Friday Night Fights (September 30, 2016)

They briefly fought in the dying moments of the Contender Battle Royal at Night of Champions V, but Friday Night Fights was a chance for Hokey & Mimik to show the world that they're still very much The United! Who better to do that than The United's biggest thorns: "The Predator" TonyTheTiger & "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile?

CTR had been forced to find a surrogate at Night of Champions while TonyTheTiger contested the Contender Battle Royal opposite his Friday foes. Hokey & Mimik dominated at Supercard 83, and were happy to reset the record for Shoe & Artanix, who lost to CTR and Poasty! An amazingly powerful performance shut TTT & CTR out of the hard fought match. The result inspired visions of what might be possible if Hokey & Mimik challenged undefeated reigning Duo Division Champions Marz & Violent`J -- but a competitive tension clearly remains between the two!

Hokey failed to secure the Undisputed Championship at Night of Champions, but his Royal Roulette victory in July means he still has the right to challenge for any title - at any time! In the mean while, Mimik will face Battle Royal Runner-Up ElJobber in a #1 Contenders match at Pre-Show 84 - this Sunday, October 2nd!

Poasty's team-up experience at Supercard 83 was a big victory, but the memory of the bizarre scenes of September 16 remain in his mind. On Friday Night Fights, he began a new training regime with "Project Zenkai" fighter Piccolo to increase his power! The battle brought his best out - a tremendous start on the road to Tournament 75: Division 2 Championship V in mid-October!

Overcoming the past of September 16th also helped push ArtemisFlow to the forefront of Division 2 competition! G0LD hoped to avenge a rare loss from that fated edition of Friday Night Fights, but found himself coming up short in a hard fought rematch! The win extends ArtemisFlow's win streak to an impressive five major victories, including his Supercard win over Jerrod!

Also on FNF: "The Invasion" Shen_DuHBK & edge returned fire against The British Exit who staged a British invasion of their on Monday! They found ShawnMichaels and new ally DemoniaX waiting to divide and conquer. ShawnMichaels managed a confident win over edge, but his arch-rival Shen_DuHBK was too strong for DemoniaX.

FNF: Poasty Seeks Zenkai Power

It's been a little over a month since Poasty made his miraculous comeback at August's All-Star Summer Showdown, but it already feels like a lifetime!

His explosive rivalry with Shoe resulted in an unprecedented blitz during a mad Friday Night Fights. That brought Poasty and "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile together against a common enemy at Supercard 83: Night of Champions V. Payback on the big stage was ultimately his through the team-up, but Poasty remains deeply effected by the experiences of his recent history.

Earlier in 2016 he had been a breakout phenomenon, stunning everyone when he beat The Great Genku to win the Division 2 Championship at Pre-Show 80! That career high immediately gave way to a low -- a career threatening injury coming just days later! For months it was unclear if Poasty would ever fight again, but news of his return came, fittingly, at Dead Or Alive IX.

Poasty now seeks the path to greater fighting power and the career high he experienced as Division 2 Champion! In preparation for Tournament 75: Division 2 Championship V (October 13th); Poasty has sought the services of resilient Project Zenkai fighter: Piccolo!

Training begins tomorrow during this week's Friday Night Fights! Don't miss it!

Ratt Calls Out The Invasion

The dream of reigning for 1 full calendar year as Duo Division Champions is the glue that's binding legendary tag team Marz & Violent`J. The rise of Ratt & NightHawk as #1 Contenders at Night of Champions V may have put that dream in jeopardy -- and it's pushed Violent`J to resort to extremes!

During this week's Monday Night Invasion, Violent`J lured NightHawk into a deadly encounter with The Invasion's newest top prospect: LordSkarlet! The battle cost NightHawk a devastating +16 impact and it's prompted Ratt to call The Invasion out for a grudge match at Pre-Show 84!

As a consequence, Violent`J and his star recruit will accept the grudge challenge under the conditions they meet in a Duo Division clash against Ratt & NightHawk! The new match will become the main event of The Invasion sponsored event Pre-Show 84: A Lovely Tea Party!

It's another example of the rift between the Duo Division Champions and Violent`J's distraction with The Invasion. Marz made his displeasure known after VJ was exposed as a sleeper for The Invasion at Dead Or Alive IX. A factor that seems to have rendered them more vulnerable than ever before!

In 2015, Ratt & NightHawk became the only team to ever secure a victory over Marz & Violent`J at Supercard 69: All-Star Summer Showdown! One year later, they fell short in a highly anticipated 2016 All-Star Summer Showdown grudge match for the Duo Division Championship. A return bout could be exactly what the challengers need to end the record setting reign!

Pre-Show 84: A Lovely Tea Party (October 2nd, 2016):
- Ratt & NightHawk versus "The Invasion" Violent`J & LordSkarlet
- United: Mimik versus ElJobber [#1 Contenders]

Supercard 84 (October 9th, 2016):
- [Pre-Show Winner] versus "The Hitman" DECEPTION (c) [Undisputed Championship]
- Ratt & NightHawk versus "Team Xtreme" Marz & Violent`J (c) [Duo Division Championship]

Mimik to Main Event FNF & Pre-Show 84

The United appears to be a team under great strain. Shoe snapped on an edition of Friday Night Fights two weeks ago, and in the Contenders Battle Royal of Supercard 83: Night of Champions V, we saw Hokey unexpectedly turn on Mimik to win a shot at the Undisputed Championship!

In the main event of this week's Friday Night Fights, The United will have a chance to show group solidarity when Hokey & Mimik team-up to take on the alliance that's bedeviled Shoe & Artanix, and took out Mime at All-Star Summer Showdown: TonyTheTiger & CaTigeReptile!

Then in the main event of Supercard 84 - Mimik will get another chance to rise to the Undisputed Championship when he faces Night of Champions rival ElJobber in a #1 Contender match! The first weekend in an action packed October -- this Sunday, October 2nd!

Pre-Show 84 (October 2nd, 2016):
- United: Mimik versus ElJobber [#1 Contenders Match]

Supercard 84 (October 9th, 2016):
- [Pre-Show Winner] versus "The Hitman" DECEPTION (c) [Undisputed Championship]
- Ratt & NightHawk versus "Team Xtreme" Marz & Violent`J (c) [Duo Division Championship]

Monday Night Invasion (September 26, 2016)

For months "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet & The Fallen have been a fixture of Monday Night Invasion, and although they had their differences with The Invasion earlier in the year, they were brought into the fold during the final Monday of September!

