It's fair to say a group calling themselves The Invasion knew they were going to make enemies when they first returned to The Great Arena.
Not only did they ruffle feathers within The League Union, but also jilted fighters from the collapsed KFL sub-league who were angered by their attempts to capitalize on the fall. There was also the rise of a group hailing from the same vintage - The Alliance, who believed The Invasion were trouble from the start! Despite their best efforts to carve out a piece of Monday Night to call their own, The Invasion's enemies have inevitably come to fight.
It was DaemonX' intention to rid The Invasion of the distraction of new enemies when he led the call to exile ShawnMichaels from the group after Pre-Show 81: The British Exit. This act in itself began a new struggle for The Invasion, leading the war to spill over into other domains as recently as the incursion no October 14!
In November, the battle lines will be drawn as The Invasion is forced to defend themselves on two fronts! DaemonX will lead a team against the forces of Shawn Michaels & The British Exit, while another group of five is forced to face an attack from The Alliance!
Will dividing The Invasion lead to their ultimate defeat? It's shaping up to be a big November as we count down to Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion!
