Supercard 91: Ultimate Grand Prix VII

It is the moment when past, present and future collide! Ultimate Grand Prix is the arena spectacular where men walk side by side with legends! It is the culmination of everything that has come before it -- and everything that will follow! For some, victory will spell immortality. For others, it will be the quality of their fight that defines them.

With one of the most anticipated cards in history: Ultimate Grand Prix VII promised to once again raise the bar for the Supercard of Supercards! Blistering hot grudges months or even years in the making! Hall of Fame superstars in history making action! An Undisputed Championship match unlike any other! You could feel it coming in the air - and UGP7 did not disappoint!

16. VenoMark (c) defeated United: The_Purple_Bunny in a comprehensive victory! [+7] [Undisputed Championship]
A UGP Championship Match Preview cleared the air and reminded everyone what the main event was all about. An epic night had brought Ultimate Grand Prix VII to its apex. In the challenger's corner was the 2017 Battle Royale winner: The_Purple_Bunny. An accomplished fighter who's seen the main event of UGP before, and was intent on winning his seventh Undisputed Championship at UGP7! Entering second was VenoMark: a beleaguered defending Undisputed Champion whose fight to earn his place was one of the hardest on record! TPB eliminated VenoMark last to win the Battle Royale contender's match. He even dominated the champ on the road to UGP in bouts from January and February! The odds seemed stacked in the challenger's favour, but anything can happen at UGP!

VenoMark was a restrained furnace of intensity as The_Purple_Bunny talked trash at the face-off. VM kept his focus trained away from TPB until the fight officially began! Then he exploded at TPB, launching an aggressive assault that completely bamboozled the UGP veteran! TPB scrambled to keep himself in the match, but VenoMark was unrelenting! Just as TPB had been minted with a dominant win in the main event of UGP4; VenoMark proved himself with a comprehensive +7 victory! An unimpeachable success on the grandest stage of them all!

In front of a stunned and elated crowd, VenoMark celebrated his Undisputed Championship like he'd won it for the first time! It was a crowning moment for a fighter who's faced overwhelming adversity at every turn. A confirmation even greater than winning the title in the 6-fighter Eliminator of Pre-Show 90: Venomous Creatures! The culmination of an incredible year at UGP7!

15. Ratt & NightHawk defeated "Team Xtreme" Marz & Violent`J (c) in a decisive victory! [+1] [Duo Division Championship]
History will know them as one of the Duo Division Championship's most dominant forces! "Team Xtreme" Marz & Violent`J brought their tag team expertise to The Great Arena in 2012, remaining undefeated until 2015, when they lost to Ratt & NightHawk at All-Star Summer Showdown. Shortly after their first recorded loss, they set about making history with a 420 day title reign that last until December 2016 -- their first in this league! To ensure it lasted that long, Violent`J had used his allies in The Invasion to avoid the rightful challenge of Ratt & NightHawk. Seven months after they earned their title opportunity, The Rattamaniacs made sure new history was written at Ultimate Grand Prix VII! Team Xtreme had reclaimed the titles in February at Supercard 89: Breaking Point. Their second reign was to be cut well short as the returning Ratt & NightHawk showed Violent`J he was right to fear them! Rattamania once again filled The Great Arena at UGP as he and NightHawk stunned all in attendance with a decisive victory! The atmosphere was euphoric as the two-time Duo Division Champions celebrated their win over the Hall of Fame pairing! Just another amazing moment for a fighter synonymous with UGP in Ratt!

14. ElJobber defeated m0s in a devastating fatal encounter! [-1up] [Iron Man Death Match]
It's difficult to conceive of a time when m0s and ElJobber could ever have fought on the same side. Their hatred has festered for more than year as m0s harbored an unforgiving grudge that grew with every defeat he suffered in 2016. The demise of the KFL sub-league made them enemies at Ultimate Grand Prix VI, and led m0s to quit after a rematch loss the next week! When Mime destroyed his brother at Supercard 79; m0s blamed ElJobber for his role in designing the apocalyptic Lucifer's Ladder! m0s returned for an unsuccessful grudge match at All-Star Summer Showdown, and another malicious attempt at Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence. He tasted defeat every time, but as the former "Mister Daruma" could attest - it takes five layers to topple the traditional Daruma-Otoshi!

They entered the arena in darkness with a heavy tension in the air. Analysis suggested m0s would be at a physical disadvantage, but he shrugged off a slap from ElJobber to take immediate control of the match! He chipped away at ElJobber with a string of stinging jabs. ElJobber tied it up and tossed m0s across the arena. The match went into its next phase as ElJobber started throwing heavy bombs: -3p, -2p, -9p, -3p, -1p! m0s could feel he was in trouble so he dug down deep and threw everything he had to rack ElJobber for a devastating -30 impact! With that single blow, m0s gained the upper hand and sent a shockwave of belief through everyone in attendance!

The game-changing shot sent ElJobber into emergency mode. He scrambled to use the chip tactic to stabilize the match and reestablished his dominance with a -22p, -3p, -25p combo! He opened up a massive 54 gap, but m0s wasn't going away that easy! He fired back with a trio of stinging -2p jabs. ElJobber outdid with two hard shots worth -7p. m0s snapped back fast with chip damage and built it up to another haymaker -30p that brought him back to contention! ElJobber was knocked silly as he walked into a -9p follow-up that built m0s' momentum! In serious danger, ElJobber swung for the fences to hit his own -30p destroyer! Leaning against each other just to stay standing, m0s slapped him for a -3p. 6 seconds from the 10 minute mark - ElJobber struck back with another -30p!

All of a sudden the closed gap was opened back up! m0s was standing on the deficit side 68p against 125p! He chopped ElJobber and hit a morale boosting -16p blow! ElJobber shut it down with another violent -30p that reduced m0s to just 39p! The next five minutes became a horror show as The Great Arena watched one fighter systematically destroy another. m0s was determined not to fall, but the spark of potential was out. He could do nothing as laws he'd chosen condemned him, enduring just a while longer with no energy left to fight back. Quitting was no longer an option. After 14 minutes and 31 seconds m0s could block no more. Though it cost him dearly: ElJobber was winner of the Iron Man Death Match at Ultimate Grand Prix VII. A brutal end to a heinous grudge.

