Pre-Show 80 Div.2 Championship Match Locked

During the last Friday Night Fights the man they're calling "The Franchise" - Poasty made his return to active competition [5/27/2016]. He attributed his recent time on the incapacitated list to an altercation with The Great Genku and made it known he wants payback! After reviewing his case, league officials have decided to grant Poasty a Division 2 Championship match at Pre-Show 80!

With an Undisputed Championship rematch already announced for the June 12th Pre-Show, it's shaping up to be a heavy hitting golden affair! The stacked Pre-Show card is in part thanks to Tower of Power XVI, which will see the Duo Division Championship contested in the unique elimination format!

Pre-Show 80 (June 12th, 2016):
- "The Hitman" DECEPTION versus The_Purple_Bunny (c) [Undisputed Championship]
- "The Franchise" Poasty versus The Great Genku (c) [Division 2 Championship]

Supercard 80: Tower of Power XVI (June 19th, 2016):
(c) "Team Xtreme" Marz & Violent`J [Duo Division Champions]
#1 "The Service Krew" Damo & DeathScepter

Monday Night Invasion (May 30, 2016)

The official announcement for Supercard 80: Tower of Power XVI had the Duos out in force on Monday Night Invasion! Each team hoped to earn selection for the championship opportunity that will gather ten top teams as The Tower, with wildcard chances afforded to The Challenger 7!

The Invasion's top team of DaemonX & Banging restored balance to Monday Nights while solidifying their rise through the ranks with a confident victory over "The Fallen" UlcaTron & hydraslash! It was the beginning of a bad night for The Fallen, whose leader LordSkarlet returned to make it known he intends to take the KFL Championship back from the invading forces!

The Fallen's vendetta didn't sit well with ShawnMichaels, who answered LordSkarlet's challenge in a gripping main event! It was a hard fought clash that came down to the wire - ShawnMichaels able to hit a desperation move to pick up a narrow victory! His tenth recorded loss sent LordSkarlet into a fatigued rage. This situation - far from over!

AlbertBeefcake, on the other hand, hit a dead end with his challenge of "The Secret Weapon" SubScorpTile. SST took offense to the challenge, eager to beat his accuser into submission. Unfortunately, he found himself overwhelmed by the righteous gusto of The Alliance front-man. Using blunt force to pick up the victory, Albert pressed SST for information about his role as The Secret Weapon discussed last week. SubScorpTile called him an idiot - emphatically denying any ties to The Invasion! It could still be subterfuge, but at face value, it certainly seems AlbertBeefcake has taken "secret weapon" at face value.

The Beefer's distraction allowed CCShadow & Scott-Howell to deal with other opponents to the "Howell Can Change" campaign. The_Rock & KurtAngle thought Howell and his cohort might be vulnerable after recent defeats at Supercard 79 and Tournament 66! No such luck! There were upset wins for Rhyno & Grayback and Liam & nif, though!

Monday Night Invasion: Week 14 (May 30, 2016):
8. ShawnMichaels d. "The Fallen" LordSkarlet [+1]
7. DaemonX & Banging d. "The Fallen" UlcaTron & Corrupt hydraslash [+2]
6. AlbertBeefcake d. "The Secret Weapon" SubScorpTile [+2]

Weekly Rankings Recap - 5/29/2016

Quick thinking by DArqueBishop helped The United bounce back from their unsuccessful title play at Supercard 79: Purple Reign. A blockbuster trios showdown with The New Generation during this week's Friday Night Fights paid off, delivering United: Shoe to the #1 ranking! Alas; it didn't help the two-man team of Shoe & Artanix, their trios win not counted as "The Fallen" UlcaTron & Corrupt hydraslash made the climb into the Top 3 of the Duo Division stakes!

The Duo Division is set to be shaken up with the official announcement that Supercard 80: Tower of Power XVI will be for the two-man title in June! "The Service Krew" Damo & DeathScepter have been granted special placement as the #1 contenders in a chase to dethrone dominant Hall of Fame champions: Marz & Violent`J! Other teams can be expected to accelerate their efforts to earn a spot in The Tower in the coming weeks!

Poasty has also thrown his hat into the ring for a potential Division 2 Championship face-off with over qualified dominator: The Great Genku. He made his anticipated return during Friday Night Fights, picking up a safe win against xort. Recovered from injuries inflicted by Genku between events, he's being viewed as a major "Franchise" player and potential future Undisputed Champion!

Hitman Scopes Out Title Rematch

It's been quite a year for "The Hitman" DECEPTION! He stunned everyone with a surprise comeback during Battle Royale, which saw him grappling with Hall of Famer: Kron! At Supercard 75: Tower of Power XV he announced his arrival as a major player with victories over some of the hottest championship contenders in the league! At Supercard 76: Ratt in a Cage - he backed it up, completing a rise to the top with his first Undisputed Championship win!

There aren't many moments in a career that can top the thrill of a first title win, but the month after may have been the peak of DECEPTION's career, when, in the main event of Ultimate Grand Prix VI, he proved it wasn't just a fluke! Facing Battle Royale winner Kron one-on-one, DECEPTION retained his Undisputed Championship to continue to reign over a New Generation!

At Supercard 79: Purple Reign, the dream ended in a hard fought main event. After 70 days with the title, DECEPTION lost to The_Purple_Bunny in his record sixth title win! A memorable match not just for its historic outcome, but for the tenacity of DECEPTION and the closeness of the fight.

With Supercard 80: Tower of Power XVI announced to host the Duo Division Championship, it can now be confirmed that the main event of Pre-Show 80 will see The Hitman set his sights on the title once again! An Undisputed Championship rematch against The_Purple_Bunny will be a very special encounter the likes of which is rarely seen during a Pre-Show event!

June promises to be another blockbuster month in The Great Arena!

Damo & DeathScepter Named #1 Contenders

They are quite possibly the greatest team The Great Arena has ever produced! "The Service Krew" Damo & DeathScepter are a highly decorated pairing, revered for their three Duo Division Championship reigns that lasted a record 259 days and set a standard of 10 successful title defenses!

Unfortunately for them, another team has been slowly working their way into the conversation since October, 2015. "Team Xtreme" Marz & Violent`J aren't a product of The Great Arena, or The League Union. They established themselves a decade ago as one of the greatest Tag Teams of the ICWW era!

Their knowledge and experience has made Team Xtreme one of the most formidable combinations of all-time! Since arriving in The Great Arena in 2012, they've earned an almost unblemished record of 23-1-0, which has produced a Summer Olympic Gold Medal, a major Duo tournament crown, and an unrivaled 217 days as Duo Division Champions!

