Special Event: The Rapture & The Madness!

On May 20, the world said goodbye to wrestling great "Macho Man" Randy Savage and hello to life after The Rapture! In response to these tumultuous events, we announce an special unscheduled tribute event! Macho May 29 will be The Rapture and The Madness in the first ever special event!

Everyone with a touch of madness will gather in The Great Arena for a series of exciting, special one-time matches! Cr0w defends the Undisputed Championship in a controversial macho battle with the biggest bad guy in the ranks; mega powers collide as good friends Kron and Ratt face-off in a rare one-on-one encounter; ElJobber and Toryn will continue their feud and attempt to capture the undercard magic of Steamboat/Savage; and many more as fighters pay tribute and fight for a shot at glory!

PLUS! I want everybody to freak out, freak out! In a special trio of opening matches, the Barons of Lord Mislukking return to do battle with the fighting faithful of The Great Arena! You'll be agape as ZachAngel, rxvt and Politics attempt to fight back a plague of War, Pestilence, and Famine!

For one night only it's a tower of power, too sweet to be sour, insane list of amazing feuds and fantastic battles! A special event like no other, The Rapture and The Madness!

12. Cr0w (c) d. Mimik & Shoe in a stunning three-way blockbuster defense of the Undisputed Championship!
A controversial, but elementary defense of the Undisputed Championship turned into a legitimate struggle for Cr0w when he found himself faced with two opponents in this very unusual special match-up!

It was only two weeks ago that Shoe seemingly cut short the rising challenge of Mimik in an extra-arena attack. The exploitative assault earned Shoe the ire of the competitive ranks and the audience alike! Keen to pay tribute at this Macho May special, Mimik has fought his way back to life, to be inserted into the unique situation of a three-way Championship match, with as much potential to be a public hanging as a changing of the guard!

The momentum of his return was certainly with Mimik! He took the fight to both opponents, forcing Cr0w to rise to a challenge he almost certainly wasn't prepared for! On the back foot, the Champion set his sights on the weak link, unleashing a domination on Shoe that resulted in a stunning +18 impact! The assault was enough to bring Cr0w back into the fight, making it an even one-on-one clash between old allies! Rallying his might, Cr0w was able to repel a Mimik who showed converse signs of fatigue in the later stages of the battle.

The impressive win made this much less an exhibition brawl, more a true endorsement of Cr0w's return to the Championship! A worthy second defense for the Champ, he now faces the prospect of rewriting history as the first man to successfully defend the title for a third consecutive time! He won't have to contend with Shoe anytime soon -- Public Enemy #1 likely to face-off against Mimik in the near future, given that the beatdown he suffered came primarily from Cr0w. Mimik vs Shoe is sure to be one of the blockbuster main events coming June 19 at Supercard 8!

11. Kron d. Ratt in a solid victory.
A collision of mega powers had The Great Arena in a flutter as these two awesome figures paid tribute to their Macho/Maniac counterparts! Currently billed as #1 contender, all eyes were particularly on Ratt, with this match makign for a preview of any eventuating clash between he and reigning Champion, Cr0w!

Kron, may have exited the contender stakes for the time being, but was not about to go easy on Ratt despite being a moral ally and good friend! In a true explosion of powers, Kron came close to full force, attacking with the intensity he has sometimes lacked in his recent meetings with arch-rival, Cr0w. "The Iron Man" Ratt, on the other hand, reprised the fading spark he seemed to show at Supercard 7, where he competed to a disappointing result in his first encounter with Kron, under three-way conditions.

Beloved as the "heart" of The Great Arena, it may have been a touch of reluctance that coloured Ratt's performance in both battles with pal, Kron. Some may speculate that it's the heavy workload that has finally taken its toll on Ratt, however. Despite the "explosion" theme of their battle and the intensity of the attack, both fighters showed great regard for each other in the end, delivering a modest conclusion to a fight that could've been far more brutal! Despite the win, Kron raised Ratt's hand in triumph, endorsing his candidacy as the next challenger to the Undisputed Championship! An awesome sight for all in attendance!

10. ElJobber d. Toryn in a +4 decimation.
At Supercard 4, ElJobber faced daunting odds against a man he had never beaten, and after losing that shot at Championship glory on the grandest stage of them all, you could've forgiven him for giving up. Like a real Macho Man, however, ElJobber bounced back at Supercard 6 to see the better end of a +7 decimation against Toryn!

Looking to defend his 2-1 history and improve upon a string of defeats, Toryn hoped to summon a little machismo of his own! The chemistry between these two rivals could not be denied as they attempted to recreate the exhibition of some of the greatest fights ever seen. The contest would not be close enough to be quite as electric as the mythic likes of Savage/Steamboat, but never the less reminded that there is still great depth to the upper echelons of the fighting ranks! ElJobber emerged victorious with a noteworthy +4 impact, staking his claim to any future battles for the Undisputed Championship!

9. Genku d. Hokey in a decimation.
Since returning to life, Genku has shown he only has regard for one thing in The Great Arena -- himself! In a never-before seen rematch of the Tournament 1 Semi Final, Genku looked to pick up a little extra credit against fan-favourite fellow contender, Hokey!

Hokey has found himself a dominant staple of the duo division alongside Ninja_Mime, but would be alone with his fortunes against the menace of Genku. He must've wished his partner were there, though, as Genku commenced a whooping! The former golden boy of The Great Arena had little luck as Genku unleashed a decimation, his fortunes extending only so far as his ability to endure a tolerable +2 impact! Hokey lives to fight another day, while Genku lives only for himself and his pursuit of the Undisputed Championship.

8. DECEPTION & Onryo d. Liam & nif.
With an undefeated streak of two, nif welcomed Liam in to the fighting ranks! Friends, allies, partners, the pair couldn't have picked a more fine time to debut in the duo division, facing steep odds against rising tandem DECEPTION & Onryo under the mutual appreciation of the Macho Man!

A couple of Macho Men despite their limited credentials, Liam & nif managed to pose a fair challenge to the as-yet undefeated duo of DECEPTION & Onryo. Despite having a much less personal connection to build upon, D&O had the fundamentals to overwhelm their less seasoned opponents, relying on a foundation of hard work to guarantee victory. Liam & nif may have been underwhelming in their first appearance, but will surely find the time to reappear in the near future to improve their stock!

7. Ken d. STEROLIZER in a comprehensive +3 impact.
Ken has seen some bad luck in recent times, notably going down as the first shock elimination from Tournament 5 -- the very event where STEROLIZER finally broke the mould with unprecedented back-to-back victories! This reversal of fortunes made what was once a joke of a feud into a very interesting prospect as they reprised their role as enemies for this special Macho tribute!

Known for his misproportunate ego, the Macho STEROLIZER could have invited a rapture upon The Great Arena with another victory. Fortunately, Ken was not about to allow that to happen, despite looking underdone by his once over achieving standards. Faced with an old enemy, STERO produced a vintage performance, handing Ken the keys to victory before he even needed to reach down to find the power to secure a +3 impact in this comprehensive victory.

6. DaMo d. DigbyRigby in a comprehensive result.
Funky like a monkey and appreciative of the Macho Man's heyday, these two unique competitors made for an intriguing match-up. Intent on increasing his powers in the lead-up to the special event, DigbyRigby had undergone a training-borne transformation, but against a DaMo who is sitting on the verge of the unofficial top ten, could it be enough?

The answer was, surprisingly enough -- no. In a truly intriguing match-up, the intensity of DigbyRigby's work-out regime may have let him down, resulting in a less than impressive showing. The comprehensive victory lends DaMo a little extra push moving forward, while duo division partner, DeathScepter, sits ten on the unofficial contender rankings!