13. "The Hitman" DECEPTION defeated Kron in an utter destruction! [+11]
The main event of last year's Ultimate Grand Prix VI confirmed DECEPTION's place among the pantheon of UGP legends! His successful Undisputed Championship defense against Hall of Famer Kron will be remembered as one of the greatest matches of all-time. Kron certainly couldn't forget it! When it came time to find the perfect opponent for his return to Ultimate Grand Prix, Kron couldn't pass up the opportunity to go another round with DECEPTION! The crowd was wild as the two titans entered The Great Arena. A wry smile crept across Kron's face as they squared off. Anticipation for the pure and simple contest was building to fever pitch. Nobody could've expected what would go down! The feeling out process was equitable, but as the match reached a higher gear - The Hitman was striking every target! Kron staggered as he was overwhelmed by the leader of The New Generation! There was no doubt about it as DECEPTION executed a stunning +11 impact to win the highly anticipated UGP rematch! Another amazing victory against a Hall of Fame legend!

12. Hokey defeated Genku in a decisive victory! [+1]
It was supposed to be the perfect conclusion to a charmed career: Hokey was a fan-favourite from the beginning, but rather than end his Hall of Fame career in celebration, an Invasion Election threatened to spoil his farewell. It was never about philosophy or history for Genku. He joined The Invasion last August to protect a title shot from Royal Roulette cash-in by Hokey. The Kingmaker never had any intentions of interfering, but Genku's selfish lust for gold finally pushed him too far in November. The saga of post-election accusations has kept Genku twisting in the wind for four months! At last his paranoia was rewarded: A final parting gift from Hokey - and the perfect set-up for a blockbuster final battle at Ultimate Grand Prix VII! The atmosphere was electric as the two fighters took centre stage. Genku tried to be dismissive of the newest Hall of Famer, but faux arrogance couldn't hide his obvious frustration. Every vicious effort to punish his nemesis was shut down. Hokey would not let his UGP farewell be ruined! With the crowd on their feet, Hokey ruled The Great Arena one last night time! There would only be misery for Genku as Hokey showed no mercy, earning a decisive victory! Basking in his victory Hokey addressed the crowd for one last time, thanking them for their support and promising that although his regular fighting days are over, he will see them again!

11. United: Mime defeated "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile (c) in convincing fashion! [+1] [KFL Championship]
Self-appointed "Guardian" CaTigeReptile won acclaim at the end of 2016 when she led a Koalition against The Invasion's brutal conquest of The Great Arena. She easily resisted their fleeting remnants in the aftermath, setting her sights on guarding a more specific class. A title win on February 13th set up the controversial unveiling of The KFL Women's Championship: a title exclusively defended against the women. Mime had lost the title to CTR, and emerged as a skeptic as she tore through the female ranks unchallenged. He called it an unjustified bias that was costing the title its credibility. In the highly anticipated inter-gender challenge, Mime backed up his bold claims as the untested CTR met her match! It was a gentle, but one-sided battle as Mime convincingly dominated the match. The Guardian couldn't find her world beating best, forced to succumb to a defeat not only for her gold, but her KFL Women's revolution, as well. The first title to change hands at Ultimate Grand Prix VII!

10. Poasty defeated United: Shoe in a solid victory! [+8]
Poasty started the year off right at Battle Royale with a long awaited reclamation of the Division 2 Championship he'd lost last June! It was the joyous culmination of a 2016 filled with dizzying highs - and crushing lows. Just two months prior, Poasty nearly walked away from the fight. United: Shoe lit a fire deep within his psyche with a heinous September assault that endangered his comeback from injury! The violent episode was unprecedented and it haunted Poasty in subsequent defeats during Friday Night Fights, and Supercard 86. At Ultimate Grand Prix VII, Poasty was single-minded in his goal to slay his dragon! It was one of the most anticipated matches of UGP7 and when they finally came face to face -- no one quite sure what would happen. It turned out to be a catharsis for everyone in attendance! With a performance that defied his status Poasty overwhelmed his veteran opponent! He rained blows down until finally a convincing +8 impact registered his unequivocal victory. As the crowd chanted his name, Poasty turned to his nemesis - and offered his hand! If for only one night, Poasty and Shoe would have their moment of peace at UGP!

9. "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet defeated King Ken in an utter demolition! [-0/-13] [Steel Cage Fight]
The mood changed as an ominous structure was lowered into the arena's centre. Elation left the air, turning to dread in a ceremony of preparation that signaled the coming of a Steel Cage Fight! It was first conceived as a means to keep intruders out - and fighters in. Instead, it has become an instrument of spiteful torture used by those driven to vicious - or desperate means! King Ken had not seen The Great Arena since that fateful night in November when LordSkarlet's invitation to "The Fallen" ended with his fall! Ken saw the Steel Cage as a war machine perfect for reclaiming his kingdom, but he failed to realize LordSkarlet had conquered it before! The confines of the cage became a living nightmare for Ken as he tasted his own blood - instead of his enemy's! LordSkarlet endured every heinous collision with the unforgiving metal, forwarding it ten-fold to his challenger! With a horrified UGP audience in attendance, Ken succumbed to The American Nightmare once again!

8. Team Oozaru defeated The Invasion in a Survivor Sequence! [5-3]
1. Oozaru (Oozaru) elim. edge (Invasion)
2. Jason_Voorhees (Invasion) elim. Oozaru (Oozaru)
3. The_Hurricane (Oozaru) elim. Jason_Voorhees (Invasion)
4. The_Hurricane (Oozaru) elim. Grayback (Invasion)
5. The_Hurricane (Oozaru) elim. DaemonX (Invasion)
6. DArqueBishop (Invasion) elim. The_Hurricane (Oozaru)
7. DArqueBishop (Invasion) elim. PaganFreak (Oozaru)
8. Statix (Oozaru) elim. DArqueBishop (Invasion)
Survivors: Statix & Banging

Committed to finally fighting for his Pacific Connection partner, Oozaru chose to enter first in the fight against The Invasion! His first roadblock proved tougher than expected, edge doing what he could to wear the Aussie down. Jason_Voorhees capitalized with a hard fought brawl that cost Team Oozaru their captain! The_Hurricane was the first ICWW alum entrusted to fight the good fight, and the superhero did not disappoint! He effortlessly dealt with Jason_Voorhees and Grayback! Old foe DaemonX may have dominated Banging's soul in the distant past, but he could not suppress the will of The_Hurricane! It looked as if The Invasion were as good as thwarted, but DArqueBishop's new role as Manager was asserted in ominous fashion! The_Hurricane was blown away in an instant. PaganFreak did his best to make Oozaru proud, but the back and forth soon went DArqueBIshop's way! With the momentum swinging back in The Invasion's favour: Statix entered to send a jolt of electricity through the heart of The Great Arena! His energy overwhelmed DAB and brought victory to Team Oozaru! The match was billed as the fight for Banging's soul, but it turned out the tortured Kiwi had already made his choice! The mystery fifth man waiting in the wings revealed himself as Team Oozaru gathered to celebrate a momentous reunion at Ultimate Grand Prix!