During this week's Friday Night Fights, Damo declared himself "The Chosen One" for the Duo Division Championship. After careful deliberation, League officials have decided The Service Krew would be the most interesting team to challenge the dominant champions. They aren't, however, going to simply gift Damo & DeathScepter a title shot!

Instead - Damo & DeathScepter will be the #1 team when ten challengers assemble to form the structure known as The Tower of Power!

It will all go down at Supercard 80: Tower of Power XVI - where the Duo Division Champions will wait at the top to meet the challenge of any one who can fight their way to them! For Damo & DeathScepter, being entered #1 will be a definite advantage, but as more teams heat up the 2-man ranks in 2016, it's anyone's opportunity to take!

Supercard 80: Tower of Power XVI will emanate from The Great Arena Sunday, June 19th!
Stay tuned to all the action in the coming weeks to find out who will form the rest of the Tower!

Friday Night Fights (May 27, 2016)

It was a Supercard-like atmosphere as Friday Night Fights prepared to play host to the first, long awaited team-up by The New Generation since Baraka_MK & Onryo became Corrupt no more! Their challengers: one of the most formidable teams the league has ever seen - the latest incarnation of The United, who hoped to bounce back from a night of defeat at Supercard 79: Purple Reign!

Friday Night Fights also saw the hotly anticipated return of Poasty! Back from injury, he faced off against xort in a by the numbers victory that was never in doubt. He was grateful to be welcomed back and vowed to be "The Franchise" to take The Great Arena into the future. With that, he made it clear that The Great Genku was responsible for putting him on the shelf - and he has every intention of settling the score! It looks like another grudge could test Genku's grip of the Division 2 Championship!

Another combination circling gold were "The Service Krew" Damo & DeathScepter. With their title defense at Supercard 79; "Team Xtreme" Marz & Violent`J were able to equal The Krew's record of ten successful title defenses. Out of contention after losing to VenoMark at the major, Damo declared himself "The Chosen One" of the Duo Division. He and DS punctuated the claim with a confident victory over Bofh & Dolce!

National pride fuelled Liam & nif in their team-up with The Invasion's Ironize. The Brits had been embroiled in in-fighting since qualifying matches for the 2016 Fighter For Europe tournament, but the conflict took a detour as "The Greek Crisis" maxilos & proXade were drawn in by ShawnMichaels [5/16/2016] and Ironize & AcidicWonder [5/23/2016]! They teamed with feisty Dez-Burnett who's had his own issues with ShawnMichaels [Pre-Show 79] and Ironize [5/20/2016]. In the end - Britannia ruled the match. Afterwards, nif repeated last week's rhetoric, saying the British fighters were "defeating themselves" by indulging Europe's frivolous, petty aggressions.

European aggression couldn't help "Portuguese Pegasus" Zentile turn his Supercard 79 upset into a win against 2016 Fighter For Europe: Nephrite! Zentile was looking to get his win back from the European First Round, but tournament winner Nephrite was once again just too good for the former Division 2 Champion! A reversal of fortunes in the case of Benjamin, who fended off attacks of Runner-Up Chromatose to stabilize his plans for Division 2 supremacy!

In the main event: DArqueBishop led The United with the intent of keeping them on the right track by reverting back to team tactics. Challenging The New Generation was a massive risk - with the crowd firmly behind the long awaited three-man reunion of recently dethroned Undisputed Champion DECEPTION, and Baraka_MK & Onryo. The result - a UGP calibre showdown that tested both teams mettle at the highest level! The tactical gambit paid off for DArqueBishop, leading the team to an immediate recovery from a night of disappointment! A spectacular battle of trios!

Alliance Targets Invasion Secret Weapon

During this week's Monday Night Invasion, Invasion figureheads ShawnMichaels and DaemonX were overheard discussing the existence of a "Secret Weapon". "The Alliance" AlbertBeefcake and The_Hurricane have since learned of the cloak & dagger conspiracy -- and they intend to destroy the weapon before it can be deployed!

Next week during Monday Night Invasion - "The Secret Weapon" SubScorpTile has been called upon to answer the challenge from AlbertBeefcake! It's a massive Monday match -- but have The Alliance targeted the right man? We'll find out next Monday - May 30th!

United Issue Major FNF Main Event Challenge!

After suffering a double defeat at Supercard 79: Purple Reign - DArqueBishop is taking an aggressive strategy in his management of The United!

He's switching tactics, taking the team back to the unified strategy that made them one of the most dangerous factions The Great Arena has ever seen. "The United" DArqueBishop, Shoe & Artanix will fight together in a main event that's been over a year in the making! For the first time since the found their way back from corruption at Pre-Show 76 - "The New Generation" DECEPTION, Baraka_MK & Onryo will fight as a unit in a main event of trios!

It's a battle worthy of a Supercard main event -- and it'll go down this week on Friday Night Fights!

Monday Night Invasion (May 23, 2016)

ShawnMichaels was drawn into the conflict with LordSkarlet's "Fallen" this week, teaming with TripleH in the main event of Monday Night Invasion! The spiritual Invasion leader attempted to right the wrong of last week's loss. Alas; the growing experience shared between UlcaTron & hydraslash was simply too strong!

The situation appeared to create tension between ShawnMichaels and his temporary stand-in DaemonX. The latter questioned the wisdom of ShawnMichaels getting distracted by other outside conflicts when The Alliance were still in possession of the KFL Championship. Michaels also ordered Ironize & AcidicWonder to take care of "The Greek Crisis" maxilos & proXade, who were back to settle the score of their loss last week. Michaels assured his counterpart that everything was under control, and he wants to see what new recruit Hokey can do before calling upon their untapped "Secret Weapon".

The former United fighter was indeed in fine form when he took on Loopster late in the night. An emphatic +4 impact showed everyone Hokey is a real threat, but after his victory against ElJobber at Supercard 79, questions over his allegiance still linger. Will Mime remain part of The Unholy Alliance with ElJobber, or is he willing to rejoin Hokey in The Invasion?

If Scott-Howell has his way - there'll be no barriers between the two. He was once again in The Great Arena under the "Howell Can Change" banner, campaigning for a resolution between the warring factions. This brought out "The Alliance" AlbertBeefcake & The_Hurricane - who have emerged as Howell's fiercest opposition. AlbertBeefcake accused Howell of being naïve and threatening The Great Arena with his pandering acceptance of The Invasion. He said The Alliance will die before they stop fighting to keep The Invasion gone.

