ICWW: Civil Action (Jun 1, 2004)

Episode #44
Trans World Dome, St. Louis

Buddy Luv and Stat-Man recapped the events unfolding on Aftershock, as Civil Action kicked off from St. Louis! Buddy Luv recapping Daemon X' promise to see Jason Shamrock on Civil Action. He announced that Violent J had taken the initiative, and booked them in the night's headliner. Stat-Man questioned Daemon X' interest in Shamrock, wondering if he was recruiting superstars with potential for a new breed of Four Horsemen.

In a room somewhere in the backstage area of the arena, Albert Beefcake and the Hurricane were in a poorly lit room. Sitting in the middle of the room under the light was Marc Scott. Albo grilled Scott on what he was doing last week on Civil Action, and where he was at the time of the poisoning. Albo slammed a phone book in front of Scott, and demanded answers. Scott told him he didn't know anything, and asked why he wasn't talking to Daemon X. Albert stood up silently, before telling Scott he could go.

Amazing Red versus The Godfather
The Godfather was in-ring against the giant killing red tornado, Amazing Red, for the night's opener. Amazing Red played keep-away with the Godfather, avoiding his grappling attempts, before going on the offensive with a flying head scissors. The zenlightened Godfather struck back, taking Red hard with a powerful powerslam. Red showed tremendous tenacity, fighting back against the sheer physical dominance of the Godfather. In true Amazing Red style, the red tornado driver saw him drag victory from the jaws of defeat.
Winner: Amazing Red via pin fall [6:19]

In the locker rooms, Michael Lucifer was with Daemon X. Lucifer told Daemon X that he was again having fatigue problems. He said the battle he had with Statix and the Nomad was too intense, costing him his chance in the contender match. Daemon X asked if he thought it could be connected to the poisoned children. Michael Lucifer acknowledged that it could all be related to the mystery CEO's twisted plans. He told his trusted horseman that he was going to have vengeance against the CEO at any cost, even if it meant the end of his career.

Banging versus Statix
It was champion versus champion in light heavyweight action, as X champ Banging took on the world's champion, Statix. Backstage, Marz was watching the match on a monitor, no doubt studying Statix' new style for their title match at Extinction Agenda. Statix and Banging narrowly avoided each other, hitting the ropes and missing striking attacks until Statix managed to connect with a flying kick. Banging struggled to hold off Statix' forward approach, lashing out with stiff right hands and thrust kicks. The masked superstar took the CEO's agent down with a Samoan drop, but survived the cover. Despite several close falls, Statix was an irresistible force, scoring the cover.
Winner: Statix via pin fall [13:37]

Superfly made his way to the ring to zenlighten the audience, taking a microphone. He announced that his efforts to protect Rockey Rakesh had failed, so he was making a final challenge. He challenged Daemon X to produce Rockey Rakesh if he lost his match against Jason Shamrock later in the night. Superfly then turned his sights on the Hurricane and Albert Beefcake, claiming their negligence may have put Rakesh in further danger. He called them out, and challenged them to a match.

The Hurricane versus Superfly
Unable to wrestle due to his recovering burns, Albert Beefcake supported his partner the Hurricane from the back. Superfly fought with the passion of his resolve, battling the super hero into submission with devastating right hands. Superfly took it to the corner, sending Hurricane flying with a monkey toss. Hurricane managed to battle back, connecting with the vertebreaker before nailing a side effect. With both men done, it was Superfly determination that allowed him to connect with the zenlighten driver, and roll Hurricane up for a victory.
Winner: Superfly via pin fall [3:36]

Amazing Red was backstage with Albert Beefcake, fulfilling his interview duties as ICWW's roving reporter. Amazing Red discussed that his victory over Godfather was one of many, and exclaimed his disgust that Marz, the man he defeated in a huge upset, was getting a shot at the International championship. The Red tornado friskily told the Alaskan that if he couldn't have a piece of the world champ, he wanted the next best thing, delivering a challenge to the Nomad for Extinction Agenda. Albert asked Amazing Red what his motive was, and he said that he was going to prove that he could beat anyone, no matter their size.

Hulk Hogan versus The Nomad
The Nomad was under the microscope as he battled on against the mystery CEO's right hand man, Hulk Hogan. The Hulkster was running wild, taking it to the agent with big right hands. Nomad was able to counter the attack, blocking the assault and countering with his own right hands. Busted open, Hogan struggled to shake off the punches, blocking them before nailing Nomad with the big boot! With Nomad down, Hogan managed to connect with the leg drop, but Nomad still kicked out! Kicking him down, Hogan hit a second leg drop for the cover.
Winner: Hulk Hogan via pin fall [3:48]

In the offices, the Y2Juggalo was watching the action on a monitor. He told Marc Scott that that was the kind of match he should be putting on, instead of a match where he would be distracted by the referee. J asked Scott how Albert's questioning was going, and Scott told him he was following leads. Violent J told his help that the mystery CEO had been riding him about the poisoned children, despite the fact it filled seats for the Extinction Agenda main event. Violent J let out a laugh, and told Scott that he wanted the case solved, and solved quickly!

Jason Shamrock versus Daemon X
The arena went cold as Jason Shamrock headed to the ring to face the occult Daemon X, whose terror seemed to be stretching across ICWW. Chants filled the arena, as the lights went dark with Shamrock inside. Daemon X appeared behind him as the lights came back on, going straight on the attack with a bulldog takedown. Shamrock swung wildly with rights and lefts, missing clearly. Shamrock grappled with his opponent, looking to out wrestle him, but Daemon X' own technical skills were not to be messed with. Dropping his opponent with a brainbuster, DX continued the assault, going off the top with a moonsault. Shamrock dug deep to battle out of the cover, and hit Daemon X with everything he had, finishing with a big belly to belly suplex. Daemon X struggled as Shamrock clamped down the ankle lock in the middle of the ring. Howling in pain, Daemon X was forced to tap out!
Winner: Jason Shamrock via submission [7:32]

With the match over, Banging raced down to the ring, assisting Daemon X in beating down on Jason Shamrock. With Shamrock down, Daemon X appeared to order his minion to stand over the fallen hardcore champion. Banging appeared reluctant to do so, before finally being pushed to do it. Daemon X began speaking in tongues as the lights went out, before a lightning bolt came crashing down, and struck Daemon! The occult superstar fell out of the ring, racing up the aisle in the darkness with blue flames leaping off his body as Aftershock came to an end!

Special mention:
The Red tornado demands a chance to prove that size doesn't matter!

ICWW: Civil Action (May 25, 2004)

Episode #43
Conseco Fieldhouse, Indianapolis

Buddy Luv and Stat-Man were pumped with the Indianapolis crowd right behind them. Later in the night a match to decide the number one contender for the International championship between Michael Lucifer and Marz, plus a whole range of action. Stat-Man turned his attentions to the International champion, Statix, and asked what his agenda might be during the night. Buddy Luv said he wasn't sure, but was keen to learn more not just about Statix, but about Daemon X also.

In the lobby, Violent J was mixing it up with the fans, handing out "Violent J #1" balloons to fans when Hulk Hogan approached. Fans shouted out to the Hulkster while he told Violent J that Superfly and Godfather were requesting a tag team match against Daemon X and Banging. J told Hogan that he'd be back in the office after he'd finished pumping up his approval rating.

The Nomad versus Jason Shamrock
The in-form hardcore champion, Jason Shamrock, looked to take on the Nomad, new image and all. Nomad came in hard and unforgiving, but as in past weeks, Shamrock was fighting like a man possessed, unloading with fists of steel. Nomad was trapped in the corner, giving Shamrock total control. Nomad proved to be a solid challenge, taking it to Nomad with various martial arts kicks, but in the end, Shamrock's managed to pluck victory from the hands of the Nomad, scoring the belly to belly.
Winner: Jason Shamrock via pin fall [3:26]

In the locker rooms Paul Heyman had a look of utter disbelief as he was standing with Rhyno. He told his client that he wasn't scheduled in a match, probably because he was too much of a disappointment. Heyman told Rhyno that his loss to Shamrock last week was an embarrassment. He told Rhyno that everything the campaign of pain had done for them was wasted. Passion spilled into Heyman's voice as he continued the verbal battering, telling Rhyno that there was no way he was going to be able to negotiate any kind of rematch with Violent J. He told his client that if he was going to salvage his career, he was going to have to make an impact then and there.

Amazing Red versus Marc Scott
Acidic Wonder was in the black and white, refereeing the match against Marc Scott and the light heavyweight red tornado, Amazing Red. Scott did his best to keep the tornado contained, working the suplexes and trying to keep him on the mat. Inevitably Red got control of the match, taking it to Scott with the running head scissors takedown. Looking to save grace, Marc Scott dropped an low blowed his opponent, prompting the Wonder to get in his face. The distraction gave Amazing Red the time he needed to roll him up. After the match, Marc Scott continued the argument, crying foul.
Winner: Amazing Red via pin fall [4:23]

Albert Beefcake was backstage, still bandaged, playing the role of roving reporter with Michael Lucifer. Albo asked the spirit of vengeance how he was feeling after the devastating assault he suffered at the hands of Rhyno in a steel cage. Lucifer told him that taking a week off was the best thing he could've done, because not only did he feel he had recovered from the cage match, he was feeling back in his peak. The Beefer asked how he felt about the International championship match against Marz later in the night. Lucifer told him that he and Marz had clashed many times, and he was more than ready to take care of him.

