Genku Flips Script on New Champ

When Genku won the Undisputed Championship at Supercard 89: Breaking Point, he was attacked immediately by VenoMark. VM responded to calls for his suspension by challenging Genku to a title match on Friday Night Fights. Genku didn't answer it during the February 17th edition -- but he's ready to fight for the gold now that he has nothing to lose! The angered former champion bordered on delusion as he blamed officials for costing him the title, demanding a golden path to Ultimate Grand Prix!

The Undisputed Championship has never been defended during Friday Night Fights, but VenoMark has no problem making history this week -- March 3rd!

VenoMark proved he's the deadliest of the species at Pre-Show 90: Venomous Creatures when he outlasted five other fighters! He eliminated Genku last to win the gold, and remains confident that Genku is nothing but a "false god". His title win in The Eliminator match made history. Will he do it again? Be here Friday for a breakdown of all the results!

Monday Night Games (February 27, 2017)

The United were in preparation mode during the Monday Night Games, inviting rick991 & kentei290 to step into the main event spotlight for a training session with Shoe & Artanix!

The former Duo Division Champions have their sights set on this weekend's Supercard 90: Tower of Power XVIII, where they'll have the perfect opportunity to avenge their loss at Supercard 89: Breaking Point! The comprehensive win should be exactly the confidence boost they need to ride momentum into this Sunday, where they'll need to fend off at least one other team on The Tower, before they look to again upset record breaking Hall of Fame champions: Marz & Violent`J!

Murdoink wasn't as fortunate as his teammates. He was unable to turnover unsuccessful Pre-Show 90 contender MKMaster in a match that could've helped his campaign back to the Division 2 Championship! Murdoink seems to still be rattled from his clashes with Invasion arch-rival Loopster -- who was conspicuous by absence, along with the rest of his faction.

Also in the Division 2 contender stakes: SubScorpTile bounced back from last week's contention losing battle with MKM. The four-time Div.2 Champion was once again able to fend off Shinnokxz in a hard fought contest. Despite the loss, these near misses seem to signal Shinnokxz is advancing fast toward solo glory!

Monday Night Games: Week 6 (February 27, 2017):

Weekly Rankings Recap - 2/26/2017

Can you say new Undisputed Champion? Pre-Show 90: Venomous Creatures aimed to address the controversy surrounding Genku and the coveted gold, but it seems unlikely VenoMark's historic title win in The Eliminator match will succeed. With Ultimate Grand Prix VII just over a month away, the title picture is as fuzzy as ever! 2017 Battle Royale winner United: The_Purple_Bunny will be happy to watch his prospective challengers tear each other part, comfortable in the knowledge that UGP has never been headlined with a multi-man match!

Next week the Duo Division Championship will get its chance to take centre stage. Supercard 90: Tower of Power XVIII will sort through the hottest teams in the tandem stakes, most prominently giving "The United" Shoe & Artanix their chance to once again unseat Hall of Fame pairing "Team Xtreme" Marz & Violent`J!

Thanks to Qualification matches at Pre-Show 90, we can expect Sekktor & legoslayer10, McDaniel & fraysol and Benjamin & Mo2 to be among the hopeful pairings taking the test of The Challenger 7! Will one of them become the first pair to ever scale The Tower of Power in one bound? The action continues in March as we count down to the biggest event of the calendar year!

Pre-Show 90: Venomous Creatures

With Supercard 90: Tower of Power XVIII already earmarked for the Duo Division Championship, it was left to Pre-Show 90: Venomous Creatures to play host to a historic main event!

Never before has the Undisputed Championship been defended in The Eliminator match, but with the challengers lining up, and controversies piling against Genku, there was no better way to resolve the conflict than gathering six of the hottest contenders for a famous first! Appropriately, the fates chose Genku to enter the random draw first -- a mixed blessing for the reigning Champion. He'd have to endure the entire field to retain his title - the perfect answer to critics questioning his legitimacy.

Entering #1 also trapped Shen_DuHBK with Genku! Shen not only proved Genku didn't win the Invasion Election, but has also boasted two unanswered wins against the champ. Genku stalked his opponent like a shark circling its pray -- launching a brutal attack that swiftly took the whistleblower out of the match! KFL Champion CaTigeReptile entered next, trading blows with her 2016 nemesis. Genku was able to contain CTR, but the numbers were against him when VenoMark burst into the match at #4! VM played aggressor much as he has since Supercard 89 -- once again turning the tables against the reigning champion! Former champion ElJobber entered next, running into the center of an unlikely 3-on-1 attack! "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet entered last, setting the stage for an all-out war between five heavyweight competitors! They all traded blows, sharing the load until recently dethroned ElJobber started to dominate the match! LordSkarlet managed to contain him, opening the field to VenoMark and Genku! Shared hostilities with CTR condemned the Div.2 champ to be the second elimination at the hands of an opportunistic American Nightmare. For capitalizing on his work, LS earned the ire of VenoMark and ElJobber -- soon eliminated by VM! The action intensified as VenoMark and ElJobber took turns dominating the Undisputed Champion! Then out of almost nowhere -- Genku exploded to eliminate ElJobber and set-up the perfect finish! VenoMark wasted no time launching an all-out assault on the reigning champion. He's repeatedly referred to Genku as a "false god" and himself a "Godkiller". On a night named for the Venomous Creatures stalking the Undisputed Championship -- VenoMark was the deadliest of them all! A dominant finished confirmed what he'd been saying all along: VenoMark is the Undisputed Champion!

While The Eliminator sorted through six of the hottest title challengers, a three-way in the undercard presented the next wave that could threaten the title. "The Chosen One" Damo has quietly been living up to his self-proclaimed moniker, battling through two stages of a grueling three-way match to earn another impressive victory! Granted, "The Hitman" DECEPTION did the heavy lifting to take out United: Mimik in a hard fought opening stage. That only enhanced Damo's triumph, though, as he endured to overcome DECEPTION's considerable momentum!

