (October 24, 2016):
6. "Team Xtreme" Marz & Violent`J (c) d. "The Alliance" AlbertBeefcake & The_Hurricane [+1] [Duo Division Championship]

Monday Night Invasion (October 17, 2016)

Last week DaemonX took The Invasion to Friday Night Fights to launch an all-out assault on The British Exit. This week, the British were coming to even the score on Monday Night Invasion!

Far fewer in number, Team Brexit was a less encompassing threat to the usual proceedings of Monday nights. Having lost to ShawnMichaels last Friday, DaemonX remained hidden while his shock troopers did the fighting. ShawnMichaels was the only fight to again make an impact, taking down old nemesis Shen_DuHBK. The rest of the British Invasion suffered defeats: Liam & nif and Ironize & AcidicWonder beaten decisively. Jason_Voorhees & edge could meet Liam & nif again if they can fight out of The Challenger 7 this weekend to climb Tower of Power XVII!

Banging returned to Monday Night fighting on the side of The Invasion. Still confused by the identity of DemoniaX, Banging tried to avenge the MAX Damage impact she suffered on Friday at the hands of DaemonX' chief enforcer: The Great Genku. Alas, Genku far outclassed Banging in a comprehensive victory! Still suffering from her harsh beating, DemoniaX couldn't beat Jauger.

The Invasion's enemies are many, and although The British Invasion couldn't occupy the entire event -- The New Generation and The Alliance were both in tow to bring the fight to the home team! The New Generation were back in the main event, with former champ DECEPTION happy to be alongside his friends in a scintillating victory over Violent`J and The Fallen!

This weekend will see Violent`J & Marz defend their Duo Division Championship in the final battle of Supercard 85: Tower of Power XVII. Among the top rated teams competing at the peak of The Tower will be Baraka_MK & Onryo! If the champs can fend off the competition they'll complete the feat of one full year as reigning champions. If The New Generation, or #1 team TonyTheTiger & CaTigeReptile, can beat the champs history will be made!

Before the Tower of Power dismantles itself -- The Challenger 7 will attempt to scale the entire Top 10 ladder! Among the six teams confirmed at Pre-Show 85 will be "The Alliance" AlbertBeefcake & The_Hurricane! It all goes down this Sunday -- October 23rd! Don't miss it!

Monday Night Invasion: Week 32 (October 17, 2016):
8. "The New Generation" DECEPTION, Baraka_MK & Onryo d. Violent`J (c), Corrupt hydraslash & Corrupt MINION [+1]

Monday Night Invasion (October 10, 2016)

DECEPTION may've had the disappointment of losing the Undisputed Championship at Supercard 84: Return to the Dark Carnival -- but his loss was Monday Night Invasion's gain!

The former champ was freed up to settle some old business, meaning The New Generation were in full force on Monday, backing up "The Hitman" as he finally addressed one of his loudest detractors: Loopster! Loopster recruited MattHardy & Jauger to defend against the man he upset way back at the Mid-Year Grand Slam, but it didn't do any good. A solid win for the trio!

While Loopster recruited from within The Invasion's ranks; Violent`J was looking outside the group for fresh power players. In reigning Division 2 Champion SubScorpTile he found a way to instantly bring gold into the Invasion fold! There was a minor dispute about the "Secret Weapon" moniker in reference to VJ's prior covert status, but SST was happy to join the growing stable just three days before he's required to defend the title against the winner of Tournament 75: Division 2 Championship V!

It's another bold addition to the massive ensemble, just two weeks after he recruited The Fallen with a view to launch LordSkarlet as The Invasion's Undisputed title hope! LordSkarlet was nowhere to be seen on Monday, suffering the after effects of MAX Damage inflicted by Ratt at Supercard 84!

LS's fate was the opposite story for DaemonX' championship project The Great Genku, who dealt MAX Damage to his own Supercard rival (Damo), and followed it up with another crushing victory over The Alliance's would-be superhero: The_Hurricane!