5. SmokeRulz d. SubMan799 & NightHawk in a narrow victory!
Having emerged as one of the heroes of Tournament 5 in a Great Arena coming-of-age, SubMan799 would enter the unique situation of a three-way battle with favourite status and a lot to fight for! Hovering near death, he was the battered veteran to relative newcomers, SmokeRulz and NightHawk!

In an evenly matched triple threat line-up, it was indeed SubMan799 who looked to be the strongest in the early goings. The unique make-up of the three-way fight, however, conspired to turn the tables as SmokeRulz took the fight to his opponents, taking out NightHawk before rising to the challenge of SubMan799! It was down to the wire in a blockbuster finish as SmokeRulz made it a 50/50 spread in his win/loss records, impressive in an upset victory!

4. Pink_Ranger & Ghostdragon d. Porygonix & xtactics.
After her loss at Supercard 7, Pink_Ranger has eyes for a grudge bout against CaTigeReptile, but as part of the special 'one night only' format, she reunites with Ghostdragon for a chance to improve upon an underwhelming duo record!

Porygonix & xtactics enter the bout favourites, despite having fared no better in their brief time amongst the duo division. Pink_Ranger & Ghostdragon finally found the chemistry lacking in their previous two outings, delivering a defeat to the favoured Team Kron combo. Porygonix & xtactics showed some of the inexperience that is often forgotten due to their individual overachieving, but remained competitive. It's a bittersweet conclusion for a team apparently destined for separation, but what the future might hold for the overdue winners remains to be seen!

3. Ares Menschlich d. ZachAngel in a +14 decimation!
The spiritual leader of the fighting faithful, ZachAngel had by far the tallest order of the trio. Ares Menschlich is both an instrumental figure in the foundation of the organized combat league and the aptly nicknamed Baron of War! Rarely challenged by even the most powerful fighters in The Great Arena, it was a daunting prospect for the relatively unseasoned ZachAngel! He was left agape at the terrifying assault presented to him, by far the most devastating display of any of the Rapture-insipred undercard, despite a result that conclude with only a +14 impact! War complete the hat-trick for the Barons, but no Rapture eventuated.

2. Praga Conquette d. rxvt in a +13 decimation!
The fighting faithful went 2-0 in their second attempt to fend off the Rapture in battle with Lord Mislukking's Four Horsemen! rxvt had the unenviable task of battling a traditionally unregarded combatant in Praga Conquette. The Baroness of Pestilence has struggled to measure up against the upper echelon of competitors in The Great Arena, but with a knack for bringing out the worst in her opponents, she flourished against the scaled down strength of rxvt. Though the battle proved just as devastating for rxvt, Conquette was only able to execute a +13 impact from her total decimation! A chilling reminder that all of Mislukking's fighting Barons are a threat to anyone ill prepared!

1. Bez Busshitsu d. Politics in a +16 annihilation!
The first Rapture-inspired undercard bout proved to be the most brutal! Bez Busshitsu, Baron of Famine, has shown remarkable staying power in his frequent battles in and out of The Great Arena, establishing a power base far greater than anyone could have expected. Politics was at the absolute mercy of Famine, impotent in the face of an elemental threat! A +16 impact left Politics worse for wear, but the scale of this combative annihilation had the potential to be far greater! A small blessing for the fighting faithful in the first of three exhibition bouts!

The standard schedule resumes as Macho May gives way to a jam packed month of super-fights! Next week the cards will be finalised as we count down to June 12's Pre-Show 8: Queen's Court Rules ahead of the blockbuster June 19 showcase, Supercard 8! All the fall-out of Supercard 7 and more will unfold as two of the biggest cards in histroy unfold!

For one night only it's a tower of power, too sweet to be sour, insane list of amazing feuds and fantastic battles! A special event like no other, The Rapture and The Madness!

1. Shoe versus Cr0w for the Undisputed Championship!
In an incredibly controversial match, Cr0w will defend his Undisputed Championship against a man many feel is less '#1 one contender', more Public Enemy #1! Shoe fought his way to the Semi Final at Tournament 5, but amidst questions about his ability to defeat legitimate top tier competition, crumbled before the might of Cr0w! Cr0w will no doubt be looking to get payback for former ally, Mimik, who was taken out in a vile exchange a week ago! Cr0w will take control of this volatile situation and deliver it to the insane conclusion it demands! Ohhh yeeeaah!

2. Kron versus Ratt
Mega powers will explode in this rare one-on-one meeting between good pals Kron and Ratt! Former Champions and two of the most preeminent fighters in competition, they are friends and acquaintances outside The Great Arena, united in a common struggle in the past when Kron lent a hand in Ratt's struggle against the evil Barons of Lord Mislukking! Like the legendary duo of Savage and Hogan, their friendship will dissolve for one special night when they go head-to-head in a blockbuster tribute! Who will be the greatest for all time?!

3. ElJobber versus Toryn
Just like Wrestlemania III, the ninth match to go on from twelve will threaten to overshadow the entire event as ElJobber and Toryn reignite their feud in another epic encounter! Once upon a time it was all Toryn, but ElJobber has since shed a winless record against Toryn to turn the tables. It'll be an old fashioned technical exhibition as they do battle one more time to determine who is truly the machoest man of all! History beckons the winner!

4. Genku versus Hokey
Hokey will be without duo partner Ninja_Mime in this exhibition showcase when he pays tribute to the Macho Man in a clash against an opponent who is fast becoming one of the top contenders in The Great Arena! Genku has a zest for life since shaking free the shackles of The Barons of Lord Mislukking, but don't think the former-Revenant is all hugs and kisses! The only things he has a zest for more are himself and the Undisputed Championship! Watch out Hokester, the madness is coming!

5. Liam & nif versus DECEPTION & Onryo
It'll be the new versus the old in this match-up of classic tandem tag team action! Relative newcomer nif is on an unbeaten record and after months of anticipation he has finally brought friend and partner, Liam, to the big dance! This dastardly duo will clash with old style pals DECEPTION & Onryo, who have already begun to make a name for themselves as the sensational mega maniacs threatening to go all the way to the top!

6. Ken versus STEROLIZER
The more things change, the more they stay the same! STEROLIZER knows all about being a "macho man" and for a stark change of pace, he's even backing it up in battles! Ken may be down on his luck, but when he faces off against old enemy STERO in this special tribute bout, he'll be bringing a whole lot of madness with him! The tower of power, too sweet to be sour, baby! Ohhhh yeeeaah!

7. DigbyRigby versus DaMo
Few fighters live up to the "funky like a monkey" edict as well as DaMo and the elusive DigbyRigby! DaMo is on the rise, while DigbyRigby has everything to fight for and nothing to lose! Oh yeah! A couple of classic cut madmen, they'll bring the madness and plenty more when they go head-to-head for the first time in another one-night only exhibition bout!

8. SmokeRulz versus SubMan799 versus NightHawk
From the tradition of professional wrestling comes a match innovated by Cr0w and perfect for this very special occasion! SmokeRulz, NightHawk and SubMan799 are all relatively new to The Great Arena! Who will snap in to the opportunity to stamp another victory on their belt of success? The sky's the limit for these young guns! Ohhh yeeeahh!

9. Pink_Ranger & Ghostdragon versus Porygonix & xtactics
It takes all sorts to make it work and Pink_Ranger & Ghostdragon have a lot to prove when they reunite for one night only in another tandem test! Porygonix & xtactics were part of Kron's failed new world order, but on their own they continue to be rising ultimate maniacs of the duo ranks!

