New Generation Play VS United - Next Week

The New Generation competed together as recently as The Spring Classic, but speculation persists there are cracks forming in this once terrific trio! They insist there's no issue, but they'll be put to the test next Monday when they're invited to compete in a special edition of VS United!

There were no signs of trouble when Baraka_MK and "Mad Dog" Onryo went their separate ways after losing at Ultimate Grand Prix VII. They both agreed developing their individual fighting skills could help them better conquer the Duo Division Championship.

The first shift was felt when Onryo made a splash competing on Friday Night Fights. There, he quickly earned attention as a prospective Division 2 Championship contender. He was entering into a similarly heated world of solo competition usually reserved for team leader DECEPTION!

Initially, that didn't stop Onryo coming to the aid of his partner when he came under siege from a pair of foes. They fought together at Pre-Show 92, but as Onryo's title contention came under increasing pressure, BMK was forced to find a new ally. At Pre-Show 93, he teamed with MKMaster for the very first time.

As fate would have it, MKMaster was a freshly dethroned Div.2 Champion himself. At Supercard 93: The Chosen, Onryo's hopes for a title shot were pitted against MKM in what turned into a fiercely competitive match!

At Pre-Show 94, Baraka_MK & MKMaster continued to team together. They vigorously celebrated victory while Onryo and DECEPTION tasted bitter defeat later in the card. It was here speculation turned to tensions between MKM and Onryo, and cracks forming in The New Generation!

Baraka_MK & MKMaster further consolidated their alliance during this week's Monday Night Games, and have even challenged Mark & Leroy to a battle at this weekend's Supercard 94: Red Reign! Are The New Generation still the future of the league - or is this the beginning of the end?

Be here Sunday, June 4th for all the Supercard action -- and then come back Monday, June 5th when The United host The New Generation for another special edition of VS United!

RSI: AlbertBeefcake Missing

Since Ultimate Grand Prix VII; AlbertBeefcake has been working a mystery he called The Case of The Italian Bishop. It began with Shen_DuHBK and a lone curiosity, but has quickly unraveled into a larger conspiracy involving an army of chess-inspired soldiers and pawns.

AlbertBeefcake thought he was on the verge of a major breakthrough, but after nine days without any contact - the investigator is officially considered missing.

The lead up to Albert's disappearance began at The Spring Classic, where his investigating ally, Statix, confirmed new recruits of the current incarnation of The Invasion receive a chess piece from former leader: DaemonX.

Statix already suspected DaemonX of re-enacting an unfinished conspiracy begun in the days of ICWW. It was a plot Statix himself had been an unwilling participant in. After The Invasion staged deliberate attempts to interfere in the investigation; AlbertBeefcake challenged DaemonX to an interrogation match at Supercard 93: The Chosen.

On May 21st, DaemonX appeared to answer the challenge of a Supercard showdown - but AlbertBeefcake was nowhere to be found. He has not made contact with anyone in over a week.

During this weekend's Pre-Show 94, Statix stepped in to replace AlexanderLuthorJr in a Duo match to reconnect with AlbertBeefcake's old partner: The_Hurricane. Hurricane confirms he hasn't heard from Albert in weeks, but is eager to help.

With no alternative, Statix will walk the same path as his missing ally when he challenges DaemonX at this weekend's Supercard 94: Red Reign! He will either learn the truth about AlbertBeefcake's disappearance  -- or suffer the same fate.

Monday Night Games (May 29, 2017)

The United kept on their winning ways during this week's Monday Night Games. They followed up a Survival Sequence victory at Pre-Show 94: Blood Gold with another night of wins against The Fallen, freshly re-christened The Red Reign!

redman hoped to make a red title reign by parlaying victories against The United last week, and at Supercard 93, into a main event challenge for the KFL Championship! Mime had absolutely no trouble rejecting the attempted title grab, executing a bloodless, but comprehensive victory! Mime will captain a team of trios this weekend at Supercard 94 as The Red Reign faces the acid test! The rest of the Red Reign trio suffered similar setbacks earlier in the night!

United Interim Captain Artanix put a confident end to Sekktor's vicious campaign for vengeance. Previous encounters on May 1st and May 15th had seen Sekktor more successfully grind Artanix down in close quarters battles. Sekktor has been out for Artanix since he eliminated hydraslash during an edition of VS United, late last month. Art finally found clearance to issue a comprehensive rebuttal to Sekktor's challenge! He'll taken on LordSkarlet this weekend when their blood feud escalates into a Steel Cage Fight at Supercard 94! LordSkarlet put Shoe on the shelf at The Spring Classic, but Artanix issued a MAX Damage demolition at Supercard 93! The steel will decide who reigns supreme - this Sunday, June 2nd!

Artanix likely fought well because he didn't have to get involved in The United's Survival Sequence win at Pre-Show 94! Mimik had the honor of eliminating LordSkarlet to claim team victory against The Red Reign. The Hall of Famer kept his winning streak up, utterly destroying legoslayer10 with a +22 impact! The win reinforced a tense face-off with The_Purple_Bunny earlier in the night, where he emphasized his role in winning at Pre-Show 94. Responding to last week, Mimik told TPB he had no troubling pulling his weight. TPB better do the same against CaTigeReptile this Sunday.

It wasn't all smiles or The United: Murdoink decided to partner with zelse in a challenge against his former Duo partner Baraka_MK, and his recent ally: MKMaster. BMK & MKM have been on an undefeated streak since first pairing against common enemies at Pre-Show 93. Their chemistry has proven truly formidable, evident in a solid rebuttal of The United's challenge!

While celebrating the win, MKMaster said he bet the two of them could beat just about any team in the league. Baraka_MK lit up and asked MKM if he would partner against the Duo who beat him at Ultimate Grand Prix VII: Mark & Leroy. MKM didn't even hesitate, telling the tandem they better bring it on at Supercard 94: Red Reign! Another intriguing match for this weekend - June 4th!

Weekly Rankings Recap - 5/28/2017

Once again Genku has been given a big ball to run with. I hope he will have the temperament to see this as a positive and ride it through to its conclusion. This week's Friday Night Fights could go down as a pivotal moment in arena history. I really liked the intensity of the stand-off, and the potential it presents moving forward. The Invasion keeps evolving as a concept. In its current streamlined form I think Genku's takeover should prove mutually beneficial.