Despite the brutal defeat, The Alliance enjoyed a mostly successful night attacking The Invasion. AlbertBeefcake, Rockey316 and UlcaTron all earned solid victories. PaganFreak wasn't so lucky, taking an elementary loss from Violent`J's old running buddy Shaggy2Dope!

Monday Night Invasion: Week 31 (October 10, 2016):

Monday Night Invasion (October 3, 2016)

Since being revealed at Dead Or Alive IX, Violent`J has taken a bigger role within The Invasion, but his vision for the group differed from DaemonX's on Monday Night Invasion!

Seeing Undisputed Championship potential in "American Dream" LordSkarlet, The Y2Juggalo recruited The Fallen last week, and employed LordSkarlet's talents in a takedown of Duo Division #1 Contenders Ratt & NightHawk at Pre-Show 84: A Lovely Tea Party! Still, DaemonX believes it's the past experience of The Great Genku that is The Invasion's greater weapon. In an effort to settle their disagreement, the pair arranged a special contest for the night's main event.

It wouldn't be the only match pitting members of The Invasion against one another! In an unexpected turn, Banging emerged to attack Shen_DuHBK without apparent provocation! The reasons for the attack may have been unclear, but the result was certain - a decisive +3 impact leaving The Italian Cyclone the worse for wear!

Another fighter following his loyalty to Violent`J to Monday Nights has been Shaggy2Dope. Last week he battled The_Hurricane to a standstill, but in the tie breaking rematch it was The Alliance superhero who had the greater second wind! His victory complimented a clean sweep for The Alliance, with AlbertBeefcake & UlcaTron and Rockey316 & PaganFreak picking up duo wins!

"The New Generation" Baraka_MK & Onryo were also back in the arena to put the screws to new Invasion recruits: "The Fallen" Corrupt hydraslash & Corrupt MINION! It's clear the addition of MINION to The Fallen has created a potent new pairing for the Duo Division, but The New Gen's disdain for The Invasion was just too strong!

The duo loss turned out to be a primer for a disappointing night all round for The Fallen. Despite the instance of Violent`J, "American Dream" LordSkarlet found himself struggling with the full force of a highly motivated Genku! The self-proclaimed "Great One" put forward his best effort, securing a strong win against VJ's hopeful!

Much as he did after his win last week, Genku then turned his attentions to a personal grievance with "The Chosen One" Damo! He promised payback for the elimination seen at Night of Champions V! An ominous warning just 6 days from Supercard 84: Return to the Dark Carnival - where Marz & Violent`J will attempt to reach 350 days as undefeated Duo Division Champions! An event you won't want to miss - this Sunday, October 9th!

Monday Night Invasion: Week 30 (October 3, 2016):
8. The Great Genku d. "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet [+2]
7. "The New Generation" Baraka_MK & Onryo d. "The Fallen" Corrupt hydraslash & Corrupt MINION [+1]
6. "The Alliance" Rockey316 & PaganFreak d. Chromatose & Loopster [+1]
5. The_Hurricane d. Shaggy2Dope [+2]
4. Jason_Voorhees & edge d. deadpool & MercWithMouth [+1]

Monday Night Invasion (September 26, 2016)

For months "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet & The Fallen have been a fixture of Monday Night Invasion, and although they had their differences with The Invasion earlier in the year, they were brought into the fold during the final Monday of September!

Violent`J was the catalyst for bringing The Fallen into the growing Invasion line-up, believing LordSkarlet could be the fighter to bring the Undisputed Championship to The Invasion! Behind the scenes, he and DaemonX debated who has the greatest potential to achieve the feat. Despite his recent KFL Championship loss at Pre-Show 83, VJ sees LordSkarlet as the new blood they need to upset the establishment. DaemonX, however, favors the proven track record of 3-time champion The Great Genku -- something Violent`J is cynical about after witnessing first-hand his early elimination from the Night of Champions Battle Royal! The Invasion figureheads set each a special opponent on Monday Night Invasion to test their mettle.