The Hurricane versus Hulk Hogan
The Hurricane took on Hulk Hogan, who worked the Indianapolis Hulkamaniacs, winding it up before turning his attention to the Hurricane! The two tied up, quickly trading right hands back and forth, until Hogan was able to over power his opponent. Hulkamania was runnin' wild, as the Hurricane tried for a cross body, only to be caught with a fall forward powerslam. Hurricane managed to kick out of a cover, and come back, hitting the ropes and catching Hogan with the floating neck breaker. It wasn't enough, Hogan countered the eye of the hurricane into the ropes, catching him with the big boot and finishing it off with the Hogan leg drop.
Winner: Hulk Hogan via pin fall [5:19]

Jason Shamrock was dressed and heading for parking lot, when Daemon X and Banging cut him off. Daemon X admired his hardcore championship belt, and congratulated him on his recent luck. Shamrock asked him what he wanted, and DX smiled, and told him that what he was after was simple. He said that it was time to give the devil his dues, Shamrock shrugged the pair off, and continued toward the parking lot, leaving Daemon X to laugh as he and Banging headed off.

In the ring, Superfly jumped on the microphone, and called Daemon X and Banging out. The occult duo made their way to the ring, coming face to face with Godfather and Superfly. Superfly told them that he had told Rockey Rakesh that everything was going to turn out fine, and he didn't like to be made a liar. He challenged Daemon X telling him that if they win their match, he would have to return Rockey Rakesh.

Superfly & Godfather versus Daemon X & Banging
DX and Banging wasted no time going on the offensive, attacking the zenlightened team without remorse. The referee got control of the match, leaving Godfather and Banging to exchange blows. Godfather countered the Samoan drop attempt, gaining the upper hand over the X-division champion, Banging. Daemon X made the tag, seeing him take control of the match. Leveling both superstars, it was Superfly who would be on the receiving end of the dust to dust. As the time ticked on, Godafther interfered when Daemon X looked for the pin, seeing Banging go up top to nail him with a flying heel kick, but Banging hit Daemon X! Superfly managed to score the cover. Superfly and Godfather headed up the aisle, while Daemon X was left in disbelief at his partner's grave mistake.
Winner: Superfly & Godfather via pin fall [0:00]

During the interval between matches, a commotion broke out in the crowd. ICWW officials were rushed to ringside, as children in the front row were found to be convulsing. The staff were able to help them, escorting them out of the arena through the backstage superstar area. Buddy Luv and Stat-Man were able to inform fans that the children had been taken to hospital for caution, and ICWW was going to pay expenses, and give them tickets to ICWW: Extinction Agenda.

International number one contender match
Marz versus Michael Lucifer
The night's headliner kicked off as Marz and Michael Lucifer faced off to name a number one contender for the International championship. Lucifer was in dominating form, striking out with throat thrusts, but Marz wasn't going down without a fight. Marz was able to take it to the mat with a dragon screw, catching Lucifer with the springboard kick on his way up. It wasn't enough to keep the big man down, who continued the assault despite being thrown over the top more than once. The devil driver was the exclamation point when suddenly Rhyno and Heyman ran down to the ring! Rhyno attacked Lucifer, before nailing him with a powerbomb! The referee had no choice but to disqualify Marz, making Lucifer the winner.
Winner: Michael Lucifer via disqualification [4:29]

With the match over, Marz battled Rhyno and Heyman with them having cost him his championship shot. Michael Lucifer recovered in the ring, while Civil Action came to a close. Buddy Luv against assured everyone the children were fine, and promised big action on Aftershock Friday.

Special mention:
The spirit returns, only to re-affirm his position as a force to be reckoned with!

ICWW: Civil Action (May 18, 2004)

Episode #42
Bradley Center, Milwaukee

Buddy Luv and Stat-Man were pleased to welcome fans to ICWW's first Milwaukee visit, near the lands of the International champion's home grounds. Stat-Man revisited the shocking events of Kingdom Come, and the amazing return of Statix. Buddy Luv declared it was one of the most explosive world title bouts ever seen in ICWW. He also touched on the campaign of pain's victory over Michael Lucifer, and the speculation of who could be next.

The Godfather versus Jason Shamrock
The action kicked off, Jason Shamrock looking to further his recent success after continuing his winning ways at Kingdom Come with a victory over Hulk Hogan. Godfather looked to assert himself in the early goings, but as has been the trend, Shamrock was able to match his larger opponent pound for pound. Taking it to the mat, Shamrock worked away on the ankle, but it would be the belly to belly suplex finishing move that would score Shamrock another extreme victory.
Winner: Jason Shamrock via pin fall [4:43]

In the backstage area, International champion Statix was arriving, when the Nomad approached him. Statix seemed distant from his friend who asked if it had been he who asked him to deliver the package to Michael Lucifer. Statix told Nomad that there were forces at work much larger than their own human desires and fears. Unsure of what his pal was talking about, Nomad reluctantly accepted an invitation to discuss matters of business elsewhere.

In the offices Violent J was with Marc Scott watching the backstage area on a monitor. Violent J folded his arms and nodded, telling his lackey that even though he lost the world title belt, he could see things were heading in the right direction. He admitted that he was disappointed in losing, but his job as head booker was secured, which meant he could continue to enjoy the life of luxury he was becoming accustomed to. Scott lit up a cigar for his boss, handing it to the Y2Juggalo. As he chomped on it, Violent J let out an unprovoked laugh, and told Scott that he should sit back, and watch their success fly.

The Hurricane versus Hulk Hogan
One-half of the tag team champions took on the head-booker's right hand man in one on one competition. Both superstars reflected the signs of just how brutal the weekend was for the ICWW roster, as Hogan stiffly exerted his influence on the match. Hurricane struggled to find his grounds, Hogan using the big boot to level his opponent. With the super hero down for the count, Hogan was able to wrap it up with a big leg drop.
Winner: Hulk Hogan via pin fall [3:46]

In the gym, Abel Lucifer approached Albert Beefcake. Abel asked if Albert knew where he could find his brother. The big beefer told Abel that Lucifer hadn't come in, due to injuries sustained at Kingdom Come. Abel seemed to slip into deep thought when Albo asked him if he was interested in signing up to the ABG. Abel cocked an eyebrow, staring at the Alaskan with a stale look on his face. Albert backed off like a wounded animal, informing that he had second-degree burns in his defense.

Gregory Helms was straightening his tie backstage, as he prepared to discuss the upset victory Amazing Red was able to attain over Marz. The red tornado told Helms that it was simple. New Yorkers were known for being underdogs, and like a true kid from Brooklyn, he came out as a giant killer. Helms asked Red how he felt about the rematch signed later in the night, to which Red said he was insulted. He said he felt it was all about the lack of faith the people at the top had in him. He guaranteed that he would make it his mission to be known for something other than his weight.

Daemon X versus The Nomad
Daemon X was accompanied to the ring by X-division champion, Banging, for a bout with the recovering Nomad. Nomad looked to be in improving condition, wasting no time jumping the occult superstar while he conversed with Banging. Daemon X was able to turn the surprise around, using his speed to knock Nomad back with a handstand kick. Daemon X continued, lashing out with a combo of right hands, and thunderous roundhouse kicks. Nomad tried to retaliate with a powerbomb, but DX countered, heading up to the top rope! Out of nowhere, Banging leapt onto the apron, and inadvertently knocked his master from the top! Nomad rolled him up with a cradle to score the lucky victory.
Winner: The Nomad via pin fall [3:14]

In the offices Hulk Hogan and Marc Scott were huddled in the corner, while Violent J conversed actively on the telephone. J shouted repeatedly that Statix was back, but didn't seem to be getting the desired effect. Slamming the receiver down, J turned to his men, and told them that the mystery CEO was threatening his position again. He told them that the CEO had told him he had made other bad business decisions, and was letting his personal feelings get in the way. J sneered, chomping his cigar.

Marz versus Amazing Red
A grudge rematch was on the card as Amazing Red took on Marz once again. Proceedings kicked off with a grapple, seeing Marz come out with a go behind into a German suplex. Marz' grappling game strategy kept a lid on things before Red was able to send him to the outside with a super kick. The red tornado flew over the top, catching Marz on the outside, the referee letting them go the distance. The match deteriorated into a slug fest, as the two exchanged blow after blow. With time counting on, Marz produced a steel chain, and used it as a weapon against the light weight! He rolled him into the ring, able to pick up some retribution with a firm cover.
Winner: Marz via pin fall [15:31]

In the locker rooms, Superfly approached the Godfather. He asked his partner if he'd seen Rockey Rakesh anywhere since the weekend. Godfather asked his escorts if they'd seen him at all, getting a negative response. Superfly stroked his chin, and told Godfather that there was an imbalance in the cosmos that he didn't like. Godfather asked him what he meant, and Superfly warned that as zenlightened as he was, he might need spiritual guidance if they were to find Rockey Rakesh.