When Oozaru returned to The Great Arena to help PaganFreak fight for his former partner's soul, he made it clear he still wouldn't fight against Banging. This Friday saw Statix reemerge to take up that burden, singling out Banging for a convincing victory while Oozaru went after DaemonX in a battle billed as 12 years in the making! Unfortunately for him, The Invasion figurehead had no intention of walking in to a one-on-one showdown. With PaganFreak nowhere to be seen - DArqueBishop made an unexpected appearance to help DaemonX inflict a 2-on-1 beatdown on Oozaru! Why DAB would possibly have any ill will towards Oozaru remains a question to be answered!

Poasty answered the question of his durability as Division 2 Champion with his second title defense. MKMaster was able to rise through a last minute contender's match, posing an intriguing new test for the reigning champ. MKM showed he could have the goods to become a staple of the Division 2 contention ranks, but Poasty once again emerged triumphant. A stabilizing force for the gold!

Winners in the Challenger 7 Qualifiers will hope they can be the next to join the championship ranks! Sekktor & legoslayer10, McDaniel & fraysol and Benjamin & Mo2 will have the chance to scale the rungs of Supercard 90: Tower of Power XVIII next weekend!

Ten of the top Duo Division teams will form the contender's tower, with legendary champions Marz & Violent`J perched atop the structure! Any combination who can scale the ominous structure will become the new Duo Division Champions! The Challenger 7 will have the first opportunity, before The Tower turns in on itself, eliminating each combination until there is one golden pair remaining! It all goes down next Sunday -- March 5th! Stay tuned for updates and fallout from Pre-Show 90!

Full Pre-Show 90 Card Announced

While Oozaru may not want to fight his former partner Banging -- reunited ally Statix has no trouble taking The Invasion enforcer head-on! While Oozaru faces DaemonX in a showdown 12 years in the making -- Statix will try to coax Banging out of his misplaced loyalty in a one-on-one clash added to Pre-Show 90: Venomous Creatures out of this week's FNF!

It's one of a handful of newly announced matches confirming Pre-Show 90 will be a Supercard caliber event! The February 26th card will be headlined by the hotly anticipated first-ever Six-Fighter Eliminator for the Undisputed Championship featuring controversial champion Genku and five of his fiercest opponents!

One of those fighters will be Shen_DuHBK -- the Invasion Election Whistleblower who holds two unanswered victories over Genku! Investigator AlbertBeefcake has insisted on remaining in Shen's presence at all times, but Shen will be all alone when he ventures into the high stakes main event. Albo will make a pre-emptive strike, though, reteaming with Super Friend The_Hurricane to take on Friday aggressors "The Invasion"Rhyno & Grayback!

DECEPTION, "The Chosen One" Damo and United: Mimik will also meet in a multi-man match that could have major implications on the shape of the title picture heading into - and coming out of - Ultimate Grand Prix!

"The Predator" TonyTheTiger will also continue hostilities with arch-rival United: Mime! They last met at Supercard 89: Breaking Point, where the advantage swung in favour of Mime to the tune of the KFL Championship. He's since lost the belt, and could be vulnerable to a predatory strike!

All this and much more! Be here tomorrow for all the results -- Sunday, February 26th!

Friday Night Fights (February 24, 2017)

Friday Night Fights was bursting at the seams as several of the "Venomous Creatures" stalked The Great Arena ahead of Pre-Show 90 -- and the women of the league stepped up to turn the open into Female Night Fights! It was all thanks to "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile, who initiated a seismic shift in the KFL Championship last week -- and would back it up with another big title defense.

KittyKat took full advantage of the opportunity - fighting well above her usual level! She caught CTR off guard with the heavy hits, but The Guardian was able to fall back on her vast experience as an eight-time KFL Champion to fight her way back into the match. A solid win that never the less saw CTR raise KittyKat's arm after the match! jess, Dolce, Kairyu, Shizuma and NovaStarr were the big winners earlier in the night. Any one of them could be the next challenger for the KFL Championship!

In the main event; Sekktor continued his quest to liberate his former Duo partner hydraslash from the influence of Corruption clouding his actions for the past year-plus. With legoslayer10 at his back, the pair faced "The Fallen" LordSkarlet and hydraslash head-on. Though the pair remained simpatico for a timely win just nine days from Tower of Power XVIII, there was a noticeable consequence of Sekktor's hopeless fight at Supercard 89: hydraslash is Corrupt no more!

LordSkarlet is one of the Venomous Creatures competing at Pre-Show 90 in the first ever Eliminator for the Undisputed Championship! With two unanswered wins over Genku; Shen_DuHBK will also find himself in the high stakes match. A fact AlbertBeefcake wasn't happy with on Friday, concerned that he won't be able to protect the Invasion Election whistleblower while they're separated. Fears that were validated when Rhyno & Grayback came looking for "Invasion traitor" Shen_DuHBK! The tethered pair fended off the attack, but Shen_DuHBK won't have any help at Pre-Show 90!

The Invasion were also there to stalk reunited combination Oozaru & PaganFreak! With Oozaru set to face Invasion figurehead DaemonX in a Pre-Show 90 showdown 12 years in the making; Loopster, MattHardy & Ghrimm arrived to tip the balance. Little did they realize Alliance fighter Statix was waiting in the wings to come to his friend's aide! The trio fought off The Invasion and celebrated their triumphant reunion!