10. ZachAngel versus Ares Menschlich (War)
The spiritual leader of the fighting faithful; ZachAngel will have his work cut out for him when he faces off against the most powerful of Lord Mislukking's Order of Four Barons! Ares Menschlich is the horseman of war, a pugilistic powerhouse whose record in official competition is impeccable! Will ZachAngel be able to pull off a miracle in this special undercard return of the big bad guys, or is a Rapture coming to The Great Arena?

11. rxvt versus Praga Conquette (Pestilence)
rxvt doesn't exactly personify the fighting faithful spirit, but he will have no choice but to call upon a higher power when he faces the sickly contagion of Praga Conquette -- Baroness of Pestilence! This sickly fiend is a plague unto herself, but few combatants can claim to be as feisty as rxvt! Will this well of energy be enough to combat the sapping effects that have claimed so many, or is a Rapture coming to The Great Arena?

12. Politics versus Bez Busshitsu (Famine)
In a battle that mirrors the struggles of the globe, Politics will do battle with Famine when the Baron of exactly that, Bez Busshitsu, faces off against the third of the fighting faithful in this special exhibition bout! Famine has shown remarkable staying power in a string of battles that have seen the Baron take the power from his enemies. Will Politics negotiate a peaceful resolution, or is a Rapture coming to The Great Arena?

Macho May 29 is the first ever special event, The Rapture and The Madness! A one night only affair that brings together the fans of professional wrestling great "Macho Man" Randy Savage and the fighting faithful who survived a forecast Rapture! A spectacular deviation ahead of June 12 and the coming Pre-Show 8! Stay tuned!

Supercard 7: A Bird's Eye View!

May 22, 2011 -- At Supercard 6, Team Cr0w battled to the last fight to exact supremacy over Team Kron. Led by noted zealot for the Undisputed Championship, Cr0w, they conquered their enemies, and The Great Arena itself. A ruling majority, they exiled the members of Team Kron from The Great Arena, staging a Pre-Show that offered opportunity only to their own ranks. He may have been confronted with the fact that his team was as self-interested as he, but Cr0w was able to curb his "teammates" with the defeat of Mimik.

In a desperate attempt to restore neutrality to the fighting leagues, the powers that be organized the ultimate in free enterprise -- Tournament 5: War for the Kr0wn! It had been intended to end Cr0w's reign, but with Ratt waiting at the end to defend his well earned Undisputed Championship to the winner, the keys to the kingdom had been handed to Cr0w!

As if by destiny, Kron and Cr0w met in the Tournament 5 Final! In this, their sixth encounter, Cr0w once again vanquished his arch-nemesis in a total decimation, going on to defeat Ratt with similar confidence! Undisputed Champion for the second time, winner of the most prestigious tournament in the history of competition, and total victor of Kron; Cr0w has utterly achieved his ultimate goals! With the grandest prize of the Championship in his possession, he has total power over the fighting ranks who now seek him out, but no clear contenders...

From the vantage point of A Bird's Eye View, Cr0w surveys the warriors who intend to take what is currently his. He is a proud Champion, intent on proving his dominance against the very best despite having the power to influence a favourable outcome! With no clear contenders, Cr0w has chosen nine warriors to compete in a way that has never been seen in The Great Arena before! Nine will become three as a single victor qualifies from unique three-way fights, before fighting again in a final three-way clash to determine who will contest the Undisputed Championship!

Ratt, Kron, Genku, ElJobber, Toryn, Shoe, Ninja_Mime, Hokey and TonyTheTiger are the nine Cr0w will watch keenly from his perch at the top of the fighting ranks. In the final match he will face the best of them. The war is over! There is now only Cr0w and everybody else. This is Supercard 7: A Bird's Eye View!...

12. Cr0w d. Kron in a solid Championship defense!
Any hopes of a 'best of seven' victory for Kron went out the window with their clash in the final of Tournament 5, but with the Undisputed Championship on the line, there was certainly every chance he could leave Supercard 7 with the grand prize!

Entering the fray with a 4-2 record advantage; Cr0w still approached with some trepidation. The two-time champion was electric in his Tournament 5 sweep, only the second fighter to win two tournaments, featuring an accumulated total of 190 unsuccessful slots between them, but no doubt mindful of the fact that his as yet defenseless record as Champion came courtesy of Kron at Supercard 1.

Ready to do it one more time, both men came at the fight with a whole lot of power! Few fighters could know each other as well as Kron and Cr0w, and few fighters could have stood up to the force of their battle! With no signs of the mysterious fatigue that sapped Kron in their last meeting, it was anybody's fight in a titanic struggle! Cr0w clearly had momentum on his side from the past few months, but it was much more that carried him to victory in this seventh battle between the two. Having waited over four months for his second reign, Cr0w has matured as a fighter even if he covets the Championship more zealously than ever before! With a strong base and still goals to fight for, Cr0w could not be denied in a conclusive but not-at-all embarassing result, for Kron!

Theirs was a feud that engulfed the entire arena, seeing teams of sixteen drafted into their personal war in a bifurcation of The Great Arena at Supercard 6! When the dust settled, the victor had taken over The Great Arena, even as his team of subordinates plotted against each other. Tournament 5 may have been designed to reset the balance, but seemingly only further extended the epic saga of Cr0w versus Kron. Cr0w leaves Supercard 7 the reigning Undisputed Champion -- a title he won at T5 and could've defended against eight other challengers, but didn't.

In this, the seventh round of Cr0w versus Kron, perhaps Tournament 5 succeeded. As Cr0w moves forward, he will no doubt focus on maintaining the Championship he so obsessively pursued, and Kron? With several opportunities missed, he returns to the long list of contenders who will do their very best to take what Cr0w has earned.

11. Kron d. ElJobber & Ratt to Qualify for Championship match.
Just as he had in the previous qualifying three-way, Kron faced the prospect of being stopped by another former-Champion. Sandwiched between the two well documented friends was ElJobber, the only man vying for the shot who had been there and failed. All respectful acquaintances, the pair faced off in what promised to be a well fought, if expected clash.

Despite his recent credentials, Ratt was the one to suffer the brunt of the break away. "The Iron Man" famously entered Tournament 5 disguised as "Darkrai," despite having the opportunity to avoid competition all together as the defending Champion. Though valiant, it seems Ratt's constant willingness to fight the odds may have gotten the better of him, this time! Staggered by ElJobber, Ratt slipped out of the race while Kron rallied for his first Great Arena encounter with the seasoned star!

With ElJobber putting in the hard work to take out Ratt, Kron was able to prepare a solid assault in this exciting first-time meeting! ElJobber, on the other hand, was showing the effects of his battles, fighting well below his potential against a fighter who once again seemed destined to fight his mortal nemesis for the Undisputed Championship! He was no match for Kron -- the once exiled fighter with an apparent second-chance at glory! Would he be able to turn the tables on the high flying Cr0w, though? Ready to swoop, the bird would willingly find out!

10. DaMo & DeathScepter d. Scott-Howell & Murdoink by the narrowest of margins in close fought blockbuster!
Although DaMo & DeathScepter have only teamed together once in the past -- an unsuccessful clash with Hokey & Ninja_Mime at Supercard 4 -- they are two friends who have earned considerable kudos in The Great Arena for their individual efforts! The bizarre pair made an impressive play for the Fourth Round at Tournament 5, making them a legitimately threatening combination in their return to duo competition against the team everybody knows as the "first team of The Great Arena"!