Monday Night Invasion: Week 13 (May 23, 2016):
7. "The Fallen" UlcaTron & Corrupt hydraslash d. ShawnMichaels & TripleH [+1]
6. Hokey d. Loopster [+4]
5. DaemonX & Banging d. Rhyno & Grayback [+4]
4. Ironize & AcidicWonder d. "The Greek Crisis" maxilos & proXade [+1]
3. Jason_Voorhees d. chaos_Drone [+1]
2. "The Alliance" Jauger & PaganFreak d. MattHardy & Ghrimm [+1]

Weekly Rankings Recap - 5/22/2016

The Top 5 remain steadfast after an exciting week of action that culminated in Supercard 79: Purple ReignKnickxasawrrrr joined the incapacitated list after succumbing to an uncomfortably one sided Iron Man Death Match. His challenge kept Mime strong in third position, ending what's been one of the longest running feuds of the year!

There were interesting twists and turns within the Duo Division. The return of LordSkarlet as leader of "The Fallen" seems to have given a boost to Corrupt UlcaTron & Corrupt hydraslash! Their recent rash of success has pushed them all the way up to #4! Right behind them - one of the premier teams chasing championship contention: "The New Generation" Baraka_MK & Onryo! Their victory over #2 team Jammer2Omega & Porygonix balanced out their pal DECEPTION's bitter defeat for the Undisputed Championship.

As exciting as it was to see The_Purple_Bunny make history as the first ever six-time champion -- it was the Division 2 stakes that really shook things up in the rankings! The Great Genku's Grand Path finally leading him back to the Top 10! Benjamin's warpath back to the Div.2 title has been a mostly fruitful exercise, but at Supercard 79 "Portuguese Pegasus" Zentile reminded just how dangerous a challenger he can be!

Despite a disappointing week in Duo action, "American Dream" Scott-Howell returned to the Top 10. His "Howell Can Change" campaign to settle conflict between factions hasn't resolved tensions between The Alliance and The Invasion, but its helped him to some valuable victories!

Supercard 79: Purple Reign

2016 has seen the long awaited dawn of The New Generation. The rising of DECEPTION at Ultimate Grand Prix VI, a signal that he and his kin are in control of the league. The first-time champion surprised everyone with his rapid arrival, but he erased all doubt as he toppled conquerors and legends. His newest challenger should have had the psychological advantage, but instead, it is he who is believed an underdog. The_Purple_Bunny is one of the greatest grand champions there has ever been! There isn't much he hasn't achieved in his stellar career, but the lure of making history as the first-ever six-time Undisputed Champion excites even him! So is the quest for a... Purple Reign!

14. The_Purple_Bunny defeated "The Hitman" DECEPTION (c) in a solid, history making win! [+1] [Undisputed Championship]
The crowd was electric as the #1 contender and Undisputed Champion prepared to face off. It was a match that felt like months in the making! The_Purple_Bunny may be regarded was one of the greatest champions of all-time, but the rise of "The Hitman" DECEPTION had come with some impressive wins against Kron and ElJobber - the cream of the crop, and on the biggest stage of all! In the minds of most, 2016 had been the drawn of The New Generation! The only problem with that philosophy, the opportunity to write history again as the first ever six-time Undisputed Champion! It was enough to spur The_Purple_Bunny on to one of his best performances all year! DECEPTION looked incredibly strong as he battled for another impressive main event win, but TPB eked out a solid win to live up to the name on the banner! The Purple Reign begins now for a sixth-time!

13. "Team Xtreme" Marz & Violent`J (c) defeated "The United" Shoe & Artanix in a comprehensive title defense! [+2] [Duo Division Championship]
Anticipation for the Duo Division Championship match was at UGP main event levels! Excitement surrounding "The United" Shoe & Artanix exploded after their victory at Tournament 66! The question everyone was daring to ask: Could the management of DArqueBishop be the masterstroke to dethrone undefeatable Hall of Fame champions: "Team Xtreme" Marz & Violent`J? In a career of 23 Great Arena matches - only one team had ever blemished their record! And despite the intense wave of belief -- Shoe & Artanix didn't spoil the streak! It was another unfathomable coming together by Duo Division specialists. Calling upon their years of experience in ICWW, the champions put on a clinic. The United were far from embarrassed, but the clinical excellence of Team Xtreme could not be denied. Their win extends the championship reign to 211 days straight, with a record equalling 10 successful defenses. Something for "The Service Krew" Damo & DeathScepter to think about!

12. Ratt & NightHawk defeated "Guardians of the Crow" Pink_Ranger & Ghostdragon in a comprehensive result. [+1]
Unseen since his Iron Man Death Match with Crow at Ultimate Grand Prix VI; Ratt and NightHawk were finally making a return to finish the job against "Guardians of the Crow" Pink_Ranger & Ghostdragon! They had plenty of motivation to call upon after a year filled with derailment at the hands of the cult-like group. Indeed, it was a comprehensive victory for the legendary duo who held nothing back in their return collaboration! The Tournament 66 Runners-Up might have troubled any other team, but against the Hall of Famer and his pal it just wasn't enough!

11. Hokey defeated ElJobber [+1]
While Mime dealt with the brutality of the Iron Man Death Match, his two would-be Duo Division allies finally came to blows! Mime had attempted to balance his two teams into a single dominant unit at the 2016 Spring Classic, but the bad blood between ElJobber and Hokey goes all the way back to their title clash at Supercard 74: Battle Royale! It was inevitable that their animosity would boil over! At Supercard 79 - it did just that! Hokey was the one to get payback for his Undisputed Championship loss at Battle Royale -- a match that inadvertently led to his being fired from The United! The question of whether or not this also ends The Unholy Alliance between ElJobber & Mime will remain!

10. Mime defeated Knickxasawrrrr in a dominant devastation! [-1up] [Iron Man Death Match]
Earlier in the year, Knickxasawrrrr just wanted to bring UlcaTron back from the Corruption that plagued him since the 2015 KFL season. When he and his brother's initial efforts failed, m0s quit [4/8/2016] - sending "Y2K" into a downward spiral of madness! His obsession with long time rival Mime saw repeated erratic attacks! Not satisfied with inflicting +10 impact [5/6/2016], he struck again on Friday the 13th, tasting yet another defeat. Disillusioned and with no plan or support, he issued a final challenge - an Iron Man Death Match! It's a match type that shortens careers and changes lives! Knickxasawrrrr's dire sacrifice - pointless and unnecessary, in the end. Against Mime, he found a superior opponent. As the minutes ticked by, Mime's domination over the match grew. No matter how wild Knickxasawrrrr's attacks, Mime could always be relied upon to stabilize the situation. After 17 minutes, Knickxasawrrrr was defeated. A brutal end to an uncomfortably one-sided affair!