Violent`J was the catalyst for bringing The Fallen into the growing Invasion line-up, believing LordSkarlet could be the fighter to bring the Undisputed Championship to The Invasion! Behind the scenes, he and DaemonX debated who has the greatest potential to achieve the feat. Despite his recent KFL Championship loss at Pre-Show 83, VJ sees LordSkarlet as the new blood they need to upset the establishment. DaemonX, however, favors the proven track record of 3-time champion The Great Genku -- something Violent`J is cynical about after witnessing first-hand his early elimination from the Night of Champions Battle Royal! The Invasion figureheads set each a special opponent on Monday Night Invasion to test their mettle.

The American Nightmare dominated one-half of the new Duo Division #1 Contenders: NightHawk! The gambit was clearly designed to avoid a title rematch for Marz & Violent`J, but risks courting the wrath of his Hall of Fame partner: Ratt! LS was dominant in the +16 beatdown, but not enough to put NightHawk on the shelf, meaning Team Xtreme's 1 year reign is still in jeopardy!

The Great Genku found himself facing off against a beloved former ICWW Heavyweight Champion, Great Arena Hall of Famer, and recent addition to The Alliance faction: Rockey316! Though he had a tougher time, Genku was successful in his main event task, extracting a +3 impact from the Indian Legend! Genku then redirected his focus in victory, warning "The Chosen One" Damo that their Night of Champions encounter won't be forgotten! Damo eliminated Genku from title contention.

The admission of The Fallen into The Invasion only made the continuing feud between Alliance recruit UlcaTron and his former teammates run deeper. Attempt to right the loss of their Trios battle at Supercard 83, UlcaTron & PaganFreak challenged Corrupt hydraslash and new partner Corrupt MINION! Another hard fought match saw a positive return on The Invasion's investment, the new Fallen Duo victorious!

In other eventful results: VJ recruit Shaggy2Dope had an unexpected draw with The_Hurricane. Disgruntled would-be KFL contender Jason_Voorhees finally scored a grudge match win against deadpool. "British Exit" Liam & nif made another cheeky invasion on Monday Night, suffering defeat at the hands of ShawnMichaels's arch-rival Shen_DuHBK & edge.

Monday Night Invasion: Week 29 (September 26, 2016):
7. The Great Genku d. Rockey316 [+3]
6. "The Fallen" Corrupt hydraslash & Corrupt MINION d. "The Alliance" UlcaTron & PaganFreak [+1]
5. "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet d. NightHawk [+16]
4. AlbertBeefcake d. Chromatose [+1]
3. Jason_Voorhees d. deadpool [+1]
2. Shaggy2Dope & The_Hurricane fought to a complete standstill!
1. Shen_DuHBK & edge d. "The British Exit" Liam & nif [+1]

Weekly Rankings Recap - 9/25/2016

The Undisputed Championship picture was made no clearer by the events of Supercard 83: Night of Champions V! United: Hokey joins a list of the very best competitors in the league to have faced the reign of DECEPTION and failed. Of course, one thing separates Hokey from the likes of Genku, The_Purple_Bunny, TonyTheTiger and VenoMark -- and that's the second-chance opportunity of his Royal Roulette win! Less a question of if he'll get a rematch -- but when!?

October will be a double Supercard month, meaning there should be plenty of time to establish new contenders coming out of the Night of Champions scramble! There will also be a Division 2 Championship tournament to commemorate the anniversary of the title, which was won anew by "The Secret Weapon" SubScorpTile this past Sunday.

Night of Champions V left one thing clear: Ratt & NightHawk are once again the #1 Contenders to the Duo Division Championship! Their win over DaemonX & Banging ends the title deadlock orchestrated by The Invasion, and once again puts heavy strain on Marz & Violent`J's ability to stretch their record setting reign to 1 full calendar year!

After Supercard 83, Team Xtreme have reached 336 days as undefeated Duo champions! They need only survive October to reach the coveted 365 day mark, but with Violent`J's increased role with The Invasion taking more priority, the pair remains deeply fractured. Ratt & NightHawk came up short at All-Star Summer Showdown, but remain the only team to have ever defeated the champs in The Great Arena! A factor that could tip the rematch opportunity in their advantage!

Supercard 83: Night of Champions V

Many obstacles must be breached before one can be considered among the pantheon of legendary fighters. There are the immortalizing moments of Ultimate Grand Prix and All-Star Summer Showdown, the endurance challenge of Grand Slam Tournaments, and the supremacy of Battle Royale. Each is a vital cog in the machine of greatness, but mere stepping stones on the path to the glory that is the coveted Undisputed Championship!

The trial of the Undisputed Champion is constant. It is a lineage of greatness. An inheritance of glory and responsibility that is both honor and burden! With the crushing pressures of the title comes the refinement of a fighter like carbon into diamond. Those who have tasted its glory become part of something greater than themselves. For one night in every year - this continuum is breached, and the former champions are granted another shot at the big time! This is Night of Champions V!

12. "The Hitman" DECEPTION (c) defeated United: Hokey in convincing fashion! [+1] [Undisputed Championship]
A stunning Night of Champions Battle Royal delivered Hokey to the main event everybody had been waiting for. It wasn't without its trials -- ending in a finish nobody could've seen coming! Could this exhausting match produce a new Undisputed Champion, or was momentum too much to ask for? A Trios loss at Pre-Show 83: Generation Warfare delivered a wounded DECEPTION, but his ability to rise to the occasion of title defenses has become legendary. Indeed, DECEPTION was in fine form at Night of Champions! History dictates that no champ has ever actually lost his gold at the annual event, and at Supercard 83, that tradition would not be broken.

When these old rivals parted, the Undisputed Championship remained decisively with The New Generation! This is hardly the end for this storied contest, though. As winner of Royal Roulette, Hokey retains the right to challenge for any title at any moment! The coveted double-chance may mean Night of Champions was merely a dress rehearsal for the rematch to come! A battle you can bet DECEPTION will meet head-on! Stay tuned to a massive October of action in The Great Arena!