Scott-Howell & Murdoink have all but assured their place at the top with an impressive 4-1 record, but against the likes of DaMo and DeathScepter, accolades such as these can get a little bit obscured. The bizarre duo were certainly not intimidated by the experience of their opponents, rising to a challenge that was beneath Howell & Murdoink's best, but would have taken down a lesser pair. It may be fair to suggest Howell & Murdoink were a bit lax in their approach to the unusual pair! The win is a major momentum mover for DaMo & DeathScepter, who once again sit on the cusp of the Championship contenders list!

9. Jammer2Omega d. Ghostdragon in a solid win!
One of the heroes of Tournament 5, Jammer2Omega surpassed expectations with his Round 4 berth into the 128-deep field! Having made Ghostdragon his biggest scalp in the Third Round, it was little surprise that when GD came knocking, Cr0w was more than happy to grant another of his "underrated" picks a chance to even the score.

There can be no denying that Ghostdragon has struggled to live up to his potential with a 3-9 record in The Great Arena. J2O, a steady contrast, went deep into Tournament 4, before another impressive showing at T5. The records would seem to speak for themselves as the pair engaged in a very clean, technical affair. While it would be fair to say there wasn't a lot in it, it was once again a very solid result for one of the rising stars of competition, Jammer2Omega!

8. m0s d. STEROLIZER in a comprehensive win.
Once, they stood together, united by the common pursuit of an enemy named Ken. Even when they teamed at Pre-Show 4, though, it was clear that they were not equals. While m0s made waves with a substitute win over Ken at Supercard 3; STEROLIZER is best remembered for his 1 second appearance in Battle Royale 2011 and subsequent string of eight defeats -- or at least he was!

At Supercard 6, STERO began his turn around with a somewhat opportunistic elimination of TonyTheTiger from a twelve-person Battle Royal. Nobody could take the credit away from STERO when he shocked The Great Arena, securing not one, but two victories in Tournament 5, against vaiisekk (R1) and Vultyrex (R2)!

Ever the egotist, STEROLIZER threw just about everything he had at the man that eliminated him in a contested Third Round clash! m0s may have been legitimately challenged in the T5 bout, but had clearly recovered for Supercard 7! No matter how much STERO claimed to have been cheated or wronged, he simply could not rise to a third victory in the end, going down in a comprehensive defeat.

7. MINION d. Onryo in a close fought result.
An unlikely pair to feature into the Fourth Round of Tournament 5; MINION and Onryo were eliminated by bottom-bracket dominators, ElJobber and Cr0w! With an opportunity to bounce back from modest defeats at T5, the pair proposed another curious combination for Cr0w's Supercard competition.

In battle, the pair seemed to fight in reverse tiers, with Onryo a little less than he has been capable of in the clash. MINION once again exceeded expectations of him, putting together a performance that not only propelled him beyond his station, but earned an impressive close fought result from Onryo!

6. CaTigeReptile (#16) d. Pink_Ranger (#6) to win Battle Royal!
It all began with a Battle Royal at Supercard 4, where CaTigeReptile surprised everyone when she targetted fellow fighting femmes, GuiltyByDesign and kororaa in back-to-back eliminations early in the fight. With the defeat of GBD at Pre-Show 7 only adding fuel to the fire, Cr0w provides terms to end in-fighting within The Great Arena sisterhood that bring the feud full circle -- a Battle Royal!

NovaStarr (#1) and Dolce (#2) started things off with a gusto that proved they were ready to fight -- but not in the name of a peaceful resolution! It seemed a brand new feud was about to break out as the pair set about trading blows! The arrival of LadyRaiden (#3), Kairyu (#4) and kororaa (#5) forced separation, opening the competition up to a fierce fought, evenly matched melee! If a resolution was the goal of this Battle Royal, it officially went out the window after the first five seconds!

With no eliminations, the comlpexion of the match shifted as Pink_Ranger (#6) arrived to challenge the field. Dolce attempted to cut PR off in her entrance, but was no match from the woman described by Cr0w as one of the most underrated fighters in the league! She continued to dominate the likes of LadyRaiden and lita83 (#7), but was surprisingly overshadowed by a first-time arrival called Shizuma (#8)!

Shizuma proved to be a surprise package, dominating Kairyu and kororra, who found herself double-team by she and lita83! The first eliminations came back to back as Dolce and NovaStarr went out in the reverse order they came in, take care of by LadyRaiden and Shizuma! Shizuma continued to be a dominant fixture while Pink_Ranger proved quiet in the early goings. Not as quite as GuiltyByDesign (#9), who went almost unnoticed for the majority of her fight, despite being one of the igniting factors in this massive woman's war! GBD was likely steering clear of CaTigeReptile (#16), who entered with immediate impact, repelling the amubsh of a debuting Angelia (#13)!

Twenty-four minutes since the second elimination, a third finally came when Kiara85 took out LadyRaiden! It only took CaTigeReptile a minute to add to it, sending kororaa packing, before charging through the pack to return fire to Angelia. Pink_Ranger intervened, singling CTR out for an attack that quickly ignited as a fight to watch! While lita83, Kiara85, Celeste (#18) and tabmok99s_wife (#17) appeared deadlocked; CTR, Pink_Ranger and Shizuma continued to dominate the rest of the all-present field! After thirty-five minutes, the eliminations began to open up once again. One by one the pack was thinned by this dominant trio, CaTigeReptile reprising her role as chief eliminator of her fellow women!

After a gruelling battle it finally came down to a final four with jess (#10) in the precarious position! After Pink_Ranger absolutely dominated jess, CaTigeReptile was able to eliminate her with ease in the forty-sixth minute! Pink_Ranger had no time to be offended as CTR wasted no time turning her attentions to her primary rival! The upstart of the battle, Shizuma, was left to dust as CTR and PR went tooth and nail! CaTigeReptile had all the best of it, unleashing a string of thunderous blows that would have taken out any lesser woman -- or man!

Pink_Ranger sought a reprieve, a rallying point, by turning on Shizuma. The fatigued surprise package couldn't compete with even the weakened Pink_Ranger, but the momentum simlpy wasn't there for PR to build a convincing comeback! CTR continued her barrage on PR, only to be surprised by a direct hit from Shizuma! It was the last uprising of the Battle Royal's surprise hero -- CTR eliminating her in response with a knock-out blow! With seven eliminations under her belt, CaTigeReptile made it a round eight, taking out Pink_Ranger in an exciting, if conclusive, end to the fight.

With Pink_Ranger enduring fifty minutes and twenty-six seconds, she joins the list of impressive Battle Royal endurance competitors -- and will no doubt endure to continue what is likely to become a more compelling feud than the firey fights that started this whole affair!

5. Chiefin d. Chewwi.
It was the upset that started everyone sweating! Round 2 of Tournament 5 was only Chiefin's second career match, but in a result nobody could have predicted, he felled seasoned star of The Great Arena, Ken, in a close fought battle! Without the same scale of upset, Chewwi produced a surprising debut, enduring into the Third Round and the annals of history!

With a chance to do it all over again, the two debuting dynamoes entered into a seemingly even-matched affair, but with his impressive upset credentials, it probably wasn't surprising that Chiefin looked the stronger of the two! Far from a runaway, the match proved elementary in its simplicity, a three act encounter with a beginning, middle, and end that did not shock, or amaze. Never the less, it remains consistent with Chiefin's prerogative to be an x-factor for competition in the future, another solid victory.