9. "The Fallen" LordSkarlet defeated "The Predator" TonyTheTiger [+1]
The once winless LordSkarlet is a changed man. Returning on the May 9th Monday Night Invasion, he left TripleH decimated! Revealing himself as "Fallen", he lead his Corrupt allies UlcaTron & hydraslash to another victory on Friday Night Fights [5/13/2016]! His ultimate target? The one who cost him his big moment at Ultimate Grand Prix VI - "The Predator" TonyTheTiger! It was the upstart performance of TTT that electrified onlookers during this year's UGP Battle Royal - a match LordSkarlet was widely expected to win after being Runner-Up in the 2016 Battle Royale! This time - it was all LordSkarlet! His freefall into an undefeated streak has his record improved to 3-9 for this year! A turn around it's hard not to be impressed by, even if his attitude has taken a dark turn.

8. VenoMark defeated "The Chosen One" Damo in convincing fashion! [+2]
Believing his own hype, "The Chosen One" Damo has been chasing the Undisputed Championship with considerable bravado. On the May 6th Friday Night Fights, he goaded VenoMark into a compromising loss. At Pre-Show 79, the taunts continued as Damo called upon his legendary partner DeathScepter to get one over on VenoMark again! At the end of his rope, VenoMark walked into Supercard 79 with a purpose! He left nothing to chance, unleashing all of his aggressions on the self-proclaimed "Chosen One". In doing so, he reaffirms his position as one of the premier contenders eyeing off the Undisputed Championship!

7. "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile defeated United: DArqueBishop in a comprehensive win! [+4]
An altercation between United: Shoe and CaTigeReptile ignited quickly at the end of April [4/29/2016]. Fearing the distraction could hurt his team's chances for Duo Division gold, The United's manager DArqueBishop issued a challenge to keep CTR from his star. The gambit created the distance he sought, but it's up for debate if it paid off! CaTigeReptile took the opportunity to flex her muscles against the manager, scoring a comprehensive win!

6. "The New Generation" Baraka_MK & Onryo defeated Jammer2Omega & Porygonix [+1]
They've been two of the most exciting teams in the 2016 Duo Division ranks - both on the fast track to championship success! They each reached the Semi Final of Tournament 66, narrowly missing the opportunity to face each other in the deciding match. Instead, Supercard 79 would be their first meeting! A historic clash that lived up to all expectations! Both teams were fierce and competitive. Neither was willing to surrender an inch. In the end, "The New Generation" Baraka_MK & Onryo must have had the slight edge in experience to best their up-and-coming opponents! For Jammer2Omega & Porygonix, it was far from a loss. They've once again proven they can go toe-to-toe with the best teams in the league. Still a relative new pairing, they walk away wiser with the respect of The New Generation!

5. Sekktor & legoslayer10 defeated "The Fallen" Corrupt UlcaTron & Corrupt hydraslash [+1]
The unprovoked attacks started on April 15th. One month later, on Friday the 13th, the puppet master behind Corrupt UlcaTron & Corrupt hydraslash revealed himself. Now they are "The Fallen" - swayed to LordSkarlet's callous attack on everything he once stood for! With everything finally in the open, Sekktor & legoslayer10 could start to understand their enemy! The fortunes of Supercard 78 were reversed, allowing LordSkarlet's former friends to overcome his Corrupt new allies! A good win, but a hollow victory that won't rescue their friend from his vicious fall from grace.

4. The Great Genku (c) defeated "The Secret Weapon" SubScorpTile in a comprehensive victory! [+4] [Division 2 Championship]
It was back on April 4th that The Great Genku quietly set about starting his Grand Path to Greatness with a devastating defeat of "The Secret Weapon" SubScorpTile! What turned out to be a Division 2 Championship winning course for Genku was a major setback for former champion SST. The Secret Weapon dug deep, earning comeback victories over Jesseman [5/2/2016], Zentile [5/6/2016] & edge [5/13/2016]. Finally, his story could be told. and a rematch with Genku booked with the title on the line. Alas; the fairy tale ending SST was hoping for did not come true. This time, defeat came without a decimating blow, but The Secret Weapon failed. The win keeps Genku in the hot seat as Div.2 fighters line-up to be the one to take down the dominant champ!

3. "The Alliance" AlbertBeefcake & The_Hurricane defeated CCShadow & Scott-Howell in a close fought campaign crusher! [+1]
For the past few weeks, "American Dream" Scott-Howell has been campaigning for change to bring stability to a Great Arena divided! His "Howell Can Change" message has been a fixture of Monday Night Invasion, where he found surprising opposition from not from The Invasion, but rather, Alliance leader AlbertBeefcake! The Alliance don't want anything to do with The Invasion - and they made that clear with a close fought victory over Howell & CCShadow! It was a surprise upset against one of the league's top veteran teams - but will it end the campaign for unity? Tomorrow's Monday Night Invasion should illuminate the situation.

2. "Portuguese Pegasus" Zentile defeated Benjamin in a solid upset! [+3]
A string of recent defeats has had "Portuguese Pegasus" Zentile hungry for a way back to the Division 2 Championship! He was a first round exit in the 2016 Fighter For Europe tournament, but under the spotlight of Supercard 79, it was his May 13th opponent he was out for payback against! Benjamin has been in fine form, beating several of the top Div.2 contenders, including Zentile and European Champion: Nephrite. Zentile found another gear, making the most of his opportunity.

1. Politics & Menas defeated NosajSamoht & Shinnokxz in a comfortable result. [+1]
If NosajSamoht & Shinnokxz thought they were going to turn the tables on their Tournament 66 opponents at Supercard79 - they were sorely mistaken. Politics & Menas continued to come into their own, absolutely comfortable in their defeat of the challenging team. The winning pair will look ahead to bigger and better things with rumors of a Duo Division Tower of Power on the horizon.

Friday Night Fights (May 20, 2016)

Friday Night Fights had a distinctly European flavour as the 2016 Fighters For Europe returned to feature in a special edition! Just days ahead of Supercard 79: Purple Reign, the European fighters entertained all as they clashed with the standard players of FNF. The exhibition was mostly cordial, but tensions begun with European Qualification continued between some of the British fighters!