11. Ratt & NightHawk defeated "The Invasion" DaemonX & Banging [+1] [Duo #1 Contenders]
With an unexpected victory over Tournament 74: Grand Slam [Doubles]: DaemonX & Banging announced themselves as a major force enacting upon the Duo Division! They defeated a string of the league's best to become #1 Contenders, but questions concerning their Invasion allegiance to Duo champ Violent`J were quickly answered by the Hall of Famer's entry into the Night of Champions Battle Royal. Rather than interrupt the record setting reign of Team Xtreme, DaemonX & Banging would help prolong - indulging VJ's distraction as guardian contenders. It was a tactic that made Ratt & NightHawk sick -- leading to an inevitable challenge for contention! Ratt beat DaemonX during the Summer Grand Slam, and that familiarity may have helped. With NightHawk, they were surprise Round 1 exits in Tournament 74 - a hard follow-up to their grudge-laden title defeat at All-Star Summer Showdown! At Night of Champions, they bounced back in a legendary battle between two of the most potent forces in the Duo Division today! Ratt & NightHawk remain the only team to have ever beaten Marz & Violent`J in The Great Arena! As #1 Contenders again, their unity in a second chance match could be the final undoing of Team Xtreme - right as they approach an unprecedented record of 1 full calendar year as champions! Supercard 83 marks their 336th day as champs!

10. CaTigeReptile & Poasty defeated "The United" Shoe & Artanix in a competitive match! [+1]
Supercard 81: Royal Roulette was the stage that saw The United reform as a dominating force in The Great Arena. They ditched new manager DArqueBishop and welcomed back injured leader Shoe, using their strength of numbers to earn prodigal son Hokey the Royal Roulette win. Victims of the tactic TonyTheTiger & CaTigeReptile aligned against the common enemy to take out Mime in a 2-on-1 ambush at All-Star Summer Showdown! Shoe & Artanix picked up the tab on the payback, even as Shoe found a new enemy in Poasty! The cool façade of The United cracked when Shoe went mad on Poasty on the September 16th edition of Friday Night Fights! TTT & CTR came to his aid, but suffered for it at Pre-Show 83! With TonyTheTiger taking advantage of his eligibility to enter the Night of Champions Battle Royal -- "The Guardian" CTR and Poasty united against their common enemy. Remarkably, they found the perfect synergy to match Shoe & Artanix' expert Duo Division assault! They matched the team blow for blow, surpassing them just enough to earn an impressive victory! It's a catharsis for Poasty, who overcame a career threatening injury to return at All-Star Summer Shodown -- only to be beaten, and brutalized by Shoe! A major career win!

9. "The Fallen" LordSkarlet, Corrupt hydraslash & Corrupt MINION defeated "The Alliance" UlcaTron, Rockey316 & PaganFreak in a close fought contest. [+1]
The Corruption of UlcaTron's soul lifted mysteriously after Supercard 79, and finally played out on September 5th when he turned on LordSkarlet & The Fallen! The strange case of UlcaTron became clearer after the fact - inspired by the return of m0s at Dead Or Alive IX! It wasn't the elusive former KFL Booker who came to UlcaTron's aid in a Trios grudge match, however, but rather his new allies in The Alliance! Their mission: to defeat LordSkarlet's Fallen, who unveiled a new third member at Night of Champions -- the forgotten soul of Corrupt MINION! He reunited with Lucifer's Ladder teammate Corrupt hydraslash to make a devastating new whole! The Alliance fought well, but it's clear the new Fallen are destined to be every bit as dangerous as the old version!

8. Statix (c) defeated Loopster in convincing fashion. [+1] [KFL Championship]
A three-way contenders match on September 19 delivered Loopster to his title opportunity at Night of Champions. It was a panicked dash for The Invasion, who've felt renewed pressure with Alliance fighter Statix reclaiming the title at Pre-Show 83! Loopter fought well against his countryman, but The Alliance champ was too strong. A significant victory with tensions between the groups heating up anew since Jauger's defection at All-Star Summer Showdnw!

7. "The Invasion" Shen_DuHBK, Jason_Voorhees & edge defeated "The British Exit" ShawnMichaels, Liam & nif in a solid victory. [+1]
A recent spate of chaos during Monday Nights has emboldened the exiles of The British Exit! They were forced from The Invasion by failure at Pre-Show 81, further humiliated by their former teammates at All-Star Summer Showdown! The common link between matches was Shen_DuHBK -- the focus of misery for ShawnMichaels! Liam & nif set the stage for payback during a win on the September 5th edition of Monday Night Invasion, but Jason_Voorhees & edge fired back at Pre-Show 83, fuelled by Jason's loss to Liam in Round 2 of the Summer Grand Slam. The net result of which was another frustrating loss for the Britons at Supercard 83! The result was never in doubt as The Invasion's old allies reunited for a comfortable win.

6. "The New Generation" Baraka_MK & Onryo defeated "The Invasion" Chromatose & Shaggy2Dope in a comprehensive victory. [+1]
The New Generation has been at odds with The Invasion ever since Loopster started talking trash about their Undisputed Champion: DECEPTION. The machinations of the group have led them to work to keep Baraka_MK & Onryo out of the Duo Division title chase! At Night of Champions, it was the challenge of Chromatose & Shaggy2Dope to keep them at bay. A task the inexperienced Duo fighters were woefully unqualified for! The New Generation were comprehensive victors, free to watch the Duo Division #1 Contenders match later in the night with intense interest!

5. "The Secret Weapon" SubScorpTile defeated Benjamin (c) in a solid win. [+1] [Division 2 Championship
The Division 2 Championship has seen some exciting matches and intense rivalries throughout 2016, but few have had the competitive weight of SubScorpTile and Benjamin's! Their rivalry peaked at Ultimate Grand Prix VI, where Benjamin seemingly ridded himself of the so-called "Secret Weapon". SST has fought hard to remain in the title hunt, claiming a 2 day reign in August with his surprise win at Dead Or Alive IX! He narrowly missed an All-Star Summer Showdown duel with his rival. Fate instead conspired to bring them together at Night of Champions, where it was finally SST who got the better of Benjamin!

4. Jammer2Omega & Porygonix defeated rxvt & deadly in a strong result. [+2]
Few teams have embodied the spirit of 2016 like Jammer2Omega & Porygonix, but a defeat at All-Star Summer Showdown reminded them they still have a long way to go to be the best in the league! rxvt & deadly knocked off KittyKat & JoelKatz after their upset win at Tournament 74, and backed it up with a Pre-Show 83 rematch. They proved a decent test for J2O & Pory, but nothing the rising combination couldn't handle.

3. ArtemisFlow defeated Jerrod in a hard fought contest. [+1]
With his stand-out performance for Team Canada; Jerrod impressed at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games! ArtemisFlow was at the Games, too, but it's been subsequent performances that have earned Div.2 prominence. Jerrod picked up an elimination win over the Fin in Round 2 of the Summer Grand Slam. At Supercard 83, the result was flipped! A hard fought encounter giving ArtemisFlow a streak of four straight wins!

