Monday Night Games: VS United (July 31, 2017)

For the first time ever The United were perceived as would-be underdogs as Shoe returned to rally the troops for a special VS United edition of Monday Night Games!

Competing for The Invasion would be: Loopster, Jauger, TripleH, WilliamRegal & MattHardy! They are individually known as pawns of the mysterious Black King who controls The Invasion, but since July 10th they've been invaders capitalizing on The United's relative absence! The United took control of Mondays from a previous incarnation of The Invasion, but have recently been fractured by injury, in-fighting, and personal pursuits.

True to his word, Shoe rallied The United to be represented by: Shoe, Mimik, Murdoink, zelse & reigning KFL Champion Mime! Together they account for: 4x Undisputed Championships, 6x Duo Division Championships, 6x KFL Championships, and 3x Division 2 Championships! Supreme skill!

1. MattHardy defeated United: zelse in a narrow victory. [+1]
The first challenger for The Invasion was MattHardy, whose attempt to capitalize on the relative inexperience of zelse nearly backfired! The United's rookie protégé fought with tenacity, but the greater experience of MattHardy finally paid off. A rare win getting The Invasion off to a strong start with 3 points!

2. United: Murdoink defeated WilliamRegal in a competitive match. [+1]
WilliamRegal has become synonymous with the Duo Division in more recent times, but he was flying solo to cause trouble for Murdoink in the second fight. For a moment it looked as if The Invasion would pick up a second win, but Murdoink was able to grind out of a competitive contest with a well earned win. The equalizer making it 3 points a piece for both teams!

3. United: Mime (c) defeated TripleH in convincing fashion. [+3]
Since winning the KFL Championship at Ultimate Grand Prix VII; Mime has been slightly distracted establishing a dominant title reign. He's defended the belt for bonus points in past VS United bouts, but this time it was to be a non-title attack from TripleH. With both teams tied, Mime still made sure he earned valuable points for his team: a +3 impact giving The United a 5 point lead!

4. United: Mimik defeated Jauger in a comprehensive result! [+8]
The pressure was on as Jauger stepped into the arena to take on one of The United's heaviest hitters: Hall of Famer Mimik! Mimik's tepid performance against Team Europe once earned him Most Not Good United, and started some of the tension with The_Purple_Bunny that took him away from the team. Jauger saw potential to exploit that vulnerability, but was utterly denied in a punishing +8 result that left nothing to chance! Mimik's 10 point performance put his team definitively in front, with just the final battle of Captains to go!

5. United: Shoe defeated Loopster in a solid win. [+1]
Loopster was responsible for beginning The Invasion's recent return attack on Monday Nights. He scouted the event on July 10th, noting The United's relative absence as a greenlight to test the waters for a fresh incursion. Shoe went on indefinite sabbatical in May, but returned triumphantly last week to rally the troops! He beat Loopster last week in a close fought match, but was unwavering in his attack on the rematch! A decisive nail in the coffin for The Invasion!

Monday Night Games: Week 26 - VS United (July 31, 2017):
- The United [26 points] d. The Invasion [3 points]
- Most Not Good United: zelse

True to his word: Shoe rallied the troops to remind the marauding forces that The United are still the strongest force in The Great Arena, and in total control of the Monday Night Games! A strong 26 points to 3 points sealing the deal for the home team! With mostly strong performances from most of the team, the rookie zelse sadly earned his first Not Good United for the team's only loss! Though, with contentious teammate The_Purple_Bunny conspicuous by his absence, Mimik may've felt he should've accepted the award.

The United succeeded in defeating The Invasion, but their work isn't done just yet! The Invasion owe their histories to the ring of ICWW: predecessor to The Great Arena celebrating its 15th Anniversary in August! In anticipation of the August 10th Dead Or Alive X anniversary special, The United will return next week to compete against a team of ICWW All-Stars in another round of VS United! It goes down next Monday, August 7th - and with some of the greatest fighters in ICWW history invited, they'll need to be at their very best if they want to maintain their undefeated record!

Weekly Rankings Recap - 7/30/2017

A triumphant return for Shoe this week! I dare say The United could definitely use a centering influence right now, and that's what he's back to provide! I get a real kick out of the VS United format. It'd be a real shocker for The Invasion pawns to be the first group to beat them, but the preview paints a pretty compelling picture for a possible upset!

Speaking of upsets, I really admire the tenacity Poasty is showing with his challenge for next month's All-Star Summer Showdown. Every feeling in my bones tells me it's just too early for Poasty to be going for the big prize, but I am 100% buying in to the story of the rematch. The simple fact is: Poasty has beaten Damo before, and there's no reason he can't do it again. The way he handled Genku during this week's Friday Night Fights certainly showed that! The Champion of Champions versus The Chosen One. That's a marquee I can't wait to see!

Genku is really skidding all over the map. Some of his recent bad luck is obviously self-inflicted, but I've been very surprised to see him losing where it counts: in matches. I thought he was a little hard done by missing out on Royal Roulette, but those twists of the screw are where drama comes from. I don't think he'll get a lot of love trying to call out Mick for a fight, but after the way things have been going, the challenge was inevitable. Dead Or Alive X would be the place to do it, with most of Mick's matches coming from ICWW. No word from The Chairman yet. I suppose stranger things have happened.

I noticed some impressive wins this Friday for Benjamin, J-Spit, and Miller. I think it's worth keeping an eye on those guys. I was also interested to see Killswitch & jack4813 team-up to take on rxvt & deadly. rxvt's return at Pre-Show 96 didn't get a lot of fanfare, but that's a valuable team to have together again. Even if it meant more problems for Killswitch over the past few weeks.

Don't miss VS United later today as we say goodbye to July, and hello to a big month of action in The Great Arena! August is when the Summer Season really kicks into gear! August 10 for the 15th Anniversary ICWW special Dead Or Alive X, August 20th for All-Star Summer Showdown, and then the wrap-up with the 2017 Summer Grand Slam. It's gonna be huge!

The Invasion Play VS United - Tomorrow

Shoe returned from sabbatical during this week's Monday Night Games with a promise to bring The United back together! The Red Reign have had to take up the slack against an incursion on Monday Nights, while The United fractured under in-fighting and individual accomplishments.

Shoe promised to rally the troops against The Invasion, announcing a special presentation of VS United for the July 31st edition of the Monday Night Games!

VS United invites a team of five to take the test of the most successful faction in Great Arena history: The United! Their undefeated streak has made the format a compelling challenge, but who will Shoe be able to call upon with the stakes higher than ever?!