4. Kron d. Genku & Toryn in a Qualifier.
Considered far and away the most compelling combination arranged in the randomly drawn qualifying three-ways, this clash posed an interesting range of possibilities with two former champions, Kron and Toryn, meeting in a triangle with Tournament 1 winner and Supercard 6 Championship challenger, Genku!

With a history of under performing, Kron had to be nervous going in to a mix with the man who took his title at Supercard 3! Kron overcame his demons in a blockbuster Round 3 test during Tournament 5, but was was probably still quite grateful when Genku took the fight to Toryn, leaving him a shabby third wheel to the qualifying three-way. With the odds improved, Kron turned on a near full strength performance, a steady contrast to his defeat in the Tournament 5 Final! A fatiguing Genku could only rue another missed opportunity!

3. ElJobber d. Ninja_Mime & Shoe in a Qualifier.
Events in the past week saw Shoe go from a promising T5 Semi Finalist contender to one of the most hated men in The Great Arena! Controversially allowed to continue to compete after killing Mimik and The_Purple_Bunny in battles outside The Great Arena, the exploitative fighter had a clear mark on his back going into a match with burgeoning contender, ElJobber, and Tournament 5 Quarter Final hero, Ninja_Mime!

Ninja_Mime wasted no time getting payback for his dead pal Mimik, unleashing an annihilating +19 impact on the Tournament 5 number four seed! Shoe had absolutely no chance in the lopsided struggle, conceding early as Mime faced daunting odds against ElJobber. ElJobber, who has a 1-1 record against Cr0w after a loss in the Quarter Finals of T5, proved too strong for the darkhorse contender. A +3 impact couldn't dampen Ninja_Mime's spirits, though. He may not have won, but in the eyes of many, he certainly wasn't the loser.

2. Ratt d. TonyTheTiger & Hokey in a Qualifier.
With a shot at the Undisputed Championship waiting at the end of the night, this first of four three-way battles made for a more official beginning to Supercard 7! Featuring former-champion, Ratt, this trio had a lot of eyes watching as they entered the fray, not the least of which were Cr0w's! No one could forget Supercard 5: The Tower of Power, where Ratt defeated Cr0w in the beginning of the run that earned him the Undisputed Championship!

Hokey was disappointing in his performance, continuing the reversal of fortunes that saw him bow out uncharacteristically early in the Tournament 5 Third Round. TonyTheTiger proved an insurmountable challenge for Hokey, whose success of late has come primarily from his partnership with fellow three-way qualifier, Ninja_Mime! TonyTheTiger was able to turn that momentum into a legitimate challenge against the former champion, but Ratt, despite fatiguing over the course of the three-way struggle, was still able to exert a comprehensive win from the scramble.

1. RobertCop d. RantKid for disrupting the peace.
In a surprise appearance, RantKid entered The Great Arena ahead of proceedings, demanding the attention of the entire fighting community and audience. Despite a modest career to date -- which included a First Round elimination from Tournament 5, by Chewwi, his third overall (no wins) -- the young combatant unleashed a ranting tirade about the unfairness he was being treated with. He proclaimed that he deserved to be in the spotlight more than any of the names constantly reappearing in Championship contention.

RobertCop entered The Great Arena to end the madness! Despite being kind enough to subdue RantKid with a 0 impact, he removed the disturbance in a way only RobertCop can. The appearance marks a rare return to The Great Arena for RobertCop, whose protocols appear to remain in tact, despite his apparent reprogramming some time ago after a brief disappearance. The crowd was grateful for his intervention, which included a customary ultimatum of "conundrum".

With the legacy of Team Cr0w vs Team Kron finally dissipating, and a variety of new challengers emerging from Tournament 5 and Supercard 7, there is a whole lot of energy flying around The Great Arena! After steering the course of the entire event, Cr0w successfully defended the Undisputed Championship and seemingly put an end to his feud with Kron! The invention of a new match type -- the three-way battle -- opens up new dimensions in the contenders race as unlucky competitors begin to line-up for a second shot. The Great Arena is alive with the sound of combat and everyone is invited!

The Great Arena says goodbye to two of its rising stars, The_Purple_Bunny and Mimik. A disappointing turn of events cut short TPB's momentum filled return, while Mimik misses out on the Championship opportunity he was all but assured. Shoe, who has met opportunity with a lot of preparation, emerges from the incident as a T5 Semi Finalist and Public Enemy #1! Ninja_Mime gave Shoe what-for in their three-way tie, which also saw ElJobber reaffirm his claim to a shot at the big time. Ratt was the other three-way near miss, the man to beat as Kron exits the race after several tries.

A new breed of fighters begins to emerge through the ranks, the likes of; Jammer2Omega, CaTigeReptile, Pink_Ranger, SubMan799, Casselman, Shizuma, and Chiefin! Fists are flying and competition for the Unofficial Top Ten Ranks is only going to contine to heat up!

Where does the action go from here? With inifinite realms of possibility and nothing certain, you'll have to stay tuned to find out what's coming June 12 when The Great Arena hosts an exciting Pre-Show 8, before the action escalates June 19 for Supercard 8!

Schedule: The Bird's Eye View on Supercard 7!

Victory at Supercard 6 earned Team Cr0w domination over The Great Arena. As a ruling majority they rendered Team Kron exiled from The Great Arena, but Pre-Show 7 showed that theirs was a mutual pursuit of glory. The powers that be announced Tournament 5 in an attempt to restore order and neutrality to competition, but destiny clearly had other ideas in mind...

A grueling affair for one hundred and twenty-eight competitors, Tournament 5 saw Cr0w fight his way through the field to come face to face with the arch-rival that began it all -- Kron in the grand finale! For the second consecutive occasion, Cr0w turned the tables on Kron, decimating him like never before. After the seventh round, a showdown with Undisputed Champion Ratt awaited and Cr0w, who finally returned to the pinnacle of competition with his second reign as Undisputed Champion after winning his second tournament!

With his ultimate goals achieved and all the power now in his hands, Cr0w has not shied away from defending his Undisputed Championship a mere week after winning it! The contender stakes have become more uncertain than ever before, however. With all the major contenders suffering losses before and during Tournament 5, no clear competitor stands ready to challenge Cr0w's reign.

Former-champion, Ratt, succumbed to defeat twice at Tournament 5 due to his entry disguised as Darkrai, against Cr0w and Kron. Mimik stumbled against Cr0w at Pre-Show 7, before losing to Kron in T5 and being killed outside The Great Arena in a shock battle to the death with Shoe! ElJobber lost to Genku at PS7 and Cr0w in T5. Toryn stumbled against ElJobber at SC6 and went down to Kron at T5. Genku lost his title match against Ratt at SC6, and again against Ratt (as Darkrai) during T5. Kron was defeated by Cr0w at both SC6 and T5.

To rectify the situation, Cr0w now uses his powers as ruling Undisputed Champion to implement the ultimate solution. To ensure a truly worthy contender emerges from the field of many, he institutes an entirely new concept -- the three way match! Not only will three competitors fight for the right to face him, but this will happen in four seperate matches, whittling down a field of nine qualifying fighters to just one! Who will earn the right to face the champion in mortal combat?...

1. Cr0w versus Qualifier To Be Advised (Championship match)
Winners of the three-way qualifying matches will meet in one final triple threat scenario, that winner going on to have a solo encounter with reigning champion, Cr0w! His eyes fixed to the arena, Cr0w will descend on a contender of his own making to close out Supercard 7 with a customary title defense. Will this confident and imposing figure continue to enforce his will over The Great Arena, or will his self-proclaimed courage be his undoing? Time will tell!