In another highly anticipated match: MKMaster proved to the league he's a name to watch as he took on SubScorpTile in a Division 2 #1 Contenders match! 4-time Div.2 Champion SubScorpTile earned his shot earlier in the week on Monday Night Games, but MKM was able to turn a win against G0LD last week into a launching pad for his first title challenge! He brought his A-game, earning a good win against the seasoned veteran. Now he'll face Poasty this Sunday at Pre-Show 90: Venomous Creatures! Be here for all the results - including the Challenger 7 Qualifiers and the very first six-fighter Eliminator match for the Undisputed Championship!

Title Tests Tomorrow on Friday

"The Guardian" CaTigeReptile ushered in a new era for the KFL Championship last week when she revealed an intention to only defend the title against the women of The Great Arena!

This weekend at Pre-Show 90; CTR will be one of the "Venomous Creatures" competing to add the Undisputed Championship to her impressive resume! Before that happens - CTR will first have to defend her KFL title during Friday Night Fights when top ranked female fighter KittyKat takes up the challenge!

That won't be the only Title Test occurring during tomorrow's weekly FNF event!

SubScorpTile became #1 Contender to the Division 2 Championship with his win earlier this week during Monday Night Games. MKMaster is another of the Div.2 competitors who's been working his way through the ranks -- and he'll bring SST to FNF to put his contention on the line! The winner will have two days to prepare for Pre-Show 90 where Div.2 Champion Poasty will be waiting to take his next challenge!

There's sure to be plenty more action during the next Friday Night Fights as UGP Season kicks the competition into a higher gear! Be here for all the results tomorrow -- and again on Sunday, February 26th as The Great Arena plays host to Pre-Show 90: Venomous Creatures!

Monday Night Games (February 20, 2017)

The United were back in the hosting position as the Monday Night Games levelled out from a tumultuous few weeks. Along with fresh challenges for members of the group, the arena was also open to a #1 Contenders clash to determine a Division 2 challenger for this weekend!

The Invasion were also back on Monday Night looking to vex The United. Enforcer Banging arrived in the main event to capitalize on the vulnerability of former KFL Champion Mime. The gambit didn't pay off as Mime powered up to secure a comprehensive +8 victory! Loopster had better luck, backing up last week's win with another victory against Murdoink!

Jason_Voorhees & edge were also deployed to keep Oozaru & PaganFreak busy. It was a near miss for Oozaru and his former partner Banging, whose soul Oozaru will fight for this weekend in a battle with DaemonX 12 years in the making!

The Div.2 contenders have both been regulars on the Monday Night schedule, with SubScorpTile making a more targeted chase back to the title. Shinnokxz made a mark leaving the Third Round of the Grand Slam Launch in a draw, while also finding success in his partnership with NosajSamoht. He's been one of the developing names to watch, giving four-time Div.2 Champion SST a good run for his money. In the end, superior experience proved the difference. SST will now graduate to Pre-Show 90, where he'll get a chance to further test reigning Division 2 Champion Poasty!

Last week saw the debut of The United's newest member - a fresh face going by the name zelse. He had a good night in the arena, teaming with Duo Division legend Artanix to secure a comprehensive win against "The Greek Crisis" maxilos & proXade. It was all fun and games in the team-up. Things will no doubt get much more serious in two weeks when Shoe & Artanix reunited for Supercard 90: Tower of Power XVIII! The March 5th event will give The United a chance to reclaim the Duo Division Championship they lost at Supercard 89: Breaking Point!

Monday Night Games: Week 5 (February 20, 2017):
8. United: Mime d. Banging [+8]
7. "The United" Artanix & zelse d. "The Greek Crisis" maxilos & proXade [+1]

- Oozaru versus DaemonX
- SubScorpTile versus Poasty (c) [Division 2 Championship]

Weekly Rankings Recap - 2/19/2017

2017 seems to be the year for unpredictability and controversy! "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile flipped the script on Monday with her sudden KFL Championship win -- declaring it a women's only title on Friday! You have to go back to Supercard 7: A Bird's Eye View for any hint of a gender-based division. It should add an interesting new wrinkle to the KFL title lineage.

Genku remains the Undisputed Champion, despite the revelation that he may not have won the much discussed November Invasion Election. The result is a long list of contenders champing at the bit to take Genku down -- none of them more ferocious than VenoMark!

All of this title chaos is making Poasty look like the statesman of the championship picture. He'll be watching the Monday Night Games closely this week, with Shinnokxz and SubScorpTile reported to be facing off in a Division 2 #1 Contenders match.

Oozaru Books Pre-Show Showdown

When Hall of Famer Steven Oozaru found himself randomly drawn to face Banging in the First Round of Tournament 66 -- he was forced to do something he swore he'd never do. He lost the fight and the will to fight, choosing to immediately end his time in The Great Arena.

He's made occasional appearances since - winning Silver for his country at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games, and making a surprise appearance in the 2017 Battle Royale. The latter a prelude to his surprise return at Supercard 89: Breaking Point - where he was once again compelled to come to the aid of his underdog former Tag Team partner: PaganFreak!

Loyalty to his friends has always been a part of Oozaru's character. While confirming his return during the February 13th edition of Monday Night Games, Oozaru made it clear he still has no intention of fighting his old friend Banging -- but that doesn't mean he won't fight for him!

Oozaru has returned with an overwhelming sense of obligation. Not only for the burden taken up by PaganFreak, but for the very manipulations of Banging that PF was trying to put an end to.

DaemonX has had a hold on Banging since the final days of the ICWW promotion, where a secret history turned the masked Kiwi into a pawn for DaemonX. Oozaru had sworn he would free his Pacific Connection partner of DaemonX's influence during one of the last record instalments of ICWW: Aftershock, but the closure of the company meant a resolution was never achieved.