I already see Jason_Voorhees & edge as big winners in The Invasion's change-up. Repositioning CCShadow & Scott-Howell as rivals was a natural way of extending The Invasion's role as one of the anchoring teams. JV & edge didn't win gold at Pre-Show 94: Blood Gold, but it was a great first attempt. I look forward to their story developing more before they get their next shot.

I'm very much looking forward to The Pacific Connection's next shot at the champs at Supercard 94: Red Reign! Their previous title bouts on May 5th and Pre-Show 93 were main event caliber competitions! I'm hoping to see them do it against this weekend. For their sake, a title change might be nice, but CCShadow & Scott-Howell are really having their moment. It won't be easy.

The announcement of ElJobber's imminent return at Supercard 94 will clearly ruffle a few feathers. I can't think of any better challenger for the Undisputed Championship at this time. It will have been two months since he went to war in an Iron Man Death Match at Ultimate Grand Prix VII, coming off of a very strong start to the year. He should be a very strong challenger and a great scalp if Damo can keep his momentum going!

"The Hitman" DECEPTION may be the big loser in Damo's title win. He felt poised for something much bigger after defeating Kron at UGP! I see him as a potential challenger down the line, possibly in July, but his loss to TonyTheTiger at Pre-Show 94 was very ill timed.

Big Steel Cage Fight this weekend! LordSkarlet is fighting on the edge, but with his reputation, it might just pay-off. Also very keen to see what Shinnokxz can do when he takes on Poasty! Be here for all the action and build up to this Sunday, June 4th for Supercard 94: Red Reign!

Pre-Show 94: Blood Gold

At the end of 2016, it seemed as if The Invasion was as good as beaten. The remnants that limped into the new year were forced to seek outside help to correct their course. Under DArqueBishop's direction they rebuilt, and even found championship success. CCShadow & Scott-Howell helped solidify a new era for The Invasion, but on May 26th -- everything changed!

Jason_Voorhees & edge may not have beaten the champions during Friday Night Fights, but by standing with Genku, they ensured his hostile takeover was a success. They were rewarded with a title opportunity at Pre-Show 94: Blood Gold, but the Duo Division Championship would not be taken so easily! As they did on Friday; CCS & Howell proved their dynasty will not be ended by any fly by night coup d'état! The champs maintained a hardline that ensured their gold would not be taken! That didn't mean The Invasion didn't make some ground during the Pre-Show card, though.

The unexpected take down of Grayback during the May 19th edition of FNF left an opening in The Invasion that Genku intended to fill. He pit ousted members Jericho and Zengeance at each other's throats for the chance to earn their way back in. An "honor" earned by Zengeance, who'll be the new partner for Rhyno, who himself spent the night extracting payback against ]{0MBAT in a +4 win!

During this week's Monday Night Games; The_Purple_Bunny put pressure on Mimik to live up to his place on The United team. The Hall of Famer showed there's nothing to worry about, claiming victory against the re-christened Fallen in a hotly contested Survival Sequence match! United rookie zelse got into the act, working hard to eliminate The Red Reign's newest recruit: Red_Spaniard! legoslayer10 quickly turned the teams in favour of The Red Reign, entering into a war with Murdoink that went his way! Reigning KFL Champion Mime lit up the arena with a flying start against legoslayer10 and a speedy elimination of redman! With a 3-2 deficit, Sekktor charged in hard, forcing Mime to work hard to overcome Sekktor. The grinding set Mime up for elimination by LordSkarlet, but the leader of The Red Reign had nothing left. A 5-3 win leaving interim United Captain Artanix completely untouched - a flawless victory!

The blood LordSkarlet spilled at Supercard 92, and the damage he incurred at Supercard 93, is clearly catching up with him! There'll be no rest for the wicked, though. Next weekend at Supercard 94: Red Reign, Artanix will be forced to face his once-Fallen foe inside the confines of the Steel Cage! LordSkarlet knows the nightmare well, but he's fighting on the edge. The cage could be his coffin!

Shinnokxz will go to Supercard 94 hoping to claim gold thanks to his victory in a hard fought three-way contender's match! G0LD started the match promisingly, eliminating recent rival "Mad Dog" Onryo in a competitive duel. Momentum was clearly gained as G0LD fought for the right to face Poasty at next week's Supercard -- but Shinnokxz has been building momentum all month! The win means he'll get his first opportunity to claim the Division 2 Championship!

In a high-profile exhibition bout "The Predator" TonyTheTiger caused an upset with a strong win against DECEPTION! The match escalated into a heated affair as both fighters proved highly competitive! The Hitman may've been slightly distracted by tensions brewing between his New Generation teammates: Baraka_MK and Onryo! The Div.2 title hopes of Onryo have kept him away from BMK since they agreed to train individually after losing at Ultimate Grand Prix VII!

MKMaster once again joined BMK against a common enemy, but he wasn't the only switch-up in the match! Statix replaced a previously announced AlexanderLuthorJr as The_Hurricane's partner! The change resulted in a high-level tandem clash, but it couldn't hold down the mutually beneficial combination of BMK & MKM! Their chemistry as a team is evident, and was very clearly when The New Generation shared a brief moment later in the night, before DECEPTION's match.

Be here throughout the week for more updates as the fast-tracked schedule takes The Great Arena into June and towards Supercard 94: Red Reign! After two months in recovery ElJobber returns to test "The Chosen One" Damo in a hotly anticipated Championship main event! PLUS: New Invasion leader Genku finally catches up with pre-UGP nemesis VenoMark, and The Pacific Connection get another shot at Duo Division gold against CCShadow & Scott-Howell in a rematch of their electrifying clash at Pre-Show 93! All that and much more - Sunday, June 4th!

Sunday Pre-Show Card Announcement

In one night everything changed! After staging a shocking coup during last night's Friday Night Fights: Genku is running The Invasion -- and his first act of business has been negotiating a Duo Division Championship match for Jason_Voorhees & edge in the main event at Pre-Show 94: Blood Gold!