7. United: Mimik defeated "The Predator" TonyTheTiger in a solid result. [+1]
When TonyTheTiger was eliminated from the Fourth Round of the 2017 Grand Prix Warm-Up, old wounds were suddenly re-opened. Ultimate Grand Prix had been the scene of one of TTT's greatest triumphs last year, but ever since the Arena Spectacular's inception: Mimik has cast a shadow over The Predator! Mimik decimated TTT at the inaugural UGP, and got the best of him again three years later after being inducted into the Hall of Fame! Driven by a fire in his blood, TonyTheTiger came to Ultimate Grand Prix VII to write the final chapter in their three act feud! It was supposed to be his coda of victory, but the script did not go according to The Predator's plan! He fought well, but Mimik once again proved he's one of the UGP greats! Big game that fought back for a convincing win!

6. "The Invasion" CCShadow & Scott-Howell defeated Jammer2Omega & Porygonix in a solid victory. [+1]
Throughout 2016 Jammer2Omega & Porygonix worked hard to establish themselves as one of the rising stars of the Duo Division. They hoped to cement their success in the 2017 Grand Prix Show tournament, but were pipped in the Semi Final by eventual defending winners: CCShadow & Scott-Howell! Eager to prove themselves on the grandest stage of them all, J2O & Porygonix were hungry in their rematch with UGP mainstays! The hopeful pair found an extra gear in their enthusiastic attack, but their veteran opponents have been equally refreshed since joining "The Invasion" in March! CCS & Howell couldn't inflict the damage of their previous encounter, but once again found answers for the aspirational assault. The competitive UGP performance of J2O & Pory will still be a feather in their cap, but it's The Invasion who will be watching the Duo Division Championship with great interest!

5. AlbertBeefcake defeated Shen_DuHBK in a solid win. [+1]
When Shen_DuHBK came forward to claim his vote was altered in The Invasion Election, an unlikely partnership was formed when investigator AlbertBeefcake became his personal guard. Their unusual chemistry dominated Tower of Power XVIII, but the partnership was based on a lie. Shen confessed to plotting against Genku early in March -- a betrayal that also cut deep into the heart of Albo! The "Italian Cyclone" was able to avoid retribution, but under the lights of Ultimate Grand Prix there was nowhere to hide from justice! AlbertBeefcake came to fight, delivering a decisive beat down to the fraudulent whistleblower! As he claimed his righteous victory, a curious item fell from Shen_DuHBK's person: a chess bishop. The Beefer's expression was quizzical as he left the arena.

4. Mark & Leroy defeated "The New Generation" Baraka_MK & Onryo [+1]
Big things were expected of "The New Generation" Baraka_MK & Onryo coming in to UGP. They were one of the favourite teams contesting the 2017 Grand Prix Show event, but in an unexpected twist, their Second Round stoush with Mark & Leroy ended in a complete draw! Massive intrigue surrounded the potential for a rematch and it could only happen at Ultimate Grand Prix! Expectations once again favoured The New Generation, but something about these teams brings out the unpredictable! With the world watching, Mark & Leroy once again proved they're a team to reckoned with, eking out a hard earned UGP win!

3. MKMaster (c) defeated Jerrod in a complete destruction! [+11] [Division 2 Championship]
The fate of the Division 2 Championship was uncertain headed into UGP, but a stunning performance in the 2017 Grand Prix Warm-Up gave MKMaster the mojo he needed to earn a UGP debut with gold around his waist! He took it from Poasty at the last possible moment, but if the Fourth Round of the lead-in tournament had gone another way -- it could've been Jerrod! The arena veteran had been a stand-out under pressure for last year's Canadian Olympic team, but solo success eluded him on the biggest stage of them all! MKMaster proved it wasn't a fluke, earning another unexpected feather in his cap with a dominant UGP victory!

2. Politics & Menas defeated McDaniel & fraysol and "Brexiteers" Liam & nif in a hard fought three-way battle! [+1/--/-1]
No combination in the 2017 Grand Prix Show impressed quite as much as the Semi Finalist teams of McDaniel & fraysol and Liam & nif! Each surpassed expectation, but it came a little easier for the Brexiteers thanks to an unexpected bye. A UGP rematch between the teams seemed inevitable, but the misfortunes suffered by Politics & Menas meant officials saw exciting potential in a three-way contest. They weren't wrong, either! Away from a full tournament bracket, McDaniel & fraysol were able to outclass The Brexiteers! Endurance proved to be their undoing once again however, as Politics & Menas powered through to a solid UGP victory!

1. "Chosen One" Damo (#28) eliminated Artanix (#30) to win the 7th Annual UGP Battle Royal!

24. Artanix (#30) elim. Chromatose (#27)
25. Damo (#28) elim. Murdoink (#17)
26. Damo (#28) elim. nightbreed_16 (#22)
27. Damo (#28) elim. Sekktor (#9)
28. Damo (#28) elim. G0LD (#25)
29. Damo (#28) elim. Artanix (#30)
You could feel the excitement in the air as UGP kicked off with the beloved annual tradition of the UGP Battle Royal! Coltess and SubScorpTile were the first of thirty fighters drawn to enter randomly.

The standard 90 second interval meant a world of pain for Coltess! He suffered a battering that only got worse when #3 legoslayer10 came in and started a double-team! Colt was briefly relieved when Jauger came in to even the sides, but the damage was already done. SST had the privilege of the first elimination, but the arrival of #5 Loopster almost immediately ended legoslayer10's day.

The UGP Battle Royal paused for a moment as Loopster, Jauger and SubScorpTile gazed at each other. All three were members of The Invasion throughout 2016, but SST had drifted since the December collapse. He was the odd man out as Loopster & Jauger began a domination of the match and every competitor who entered!

Hot prospects DeathScepter and Rockey316 were mere playthings for The Invasion! The surprise Hall of Fame entrant was able to endure, giving Sekktor the chance to break through a pummeling and take out Jauger!.He kept his momentum rolling, ending #11 maxilos' run after just 34 seconds and #12 JoelKatz as soon as he entered!

Approaching the halfway mark, winner of the UGP4 Battle Royal Rockey316 turned up the heat! He ran wild, alternating attacks between Sekktor and #13 entrant Onimike! Despite the hard hits, there was a drought of eliminations until Shinnokxz arrived at #16 to finish off a battered hydraslash! He played a part in thwarting the hopes of the fighters who've been part of the KFL women's league, Kiara85 and Shizuma exiting 10th and 11th!