Spinning out of the May 6th qualifying match; Liam & nif took the fight to Leroy and his longtime buddy Mark! Their aggression paid off as Liam & nif got the drop on their opponents, picking up a valuable duo division win. After the match, nif declared they were "defeating themselves" by fighting amongst themselves for European qualification and FNF triviality. He said the British fighters should have pride and be fighting together on Supercards! Leroy seemed unconvinced.

There was more British turmoil as Dez-Burnett attempted to score a win back from Ironize. The Invasion fighter had qualified for the European tournament on May 9th - the same Monday Dez-Burnett lost his. He tried to win back qualification by challenging Ironize on May 13th, but came up short. Try as he might, "The Rising Star" remained earthbound - unable to overcome Ironize!

2016 Fighter For Europe Nephrite encountered another snag as he was confronted by Benjamin in the main event. The American has been chasing glory ever since losing the Division 2 Championship and it came through a hotly contested win over the Croatian Euro challenger! Adding further insult to injury: Runner-Up Chromatose managed a confident win against Benjamin's Supercard 79 opponent - "Portuguese Pegasus" Zentile! A shot fired across the entire division!

Perhaps the most intriguing and unexpected result of the European special - Estonian enigma Sgtf unloading on an unprepared EasterBunny! A powerful performance left the Dutch EasterBunny utterly destroyed - a +12 rated impact a shock from Sgtf!

The action continues this weekend as the biggest names converge on Supercard 79: Purple Reign! The New Generation rule of DECEPTION will be challenged once more when The_Purple_Bunny aims to claim his record sixth reign as Undisputed Champion! Ratt returns this weekend, "The Fallen" LordSkarlet will be back in action, VenoMark looks for payback, and "Portuguese Pegasus" Zentile must regroup to challenge Benjamin! All this and more - Sunday, May 22nd! Catch-up on the full card announcement and make sure you're here for the massive result!

Full Supercard 79 Card Announcement

It's set to be another massive weekend as The Great Arena plays host to a blockbuster event in Supercard 79: Purple Reign! While The_Purple_Bunny attempts to claim his record setting sixth Undisputed Championship in the main event, there'll be a tonne of other action bursting out of an undercard so big - it's unbelievable it's all being announced now!

Somehow they managed to work together at the Spring Classic, but the animosity between ElJobber and Hokey will finally reach breaking point! The Unholy Alliance may be broken as ElJobber lashes out at Hokey for monopolizing and exploiting the time of Mime! Where will the man in the middle be during this explosive confrontation? Knickxasawrrrr will take his mad obsession with Mime and The Unholy Alliance to extreme when he challenges Mime to an Iron Man Death Match! Will it be payback for driving his brother m0s out of the league - or an act of self-sacrifice with no point at all?

"The Fallen" LordSkarlet will have a clear point when he challenges "The Predator" TonyTheTiger to a grudge match spinning directly out of Ultimate Grand Prix VI! LS blames Tony for his fall from grace and will get a chance to keep his winning ways going at TTT's expense! Meanwhile, his allies Corrupt UlcaTron & Corrupt hydraslash will lash out at friends turned foes: Sekktor & legoslayer10! Two emotionally charged battles for the price of one feud!

The emotion fuelling VenoMark to challenge "The Chosen One" Damo will be simple - rage! The self-proclaimed top contender derailed VenoMark's campaign toward the Undisputed Championship on the May 6th edition of Friday Night Fights. The barbs continued with a Duo Division challenge at Pre-Show 79. Now VenoMark will attempt to set the record straight - one-on-one with his nemesis!

Payback will be on the agenda for "The Secret Weapon" SubScorpTile when he finally completes his pursuit of Division 2 Champion: The Great Genku. Nobody realized what was unfolding when Genku staged an unexpected +27 assault on the April 4th Monday Night Invasion. The win helped him leverage an unexpected Grand Slam completing Div.2 title win on April 29 - a dream stolen from SST by the devastating defeat! After weeks of clawing his way back, he's finally earned his shot at the title he so desires, and the nemesis who took it away!

SST's story will be relatable to Zentile & Benjamin as they engaged in a rematch of their Friday Night Fights encounter [5/13/2016]! The former Div.2 Champions are fighting to find their way back to the same gold that Genku claimed for his own. Benjamin had the better of the Portuguese Pegasus, but a Supercard win could quickly turn the tables in the European fighter's favor!

PLUS: An exciting contention clash between two of the hot young duos "The New Generation" Baraka_MK & Onryo against rising stars Jammer2Omega & Porygonix! Fierce opposition to the "Howell Can Change" campaign will spur "The Alliance" AlbertBeefcake & The_Hurricane to make might with right against CCShadow & Scott-Howell! And fallout from Tournament 66 will see NosajSamoht & Shinnokxz seek retribution against Politics & Menas!

An unbelievable spectacle unfolds - this weekend! Don't you dare miss it!

Rattamania Returns - This Weekend!

He hasn't been seen in action since Ultimate Grand Prix VI, where he competed in a gruelling Iron Man Death Match that sent Crow back to obscurity! Now the Hall of Fame legend is preparing for a Supercard 79 return where he intends to finish the job!

That's right! Rattamania will run wild in The Great Arena once again - and he's bringing his tenacious friend NightHawk along for the ride!

They were bedevilled by Crow and his allies since late last year. It was a feud that resulted in the temporary sidelining of NightHawk after he was repeatedly targeted in callous attacks! Now the fan favourite combination are healed up and ready to take the fight back to "Guardians of the Crow" Pink_Ranger & Ghostdragon!

It's all part of a massive Supercard 79 happening this Sunday - May 22nd! Stay tuned for a full card announcement as we count down to the next big event!

Monday Night Invasion (May 16, 2016)

Despite the Championship power struggle coming down in their favor at Pre-Show 79; The Alliance had a minimal presence on a Monday Night Invasion riddled with new threats! Only Jauger & PaganFreak appeared, scoring payback against MattHardy & Ghrimm for their Pre-Show loss. That was just the tip of the iceberg, though!

Still smarting from a devastating beating last week - TripleH teamed with Jericho to try to get one back against "The Fallen" LordSkarlet! Instead TripleH provoked an appearance by his Corrupt agents! The unity of UlcaTron & hydraslash was simply too strong for a first-time pairing! It wasn't the +24 annihilation suffered last week, but another galling loss for the once undefeated fighter, never the less.

ShawnMichaels had better luck settling a score with his Fighter For Europe opponent. The recently returned Invasion figurehead teamed with his default replacement DaemonX, making a formidable force in a main event take down of "The Greek Crisis" maxilos & proXade. It was proXade who showed signs of an upstart performance, eliminating Michaels as a representative of Greece. One might say The Invasion is bigger than borders, but don't tell that to The Greek Crisis!