The shock demise of Grayback during the May 19th edition of Friday Night Fights has left The Invasion a man down. At Pre-Show 92 Jericho & Zengeance were kicked out of the group, but at Pre-Show 94, Genku has agreed to watch them fight it out for the right to return! The winner will take Grayback's place as partner to Rhyno, who will also be in action against the fighter he holds responsible for his partner's demise - ]{0MBAT!

Pre-Show 94: Blood Gold will also decide the fate of the Division 2 Championship with a huge triple threat #1 contender's match! "Mad Dog" Onryo will attempt to salvage his chances against arch-rival G0LD and rising prospect Shinnokxz! Former champions NovaStarr and "The Sword of Europe" Chromatose will duke it out in a special exhibition bout. "The Predator" TonyTheTiger and "The Hitman" DECEPTION will also be expected to put on quite a show when they go head-to-head in a high level exhibition bout!

PLUS: The_Hurricane & AlexanderLuthorJr continue their feud with newly forming combination Baraka_MK & MKMaxter. With BMK's New Generation teammates fighting on the same card, will we see Onryo and MKMaster come to blows after their fiery face-off at Supercard 93?!

Friday Night Fights (May 26, 2017)

Friday Night Fights was the scene of an intense stand-off as Genku called out the New Manager for The Invasion in a scene that completely changed the dynamic of the entire league in one night!

Genku emerged shortly after Jason_Voorhees & edge made their entrance for a match. He told everyone to just sit and wait, because "the best thing going" in The Great Arena needed an important meeting. DArqueBishop entered The Great Arena expecting a fight, but the increasingly vocal Genku just wanted to talk.

Genku made it known he'd been thinking about DAB's words of 'get on board or shut up' since completely humiliating him in their match at Supercard 93: The Chosen. Genku said he'd thought it over, and he decided he would get on board with The Invasion once more, because it was obvious DArqueBishop couldn't stop them failing. At that moment, reigning Duo Division Champions CCShadow & Scott-Howell entered The Great Arena!

The Duo Champs questioned Genku's definition of "failure", pointing to the titles they won at The Spring Classic thanks to DArqueBishop's management. Genku explained that "failure" meant the terrible booking decisions that kept handing them easy wins against the nostalgia act of The Pacific Connection. "Failure" would also mean him "joining" The Invasion. At that moment, Genku made it clear he beat DArqueBishop at Supercard 93 and was taking over control of The Invasion! He told the Duo Division Champions they needed to get on board - or shut the hell up!

The Duo champs chose loyalty to their old friend DArqueBishop - prompting Jason_Voorhees & edge to jump to Genku's aid! The six-man face-off exploded into a main event melee! Fists of fury were flying back and forth as the two groups battled with extreme prejudice! With the entire league watching, DArqueBishop and the champs took control of the coup - beating them into submission with a spectacular +7 graded impact!

The trio stomped out of The Great Arena taking the Duo Division Championship belts with them, but Genku was still smiling! As they left the building, Genku repeated the sentiment he expressed during the week and laughed smugly: "Just try and screw with me now! Try and screw me now!"

Fallen Announce Red Reign at Supercard 94

"American Nightmare" LordSkarlet suffered a brutal MAX Damage loss to United: Artanix at Supercard 93: The Chosen, but if anybody thought that was going to end the bad blood between The Fallen and The United -- they thought very wrong!

LordSkarlet is intent on bringing Artanix down for the April 24th demise of hydraslash! If he can't do it the old fashioned way, he's going do it the same way he took Shoe out at The Spring Classic -- in a Steel Cage Fight!

LordSkarlet called his bloody win over Shoe the dawning of a Red Reign that will apparently officially begin Sunday, June 4th at Supercard 94! Before it does, he'll add a new fifth member to The Fallen in order to face The United in a 5-on-5 Survival Sequence!

The Steel Cage Fight has become a nightmare-inducing signature for LordSkarlet, but some attribute his brutal loss to Artanix to the short gap between his last Cage, and Supercard 93! Thanks to the fast tracked schedule, his next entrapment will be just two weeks after suffering MAX Damage -- with a Survival Sequence match in between! A dangerous game, indeed!

Pre-Show 94 (May 28th, 2017):
- The United versus The Fallen [5-on-5 Survival Sequence]

Supercard 94: Red Reign (June 4th, 2017):

- "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet versus United: Artanix [Steel Cage Fight]
- Genku versus VenoMark

Genku Calls Nepotism, Books Match

Just twenty-four hours after officials announced ElJobber will return at Supercard 94 to challenge for the Undisputed Championship: Genku has emerged to cry foul!

The June 4th event hasn't yet been given a sub-title, but according to Genku it should be called "Supercard 94: Nepotism"! He explained that everybody knows ElJobber is Mick's boy, and that this is just another example e of the terrible booking decisions that continue to screw him out of the title, and produce "failing" Supercards.

Genku pointed to his win over DArqueBishop at Supercard 93: The Chosen as obvious proof he should be challenging for the Undisputed title, and that he's obviously the best thing going.

He blamed officials for pushing him to join The Invasion, who he "never was a real part of to begin with". He claimed he "never wanted to be a part of it", but had no choice because of the terrible decision to book the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in the weeks leading up to his title shot at All-Star Summer Showdown. Another loss he can thank bad, failing booking for.

After his rambling tirade, Genku said if he wasn't getting the title match he deserves at Supercard 94, then he'll finally finish things with failed champion VenoMark!

VenoMark beat Genku for the Undisputed Championship in a Six-Fighter Eliminator at Pre-Show 90: Venomous Creatures. The win was controversial for VenoMark's vicious attack immediately after Genku won the title at Supercard 89: Breaking Point. A historic first ever Undisputed Champiosnhip match on Friday Night Fights denied Genku the chance to main event Ultimate Grand Prix VII as champ. Supercard 94 will mark a long awaited, emotionally charged showdown between the pair!

On top of his challenge, Genku added that he knows how VenoMark likes to roll. He warned he'll be at Friday Night Fights this week, but VenoMark and League Officials better think twice if they have any ideas about screwing him. Ominous words from the highly controversial fighter.