Interim Captain Artanix was put out of action after competing in a vicious Steel Cage Fight at Supercard 94: Red Reign. Around that same time: a competitive rivalry between The_Purple_Bunny and Mimik began to cause a significant rift. Their rivalry even escalated to matches at Pre-Show 95 and Pre-Show 96, where they traded victories. During all this, Mime's focus drifted to individual defenses of the KFL Championship, while Murdoink was caught up with minor rivalries.

Will Shoe bring the band back together? Or could the first defeat recorded in VS United be a result of a forfeit? Be here tomorrow - Monday, July 31st for all the answers!

Poasty Announces Championship Challenge

"The Franchise" Poasty went to last night's Friday Night Fights to address his long term plans for the championship opportunity he earned at Supercard 96: Royal Roulette. Instead, his moment was interrupted with a spiteful attack by Genku, whose place in the match was lost at the last moment.

If he'd been able to: Poasty would've revealed that his career threatening injury last year taught him a lot about knowing his limits. He was concerned about going for too much, too soon. A sentiment echoed by some experts, who even questioned his aspirations to enter the Royal Roulette match.

Many past Royal Roulette winners have cashed-in quickly, coming away with nothing to show for their short term triumph. Yet, his dominant rebuttal of Genku's attack during Friday Night Fights has actually bolstered Poasty's confidence!

Poasty feels he showed he has no limits at Supercard 96, eliminating Hall of Fame legend Marz and one of the most accomplished fighters in history: The_Purple_Bunny! Further more he's shown he can beat the reigning Undisputed Champion - earning an impressive victory against Damo in the Second Round of the 2017 Mid-Year Grand Slam!

The upset win earned then-Div.2 Champion Poasty the moniker of "Champion of Champions" and he feels it's time to put that name to the test!

It's going to one massively anticipated main event rematch when "The Champion of Champions" Poasty takes on "The Chosen One" Damo in the main event of All-Star Summer Showdown!

Poasty may have a victory over Damo pushing him on, but Damo did just defeat the Mid-Year Grand Slam winner who ended Poasty's run! The Chosen One has spent 2017 quietly proving himself as a dominant Undisputed Champion. Will Poasty rise to the top to go 2-0, or is the blue chip stock of The Franchise headed for a fall?

#1 Contender ElJobber will have to wait his turn as the Royal Roulette winner cashes-in his title opportunity to headline the Supercard of the Summer! It's the first exciting match announced for what's sure to be another arena blockbuster! Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks as we charge towards August!

Supercard 97: All-Star Summer Showdown (August 20th, 2017):
- "Champion of Champions" Poasty versus "The Chosen One" Damo (c) [Undisputed Championship]

Friday Night Fights (July 28, 2017)

Poasty came to Friday Night Fights with the intent to reveal his plans for the Royal Roulette title opportunity he earned at Supercard 96. Instead of announcing a timeframe for his title cash-in, The Franchise found himself under attack from a fighter who never made it to the match!

Genku qualified for entry into the Royal Roulette match at Pre-Show 96: Heat Up Scramble, but his guarantee was lost last week, when a stunt match went awry during Chairman Mick's birthday bash FNF! To add insult to injury: the man he defeated in qualifying, TonyTheTiger, made it through the random draw, while Genku himself never entered the 2017 Royal Roulette match!

Genku rushed The Great Arena during the main event segment, cutting Poasty off before he could reveal his upcoming plans. The surprise Royal Roulette winner was cool under pressure, though, as another surprise Genku attack went horribly wrong! Genku fell flat on his face when the bell rung, as Poasty took complete control of the match! It was a result reminiscent of their Division 2 title clash a year ago at Pre-Show 80! Another big win for Poasty, and more frustration for Genku, who has already challenged Mick to fight him at the upcoming Dead Or Alive X event!

TonyTheTiger found himself caught between two other Royal Roulette rivals earlier in the night, with fate handing victory to Benjamin in a three-way contest including King Ken. Both men were eliminated by The Predator on Sunday, but this time Benjamin had the honor of taking out Ken, before scoring the upset win against TTT! The first three entrants from the Royal Roulette match also went to war in the opener, with Miller earning a strong win!

Fallout from AlbertBeefcake's shock return & betrayal at Supercard 96 also brought Statix & The_Hurricane to The Great Arena. DaemonX made a rare appearance to actually answer their challenge for a change, keeping Albert out of reach, instead. DaemonX teamed with the returned Black Bishop Shen_DuHBK for a hard fought match. Despite the loss, DX continued to aunt the opposing duo with the knowledge that Albert is with The Invasion now. Statix vowed they won't stop fighting to get to the truth about the uncharacteristic turn of allegiance.

RSI: Has AlbertBeefcake Joined The Invasion?

At some point between May 20th and May 21st AlbertBeefcake disappeared. His absence was first confirmed when he failed to appear for an interrogation match with DaemonX at Supercard 93: The Chosen. His old friend The_Hurricane joined Statix in taking on the case, helping defend Statix from an assault by unknown attackers. Their attack contributed to an unsuccessful confrontation with DaemonX at Supercard 94: Red Reign.

On July 23rd, AlbertBeefcake returned to the public eye, for the first time since his disappearance, as a surprise competitor at Supercard 96: Royal Roulette. He was fighting on the side of DaemonX & The Invasion, along with the fighter who had sparked his initial investigation into The Case of The Italian Bishop, Shen_DuHBK, back in April.

Albert did not appear under duress during the event, despite his very uncharacteristic behavior.

AlbertBeefcake first returned to The Great Arena in late 2015, helping The_Hurricane fight the emerging threat of The Invasion at Pre-Show 72: Duo Domination.

Their partnership dates back to the days of ICWW, where they memorably won the Tag Team Championship at Panic Attack, fighting against DaemonX. Albert was a force for good throughout his tenure in ICWW, fighting against DaemonX as "The Mystery CEO", and establishing his investigative credentials with the first "Rar Scene Investigation" in 2002.

AlbertBeefcake's sudden allegiance to The Invasion is completely without precedent, explaining the stunned reactions of Statix, The_Hurricane and another of Albert's former tag team partners, Hall of Famer Violent`J, at Supercard 96. There was no way of anticipating such uncharacteristic behavior.

At present there's no way of knowing if Albert discovered something during his investigation that changed his mind about The Invasion, or if he's being coerced or threatened. No doubt Statix and The_Hurricane will be asking a lot of questions in the countdown to August 10th and the 15th Anniversary of ICWW at Dead Or Alive X.