It was more than six minutes before the next elimination came, leaving the UGP Battle Royal to fill with fighters! #21 NovaStarr created anticipation given her impressive history in the match, but was #17 United: Murdoink who shook things up with the elimination of Onimike! He was unable to make the save for United newcomer zelse, who succumbed to another elimination by Sekktor. The Fallen fighter made his case for victory 62 seconds later when he made Loopster the 15th exit!

With 12 fighters still active in the match -- business picked up with the arrival of #28 "The Chosen One" Damo! Damo guaranteed victory in the lead-up to UGP, but he made surprisingly little impact on arrival. A formidable coalition was briefly formed to pull Damo out of the pack when Murdoink, Rockey316 & Sekktor triple-teamed the new threat! Their alliance was split when Shinnokxz and fresh #29 mwgrant0 pulled Rockey316 out of the pack! mwgrant0 was entering with his partner Unknown265 on the injured list -- an inversion of 265's solo appearance in last year's Battle Royal!

The mood changed one more time as United: Artanix made his presence known as an intimidating fresh and final entrant into the match! Sekktor greeted The United fighter, who peeled straight into a hard shot against Shinnokxz! Murdoink clocked Rockey316 at the same time, with the domino effect seeing Shinnokxz switch his momentum into a stunning Hall of Fame elimination!

The final blitz began with Artanix looking like the favourite thanks to his team-up with Murdoink! While The United hacked away at the remaining peloton; a rapidfire round of eliminations came from nightbreed_16, Damo, G0LD, and NovaStarr! The match devolved into chaos with no one fighter daring to stay still! Chromatose found himself caught in a maelstrom of blows from Damo, Sekktor, and nightbreed_16! All of a sudden - NovaStarr was eliminated by Sekktor! Chromatose got his footing and started attacking Murdoink! Artanix swooped in to help his teammate - eliminating Chromatose in the process!

Artanix & Murdoink set their sights on a two-man assault of nightbreed_16 and a final United front for victory! Seeing the danger: Damo jumped Murdoink to turn the tables! nightbreed_16 wailed away on Murdoink while Damo occupied Artanix! Then in a shocking 1-2 combination Damo eliminated both Murdoink and nightbreed_16! The electrifying eliminations set up a scintillating final four: Sekktor (#9), G0LD (#25), Artanix (#30) and Damo (#28)!

All eyes were on Damo as anticipation filled the air! The Chosen One made the first move - G0LD the nearest target! Sekktor tried to use the distraction to his advantage, but Damo was too fresh for the #9 entrant! He dominated Sekktor, ending The Fallen fighter's outstanding run at the 50 minute mark! G0LD jumped back in, but the exciting find of 2016 couldn't achieve the impossible in his UGP debut - eliminated an impressive 28th!

Artanix had left the other two fighters to try to wear Damo down. Now there was only freshest and most promising prospects left! Artanix charged at Damo and delivered a hard shot, but The Chosen One turned them around and struck two knock-out blows! With Artanix reeling, Damo moved around working the jabs before hitting another devastating haymaker! You could feel it coming in the air, but Artanix would not die. He kept getting back up! Again and again! Seconds felt like minutes, but the end came fast and unavoidably. "The Chosen One" Damo had guaranteed victory in the 7th Annual UGP Battle Royal -- and he achieved it! An amazing finish to start UGP off with a bang!

It all started with the surprising Annual UGP Battle Royal, leading all the way to an Undisputed Championship match we will remember for years to come!

16. "The Hitman" DECEPTION (c) defeated Kron in a comprehensive result! [+4] [Undisputed Championship]
A UGP Championship Match Preview gave everyone a chance to cool down after the life changing events of the Iron Man Death Match. There could be only one bigger battle than that and that was the fight for the Undisputed Championship! The Hall of Famer versus The Hitman! A 4-time champion in Kron, whose lone match of 2016 saw him beat out 39 other fighters for the right to challenge! Force DECEPTION, it was all about defending a dream. His UGP moment coming early with his first ever Undisputed Championship win at Supercard 76! Everything said Kron was the favourite to win, but DECEPTION was the one who captured the belief of the crowd.

From his fight with The Horde and breakout performance in the 2014 King of the Death Match tournament, to his rivalries with Hokey, ElJobber, and Lucifer's Ladder. It was a long time coming! Baraka_MK & Onryo emerged to join their fellow New Generation partner. Celebrating something good that happened at UGP6!

15. Ratt defeated Crow in a soul destroying fatal encounter! [-1up] [Iron Man Death Match]
All hatreds paled in comparison to the polar opposition of Crow and Ratt! Rivals throughout their career, they became locked in opposition anew with Ratt's induction into the Hall of Fame at the end of 2015. The ensuing war put NightHawk briefly on the shelf and threatened to tear the arena apart! They created the Steel Cage Fight to settle their score at Supercard 76: Ratt in a Cage, but the only way it could truly end was with one fighter standing and one dead! The entire blood feud had been leading to a test of the best at Ultimate Grand Prix VI!

The match started slow, but Ratt took a commanding position early on. The challenge marks Ratt's fourth Iron Man Death Match at UGP, where he participated in the first and left an undefeated streak in his wake. It showed! He took -18p before Crow managed to hit his first strike! Ratt continued cruising until Crow found a -12p hit in the third minute! Ratt quickly wrestled control back with five -1p chips and a -4p, but this seemed to wake Crow up - prompting him to snap back with a -5p! Reaching the seventh minute, the pair started to exchange jabs in alternating succession! In minute nine, Crow stirred the crowd with a sequence started by -3p and -5p double, before he ate a -3p, delivered a big -6p, ate another -3p, and succumbed to more Ratt chip damage!

At exactly twelve minutes, Crow was down to 96p up against 154p. Exactly sixty seconds later, he scored the first big strike of the night - taking +9p off of a devastating -21p! He followed with -6p, slimming the gap to just 30! Then Ratt proved exactly why he's worthy of the Hall of Fame, firing back with a bomb of his own to take -21p from Crow! With Crow on the ropes, Ratt chained together -2p, -3p, -3p, -16p, ate a -6p hit, and fired back with -5p and -2p! Rattamania was officially running wild, controlling the match enough to earn back a 100p deficit!