Violent J versus Steven Oozaru
The Y2Juggalo countdown echoed through the arena as the head-booker returned to the ring after a brutal loss at the hands of Statix. With the mystery CEO still riding him, Violent J took his frustrations out on the Aussie giant, Steven Oozaru. Unable to execute his usual power game, Oozaru floundered under a heavy battery of punches. Violent J was able to hit the psycho flip in the early going, but it wasn't enough to keep Oozaru down, who managed to hit the desperation flatliner finisher. With fatigue quickly setting in, it was Violent J who was able to use the spike DDT to wrap it up.
Winner: Violent J via pin fall [4:19]

Violent J celebrated the victory as Civil Action came to an end. Buddy Luv and Stat-Man turned speculation toward Aftershock, daring to ask what Abel Lucifer was looking for from his brother. Also turning their attention to Daemon X' connection to the disappearance of Rockey Rakesh; urging everyone to tune in for Aftershock, as Civil Action came to an end.

Special mention:
Statix' return hasn't had the effect the Y2Juggalo expected.

ICWW: Civil Action (May 11, 2004)

Episode #41
Spartan Stadium, Lansing

Buddy Luv and Stat-Man tipped their hats as Civil Action kicked off with an explosion. Stat-Man was glad to be back on American soil, as the World Tour took it's first deviation through the land of the free. Buddy Luv said he enjoyed the enthusiastic Canadian crowd, but agreed it was good to be back. He went on to question how the shift of locale might affect the head-booker's credibility ratings, with the Mystery CEO bearing down on him. Stat-Man told him they might find out as his stooge took on his former partner.

Hardcore match
Hulk Hogan versus Marz
Violent J's head stooge was runnin' wild in the arena, making good on his promise to take out Violent J's former partner, and now bitter enemy - Marz. Marz' speed proved to be a great advantage, as did his own personal chain. Hogan was busted open, as the match spilled to the outside almost immediately. After getting the jump on Hogan, he was able to rummage under the ring, producing a hockey stick! Marz' speed let him dodge it, finishing the match with the shotei strike.
Winner: Marz via pin fall [2:47]

In the locker rooms Michael Lucifer was sitting in the locker rooms. He pulled his elbows off his knees, and leant back against the wall. Lucifer turned his attention to the end of the row of lockers, revealing Daemon X. Lucifer greeted him, thanking his greatest horseman for joining him. Lucifer praised Daemon X, War, as the only one who didn't fail him. Lucifer told him that as his most trusted Horseman, he knew it would be safe to tell him that things were not as they seemed. Lucifer explained that despite the claims Rhyno couldn't beat him, he could. Lucifer told his horseman that the ladder match, and the panic room had taken much more out of him that he'd let on. He explained that if he were to have a chance, he would have to gather his strength, while Daemon X delivered opportunity. Daemon X promised to do all he could to hurt Rhyno in their match, later in the night.

Jason Shamrock versus Superfly
The crowd prepared to get a little zenlightenment as Superfly hit the ring for his match against Jason Shamrock. Shamrock's luck seemed to be with him, as he unloaded on Superfly with a barrage of martial arts kicks. Superfly suddenly became quite disturbed. With a shocked expression, Superfly allowed himself to be counted out, handing Jason Shamrock another victory in a string of wins.
Winner: Jason Shamrock via count out [2:11]

Steven Oozaru was with roving reporter Gregory Helms in the back. Oozaru told Helms that Daemon X' hold over Banging wasn't going to last, because the bond of the Pacific Connection was far greater than his hocus pocus. Oozaru told Helms that later in the night, he would face Banging in the ring to make him remember the Connection, and then at Kingdom Come he would take Daemon X out himself!

In the offices Violent J was on the phone, doing a lot of nodding. Hogan stumbled in, as Violent J hung up the phone. He blasted Hogan for losing, claiming he was as bad as Marc Scott and Halle Berry! VJ told Hogan that the mystery CEO was putting more pressure on him to produce Statix, as well as telling him he wasn't living up to the International championship standard. Hogan told him that he should go out and fight in a non-title match. The Y2Juggalo told Hogan that it was a good idea, and that he couldn't possibly stay angry with him. The two hugged.

Daemon X versus Rhyno
Rhyno was accompanied by his manager, Paul Heyman, as Rhyno felt heat from the Lansing home crowd. Daemon X came out second best, as the two kicked off the match. Daemon X taunted Rhyno with hand gestures and chanting, before trying to match power with the manimal. Rhyno was able to find his way into a lead early on, pummeling Daemon X. The occult superstar was able to gain some advantage, going off the top with a high risk maneuver! In the end, it would be the gore to finish.
Winner: Rhyno via pin fall [4:05]

In the parking lot, the Nomad was pacing backward and forth. With Statix still missing, and his injuries hindering him, a handicapped match didn't look good for him, with a tag match scheduled later in the night. Lights flashed on, as the Nomad spotted a shadowy figure, he tried to see through the shadows, stepping closer slowly., Suddenly, a car came speeding through, clipping the Nomad! The camera man put his rig down, and checked on the Nomad before running for help. The camera, still rolling, revealed a pair of black men's shoes, as someone in suit pants knelt down beside the Nomad and checked on him.

The Godfather versus Violent J
Buddy Luv and Stat-Man pondered what happened in the back, promising to keep fans updated on the Nomad. Violent J came out, followed by the Godfather to do battle in a non-title match. The International champion showed some class in the early goings, using his greater maneuverability to get around the Godfather's stiff style. J distracted the referee, nailing Godfather with a low blow kick, following it up with a very public spike DDT. The Godfather's hoes swarmed the ring, beating down on the head-booker, and resulting in a disqualification.
Winner: Violent J via disqualification [5:30]

Buddy Luv and Stat-Man were relieved to update that the Nomad was barely bruised by his narrow encounter with a vehicle. Emergency staff confirmed that the Nomad would be fit to wrestle later in the night, if he felt up to it. The only real risk, was shock. Stat-Man speculated what that could mean for his match at Kingdom Come.

Steven Oozaru versus Banging
The Pacific Connection prepared to do battle, Steven Oozaru starting the match trying to get through to Banging. Oozaru spoke vigorously to his partner, describing some of their great matches, and victories as a tag team. Just as it seemed like he was getting through, Banging went on the attack, nailing Oozaru with right hands, before sending him into the ropes and scoring with the Samoan drop! The Aussie giant's heart was obviously too involved in the match, putting up a strong defensive, but not enough to fend off Banging, fighting with the strength of a madman. The Kiwi bomb finished it off, allowing Banging to pick up a victory just days before he faces the X champion.
Winner: Banging via pin fall [6:23]

Marz was in the back, asking the question - what about Marz? He verbally assaulted his former partner Violent J, calling his tactics underhanded and weak. He lashed out, using his defeat over Hulk Hogan as a symbol of his undying desire. The Dark Lotus turned his attention to Amazing Red's challenge, scoffing the light heavyweight for his audacity. Marz counted down his highlights, including a ninety- one day reign as International champion. Marz laughed, and accepted.

Tag Team match
The Hurricane & Albert Beefcake versus The Nomad & Statix
The New Super Friends made their way to the ring for their match, with the Lansing crowd going insane for the tag team champions. The Nomad made his way to the ring, taking a microphone when he got there. He explained that with his internal injuries, he didn't really want to have to fight before Kingdom Come. He then explained that without Statix, there wasn't a chance in hell he could handle them. The Hurricane snatched the microphone, and told Nomad that it would be irresponsible of him to allow Nomad to fight, agreeing to postpone the match for another day.
Winner: No contest [0:00]

The Super Friends raised Nomad's arm, as Civil Action came to an end. Buddy Luv and Stat-Man said their goodbyes, reminding everyone to tune into Aftershock, and main event weekend for ICWW: Kingdom Come.

Special mention:
Daemon X may be making enemies, but he also has powerful allies!

ICWW: Civil Action (May 4, 2004)

Episode #40
SkyDome, Toronto

Buddy Luv and Stat-Man were feeling good as Civil Action hit Toronto! Stat-Man threw speculation to the events of Aftershock, wondering if Michael Lucifer would come any closer to discovering the mystery of the chess piece. Buddy Luv also cast speculation over whether or not the Nomad would learn his opponent.

The Canadian crowd popped as Violent J and Marz came face to face backstage. The two stared at each other before the Y2Juggalo threw his hand in Marz' face and told him that finally the head booker had come back to Toronto. Marz told Violent J that he didn't care about catch phrases, or mad cap antics. Marz told the head booker that he was more than dissatisfied, and demanded a match against a worthy opponent. Violent J told his former partner that he would be facing a former heavyweight champion, and one of the biggest superstars in ICWW history, and that he should just sit tight.