Poasty to Reveal Title Plans on FNF - This Week

Poasty was an unexpected winner at this year's Royal Roulette, earning the right to challenge any champion for their title -- at any event.

Most winners choose the coveted Undisputed Championship, and although they've all gone on to eventually win gold, the majority have failed in their attempts to cash-in their Royal Roulette shot!

In 2012, Ratt was one of the few success stories, coming out of the 40-man Super Royal Roulette to challenge for the Duo Division Championship at that year's All-Star Summer Showdown! He formed an All-Star team with Kron to successfully liberate the title from The Pacific Connection!

Poasty has been given a lot to consider at this stage of his career, and he'll announce his future plans for the Royal Roulette opportunity during this week's Friday Night Fights!

Will the "Champion of Champions" choose to challenge one of the title holders coming out of Supercard 96, or will The Franchise bank his opportunity for a later date? We'll find out during this week's event - Friday, July 28th!

Genku Challenges Mick to Fight

For a fleeting moment after Pre-Show 96: Heat Up Scramble, things finally seemed to be going Genku's way. With a confident victory over TonyTheTiger, he'd secured guaranteed qualification into this year's annual Royal Roulette match. After a string of setbacks, it seemed his Undisputed Championship fate was his to control again!

It all went wrong during the July 21st edition of Friday Night Fights, with a stunt intended to send a message to Mick that backfired horribly! Instead of mocking the former "Michael Lucifer" with the decimation of low ranked fighter Onimike -- Genku was embarrassed with an upset loss, and told his Royal Roulette Qualification had been on the line!

Adding insult to injury: the random draw that entered TonyTheTiger into the 2017 Royal Roulette match failed to do the same for Genku. He's calling the omission "the final straw".

Genku's been convinced Mick has been conspiring against him for months. He's calling Supercard 96 just the latest in a long line of insults and screw jobs. He's sick of the Chairman giving old ICWW failures like Oozaru "unearned title shots" so he can "relive his sad glory days of fighting, which weren't even that great" and not nearly as great as Genku's. Most of all, he's sick of being denied his rightful reign as Undisputed Champion and it's time Mick paid for it.

Genku has challenged Chairman Mick to stop hiding behind his power and step into The Great Arena to fight him at Dead Or Alive X!

The special event will mark the 15th Anniversary of ICWW: the organization where Mick reigned as a three-time World Champion. It's also an event where Genku is actually undefeated, having beaten ShawnMichaels (DOAV), Mimik (DOAVI), Rockey316 and DigbyRigby (DOAVII), and VenoMark (DOAVIII). Will it be the site of his next victory? Mick is yet to respond.

Monday Night Games (July 24, 2017)

The Invasion pawns continued their incursion on Monday nights, but they faced an organizing effort during the Monday Night Games with a rallying return of United: Shoe!

The Red Reign continued to pick up the tab, with members of The United still fractured and persona non grata on Monday. Murdoink & zelse at least got their act together this week, teaming to take down The Invasion tandem of MattHardy & Ghrimm! It was double duty for Ghrimm, who was also taken down in a grudge match by Red_Spaniard, earlier in the night!

The Red Reign duo of Sekktor & redman were still fired up from last night's Supercard 96 contest of trios. They took down WilliamRegal & TripleH in a fruitless Invasion challenge! Only Jauger managed to score a win for the away team -- dominant in a shocking +22 impact upset against Red Reign's legoslayer10!

The biggest moment of the night was undoubtedly the return of Shoe! The United's spiritual leader announced an indefinite hiatus soon after losing a Steel Cage Fight at The Spring Classic. He made his mark felt in the main event, taking down Loopster with a confident win and a call to arms to The United! He assured The Invasion that they kicked the real Invasion's butts late last year, and they weren't about to surrender to a bunch of next generation pawns!

The United will attempt to rally against The Invasion next week in a special presentation of VS United! Two teams of five will represent each factions in the unique format -- but who will come together to fight for The United? Shoe will hope to keep the streak alive as he leads his team in an important edition of the Monday Night Games -- next wee, July 31st!

Monday Night Games: Week 25 (July 24, 2017):
7. United: Shoe d. Loopster [+1]
6. "The Red Reign" Sekktor & redman d. "The Invasion" WilliamRegal & TripleH [+1]
5. "The United" Murdoink & zelse d. "The Invasion" MattHardy & Ghrimm [+2]
4. Jauger d. legoslayer10 [+22]
3. Nephrite d. Zengeance [+8]
2. Red_Spaniard d. Ghrimm [+1]
1. "Wild Pegasus" Zentile d. Maridany [+2]

Weekly Rankings Recap - 7/23/2017

I really thought Poasty was heading to Royal Roulette for experience. I never imagined he'd walk out with a title opportunity! The Royal Roulette event is always an exciting one, and there were a lot of unusual kinks in this year's undercard to keep things very interesting! No title changes, but a whole lot of developments that should bring interesting repercussions throughout August!

The_Purple_Bunny, TonyTheTiger, LordSkarlet, and Loopster really maximized their time in the Royal Roulette match. TPB will probably have a particularly tough time swallowing the near-miss, but the potential to slingshot into this back-half of the year should be strong. I also saw good signs of promise in CaTigeReptile and Ken, even though they didn't get eliminations on the board. I was also very surprised to see Marz making a play for Royal Roulette!

In my opinion, Poasty still shouldn't be rushing to fight beyond himself. He may have achieved the biggest win of his career, but the Royal Roulette title opportunity means he has plenty of time to get more seasoning before he cashes-in. A good eight to ten months could really get him ready to be the "Champion of Champions" some are already claiming him to be.

The return of DECEPTION & Onryo as a fighting combination lived up to the hype, but I'm just as impressed with Baraka_MK & MKMaster. Their Supercard 96 win over The Brexiteers has put them into the Duo Division Top 10, and they clearly have a big future! Of course, it goes without saying that Jammer2Omega & Porygonix are looking ready to make a title challenge, as well.

The return of AlbertBeefcake and Shen_DuHBK could have implications for the Duo Division as well, if their affiliation with The Invasion continues. Those who remember Albert from the ICWW days will be even more stunned to see him walk a dark path with The Invasion. It seems DaemonX has found a way to put a hold over The Big Beefer, much the same way he did Banging. It should be interesting to see what that means for next month's 15th Anniversary event: Dead Or Alive X!

A whole lot to digest as we gear up for the big Summer Season push towards DOA and All-Star Summer Showdown! Make sure you're watching for developments that should start rolling in!