2. "The Greek Crisis" maxilos & proXade defeated KittyKat & JoelKatz in a solid win. [+1]
In the First Round of Tournament 74: Grand Slam [Doubles]: KittyKat & JoelKatz shocked the world by eliminating Ratt & NightHawk! Following up on the phenomenal upset is proving difficult for the duo, though. "Greek Crisis" maxilos & proXade were more than happy to rain on their parade, executing a convincing win on the Supercard stage.

1. United: Hokey eliminated ElJobber to win the Night of Champions Battle Royal!
- 1. Damo elim. Kron
- 2. Damo elim. Genku
- 3. VenoMark elim. TonyTheTiger
- 4. Mimik elim. VenoMark
- 5. ElJobber elim. Damo
- 6. Mimik elim. Violent`J
- 7. Hokey elim. The_Purple_Bunny
- 8. Hokey elim. Mimik
- 9. Hokey elim. ElJobber

At the toll of the opening bell: First strike went to ElJobber, who caught Hokey with a devastating blow! The significance of that strike would not emerge until the end of the match. Instead ElJobber went on a whirlwind tour of rivals, delivering hits to The_Purple_Bunny, Mimik and Violent`J! From there the Battle Royal erupted into an all-out melee of mutual destruction! Fighters smashed against one another like atoms in a collider! Amidst the chaos, Genku and TonyTheTiger briefly curbed ElJobber. VenoMark found himself caught between a pack of six fighters, as well! Mere previews to one second after the six minute mark! At that moment, every fighter's attention was drawn to one figure: Kron!

The Hall of Famer had been the first fighter to declare his entry into the match, announced after a big comeback win at All-Star Summer Showdown! Identified as perhaps the greatest threat in the match - all nine other competitors descended upon Kron! The 9-on-1 beat down left him all but incapacitated! A tactically sound move by all, but a morally reprehensible betrayal of the 'every man for himself' philosophy of the battle! Kron would stagger through a few more hits largely ignored, until "The Chosen One" Damo capitalized to claim the first elimination!

Prior to the mob, it was The Great Genku who'd been trading blows with Kron. He really made no attempt to make friends, alternating between assaults of Kron, ElJobber, The_Purple_Bunny and Damo. This too would eventually lead the field to turn briefly against a single competitor - Genku suffering an almost identical fate as Kron! His Invasion teammate Violent`J tried to come to his aid, but the damage was already done. A second opportunistic elimination for Damo!

United teammates Hokey and Mimik used their aligned Battle Royal expertise to step to the fore. TonyTheTiger tried to form an equalizing alliance with The_Purple_Bunny against his nemesis, but TPB proved more interested in his own glory! The_Purple_Bunny turned on TTT, leaving him wide open for VenoMark to score the elimination! A fact that didn't earn any loyalty from The United! Mimik took great delight in eliminating the nemesis who caused him so much pain at Ultimate Grand Prix VI! Damo was happy to see VenoMark go, too, having just made it back from his own Steel Cage Fight loss at All-Star Summer Showdown!

His recent rival removed: Damo found himself in the crosshairs of current Duo Division Champion - Violent`J! VJ and Marz shattered the Championship duration record previously held by "The Service Krew" Damo & DeathScepter, defeating the pair at Tower of Power XVI. VJ was once again the instrument of destruction for Damo, setting him up for elimination at the hands of ElJobber! The fight clearly took too much out of The Invasion's Y2Juggalo, though. Mimik got him!

With The Final Four split between two members of The United, and the former "2-Man Ratt Trap" ElJobber & The_Purple_Bunny, things may've seemed even. Mimik's aggressions against TPB and a double-team effort by the pair proved too much for The_Purple_Bunny, though. A quick exit having little to do with ElJobber, who was now alone against 2016 Royal Roulette winner Hokey and 2012 Battle Royale winner/one-time "King of the Battle Royal" Mimik!

Recognizing overwhelming odds, ElJobber went on the offensive! Himself a 2-time winner of the Battle Royale match, he looked okay caught between opponents, but then something truly shocking happened. ElJobber managed to convince Hokey to double-team the King of the Battle Royal! To the shock of everybody watching, Hokey and Mimik continued to brawl - neither willing to concede the title opportunity to the other! ElJobber stepped back to let United teammates duel, but he was soon dragged back into the brawl. All three exchanged blows until Mimik and ElJobber became locked in a brutal one-on-one face-off! As ElJobber started to get the advantage -- Hokey struck a knockout blow and eliminated his teammate! The match was to end the way it began, with ElJobber trying to ambush Hokey! Exhausted - they both threw bombs from way down deep.; In the end, Hokey was simply too fresh to be beaten! He eliminated ElJobber to complete the speculated double-chance of a title shot in the main event -- with his Royal Roulette title opportunity in the proverbial back pocket!

Friday Night Fights (September 23, 2016)

A Division 2 Championship match at Supercard 83: Night of Champions V was on the line in a hotly anticipated Friday Night Fights main event! Former champions SubScorpTile and avenger45 met in a repeat of the September 9 showdown -- itself a grudge match born out of their back to back title battles on the August 12 and August 19 editions of FNF!

Those past encounters ultimately went in favour of "The Secret Weapon", who found himself squeezed out of the Div.2 title picture at the last minute before All-Star Summer Showdown! This time it was a different story, as SubScorpTile showed a level of poise and experience that clearly separated the two fighters. avenger45 was a surprise Div.2 champ who won the vacant title at Tournament 69. SST will be glad to finally renew his long rivalry against reigning champ: Benjamin!

Whomever walks out of the September 25th title bout will have plenty of contenders nipping at their heels! Jerrod picked up a win over Pre-Show 83 challenger Politics that makes a compelling case for future contention! ArtemisFlow is going from strength to strength, impressing everyone with a huge win against Murdoink! The sensation known as G0LD was able to bounce back from his defeat last week with a hard-hitting comprehensive victory!

Night of Champions V is this weekend - Sunday, September 25th! Last week's bizarre Friday Night Fights will be on everyone's minds when CaTigeReptile & Poasty team to take on "The United" Shoe & Artanix! A who's who of former Undisputed Champions will also enter the annual Night of Champions match -- with "The Hitman" DECEPTION waiting to defend his title in the main event! Do not miss the only Supercard in September!