At 17mins 36secs, Crow connected with +MAX damage! They went back and forth and then at 19mins 56secs, Crow connected with another +MAX damage! This brought Crow back to within 40p of Ratt and started everybody wondering what might happen! Rattamania remained undeterred, hitting back with -6p and -12p to absorb back 4p! After 21 minutes and 55 seconds it all come down to one final collision! Too exhausted to hate, they each threw their bodies at the other with Ratt finding a +MAX critical hit! The end of the Iron Man Death Match! -1up to Crow! Another glorious Ultimate Grand Prix moment for the greatest fighter in the history of the league: Ratt!

14. "The Unholy Alliance" ElJobber & Mime defeated m0s & Knickxasawrrrr in a dominant victory! [+1]
It was a late addition to the UGP6 card, but the hatred between these two teams had been maturing for a year! It was the ultimate finale to the saga of the Kombat Fight League, m0s's fall from grace, and Knickxasawrrrr's fight for the corrupt soul of UlcaTron! The objects of the brothers' mutual hate? The Unholy Alliance of ElJobber & Mime! Corrupters of the innocent, architects of Lucifer's Ladder, and destroyers of the KFL! They were all these things, but also a dangerous fighting tandem! The eruption of emotion was palpable as four fighters exploded into combat! m0s & Knickxasawrrrr were clearly the more impassioned fighters, but it was ElJobber & Mime who showed discipline and intent in their attack. Complimenting each other's assault well, ElJobber & Mime stood tall against the more celebrated team! Dominant victors - destroyers once more!

13. "Team Xtreme" Marz & Violent`J (c) defeated CCShadow & Scott-Howell and "The New Generation" Baraka_MK & Onryo in a comprehensive victory! [+1/--/-1] [Duo Division Championship]
Since their arrival in The Great Arena in 2012, Marz & Violent`J have been a formidable pairing. In the second phase of their careers, they've only been defeated once! In October, they turned that streak into their first reign as Duo Division Championship! In the time since, they've dominated a who's who of the ranks -- but they've never faced two teams at once. The Grand Prix Show tournament  added CCShadow & Scott-Howell to a match originally expected to give Baraka_MK the short he missed at UGP5! Corrupt no more: The New Generation were the favourites to win. Only - nobody told the other fighters that! It was veterans CCShadow & Scott-Howell who strongarmed The New Generation out of the match in the first half, before they ran head-long into the dominant machine of Team Xtreme! Try as they might, they were clearly spent after the initial skirmish. Hall of Famers Marz & Violent`J only seemed to swell with strength as the match went on. Still the undefeated Duo Division Champions after a scintillating eight successful title defences!

12. The_Purple_Bunny defeated "The Chosen One" Damo in convincing fashion! [+1]
In January, The_Purple_Bunny faked joining The Service Krew in a plot intended to deliver him to the main event of UGP. It may not have ended with a Battle Royale victory, but it certainly delivered him to UGP, none the less! Damo was hungry for old fashioned revenge having come up short at Pre-Show 75: Fatal Attractions. Full of piss and vinegar, "The Chosen One" came to fight - but so did The_Purple_Bunny! Still eyeing the Undisputed Championship he so covets, TPB delivered his absolute A-Game on the grandest stage of them all! Damo fought a valiant battle, but in the end, TPB could not be denied. A convincing win another slap in the face to Damo!

11. VenoMark defeated Mimik in a convincing mutual destruction! [-2/-9] [Steel Cage Fight]
A sense of foreboding descended upon The Great Arena like a curtain tethered to the structure being lowered in its centre. The Steel Cage Fight was devised to keep fighters in and intruders out - but was seen to be an instrument of destruction in practise during Ratt in a Cage! It was this reason that inspired Mimik to choose it as his weapon against arch-nemesis VenoMark! Their rivalry began when VenoMark took Mimik's title shot away at Survivor Sequence 2015 - now Mimik hoped to take VenoMark's career! Just as he was at Supercard 74 - VenoMark was ready! He locked step with the Hall of Famer all the way, using the confines of the Steel Cage to let loose the blood that fuelled their feud! Mimik got a few good shots in. VenoMark would not walk away from the cage unscathed. The memory of the steel - the scar of this match would remain. VenoMark would, however, walk away. Victorious under the spotlight of UGP!

10. The Great Genku defeated "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile in convincing fashion! [+3]
He made his intentions known on Friday Night Fights, and followed them up at UGP6! The Great Genku hasn't always had the greatest record at Ultimate Grand Prix, but he was on point one year after his UGP Battle Royal victory! "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile was completely overwhelmed - unable to stonewall Genku as she did at Battle Royale and Tower of Power XV! Though she put up a good fight, CTR suffered a +3 impact to give Genku the big win! This undoubtedly puts Genku back on the path to the Undisputed Championship he held until late last year!

9. Statix defeated Banging (c) in a solid victory. [+1] [KFL Championship]
Since coming to The Great Arena in 2012, Statix has been chasing gold. It seemed the second coming of The Pacific Connection would be the ticket, but Banging stunned everyone when he turned on his partner and joined The Invasion, instead! Statix seemed to be defeated by the whole situation, but made a spectacular comeback after the inspiring return of ICWW alum Oozaru! His energy renewed, Statix exploded onto the Ultimate Grand Prix stage! If gold was more important than friendship, he would gladly take it! Banging was left stunned as Statix unleashed a superb performance - finally claiming his first championship win in The Great Arena! The new KFL Champion making it a clean sweep against The Invasion!

8. "The United" DArqueBishop, Shoe & Artanix defeated "The Invasion" ShawnMichaels, DaemonX & The_Rock in a solid victory. [+1]
After a nightmare championship run at Supercard 74, The United surrendered their hopes to New Management. Back on their winning ways ever since; they were directed to fight back against the antagonizing forces of The Invasion, leading to an intriguing battle of trios at UGP! The mysterious manager was finally revealed to be UGP legend DArqueBishop! He led the charge against Invasion leader ShawnMichaels, who entrusted his hope to second-in-command DaemonX and The_Rock! The Invasion elite found themselves outclassed against the seasoned cohesion of The United! Team cohesion may have been the deciding factor. A second loss for The Invasion with only one hope left!

7. "Guardians of the Crow" Pink_Ranger & Ghostdragon defeated "Lucifer's Ladder" Corrupt UlcaTron & Corrupt hydraslash in a comprehensive result. [+1]
With the fire of defeat in the Grand Prix Show Semi Final still burning, "The Corrupt" UlcaTron & hydraslash came in hot for payback! What they found instead was a severe case of deja vu! The veteran might of Pink_Ranger & Ghostdragon simply left their challengers out of their depth. The Guardians of the Crow outclassed them at every turn, but Lucifer's Ladder still managed to escape to fight another day with only a minimum of damage!