Supercard 96: Royal Roulette

The wheel of fortune is inconsistent by nature. In moments of great triumph we rise up on its spokes, inevitably returned to depths as the wheel completes its fall. Fortune's gifts are fleeting, withdrawn as quickly as they're offered. Some will choose to make their own path, but at Royal Roulette, the prize is a moment to ascend to the summit of possibility and reach for greatness!

Last year it was 2017 Hall of Fame inductee Hokey who outlasted twenty-nine other fighters to win the Royal Roulette match! Four months later, he used his title opportunity to claim the Undisputed Championship at Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion! With six guaranteed qualifiers and untold hundreds entering the random draw: Who will be 2017's lucky winner? The wheel of fortune spins once again. This is Supercard 96: Royal Roulette!

10. "The Franchise" Poasty (#19) eliminated The_Purple_Bunny (#22) to win Royal Roulette!

Excitement permeated the air as anticipation for the first Royal Roulette entrants grew. It was to be a flashback to last year when Miller entered at #1, with kibble grossly outmatched in the opening struggle!

Miller was denied another year's first elimination as AlexanderLuthorJr stormed in at #3! The pair brawled for 90 seconds straight until the arrival of TonyTheTiger at #4 dramatically changed the atmosphere! The Predator nailed Miller, setting him up for elimination by AlexanderLuthorJr. Then TTT capitalized by taking him out of the match, as well!

#5 xort got his first Royal Roulette off to the right start, instantly eliminating an enduring kibble! It meant he had to suffer alone against The Predator, however, who didn't even miss a beat when King Ken arrived: the first of the Pre-Show qualifiers!

TTT greeted Lays with a knock-out blow, which allowed Ken to steal an elimination. It was soon the King of the World who was sent packing, though. DarkScythe was a lamb to the slaughter until "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile arrived to lend a helping hand! TTT & CTR became allies out of last year's match, but it was every fighter for themselves in the 2017 Royal Roulette! CTR did her best to take control of the match, but it was still The Predator who sunk his teeth into the eliminations of DarkScythe, vaiisekk, and surprise last minute qualifier Onimike - who ultimately cost Genku his appearance in the match! The audience waited for Genku when the countdown to #30 began, but it was J-Spit who drew the lucky last position -- only to be eliminated after 12 seconds by abcdeath!

The twenty minute mark saw rapidfire eliminations of Chromatose, Ottis, and Evolved. After just 4 seconds in the match, Poasty scored his first elimination by taking out Fantoche! Nearly a minute later, TonyTheTiger completed the erosion of Benjamin to bring the match to its halfway point!

The_Purple_Bunny came in at #22 and became an immediate target! Poasty & Loopster greeted the 2017 Battle Royale winner, before maxilos & LordSkarlet had a shot as well. Eventually the target on TPB's back brought together a five-on-one force that added CTR and TTT! That allowed Poasty to take control with hard shots against LordSkarlet, and an eliminating effort against KombatKid! The arrival of Hall of Famer Marz allowed TPB to draw attention away from himself. directing traffic at the ICWW legend!

9 fighters remained in the match with no more entrants to come. abcdeath managed to hide in the chaos as the heavyhitters went to work! For one brief moment CaTigeReptile revisited her role as Invasion killer, taking out Loopster. TonyTheTiger quickly found abcdeath, ending his upstart run. Then TPB caught CaTigeReptile from behind, allowing LordSkarlet to earn a massive elimination! Poasty made him pay for it, delivering hard shots to The Red Nightmare while TonyTheTiger busied himself with the elimination of Murdoink. The Predator soon spotted the vulnerable LordSkarlet, ending his hopeful run to set up a scintillating final four with: TonyTheTiger, The_Purple_Bunny, Marz and the one nobody thought should be there - Poasty!

Poasty went to war with TonyTheTiger, but The Predator had amassed a lot of enemies over the course of the match. His phenomenal 14 eliminations made him a serious threat that drew attacks from all sides. After devastating shots from The_Purple_Bunny, TTT's time was up! TPB then turned his focus to "The Franchise" Poasty, but Marz was quick to make the save!

The Battle Royale winner and Hall of Famer entered into an all-out blood feud, throwing devastating bombs like it was the main event of UGP! Poasty let the heavyweights tear each other down, taking a few shots before he saw his opening to finish off Marz! Wile veteran The_Purple_Bunny leapt immediately on Poasty, but the damage of his wars with TTT and Marz was done. To the absolute shock of everyone in attendance, Poasty chopped away at The_Purple_Bunny until he was finally the winner of the 2017 Royal Roulette match!  He will now have the opportunity to challenge for the title of his choosing, at the moment he pleases! The Division 2 Championship is now behind him, but will "The Champion of Champions" watch and wait - or strike at the Undisputed Champion he already defeated in a clash of champions at the 2017 Mid-Year Grand Slam?

9. "The Chosen One" Damo (c) defeated Oozaru in convincing fashion! [+3] [Undisputed Championship]
Over the past few months The Great Arena has been electrified by Oozaru as half of the reunited Pacific Connection. Their legend as a duo stretches back to the days of ICWW, where Oozaru was also an accomplished World Champion! With his tournament victory at the 2017 Mid-Year Grand Slam; Oozaru became an unexpected challenger for the Undisputed Championship, with a chance to carry the gold into the ICWW 15th Anniversary event of Dead Or Alive X! To do so, he would have to beat a fighter fast making 2017 his own year. "The Chosen One" Damo shocked the world at The Spring Classic, but has steadily added to a year full of major wins! He was ill prepared for his newest challenger, but once again showed he's everything he claims to be! For the second year in a row, Royal Roulette would see no title changes. Now Damo looks ahead to the challenges of likely main eventing the spectacle of the annual All-Star Summer Showdown!

8. ElJobber defeated VenoMark [+1] [#1 Contender]
Since The Spring Classic, the Undisputed Championship has been caught in a triangle between three fighters. VenoMark was dashed in a Supercard 93 rematch with Damo, suffering further setback at Supercard 94. ElJobber made his comeback at that time, briefly separating Damo from the gold, before he snapped it back in the final of Tower of Power XIX. VenoMark knocked back some of his biggest rivals at that same event, further demanding attention when he reached the final of the 2017 Mid-Year Grand Slam! Refusing to be ripped from the title: VenoMark and ElJobber are unstoppable force and immovable object! Their collision at Royal Roulette was a necessary inevitability. Their match: a highly competitive duel between proven champions. The result: a hard earned victory that confirms ElJobber will be the next challenger for the Undisputed Championship. All that was left to determine - who would carry the gold towards Dead Or Alive X and All-Star Summer Showdown!