Entering Night of Champions: VenoMark

On one night in September every year past Undisputed Champions are given the opportunity to reclaim the glory they once held. This is Night of Champions - an annual event that gathers former title holders into one epic Elimination Contender Battle Royal! The winner ultimately earns the right to advance to the night's main event, where they'll face the reigning Undisputed Champion!

Seven former champions have been confirmed throughout the month: Kron, ElJobber, The Great Genku, United: Hokey, "The Predator" TonyTheTiger, Violent`J & United: Mimik. That list can officially grow by one more with the addition of VenoMark!

VenoMark has been aggressively chasing the Undisputed Championship throughout much of 2016. He got his long awaited opportunity in July at Supercard 81: Royal Roulette, but found himself unable to budge determined old rival DECEPTION!

It was VenoMark's King of the Death Match victory over DECEPTION in late 2014 that set him up for his first and only reign as Undisputed Champ. He won the title at Supercard 59: Battle Royale, defeating m0s in the second of three hard fought battles. m0s reclaimed the title in time to feature in the main event of Ultimate Grand Prix V in a February rematch.

In July, VenoMark was the winner of the 2015 Royal Roulette match. In November, he elected to challenge The Great Genku for the Undisputed Championship at Supercard 72: Survival Sequence - The Payoff. The move shunted Mimik out of the title picture, sparking a feud between the two that culminated in a Steel Cage Fight at Ultimate Grand Prix VI!

Will VenoMark be able to call upon his past experiences to win the Battle Royal and defeat DECEPTION for the ultimate prize? Or will this rogues gallery of accomplished past foes combine to keep the title out of reach? The answers await this Sunday, September 25th at Supercard 83: Night of Champions V!

3 Grudge Matches for Supercard 83

With "The Predator" TonyTheTiger set to enter the annual Night of Champions Battle Royal -- "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile will be without her primary ally in the fight against The United. After a devastating loss at Pre-Show 83, CTR isn't about to let Shoe & Artanix walk away scot-free! Poasty will step in for TTT, gladly pursuing a rivalry against Shoe that reached intense heights with a bizarre meltdown on September 16! It's sure to be another intense battle!

PLUS: While DECEPTION defends the Undisputed Championship against the challenge of the Night of Champions Battle Royal winner -- the rest of The New Generation will have to deal with The Invasion! The trio were defeated against The Invasion's best at Pre-Show 83: Generation Warfare. How will they handle two of The Invasion's newest recruits: Chromatose & Shaggy2Dope?

The Invasion will also be involved in a bitter struggle of trios when Shen_DuHBK, Jason_Voorhees & edge team up to put away their mutual nemesis "The British Exit" ShawnMichaels, Liam & nif!

Monday Night Invasion (September 19, 2016)

Scott-Howell returned to Monday Night Invasion as impending Night of Champions festivities influenced The Invasion's quick response to an Alliance KFL Championship win at Pre-Show 83: Generation Warfare!

While Jason_Voorhees pursued deadpool for stealing away the one-on-one title opportunity he's been chasing since Dead Or Alive IX; two of The Invasion's other promising prospects were placed into a KFL #1 Contenders match in the main event. Recent Euro recruit Chromatose competed with Loopster to be the fighter who brings the gold back to The Invasion. As a courtesy to the tradition of the annual Night of Champions match: 4-time KFL Champion Scott-Howell was invited to compete to make it a three-way scramble. He succeeded in taking Chromatose out of the battle, but the ever boastful Loopster was too strong! He'll challenge Statix this Sunday, September 25th at Supercard 83: Night of Champions V!

Now former KFL Champion, LordSkarlet, was free to pursue UlcaTron for turning his back on The Fallen on the September 5th edition of Monday Night Invasion! Rockey316 rejoined UlcaTron as he did last week, this time officially billed as The Alliance! They were able to fight off LordSkarlet and Corrupt hydraslash, but The Fallen did not go quietly into the night! LordSkarlet told UlcaTron and his new friends in The Alliance to bring three of their best to Supercard 83, because The Fallen will be a trio once again on the Night of Champions!

The Great Genku prepared for his Night of Champions appearance, executing a devastating +22 impact against Alliance leader AlbertBeefcake! Albo's partner The_Hurricane did much better, enduring an assault by returning ally to Violent`J - Shaggy2Dope! Former allies PaganFreak and Jauger continued their bitter feud in another match that went the way of The Alliance, too.

Monday Night Invasion: Week 28 (September 19, 2016):
8. Loopster d. Scott-Howell & Chromatose [+1/--/-1] [KFL #1 Contenders]
7. deadpool d. Jason_Voorhees [+1]
6. "The Alliance" UlcaTron & Rockey316 d. "The Fallen" LordSkarlet & Corrupt hydraslash [+1]
5. The Great Genku d. AlbertBeefcake [+22]
4. The_Hurricane d. Shaggy2Dope [+4]
3. PaganFreak d. Jauger [+1]
2. MattHardy d. Jericho [+1]
1. "The Greek Crisis" maxilos & proXade d. TripleH & WilliamRegal [+1]

Supercard 83: Night of Champions V (September 25th, 2016):
- [Battle Royal Winner] versus "The Hitman" DECEPTION (c) [Undisputed Championship]
- Night of Champions Elimination Battle Royal featuring: Kron, ElJobber, The Great Genku, United: Hokey, United: Mimik, "The Predator" TonyTheTiger and Violent`J (c).
- Ratt & NightHawk versus "The Invasion" DaemonX & Banging [Duo #1 Contenders]
- Loopster versus Statix (c) [KFL Championship]
- "The Fallen" LordSkarlet, Corrupt hydraslash & [TBA] versus "The Alliance" UlcaTron, Rockey316 & [TBA]

Weekly Rankings Recap - 9/18/2016

Non-title matches always risk a champion's credibility, and DECEPTION has to be feeling the heat after the main event loss at Pre-Show 83: Generation Warfare! It was exciting to see the complete New Generation in action for just the second time since they reunited in the first quarter, but it may not be worth it, especially one week before DECEPTION defends the title against a former champ at Supercard 83: Night of Champions V!

"American Nightmare" LordSkarlet has really come into his own over the past month, so it was easy to forget Statix only dropped the KFL Championship in a 6-man Eliminator -- LordSkarlet's third attempt. It's a big development in the battle between The Invasion and The Alliance, which seems to be heating back up. The Alliance may be fewer in number, but they remain a strong group.