6. The Alliance defeated The Invasion in a Survivor Sequence! [5-2]
1. AcidicWonder (Invasion) elim. Jauger (Alliance)
2. PaganFreak (Alliance) elim. AcidicWonder (Invasion)
3. PaganFreak (Alliance) elim. Ironize (Invasion)
4. edge (Invasion) elim. PaganFreak (Alliance)
5. Oozaru (Alliance) elim. edge (Invasion)
6. Oozaru (Alliance) elim. Jason_Voorhees (Invasion)
7. Oozaru (Alliance) elim. Shen_DuHBK (Invasion)
Survivors: Oozaru, The_Hurricane & AlbertBeefcake

Oozaru's return to assist former partner PaganFreak was a major turning point in assembling The Alliance, and it proved to be their key to victory as well! PaganFreak stood tall to shut down the "Catch-22" combo of Ironize & AcidicWonder, before Oozaru entered to finish the job - single-handedly eliminating Alliance turncoats: Shen_DuHBK, Jason_Voorhees & edge! The Super Friends AlbertBeefcake & The_Hurricane were there for moral support - unneeded in The Alliance's triumph against The Invasion!

5. Benjamin (c) defeated "Secret Weapon" SubScorpTile [+1] [Division 2 Championship]
Since winning the championship at Supercard 74, Benjamin has been a stabilizing force against the best of the Division 2 ranks. He stood firm against SubScorpTile at Supercard 76, but The Secret Weapon battled his way back to an exciting UGP rematch. He was still riding that momentum on the big stage, collecting himself for a strong assault on the championship! Benjamin was rattled, but able to stay strong - fending off the attack for his third title defense!

4. Ken & Bee_07 defeated "The Greek Crisis" maxilos & proXade in a comprehensive win! [+4]
Their bitter global campaign in 2016 had led The Greek Crisis to victories over Malaysia, Australia, The United Arab Emirates, The United KingdomIsraelMexico, and even the nationless Invasion! It was all just preparation for taking on November's "King of the World" winner Ken & Bee_07, but it wasn't enough! The King's sketchy run through 2016 ended spectacularly with a heavyweight level domination of maxilos & proXade! The protagonists were sent packing in a comprehensive +4 beat down! A crowning UGP moment for one of the league's legendary fighters!

3. Sekktor defeated Zentile and Murdoink in a comprehensive win. [+3/-2/-1]
It started with Zentile's upset Division 2 Championship win against Sekktor at the New Year's Resolution, and turned into one of the most compelling three-way rivalries of 2016! Months of fighting demanded a final UGP showdown and the battle didn't disappoint! Murdoink was the first to be claimed as Sekktor turned it on, running through the capitulating Chilean conquistador! "The Portuguese Pegasus" Zentile had relied on his natural fire to carry him through two previous Div.2 title wins, but the endurance conditions of the Pre-Show 74 rematch proved too taxing, this time! Sekktor flipped the script, riding a wave of momentum to a dominant finish over his arch-rivals!

2. Jerrod & Corrupt MINION defeated Jammer2Omega & Porygonix. [+1]
Having reunited during the 2015 KFL season; first year combo Jerrod & MINION have shown veteran wiles in their rise through the ranks. It was the perfect challenge for the still developing chemistry of duo: Jammer2Omega & Porygonix! A little too perfect! The exhibition bout turned into a hard hitting classic with no time for fairy tale endings! Jerrod & MINION were just too good in the end, but this could very well be the beginning of a beautiful rivalry!

1. TonyTheTiger (#1) eliminated LordSkarlet (#30) to win the 6th Annual UGP Battle Royal!

18. TonyTheTiger (#1) elim. fraysol (#19)
19. TonyTheTiger (#1) elim. DeathScepter (#21)
20. TonyTheTiger (#1) elim. Menas (#23)
21. Hokey (#16) elim. jack4813 (#22)
22. TonyTheTiger (#1) elim. J1sy (#24)
23. TonyTheTiger (#1) elim. Philip94 (#25)
24. TonyTheTiger (#1) elim. Rhyno (#26)
25. Poasty (#29) elim. Coltess (#28)
26. Hokey (#16) elim. Poasty (#29)
27. LordSkarlet (#30) elim. legoslayer10 (#27)
28. TonyTheTiger (#1) elim. Hokey (#16)
29. TonyTheTiger (#1) elim. LordSkarlet (#30)
The air was thick with anticipation as UGP got under way with the annual UGP Battle Royal! Thirty fighters would enter at random every 90 seconds. With only 9 fighters announced before the big show, there were going to be some surprises!

After some technical difficulty, the first shocks were able to arrive: TonyTheTiger finding himself in the unenviable position of #1 entrant! 49 seconds later #2 Jironobou became the first exit! It would be almost 4 minutes before the next elimination, but the tone was already set!

UGP Battle Royal legend NovaStarr entered #3, but any hope of repeating her UGP4 success was quickly dashed! "The Predator" launched an all out frontal assault, only for #5 entrant Killswitch to scoop the elimination in his first 14 seconds! He immediately drew the ire of TTT for doing so, but outlasted xort and TripleH in an elimination blitz that claimed the dominant Invasion qualifier after 61 seconds in the match! Arch-rival RomanK made it 2mins 41secs before elimination!

#11 Unknown265 had a rough run coming into UGP6, losing his partner mwgrant0 in March to a Duo Division Championship match at Supercard 76! The indignity would continue -- a 1 second appearance coming courtesy of an instant elimination from "The Predator" TonyTheTiger!

#10 McDaniel scored a big elimination of Loopster, but a cavalcade of eliminations made the match start to resemble a gauntlet, rather than a Battle Royal! The match finally took on a different complexion with the entrance of #16 Hokey!

The United's great hope took his New Management's direction, going right after the fatigued TonyTheTiger! Returning from his Tournament 63 injury, kingjolly made a brief impact, teaming with nightbreed_16 to cause Hokey grief. Both soon became victims of TonyTheTiger, though, freeing Hokey up to take out "The Rocket" MKR just 19 seconds after entering at #20!

TonyTheTiger & Hokey shared the labour, taking timeouts to turn on each other between domination over the field! The predatory instincts of TonyTheTiger kept him on top of the vulnerable fighters, including another UGP return after four months on the shelf - the South African rookie: J1sy!