7. CCShadow & Scott-Howell (c) defeated Jerrod & SubMan799 in a comprehensive result. [+2] [Duo Division Championship]
It's been a long time since either Jerrod or SubMan799 has competed for Duo Division gold, but at the Mid-Year Grand Slam they found a common enemy. Both were eliminated from the event by Scott-Howell, and both realized they didn't much like that. They asserted themselves on the June 30 edition of Friday Night Fights, fatally eliminated Rhyno and Grayback. They knocked back top teams Jason_Voorhees & edge and Jammer2Omega & Porygonix on July 7th and July 14th, respectively. As strange as their ascent was, they finally earned their shot -- but it was all for nothing. CCShadow & Scott-Howell loom over the Duo Division more than they ever have before!

6. "The New Generation" DECEPTION & Onryo defeated Mark & Leroy in a comprehensive result. [+1]
On the grand stage of Ultimate Grand Prix VII: Mark & Leroy upset the fairy tale run of The New Generation! Baraka_MK & Onryo decided to go solo thereafter, with the goal of coming back together when they'd honed their technique. Instead, BMK found a new partner at Pre-Show 93, while Onryo sought Div.2 title glory. With his fortunes turning, Onryo announced he was ready to return to the Duo Division - and his old partner DECEPTION was happy to help! The former champions were dominant in their reunion, executing a comprehensive win over the New Gen nemeses! With the monkey finally off his back, "Mad Dog" Onryo celebrated the win like it was for gold, shouting "We did it! We did it!" as the arena erupted with applause.

5. United: Mime (c) defeated Banging in a solid win. [+1] [KFL Championship]
United: Mime drastically changed the picture for the KFL Championship in 2017 when he earned an unexpected title win on January 1st! The outgoing champ was Banging, but he soon bounced back, finding success as one-half of the reunited Pacific Connection! With his partner earning a individual title shot, Banging entered the annual American Dream Battle Royal, emerging a surprise winner to set up a belated rematch! The dominant champ wasn't quite prepared for the voracity of Banging's challenge! He was able to dig deep, earning a solid win.

4. Jammer2Omega & Porygonix defeated "The Invasion" Jason_Voorhees & edge in a close fought match! [+1]
In recent months the Duo Division has been dominated by a select few teams. So when a new tandem attempted to challenge the champions: Jason_Voorhees & edge took immediate offense! Unhappy that The Invasion presumed to represent Duo Division contention: Jammer2Omega & Porygonix stepped into a three-way feud that inevitably led them to The Invasion at Supercard 96! The two teams proved remarkably well matched, worthy of their status as two of the most respected Duo contenders in the league! At the end of the grueling brawl, it was J2O & Porygonix whose desire was just that little bit better served! They would have to wait until later in the night to see what would become of the Duo Division Champions when Jerrod & SubMan799 went for gold.

3. Statix, The_Hurricane & Violent`J defeated "The Invasion" DaemonX, Shen_DuHBK & AlbertBeefcake in a solid victory! [+2]
Statix & The_Hurricane probably thought they had the upperhand when they challenged DaemonX to a contest of trios. Arriving first in the arena, they were soon joined by surprise third-man and one-time Invasion fighter: Violent`J! The advantage quickly faded into insignificance when DaemonX introduced his unannounced partners: AlbertBeefcake and Shen_DuHBK! Albert disappeared while investigating The Invasion just before Supercard 93, which led Statix to take over the investigation, and begin a search for Albert. Their reunion was baffling as Albert showed his former friends nothing but aggression! It wasn't enough to earn The Invasion a victory in the match -- but the mental impact of his return clearly took tis toll on three shellshocked ICWW alum!

2. Baraka_MK & MKMaster defeated "Brexiteers" Liam & nif in a comprehensive result. [+2]
Since pairing up at Pre-Show 93: Baraka_MK & MKMaster have developed into one of the most exciting new combinations in the Duo Division! It was only a matter of time before The Brexiteers came calling to cut them off. There have been no shortcuts for Liam & nif, who've risen through the ranks through hard work and determination. Alas; that wasn't enough to suppress the pure energy propelling the dynamic new duo of BMK & MKM! They celebrated the win, but would be watching BMK's former teammates as they attempted to do what they couldn't by beating Mark & Leroy!

1. "Red Reign" Sekktor, redman & legoslayer10 defeated "The Invasion" Jauger, WilliamRegal & TripleH in a comprehensive victory! [+3]
Sekktor left this week's Monday Night Games furious with The Invasion's recent incursion on the weekly programme. Having missed out on Royal Roulette qualification at Pre-Show 96 (and Monday), Sekktor led Red Reign teammates redman & legoslayer10 in an intense contest of trios against Invasion pawns: Jauger, WilliamRegal & TripleH! The victory sent a strong message to The Invasion pawns, but their ringleader Loopster would escape reprisal, still to appear in the Royal Roulette match later in the night.

Royal Roulette Preview: The 2017 Qualifiers

The 2017 Royal Roulette match will give one lucky fighter a free shot to roll the dice on their own success! The thirty-fighter random entry match grants the winner the right to challenge for any title at any event -- a prize that's propelled the likes of Ratt, Kron and VenoMark to greater heights!

Six fighters have improved their odds, earning guaranteed entry into the Royal Roulette match with qualifying victories at Pre-Show 96: Heat Up Scramble! Almost three hundred other hopefuls will rely on the random draw to enter at intervals of 90 seconds. If fate smiles upon them, they know there'll be at least six proven warriors waiting. Here's a brief look at the challenge that lies ahead!

United: The_Purple_Bunny
Best Royal Roulette Result: Eliminated 26th (2013, 2014)
Best Battle Royale Result: 2017 Battle Royale Winner
Career Eliminations: 19 - Royal Roulette (3) Battle Royale (16)

As this year's Battle Royale winner: The_Purple_Bunny will clearly be one of the biggest threats to enter the 2017 Royal Roulette match! His motivation remains the deep burning desire to win his 7th Undisputed Championship in 2017. A Royal Roulette win will be the perfect way to redeem his loss at Ultimate Grand Prix VII, guaranteeing he maximizes every opportunity before the year ends.

"The Franchise" Poasty
Best Royal Roulette Result: Non-applicable
Best Battle Royale Result: Eliminated 25th (2016)
Career Eliminations: 0 - Royal Roulette (0) Battle Royale (0)

He was a dominating Division 2 Champion until a week ago at Pre-Show 96: now Poasty is jumping out of the pan and into the fire! Some say it's too soon for Poasty to contest a match at this level, but with his win over reigning Undisputed Champion Damo during the Mid-Year Grand Slam, he has others believing he's a "Champion of Champions"! Poasty is clearly blue chip stock however you cut it, and Royal Roulette will be the perfect chance for him to test his mettle against some of the best!