At Pre-Show 90, Oozaru will be fighting for Banging's soul when he finally faces DaemonX in a one on one grudge match over 12 years in the making! The first explosive battle added to an already hotly anticipated February card, where Genku will also aim to end the dispute over his reign as Undisputed Champion!

Pre-Show 90 (February 26th, 2017):
- To Be Advised versus Genku (c) [Undisputed Championship]
- Oozaru versus DaemonX

Officials Reach Undisputed Championship Ruling

The Undisputed Championship has arguably never been in greater dispute! Genku has been a controversial champion from the moment he won the title at Supercard 89: Breaking Point -- immediately facing aggressive opposition from VenoMark!

While VM continues to call him a "false god"; Genku also now faces the revelation that he may not have actually won the November Invasion Contender Election!

The possibility of vacating the championship was addressed today when officials confirmed the title will remain with Genku, to be held up in the main event at Pre-Show 90 - Sunday, February 26th.

League officials stressed that although the influence of last year's Invasion Election was taken into consideration, [Genku] earned his shot with a win at Supercard 88: Battle Royale. That noted, they also agreed that circumstances demand that Genku prove himself as soon as possible. Supercard 90: Tower of Power XVIII has already been earmarked for the Duo Division Championship.

VenoMark won't be the only fighter vying for the chance to face the Undisputed Champion! There remains a strong shortlist of contenders all circling the coveted gold with legitimate claim.

In the chaos of Supercard 89, ElJobber has been somewhat forgotten. The former champion is still riding high on back-to-back 2016 Master's Series and 2017 Grand Slam Launch tournament wins. A rematch could be a very likely outcome.

- If Genku wasn't the true winner of the Invasion Contender Election, then that means "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet won the people's trust to challenge for the gold. He's arguably the most logical choice to clear up doubt surrounding the legitimacy of Genku's championship win.

- Newly crowned KFL Champion "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile made it clear she thinks she should get the title shot, having thwarted The Invasion at the end of last year, and scored a decisive win over Genku at Supercard 87: End Of Days! Nobody was more opposed to the Invasion Election.

- "The Chosen One" Damo was competitive as Runner-Up to the 2017 Grand Slam Launch. He followed it up with a confident victory over former champion DECEPTION at Supercard 89. He considers himself the "Chosen One" to be champ, and could very well be setting himself up to be the wind of change ahead of Ultimate Grand Prix!

- Even Shen_DuHBK has a convincing case for an Undisputed Championship shot. As the whistle blower who identified vote tampering in leaked Election data, he's at the epicenter of calls to strip Genku of the gold. He also holds two unanswered victories over the champion as recent as January!

One thing's certain: 2017 Battle Royale winner The_Purple_Bunny will be waiting patiently for his opportunity to pounce. Whoever walks away with the Undisputed Championship will be in prime position to face The United's newest recruit in the main event of Ultimate Grand Prix VIII!

Friday Night Fights (February 17, 2017)

A massive week of developments meant all eyes were on Friday Night Fights and the Undisputed Championship! Everyone wondered if Genku would show up to accept VenoMark's challenge for the title -- but it was a completely different champion who opened the action packed card!

"The Guardian" CaTigeReptile won the KFL Championship in a surprise main event during this week's Monday Night Games. Stepping into the FNF spotlight, she started by denouncing Genku's Undisputed Championship win as illegitimate. She pointed to her win at Supercard 87: End Of Days as proof she should be the #1 Contender, but had no illusions about getting a title shot any time soon. She explained that was the reason for taking matters into her own hands on Monday Night. She asked if anyone could name the last female champion of any kind - because she couldn't.

CTR said she was proud of fighting for the league during last year's Koaliton against The Invasion, and now it was important to feel proud of fighting for her gender. That's why from now on the KFL Championship will only be defended against women! With that bold declaration she introduced Kiara85 -- a female fighter she noticed during the 2016 Summer Olympic Games. The defense was a comfortable win for the 8-time KFL champ, who raised Kiara85's arm after the match, never the less.

It was a less joyous occasion later in the night when WilliamRegal returned with Duo partner TripleH seeking revenge against old nemesis AlbertBeefcake for his brutal interrogation, last week. Having learned Shen_DuHBK's Invasion Election vote was altered to effect the outcome, Albert was insistent that the pair remain in constant contact for his safety. That meant Shen became his unlikely Duo Division partner! Despite some obvious tension, they combined to make a potent force easily able to do away with Regal & TripleH.

Shen_DuHBK's election tampering revelation had an unexpected impact on "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet. The Invasion Election loser found himself the target of suspicion from The Invasion themselves: Jason_Voorhees & edge believing LordSkarlet altered the result himself to reverse the true outcome! LordSkarlet's Fallen ally hydraslash helped him fend off their accusers with a strong +3 impact. Depending on the outcome, LordSkarlet may be the rightful Invasion Contender Elect, but lingering suspicions about The Fallen's allegiance may mean it counts for naught!

VenoMark certainly felt Genku should be stripped of the title under the circumstances. He arrived as promised at the end of the night, waiting for the Undisputed Champion to defend his honor. Genku was nowhere to be seen, likely sticking to his call for VenoMark to be suspended for his Supercard 89 post-title fight attack (and victory). Before he could gloat too hard, Battle Royale winner United: The_Purple_Bunny rushed into the arena to get the drop on VenoMark! The impromptu match saw VenoMark get a taste of his own medicine, defeated in a hard fought brawl.

The_Purple_Bunny will face whoever holds the Undisputed Championship in April, having won the right to challenge in the main event of Ultimate Grand Prix! With so much chaos surrounding him - could it be TPB thinks he'd stand a better chance with Genku? There are many questions surrounding the title picture! Be here as we sift for answers in the countdown to the biggest event of the year!