The American Nightmare dominated one-half of the new Duo Division #1 Contenders: NightHawk! The gambit was clearly designed to avoid a title rematch for Marz & Violent`J, but risks courting the wrath of his Hall of Fame partner: Ratt! LS was dominant in the +16 beatdown, but not enough to put NightHawk on the shelf, meaning Team Xtreme's 1 year reign is still in jeopardy!

The Great Genku found himself facing off against a beloved former ICWW Heavyweight Champion, Great Arena Hall of Famer, and recent addition to The Alliance faction: Rockey316! Though he had a tougher time, Genku was successful in his main event task, extracting a +3 impact from the Indian Legend! Genku then redirected his focus in victory, warning "The Chosen One" Damo that their Night of Champions encounter won't be forgotten! Damo eliminated Genku from title contention.

The admission of The Fallen into The Invasion only made the continuing feud between Alliance recruit UlcaTron and his former teammates run deeper. Attempt to right the loss of their Trios battle at Supercard 83, UlcaTron & PaganFreak challenged Corrupt hydraslash and new partner Corrupt MINION! Another hard fought match saw a positive return on The Invasion's investment, the new Fallen Duo victorious!

In other eventful results: VJ recruit Shaggy2Dope had an unexpected draw with The_Hurricane. Disgruntled would-be KFL contender Jason_Voorhees finally scored a grudge match win against deadpool. "British Exit" Liam & nif made another cheeky invasion on Monday Night, suffering defeat at the hands of ShawnMichaels's arch-rival Shen_DuHBK & edge.

Monday Night Invasion: Week 29 (September 26, 2016):
7. The Great Genku d. Rockey316 [+3]
6. "The Fallen" Corrupt hydraslash & Corrupt MINION d. "The Alliance" UlcaTron & PaganFreak [+1]
5. "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet d. NightHawk [+16]
4. AlbertBeefcake d. Chromatose [+1]
3. Jason_Voorhees d. deadpool [+1]

Monday Night Invasion (September 19, 2016)

Scott-Howell returned to Monday Night Invasion as impending Night of Champions festivities influenced The Invasion's quick response to an Alliance KFL Championship win at Pre-Show 83: Generation Warfare!

While Jason_Voorhees pursued deadpool for stealing away the one-on-one title opportunity he's been chasing since Dead Or Alive IX; two of The Invasion's other promising prospects were placed into a KFL #1 Contenders match in the main event. Recent Euro recruit Chromatose competed with Loopster to be the fighter who brings the gold back to The Invasion. As a courtesy to the tradition of the annual Night of Champions match: 4-time KFL Champion Scott-Howell was invited to compete to make it a three-way scramble. He succeeded in taking Chromatose out of the battle, but the ever boastful Loopster was too strong! He'll challenge Statix this Sunday, September 25th at Supercard 83: Night of Champions V!

Now former KFL Champion, LordSkarlet, was free to pursue UlcaTron for turning his back on The Fallen on the September 5th edition of Monday Night Invasion! Rockey316 rejoined UlcaTron as he did last week, this time officially billed as The Alliance! They were able to fight off LordSkarlet and Corrupt hydraslash, but The Fallen did not go quietly into the night! LordSkarlet told UlcaTron and his new friends in The Alliance to bring three of their best to Supercard 83, because The Fallen will be a trio once again on the Night of Champions!

The Great Genku prepared for his Night of Champions appearance, executing a devastating +22 impact against Alliance leader AlbertBeefcake! Albo's partner The_Hurricane did much better, enduring an assault by returning ally to Violent`J - Shaggy2Dope! Former allies PaganFreak and Jauger continued their bitter feud in another match that went the way of The Alliance, too.

Monday Night Invasion: Week 28 (September 19, 2016):
8. Loopster d. Scott-Howell & Chromatose [+1/--/-1] [KFL #1 Contenders]

Monday Night Invasion (September 12, 2016)

Over the weekend DaemonX & Banging completed their ascension to the top of the Duo Division as winners of Tournament 74: Grand Slam [Doubles]. In doing so, they surprised some of the best teams in the league -- and on Monday Night Invasion they found themselves subject to a bitter rematch!