King Ken
Best Royal Roulette Result: Eliminated 27th (2012)
Best Battle Royale Result: Eliminated 28th (2013)
Career Eliminations: 6 - Royal Roulette (0) Battle Royale (6)

Some may say The King of the World's best days in Battle Royal matches are behind him, but when you consider the caliber of stars responsible for eliminating him over the years - his record isn't so bad! It's taken Ratt, ElJobber, Mimik (twice), and TonyTheTiger to remove Ken from the annual Royal Roulette match! As a stalwart of the league since its earliest days, he's amassed considerable experience in these kinds of match-ups. He's never won gold, but now could be the time!

"The Sword of Europe" Chromatose
Best Royal Roulette Result: Eliminated 4th (2016)
Best Battle Royale Result: Eliminated 27th (2011)
Career Eliminations: 0 - Royal Roulette (0) Battle Royale (0)

As a three-time winner of the Fighter For Europe tournament; Chromatose has carved out a smaller territory for himself than Ken, but found similar difficulties in the big multi-man matches. He's only competed in Royal Roulette once, engulfed quickly by a streak of eliminations by Shoe at last year's event. He had to beat arch-rival NovaStarr to qualify for the 2017 Royal Roulette match at Pre-Show 96. Now The Sword of Europe is drawn to plunge deeper into Royal Roulette than ever before!

Loopster
Best Royal Roulette Result: Eliminated 19th (2016)
Best Battle Royale Result: Eliminated 17th (2016)
Career Eliminations: 0 - Royal Roulette (0) Battle Royale (0)

The Invasion's most dangerous pawn had to defend his qualification in a second clash during this week's Monday Night Games. His second win over Red Reign rival Sekktor reminded everyone that qualifying was no mere fluke. Loopster may be a pawn in The Invasion's game, but he's proven time and time again that he can upset kings! He infamously unseated the Undisputed Champion a year ago at the Mid-Year Grand Slam. A win in Royal Roulette could finally make it for keeps!

Onimike
Best Royal Roulette Result: Non-applicable
Best Battle Royale Result: Eliminated 5th (2016)
Career Eliminations: 3 - Royal Roulette (0) Battle Royale (3)

Nobody would've expected Onimike to be guaranteed a place in the Royal Roulette match, but a little help from Chairman Mick has given him the ultimate opportunity! He stole qualification from Genku during yesterday's Birthday Bash Friday Night Fights, where a spiteful stunt went horribly wrong. Now Onimike has a chance to revisit his surprise success in the 2016 Battle Royale match, where he eliminated the first three competitors! Could another miracle propel him to the win of his career?

Genku
Best Royal Roulette Result: 2011 Royal Roulette Winner
Best Battle Royale Result: Eliminated 39th (2011, 2013)
Career Eliminations: 30 - Royal Roulette (9) Battle Royale (21)

Genku thought his path to the Undisputed Championship was finally secured when he beat "The Predator" TonyTheTiger in a qualifying match at Pre-Show 96. He never considered his own mind games would cost him guaranteed entry into the Royal Roulette match! As winner of the original 12-fighter Royal Roulette, runner-up in 2012's 40-fighter Royale Roulette, and a runner-up again in 2014 - he's one of the most successful competitors in Royal Roulette history! Alas; now his fate lies in the random draw with hundreds of other fighters hoping to get a shot! If his number comes up, there's no denying Genku will be a serious threat -- but the odds are as against him as he thinks officials are!

Friday Night Fights (July 21, 2017)

Mick was Special Guest of Honor during this week's Friday Night Fights, celebrating his birthday with a special seat - live in the arena! The league official was treated to an exciting night of action, with a Duo Division main event featuring some of his old comrades from ICWW!

Only one fighter attempted to offer a gift: Genku emerged early in the night, claiming to have found the perfect opponent for a special demonstration. When he returned to the arena later, he was soon followed by the entrance of Onimike. Genku announced the was glad the Chairman could finally be there to witness the beatdown he was dedicating to him. Genku's choice of opponent was a reference to Mick's fighting days as "Michael Lucifer", but the scenario backfired in the biggest way possible!

Onimike exploded with a sudden attack -- completely catching Genku off guard! He wiped Genku out in an instant, scoring a major upset win! Mick left his seat to announce he hoped Genku enjoyed the stunt. Mick had actually caught wind of the plan during the day, and officially made the match for the Royal Roulette qualification Genku earned at Pre-Show 96! A furious Genku stormed out of the arena as Mick wished him good luck with the weekend draw.

The twist means Onimike is guaranteed to be among the thirty fighters to enter the random entry Royal Roulette match this Sunday! The last man standing will be granted a shot at the Championship of their choosing, at the time of their desire! Other guaranteed entrants include: United: The_Purple_Bunny, "The Franchise" Poasty, King Ken, "The Sword of Europe" Chromatose and Loopster! The full card for the July 23rd event was announced earlier this week.

The last time Mick was in the arena, he personally endorsed "The Invasion" Jason_Voorhees & edge on the June 9th edition of Friday Night Fights. They weren't able to impress the Chairman again, succumbing to a highly motivated Statix & The_Hurricane! The winning pair will hope to find answers about the disappearance of AlbertBeefcake when they face a trio led by the elusive DaemonX this Sunday! DX won't be calling upon Jason & edge, however! They've earned the ire of rival contenders Jammer2Omega & Porygonix!

"The New Generation" DECEPTION & Onryo will also feature at Supercard 96, and were in the arena on Friday to continue their preparations for a Duo reunion. They scored a commanding victory over KurtAngle & EricAngle, putting them in good stead for their big match! The match will also feature Baraka_MK and his new partner MKMaster taking on The Brexiteers, and the team of Jerrod & SubMan799 facing reigning Duo Division Champions CCShadow & Scott-Howell! All this and so much more - be here Sunday for all the results!

Birthday Bash FNF for Mick This Week

August 10th will see The Great Arena celebrate the 10th Anniversary of ICWW with a special presentation of Dead Or Alive X. Before celebrating the organization that made league official Mick a famed fighting legend: this week's Friday Night Fights will celebrate his day of birth!

Mick will be the official Guest of Honor at this week's Friday Night Fights on July 21st, watching the action from a special seat - live in the arena!

Some of his old friends from ICWW will headline as Statix & The_Hurricane take on "The Invasion" Jason_Voorhees & edge in an exciting main event!