Rockey Rakesh versus Daemon X
Daemon X scheduled to take on X-Division champion, Rockey Rakesh, in a non-title match. Rockey Rakesh cautiously made his way down the aisle, carrying the X belt. Daemon X headed to the ropes, taunting Rakesh with indecipherable incantations. With a look of horror on his face, Rakesh backed up the entrance way, leaving the referee with no option other than to count him out, handing DX the win.
Winner: Daemon X via count out [0:12]

Violent J burst into the offices with Hulk Hogan following behind. The Y2Juggalo dropped into his big leather chair, looking flustered. Hogan massaged the head booker while J ranted about his problems. J complained about Marz, Steven Oozaru, Statix, the CEO all riding him. Hogan told Violent J that he'd be happy to take care of each one of them for him. J thanked him for being good to him, and told him that he could take care of Oozaru once and for all. The two laughed dramatically.

X-Division Championship contender match
Banging versus Amazing Red
Banging headed to the ring accompanied by Daemon X, who barked instructions to him for his shot at the X-Division title. The Red Tornado looked hot, heading to the ring for one on one action. Speed was the order of the day, the two dancing rings around each other to a stand still, before Amazing Red found some advantage with a springboard moonsault. As Banging staggered his way to his feet, Red went off the top with a dragonrana, only to have Daemon X reach in, enabling Banging to reverse the pin. Giving Banging a questionable victory over the rookie.
Winner: Banging via pin fall [4:42]

In the back Marc Scott was watching the action on a monitor clapping, when suddenly the Nomad approached and turned it off. Scott asked Nomad if he thought Banging's win was excellent, but the Nomad didn't seem interested. The Nomad told Scott that he assumed he was running with Violent J, now that he'd risen to power and the Horsemen had disbanded. Scott nodded, and told Nomad that he was always on the winning team. Nomad, laughing, asked the former Horseman if that was why he'd spent so much time out of ICWW. Scott got serious, and said that while he had had a sweet deal on the other side of the fence, he may have had an err of judgment. Nomad warned that he was making another poor judgment call, taking him on.

Hulk Hogan versus Steven Oozaru
Looking to do Violent J's bidding, Hollywood Hulk Hogan headed out to face Steven Oozaru. Despite having a victory over him, Hogan didn't seem to be able to impose himself over Steven Oozaru. The two goliaths of the ring traded blows, matching power for power. The big Aussie was able to exert himself over the Californian, using his superior maneuverability to score the flatliner. An abrupt end to the match. With Hogan down, Oozaru turned his attention to the camera's, shouting that his win was for Daemon X. The big man threw punches for the camera, before chanting "Pacific Connection" and heading to the showers.
Winner: Steven Oozaru via pin fall [3:36]

In the back, Godfather and Superfly were meditating on mats with the Godfather's escorts, when Rockey Rakesh burst through and tripped over them. Superfly asked Rakesh what his hurry was. Speaking in his native Indian, the X-Division champion rambled with panic on his face. Superfly helped Rakesh calm down enough to learn that Rakesh was afraid his mantra had been sullied by his quest for X-Division gold. He explained that he was vulnerable to forces of darkness, such as Daemon X. Superfly and Godfather invited Rockey to invite them, and told him to find his centre and relax.

Jason Shamrock versus Marc Scott
Shamrock looked out of sorts as he prepared to take on Violent J's new corporate stooge, Marc Scott. Before the bell, Shamrock stopped in the corner and muttered something, before unleashing a devastating combination as the match got under way. Marc Scott was forced onto the back foot, but managed to found some ground getting Shamrock into the corner. Scott unloaded with a series of chops, before finding an edge with the triple German suplex. Shamrock managed to rip victory from the clutches of defeat, hitting the belly to belly and picking up a cover. Shamrock looked toward the back, while the referee raised his arm.
Winner: Jason Shamrock via pin fall [4:45]

Michael Lucifer was with Gregory Helms in the back. Helms asked the Hardcore champion about the mysterious package he received on Aftershock. Lucifer said it was just another twist in the mystery CEO's game. He told Helms that he couldn't be exactly sure what it meant, but he had an idea that the CEO had won over one of his people. Helms asked what that meant, after his team's defeat at Worlds Collide. Lucifer stared into Helms' eyes and told him, it meant he was very angry.

Marz versus Albert Beefcake
As per Violent J's instruction, Marz headed to the ring and awaited his opponent. It turned out to be none other than the Big Beefer himself, one-half of the tag team champions. Marz fared well in the early goings, but Albert was able to turn it around, overpowering the seemingly exhausted Marz. Battling on valiantly, Marz managed to buy himself time with the shotei palm strike. Unable to pick up the cover, Albert dropped Marz hard with a fall forward slam, furthering VJ's taunts with a firm cover.
Winner: Albert Beefcake via pin fall [10:22]

Rhyno's theme hit the PA, but only his manager Paul Heyman strutted down to the ring. Heyman grabbed a microphone and greeted the Toronto crowd. Heyman acknowledged the crowd's booing as fair, because he wasn't there to be liked, he was there to be a manager. Heyman tilted his cap to the history, and fantastic moments in wrestling Canada had been home to. He admitted that it would no doubt be another fantastic night after he was done, when the headlining match - Michael Lucifer versus Statix - would take place. He paid tribute to the legacy Statix was building for himself, and predicted that he would be an International champion by the end of the year. Paul E. went on to say that the only real let down of the night would be Michael Lucifer; the "big angry man" who was coming to squash everyone. He said the only thing Lucifer was squashing was ratings. It was then the hardcore champion's theme hit, and the man himself stormed down to the ring. With Heyman cowering, Lucifer stepped over the top rope and grabbed Heyman in a choke, bearing down on the manager. Out of nowhere, Rhyno slipped out of the crowd and tried to take the big man down, but ran into a chokeslam!

Heyman frantically helped his client out of the ring, shouting obscenities at Lucifer while he spoke to the referee as Statix' theme hit. In the backstage area, Violent J was pacing up and down asking technical staff if anyone had seen Statix. With no sign of Statix, VJ grabbed the first wrestler in sight - the Hurricane - and told him to get out there.

Michael Lucifer versus The Hurricane
A hint of confusion crept across the hardcore champ's face as the Hurricane stepped out at the entrance way. The super hero flew down to the ring, with the Toronto crowd behind him all the way. Hurricane looked Lucifer up and down, and offered to shake his hand, only to get dropped with a back breaker. Lucifer exerted his strength over the light heavyweight, bearing down with thrusts to the throat. As the gear changed to a faster pace, Hurricane found a way to knock the big man down. Hurricane stopped to offer a thumbs up, before picking Lucifer up for a chokeslam. Lucifer shook his head, and scooped the Hurricane up for the devil driver, before folding his arms.
Winner: Michael Lucifer via pin fall [3:42]

The referee returned Lucifer's hardcore championship belt, and raised his arm as Buddy Luv and Stat-Man wrapped up Civil Action. Questions about the whereabouts of Statix was the question of the night, as the two challenged everyone to be with them live from Thunder Bay - home town of the head booker, Violent J!

Albert's win pushes Marz even farther from his lofty goals.

ICWW: Civil Action (Apr 27, 2004)

Episode #39
Skyreach Centre, Alberta

Buddy Luv and Stat-man were excited to bring Civil Action back for a second week since it's return. Stat-Man told Buddy Luv that he was excited to be moving on, statistically speaking, and knew that it was going to be a great night. Buddy Luv agreed reminding fans of the pink slip hardcore title match later in the night, pitting Statix against his former mentor - Michael Lucifer.

Stat-Man was interrupted as Marz appeared on the big screen. He was sitting in a dimly lit vacant casino with a revolver in his hand. Marz spun the gun around on his hand and said that ICWW, like life, was just a big game. A game of roulette. Marz put the gun to his temple and pulled the trigger twice, imitating the sound. "Click click". He said that like any game, the stakes would be higher for some. "Click click", again he pulled the trigger twice. He said that some didn't matter. He asked the question, 'what about Marz? What does Marz think?'. "Click click". Marz turned to the camera and warned that he thought it was time to play, firing the gun at the camera.

The Godfather versus The Hurricane
Old rivalries die hard as one half of the tag team champions, the Hurricane, took on his seminal counterpart, the Godfather. The Hurricane was able to keep the pace quick, keeping Godfather in the gates. The Hurricane went off the top, scoring a huge top rope spinning heel kick. Godfather tried to muscle back into the match, finding his way to a running splash. Hurricane was able to drop Godfather with the vertebreaker, but it wasn't enough. The pimp drop seeing Godfather to a victory.
Winner: The Godfather via pin fall [4:19]

In the back, Daemon X was with the masked superstar, Banging. Banging didn't seem to be himself, listening idly while Daemon X explained that he was going to feel out their situation with Rockey Rakesh. DX commanded Banging to watch his back while he took care of business. Banging dropped to one knee and bowed, while Daemon X laughed. Banging waited until the occult superstar was gone, before rising.