Supercard 94 (June 4th, 2017):
- ElJobber versus "The Chosen One" Damo (c) [Undisputed Championship]
- Genku versus VenoMark
- "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile versus United: The_Purple_Bunny

Supercard 94 Title Challenger Announced

At Supercard 93: The Chosen; Damo proved his Undisputed Championship win was no fluke -- and that he really might be "The Chosen One"! Now a fast-tracked arena schedule will provide the ultimate test as officials announce ElJobber to return next Sunday at Supercard 94!

ElJobber hasn't been seen since Ultimate Grand Prix VII, where he successfully endured a grueling Iron Man Death Match! When he returns at Supercard 94, it will have been two whole months since that last thrilling appearance. Some may say it's too soon to bring a fighter back from such a brutal encounter, but officials have been excited to hand-pick ElJobber for the return challenge!

ElJobber briefly held the Undisputed Championship at the start of the year, winning the title at Supercard 88: Battle Royale after claiming back-to-back victories in the year-end 2016 Master's Series, and 2017 Grand Slam Launch. He defeated Damo in the final of the Grand Slam tournament.

That isn't the only history between the challenger and "The Chosen One"! Way back in 2013, ElJobber was the fighter who ended Damo's first reign as Undisputed Champion at Supercard 33: The Long Hard Road! Will history repeat itself? Find out Sunday, June 4th at Supercard 94!

Supercard 94 (June 4th, 2017):
- ElJobber versus "The Chosen One" Damo (c) [Undisputed Championship]
- "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile versus United: The_Purple_Bunny

Monday Night Games (May 22, 2017)

Twenty-four hours after Supercard 93: The Chosen, the Monday Night Games brought a contentious edition filled with fiery feuds, and an opportunistic title challenge in the night's main event!

"The Sword of Europe" Chromatose stunned with his upset victory over The_Purple_Bunny during last week's Games. Riding his win against a Great Arena legend, and his 2017 Fighter For Europe crown, Chromatose challenged Mime to put the KFL Championship on the line! Mime successfully defended the gold against a returning "Queen Bee" Pink_Ranger at Supercard 93, and had no trouble obliging The Sword with a comprehensive defense! Shades of his Pre-Show 93 misfire for Europe's best fighter.

Supercard 93 saw Artanix absolutely decimate LordSkarlet in a super-charged clash of United and Fallen serving Captains. In LordSkarlet's absence; Sekktor continued his bitter campaign against Artanix, this week taking the fight to the tandem stakes. zelse was the available partner for Artanix, and although he participated in a Trios loss led by Sekktor at the Supercard, zelse was able to aid Artanix to a solid victory! No such reversal of fortune for Murdoink. He succumbed to a challenge from The Fallen's redman in a hard fought contest.

The_Purple_Bunny wasn't as forgiving for The United's trios loss as Artanix. He and Mimik were found at each other's throats during the night, with TPB blasting the Hall of Famer for failing to beat The Fallen and carry his weight! Mimik fired back, pointing to the April 10th and May 15th editions of MNG, where TPB lost matches to CaTigeReptile and Chromatose. TPB defiantly told Mimik he better lead the team to a victory at Pre-Show 94, alluding to a team rematch. Mimik again returned fire, telling TPB he better not drop the ball to CTR again at Supercard 94.

Baraka_MK didn't drop the ball when AlexanderLuthorJr came looking for another fight. He was noticeably without the support of The_Hurricane this time, allowing BMK to score a solo win.. The team of "Brexiteers" Liam & nif were also able to flip the script on European Union Nephrite & Zentile, evening the score for their loss last week.

Monday Night Games: Week 17 (May 22, 2017):
7. United: Mime (c) d. "The Sword of Europe" Chromatose [+1] [KFL Championship]

Weekly Rankings Recap - 5/21/2017

A heckuva show this weekend at Supercard 93: The Chosen! VenoMark/Damo II had a big fight feel that didn't disappoint. I really enjoyed the story of the rematch, and the belief that either man could win. I personally went in believing VenoMark would reclaim gold. Ironic given all the talk about under estimating Damo. It seems he really could be "The Chose One" after all!

I wasn't sure about the Duo Division Champions taking the Supercard off, but it worked a treat. It meant the best of both worlds: Pre-Show 93 got a white hot title main event, and Supercard 93 got an excellent grudge match that leaves me with no doubt about The Pacific Connection and a third title bout! All of their matches with "The Invasion" CCShadow & Scott-Howell have been incredibly compelling. The champs keep escaping by the skin of their teeth! I'll be excited to see if they can keep it up!

With Jason_Voorhees & edge, those three Duos have really heated up the Division. I can see some teams coming on the horizon. Pairs like Jammer2Omega & Porygonix and perhaps "Brexiteers" Liam & nif look to be developing nicely. For now, I'm enjoying the focus on three competitive teams without the omnipresence of an all-conquering pair. Very refreshing.

I'm wondering if "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet jumped back into the arena too quickly after his Spring Classic Steel Cage match. It was great to see Artanix in a fight with a real fire. Stepping in as Interim Captain of The United feels like it could be an interesting change for Artanix. His MAX Damage win has me revisiting Artanix' individual title prospects. If Mime wasn't so dominant as KFL Champion, I might've viewed that as a great testing ground for Artanix. He could become a quality satellite contender for the top gold, though.

Good to see Poasty locked up another solid defense of the title. I thought Jerrod might provide a bigger obstacle, but no such trouble. This reign is shaping up to be Poasty's foundation stone. I'm really excited to see how far he can go. We won't have long to wait!

June 4th will see an accelerated schedule that brings Supercard 94 upon us quicker than usual! That means next weekend (May 28th) will be Pre-Show 94! I'm sure we can expect plenty of fallout from this week's match to inform the fasttrack build. Looking forward to it.

Supercard 93: The Chosen

Since early 2016. Damo has been calling himself "The Chosen One". It was a belief built on a lie, but at the 2017 Spring Classic Damo shocked the world by winning the Undisputed Championship! It was the culmination of a humble run of victories that former champion VenoMark failed to respect. No one was more shocked by Damo's win than VenoMark himself. He fully acknowledged that he took Damo lightly, but at Supercard 93: The Chosen he would just take back the title! May 21st, 2017, live in The Great Arena it's VenoMark/Damo II -- one of the most hotly anticipated rematches in years!