"The New Generation" Baraka_MK & Onryo have been at odds with The Invasion for several months, and were not about to accept their Round 2 defeat! They not only challenged the winners to a rematch, but dared them to put their title contention on the line! It was a reasonable gambit to keep control of the Duo Division Championship out of Invasion hands, but DaemonX & Banging were no fluke! They turned up the heat on The New Generation, repeating their Tournament 74 victory with extra sting! It seems DaemonX & Banging will retain their right to call themselves #1 Contenders, even as they avoid the question of whether or not they'll interfere with Team Xtreme's goals of reigning for one full year! Today marks their 323rd consecutive day as champs.

One-half of the Duo Division Champions, Violent`J, formed a different alliance on Monday, teaming with new recruit Jauger in his continuing feud with PaganFreak & The Alliance! VJ hoped to gain revenge against Statix for humiliations suffered during the infamous August 29th melee, and last week's grudge match. Alas; not even Jauger's loyalty and VJ's Duo skills could combine to stop the momentum of The Alliance! The recent wins likely have Statix back in the frame to challenge for the KFL Championship!

Reigning KFL Champion LordSkarlet found himself facing a very different foe earlier in the night! deadpool was in The Great Arena armed with his Round 3 win over The American Nightmare at the Summer Grand Slam! It was enough to push LordSkarlet into a match he clearly wasn't prepared for! The champ again struggled to mount his usual offense against deadpool, but was still more than a match for him. A +3 win resetting the record between them!

The impromptu title match probably won't have eased Jason_Voorhees' frustrations any. His hopes for the one-on-one title match he was promised for Dead Or Alive IX were dashed once again, last week, when UlcaTron showed up to turn on LordSkarlet! The common enemy led Jason to team with The Fallen's Corrupt hydraslash against UlcaTron and Hall of Famer Rockey316 - who came to his aid! The Hall of Famer enthusiastically raised UlcaTron's hand after their win!

Monday Night Invasion: Week 27 (September 12, 2016):
8. DaemonX & Banging d. "The New Generation" Baraka_MK & Onryo [+2] [Duo Division #1 Contenders]
7. "The Alliance" Statix & PaganFreak d. Violent`J (c) & Jauger [+1]
6. "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet (c) d. deadpool [+3] [KFL Championship]

Monday Night Invasion (September 5, 2016)

After the chaos of last week's Monday Night Invasion, a sense of order was restored to this week's proceedings. Multiple factions were admitted to The Great Arena to pursue their grudges, including representatives of the exiled British Exit! There was no repeat of last week's melee - but that didn't mean everything went quite to plan.

At Dead Or Alive IX, Jason_Voorhees was promised a one-on-one title shot against reigning KFL Champion: LordSkarlet. A returning m0s made sure that didn't happen, and after weeks of waiting, Jason was supposed to finally get his shot. Unfortunately, nobody planned for UlcaTron throwing back in the face of his former Fallen leader! Corrupt no more - UlcaTron ambushed Jason_Voorhees, beating him down to turn the bout into a showdown between former allies! Despite being caught unprepared, the American Nightmare was more than able to absorb UlcaTron's blows and put him down. A successful defense of the KFL title -- but a moral victory for UlcaTron, who has apparently finally risen above The Fallen!

Things also went slightly awry for Violent`J as he sought payback against Statix for the humiliating blow struck during last week's melee. The ICWW alums collided in a Supercard caliber semi-main event! When the dust settled, it was The Alliance man who once again had the better of duel! The Invasion's secret weapon had to show begrudging respect to keep the peace, helped by knowing the night wasn't completely won by The Alliance.

The catalyst for last week's melee was Jauger's defection to The Invasion -- a betrayal that struck at the core of PaganFreak! The pair had been underdog allies in the fight against The Invasion, but Jauger revealed his shocking new loyalties at All-Star Summer Showdown! At that same event, Hall of Famer Rockey316 reconnected with his friends in The Alliance during the Summer Battle Royal. He came to their aid during last week's melee, and was there to even the odds for PaganFreak as he faced down his friend turned enemy. Unfortunately for him, Banging was by Jauger's side - and they combined to make a Duo too powerful for The Alliance!

