IWWF/ICWW: Worlds Collide

September 29th - IWWF/ICWW: Worlds Collide
Throughout history men have theorised that there are infinite realities in which various possible decisions are played out. Where the unreal can exist. Where what could have been is. These two realms of matter cannot occupy the same space, but if these worlds collide no one can know the outcome...
... there can be nothing between - this is what it's like when worlds collide.

Tag team title hardcore tag match
Ironize & Acidic Wonder (c) d. Twizted One & Shane-Man

In the big tag team championship match Ironize & Acidic Wonder took on the unusual combination of the Twizted One and Shane-Man. Ironize started off with Twizted taking him down with the ever popular Lou Thesz press. Twizted One showed grit with a dandy Samoan drop. The first tag of the night was made by the dazed Ironize, as Acidic Wonder made his way into the match, nailing Twizted with a mean flapjack. Shane-Man got into the match with some high risk moves, nailing the Wonder with a nice elbow drop in the center of the ring. The Twizted One and Ironize made their ways back into the ring. Under the hardcore rules Twizted legally nailed Ironize with a chair retrieved from the outside, busting Ironize wide open. Ironize hit the exclamation marc, and went for the cover when suddenly Binary ran out to the ring and broke the pin. Acidic Wonder was tagged back in and hit the spear, only to have Ironize tag back in and successfully make the cover.

Eurasian championship match
Albert Beefcake (c) d. Shawn Michaels (c)

The opening match saw current National/DALnet champion Shawn Michaels, take on the European Beefcake in the first unification match. The Alaskan Bear-Whale tried to strut his funky stuff in the ring, but Michaels cut the music with a nice super kick. The two superstars went at it hard, Michaels struggling with the sheer physical dominance the Beefer had. After reversing a string of move attempts the Alaskan nailed the Albo Bomb and got the cover for the win. As Shawn Michaels had an anger tantrum Albert danced the Beefer Busstop in the ring.

Backstage Lord Nomad was telling Mick Lucifer that he was the ICWW champion, the lord of the tables, and the soon to be first ever undisputed heavyweight champion. Mick Lucifer looked down at Nomad and smiled, saying that he knew Nomad wouldn't let him down, and would kick the ass off of Xio just the same way he would kick Justin Verrier. Lucifer guaranteed that on that night ICWW was going to dominate completely, and take more than the Eurasian title. The Undertaker entered next and told Mick Lucifer that even though he didn't have a match, he was there to support Mick.

Triple Threat Hardcore Championship match
Mr. Shamrock d. Chris Benoit and Bill Goldberg

The action returned as the hardcore championship was about to go on the line. In the match IWWF superstar Chris Benoit hoped to bring home some gold against two neutral wrestlers in Mr. Shamrock and Goldberg. Chris Benoit started off well taking Mr. Shamrock to town with a rights and lefts in a Lou Thesz press. Goldberg attacked from behind with fierce tenacity. Benoit took the monstrous Goldberg on face first, only to be nailed with a huge powerbomb. Mr. Shamrock went on the offensive at Goldberg but got nailed in the face with a steel chair. Chris Benoit re-entered the fray with a chair of his own, taking Goldberg out of the contest and sending him over the top rope. While the dominant Goldberg was winded on the outside, the battered Mr. Shamrock took advantage clamping down the ankle lock submission on Chris Benoit. Benoit managed to shake free, but was put down with a chair shot and pinned.

Backstage Justin Verrier and Mike Trell were in Verrier's office when Xio burst into the room. He proclaimed that on this night he would prove why he is a worthy IWWF heavyweight champion, why he is the best rookie that ever rose through the ranks, and the best person to be the first undisputed champion of IWWF and ICWW. Trell told Xio that it should in fact be his title as it had been vacated on many occasions beyond his control. Xio said he didn't care about Trell or what he thought he should have. Xio stormed out as abruptly as he had entered, leaving Verrier and Trell.

No holds barred National championship match
Banging (c) d. The Rock

Banging prepared to face The Rock in a no holds barred match for the prized National championship.
The Rock looked good early on as the two superstars exchanged heavy blows. Banging got the first break after nailing a nice trademark Samoan drop. The Rock wasn't out of the match yet though, fighting back hard enough to square up for a nice people's elbow. Banging recovered surprisingly quickly, only to absolutely nail The Rock into next week with a chair. The Rock slid to the outside giving both superstars a chance to catch their breath, returning with a steel chair of his own. Rock swung wildly with the chair, but Banging blocked it with his own chair and sent it back into his face. On the ropes the Rock made an attempt at the Rock Bottom, but Banging fought out of it. After a failed powerbomb it was clearly all over. Banging slammed the Rock down with a nice Kiwi Bomb and got the cover to become the first unified National champ.