Top ranked Invasion fighter Banging was hot just twenty-four hours after his comprehensive loss to KFL Champion Statix. He channeled that fire into a clash with up-and-coming contender Loopster, showing there's still plenty of fight in him! Banging did what Statix did to him - unloading a +6 impact on Loopster! Who'll next challenge for the KFL title seems to be up in the air, but a big win for Invasion recruit Hokey could start a conversation within the ranks!

A couple of fighters who probably won't be in that conversation are The_Rock & KurtAngle. They attempted to jump "American Dream" Scott-Howell as he continued his "Howell Can Change" campaign in spite of objection from members of The Invasion and The Alliance! His enthusiasm was too much for the ambush duo. A sign for change? To be determined.

Monday Night Invasion: Week 12 (May 16, 2016):
8. ShawnMichaels & DaemonX d. "The Greek Crisis" maxilos & proXade [+1]
7. Banging d. Loopster [+6]
6. "The Fallen" Corrupt UlcaTron & Corrupt hydraslash d. TripleH & Jericho [+2]

Weekly Rankings Recap - 5/15/2016

A massive week in The Great Arena pushed a whole new class of "names to watch" into the spotlight, leaving the top of the ranks stable - but on notice! It was all thanks to a stacked weekend that capped weekly Monday Night Invasion and Friday Night Fights with a double header of the 2016 Fighter For Europe tournament, and Pre-Show 79!

The big mover was Mime, whose susceptibility to repeat attacks from a crazed Knickxasawrrrr helped him pick up another win on Friday. Banging's play for the top of the ranks backfired on Sunday thanks to a dominant performance by defending KFL Champion: Statix. The champ stays steady at the centre of the Invasion/Alliance struggle, an outlier in the major ranks.

Corrupt UlcaTron & Corrupt hydraslash emerged as a fresh threat in the Duo Division stakes. They come as a package deal with newly returned LordSkarlet, whose minting as "The Fallen" has quickly started a turnaround of his 2016 record: 2-9 after this week. With his Corrupt allies rising to #6 in the Duo Division Top 10, it could be a recipe for success for all parties!

Fighter For Europe winner Nephrite missed out on Division 2 gold, but firmly plants himself back in the action. Runner-up Chromatose, also worth consideration. Former champion Benjamin had the best luck, keeping himself in the hunt for a title he never expected to lose!

Pre-Show 79: Gold = Power

A UGP rematch set up a scintillating main event as reigning KFL Champion Statix returned to defend the title against his former Pacific Connection partner Banging and new Invasion #1 Contender! It was one of two title matches on a Pre-Show aptly titled Gold = Power!

The 2016 Fighter For Europe was given just one night to recover from the gruelling elimination tournament and prepare himself for an even bigger challenge! The Great Genku is a calibre of competitor rarely seen within the Division 2 ranks. A seasoned 2-time Undisputed Champion, he was brought to the secondary belt by a Grand Path to Greatness. Nephrite had long odds to go up against that on such short notice - but that didn't stop him trying! Remarkably, Genku appeared to be taking the Pre-Show lightly and the signs of an upset victory were all there! Alas; the champ held his ground, calling upon years of experience to fend off a valiant effort from Nephrite!

The same excitement couldn't be found in the KFL Championship. At UGP6, Statix had done just enough to defeat his turncoat former partner and bring the gold to The Alliance. This time he was leaving no doubt! Banging languished as the champ unleashed a heavyweight offensive that gave him nowhere to go! The arrogance of The Invasion and their #1 contender left them prone to an embarrassment. Their claim to total control over Monday Nights showing a shred of doubt with The Alliance still clinging to the power of the coveted gold!

The Invasion were all over Pre-Show 79, picking up a mixed bag of results. Spiritual figurehead ShawnMichaels fended off the aggressions of Dez-Burnett, who missed out on representing Great Britain in the Fighter For Europe tournament after Michaels took his qualifying spot [5/9/2016]. GBR qualifiers also led Ironize & AcidicWonder to suffer a defeat in a three-way duo battle also involving fellow Brits Liam, nif and Leroy! ShawnMichaels' interim replacement DaemonX had similar bad fortune, falling to The_Hurricane - an old nemesis and Alliance fighter. The_Rock & KurtAngle were also sorely outclassed as CCShadow & Scott-Howell fought off their challenge to Howell's controversial campaign for change. MattHardy & Ghrimm faired better against The Alliance.

True to their mantra, The Invasion were fighting amongst themselves, as well. Loopster made his case for KFL Championship contention a little stronger with a big win against a still rattled TripleH! The trio of Shen_DuHBK, Jason_Voorhees & edge also maintaining strength in numbers.

In the biggest team bout of the night, "The Service Krew" Damo & DeathScepter reunited to cause more headaches for hopeful challenger VenoMark and his pal MKR! Just as he had on the May 6th Friday Night Fights; "The Chosen One" Damo goaded VenoMark into a bitter defeat - declaring himself destined to challenge for the Undisputed Championship! A prospect that only inspired greater rage in VenoMark!

Pre-Show 79: Gold = Power (May 15, 2016):
12. Statix (c) d. Banging [+6] [KFL Championship]
11. "The Service Krew" Damo & DeathScepter d. VenoMark & MKR [+1]
10. The Great Genku (c) d. Nephrite [+1] [Division 2 Championship]
9. CCShadow & Scott-Howell d. "The Invasion" The_Rock & KurtAngle [+1]

6. Bofh & Dolce d. Maridany & TheMetinPorta [+1]

Tournament 67: 2016 Fighter For Europe

The complexion of the tournament was completely different as two warriors from some domains filled out a full bracket. Cukier had the distinction of not only participating as the second Polish selection for 2016, but also making his competitive league debut! Experience - a big issue, as European history seemed destined to rule the present!

From minute go, 2-time Fighter For Europe Chromatose was the firm favourite. His +3 domination of maxilos a warning shot that echoed his tournament victories in 2015 & 2014! The only fighter to match Chromatose for ferocity in the First Round was proXade - the other half of The Greek Crisis!

Round 2 saw Chromatose again exact a +3 devastation upon his opponent, this time against Bulgarian Asesino! He was outdone by forgotten 2013 Fighter For Europe Nephrite with an upstart +4 impact against the Netherlands' EasterBunny. A louder declaration that proXade's second win, but given his opponent was recently returned Invasion figurehead ShawnMichaels - no more significant!