VenoMark Responds With Friday Challenge

Supercard 89 was clearly VenoMark's breaking point when it comes to being overlooked for the Undisputed Championship. After proving his point with another brutal defeat of former champion Mimik, he returned at the end of the night to goad new champion Genku into a non-title defeat!

Genku has already called for VenoMark's suspension after the vicious attack, but with the bombshell revelation that Genku won the November Invasion Election through voter tampering, Genku faces a record low of belief in his credibility.

Amidst the chaos, VenoMark has responded to Genku's suspension demands by issuing a challenge!

VenoMark said Genku has been exposed as the "false god" he knew he was. He proved it by making Genku bleed at Supercard 89, and now everyone else knows it too. VenoMark said it's time to stop being a coward and trying to avoid the inevitable by getting him suspended. If Genku wants to be a real champion, instead of running, he should come to Friday Night Fights and prove himself!

VenoMark reiterated he's beaten nearly every Undisputed Champion from the past year. He's a bona fide godkiller and he beat the false god Genku. All that's left is to come to Friday Night Fights and finish what he started. He made it clear he won't be going anywhere but the arena tomorrow night!

The title encounter will make history as the first ever Undisputed Championship defense on a Friday Night Fights card! FNF goes down tomorrow - February 17th! Do not miss it!

RSI: Bombshell - "I Did Not Vote For Genku"

Genku and the Undisputed Championship continue to be a hotbed for daily controversy, but the biggest bombshell to come out of Supercard 89: Breaking Point may not have been the attack by VenoMark, which has the champion calling for his suspension!

Since the start of the year, AlbertBeefcake has been head of an official investigation into allegations Genku won the November Invasion Election via vote tampering. Thus far, most of AB's inquiries have been centered on ruling out suspects, so a routine interrogation of Shen_DuHBK at Supercard 89 wasn't expected to yield results. When the match was over, most didn't think it had.

Upon his defeat, Shen_DuHBK whispered something that sent AlbertBeefcake into a state of stunned silence. Thanks to an anonymous tip, we've learned the shocking phrase The Invasion fighter uttered: "I did not vote for Genku".

A recent leak of vote data clearly shows Shen_DuHBK's ballot was tallied in favour of Genku -- who won the Contender Election by one vote!

Shen would've had no way of knowing his vote was altered until the leak of data, which confirms at least one act of vote tampering.

It could be argued Genku earned his Championship winning title shot through victory at Supercard 88: Battle Royale, but with so much controversy already surrounding the title winner, the court of public opinion is unlikely to see it that way.

Officials are yet to comment on the situation, but it's conceivable pressures could lead to a decision to vacate the Undisputed Championship! Genku has accrued a significant list of powerful enemies who have all had claim to the top title -- and to motives to sabotage his reign. We'll continue to follow this story as it develops.

Champ Calls for VenoMark Suspension

Supercard 89: Breaking Point should've been one of the greatest moments in Genku's career, but instead of celebrating his Undisputed Championship win -- he was left lying by an unscheduled attack by VenoMark!

VenoMark has been a powder keg of frustration as his rivals have repeatedly risen to the title that has eluded him. His actions have become increasingly volatile in recent months, leading him to goad Genku into a non-title clash after the main event title change.

Genku believes VenoMark's actions were way out of line and he never should've been forced into a situation like that after competing in a championship match. He's demanding respect as the new Undisputed Champion and he's calling for VenoMark's immediate suspension!

Officials are yet to make a ruling on the call. Stay tuned for updates as we follow the story.

Monday Night Games (February 13, 2017)

Twenty-four hours after an explosive Supercard 89: Breaking Point -- Monday Night Games played host to another massive event! Still reeling from their Duo Division Championship loss; The United were forced to endure another disappointment as Mime answered a challenge from an unexpected KFL Championship challenger!

In the opening match The United introduced the newest member to join their ranks: zelse! The newcomer kicked off his career on the Games the perfect way, picking up a confident victory over Invasion foe Jesseman! zelse is the new member they said they'd be scouting for back on the very first installment of the new show. His development is sure to be an interesting feature of Mondays!

If zelse was the something new on Feb 13th, Oozaru was the something! The Hall of Famer returned as PaganFreak's surprise partner at Supercard 89, and confirmed his return with a follow-up match during The Games! He joked that he once again had to come to PF's rescue, referencing his walkout last May, and his prior reluctant partnership. He confirmed he still has no desire to fighting his old Duo partner Banging, but admits he wouldn't be a good friend if he didn't put an end to DaemonX's dark influence of his friend once and for all!

"The Guardian" CaTigeReptile successfully fended off Banging and The Invasion's attacks at Supercard 89, and made a surprise appearance during The Games to challenge Mime for his newly reclaimed KFL Championship! The Invasion destroyer seemed notably determined to recapture the title - earning a solid win in the night's main event! The match was surprising on a lot of levels, not the least of which is CTR's high profile! With a win over current Undisputed Champion Genku at Supercard 87: End Of Days, and her status as leader of The Koalition that ousted The Invasion, she arguably should've been eyeing the top gold! Never the less, she becomes an eight-time KFL champ!

The Games were also host to several hotly contested grudge matches! Loopster couldn't walk away from his loss to Murdoink at Supercard 89. The Invasion fighter struck hard and fast on The United fighter's home turf - extracting a +2 impact victory! Shinnokxz & NosajSamoht produced the same result in reverse - fending off the rematch challenge of Sgtf & BilboFett. It was also revenge for a shock loss last week that motivated SubScorpTile to take down upstart fighter GreenLantern!