Steven Oozaru versus Hulk Hogan
The two big men hit the ring, in the Aussie colossus Steven Oozaru and Hulkamania Hollywood Hulk Hogan. The two clawed up in a test of strength, seeing Hogan get the better of Oozaru. Oozaru managed to battle back, gaining an advantage with illegal use of a steel bar! With blood running down his face Hogan managed to reverse the Irish whip, returning the favour with a shattering big boot to the face. With Oozaru down he dropped the big leg drop, but no content, Hogan signaled for one more! The second leg drop proved to be enough, earning Hogan the upset victory.
Winner: Hulk Hogan via pin fall [4:53]

Statix arrived in the car park, only to be confronted by roving reporter Gregory Helms. Helms asked how Statix was feeling coming into perhaps the biggest match of his career, a pink slip match against Michael Lucifer. Statix admitted he was nervous, and acknowledged that the future was never clear with Lucifer. He said the dismantling of the Four Horsemen was a good thing for him, and felt he could win. Albert Beefcake approached with a "rar", and asked Helms if he had seen the Hurricane anywhere. Gregory and Albert exchanged exaggerated winks.

Superfly versus Albert Beefcake
The second half of the tag team champions, and contenders set up to duke it out. Superfly presented Albert Beefcake with a dream catcher before the match. Albert seemed to have trouble understand how it worked, so Superfly explained it to him. While Albert, being a proud Alaskan, appreciated it's Native representation, he didn't appreciate Superfly's hybrid philosophy, showing it with a devastating cocobutt. Superfly struggled to fend off Albert's assault, looking for any edge. Some of the Godfather's hoes made their way to the ring, distracting the referee long enough for Superfly to blow powder in Albert Beefcake's eyes, giving him the roll up victory.
Winner: Superfly via pin fall [4:20]

Backstage the injured Nomad wearing street clothes approached Marc Scott at the catering table. Nomad asked if he had seen where Statix had gone after arriving. Scott corrected him for referring to him as Famine, and told Nomad that even though he'd been keeping an eye on Statix, he wasn't sure where he was. Nomad leaned in and warned Famine not to get involved in the night's headliner. As Nomad began to leave, Scott grabbed Nomad in a hammer lock, pulling him back by the shoulder to apply pressure on the injured mid-section and asked what he would to stop him. Nomad staggered away, leaving Scott to enjoy cheese and wine.

Daemon X versus Rockey Rakesh
Acidic Wonder had refereeing chores as Daemon X took on the current X-Division champion. The Wonder looked confident, dealing with a high paced battle. Daemon, already known for being able to tie it up with the best of them, matched Rakesh's speed. The yoga trained superstar tried to wrap his opponent up in knots, but DX was able to impose his influence on the champ. Banging slowly made his way down to ringside, distracting Daemon X long enough to allow Rakesh to steal the win.
Winner: Rockey Rakesh via pin fall [8:38]

Paul Heyman made his way to the ring with Rhyno to drum up hype for the hardcore title match at ICWW: Kingdom Come. Heyman began by acknowledging that he'd heard the news, and wanted to assure everyone that while Rhyno didn't have a strong record against Michael Lucifer, it wouldn't matter if he had to face him in the cage. Heyman reminded fans of the cage match Lucifer had against Triple H at Reckoning. He reminded everyone of the fierce rivalry between Lucifer and the Game. That Triple H had crippled Lucifer, and almost maimed his wife through Edge. Heyman then asked Rhyno what he'd ever done to Lucifer. Heyman interrupted and pointed out that he'd done nothing to ever cross Lucifer, which was why Rhyno was a shoe-in. Paul E. told the crowd that Lucifer was the spirit of vengeance, and without vengeance, he was nothing but a pussy cat. Rhyno and Heyman laughed as they left the ring.

Amazing Red versus Marz
The 140lb red tornado hit the ring for a big match early in his career. Marz was as unforgiving as ever, coming to the ring wielding a steel chain. The rookie in Amazing Red managed to disarm the former International champion in the early going, but fell victim to the springboard kick. The flying continued, as Red made another attempt to steal the match, looking for the springboard moonsault, but couldn't connect. Marz was able to finish it with a precise shotei palm, and a high flying Phoenix splash.
Winner: Marz via pin fall [4:02]

In the offices Violent J was sitting behind a desk with Hulk Hogan sitting next to it, watching a television. Violent J told Hogan that he thought his win over Steven Oozaru was pretty hot, but Marz came off pretty hard over Amazing Red. Hogan agreed, only to have J snap at him. Shouting about how much he hated that about Marz. Hogan tried to make it up to him, offering to fight Marz on Aftershock. Violent J pondered the situation, and told him he would think about it after the night's headliner. Hogan and J both rubbed their hands together and laughed with anticipation.

In the back the Nomad was sitting on a locker room bench with the light casting shadow over his face. Nursing his mid-section, Nomad looked up and told Statix that after all the advice Statix had given him he wanted to give some back. The Nomad told Statix that it wasn't too late to turn back. Statix turned to Nomad, and told him that he appreciated everything he'd done for him. The sensation told his friend that for the first time, he could see the future clearly. He knew something big had been coming, and that it was a destiny he was ready to face. Statix walked to the door and turned back, donning his sunglasses before stepping out of the locker rooms.

Pink Slip Hardcore Championship match
Michael Lucifer versus Statix (c)
Michael Lucifer made his way to the ring, back in the blue sash. Statix stepped out at the entrance to a huge ovation, carrying the hardcore championship over his shoulder. He stepped into the ring staring at the looming challenge in Lucifer. With a granite face, Lucifer went on the offensive swinging wildly at Statix with a lariat. The champ managed to duck it, and unloaded with a series of chops and martial arts kicks on Lucifer. Lucifer was able to get back in the match, blocking kicks with his shins allowing him to choke toss Statix into the corner. There, Lucifer unloaded with a series of body rips and boxing style punches. With blood dribbling from his mouth, Statix made it to his feet, challenging Lucifer to attack him. Statix was able to fend off further blows, but the a sumo oshi put Statix on the back foot. Leaving him open for a grounded throat strike, and a crushing defeat.
Winner: Michael Lucifer via submission, new hardcore champion [9:22]

Statix pulled himself up using the ropes, while Michael Lucifer received the championship strap. Lucifer headed for the ropes, but stopped after putting one leg through, to turn back to Statix. Emotion seemed to be the farthest thing from Lucifer's mind, offering only his typical frown before heading to the back. With a sheer look of stun on his face, Statix seemed to pass out, dropping to his knees before falling face down on the mat. Medical attendees headed to the ring as Civil Action came to a shocking conclusion.

Special mention:
The relationship between Banging and Daemon X continues to baffle.

ICWW: Civil Action (Apr 20, 2004)

Episode #38

The return of Civil Action kicked off with a huge pop from the crowd. Buddy Luv and Stat Man talked about Worlds Collide III, that went down just two days ago, and were excited to see how the aftermath of things played out.

Michael Lucifer’s music hit, as the former International champion made his way down to the ring. Lucifer talked about how his horsemen let him down at Worlds Collide, and stated that he would no longer team with a group of losers. He accused Marz of bringing the team down, by losing the final match to Violent J. Even after Lucifer basically handed Marz the belt at Panic Attack, he couldn’t accomplish a simple task like defeating Violent J. There was a lesson to be taught, and Marz would learn it later in the night in the headlining match. Michael Lucifer left the ring in time for the first match of the night to begin.

Marc Scott vs The Nomad
The recently returned Nomad made his way to the ring after a disappointing loss at Worlds Collide. The Nomad was looking to redeem himself as one of the top superstars in the ranks. Marc Scott’s cockiness played a real advantage to him in this match, as it started off with an exchange of shots and blows. After a pretty even, back and fourth match, Marc Scott managed to sneak in a low blow, and got the roll up, using the ropes for leverage.
Winner: Marc Scott via pin fall [5:36]

Violent J was walking through the backstage area, looking pretty proud of himself with the International title on one shoulder, and the JCW title on the other. He approached a locker room and opened the door to reveal Statix and Oozaru sitting on the inside. He informed them that as the new booker, he was willing to give one of them the opportunity of a lifetime later in the night. He would allow one of them to take on the International champion in a non-title match. Statix jumped at the opportunity, telling the Y2Juggalo that he would take him on. Violent J told Statix he was cute, but putting someone so low on the card in a match with himself, wouldn’t make for good ratings. Violent J then winked at Oozaru before leaving the room.

A familiar theme hit the arena as Paul Heyman appeared on the ramp. The crowd’s reaction was a mixture of cheers and boos, as obviously the presence of Heyman can either mean something great, or something horrible was about to hit ICWW. Paul told the fans that he was in the arena tonight, because he saw potential in one of the superstars. This superstar is possibly the greatest ICWW has ever seen, yet has been drastically overlooked. With no more time wasted, Rhyno made his way down to the ring. Heyman set out a challenge to anyone backstage who thought they had what it takes to beat the manimal.

Rhyno vs Albert Beefcake
Albert cheerfully made his way to the ring, obviously not discouraged by his recent loss. Rhyno took control of the match early on, manhandling Albert throughout most of it. Rhyno called for the gore as Albert got back to his feet, but Albert managed to dodge it, sending Rhyno into the ring post. Albert then capitalized with the Albo Bomb! Paul Heyman jumped up onto the apron, distracting the ref and Albo. The Big Beefer finally turned around, only to be nailed on the skull with a steel chair. The ref caught a glimpse of this, and disqualified Rhyno.
Winner: Albert Beefcake via disqualification [3:21]

Rockey Rakesh was in his locker room meditating when there was a bang on the door. Rakesh got up startled, before running out of the room and down the hall.