While on his way to the ring Xio bumped into recently retired ICWW superstar, and former ICWW US champion Kurt Angle. Angle wished the IWWF heavyweight champion luck in his next match, only to have Xio stop suddenly. Xio informed the Olympic hero that he didn't need luck, he was the true king of tables. He said tonight not only would he prove to everyone in bother ICWW and IWWF that he was the best possible man to represent IWWF as undisputed champion, but he was also the one and only true king of the table match. Not the so called 'Lord' Nomad. Angle smiled and sent Xio along.

Table Undisputed Heavyweight championship match
Xio (c) d. Lord Nomad (c)

The first ever undisputed heavyweight title went on the line, as well as the affectionate king of tables role in this first main event. The two went at it hard and fast, Xio getting the first shot in. It wasn't long before the ICWW champion struck back though with a nice bulldog. Xio took Nomad down with a sky high short powerbomb, and avoided a top rope attack. Nomad took Xio down with a flapjack, and slipped under the top rope, heading for a rummage under the ring. Xio was presented with an array of weapons. When Lord Nomad entered the ring he was blasted with a chair shot to the head. Xio taunted Nomad, letting him know who was the king of the table match. Nomad responded with a quick low blow to the IWWF champ, and went upstairs, riding a chair like a surfboard right onto Xio's mid section. With Xio down Nomad again slid to the outside, this time pulling a table out. Nomad viciously threw the table into the ring and went back to Xio only to be dropped with a quick chair shot. Xio went to work setting a table up, as Nomad came from behind slamming him into the corner. From there Nomad set up and nailed a top rope powerbomb, the move taking as much out of him as Xio. Xio made it to his feet first and made certain the table was set, slamming Nomad straight through the middle with the aenima. Xio celebrated as the referee present him with the first undisputed IWWF/ICWW heavyweight championship. He left the ring chanting undisputed as Lord Nomad conceded defeat whilst sitting in the corner against the turnbuckle.

Mick Lucifer returned to the ring once more, and announced that although Kurt Angle had requested
the match with him, he would not be partaking in the match. Instead he had a suitable representative.
Suddenly Banging charged burst out at the entrance way, and charged to the ring.

Winner Takes All match
Justin Verrier d. Mick Lucifer

The air was thick as the big main event of Worlds Collide sparked into the air with the entrance of Verrier and Lucifer. When in the ring the referee brought the two together encouraging them to shake hands. Lucifer smiled at the crowd and began stretching when the bell rang. The two locked up, Justin getting a swift kick to the midsection, only to head into the ropes and take the ICWW owner down with a swinging neck breaker. Verrier went up top looking for an elbow drop from upstairs but got a face full of knee. As the match progressed Lucifer started to look in good shape knocking the breath out of Justin with the heart punch, and then following up with a big death valley driver. Getting his second wind Justin snuck in a low blow and dropped Lucifer with the Justin V DDT. He followed up with a modified sharpshooter, but Lucifer quickly dragged his way to the ropes. Lucifer limped into a front face lock, but managed to reverse an attempted vertical suplex. While on the ground the IWWF owner nailed Lucifer's knee with a low diving clothesline forcing Mick to one knee. Suddenly from out of the crowd Nomad appeared and used a steel chair to knock the referee out cold. Mick Lucifer used the chair on Justin knocking him flat, when all of a sudden Chaos Drone appeared on the ramp! Chaos rushed to the ring bludgeoning the chair wielding Lucifer. Lucifer took Chaos down with a chokeslam when suddenly Kurt Angle and The Undertaker rushed to the ring. Mick Lucifer got to his feet and laughed as he ordered the two superstars to take care of Justin Verrier, but instead they attacked Mick Lucifer and Nomad! Nomad tried to help the ICWW executive, but the four man team hammered away on Lucifer leaving him a bloodied mess. The cavalry headed backstage as the referee came to. Justin Verrier picked Lucifer up, dropped him with a Stone Cold stunner and got the pin fall.

As Verrier headed up the ramp celebrating, Mick Lucifer got to his feet supported by a turnbuckle. Verrier offered Lucifer the two finger salute while Lucifer stared on through a mask of blood as Worlds Collide came to an end.