It's been 329 days since "Team Xtreme" Marz & Violent`J won the Duo Division Championship -- keeping The Invasion in the gold thanks to VJ's affiliation. DaemonX & Banging look strong as #1 Contenders, using their status to extend the defense cycle towards a full calendar year for the champs! They handled The New Generation well, but still have the test of Ratt & NightHawk at Supercard 83!

Ratt's Duo Division pursuit means he won't be in the Night of Champions Battle Royal -- a significant factor in opening the match up. So far we have three Hall of Famers entering: Kron, Mimik and Violent`J. The Great Genku will be chasing a title rematch against DECEPTION, taking great confidence from his Pre-Show 83 win!

The status of the Division 2 Championship is up in the air, but several fighters have been scrambling to earn the shot. Recent former champions avenger45 and SubScorpTile look likely as contenders after Politics' loss.

Pre-Show 83: Generation Warfare

For only the second time this year, The Great Arena would be treated to the complete New Generation in trios action! Their foes are members of The Invasion -- rivals for the Undisputed and Duo Division Championships. Remnants of a past era issuing a spiteful challenge to the defining faces of the present era. This is the Generation Warfare giving Pre-Show 83 a phenomenal main event!

DECEPTION has spent the year proving he's a fighting champion, welcoming the challenges of the Olympic Games and Grand Slam Tournaments in stride. He joined Baraka_MK & Onryo with no concern for his upcoming defense of the Undisputed Championship at Supercard 83: Night of Champions V. Selflessness Genku and The Invasion took full advantage of! It was one helluva fight, but in the end, The Invasion were able to eke out a hard fought victory against the group. Status quo for Duo Division #1 Contenders DaemonX & Banging - but an ominous sign for Genku's plans to rewrite the disappointment of All-Star Summer Showdown!

The Invasion were all over Pre-Show 83, but their greatest defeat may have come without their direct involvement. Alliance fighter Statix took back the KFL Championship, won by LordSkarlet at Pre-Show 82 under controversial circumstances! The comprehensive win is just the latest switch in a to-and-fro struggle between the warring factions. Violent`J keeps gold in The Invasion's war chest as one-half of the reigning Duo Division Champions. He'll join Genku in the Night of Champions Battle Royal next weekend in an effort to bring the Undisputed Championship to their side!

TonyTheTiger will be in the Night of Champions match as well -- forcing a showdown between The United and The Predator & The Guardian to the Pre-Show! The unlikely alliance was born of The United's manipulation of the Royal Roulette match. The feud began individually at Pre-Show 82, but exploded with a 2-on-1 ambush on Mime at All-Star Summer Showdown! Tensions have persisted, culminating in a bizarre meltdown by Shoe during this week's Friday Night Fights! He and Artanix were all full of piss and vinegar as they charged their rivals! The experienced duo were in top form, leaving nothing to doubt as they comprehensively beat down the all-star pairing!

The fight was much closer when ShawnMichaels of The British Exit managed to score a hard fought win against his recurring rival Shen_DuHBK! At All-Star Summer Showdown Shen had switched sides from The European Union he joined at Pre-Show 81, to The Invasion who once again beat The Brexiters! It was a minor consolation victory, but ShawnMichaels never the less has revenge.

Corrupt hydraslash couldn't overcome the liberated offensive of his turncoat teammate UlcaTron. The Curious Case of UlcaTron has been well documented, inevitably leading to a showdown between the former Duo Division partners at Pre-Show 83! UlcaTron found an ally on Monday, but was more than happy to fight alone, compelling his Corrupt former-partner to see the light. He did not.

The Division 2 fighters were on show at Pre-Show 83. as well! Hopeful challenge Politics wasn't able to put together a title winning offensive against Benjamin. This will force him back into the mix, where recent formers champs avenger45 and "The Secret Weapon" SubScorpTile have pushed their way back to the front of the contender's line. With Night of Champions V putting the focus on former title holders, this could be the perfect time for one or both to earn a championship rematch!

Pre-Show 83 could have major consequences on the coming week's action! Supercard 83: Night of Champions V is next Sunday -- September 25th! Make sure you're here for all the weekly action and announcements coming before the annual major!

Pre-Show 83: Generation Warfare (September 18, 2016):

Entering Night of Champions: Mimik

Poasty must have been relieved to see "The Predator" TonyTheTiger and CaTigeReptile during yesterday's bizarre edition of Friday Night Fights -- but the hard-hitting save against The United may be something TTT lives to regret!...

Mimik is part of the legendary class of first year Undisputed Champions who were crowned in 2011. His reign came suddenly at the expense of Ratt, who was dethroned just one week after winning his second title, at the special presentation: Feast Or Famine!

Mimik enjoyed a brief, but difficult reign throughout October of 2011. He defended successfully against ElJobber and Mime, but eventually lost the gold in November to future teammate Hokey at Supercard 16: War Games. He would remain a satellite contender thereafter, having his greatest shot when he won Battle Royale 2012 and faced Crow in the main event of Ultimate Grand Prix II - Test of the Best!

There were no more championship wins in Mimik's future, but his reputation for dominating Battle Royal matches ultimately led to his induction into the Hall of Fame at the end of 2013. As of now he becomes the third Hall of Famer entering Night of Champions V alongside Kron and Violent`J.

Mimik enters as a member of The United, having been recruited into the group by DArqueBishop at Pre-Show 81. The original line-up re-formed to kick DAB out during the Royal Roulette match in July, but retained Mimik as their newest member. A key member who returned to the group at that time was Hokey, after he'd been controversially fired by DArqueBishop in April.

TonyTheTiger & CaTigeReptile became aligned as a result of suffering at the hands of The United's numbers game at Royal Roulette. A former Undisputed Champion himself, "The Predator" TTT has already been announced as an entrant into the Night of Champions match -- where he'll now again face odds stacked in favour of The United!

Will Mimik help his United teammate earn the Undisputed Championship double chance? Or will the one-time "King of the Battle Royal" use the preferred format to rise back to the top of competition? All questions will be answered September 25th when The Great Arena plays host to a star studded Supercard 83: Night of Champions V!

Friday Night Fights (September 16, 2016)

It started out like a Friday Night Fights of any other week, but September 16th will be remembered as the day Shoe snapped! The United fighter has been embroiled in several rivalries since his return in July, but nobody could've been prepared for his reaction to a challenge from Poasty!

Their Great Arena issues started at the Summer Grand Slam, where Shoe defeated Poasty in the First Round. It was supposed to be part of Poasty's own comeback from a devastating injury, but the early draw positioned him unfavorably against a tournament veteran.