Attention shifted to Marz, who was sitting in a back alley way on top of a dumpster. Marz stated that he’d been abandoned by everyone he’d cared for his whole life. The world doesn’t want him, and he no longer wants the world. If Michael Lucifer wanted a match with him, that would be fine, promising Mick was only digging his own grave.

Violent J vs Steven Oozaru
Violent J made his way to the ring, with a huge pop from the crowd, and got in with the awaiting Steven Oozaru. Oozaru took advantage of Violent J, hitting him with many technical moves, before Violent J managed to reverse a side head lock and nailed Oozaru with the Scissors kick. Violent J climbed the turnbuckle, and pumped the crowd up for the Psycho Flip, but was pushed from behind by Statix. Oozaru got to his feet and capitalized on this, and nailed Violent J with the flatliner for the cover.
Winner: Steven Oozaru via pin fall [1:57]

Daemon X was backstage laughing, when Banging approached. Banging told Daemon X that what he did to Rakesh wasn’t funny, and every time he did something like that Banging loses a piece of his soul. Daemon X laughed and said that while Banging was losing his soul, Daemon X was only gaining more power over him. Soon Banging would be nothing more than his minion. Banging stood there stunned, as Daemon X walked away.

The focus turned to Violent J, who was walking through the backstage area furious in search of Statix. By the time he found him sitting by a water cooler, he had calmed down a little. Statix complimented J on his impressive match. The Y2Juggalo was on a losing streak against Oozaru. Violent J told Statix he had a parable for him. He told Statix there was once a big snake, and this snake gave birth to a little snake who then grew to become a big snake. He also gave birth to a little snake. Violent J asked Statix what he thought the little snake grew up to be. Statix thought it would also turn into a big snake, and Violent J nodded in agreement. The Y2Juggalo told Statix to know who his father is and to be ready, because he would face the a 6’7, 275lbs monster.

Statix vs Hulk Hogan
The arena erupted with boos as Hulk Hogan made his way out to the ring to face Statix. Hogan manhandled Statix, throughout this miss-match, that Violent J had forced Statix into. Statix managed to use his great speed to get the upper hand on Hogan, finishing him off with the Static Slam. Statix celebrated his victory in the ring, and managed to slip out, escaping Hogan’s wrath as he charged at him with a steel chair, taunting Hogan as he left up the ramp.
Winner: Statix via pin fall [4:04]

Godfather and Zeganance hid something behind their back, and waved some smoke away as Violent J burst into their locker room. Violent J told them that he had a mission for them. He went on to explain that if they take out Statix in a handicap match on Aftershock, he would reward them with a shot at the tag team titles at the next main event. Zeganance and Godfather quickly agreed, and wiped some sweat from their foreheads as Violent J left the room.

Michael Lucifer vs Marz
Marz and Michael Lucifer locked up in the center of the ring, as months of history collided between the two. Michael Lucifer used his martial arts techniques in the ring, but it wasn’t enough to take down Marz, who seemingly had some new passion pushing him to the limits. Marz managed to nail Lucifer with a Shotei palm strike and went to the top rope for a Pheonix Splash, and the win.
Winner: Marz via pin fall [4:12]

Marz got in Michael Lucifer’s face and took off up the ramp with rage in his eyes, as Civil Action came to a conclusion. Buddy Luv and Stat Man thanked everyone for tuning in, and told them to be sure to tune in for the return of Aftershock later in the week, guaranteed to be an exciting one.

Special mention:
Steven Oozaru takes another big step in his quest to prove his worth as world champion.

ICWW: Civil Action (Sep 2, 2003)

Episode #37

Stat-Man and Buddy Luv were out of their seats as Civil Action kicked off, taking easy in the heated ICWW arena with rain pouring down outside. Stat-Man told Luv that Marc Scott was matched up against X-Pac later in the night, and he would be accompanied by security, with concerns that someone was hacking ICWW again. Buddy Luv agreed that there had been problems updating the ICWW website, and Marc Scott was under suspicion. Stat-Man then told Buddy Luv that later in the night Michael Lucifer would meet Violent J, with the two of them signed to fight for the tag team championships at Fatal Attractions!

Backstage Banging confronted the International champion, Steven Oozaru, and asked him what was going on. Oozaru looked at his partner puzzled, and Banging said that they had been through a lot of different stages, and breaking the team up for Oozaru's world title hopes he could live with, but seeing him team with Marz and Violent J didn't sit well with him at all. The world champion said he was disappointed that Banging couldn't just be happy for him. He said he was silly to think Banging wouldn't be jealous of his victory, and he thought that was sad.

Loopster versus The Godfather
The Sick One made his way to the ring for a one on one clash against the Godfather, since breaking from the Suck Squad Loopster was looking to raise his profile again. Loopster wasted no time, breaking up the Godfather's ceremonious entrance, attacking him with a running axe handle, before whipping him into the ring. The Godfather used the advantage to hit the ropes, taking Loopster down with a hard clothesline. Loopster stumbled as Godfather hoisted him up, taking him down with a big Samoan drop, stopping to appeal to his ladies and the crowd with a little bouncing. Loopster looked for a school boy, but Godfather kicked out quickly. Loopster hit the ropes, coming back with a flying dropkick, and then connected with a spinning leg drop. With the Godfather down the sick one went up stairs, coming down with a flying elbow drop. Loopster looked for a fall, but the Godfather managed to kick out right at the last second. Loopster helped his opponent to his feet, but found himself with a struggle, with the Godfather throwing desperate right hands at Loopster before locking up with a bear hug! Loopster managed to struggle his way out of the hold, and connected with the sick factor, scoring the cover.
Winner: Loopster via pin fall [4:25]

Gwen Lucifer was in her office when Rockey Rakesh knocked on the door and entered. He said that Steven Oozaru had promised him a title match if he turned on Statix and Lucifer on Aftershock, and he wanted to know why it hadn't been signed. The secretary to the CEO told the firecracker that while Steven Oozaru could suggest a contender, he was in no position to promise matches. She said the best she could do was offer him a contender match later in the night. Rakesh agreed, and before he left Gwen said that there would be one catch, it would not be a no holds barred match up. Rakesh said that was fine by him.

Marc Scott versus X-Pac
Security accompanied Marc Scott on his way to the ring, for a one on one match against recent recruit X-Pac! The young superstar raced to the ring, and went to work, shooting out a series of punches before knocking Scott down with a hard spinning heel kick. Scott hopped to his feet, and tried to slow X-Pac down with a hard shot to the jaw, and a uranagi! X-Pac recovered quickly, showing a lot of heart with another spinning heel kick, and then connected with the x-factor! The rookie superstar made the roll up cover, and scored a pin fall.
Winner: X-Pac via pin fall [2:36]

Backstage Albert Beefcake was with Statix, discussing the current RSI case. Statix speculated that the last message was telling them that Steven Oozaru was a bishop in the attacker's army. They said that much like an attacking bishop, Oozaru snuck in from the side, took the world title, and slipped away again. The Beefer pondered, and agreed that Statix had many good theories, and this was one of them. Albert jotted notes down in his RSI case pad, and told Statix that he should keep on the look out for new clues.

Number one contender match
Rockey Rakesh versus The Nomad
The Heavyweight champion was looking to further his goals in domination with an opportunity to become a dual champion on the line. The little fire cracker was none too happy about the opposition, and it could be seen in his aggressive attack, as he exploded into the ring with a wild Lou Thesz press. The heavyweight champion fought back, taking Rakesh down with a crescent kick, before catching him on the way up with a huge bulldog takedown! The little fire cracker slipped to the outside to gather himself, but the Nomad followed, slamming his opponent face first into the apron. He looked to continue the pain, looking for an Irish whip, but Rakesh managed to counter it, sending the heavyweight champ into the outer side of the turnbuckle! Rockey tore away at the floor, looking to use the exposed floor to his advantage, but walked right into the red mist! Rakesh staggered, giving Nomad time to recover in the ring. As Rakesh looked to enter Nomad brought him in with a vertical suplex, and stomped down on the fallen superstar. He turned to the crowd to appeal when suddenly out of nowhere Rhyno's theme hit and the former champ raced down to the ring and hit the gore on the Nomad! The referee called the match a disqualification, awarding the victory to Nomad.
Winner: The Nomad via disqualification [4:19]

In the back Shane Altmann was with Mints Jones, and asked him how he was feeling with a win on the board already. Jones said he was thrilled to have won his first match in the ICWW, and was about ready to start being taken seriously. He was disappointed not to be on the Civil Action card, but he was using the time to rest. Altmann asked him what encouraged him to agree to work in ICWW. Jones told him that it was all about showing people that he could be a serious competitor. He said moving up the ranks in the little leagues was fine, but he was ready to get him some major league game, and some major league gold. Shane McMahon approached, and told Jones that he shouldn't get out of his class. Mints offered McMahon a dose of mintitude, and a challenge for Fatal Attractions.