2. Qualifier 1 vs Qualifier 2 vs Qualifier 3
Winners of the unique three-way matches will enter into a sudden death scenario in their pursuit to qualify for contender status. The gruelling path to victory promises to weed out only the strongest, most worthy competitor in the field of nine, but will this extensive process wear out a would-be challenger, or hone them to perfection? Cr0w will be waiting to meet the challenge of the best of the nine in the main event clash for the covetted Undisputed Championship!

3. Kron vs Genku vs Toryn (Qualifier 1)
The final of Tournament 5 may have seemed destined to occur, but many failed to predict the fateful end. Kron had a shot at evening his rivalry against Cr0w, but fell well short of his goal in the epic final. Now, with another chance at the title on the line, Kron enters as a heavy favorite, motivated to secure his return from exile and finally score another victory in his on-going war with Cr0w. To do it, Kron will have to survive an onslaught of nemeses!

Toryn, another former champion, will be looking to avenge his loss to Kron in Tournament 5 and remind him of the decimation at Supercard 3 that cost Kron the Championship. Meanwhile, Genku watches quietly as the darkhorse of the match. With a renewed lust for life and the Championship he failed to capture at Supercard 6, the man formerly driven mad by Kron will now seek to turn the tables! Feeling he was unjustly eliminated by a diguised Ratt in Tournament 5, Genku has plenty to prove to the Grand Arena and to himself!

4. Shoe vs ElJobber vs Ninja_Mime (Qualifier 2)
ElJobber enters this contest as a heavy favorite, the only fighter to know how it feels to contest the Championship! ElJobber will use his experience and desire to overpower his opponents in an effort to meet Cr0w in a rematch of their T5 Quarter Final, a chance to end a 1-1 tie in combat history! Ninja_Mime, known from his recent successes as a tandem competitor, will have beef moving forward as he chases a Quarter Final rematch against Kron, before challenging for the Undisputed Championship for the first time! One of the heroes of Tournament 5, he also faces the possibility of extending his success into a clash with duo partner, Hokey!

A late, third wheel addition, Shoe enters this battle with a target on his back. One of the most reviled figures for his shock battles to the death that claimed The_Purple_Bunny and Mimik, who knows what his intentions will be when he returns to The Great Arena with a rematch against Cr0w on the line!

5. TonyTheTiger vs Ratt vs Hokey (Qualifier 3)
Once a rising contender, TonyTheTiger has left the spotlight after a string of near misses. Granted this opportunity by Cr0w, TTT will need to take full charge of his destiny to steady his ship for the storm ahead. Former champion Ratt will provide that storm as he attempts to return to the top and reclaim the Championship. Though he must battle through many obstacles to qualify as contender once more, the "Iron Man" Ratt would not have it any other way! Hokey, whose success in tournaments has often baffled critics, is Ninja_Mime's tag team partner. Their success has helped spur them as solo competitors, and though their friendship and team will undoutably continue beyond this event, one must wonder what would occur should both win their matches and meet in the fourth and final three-way qualifier! Friendships will possibly have to take a seat as a shot for the crown hangs in the balance!

6. DaMo & DeathScepter vs Scott-Howell & Murdoink
With resident duo powerhouse Hokey & Ninja_Mime battling toward a solo shot at the Undisputed Championship; DaMo & DeathScepter have reemerged to make their claim as tandem dominators! Issuing a challenge to the successful and seasoned team of Scott-Howell & Murdoink is bold move for the bizarre ones, who have enjoyed singles success, for the most part! It promises to be a collision of combustible elements as the tandem division continues to establish itself!

7. Ghostdragon versus Jammer2Omega
Ghostdragon has garnered favor from Cr0w since his coup over proceedings in The Great Arena, heralding him as one of the most underrated competitors in The Great Arena. Despite this, GD continues to struggle to make believers of the rest of the fighting ranks. Early elimination from Tournament 5 left Ghostdragon's reputation a little under done, leading Cr0w to endorse a rematch of the Third Round confrontation between he and the overachieving workhorse, Jammer2Omega! Jammer, a rising star and possibly underrated fighter in his own right, will look to win the favor of the Champion to show just who really deserves a shot at the big time!

8. STEROLIZER versus m0s
Once a laughing stock of the arena, the man known as STEROLIZER began his turn around at Supercard 6, where he managed an opportunistic elimination of TonyTheTiger during the twelve-person Battle Royal. Though not technically a win, he soon rectified a blank winning sheet with two shock victories in Tournament 5 against vaiisekk and Vultyrex! As if he didn't have ego enough already, breaking his losing streak has given STERO the sense that he can accomplish anything! Exiting the tournament in a close contest against m0s, STEROLIZER has challenged m0s to a rematch! Once acquaintances in the pursuit of mutual rival, Ken, the Pre-Show 4 partners now collide in a Second Act clash!

9. 18-Woman Battle Royal
Featuring: Pink_Ranger, GuiltyByDesign, CaTigeReptile, NovaStarr, LadyRaiden, tabmok99s_wife, Kairyu, Shizuma, Dolce, Kororaa, Cherri, Celeste, lita83, xxxsuicide-kittiexxx, KittyKat, Angelia, Kiara85 & jess.
In a match full endorsed by Cr0w, who stresses pure motivations and not just personal pleasures; the ladies of The Great Arena will do combat in an elimination Battle Royal to name the true queen of the ring! Tensions within the sisterhood began at Supercard 4, when CaTigeReptile targetted GuiltyByDesign and kororaa in her breakout performance. The battle of a single sex spread at Tournament 5, where the First Round saw Pink_Ranger eliminate lita83 and jess defeated Kiara85!

Praised since her selection during Supercard 6, Pink_Ranger made an early exit from T5, meeting Cr0w in the Second Round. She comes into the Battle Royal a favourite, but with CaTigeReptile ready to prove once and for all that she is the Queen Bee of the arena after making the Quarter Final stages of T5! The "fairer sex" will be truly tested in this ultimate eighteen-woman Battle Royal!

10. MINION versus Onryo
Amidst the blockbuster battles and main event eliminations, several fighters went unnoticed as they exceeded all expectation in their participation in the War for the Kr0wn! MINION, a relatively quiet figure in the arena, won a surprising number of close fought battles before finally exiting in the Fourth Round up against ElJobber. Onryo walked a similar path, battling his way to an upstart showing in the Fourth Round, before being bundled out by Cr0w. Clearly recognised for their feats in the winner's half of Tournament 5, these two now go head-to-head in an old fashioned fight to determine survival of the fittest!

11. Chiefin versus Chewwi
Making his debut at Tournament 5, Chiefin shocked The Great Arena with his Second Round upset victory over Ken! Chiefin met his end quickly in Round 3, but has captured the imagination of Cr0w and many others! While not as impressive in her rise to the Third Round, Chewwi certainly exceeded any expectations in her debut in competition, as well! It'll be a test for both when they meet at Supercard 7!

May 22 -- Supercard 7: A Bird's Eye View is the legacy of Cr0w's rise to power at Supercard 6! Successful in reclaiming the Undisputed Championship he so desperately sought, Cr0w now exercises the supreme control that has come with the top prize! There is no more need for exiles as Cr0w sits perched, ready to swoop on any contender worthy to face him. Will this be the gallant act of a new Champion, or the dizzy madness of a power absolute? Find out right here, May 22!

News: Mimik & The_Purple_Bunny - Dead!