In the Semi Finals, Nephrite ensured proXade would not effect a Greek Crisis through the whole tournament. Their battle went down to the wire, but proXade simply lacked the necessary experience to overcome the Croatian. Experience was evident in Chromatose's third consecutive +3 impact - Sgtf of Estonia the unlucky victim.

The fairy tale put aside, it was to be a final contest between former champions - European dominators of the field! For Nephrite, the past year had seen a slide into obscurity - a faded shooting star. For two-time champion Chromatose, it was about defending his title and again earning the right to be Division 2 Champion. His years of dominance gave him everything he needed, but Chromatose's expertise was wasted against the raw dynamism of the Croatian! Nephrite sprung to life like he hadn't the whole tournament! He unleashed the fullest of his strength, overwhelming Chromatose in a single moment of brilliance!

With his victory, Nephrite goes down in history as the greatest European fighter of 2016. More importantly, he faces the test and privilege of challenging for the Division 2 Championship! The title bout happens tomorrow - May 15th! There waits an opponent unlike any Nephrite faced from Europe! Ordinarily The Great Genku would be fighting for the Undisputed Championship! Instead, the Grand Path to Greatness has taken him down this road - to be the ultimate test for the Division 2 fighters! Recovery time will be minimal. The glory of victory - great! It all goes down tomorrow at Pre-Show 79: Gold = Power!

Tournament 67: 2016 Fighter For Europe - Round 1:

Friday Night Fights (May 13, 2016)

A bad moon hung over The Great Arena as Friday Night Fights took place on Friday the 13th! It seemed as if there was a touch of lunacy in the air affecting a great many! That said, nothing could be more shocking than the main event return of LordSkarlet!

As promised during the week: LS returned to face his concerned friends Sekktor & legoslayer10. He also called out "The Predator" TonyTheTiger and explained to the trio that he was a "Redeemer" no more. He spoke of the death of the KFL, and the time he wasted fighting to redeem it in 2015. He said his 0-9 record just proved it was all for nothing. His loss at Ultimate Grand Prix VI - the final revelation he needed to become greater. He summoned Corrupt UlcaTron & Corrupt hydraslash and revealed himself as the reason for the attacks that started on April 15th, and continued against TonyTheTiger on April 29th, Sekktor & legoslayer10 on May 6th, and The Invasion May 9th!

The one-time "Redeemer" said it sickened him to see Sekktor & legoslayer10 become a new team in his absence. So he took "Lucifer's Ladder" and he gave their corruption a new purpose. Now he is "Fallen" and they are unstoppable! With that, the trio unleashed a united attack on the unsuspecting, impromptu trio of TonyTheTiger, Sekktor & legoslayer10! A bombshell beat down to end FNF!

The Friday 13th edition of FNF saw several challenges lead to unexpected match-ups. The Invasion's Jason_Voorhees took the opportunity to challenge The Great Genku to an impromptu Division 2 Championship -- suffering for being so bold with a +24 rated annihilation!

Jason wasn't the only Invasion fighter in action on Union territory. Dez-Burnett challenged fellow Briton Ironize in an attempt to win back qualification into tomorrow's 2016 Fighter For Europe contest! Burnett earned qualification last week, but lost his spot when a returning ShawnMichaels was granted a challenge during Monday Night Invasion [5/9/2016]! It was a hard fought match, but sadly, Ironize was simply too strong for the eternal "Rising Star"!

Also in action: Knickxasawrrrr threw himself at Mime in another mad rage, not content with his victory last week. This time Mime knocked him back without trouble. "The Secret Weapon" SubScorpTile was also comfortable fending off The Invasion's edge, who thought he could keep the hot Div.2 Contender busy while his friend scored an impromptu shot. Former champion Benjamin did just as well to fend off "Portuguese Pegasus" Zentile, who can still win himself a shortcut to the Division 2 Championship at this weekend's Pre-Show 79: Gold = Power if he wins Tournament 67: 2016 Fighter For Europe - tomorrow, May 14th!

DArque Challenge for Guardian

Many have criticized his decision to fire longtime member Hokey last month, but The United's new manager DArqueBishop has inarguably produced results!

Under DAB's guidance; United duo Shoe & Artanix recently went on to win Tournament 66, and are now official #1 contenders to the coveted Duo Division Championships! The 2-man title is one of the hardest challenges in the league right now, held firmly by Hall of Fame legends Marz & Violent`J! To beat them, Shoe & Artanix will have to be at the top of their game - and that's led DArqueBishop to get involved!

"The Guardian" CaTigeReptile took exception to comments made by Shoe, leading to an altercation on the April 29th edition of Friday Night Nights that left Shoe worse for wear! Tensions are rumored to be lingering, and the last thing DAB wants for his championship duo is any kind of distraction. That's why the United Manager is challenging CaTigeReptile to a battle at Supercard 79!

DArqueBishop's limited time in The Great Arena means its anybody's guess what to expect from the unexpected challenge! It's just another exciting moment on an already big night for The United as they look to reclaim Duo Division gold!

Supercard 79: Purple Reign (May 22nd, 2016):
- The_Purple_Bunny versus "The Hitman" DECEPTION (c) [Undisputed Championship]
- "The United" Shoe & Artanix versus "Team Xtreme" Marz & Violent`J (c) [Duo Division Championship]
- United: DArqueBishop versus "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile

Pre-Show 79: Gold = Power (May 15th, 2016):
- Banging versus Statix (c) [KFL Championship]
- [Tournament 67 Winner] versus The Great Genku (c) [Division 2 Championship]

LordSkarlet Has Fallen - The Return

It was supposed to be one of the feel good stories of 2016. After a tumultuous star making run during the 2015 KFL Season, "The Redeemer" LordSkarlet was earmarked for big things in 2016! He'd won wars, ousted rulers, and won the KFL Championship for a fourth and fifth reign. It seemed anything was possible for one of the brightest stars in the league!

LordSkarlet was chosen to represent The Union of The League during the ceremonial January 1st event of New Year's Resolution. He eliminated The Baron of Conquest during the Survivor Sequence five-on-five, but succumbed to council member Ares Mensclich (aka; The Baron of War) in both singles and team competition. The experience hardly had any effect as LordSkarlet bounced back, exceeding already high expectations by becoming Runner-Up of the 2016 Battle Royale match!

With a Tower of Power Championship event looming in February, LordSkarlet was positioned #3 on the contender's ladder. The milestone Tower of Power XV seemed destined to be the proving ground for the up and comer, but that day belonged to another fan-favourite rising through the ranks - "The Hitman" DECEPTION!