Diamond Dallas Page made his way to the ring next, and said that he hoped he was sending a very positive message to all the ICWW fans, and that message was that you can do anything if you set your mind to it. He told fans that he thought Banging was a good sport, and even though it wouldn't be fair to give him another shot at the hardcore title, it was fair to give him a round of applause. Banging stepped out at the entrance way, and told DDP that he could shove his Doctor Phil act up his arse. DDP acknowledged that maybe it was a little show boating of him, and offered Banging a chance to earn his own.

Diamond Dallas Page versus Banging
The hardcore champion tossed his title aside, as Banging raced down to the ring and went on the charge with a running knee, taking DDP down by the jaw. Banging hit the ropes, catching the hardcore champ with a diving forearm. Banging picked the hardcore title up, and held it high above his head for the crowd, before coming down atop DDP with a striking axe kick. The champ was out on his feet, nailing Banging with a desperation low blow. Banging went down, as DDP used the turnbuckle to pull himself up, staggering before smiling to the crowd, and going to work on Banging with unrelenting stomps to the chest. DDP picked Banging up and tied up, but the experience of the first grandslam champion kicked in, seeing him escape and shoot DDP into the ropes, catching him with a dandy Samoan drop! Banging picked the champ up, and slammed him back to the mat with the Kiwi bomb, scoring the cover and mocking DDP with a thumbs up as he took the win.
Winner: Banging via pin fall [4:48]

Elsewhere in the ICWW arena Jason Shamrock was heading for the ICWW gym with his gym bag, when suddenly Chris Benoit came out of nowhere, attacking the shoot fighter from behind in an unprovoked attack! The Canadian crippler proceeded to annihilate Shamrock, throwing him to the arena floor before laying in with the boots, before laughing and walking away, leaving a brutalized Shamrock on the cold floors, with a probable concussion.

Violent J versus Michael Lucifer
Violent J made his way to the ring accompanied by the new Y2Juggalo, Shaggy 2 Dope for his match with Michael Lucifer. The Spirit of Vengeance stalked his way to the ring, storming into the ring, sending VJ and Shaggy scattering. Violent J jumped into the ring, measuring the big man up, before heading straight into the fire. Lucifer unloaded with throat thrusts, driving the tag champ into the corner, before tossing him across the ring with a throat toss! The crowd went wild as the spirit of vengeance picked Violent J up and grabbed him by the throat, but VJ connected with a kick to the midsection, and pounded down on his opponent, before hitting the scissors kick! Violent J took the opportunity to whip the crowd into an even bigger frenzy with the J-arooni! Lucifer staggered to his feet, using the rope to steady him, while Shaggy 2 Dope snuck up on the outside and pulled his feet out from under him! Violent J leapt on the fallen big man, locking up with the walls of juggalo. Lucifer managed to reach for the ropes, forcing J to break the hold. With Lucifer down, J looked to go upstairs, but found himself with no place to go but down, in the form of a shocking death valley driver. Lucifer pulled VJ up and sent him into the ropes, ending it with the devil driver.
Winner: Michael Lucifer via pin fall [5:41]

After the match, Shaggy and Violent J attacked Lucifer as Marz raced down to the ring to help. It wasn't long before Statix, Albert and Abel all made the save, but the damage was already done, gashes on Lucifer's forehead and eyebrow being reopened, as vengeance lay in a pool of blood, with the jokers of the dark lotus cackling like jackals laughing out Civil Action.

Retribution comes for the former grand slam champion, as he looks to make a new name for himself in ICWW.

Rakesh agreed, and before he left Gwen said that there would be one catch. A new referee had been signed, and this was going to be his first match. Rakesh said he didn't mind, as long as he was fair.

Winner: X-Pac via pin fall [2:36]

Backstage Marc Scott was with Shane Altmann was with the Rock, who had just watched Loopster's match on a backstage monitor. The Rock told Altmann that he wasn't impressed by the suck one, and further more he resented the Rock's name being associated with the so-called, Suck Squad. The Rock said he had tremendous respect for Chaos Drone, who obviously had a terrific mind for wrestling, which was why he worshipped the green Earth the Rock walked on, but Loopster and Angle could kiss a monkeys ass for all he cared. Altmann asked the Rock what he thought of his rather long losing streak, which was backtracking the efforts of his very early circa 2002 career. The Rock put his face in Altmann's face, and told him the interview was terminated.

Hardcore championship match
The Hurricane versus Diamond Dallas Page [c]
A special treat for fans with two championship matches on the card for Civil Action, the hardcore title going on the line as Hurricane challenged new champion DDP. The Hurricane wooshed his way to the ring, followed by the champ, who carried a trash can with him to the ring. The two kicked off quickly, Hurricane going straight to work on DDP with pounding shots to the back, followed by a huge tornado DDT. Hurricane was clearly there to play, using the champs trash can lid to plaster the fallen superstar, knocking him silly from right to left. The Hurricane struck a pose to the delight of the crowd, before locking up with a front face lock on DDP, who nailed Hurricane with a low blow, perfectly legal in the hardcore match! Page continued the assault, using his trash can as a lethal weapon against the challenger, before putting the mangled can over Hurricane's head and hitting the diamond cutter! Page wasn't finished, rolling to the outside to fish around under the ring, producing a table! He slid the furniture into the ring, and set it up in the corner, looking to toss Hurricane right into it. The superhero still had some fight left in him, hammering down with punches, but missing an opportunity with an enziguri DDP managed to duck! Page sent Hurricane through the table in the corner with a wild snapmare takeover, and scored the cover to retain the belt.
Winner: Diamond Dallas Page via pin fall [10:36]

Backstage the Lucifer brothers were with Albert Beefcake, who had a concerned look on his face. He examined the small rook piece that Michael had removed from his locker room, which was vandalized with blood and a crucifix at DOA4. Lucifer then produced a note, which read, "You owe me, that one was on me". Albert said that the attack resembled that of the time he bloodied Edge, and tied him to a crucifix before leaving him in Triple H's locker room. Michael Lucifer looked at Albert Beefcake puzzled, and told him that he never did that. Abel and Albert both looked at each other concerned, before Albo made some notes.

Violent J versus Statix
One half of the tag team champions made his way to the ring, Violent J receiving a huge ovation as he made his way to the ring, looking to continue what has been an impressive winning streak, despite brief retirement. Statix headed to the ring, removing his jacket in the corner, allowing Violent J an opportunity to jump him as the match started. J struck down with clubbing fists, sending Statix into the ropes, who leap frogged over J, allowing the sensation to connect with a flying heel. VJ shook the strike off, tying up in a test of muscle, seeing the juggalo hook in an arm wrench, moving it into a modified hammer lock. Statix managed to gramp the top rope, using it to balance himself for a wild back thrust kick, which sent J across the ring. J used the backward momentum to hit the ropes, coming back at Statix with a diving forearm. As Statix tried to climb to his feet, J connected with a toe kick to the gut, and then the scissors kick! Violent J taunted to the crowd, before locking up with Statix and nailing the psycho flip! J went for the cover, but Statix managed to kick out right at the last second! They tied up, Statix scoring a stiff kick to the jaw, which set J in position for the blood bomb, but J managed to fend it off, hitting a second psycho flip and a cover.
Winner: Violent J via pin fall [4:48]

With the headlining International championship match moments away, Buddy Luv and Stat-Man relived highlights of the tag team and world title matches at DOA, which saw this challenge come to fruition, after several uncontrolled attacks. Stat-Man said that with so much on Lucifer's mind, he wondered if he was going to be able to rationally keep his footing in this match, having both Marz and Steven Oozaru to deal with. Buddy Luv acknowledged the threat, but said that Marz was really the one with the most bad blood running against him in the match up.

International championship match
Marz versus Steven Oozaru versus Michael Lucifer [c]
Marz made his way to the ring first, going in with not only a lot of rivalry against him, but also a lot of muscle. The Australian man-mountain in Steven Oozaru made his way to the ring next, the former tag team champion heading into the most important match of his career. The challengers paced in the ring awaiting the entrance of the spirit of vengeance, who stalked his way to the ring, a look of focus on his face, despite all that had been occurring outside the ring. The three superstars all stared toward each other, forming a three way tie-up situation, Oozaru and Lucifer both putting a kick to the smaller Marz, before Lucifer took Oozaru down with a big boot to the face. Lucifer pulled his gloves tight as Marz came at him, clamping down for a chokeslam, but Oozaru made the save, taking it to Lucifer, before sending him reeling with a hefty shove to the corner. Oozaru turned his attentions to the smaller Marz, connecting with a DDT, before picking him up and using him as a projectile to nail the shaken Lucifer against the turnbuckle. The Aussie giant tossed off the crowd, before charging at the two stunned opponents with a running splash. Marz obviously took the brunt of the blow, as Lucifer mounted an offensive against Oozaru, jabbing with throat thrusts across the ring, before unleashing a boxing combination on the challenger. Oozaru used the top rope to keep his balance, as Lucifer avoided a springboard kick from Marz, and scooped him up, dropping him flat with a tombstone piledriver. Lucifer folded Marz' arms, scoring the pin fall, and thus eliminating the tag champ. A poker face was giving nothing away as Lucifer went for Oozaru with a chokeslam in mind, but Oozaru used a desperate low blow to break Lucifer down. Oozaru clamped down on Lucifer, and managed a chokeslam of his own, but not without exhausting himself in the process. With both men struggling to stand, Steven Oozaru found himself up first, and in ripe position to hit the flatliner! He reached his arm out over Lucifer's chest, as the referee counted one, two, three.
Winner: Steven Oozaru via pin fall [11:09]

The shocked crowd was mixed in it's response, as a battle warn Steve Oozaru mounted the turnbuckle, International championship in hand, as Lucifer struggled to stay on his feet on the outside. Lucifer threw his hand up in the air, as he staggered up the entrance way, Oozaru staring on with a smirk on his face, with Civil Action coming to a surprising conclusion!