It seemed to come out of the blue, but for those close to the situation, it was an eventuality many expected. With Tournament 5 completed and a result rendered, Shoe resumed a zealous campaign to improve his standing within the fighting ranks. This pursuit, often founded in short cuts, earned repeat glances with powerhouse overlord, Lord Mislukking, who has been a looming presence in the wake of controversy sparked by Toryn and a similar exploitative rampage through the dark lord's minion ranks way back in January, during Tournament 1.

In a surprise act of goodwill, recently crowned champion and Tournament 5 Semi Final opponent, Cr0w, attempted to sway Shoe from his course. The gesture fell on deaf ears, but did allow Shoe to turn his efforts toward others in the fighting ranks. Two extensive battles to the death were the result, Mimik and The_Purple_Bunny the shocking victims!

Mimik had been one of the rising stars of The Great Arena and a rival, somewhat, to Shoe, who was the T4 victor in the shadow of Mimik's more acclaimed Tournament 3 victory. After dominating the ranks in a twelve-person Battle Royal at Supercard 6, Mimik was seemingly on the fast track to a future Undisputed Championship match, until he hit a stumbling block in Tournament 5 against power house player, Kron, in a blockbuster Second Round clash of titans. It was likely this, and other marathon successes [such as a stellar performance in The Tower of Power], that contributed to Mimik's death in combat.

The_Purple_Bunny was another promising rising name in the ranks, enjoying the success of reaching the Quarter Final stages of Tournament 5! TPB is no stranger to death, succumbing to similar extra-arena action in a shock twist prior to Supercard 3, in March. He made his triumphant return to the living at Supercard 4 in a mass resurrection, continuing on to The Tower of Power, where he first formed bitter ties with Shoe.

It is unknown if Shoe was motivated by malice toward these fighters in particular, with whom he shared a history, or if it was an extention of simple exploitative malice. This isn't the first time we've seen fighters go down this track. Genku rather infamously threw himself on the whims of Lord Mislukking after a string of extra-arena attacks, leading to his return as a Revenant minion at Supercard 3.

It was only by the intervention of representatives of The Union of The Human League that Shoe's attacks were stopped. At the time, they were still being actively directed toward fan-favourite stalwart of competition, Hokey! Despite the heinous assault and pattern of unsporting conduct, some feel Shoe's actions were not sufficiently criminal to eliminate from competition all together. What ever the out come, his career in The Great Arena, which only began with a debut at Pre-Show 4 with that debut win of Tournament 4, is likely over.

Heading in to Supercard 7, May 22, everyone no doubt prays for a resurrection for Mimik and The_Purple_Bunny. They were fighters taken before their time.

Tournament 5: War for the Kr0wn - The Finals!

Tournament 5 -- the second time one hundred and twenty-eight slots were offered to the fighters of The Great Arena, but the first time they were all filled. It was to be the grand equalizer, an initiative to restore order and honor to a realm divided by a coup of domination staged by Team Cr0w at Supercard 6!

Team Kron may have returned to The Great Arena after being exiled during Pre-Show 7, but few honestly believed their spiritual leader, Kron, could once again challenge his arch-nemesis Cr0w in this monumental War for the Kr0wn! Fate had different ideas...

The four former tournament winners were gathered as posts around which a random draw of one hundred and twenty-four other fighters were assembled. Mimik [#3] was the first to fall in a violent Round 2 blockbuster against Kron. Genku [#1] went next, suffering a Round 4 upset loss to unknown quantity, Darkrai! This bold elimination of powers sets up an incredible Semi Final clash between the old and new, Kron and Darkrai.

The remaining seeds, Cr0w [#2] and Shoe [#4], survive the trials of a mixed field to validate the accolades of their former glory. They too represent the struggle of the old and new -- Cr0w, the very first Undisputed Champion on record; Shoe, a relative newcomer fighting into new depths.

Fighters have come and gone, stars broken and made. Ken the first big casualty in a fight against Chiefin! SubMan799 a fighter who came of age far sooner than he was ready! STEROLIZER, the dunce who threatened to upset the equilibrium of everything we thought we knew! Ninja_Mime a silent assassin who fought beyond his traditionally fortunate partner, Hokey.

One hundred and twenty-eight become four. A Semi Final that leads immediately to the ultimate clash and true War for the Kr0wn! On the line is the right to challenge the Undisputed Champion, Ratt, but also the glory of dominating the biggest tournament in the history of The Great Arena! Destiny beckons the storied rivals with whom this all started, eternity promises incredible things to two new fighters! This is the conclusion of Tournament 5!

Semi Final Results:
1. Kron defeated Darkrai in a +3 decimation!
Returning from exile, Kron had everything to fight for in this War for the Kr0wn! Many said it couldn't happen, but destiny clearly had a vision of the ultimate grand finale for Kron and his looming arch-nemesis, in mind. Darkrai, mysterious surprise package of this tournament, faced overwhelming odds against the former-champion, but clearly displayed the potential to beat them in his shocking impact decimations of KombatKid, BoringErik, and The_Purple_Bunny, to say nothing of a blockbuster nail biter against Genku in the Fourth Round!

The two fighters entered The Great Arena with all their powers at the ready, which could only mean one result. Kron was the victor in a hard fought but unquestionable decimation of his mysterious masked opponent. The mystery was about to be solved, however, and the past made sense of when Darkrai revealed himself to in fact be the Undisputed Champion himself, Ratt!

Ratt was gracious in defeat, congratulating Kron on his bold victory.
"The Iron Man" Ratt, who was supposed to have remained neutral until a tournament winner was named, revealed that he simply could not stand idly by while the challenge of proving a true champion was under way. For Ratt, this was never about the eventuality of a Championship match, but rather, about rising to the occasion of the biggest tournament in the history of The Great Arena, which was conceived not only to restore balance and create a title match, but to offer a far bigger accolade to the entire roster of fighters. Though this result would be a non-title conclusion, Ratt promised that if Kron could win Tournament 5, he would gladly accept the challenge of a well earned contender that he could respect.

2. Cr0w [#2] defeated Shoe [#4] in a conclusive victory!
Despite fighting through the most consistent list of noteworthy competitors, speculation about Shoe's readiness to face the top ranks had followed him to this, the Semi Final. Few challenges could be rated higher than Cr0w -- the original Undisputed Champion and one of the most powerful figures in The Great Arena, quite literally after the Supercard 6 team victory that granted him the power to reject whomever he wished!

Perhaps it was courtesy for a teammate, or perhaps his Quarter Final clash with ElJobber took the sting out of Cr0w's strike. Regardless, there could be no confusion about who was the dominant force, even if Shoe was allowed to live another day. The impact was minimum, but the power unleashed was devastating! An ominous sign moving into the most important fight of the entire round!

To reach this stage, Kron had to defeat: Poasty (R1), Mimik [#3] (R2), Toryn (R3), SubMan799 (R4), Ninja_Mime (QF), and Ratt.
To reach this stage, Cr0w had to defeat: Bronzie (R1), Pink_Ranger (R2), Chewwi (R3), Onryo (R4), ElJobber (QF), and Shoe [#4].

Tournament 5 Final Result:
1. Cr0w [#2] defeated Kron in a +6 total decimation!
There's is a tale that seems destined to be repeated time and time again. No feud has been fought more times than that of Kron and Cr0w! Their first encounter came in the final of Tournament 2, where Cr0w was crowned the first Undisputed Champion! Kron took the title and kept it in their next two bouts at Supercard 1 and Supercard 2. The Tower of Power gave Cr0w the chance to even the score, before claiming superiority at Supercard 6, where his team earned the majority share of The Great Arena!