Mick was once known as "The Spirit of Vengeance" Michael Lucifer, doggedly pursuing his rivals as one of the most feared and respected combatants in ICWW. Behind-the-scenes he was equally well regarded as a revolutionary force. Today he serves as an official in The Great Arena -- a position that has regularly brought him under fire from controversial fighter Genku.

Genku won a qualifying match for this weekend's Royal Roulette at Pre-Show 96: Heat Up Scramble, which should keep him busy preparing for Sunday. That said, there's no denying the possibility of a confrontation as Genku continues to blame Mick for his difficulties reaching the Undisputed title.

Monday Night Games (July 17, 2017)

The Monday Night Games became the scene of a shocking flashback to last year's battle for control as The Invasion flooded The Great Arena! The group was led by Loopster, but with The United spread apart by injury and in-fighting, it was up to an unexpected source to defend the territory!

The Invasion's return to Mondays was an unforeseen consequence of the American Dream Battle Royal, which brought Loopster in search of a KFL title opportunity. He returned the following week, testing the absence of The United as he dominated zelse in the opening match.

The United's rookie recruit once again formed the first line of defense when he was joined by an unlikely ally in Red_Spaniard! The pair was unsuccessful in trying to fight back against MattHardy & Ghrimm, but Red_Spaniard's involvement signaled the unexpected assistance of The Red Reign!

Wars between The Red Reign and The United accounted for the absences of LordSkarlet, hydraslash, Shoe and Artanix, but the remaining active members of The Red Reign gathered in The Great Arena to make a stand on behalf of their enemies! They acknowledged their issues with The United, but said they'd be damned if they were going to let Invasion scum takeover!

Sekktor even convinced Loopster to put his Royal Roulette Qualification on the line in the night's main event: a rematch of their Pre-Show 96 qualifier! It looked promising, too! Nephrite lent a hand to destroy Zengeance in a MAX Damage annihilation! redman & legoslayer10 confidently defeated WilliamRegal & TripleH, as well! With the momentum squarely behind them, Sekktor did his best to improve upon their close fought qualification bout -- but this time came up well short!

Loopster will remain one of six guaranteed entrants into this Sunday's Royal Roulette match, joining a random entry draw with: United: The_Purple_Bunny, The Invasion's Genku, "The Franchise" Poasty, "The Sword of Europe" Chromatose, and King Ken! The Red Reign won't let Loopster's Invasion get away that easily, though! Sekktor vowed to beat three of their best at Supercard 96 as the Monday Night Games came to a close!

Monday Night Games: Week 24 (July 17, 2017):
7. Loopster (q) d. Sekktor [+2] [Royal Roulette Qualification]
6. "Red Reign" redman & legoslayer10 d. "The Invasion" WilliamRegal & TripleH [+2]
5. Baraka_MK & MKMaster d. McDaniel & fraysol [+1]
4. United: Murdoink d. ArtemisFlow [+1]
3. Nephrite d. Zengeance [+MAX]
2. ErmackDaddy d. NOOB [+1]
1. "The Invasion" MattHardy & Ghrimm d. Red_Spaniard & United: zelse [+2]

Weekly Rankings Recap - 7/16/2017

A lot of lateral movement this week in The Great Arena! Pre-Show 96: Heat Up Scramble alone gave us five confirmed Royal Roulette competitors, a new Division 2 Champion, and the return of an injured fighter that restores a very promising Duo Division tandem! The net result is a very organic, compelling line-up for Supercard 96 that might otherwise look completely bizarre on paper.

I was completely unprepared for Poasty to lose the Division 2 Championship, even though he was perfectly poised to do so. Shinnokxz is a pretty good natured guy with a strong presence around the arena. He should be a good champion, and it seems like it's time for Poasty to move on from the Div. 2 ranks. He's just passed the unofficial 5000gs threshold, and should rebound well if he can fight into the later stages of the Royal Roulette match. I see a KFL title run for the "Champion of Champions".

Jerrod & SubMan799 definitively proved they're the real deal with a big win during this week's Friday Night Fights. With their past as Duo Division competitors, I maintain that it'll be very foolish to under estimate their chances against the champs. They're a big part of the weird chemistry of the Royal Roulette card, but it should produce interesting results.

It feels as if there's a little bit of a dream match scenario to Jammer2Omega & Porygonix spinning off their loss to take on "The Invasion" Jason_Voorhees & edge. They did meet back during the Grand Prix Show, but both teams have had major developments throughout the year. It feels like a big time match between two serious contenders. Possible challengers for Jerrod & SubMan?

It would be remiss of me to overlook the way Genku repositioned himself this week. No sooner than rejoining The Invasion does he secure guaranteed qualification into Royal Roulette. He may not like The Invasion, but they like him, and right now it makes sense for both entities.

The_Purple_Bunny will be the other obvious hot prospect guaranteed to enter the Royal Roulette match. With VenoMark competing in a #1 Contender's match, is it possible we arrive at an Ultimate Grand Prix VII main event rematch for All-Star Summer Showdown? Wouldn't that be interesting? We'll find out this Sunday when Supercard 96: Royal Roulette emanates from The Great Arena. Be here for the full results and rankings recap update!

Pre-Show 96: Heat Up Scramble

The stakes for victory at Pre-Show 96: Heat Up Scramble were high as ten competitors fought for guaranteed qualification into this year's Royal Roulette match! The winners would not have to leave it to fate to decide if they enter the thirty-fighter bout, where random entry occurs every 90 seconds, and the last man standing earns the right to challenge for any title, at the time of his choosing!

A reversal of fortunes saw United: The_Purple_Bunny defeat his Hall of Fame United teammate and arch-rival Mimik! The pair have dogged each other over disappointing performances since May, leading to their match at Pre-Show 95: Tower Defense. Mimik won that one with a +2 impact, but it was a mirrored result as the 2017 Battle Royale winner fought his way into the mid-year scramble. The win gives TPB another chance to fulfill his goal of winning his 7th career Undisputed title in 2017!

Genku was forced to face "The Predator" TonyTheTiger in another rematch for Royal Roulette Qualification, having mistakenly assumed he would be guaranteed entry. An emphatic victory helped undo the damage of a disappointing Mid-Year Grand Slam, earning him a guaranteed slot in the match that could finally bring him back to the Undisputed Championship he abruptly lost in February! Genku continues to blame officials for conspiring to keep him from the title, but will have total control of his fate if he wins Royal Roulette!