12. "The Chosen One" Damo (c) defeated VenoMark in convincing fashion! [+2] [Undisputed Championship]
Damo shocked the world with his Undisputed Championship win at the 2017 Spring Classic. Nobody was more surprised than VenoMark, who reached a career pinnacle that same month, defending the title in the main event of Ultimate Grand Prix VII! Supercard 93 was supposed to be a different story. By his own admission, VenoMark took his long standing rival lightly - but this time he vowed just to take the title! The highly anticipated rematch was to be a contest of preparation versus Damo's self-professed status as "The Chosen One"! The atmosphere was electric as the two nemeses faced off! It looked like it might be closed in the early going, but Damo's self-belief has clearly been built on a long simmering development of his fighting techniques. 2017 has been good to the UGP Battle Royal winner. It was even better at Supercard 93: The Chosen! In front of a stunned audience, Damo took control of the match, earning a convincing victory! With the Undisputed Championship raised above his head once more, he told the world what he already knew: He is The Chosen One!

11. United: The_Purple_Bunny defeated "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile in a desperate collision! [+15]
The_Purple_Bunny may have become part of The United team in 2017, but his ultimate goal is the individual glory of winning his 7th Undisputed Championship in 2017! As Battle Royale winner, he came close to the record setting achievement at Ultimate Grand Prix VII, but glory eluded him. When "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile claimed an upset victory during the first edition of VS United, TPB's dream seemed to slip even further away! With CTR reeling from her Spring Classic loss, TPB took the opportunity to pounce! The resulting match was a soul destroying clash of contenders fighting on the absolute edge! With neither combatant willing to relent, they fought to the brink of absolute exhaustion! Like prize fighters in the final round, they charged each rare blow with their final reserves. In the end, The_Purple_Bunny managed to connect with a finishing blow! A match that could've destroyed either competitor, but granted TPB a +15 impact on win! A result he was in no shape to celebrate, needing help just to leave arena!

10. "The Pacific Connection" Oozaru & Banging defeated "The Invasion" Jason_Voorhees & edge in a confident victory. [+1]
The Pacific Connection have been on fire since reuniting at Ultimate Grand Prix VII! They tore through the Duo Division ranks, establishing a white hot feud with reigning Champions "The Invasion" CCShadow & Scott-Howell! After a scintillating main event defense at Pre-Show 93, the champs had the night off, leaving Oozaru & Banging to answer the challenge of their other Invasion rivals: Jason_Voorhees & edge! The Invasion were out to lock down the Duo titles - and score some payback for their derailing loss at The Spring Classic! Jason & edge may have conquered the Duo Top 10, but they couldn't suppress the dynamic Pacific Connection! The confident victory should almost certainly keep them in the title picture. After two highly competitive bouts, could the third time be the charm for The Pacific Connection? Watch this space!

9. United: Artanix defeated "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet in a total annihilation! [+MAX]
The American Nightmare LordSkarlet declared his Spring Classic Steel Cage win over United: Shoe the beginning of a Red Reign. His return at Supercard 93 was meant to continue the coronation, while avenging the fatal defeat of hydraslash during the April 24th edition of VS United. Artanix was the fighter responsible for The Fallen fighter's accidental decimation, but at Supercard 93, The United interim Captain was deliberate in his annihilation of LordSkarlet! Artanix showed absolutely no mercy as he swept the match with devastating efficiency! LordSkarlet was clearly still feeling the effects of the Steel Cage, and Artanix was all too happy to press every vulnerable injury in honor of Shoe. The fight eventuating in a ruthless MAX Damage win for The United! A sobering result for The Fallen after their surprise team victory, earlier in the night!

8. United: Mime (c) defeated Pink_Ranger in convincing fashion! [+2] [KFL Championship]
At The Spring Classic, Pink_Ranger returned to triumphantly prove she is still the undisputed Queen Bee of The Great Arena! The solid win against former KFL Women's Champion, CaTigeReptile, set Pink_Ranger up for a challenge against reigning KFL Champion: Mime! The surprise contest put Mime briefly on the back foot, but the feeling out process helped the champ find control over the match. PR presented another fair challenge, but Mime is fast emerging as a stabilizing force for the KFL gold!

7. Genku defeated DArqueBishop in convincing fashion! [+1]
Since losing at UGP7, Genku has dissed everyone from The Pacific Connection, to league official Mick. Even his former teammates The Invasion have been ripe for unprovoked criticism, leading New Manager DArqueBishop to say enough is enough! The Invasion Bishop told Genku to get on board or shut the hell up -- igniting the match in a flurry of fists and fire! DArqueBishop kept on top of Genku throughout the fight, but the controversial combatant would not back down! Genku took control of the match, working hard to secure a convincing win.

6. Poasty (c) defeated Jerrod in a comprehensive victory! [+5] [Division 2 Championship]
A solid #1 contender's win at Pre-Show 93: Reconnecting... earned Jerrod a return shot at the Div.2 Championship. He fell short in his shot at Ultimate Grand Prix VII, challenging during a brief reign held by MKMaster. With the title back around Poasty's waist as of The Spring Classic, the weight of expectation was on his next big defense. He past the test of the 2017 Fighter For Europe at Pre-Show 93, and kept on his winning ways with a comprehensive victory over Jerrod! Poasty's third reign as Division 2 Champion is expected to be a legacy building exercise - well on its way in May!

5. Jammer2Omega & Porygonix defeated Mark & Leroy in a solid win. [+1]
Mark & Leroy have established themselves as one of the brightest up-and-coming prospects of the Duo Division this year. Their victory over Baraka_MK & Onryo at Ultimate Grand Prix VII totally changed the dynamic of the division! Their win at The Spring Classic arguably supplanted defeated Jammer2Omega & Porygonix as the next hot prospect -- but J2O & Pory weren't about to walk away from a fight! Throwing themselves into an intriguing rematch, Jammer2Omega & Porygonix reminded everybody they're in it for the long haul! A solid victory giving Mark & Leroy more to consider as they fight their way to the top of the Duo ranks!