Monday Night Games: Week 4 (February 13, 2017):
7. "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile d. United: Mime (c) [+2] [KFL Championship]
6. Oozaru & PaganFreak d. "The Invasion" MattHardy & Ghrimm [+1]
5. Loopster d. United: Murdoink [+2]
4. Shinnokxz & NosajSamoht d. Sgtf & BilboFett [+2]
3. "The Greek Crisis" maxilos & proXade d. KurtAngle & EricAngle [+1]
2. SubScorpTile d. GreenLantern [+1]
1. United: zelse d. Jesseman [+2]

Weekly Rankings Recap - 2/12/2017

A shocking end to Supercard 89: Breaking Point meant the Undisputed Championship left around the waist of Genku -- but the momentum was squarely behind VenoMark! The post-match attack was reminiscent of the famous "April Fool" title change at UGP2, but the battle did not result in a title change. Instead, VenoMark scored the visual win - declaring Genku a false god!

It was a nice for big title matches: "Team Xtreme" Marz & Violent`J sent a cold chill through the ranks as they reclaimed the Duo Division Championship in confident fashion. It could be another long year for the tandem ranks now that they're back on top! Supercard 89: Breaking Point

The looming promise of Ultimate Grand Prix adds a heightened sense of pressure to The Great Arena! Accusations weigh heavily on would-be champions. Divided loyalties tug at corrupted souls. History beckons to the mighty fallen - threatening to engulf the new breed. Desperation for glory pushes men to extremes. Supercard 89 could only be the Breaking Point for all!

14. VenoMark defeated Genku (c) in a comprehensive non-title attack! [+5]
Genku's championship celebration was cut short when VenoMark stormed back into the arena. With electoral fraud accusations still hanging over him, VenoMark attacked Genku's credibility and dared him to fight! Genku didn't want a bar of it, but VenoMark kept prodding until a fight had to happen one way or another! With no agreement for the Undisputed Championship to be at stake, the pair went into overtime with a brutal brawl! Exhausted from the match he'd just fought prior, Genku could not compete with the fresher man. VenoMark left the champ "lying" in the centre of the arena -- a double entendre he prayed upon. As the event came to a shocking close, VenoMark called Genku a false god -- and he'd proved it by making him bleed!

13. Genku defeated ElJobber (c) in a comprehensive win! [+1] [Undisputed Championship]
The moniker of "Invasion Contender Elect" was left behind as Genku marched toward destiny in the main event. The controversial November Election may have helped cement Genku as a contender, but it was arguably his win at Supercard 88: Battle Royale that earned him the shot at the Undisputed Championship. Awaiting him was a fighter with unparalleled momentum! ElJobber secured the Undisputed gold after winning the 2016 Master's Series and 2017 Grand Slam Launch back-to-back! With an unblemished record for they ear, ElJobber cut an imposing figure. Ironically, it may've been the distractions of an official investigation and voter data leaks that helped insulate Genku from the enormity of the situation. With every odd stacked against him - he set out to achieve the unthinkable! With everyone watching in stunned silence - Genku did exactly that! He was decisive in his assault against the champ. It was reminiscent of the precision strikes he ordered late last year, focused on a single opponent, for a single objective. Few fighters have desired the Undisputed Championship as intensely, and for as long, as Genku. In an emotional display, he finished the job many thought he couldn't - or shouldn't. With ElJobber defeated, he raised the Undisputed Championship for the world to see! The moment of validation was short-lived, however. Genku thought this guaranteed he'd face United: The_Purple_Bunny at Ultimate Grand Prix, but there was still another act to follow...

12. "Team Xtreme" Marz & Violent`J defeated "The United" Shoe & Artanix (c) in a solid victory! [+1] [Duo Division Championship]
When "The United" Shoe & Artanix entered the arena at Supercard 87: End Of Days - nobody really expected it to be the end of Team Xtreme's historic 420 day Duo Division Championship reign. It was the feather in The United's cap that helped them dethrone The Invasion as master's of Monday Nights. It seemed as if it would be a new era, but the fun and games ended when Violent`J arrived on February 6th to issue a rematch! Nobody was quite sure what to expect from another highly anticipated encounter. While some thought The United had Team Xtreme's number, others felt it was just a fluke. The truth lay somewhere in between -- a UGP caliber match erupting in the semi main of Supercard 89! The Hall of Fame tandem were highly motivated, but The United were not going to give the titles up without a fight! It was a hard hitting showdown, but in the end, Team Xtreme hit hardest! The air seemed to be sucked out of The Great Arena as Shoe & Artanix reached their breaking point. Marz & Violent`J are once again the Duo Division Champions, beginning a new reign that will come with massive speculation about the year ahead!

11. United: Mime defeated "The Predator" TonyTheTiger (c) [+1] [KFL Championship]
As time passes, it becomes increasingly difficult to remember who started what in the bitter feud between Mime and the KFL Champion: TonyTheTiger. The momentum swung in The Predator's favor at Supercard 88, costing Mime the championship he won at New Year's Resolution. Having fought to help The United secure control at Pre-Show 89, Mime wasn't an obvious favourite heading in to his championship rematch. He was able to draw confidence from the team victory, bringing his A-game to the vicious encounter. The Predator always comes to fight, but Mime was explosive - unloading everything he has to re-secure the KFL Championship! A well earned victory!

10. "The Chosen One" Damo defeated "The Hitman" DECEPTION [+1]
They clashed during the Third Round of the Grand Slam Launch, fought for qualification at Pre-Show 88, and mixed it up during the forty-fighter Battle Royale match. The highly anticipated battle between DECEPTION and Damo did not disappoint, producing a heavyweight collision worthy of the Undisputed Championship! DECEPTION clearly had his scope set on taking the self-proclaimed "Chosen One" down, but the "Hitman" was confronted with a moving target! When the match reached breaking point - Damo kept on his winning ways. 2017 proving to be a good year!