TTT showed signs of faltering as #27 legoslayer10 came in with an aggressive charge! #28 Coltess caused a minor stir in the crowd as he came in. #29 Poasty added another injection of excitement at the expense of Coltess - adding his name to the eliminator's list after being in the match for just 8 seconds! 54 seconds later: Poasty's UGP debut was cut short by United: Hokey, setting up a final four showdown between TonyTheTiger (#1), Hokey (#16), legoslayer10 (#27), and the only fighter who could be coming as the #30 entrant: "The Redeemer" LordSkarlet!

With TonyTheTiger now 42 minutes in, and Hokey 21 minutes, it looked like the match would be there for the taking for the Duo Division partnership of LordSkarlet & legoslayer10! Instead, The Redeemer shocked the entire arena with his ruthless aggression by eliminating legoslayer10 just 11 seconds after arrival!!!

TonyTheTiger was able to step back for a breather as LordSkarlet & Hokey became locked in a hard hitting back and forth! Sensing opportunity, The Predator seized his moment - unleashing a violent assault that eliminated the one fighter who gave him trouble throughout the match! Hokey's elimination set up a history making dream scenario as #1 faced off with #30! Desperate to redeem himself after being Battle Royale runner-up and going 0-8: LordSkarlet threw himself at the last man standing. Alas; TonyTheTiger was able to nail a critical strike to get himself back in control! It was a mauling from there as he preyed upon the wound - exploiting it to the finish!

We've seen fighters like NovaStarr dominate the Battle Royal field before, but "The Predator" TonyTheTiger makes history as the first competitor to go pillar to post - #1 to #30! He did it with a phenomenal 22 out of a possible 29 eliminations! A UGP moment that will stay with him forever!

Supercard 4: 2011 Ultimate Grand Prix - The Arena Spectacular!

April 3, 2011 -- It has been only three short months, but in this time, warriors have asserted themselves and legends been written. From the elimination stages of Tournament 1 and the Quest for Champion at Tournament 2, to the epic feuds between warrior champions at Triple Double and The Long Hard Road; The Great Arena has already played host to some of the most epic tales we will ever see. This is the culmination of these trials -- the rise of legends as immortals, and their ultimate test before attaining fighting godhood.

April 3 will forever be a day marked in history.
It will be the moment when a champion proved his worth in front of doubting peers. A day when an Iron Man proved he was capable of achieving the impossible. A day when the power of a partnership overcame a threat of elemental proportions. A day when battlelines were drawn and a people decided the time to fight had come. This is Supercard 4: 2011 Ultimate Grand Prix - The Arena Spectacular!

10. Lord Mislukking defeated Toryn in an impromptu +25 decimation!
A dejected ElJobber was left to the history books, but Toryn's lavish celebrations would be shortlived. For the first time in the history of competition, Lord Mislukking himself entered the arena! With his Barons defeated in the match prior, Mislukking looked more than ready to defend his side from any question. An impromptu challenge was to break out, leaving the Champion embarassed and utterly decimated under a crushing +25 onslaught!

With so many triumphs of the human spirit documented at this Supercard 4, it was an unfortunately sombre conclusion to the biggest moment in the history of The Great Arena! Though his barons lay broken, it was Lord Mislukking who had the last laugh, crushing the people's champion. With both sides now firing openly, can this mean all-out war between the factions of Mislukking and The Union of the Human League? Or will one individual find a way to bring peace to the war zone? This will be the story of the supercards that follow!

9. Toryn (c) defeated ElJobber in an incredibly close win!
It was a meeting of unknown quantities in the Supercard main event. Toryn only captured the championship weeks earlier, bringing with him the ire that has made him one of the most detested fighters in The Great Arena. On his side, however, was history: undefeated circumstances that would see 2011 Battle Royale contender and fighter with momentum, ElJobber, enter less than favourite.

Toryn's clean win over ElJobber at Tournament 1 would prove an accurate measure of their Championship rematch. ElJobber showed tremendous might and grit in his challenge, but Toryn once again over achieved with the belt on the line, battling to a narrow victory over the January contender. Though ElJobber's dreams of becoming champion were dashed, with this defense secured, Toryn must now be acknowledged as a worthy Champion! Love or hate him, Toryn has now overcome two of the biggest names in The Great Arena -- but will he able to do it again when the title goes on the line once again at Supercard 5: Tower of Power? Can he possibly resist the overwhelming swell of support for Ratt? Time will tell...

8. Cr0w & Kron defeated Famine & Pestilence in a devastating +18 decimation!
Anticipation for the team-up between Cr0w and Kron was intense! Not only was this a rare uniting of polar super-powers, it was also a clash of polar super-powers! For months, The Order of Barons under Lord Mislukking have gone almost completely unopposed. That changed during the build-up to Supercard 4 when Cr0w achieved the milestone of an exhibition victory over Ares Menschlich, the Baron of War. Could that possibly carry over to a clash with -two- Barons, under the tense conditions of an unholy alliance between The Great Arena's most storied rivals?! Apparently... yes!

Cr0w and Kron showed no signs of animosity in their duo clash with Bez Busshitsu and Praga Conquette! Under the spotlight of the greatest event in the history of organized competition, the Barons appeared to lose their ominous powers, patsys for the combined might of Cr0w and Kron! Perhaps inspired by the triumphs of Ratt, the pair unleashed a punishing decimation the likes of which noone could've anticipated! The encounter left Famine and Pestilence broken and embarassed! The result sends a clear message to Lord Mislukking and his forces, who have been increasing pressure on the Human League fighters in recent weeks.

Though the victory was as conclusive as it was sweet, denizens of the Cheevment Kingdom must wonder if they can rely on the union of their two greatest champions. Post-fight, tensions resumed between Cr0w and Kron, neither willing to conceed a team effort. As the greatest rivalrly The Great Arena has ever seen, it can only be a matter of time before these two titans collide once more -- let us hope it is not at the expense of everyone else!

7. Ratt defeated Revenant Genku in a comprehensive win!
Having already won the Battle Royal earlier in the day and competed in a team match at Pre-Show 4, Ratt was asking a lot of himself to come face-to-face with Revenant Genku! Genku had the better of Ratt in their last meeting, but the psychological advantage was nil for a Ratt so ready to defy the odds!

The result was never in doubt as Ratt maintained his speeding bullet momentum, running over Genku in what could have been an utter decimation had he not expelled so much energy in previous matches! Revenant Genku must have been wishing he was dead again as the applause of the crowd buoyed a Ratt who achieved three massive wins in two days! Ratt is now hot favourite to be #1 contender, but he'll have to fend off the best of the ten before he can face the winner of Toryn and ElJobber at the April 17 Supercard, Tower of Power! Assuming, of course, the council determining the unofficial rankings agree with the people...