The hits kept coming, eventually leading to another defeat against a hungry The_Purple_Bunny at Supercard 76: Ratt in a Cage! Suddenly, "The Redeemer" LordSkarlet found himself fast approaching UGP without a single win to his name! An announcement for the annual UGP Battle Royal offered the perfect path to redemption -- a match designed just like the one that catapulted him out of January!

With the world watching, the fates gifted LordSkarlet the ultimate entry into the 5th Annual UGP Battle Royal -- the final spot of #30! On the grandest stage of them all, LordSkarlet was rising to the occasion in the match that launched the likes of Ratt, Violent`JThe Great Genku to Undisputed Championship reigns and Hall of Fame status! Until he ran into another unstoppable rising force called "The Predator" TonyTheTiger and LordSkarlet suffered his ninth consecutive loss in a match most believed he was favourite to win!

In the wake of Ultimate Grand Prix VI - "The Redeemer" disappeared.

For weeks, LordSkarlet's friends and KFL allies legoslayer10 and Sekktor fought on - wondering what had happened to their friend. Once, the trio fought in the trenches of the KFL, overcoming the odds to eliminate m0s and reshape the year of 2015! Now LordSkarlet was gone without a trace. Until now...

After one month in exile - LordSkarlet returned without warning during the May 9th edition of Monday Night Invasion! He picked up his first win over 2016, absolutely annihilating the man who took an undefeated streak to a KFL Championship shot - TripleH! The +24 impact stunned everyone watching! This wasn't the same LordSkarlet. He was more aggressive - more vicious! Uncaring as he dominated a man who just one week earlier was chasing the same dream LordSkarlet once had - the title!

LordSkarlet has made it known he will return once more during this week's Friday Night Fights. He's sent a message to his friends that he will explain more then. For now, we can only wonder and hope that the much needed win is the beginning of a new start for LordSkarlet!

Full Tournament 67 European Draw

With the British Qualifiers done and dusted, we now have the complete draw for the 2016 Fighter For Europe tournament! Ironize qualified on the May 9th Monday Night Invasion, where Invasion figurehead ShawnMichaels was also able to upset May 6th Friday Night Fights qualifier Dez-Burnett -- stealing his spot! The full draw is as follows:

Tournament 67: 2016 Fighter For Europe (May 15th, 2016):
1. Asesino (BLG) versus Red_Spaniard (ESP)

This is the first European Tournament to feature multiple representatives from some countries, eliminating the need for randomized byes in the first round! Great Britain, Poland and Greece will have two fighters in representation.

The annual Fighter For Europe tournament began in 2012 and has been reprised every subsequent year. Since 2014, the tournament winner has been granted a Division 2 Championship match some time after their victory. For the last two years Chromatose has dominated the event!

Monday Night Invasion (May 9, 2016)

A surprising edition of Monday Night Invasion threw up some curve balls ahead of this weekend's title bout Pre-Show 79! With the KFL Champion and #1 Contender taking it easy, several other stars came to the fore - not the least of which was a returning Invasion icon: ShawnMichaels!

ShawnMichaels wasn't the only return on the stacked edition of Invasion. After a month in exile, "The Redeemer" LordSkarlet made an impact with his return to active competition - dominating last week's KFL Championship challenger TripleH! The once undefeated Invasion fighter was utterly dominated by LordSkarlet, whose whereabouts has been unknown since a devastating loss at Ultimate Grand Prix VI!

The Invasion's spiritual leader has been on the sidelines ever since his Steel Cage Match loss at the Spring Classic. He made an unannounced return on Monday, goading Dez-Burnett into putting his British qualification for the upcoming European Tournament on the line! The gambit paid dividends as ShawnMichaels overcame his injuries to undo Dez-Burnett's May 6th qualification victory!

Several nations will submit two fighters into this year's European Tournament, but only Great Britain was forced to determine their selections through two qualifying bouts. In the second match, Ironize managed to build up steam over his Duo partner AcidicWonder to take out Liam in qualification! That means two Invasion stars will represent the UK as they face the greatest fighters from across Europe in a special Saturday event - May 14th! The winner will receive a Division 2 Championship match on the following May 15th Pre-Show!

Ironize's win was all the more miraculous considering he was forced to do double duty, entering the qualification battle immediately after suffering an upset loss to The Alliance combination of Jauger & PaganFreak! It was a solid win for PaganFreak, who lost his powerhouse partner Oozaru after he controversially walked out on the team! It was also the only win for The Alliance, whose leader AlbertBeefcake became embroiled in a heated clash with "American Dream" Scott-Howell! Howell's campaign for change got under the Beefer's skin, prompting the impromptu clash.

While Europe prepares to do battle, "King of the World" Ken secured his throne in a grudge match against Aussie Invader Loopster! In a rematch of last week's upset, the King restored order to his kingdom with a convincing victory over the upstart challenger!

Monday Night Invasion: Week 11 (May 9, 2016):
8. ShawnMichaels d. Dez-Burnett [+1] [Great Britain European Qualifier]
7. King Ken d. Loopster [+1]
6. Jason_Voorhees & edge d. Rhyno & Grayback [+1]
5. "American Dream" Scott-Howell d. AlbertBeefcake [+2]

Friday Night Fights (May 6, 2016)

The tension could be cut with a knife as Friday Night Fights arrived brimming with expectation! A Division 2 Championship main event had all eyes looking forward to the end of the night, but there would be plenty of action leading up to Benjamin's grudge fuelled rematch!

"The Chosen One" Damo emerged to call out would-be title challenger VenoMark! Responding to VenoMark's argument for contention last week [4/29/2016], Damo said he's won some impressive matches but he simply isn't The Chosen One. Damo goaded VenoMark into a match, which he was clearly prepared for. A bloodless comprehensive result shut VenoMark down, but left him fuming and fit to fight another day!

"The Secret Weapon" SubScorpTile had a similar tense face-off with "Portuguese Pegasus" Zentile over their mutual desire to challenge for the Division 2 Championship! The former champs locked up, but it was The Secret Weapon who took total control over the match! His desire for payback against Genku fuelled a strong performance.

Dez-Burnett defeated two of the other best British competitors in the league. They met in a three-way battle to determine one of the two representatives who will enter this year's annual Fighter For Europe tournament. A second representative will be determined during next week's Monday Night Invasion!

In the main event, Benjamin came in hot with the hopes of correcting the result from last week's unexpected title change! Instead, he found himself even worse off! The Great Genku dominated the former Div.2 Champion, devastating him with a disdainful +6 impact!