The Invasion were also too strong for "The New Generation" Baraka_MK & Onryo! They were back on Monday Night to try to avenge their July 25th loss, but the unlikely tandem of Genku & Loopster is proving a potent pair! With the victory, Genku promised All-Star Summer Showdown would not be the end between he and New Generation Champion DECEPTION! He declared his intention to enter the Night of Champions Battle Royal, where he promised victory would give him the opportunity needed to become Undisputed Champion once again!

Monday Night Invasion: Week 26 (September 5, 2016):
8. "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet (c) d. UlcaTron & Jason_Voorhees [+3/-2/-1] [KFL Championship]
7. Statix d. Violent`J (c) [+1]

Monday Night Invasion (August 29, 2016)

Monday Night Invasion took a week off for the 2016 Summer Grand Slam tournament, but it was fall-out from the prior week's All-Star Summer Showdown that led to one of the most chaotic scenes since The Invasion's initial assault on The Great Arena!

It all started with PaganFreak entering the arena to confront former ally: Jauger. The Alliance fighter had shocked everyone at All-Star Summer Showdown when he helped The Invasion defeat The British Invasion. PaganFreak's emotional plea for answers erupted into a battle that left Jauger on the receiving end of a defeat. The violence drew out Violent`J, who revealed himself to be The Invasion's long rumored secret weapon earlier this month, at Dead Or Alive IX.

Violent`J helped Jauger turn the tables on PaganFreak with brutal efficiency, joining him for a 2-on-1 assault. Alliance Superfriends AlbertBeefcake & The_Hurricane rushed out to make the save for their teammate. The reset 2-on-2 fight resulted in a more fair exchange, but still Violent`J & Jauger were too strong for The Alliance!

PaganFreak recovered to turn the fight into a 3-on-2 situation. The development started Invasion fighters running out to make the save: Banging, Loopster, TripleH, The_Rock, and another All-Star Summer Showdown convert: Shen_DuHBK! Their appearance provoked a further flood of warriors as an all-out melee erupted! Running in were: Statix, Rockey316, MattHardy, Ghrimm, chaos_Drone, Chromatose, Nephrite, "The Greek Crisis" maxilos & proXade, Sgtf, "The British Exit" ShawnMichaels, Liam & nif, and The Great Genku!

The brawl clearly saw the collapse of The European Union as proXade took out Nephrite! Invasion fighter MattHardy scored a couple of eliminations on beleaguered PaganFreak and Europe's Sgtf. Violent`J stepped up to destroy maxilos, and clearly didn't get the memo that Shen_DuHBK is back with The Invasion! Banging took out The British exile ShawnMichaels! Then Alliance legend Statix rose up to take out Violent`J in a moment that sent the different sides withdrawing.

An unbelievable night of action on Monday Night Invasion!

Monday Night Invasion: Week 25 (August 29, 2016):
4. An unofficial 24-fighter Battle Royal Melee resulted in 7 eliminations:
- 1. proXade elim. Nephrite

Monday Night Invasion (August 15, 2016)

Rumors of The Invasion holding back a "secret weapon" have been prevalent ever since DaemonX pressured former Invasion leader ShawnMichaels back in May. With Michaels out of the picture, DaemonX intended to reveal their hidden ace on July 25th - but the resignation of Hokey interrupted those proceedings! Finally, after months of guessing, Dead Or Alive IX brought Violent`J into the open -- hiding in plain sight as one-half of the dominating Duo Division Champions!

As the Summer Olympic Games entered Day 10 of competition; Violent`J arrived in The Great Arena for his first Monday Night Invasion with true colours exposed!

In a surprise twist, VJ's Hall of Fame partner Marz was the first fighter to confront him. Ending any notions of collusion, Marz asked his friend what the hell he was doing. He noted the reason he came back late last year was so they could have their big run as Duo Division Champions. He pointed to the records they've broken and how close they are to being the first champions to reign for one full year! He asked Violent`J where his priorities are right when they're a week away from their biggest challenge at All-Star Summer Showdown! At that moment, Marz slapped his partner - provoking him to lash out! Marz retaliated, leaving his partner laying as he left the arena in disgust!