4. AlbertBeefcake did not appear for his match against DaemonX.
Evidence in The Case of The Italian Bishop has been mounting against DaemonX since the start. The Spring Classic revelation that DX handed Invasion Manager DArqueBishop his chess piece quickly connected him to a grander conspiracy through events from the past! It was surprising, then, that DaemonX showed up to answer AlbertBeefcake's challenge at Supercard 93, but The Beefer was nowhere to be seen! After a fruitless wait, DaemonX left the arena with many questions remaining.

3. MKMaster defeated "Mad Dog" Onryo [+1]
The New Generation may have collaborated at Pre-Show 92 and The Spring Classic to help deal with Baraka_MK's new enemies -- but "Mad Dog" Onryo has remained committed to their post-UGP split, finding himself in the hunt for the Div. 2 Championship! MKMaster lost the title last month, making him the perfect opponent to sure up Onryo's singles title prospects! He pitched a good game, taking a hard fight right up to the former champ. MKMaster had to dig deep, searching for an answer to Onryo's aggressive fighting style. The Mad Dog didn't back down after the verdict, raising the question of whether there's more to this story that title contention! MKM found chemistry teaming with Baraka_MK at Pre-Show 93. An intriguing situation appears to be developing.

2. "The Fallen" Sekktor, redman & legoslayer10 defeated "The United" Mimik, Murdoink & zelse in a convincing win! [+1]
It's almost been a month since hydraslash suffered a brutal defeat playing VS United, but The Fallen haven't forgotten their injured comrade. Sekktor has been particularly zealous in his weekly pursuit of the man directly responsible - Artanix. At Supercard 93, Sekktor led a trio of Fallen fighters against an eclectic mix of The United. Hall of Famer Mimik captained the team of extremes that included rookie recruit zelse! A combination of inexperience and The Fallen's motivated aggression led to a surprisingly convincing victory for members of The Fallen. All part of the promise of a Red Reign by team leader LordSkarlet, who would return to handle Artanix later in the night.

1. "Brexiteers" Liam & nif defeated Politics & Menas in a close fought match! [+1]
At UGP7, Politics & Menas were a third wheel who came out on top against Semi Finalists from the 2017 Grand Prix Warm-Up. They followed up their major win at the Spring Classic, fending off McDaniel & fraysol in a two-on-two rematch. With "Brexiteers" Liam & nif finding a stream of success over the last month, destiny conspired to give the other part of the UGP three-way a shot at evening the score. Liam went solo to be Runner-Up in the 2017 Fighter For Europe tournament, but there was no lack of cohesion between The Brexiteers. The success continued to follow with a well earned victory!

Friday Night Fights (May 19, 2017)

The fighters were letting it all hang out on Friday Night Fights even with just two days remaining before Supercard 93: The Chosen! It was a night full of hard hitting matches and high-drama!

The main event saw Genku accept the challenge of Pacific Connection Hall of Famer Oozaru! Genku had managed to squeeze through a triple-threat encounter with Banging and Scott-Howell last week, but could he survive the onslaught of a former ICWW International Champion? The answer was a surprisingly dominant: yes! He sent the big Aussie packing with a hard hitting +7 impact! An ominous message to DArqueBishop, who will execute his own challenge against Genku during this weekend's Supercard 93!

Oozaru's partner Banging and one-half of The Invasion's Duo Division Champions, Scott-Howell, completed their one-on-one match that was interrupted by the intrusion of Genku. The competitive clash ended in a good win for Scott-Howell! The Pacific Connection remain in the hunt for the Duo Division Championship, but there may be more work to be done before they get their next shot.

After last week's failed two-on-one assault from "The Invasion" WilliamRegal & TripleH; AlbertBeefcake returned to Friday Night Fights with back-up in the form of his investigative partner Statix. They effortlessly sent Albo's old nemesis packing, confirming in the process their status as pawns in The Case of The Italian Bishop. After the Spring Classic revelation that DArqueBishop received his bishop chess piece from DaemonX, Albert will go straight after the suspected Black King at this weekend's Supercard 93!

If The Invasion thought they had trouble with AlbertBeefcake & Statix - they never saw ]{0MBAT & tbamok99s_wife coming! An elementary Duo Division clash to open the night's action ended in a shock fatality when Grayback was brutally taken out in a +16 massacre!

The Division 2 contender's stakes also continued to heat-up! G0LD reversed his fortunes in a rematch with emerging favourite Shinnokxz! "Mad Dog" Onryo also kept his championship hopes on track with a big win against nightbreed_16! The Division 2 Championship will be on the line this weekend when Poasty defends the gold against Jerrod in an all-Canadian contest!

Be here Sunday, May 21st to find out all the winners and losers from Supercard 93: The Chosen! The main event will see newly crowned Undisputed Champion "Chosen One" Damo face the test of a highly motivated VenoMark! VM says he took Damo lightly at The Spring Classic - this weekend he'll just take his title! PLUS: Queen Bee Pink_Ranger returns to challenge United: Mime for the KFL Championship -- and much more! FNF: Hall of Famer Challenges Genku

Is the enemy of my enemy my friend - or my enemy?

If you're Genku the answer is enemies all around!

His recent comments have created enough tension with former teammates The Invasion to drop him in the middle of a three-way with Scott-Howell last week, and push New Manager DArqueBishop to issue a challenge for this weekend's Supercard 93: The Chosen!

Just because The Invasion have stepped up their attack doesn't mean the other half of that three-way - The Pacific Connection - are any less pissed off. In fact, this week's Friday Night Fights will put Genku in another bad situation when he faces the other half of the classic Pacific Connection - and a Hall of Famer: Oozaru!

FNF will also see Banging follow through on the match Genku interrupted, challenging Invasion Duo Division Champion and arch-rival Scott-Howell in a one-on-one encounter!

A huge night for the final Friday Night Fights before Supercard 93: The Chosen! Don't miss it!

Fallen/United Feud Continues

Captains of The Fallen and United teams haven't been seen in the arena since they went to war in a brutal Steel Cage Fight at The Spring Classic. Tensions between the factions have escalated to an all-time high in the wake of the surprise decimation of hydraslash during the April 24th edition of VS United! The United have managed to fend off The Fallen during Monday Night Games, but the American Nightmare is about to begin again!