Special mention:
Steven Oozaru shocked everyone, stepping up to a plate he's never been seen at.

ICWW: Civil Action (Jul 15, 2003)

Episode #35

Buddy Luv and Stat-Man were ringside as Civil Action kicked off, the crowd on their feet. Stat-Man told Buddy Luv that rumors in the backstage area were that the Masked Marvel would make an important announcement later in the night. Buddy Luv stared blankly and asked Stat-Man if he really didn't know who Mr. Alaska was. Stat-Man told Buddy Luv that he just didn't get it, and turned his attentions backstage, as cameras showed the arrival of Michael Lucifer.

Statix was there as Lucifer headed in, and asked him what happened after last week when he was arrested by security. Statix told Lucifer that he knew for a fact that it had nothing to do with the CEO, and proved to security that it was another case of the hacker. Michael Lucifer nodded in response, and then asked if Statix had seen Gwen yet. He said she wasn't in the arena, which forced the look of interest on Lucifer's face to quickly turn to a deep concern.

The Godfather versus Shaggy 2 Dope
In the ring the Godfather was set to take on former hardcore champion, Shaggy 2 Dope in one on one competition. The two tied up and unloaded on each other with a series of punches, the Godfather asserting himself with a powerful lariat. He hit the ropes and jumped Shaggy, as he jumped to his feet and took Godfather down on the way back with a Japanese arm drag. Shaggy went to work, stomping down on the fallen superstar, before heading to the top rope! The Y2Juggalo took too long, allowing the Godfather time to recover, and take him down from upstairs with a huge press slam. Godfather hit a leg drop, and went for the cover but only got a two count. Godfather picked the Y2Juggalo up for the Pimp drop, but Shaggy slipped out and hit the ropes, taking him down with a spinning heel kick. Shaggy went upstairs once again went off the top with a huge senton bomb, and hooked the leg, scoring for himself a three count.
Winner: Shaggy 2 Dope via pin fall [5:28]

Backstage the Nomad was walking past the coffee table when he stopped and look at the hardcore championship he had over his shoulder. He furrowed his brow before asking himself what the hell he was doing with such a crappy belt. He reminded himself that he was a Grand Slam champion, and tossed the belt in a near by trash can, before preparing himself a large cup of java.

In the offices Michael Lucifer was hunched over his wife's desk when his brother Abel entered. Michael immediately questioned him as to the whereabouts of his wife, which only encouraged laughter from Abel. Abel told his brother that he didn't know, but his friend Statix or maybe one of the other guys might. Michael Lucifer's focus sharpened as he asked what Abel meant by that through clenched teeth. Abel told his brother that he was naive, and that Gwen had been playing him for a sucker, and that he wasn't the only one. Shock spread over the face of the spirit of vengeance, before the familiar stone face returned as he shoved his brother aside and stormed out of the room.

Tito Ortiz versus Marc Scott
Tito Ortiz made his way to the ring with an explanation for his absence. He said that fans were unlucky, because they missed the most amazing unofficial bout of the century, when he defeated Jason Shamrock in a street fight. Ortiz told fans that Shamrock wouldn't be showing up any time soon, as he would probably be in traction for a while. Ortiz said that he was ready to make an impact in ICWW, and he'd start tonight in his match against Marc Scott. Scott didn't seem to agree, racing down to the ring to attack Ortiz from behind with hard shots to the back of the head. Ortiz struck back, unloading with a series of elbow shots to the head. Scott was soon opened up, a gash on his forehead the product of stinging elbow shots from Ortiz. Scott managed to make an offense of his own with a Lou Thesz press, and then tied up with Ortiz, taking him down with a fisherman suplex. Ortiz went to the outside and shook the attack off, before returning with a thai kick assault, taking Scott down with an arm wrench, and following it with an arm bar! Scott managed to grab hold of the ropes, forcing the hold to be broken. Marc Scott took a moment on the outside while Ortiz pumped himself up. Scott produced a chair from ringside and headed into the ring, assaulting Ortiz brutally, forcing the referee to disqualify him.
Winner: Tito Ortiz via disqualification [3:36]

The Masked Marvel strutted his way to the ring to a unconvincing Latin sounding theme. He spoke, again in an unconvincing Spanish accent, and told the fans that his mission objective was almost complete, and he would reveal himself very soon. He said that he believed he would be able to unmask himself at the main event, this very weekend, at Highway to Hell, and told all fans to stay tuned. The Marvel did a little dance in the ring, before strutting his way to the back.

On the big screen Marz appeared out on the street. He slung his International championship over one shoulder and turned to the camera. He said that there was nothing like the cold nights breeze against his skin. He said the cold was a perfect reflection of what he felt, and then a sick smile crept across his face, as he pondered if Michael Lucifer felt the same. He said that they had a lot in common, they were both considered dark men, but there was something that betrayed Michael Lucifer. Marz said he'd like everyone to meet his new friend, and dragged a tied up Gwen Lucifer into screen. Marz dragged her left of screen, revealing that they were on a bridge. Gwen's sobs could be heard, as Marz again turned to screen and asked the question, "I wonder, what would happen if you took away the one thing that matters to the spirit of vengeance?" Marz laughed as the camera faded out.

The Rock made his way to the ring next, accompanied by Chaos Drone. He said that the Nomad was a jabroni, and disgraced the championship he once held. The Rock said that the Nomad made him sick, and at Highway to Hell he would bury him underground, where he belonged. He handed the microphone to Chaos Drone who then said Loopster had been being a real jerk off, and said that at Highway to Hell, he had them signed to a special I suck match! Loopster and Kurt Angle stepped out at the entrance way, and Loopster said he accepted the match, but said that would only prove who the superior one of them was. He then challenged the Rock and Chaos to a tag match, right then and there. The Rock snatched the microphone, and said, "just bring it".

Loopster & Kurt Angle versus Chaos Drone & The Rock
Loopster and Chaos Drone opened the match, awkwardly going to work with overhand chops and slaps. They finally broke it up, and Chaos Drone took Loopster down with a running knee lift. Chaos tagged in to his hero, the Rock, who stomped down on the fallen Loopster, and then started talking smack to Kurt Angle. The Referee kept Angle from stepping through the ropes, as the Rock hit Loopster with snap jab, after snap jab, finishing him with a big slap. He stood over the suck one, and peeled his elbow pad off, throwing it into the crowd before hitting the ropes and connecting with the people's elbow. Chaos jumped up and down on the apron in delight as the Rock squatted, waiting for Loopster to make it to his feet. Loopster staggered in a 180 step, walking right into the Rock Bottom, and a pin. The Rock and Chaos Drone rolled out of the ring and shouted trash, leaving Kurt Angle to check on Loopster, who was on his knees crying in the ring.
Winner: The Rock via pin fall [3:42]

Buddy Luv and Stat-Man discussed the happenings of the night when Buddy Luv again brought up the situation of the Masked Marvel. He again asked Stat-Man what he was talking about, and Stat-Man told him that he had better just shut his mouth otherwise he might have to defy the odds, and overcome his injury. Buddy Luv asked Stat-Man how it was possible for a person to break their wrist hailing a bus, and Stat-Man told him not to underestimate the power of public transport.

The Big Screen once again showed Marz on the bridge who apparently had come up with an ultimatum for Michael Lucifer. He said that he had to make a choice, he could either relinquish his shot at the title at Highway to Hell, or watch his wife plummet into the icy waters below them, and possibly end up with a similar paralyzing injury to what he had. Suddenly out of nowhere Michael Lucifer jumped Marz from behind! He pounded down on him, slamming him onto the concrete sidewalk with a chokeslam! Abel Lucifer was there also, and tried to help Marz, along with some street toughs! Michael Lucifer was mobbed by the group, but burst out from the middle, tearing through all of them! As the street toughs ran away, he attacked his brother, and tossed him over the side of the bridge! Marz struggled into a waiting car, and sped away, leaving the monstrous attack behind from the spirit of vengeance. Lucifer turned to his wife, and ripped the ropes that bound her off, before blocking her attempt to hug him. Confused, Gwen stood on the bridge, as Michael Lucifer walked down the middle of the street, alone, as Civil Action came to an end.

Special mention:
The Spirit of Vengeance was in overtime, as Marz continues to play mind games.