"The Sword of Europe" Chromatose earned a good win over rival NovaStarr to score guaranteed qualification. He also joins qualifying match winners King Ken and The Invasion's Loopster, as well as previously announced entrant Poasty, who defeated reigning Undisputed Champion Damo in the Second Round of the Mid-Year Grand Slam in a clash of champions!

A condition of Poasty's entry into the match was that he defend the Division 2 Championship at Pre-Show 96. His chosen challenger Shinnokxz was defeated in June at Supercard 94: Red Reign, but he earned his way back for a second chance and made the absolute most of it! Poasty's pre-occupation with adding a second championship to his waist may've been his undoing! Shinnokxz fought hard to match the dominant champ, hitting his peak to narrowly take an upset victory! It marks the first title in Shinnokxz' long career. Will it damage Poasty's reputation as a "Champion of Champions"? He has the ultimate second chance when he enters the Royal Roulette match - next week!

24 fighters will be plucked from a random draw of hundreds when Supercard 96: Royal Roulette gathers thirty fighters for the ultimate game of chance! The July 23rd event will also feature Mid-Year Grand Slam winner Oozaru taking on "The Chosen One" Damo to decide who marches into August as Undisputed Champion! Oozaru's Pacific Connection partner Banging will challenge United: Mime for the KFL Championship. Be here next week for full results!

Other big winners at Pre-Show 96 included: G0LD picking up an impressive Div.2 win over Round 1 tournament rival avenger45! One-man Greek Revolution maxilos fended off the aggressions of Italian attacker giandavil! The teams of Politics & Menas, "Brexiteers" Liam & nif, and rxvt & deadly earned big wins, with the latter marking the surprise return of rxvt from his Pre-Show 85 injury!

FNF Sparks Team Feuds for Supercard 96

The July 14th edition of Friday Night Fights was filled with fire and fury, and if anybody thought it was going to end there -- they were sorely mistaken! Three new matches have been confirmed for Supercard 96: Royal Roulette as a direct consequence of a big night of action!

Jerrod & SubMan799 were united by a common enemy when they were both eliminated from the 2017 Mid-Year Grand Slam. After announcing their union on June 30th, they fended off two of the hottest teams in the Duo Division to confirm a Championship match against CCShadow & Scott-Howell at next Sunday's event!

"The Invasion" Jason_Voorhees & edge were the first team to stand between Jerrod & SubMan799 and their goals -- a fact Jammer2Omega & Porygonix were none too pleased with! It was a case of adding insult to injury,. given Jason_Voorhees also eliminated Jammer2Omega from the Mid-Year Grand Slam. The result promises to be another exciting Duo Division grudge match when these two teams meet for a blockbuster showdown!

PLUS: After being brutally beaten by The Invasion's superior numbers; Statix & The_Hurricane have recruited an extra ally to even the score! Their search for missing AlbertBeefcake has gone unresolved, with DaemonX remaining elusive since his victory at Supercard 94. They'll take on DX and any two members of The Invasion he chooses in the hopes of finding the next vital clue!

Supercard 96 will also feature the annual Royal Roulette match, which grants the last man standing a championship challenge at the time and place of their choosing! Be here tomorrow, July 16th when ten fighters compete for the right to earn guaranteed qualification at Pre-Show 96: Heat Up Scramble!

Friday Night Fights (July 14, 2017)

The action was hot and heavy during Friday Night Fights as tensions escalated in the build to next weekend's Supercard 96: Royal Roulette! The Duo Division featured in main event competition, but it was the ever tumultuous alignments of The Invasion that caused the biggest stir!

Genku seemingly turned his back on The Invasion after provoking an attack from Jason_Voorhees & edge during the June 16th edition of Friday Night Fights. Spiritual guide DaemonX attempted to lure Genku back, warning of the perils of isolating himself in a hostile arena. Those perils appeared to play out last week, when Genku was dominated by a 2-on-1 attack from Statix & The_Hurricane!

Returning to The Invasion fold, Genku teamed with DaemonX to return the favour to Statix in the second handicap ambush of the night! The first occurred when Jason_Voorhees & edge isolated and destroyed The_Hurricane. Statix' attempts to help his investigation partner only left him open to The Invasion's reprisal. The group stood dominant over their prey, but Genku directed his aggressions at the powers that be, telling Mick to see what happens when he screws with him.

Genku was likely responding to the announcement of Royal Roulette Qualifying matches for this weekend's Pre-Show 96: Heat Up Scramble. Genku had previously presumed to be guaranteed entry into the annual Royal Roulette match, but he will have to qualify when he meets recent rival "The Predator" TonyTheTiger.

The moment was with Jerrod & SubMan799 when they accepted the main event challenge of hot Duo Division prospects Jammer2Omega & Porygonix! J2O & Pory had their own grievances with The Invasion for presuming to be gatekeepers during last week's FNF, but the upstart pair of Jerrod & SubMan799 proved their worth in a highly competitive clash! It's the third straight victory for the odd team, who declared their intentions to gun for mutual enemies, and Duo Division Champions, Scott-Howell & CCShadow, on June 30th.

The more familiar pairing of "The New Generation" DECEPTION & Onryo competed earlier in the night, earning a dominant victory over rick991 & kentei290. The New Generation are preparing for a comeback at Supercard 96: Royal Roulette, where Onryo will facedown the rivals who split him from his partner Baraka_MK: Mark & Leroy!

Duo Division Main Event Tomorrow

Jerrod & SubMan799 have been making waves since forming an alliance after the 2017 Mid-Year Grand Slam. They have a common enemy in reigning Duo Division Champions Scott-Howell & CCShadow and plan to rectify their grievance by taking their gold!

The pair announced themselves with lethal effectiveness on June 30th, and backed that up with a grudge challenge from "The Invasion" Jason_Voorhees & edge just last week! The win was a major feather in their cap, but there'll be at least one more hurdle to leap during this week's Friday Night Fights!

Jammer2Omega & Porygonix have been one of the most exciting combinations of recent years, and they aren't happy with Jason_Voorhees & edge presuming to be gatekeepers to Duo Division gold! They'll return to Friday Night Fights tomorrow to take on the immediate threat of Jerrod & SubMan799, while keeping an eye on the lingering contention of The Invasion!

PLUS:  "The New Generation" DECEPTION & Onryo have announced plans to reunite at Supercard 96: Royal Roulette to take on the duo who split Onryo & BMK: Mark & Leroy! To prepare for the big match, The New Generation will be on Friday Night Fights for a duo warm-up!

Be here for a full recount of all the action from Friday Night Fights - tomorrow, July 14th!