LordSkarlet will make his return at Supercard 93: The Chosen to take on interim United leader and the man responsible for taking out hydraslash: Artanix!

The bitter grudge match will be just one of two big clashes between the groups - this Sunday! The teams will continue their war in a contest of trios when Sekktor, redman & legoslayer10 take on the triple threat of Mimik, Murdoink & zelse!

Two big grudge matches for what's shaping up to be a massive May 21st card! The main event will headline with an Undisputed Championship match that sees Damo defend his newfound gold against a former champion who vows to take his opponent seriously this time: VenoMark! All this and much more! Be here Sunday for all the action!

Supercard 93: The Chosen (May 21st, 2017):

Invasion Pushes Back Against Genku

Genku may have rightfully won last November's Invasion Contender Election - but he probably won't be winning any popularity contests in 2017!

Since UGP7; Genku has fired off tirades directed at everyone from League officials, Mick in particular, The Pacific Connection, and most recently The Invasion who once supported him!

Genku never explicitly quit the group, which seemingly dissolved under his leadership at the end of 2016, but has thrown plenty of shade towards it's newest incarnation. It was enough to place him in the middle of a three-way encounter with Scott-Howell and Banging during last week's Friday Night Fights. It's been enough to draw the ire of new Invasion manager: DArqueBishop!

The Invasion helped put Genku where he is right now and DArqueBishop knows it. He's heard enough of Genku's self-aggrandizing tirades and plans to show him what the new Invasion is all about when they meet face-to-face at Supercard 93: The Chosen!

It may not be the match the title-obsessed Genku wants to fight, but it's a challenge he'll have to answer! Another bitter grudge match added to the May 21st card that will be headlined by a highly anticipated rematch between VenoMark and new Undisputed Champion "The Chosen One" Damo!

Supercard 93: The Chosen (May 21st, 2017):
- VenoMark versus "The Chosen One" Damo (c) [Undisputed Championship]
- Pink_Ranger versus United: Mime (c) [KFL Championship]
- United: The_Purple_Bunny versus "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile
- AlbertBeefcake versus DaemonX
- Jerrod versus Poasty (c) [Division 2 Championship]
- DArqueBishop versus Genku

Monday Night Games (May 15, 2017)

It was a dramatic night as the Monday Night Games played host to the second unexpected casualty in the span of a month! It was also the scene of fallout from the 2017 Fighter For Europe event week, which made unlikely allies of some -- and an even unlikelier main event winner!

Three weeks ago the fun and games turned serious when hydraslash went down during an edition of VS United. This time it was GreenLantern, who took his dislike of Baraka_MK too far to his own detriment, resulting in a fatal encounter! It was the reprisal of BMK's Pre-Show 93 team-up with MKMaster that produced the shocking result. AlexanderLuthorJr couldn't help his super-ally in the fairly unremarkable loss. Evidence that GreenLantern has clearly been fighting on the edge!

Sekktor and The Fallen continued to pursue their grudge against Artanix and The United for their fallen comrade: hydraslash. In a repeat of their May 1st main event, Sekktor tried to grind Artanix down with a surprisingly close fought match! Artanix was able to eke out a victory, but Sekktor's aggression continues to befuddle the experienced serving Captain! No such struggle for Murdoink. He fairly effortlessly fended off The Fallen's legoslayer10 in a solid victory.

In the night's main event: 2017 Fighter For Europe Chromatose issued a challenge to The United's 6-time Undisputed Champion: The_Purple_Bunny. TPB was drawn to face Chromatose during last week's VS United challenge with Team Europe. He utterly destroyed Chromatose, but "The Sword of Europe" still managed to go on to win the annual event. He fell short at Pre-Show 93 fighting for the Division 2 Championship, but his years of combat finally paid off as he executed a stunning upset victory against TPB!

It's not the first time The_Purple_Bunny has been unexpectedly beaten during the Monday Night Games! He suffered a shock loss last month during the inaugural VS United! This Sunday at Supercard 93: The Chosen, TPB will attempt to settle the score when he takes on "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile in a match meant to get his goals of a 7th Undisputed Championship in 2017 back on track! Stay tuned throughout the week for news and updates concerning the card!

Monday Night Games: Week 16 (May 15, 2017):
8. Chromatose d. United: The_Purple_Bunny [+2]
7. United: Artanix d. Sekktor [+1]
6. Baraka_MK & MKMaster d. GreenLantern & AlexanderLuthorJr [+2] [-1up]
5. United: Murdoink d. legoslayer10 [+3]
4. United: zelse d. Cukier [+1]
3. VR-FIST d. Red_Spaniard [+1]

Weekly Rankings Recap - 5/14/2017

Another great Duo Division Championship main event at Pre-Show 93: Reconnecting...!

I've always loved the idea of seeing the tandem titles main event a Supercard, but the circumstances just never seem to be right. Nothing will be bigger this weekend than VenoMark/Damo II, but Pre-Show 93 was proof positive that it could happen with the right teams involved.

"The Invasion" CCShadow & Scott-Howell are really impressing me with their ability to adjust to and stay ahead of high-level challenges. I've expected The Pacific Connection to overwhelm them in both of their matches this month, but they've made me a believer. I don't think we've seen the last of Oozaru & Banging in the title picture, but it's starting to feel like CCShadow & Howell could be the latest benchmark team.

The 2017 Fighter For Europe tournament had its appeal this weekend, despite a depleted line-up. The added presence of greater British representation gave this year's event an interesting focal point, and a source of tension. It was a surprise to see "Brexiteer" Liam reach the final. A little less shocking that Chromatose claimed his third Fighter For Europe crown, appearing in his fifth consecutive final.

There are arguments to be made about Chromatose's dominance of the European event, but when its all said and done, I always appreciate the thrill of wondering who might rise to the challenge. Dez-Burnett nearly took Chromatose out early. Zentile was a wildcard, fighting on the edge. It's never easy to predict how well Nephrite will perform now that his conditioning is less regular.