Poasty came for payback on the September 2nd edition of Friday Night Fights, involving himself in a grudge match between Shoe and TonyTheTiger. He didn't get the desired result then, but on this week, Shoe's undivided attention delivered more than Poasty bargained for!

The initial challenge wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Shoe inflicted +2 impact in what seemed to be an comprehensive victory, but that's where things started to get strange. Shoe demanded another match start, executing a second solid win. Again Shoe challenged for another match - exacting another solid win! He demanded yet another bout, which gave Poasty a chance to summon a second wind -- but the victory did nothing to stop the bizarre scene!

Shoe continued to issue repeating challenges until "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile intervened -- rushing into The Great Arena to cut Shoe off with devastating efficiency! A MAX Damage impact put a stop to Shoe's endlessly repeating challenges. An attempted save by Shoe's Duo partner United: Artanix was met by CTR's ally "The Predator" TonyTheTiger -- himself destroying Artanix!

CTR & TTT forged an alliance out of The United's manipulation of the 2016 Royal Roulette match, and have been one of the primary rivalries pursuing Shoe & The United. It was fortunate for Poasty, but it seems unlikely that this will be the final chapter!

Friday Night Fights (September 16, 2016):
10. "The Predator" TonyTheTiger d. United: Artanix [+12]
9. "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile d. United: Shoe [+MAX]
8. United: Shoe d. Poasty [+3]
7. United: Shoe d. Poasty [+1]
6. Poasty d. United: Shoe [+2]
5. United: Shoe d. Poasty [+1]
4. United: Shoe d. Poasty [+1]
3. United: Shoe d. Poasty [+2]

Ratt Eyes Title at Night of Champions

As one of the greatest Undisputed Champions of all-time; Ratt could be expected to lead the charge in this month's Night of Champions V Contender Battle Royal. Indeed, the Hall of Fame legend has gold on his mind -- but it's the Duo Division Championship he has his sights fixed on!

Ratt & NightHawk are the only team in the league to hold a win over indomitable Duo Division Champions: Marz & Violent`J. A fact that buoyed their All-Star Summer Showdown campaign, born of Ratt's spiteful victory over Violent`J in the final of the 2016 Mid-Year Grand Slam.

It will have been 336 days of Team Xtreme's title reign when Supercard 83 arrives - but Violent`J has no intentions of defending the title! That was made abundantly clear with the announcement he will instead enter the Night of Champions match!

It's no secret Ratt doesn't much like Violent`J, and after facing DaemonX in the Third Round of the Summer Grand Slam - he's developed a distaste for The Invasion, in general. After their win at Tournament 74: Grand Slam [Doubles], DaemonX & Banging have tied up contention for the Duo Division titles, and it seems their Invasion allegiance to Violent`J means they're happy to support a plot to carry the Duo Division Champions to a full year's reign!

That's why Ratt & NightHawk are taking matters into their own hands! At Supercard 83: Night of Champions V - they'll face "The Invasion" DaemonX & Banging in a bitter struggle to name new #1 Contenders! Another major match on a star-laden September Supercard!

Supercard 83: Night of Champions V (September 25th, 2016):
- [Battle Royal Winner] versus "The Hitman" DECEPTION (c) [Undisputed Championship]
- Night of Champions Contender Battle Royal featuring: Kron, ElJobber, The Great Genku, United: Hokey, "The Predator" TonyTheTiger & Violent`J (c).
- Ratt & NightHawk versus DaemonX & Banging [Duo Division #1 Contenders]

Pre-Show 83 Card Announcement

Your eyes are not deceiving you! Pre-Show 83 has officially been announced, but with two title matches and a massive Trios main event:- Generation Warfare is fixing to be a Supercard caliber spectacle! Alliance fighter Statix will get a long awaited rematch for the KFL Championship against "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet! The man called Politics will fight for his fallen friend when he challenges Benjamin for the Division 2 Championship!

Undisputed Champion DECEPTION will also prove once again that he's a fighting champ, accepting a trios challenge from The Invasion just one week before he'll defend his title at Night of Champions V! He'll finally be back in action with his pals Baraka_MK & Onryo as The New Generation takes on Night of Champions entrant The Great Genku, and Duo Division #1 Contenders DaemonX & Banging!

The Curious Case of UlcaTron led the once Corrupt fighter to turn on his teammates in The Fallen. Now the fighter who helped him blaze through the Duo Division will get a one-on-one reprisal -- Corrupt hydraslash ready to exact terrible vengeance against his former partner!

Shen_DuHBK returned to The Invasion at All-Star Summer Showdown to once again put the screws to ShawnMichaels and The British Exit! The former Invasion leader will pursue the grudge back to another solo face-off. MattHardy will also team with Summer defector Jauger to try to level the score in his rivalry with proXade of the two-man Greek Crisis! An old rivalry will also be rekindled when TripleH & WilliamRegal answer for their attacks on "The Alliance" AlbertBeefcake & The_Hurricane!

All this and much more! Don't miss the full Pre-Show 83 event -- this Sunday, September 18th!

Entering Night of Champions: Violent`J

On one night in September every Undisputed Champion is given the opportunity to grab the brass ring and reclaim the glory they once held. This is Night of Champions - an annual event that gathers former title holders into one epic Elimination Contender Battle Royal! The winner will earn the right to advance to the night's main event, where they'll face the reigning Undisputed Champion!

The list of confirmed former champions entering this year's match is growing fast! Kron, ElJobber, The Great Genku, United: Hokey and "The Predator" TonyTheTiger have all confirmed their entry. Now one of the most unexpected challengers can be added to that list!

As one-half of the current Duo Division Champions Violent`J is in the midst of making history! He reunited with long time partner Marz in 2015, beginning a second undefeated streak that inevitably led them to the titles in October.

Team Xtreme has reigned undefeated for the 324 days that followed their win at Supercard 71: Greatness. They beat a Who's Who of the Duo Division on their way to breaking the all-time title reign record with a win at Supercard 80: Tower of Power XI! They're now chasing the milestone of reigning for a full calendar year! Impressive -- but by no means a case for VJ entering Night of Champions!

The Y2Juggalo has been getting distracted ever since he was revealed to be The Invasion trump card at Dead Or Alive IX. His wanderlust was evident a month prior, when he was Runner-Up in the 2016 Mid-Year Grand Slam. He pursued further solo glory in the Summer Grand Slam. As a major figure in The Invasion, he's most recently entered into a feud with Statix and The Alliance.