9. Oozaru & PaganFreak defeated "The Invasion" DaemonX & Jauger in a hard match! [+1]
Mind games plagued Banging at the end of 2016, tearing his loyalties between manipulating factions of The Invasion and British Exit. DaemonX struck back at Pre-Show 86, tapping in to mental torture inflicted in the days of ICWW to ensure Banging's ultimate return. PaganFreak emerged an unlikely advocate for Banging, pledging to fight for his soul with a Duo challenge designed to obviously deal with PaganFreak's underdog status. Those who suspected an Alliance fighter, or even Grayback, were treated to a massive shock when his unannounced partner turned out to be Oozaru! The Hall of Famer infamously walked out on PaganFreak last May - refusing to fight his old friend and Pacific Connection partner Banging! Last seen as a surprise entrant at Battle Royale, it seems Oozaru has been convinced to come to PaganFreak's aid once again! He was the perfect antidote, as well, helping overcome DaemonX and his surprise partner - PaganFreak's former Alliance teammate: Jauger! Will the return of Oozaru have the desired effect? It remains to be seen!

8. Poasty (c) defeated G0LD in a solid win! [+2] [Division 2 Championship]
A string of confident victories placed the fighter known as G0LD back on the Division 2 contender's radar. His short career has produced a number of noteworthy results, but it was his January 30th win over former champion Murdoink that earned him a Championship opportunity. For Poasty, it would be the perfect test of his newly reclaimed title -- a belt he's famously never defended in two reigns! Firmly back among the fighting ranks, Poasty showed how much the Division 2 Championship means to him. G0LD proved to be a worthy challenger, but Poasty was able to rise to the challenge! Poasty was gracious in victory, shaking hands with G0LD before celebrating his first recorded title defense! Another triumph for the fighter who very nearly left it all behind!

7. "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet defeated Sekktor in a comprehensive win! [+5]
The Corruption of hydrslash occurred all the way back in the middle of 2015. As a part of "Lucifer's Ladder", he helped bring about the end of the Kombat Fight League. His unholy masters have long since relinquished their influence, but the rise of LordSkarlet as leader of The Fallen has kept the darkness in his soul alive. Sekktor once counted hydraslash among his friends, and after a series of distractions took him away from his friend's plight, he vowed to renew his efforts at Supercard 87 and 2017 New Year's Resolution. Fighting hydrslash face-to-face had failed, so he turns his attention to the "American Nightmare". It was a match he was never expected to win. A futile effort to have some effect. An act of desperation. LordSkarlet comprehensively shut down every single attack Sekktor tried. He tried to convince Sekktor that it was pointless - that he'd failed. That he had fallen. Still Sekktor tried to fight - never giving up. He suffered for his hubris - finally put down by LordSkarlet.

6. "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile defeated Banging in convincing fashion! [+2]
When The Invasion began a series of precision strikes against the fighters of the union, "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile led a Koalition of willing fighters to stop them once and for all. The End of Days she ushered in brought about the downfall of The Invasion, but on January 23rd, the faction regrouped to reveal a lingering presence in The Great Arena. Back among their ranks, Banging was to be the instrument of revenge at Breaking Point. The Kiwi sabre did his best to strike at the hear of The Guardian, but she remained steadfast in her domination of the sinister group. They say revenge is a dish best served cold, but if PaganFreak could have his way later in the night, it would be a meal Banging will never have to feast on.

5. "The New Generation" Baraka_MK & Onryo defeated KittyKat & JoelKatz in a solid win. [+1]
The early parts of 2017 have proven to be a breakout period for KittyKat & JoelKatz. The classic duo have earned a string of victories and were ready to put themselves to the test at Supercard 89. "The New Generation" Baraka_MK & Onryo remain the gatekeepers to the peak of the tandem competition. The Katz proved they have what it takes to hang with the best, but there was no denying the superior firepower of The New Generation.

4. AlbertBeefcake defeated Shen_DuHBK in a revelatory narrow victory! [+1]
Questions have surrounded the November Invasion Contender Election ever since the bombshell allegations of December. AlbertBeefcake has pursued his investigation ever since, interrogating fighters and combing evidence. Old suspicions brought him back to WilliamRegal during this week's Friday Night Fights, but another fighter caught his eye on that night - Shen_DuHBK. Under the hot lights of Supercard 89, Albert attempted to interrogate The Invasion fighter. The "Red Cyclone" put up a strong fight, but in the end, the Rar Scene Investigator was able to subdue him. With the match over, Shen_DuHBK whispered something to AlbertBeefcake that left the veteran speechless.

3. United: Murdoink defeated Loopster in a solid victory. [+3]
At Pre-Show 89, the battle for control over Monday Nights turned into a personal war for Murdoink and Loopster! The 5-on-5 Survival Sequence began in The United's favor thanks to Murdoink, but when Loopster entered the fray for The Invasion, the team battle became an epic struggle between two individuals. They collided like two evenly matched bulls, only for Loopster to chip away until Murdoink could fight no more. Eager for reprisal, The United fighter reveled in the chance for a fair one-on-one fight. The battle was competitive, but a fresh Murdoink proved too strong.

2. Politics & Menas defeated "Brexiteers" Liam & nif [+1]
Together, Politics & Menas have been establishing themselves as major players in the Duo Division, but during Tournament 77, Menas showed he's a solo force to be reckoned with, as well! A Round 1 victory over nif propelled him into an impressive run. "Brexiteers" Liam & nif were eager to settle the score and further their goals to conquer the Duo Division ranks. They fought well, but Politics & Menas earned a well deserved Supercard victory.

1. VenoMark defeated United: Mimik in an utter destruction! [+17]
"Breaking Point" was a fitting name as VenoMark opened Supercard 89 with a passionate display of fists and fire! He gave Mimik absolutely no time to gain his bearings- launching directly into a rush attack that completely bamboozled the Hall of Famer! The United fighter had absolutely opportunity to find his way into the match, leading to a quick, devastating finish. It was a validation of sorts for VenoMark, whose past victories against Mimik led him to issue the frustrated challenge. Nobody could expect the significance of the match and its timing until the end of the night...