Violent`J was okay and returned later in the night to take on The United with The Invasion, but the earlier altercation clearly affected him. Team Xtreme will have reigned for 301 days when they meet Ratt & NightHawk at this weekend's All-Star Summer Showdown! The disunity between the team could seriously threaten their reign as they march toward one of their biggest challenges! Ratt booked the match when he defeated Violent`J in the Grand Final of the Mid-Year Grand Slam. Even more alarming for Team Xtreme: Ratt & NightHawk are the only team to have ever beaten them in The Great Arena - at All-Star Summer Showdown 2015! This could be the end of a spectacular Duo era!

An era that isn't finished is that of The Fallen! Accepting a rematch, LordSkarlet took on m0s - who stole his KFL Championship away in a shocking return at Dead Or Alive IX! The "American Nightmare" was able to pull the title right back in a desperate rematch. This sets him up for a KFL title defense against KFL great Scott-Howell, who will return from leading Team USA at the Olympics to be The American Dream one more time!

Also at All-Star Summer Showdown: m0s will follow through on his Friday Night Fights challenge to take the fight to ElJobber! PLUS: DaemonX & Banging will challenge Shoe & Artanix on the big stage, Mimik will finally get his hands on Loopster, a team of The Invasion will try to survive The British Invasion, and The Invasion's Genku will get his Undisputed Championship match while Royal Roulette winner Hokey gets his long awaited grudge match against DArqueBishop! All this and so much more -- Sunday, August 21st! The Supercard of the Summer!

Monday Night Invasion: Week 24 (August 15, 2016):

Monday Night Invasion (August 8, 2016)

In the shadow of Day 3 of the Summer Olympic Games; Monday Night Invasion rolled out devoid of The European Union that has plagued The Invasion since the controversial British Exit!

It was an understated affair as DaemonX led proceedings with announcements of grand designs for the special presentation of Dead Or Alive IX - an August 10th celebration of the anniversary of ICWW. The former "Mystery CEO" of the defunct fighting organization revealed a card topped with Jason_Voorhees taking on "The Fallen" LordSkarlet for the KFL Championship - and the long awaited reveal of The Invasion's so-called "secret weapon"! The mystery man will appear to face Hokey as part of The Invasion's pact with paranoid #1 contender The Great Genku!

Living up to their agreement, the under-manned Invasion worked to keep Royal Roulette winner Hokey too busy to steal Genku's title shot at All-Star Summer Showdown! He effortlessly destroyed Rhyno in a MAX Damage assault, though, reminiscent of some of the scenes Days 1 & 2 of the Olympics! The United, too, gave away two of their number to the Olympic Games, but split the difference with Shoe earning a solid victory, while frustrated Hall of Famer Mimik had to contest with Invasion leader DaemonX -- Loopster away for the Olympic Games!

Mimik took his lumps, but his troubles won't end there. DaemonX announced at DOA Mimik will face the man who recruited him into The United - only to be betrayed: DArqueBishop! Mimik will then be free to channel his frustration at August 21st when he finally gets his hands on Loopster!

Dead Or Alive IX will also feature an all-star ICWW Duo Division Championship match! "Team Xtreme" Marz & Violent`J have foregone a defense of their 2012 Olympic Gold Medal to attend the annual spectacle - defending their titles against "The Alliance" AlbertBeefcake & The_Hurricane! They prepared for the match with a win over KFL challenger Jason_Voorhees and his running buddy edge, much to the chagrin of the overstretched Invasion!

Dead Or Alive is a tradition dating back to 2002, when ICWW gambled its existence to become a phenomenon still remembered around the world! DOA quickly became a rallying call for the ICWW fighters, who had some of their biggest matches under the banner. It became part of The Great Arena legacy in 2012 - and has become a major stop in the Summer Season leading up to All-Star Summer Showdown! Will history be made during a special Wednesday presentation? Be here to find out!