Of course, these latest deviations from Team Xtreme pale in comparison to Violent`J's original run in The Great Arena in 2012!

He emerged as forebear for the "Silent Invasion" that first brought ICWW fighters into The Great Arena. He won the 2nd Annual UGP Battle Royal at Ultimate Grand Prix II - Test of the Best. This led to a shocking Undisputed Championship win in June, when he upset Crow at Supercard 25: Tower of Power V! He enjoyed a three month reign as champ, defending against ElJobber in the main event of All-Star Summer Showdown, before losing the following month in a rematch! The pair complete a trilogy of title matches, ending their feud at Supercard 29: Violent`J/ElJobber - End Game.

Night of Champions V marks Violent`J's second appearance in the annual match, having entered last year's Champions Battle Royal. Will history remember September 25th as the date Violent`J became a double champion? Or is this just another fracture in his once unbreakable friendship with Marz?

Monday Night Invasion (September 12, 2016)

Over the weekend DaemonX & Banging completed their ascension to the top of the Duo Division as winners of Tournament 74: Grand Slam [Doubles]. In doing so, they surprised some of the best teams in the league -- and on Monday Night Invasion they found themselves subject to a bitter rematch!

"The New Generation" Baraka_MK & Onryo have been at odds with The Invasion for several months, and were not about to accept their Round 2 defeat! They not only challenged the winners to a rematch, but dared them to put their title contention on the line! It was a reasonable gambit to keep control of the Duo Division Championship out of Invasion hands, but DaemonX & Banging were no fluke! They turned up the heat on The New Generation, repeating their Tournament 74 victory with extra sting! It seems DaemonX & Banging will retain their right to call themselves #1 Contenders, even as they avoid the question of whether or not they'll interfere with Team Xtreme's goals of reigning for one full year! Today marks their 323rd consecutive day as champs.

One-half of the Duo Division Champions, Violent`J, formed a different alliance on Monday, teaming with new recruit Jauger in his continuing feud with PaganFreak & The Alliance! VJ hoped to gain revenge against Statix for humiliations suffered during the infamous August 29th melee, and last week's grudge match. Alas; not even Jauger's loyalty and VJ's Duo skills could combine to stop the momentum of The Alliance! The recent wins likely have Statix back in the frame to challenge for the KFL Championship!

Reigning KFL Champion LordSkarlet found himself facing a very different foe earlier in the night! deadpool was in The Great Arena armed with his Round 3 win over The American Nightmare at the Summer Grand Slam! It was enough to push LordSkarlet into a match he clearly wasn't prepared for! The champ again struggled to mount his usual offense against deadpool, but was still more than a match for him. A +3 win resetting the record between them!

The impromptu title match probably won't have eased Jason_Voorhees' frustrations any. His hopes for the one-on-one title match he was promised for Dead Or Alive IX were dashed once again, last week, when UlcaTron showed up to turn on LordSkarlet! The common enemy led Jason to team with The Fallen's Corrupt hydraslash against UlcaTron and Hall of Famer Rockey316 - who came to his aid! The Hall of Famer enthusiastically raised UlcaTron's hand after their win!

Weekly Rankings Recap - 9/11/2016

The title challengers for September are slowly beginning to come into focus! Night of Champions V gained two more entrants this past week: United: Hokey and "The Predator" TonyTheTiger will enter the Contender Battle Royal with Kron, ElJobber and The Great Genku. The winner will earn the right to challenge DECEPTION in the night's championship main event!

Tournament 74: Grand Slam [Doubles] shuffled the deck on the Duo Division, pushing "The Invasion" DaemonX & Banging to the top of the pile! They weren't able to budge from #3 in the Duo Division ranks, but all reason points to them being the new Duo #1 Contenders. An interesting situation given their affiliation with Violent`J -- one-half of the reigning Duo Division Champions, whose fractured team is being held together by the goal of reigning for 365 days!

Politics was announced as the Division 2 #1 contender at the start of the month, and now knows he'll get his shot this Sunday at Pre-Show 83! He'll take the test of reigning cham: Benjamin, with several contenders nipping at their heels during this week's Friday Night Fights!

Tournament 74: Grand Slam [Doubles] 2016

It was a staggering five month wait between Duo Division tournaments, but finally the tandem ranks had their chance to shine at Tournament 74: Grand Slam [Doubles]. Indeed, it was worth the wait! A field of thirty-two of the best teams entered, showing just how far they'd come with a fresh range of contenders rising through the ranks!

The biggest shock of the entire tournament came in the very first match! Ratt & NightHawk are always favourites to go far, but they were swiftly upset by JoelKatz & KittyKat! The unbelievable +5 impact couldn't be followed up on - rxvt & deadly were too strong. It was never the less an amazing, unpredictable start to the tournament about to unfold!

Newly formed All-Star Summer Showdown twosome "The Predator" TonyTheTiger & "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile quickly showed they would be a dangerous pairing. With arch-rivals "The United" Shoe & Artanix at the opposite end of their bracket half, it seemed a Semi Finals showdown was inevitable. It required the elimination of veterans CCShadow & Scott-Howell in the Third Round by The United, but indeed, the grudge fuelled fated face-off occurred -- ending in a hard fought win for TTT & CTR!

The final brought The Predator & The Guardian into a face-off against "The Invasion" DaemonX & Banging. The ICWW alums have been establishing themselves as one of the potent new powers of the Duo Division! They showed just how deadly they are by cutting a path through some of the top teams of 2016: "The Greek Crisis" maxilos & proXade, "The New Generation" Baraka_MK & Onryo, Piccolo & GohanSon, and "The Fallen" LordSkarlet & Corrupt hydraslash!

The final battled the conditioned chemistry of The Invasion over the makeshift alliance. TonyTheTiger & CaTigeReptile are a tough tandem to beat any day of the week, but they may have lacked the proper motivation having already taken out their nemeses! An impressive victory for DaemonX & Banging that will almost certainly make them the #1 Contenders to the Duo Division Championship. A complicated scenario, given one-half of the record setting champions "Team Xtreme" Marz & Violent`J was outed as The Invasion's secret weapon at Dead Or Alive IX!

Team Xtreme has now reigned for an uninterrupted 322 days as Duo Division Champions! Will Violent`J's allies in The Invasion be the team to stop them reaching an unrivalled 365 days as champs? Be watching as the action develops tomorrow on Monday Night Invasion and onward toward September 25th and Supercard 83: Night of Champions V!