Full Supercard Reaches Breaking Point

Supercard 89: Breaking Point is just one day away - and the Sunday card just got a major injection of high profile matches! Two more championship bouts can be confirmed for the event, with several fighters stepping up as they feel the pressure of their own "Breaking Points"!

"The Predator" TonyTheTiger snatched the KFL Championship from Mime at Supercard 88: Battle Royale! Now these bitter rivals will clash once again as Mime attempts to reclaim the title, bringing it back to The United and their Monday Night Games! Reigning Division 2 Champion Poasty will also defend his recently won title against the hopeful advances of hot prospect G0LD!

Sekktor's New Year's Resolution was to put aside his own desires to fight for the soul of his former Duo Division partner Corrupt hydraslash! He hasn't had any luck by facing hydraslash face-to-face, so now he's going to the source of the lingering corruption: "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet!

The battle for control at Pre-Show 89 has pushed Loopster and Murdoink into a bitter battle. This time it'll just be the two of them one-on-one, with The Invasion and The United left to watch the bitter struggle from the stands!

"The Hitman" DECEPTION has been harboring his own bitter feelings towards "The Chosen One" Damo -- and now he has his target set on him! Damo upset DECEPTION in the Third Round of the Grand Slam Launch. They mixed it up during the 2017 Battle Royale as well. Now they'll settle the score as The Hitman reaches breaking point!

Friday Night Fights (February 10, 2017)

Twenty-four hours after the leak of Invasion Election data: AlbertBeefcake was back on Friday Night Fights to continue his investigations in the matter. Still working from a theory that votes were altered to effect the outcome, Albo spent much of the night hunting old nemesis WilliamRegal for interrogation!

Albert has a history of fingering WilliamRegal whenever there's trouble afoot. It goes back to their days in ICWW, but it doesn't seem likely to have a future. Despite Albert's insistence that Regal was guilty of something, he was ultimately satisfied that the pummeling he dolled out exonerated him of any wrong doing.

In the night's main event, Shen_DuHBK attempted to bounce back from his loss to the KFL Champ last week by challenging his Pre-Show 88 opponent "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile! She had no trouble fending off "Bad Bad" Leroy last week, and made light work of Shen_DuHBK as well!

This weekend CaTigeReptile will face a greater challenge when The Invasion strikes back for her role in leading to their ultimate demise! 2-time KFL Champion Banging is their chosen instrument of destruction! Supercard 89: Breaking Point will also see CTR's controversial nemesis Genku face Undisputed Champion ElJobber in a hotly anticipated title bout! It all goes down this weekend in The Great Arena - Sunday, February 12th!

RSI: Invasion Election Voting Data Leaks

"Invasion Contender Elect" Genku is just days away from fulfilling his challenge of ElJobber for the Undisputed Championship. It's a match already enshrouded in controversy: stemming from the allegations that Genku earned contention confidence of The Invasion through fraudulent or falsified election. An official investigation is still in progress, yet to determine the legitimacy of these accusations, leaving many speculating about the legitimacy of Genku as a champion.

In a new twist, full data from The Invasion Election has been leaked by an anonymous source to The Great Arena website.

Votes for Genku [14]: Genku, chaos_Drone, DaemonX, edge, Grayback, Jason_Voorhees, Jericho, Jesseman, KurtAngle, Loopster, Rhyno, Shen_DuHBK, The_Rock, Zengeance

Votes for LordSkarlet [13]: LordSkarlet, Chromatose, EricAngle, Ghrimm, hydraslash, Jauger, MattHardy, MINION, Shaggy2Dope, SubScorpTile, TripleH, Violent`J, WilliamRegal

The data clearly shows Genku won by a single vote, attributing each vote to an exposed identity within The Invasion. It should be noted, prominent Invasion identity Banging was still operating as a member of The British Exit at the time of the election, and was therefore not eligible to vote.

While the data appears to support Genku's dismissal of the accusations, it cannot be ruled out that these votes were somehow altered. Now that the information has gone public, it's sure to cause a stir within AlbertBeefcake's already delicate investigation.

Monday Night Games (February 6, 2017)

The Monday Night Games may be just three weeks old, but already The United have amassed a legion of enemies! After last week's attack by VenoMark, and the Pre-Show 89: Control II victory against The Invasion, there were reasonable expectations for assaults from several hostile sources. Nobody expected it would be the return of "The Y2Juggalo" Violent`J that challenged The United!

Shoe & Artanix reached a new echelon of success when they ended the 420 day reign of "Team Xtreme" Marz & Violent`J in a shock win at Supercard 87: End Of Days. It was an unexpected victory that gave The United the power to end The Invasion in a single battle of Trios -- a match that also included Violent`J on the losing side! VJ was back on Monday Nights to call out the weekly event's new masters and challenge them to an Duo Division Championship rematch!

Artanix answered Violent`J's challenge with one of his own, launching into a solo main event fight with the Hall of Famer! Artanix was completely unintimidated - fighting to a solid victory! Violent`J told him to enjoy it while it lasts as he backed off into the night.

In the undercard: Murdoink fended off the hopeful advances of Div. 2 Invasion fighter KurtAngle. Angle's compadre in arms Grayback was approached by Alliance fighter PaganFreak, who had questions about Banging. Grayback shut him down with a hard hitting win.

In the shock of the night, GreenLantern returned to competition with a stunning win against former Division 2 Champion SubScorpTile! An unexpected attack caught SST completely by surprise, a +5 impact resulting from the comprehensive win!