6. Hokey & Ninja_Mime defeated DeathScepter & DaMo in a punishing +13 team decimation!
When Hokey & Ninja_Mime picked up a team victory at Supercard 3, they probably thought it was going to be a one-off showing. With success comes a bullseye, however, and DeathScepter and DaMo were keen to make a name for themselves off of the success of the makeshift duo.

The bizarre pairing were punished for their gluttony with a +13 beatdown that left DeathScepter clinging to life. The domination exhibited by Hokey & Ninja_Mime now raises the question of whether or not they can survive an inevitable meeting at Tower of Power, to continue their success as a two-time undefeated team-up!

5. Mimik defeated TonyTheTiger in a ranking decimation!
TonyTheTiger's campaign to climb the rankings had started quite well at Supercard 3, where he got the best of Porygonix. The Tournament 3 winner wasn't going to be as accomodating, however, particularly not with the rankings meaning so much ahead of Supercard 5: Tower of Power!

It was a no nonsense decimation of TonyTheTiger's challenge and hopes of getting an easier ticket toward the Undisputed Championship at SC5! Mimik was dominant, showing the strength of a fighter who has matured significantly over the course of three months. Mimik can now be confident that he will hold a ranking position when the unofficial top ten are announced for ladder spots at the Tower of Power! For TonyTheTiger -- it's back to the drawing board!

4. Scott-Howell & Murdoink defeated Artanix & foahchon in their surprise return to The Great Arena!
Just as The_Purple_Bunny had returned to life in the Battle Royal, so too did Artanix and foahchon make their unexpected arrival as "Mystery Opponents" for The Great Arena's first true team, Scott-Howell & Murdoink!

Despite the shocking spectacle of their entrance into competition, the revived fighters were no match for the combined experience of Scott-Howell & Murdoink. There could be no malice in the occasion, however, as the quartet enjoyed the rare moment. Scott-Howell & Murdoink will presumably move forward from their win with eyes toward establishing themselves as the best competitive team in The Great Arena! What Artanix & foahchon intend to do with their newfound life, remains to be seen.

3. Aquilluxborg Hydroxybot defeated SixArmedSamurai in a hard fought battle!
They are two of the more elusive warriors when it comes to competing in The Great Arena, not sanctioned by The Union of the Human League. With such a grand stage, it would have been remiss to deny them the opportunity to do combat. Though rarely seen under these conditions, the pair put on an exceptional showing, incredibly evenly matched despite the vast differences in their skills!

2. Ratt (#18) eliminated Shoe (#11) to win the Battle Royal!
A random entry of thirty-one competitors was on the card; nine guaranteed qualifiers, six pre-announced competitors, the winner of Tournament 4, Shoe, and the extra "iron man" Ratt, who would also face Revenant Genku later in the night, all lined up waiting to go!

Starting the match at #1 and #2 respectively, unixpunk and xtactics represented the long and short of it, in terms of experience in The Great Arena and in Battle Royal situations. Attacks were fast and furious making them the first candidates for a Battle Royal rivalry, but xtactics would find a more personal foe in #10 Porygonix, who had been Kron's protege before the former-champ eyed xtactics off as the next big thing. Porygonix made his rival elimination #5.

#3 kororaa found herself a nemesis in infamous Battle Royal fixture, STEROLIZER (#5). They exchanged many blows, before STERO was the #4 elimination. Though a humiliating exit, it was a vast improvement on STERO's 2011 Battle Royale showing, where he went out #1 the instant he entered!

Tournament 4 winner, Shoe, arrived early at #11, "Iron Man" Ratt made his big entrance at #18. The pair added to Porygonix and m0s (#9) as power players in the battle. "Big John" Bofh (#20) put in a good show, eliminating Ghostdragon (#12) just a minute after entering the match.

#21 CaTigeReptile made an early impact, shrugging off the advances of m0s to eliminate GuiltyByDesign, kororaa, and AlexanderLuthorJr, before exiting courtesy of the somewhat missing fan-favourite DECEPTION (#29). The_Purple_Bunny was an even bigger surprise entrant, however, apparently returning from the dead to enter at #26. His lifeline was cut after twenty-five minutes by Ratt -- but we're sure to see plenty more from The_Purple_Bunny in the coming months.

In the end, the stars of the show had to be Ratt, m0s, and Porygonix, who collectively eliminated over half the field! Ratt -- a man already famous for doing the impossible in a Battle Royal -- ended the bout with an impressive seven eliminations, one better than m0s and three more than Porygonix! In the end, it came down to Ratt and Shoe, a well fought, but academic conclusion to a match that went one hour and four minutes.

Celebrations were cut short for Ratt as he exited to prepare for his third match in the weekend against arch-rival Revenant Genku. Those celebrations were much shorter than Tyrant-Cenobite's, however. Despite qualifying for guaranteed entry into the random thirty-one person draw, Tyrant was nowhere to be seen! Why he failed to enter a match he fought hard to earn his way into is a question we can only ask until he emerges!

1. Mark defeated rxvt in a close fought grudge match!
It was at Pre-Show 3 that it seemed these two would miss their opportunity to appear at the biggest event of them all. After failing to qualify for the Thirty-Person Battle Royal by the slimmest of margins, their fortunes were gambled on a team bout against xtactics & Celeste at Pre-Show 4, where rxvt & Mark came up short once again.

This unlikely turn of events is what bought them a ticket to the undercard as rxvt turned his ire toward one-time partner, Mark. Blaming him for their defeat, rxvt sought revenge, only to be humbled on the grandest stage of them all. It was a hard fought encounter, won by the slimmest of margins, but in the end, rxvt could only fume in the face of defeat!

0. A special introduction by Mick and Ares Menschlich
In an incredibly rare moment, Mick entered The Great Arena alongside the Baron of War, Ares Menschlich. As the two leading proponents of organized competition, they personally thanked everyone for their on-going participation and attendance in "The Arena". With a marquee team match between Cr0w & Kron and The Barons of Famine & Pestilence, it was an understandably tense moment, but War's dedication to combat remained evident throughout proceedings.

Mick acknowledged all the human fighters who have contributed to the unfolding saga of The Great Arena, but singled out one fighter who took the coward's way out -- Genku. He described Genku's 'resurrection' as a new, unprecedented dimension in the rivalry between his and War's factions and a potential turning point he did not intend to endorse. Mick bathed the arena in a pure white light and declared that on this, the single most important day in Supercard history, there would be LIFE!

Exactly what that had meant would become apparent as Supercard 4 unfolded...
