"The Guardian" CaTigeReptile also maintained her bad mood from All-Star Summer Showdown, delivering the biggest impact of the tournament thus far: a hellacious +25 demolition of legoslayer10! Ally against The United: "The Predator" TonyTheTiger kept a more modest pace, eliminating "Greek Crisis" fighter maxilos for +3.
VenoMark showed no ill effects from his grueling Steel Cage Fight at All-Star Summer Showdown. The same couldn't be said for his opponent - Damo! "The Chosen One" was among the fighters who chose to miss the Summer Grand Slam, unable to compete just one day after a brutal defeat! A small handful of competitors were missing after the Supercard, including DArqueBishop and m0s.
One fighter who would not miss his tournament opportunity was Poasty! Having just returned from a career threatening injury, he made an enthusiastic appearance at his first Grand Slam of the year -- only to go out at the hands of United: Shoe! A bittersweet moment for the former Division 2 Champion! Good news for the reigning Div.2 Champ, though. He endured a gutsy effort from Nephrite to advance to the Second Round! Ousted champ avenger45 was a somewhat surprising exit, taken out by rising Duo Division star Jammer2Omega!