The Division 2 Championship title shot Fighter For Europe winners receive may need to be looked at. I wasn't disappointed to see Poasty secure a confident win at Pre-Show 93, though. This is the one that needs to stick. I'd like to see Poasty rack up defenses into the Summer to really establish a good run. Jerrod won't make it easy. That match and plenty more coming this Sunday at Supercard 93: The Chosen. It should be a great event! Stay tuned for more updates throughout the week.

Pre-Show 93: Reconnecting...

Pre-Show 93: Reconnecting... touched live wires together for a hugely anticipated night of action inside The Great Arena! The annual tradition of the Fighter For Europe tournament meant it was a weekend double bill, but there was more than the Division 2 Championship to look forward to!

The reunion of the Pacific Connection at Ultimate Grand Prix VII set Oozaru & Banging on a path of total domination throughout April and May! Their rapid rise made obvious contenders at the 2017 Spring Classic, which gave the May 5th edition of Friday Night Fights a Duo Division Championship match for the ages! "The Invasion" CCShadow & Scott-Howell emerged victorious, but the close fought match demanded a second viewing!

The Connection's high octane approach turned the main event of Pre-Show 93 into another UGP-esque superfight! CCS & Howell had to rely on pure instinct to react to the challengers pushing them into an even higher gear! Like the FNF showdown, it was a balls to the wall collision at the highest possible standard! Also like FNF: The Invasion emerged victorious by the skin of their teeth! It was another unbelievably competitive title match! A great win for CCShadow & Scott-Howell, who once again escape to remain Duo Division Champions!

2017 Fighter For Europe Chromatose hoped the fire of the annual tournament made him a better honed weapon for a second day of battle. Tradition demanded that his fifth fight of the weekend be for the Division 2 Championship! The title was recently reclaimed by franchise player Poasty, whose one-two combo of UGP7 & Spring Classic wins have put a lot of expectation on his third reign! The pressure was on! Chromatose seemingly posed a serious threat in Poasty's first defense, but ironically it was the "Sword of Europe" who buckled! Poasty took full advantage of the experience he's accrued in the last six months, turning in a convincing +3 impact defense! He'll next defend the title against Jerrod, who picked up a well earned #1 Contender's match win against rising challenger Shinnokxz!

Fallout from the Fighter For Europe tournament also turned Nephrite & Zentile into an unlikely duo against "Brexiteers" Liam & nif! Both fighters were defeated by Liam on his path to the European Final, with Nephrite responsible for nif's elimination in the First Round. The impromptu European Union revisited old tensions with The Brexiteers, but couldn't convert a victory.

A very different story unfolded for Baraka_MK & MKMaster, who paired up to face common foes The_Hurricane & GreenLantern! BMK has had issues with the super-hero opponents since April, but MKM met Hurricane on May 1st, when The_Hurricane hoped to become a contender by beating the former Division 2 Champion! BMK & MKM combined well, defeating their common foes.

"The Guardian" CaTigeReptile picked up a +3 impact in her grudge match win against old rival: NovaStarr. The Battle Royal loss she suffered at Pre-Show 92: Revolution & Retribution begat a disappointing defeat at The Spring Classic, but this time the women of the league wouldn't be there to unanimously turn on their one-time Guardian! Indeed, CTR bounced back with confidence in the one-on-one grudge match. It was a comprehensive win that reflected the freeing nature of being able to fight for herself -- a battle that isn't yet over!

United: The_Purple_Bunny will challenge "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile at Supercard 93: The Chosen in a grudge match to avenge a shock loss: next Sunday - May 21st! The same event will be headlined by VenoMark/Damo II in a hotly anticipated rematch for the Undisputed Championship! PLUS: Recently returned "Queen Bee" Pink_Ranger takes on United: Mime for the KFL title!

Tournament 80: 2017 Fighter For Europe

The 2017 Fighter For Europe tournament was a different animal twelve months on from last year's gathering! Casualties of combat meant fighters from Great Britain were granted more representation through four fighters, including controversial duo: "Brexiteers" Liam & nif. The field was as eager to eliminate them, as they were the ever-dangerous #1 & #2 seeds: Nephrite and Chromatose!

Fears for a British takeover appeared founded in the First Round when Dez-Burnett inflicted a +4 impact to eliminate Cukier, while Liam and Leroy advanced with solid wins. Defending 2016 Champion and #1 seed Nephrite succeeded in at least taking out nif in an elementary opening fight.

Liam avenged the exit of his Brexiteer partner in the harshest possible way, executing a completely unexpected MAX Damage impact against Nephrite! #2 seed Chromatose immediately replaced his rival as favourite to win, surviving a close fought match with Dez-Burnett! Liam was the lone British hope to graduate the Second Round, with Leroy falling to a Portuguese Pegasus fighting from the edge! One-man Greek Revolution maxilos was also a surprise elimination!

The Semi Finals made it clear Liam was fast becoming the fighter to be concerned with! Zentile had exhausted his powers with an earlier +6 impact in the First Round, succumbing to a close fought win against the Brexiteer. #2 seed Chromatose made a more convincing case when he edged out Sgtf in a rematch of their hard hitting 2016 Semi Final!

For the first time since the inaugural Fighter For Europe tournament: A Briton would fight for the prestigious honor of being European champion. A bitter irony given Liam's status as a Brexiteer, and the wars he fought against The European Union in 2016! Chromatose would be the continent's sword against such an insult to their honor, honed in Hungarian wins over the 2014 & 2015 European tours.

In fact, it was the #2 seeds' fifth consecutive year appearing in the final fight! The only European fighter to defeat him in past contests was Nephrite! This fact remained true as Chromatose gathered himself for a frontal assault against Brexiteer Liam! He was unrelenting in his attack, leaving nothing to doubt in a solid victory that claimed 2p from the upstart Briton!

As per tradition, Chromatose will now challenge the Division 2 Champion during tomorrow's Pre-Show 93: Reconnecting...! Awaiting the chosen Fighter For Europe will be Canadian Spring Classic winner Poasty, whose return to the title has created expectations for a major reign! Will the three-time Fighter for Europe add Championship gold to his prestigious tournament crown? Be here tomorrow - Sunday, May 14th for all the results from Pre-Show 93!