With a 3-2 deficit, chance to win back the Undisputed Championship, and a chance to return from exile; Kron was fighting with everything to win, nothing to lose. Alas; the trials of the biggest tournament in the history of competition were to take their toll on both men. Neither rival was able to perform at his utmost peak, but it was Cr0w who remained a respectable competitor, while Kron crumbled under the weight of a fatigue many expected to claim one of these two big names sooner. In truth, any fighter could've beaten Kron in this final clash, but no fighter could have robbed Cr0w the right to be the last man standing!

As the Champion reminded us, this was indeed a War for the Kr0wn, but it was also a contest far bigger than even that prestigious title. Tournament 5 was the biggest test The Great Arena has ever seen, offered to an unprecedented one hundred and twenty-eight fighters! With his victory, Cr0w earns the right to challenge for the Undisputed Championship, but more to the point, he stakes his claim as the winner of the biggest tournament in history!

It was at the conclusion of Tournament 2: Quest for a Champion that the first Undisputed Champion was crowned. January 11, 2011 is a date that forever belongs to Cr0w, winner of that momentous occasion! April 17, 2011 was four long months later, and after two Championship exchanges, Ratt was the destined favourite to finally claim his reign as Undisputed Champion after winning the Tower of Power! Both men have made history, now they converge as the original and the most recent, to close this chapter in the neverending struggle that is the War for the Kr0wn...

Undisputed Championship Match:
1. Cr0w defeated Ratt in a decimation of the Champion!
It had been thought that there could be an unfair advantage of freshness for the Undisputed Champion at the end of this long, hard fought tournament. By entering as Darkrai, Ratt proved himself to be the fighting champion, the "Iron Man" that the people know and love! Even so, after experiencing seven epic fights, including a lull in the grand final, Cr0w would still seemingly be up agaisnt it coming in to his Championship fight.

Indeed, Cr0w was far from his maximum, but even then he remains one of the most powerful figures in The Great Arena. Renewed by his lust for the title, Cr0w rallied his strength! "The Iron Man" Ratt is famous for overcoming such obstacles, but just as he had during the Semi Final, the Champion faultered in the most crucial moment of his massive campaign. It was a respectable battle, one that saw Ratt defend himself to a mild +2 impact from the zealous challenger, but in the end Cr0w simply wanted it too much to be stopped! Making history once more, he becomes the first ever two-time Undisputed Champion, and the first-ever two-time tournament winner!

Tournament 5 was to restore purity and order to competition in The Great Arena. Having claimed the Undisputed Championship he so desperately sought, Cr0w has arguably amassed more power than ever before, but with that desire satiated, order may indeed have been restored. The truth of the matter remains to be determined as Supercard 7 looms with no matches determined for the May 22 date. Stay tuned to find out what unfolds as we count down to another exciting event!

Tournament 5: War for the Kr0wn - QF!

It is the biggest battle in the history of The Great Arena! Conceived to restore order and balance to the competitive ranks, Tournament 5 defied the coup staged by Team Cr0w to return the fighters of Team Kron to the grand stage after their exile via Supercard 6. It was to be a new beginning, the ultimate test to determine the greatest fighter of them all! Instead, fate would have it that this War for the Kr0wn has become yet another chapter in a saga that has run as long as organized competition itself!

Each of the eight Quarter Finalists make a compelling case for glory, but only four can contend a right to fight in the Semi Finals. Kron and Cr0w fight in opposite halves of the draw, the unstoppable force and immovable object, fierce and ancient rivals destined to meet in the end. Can any fighter hope to challenge them?...

ElJobber, the man with the record and winner of Battle Royale 2011; Darkrai, hard hitting mystery man with an incredible power; Ninja_Mime, the dark horse fighting silently through the ranks; Shoe, seeded Tournament 4 winner with everything to prove; The_Purple_Bunny, born-again fighter with momentum behind him; CaTigeReptile, rising star fighting tooth and nail toward victory!

Quarter Final Results:
1. Darkrai defeated The_Purple_Bunny in a +4 decimation!
He has been one of the surprise packages of the tournament -- a debut like no other, with decimations that defy belief, and an enthusiasm for honorable combat rivalled by only one other fighter in The Great Arena! Darkrai proved he was the real deal in Round 4 by eliminating #1 seed, Genku, but with many comparing him to the Undisputed Champion, Darkrai has a lot to live up to as the tournament enters its final stages!

The_Purple_Bunny has been riding high since Supercard 4, but a dream run to the finals was one wish too far! The awesome might of the masked marvel known as Darkrai proved too much for TPB, who struggled to perform at full power at this late stage. Darkrai books himself a Semi Final -- unbelievable for a fighter who made his debut in this War for the Kr0wn! Could he be the first man to win the Undisputed Championship in his first event? A shot against Ratt is certainly a tantalizing possibility for this fast rising phenom!

2. Kron defeated Ninja_Mime in a +6 decimation!
Ninja_Mime had a lot of hope riding behind him in this impressive run into the finals, but an upset victory against a major player was just beyond his grasp. Kron may have entered Tournament 5 as an exile, but his return to The Great Arena after losing at Supercard 6 has made him a hot favourite to win the War for the Kr0wn!

Confident victories over Mimik [#3] and Toryn in Round 2 and Round 3 have made Kron the man to beat! Has this hard road to the final sharpened his skills, or expended his energy as he comes back from a crushing overall defeat in his series against Cr0w? It is a question that seems almost destined to be answered as these two super-powers -- who have fought so often -- converge on the final.

3. Shoe [#4] defeated CaTigeReptile in a solid win.
Shoe may be the number four seed in this grand 128-slot tournament, but with limited history in The Great Arena, his longevity remains under question from many-a commentator. His run has been far from easy, a draw of victories against name fighters in every stage; NovaStarr (R1), Casselman (R2), Scott-Howell (R3), and DaMo (R4), and now CaTigeReptile -- a competitor who is making a name for herself as one of the hot new challengers, but failed to gain the credibility of overcoming a former tournament winner.

With one of the most consistent draws of opponents in the field, Shoe has certainly fought a credible tournament, but with Cr0w [#4] and ElJobber duking it out for a Semi Final berth, Shoe remains an untested factor when it comes to the major leagues. Will Tournament 5 be the sequel to his T4 victory and securing chapter in his legend, or a bitter Second Act in a rise to the top?

4. Cr0w [#2] defeated ElJobber in a +3 decimation!
In their only official previous encounter, ElJobber was the better man, coming out of Supercard 3 the victor ahead of his Championship match at Supercard 4. The 2011 Battle Royale winner was unsuccessful there, just as he was unsuccessful in going 2-0 against the man who made him the #1 draft pick at Supercard 6!

Cr0w's +3 impact may have been a modest conclusion when compared to the other Quarter Final fights, but left ElJobber absolutely rocked in a fight that never looked like having another result! If Kron had made a statement in his Round 4 slaying of SubMan799, Cr0w was responding to it, decimating an ElJobber that could have beaten many other top competitors with his efforts, but paled in comparison to the power demonstrated by Cr0w!

With competition mounting in the Quarter Final, Kron fights with flash, emerging the hitman of the round with a relative +6 big impact on Ninja_Mime. At the other end of the scale, Cr0w [#3] leaves ElJobber to think about his loss, forgiving in punishment but total in domination over his opponent! As this War for the Kr0wn whittles the competition away, it seems more and more as if fate has a finger pointed toward the two men who prompted Tournament 5's creation!

The new and untested are all that stands between a rematch of the most storied epic in The Great Arena. Darkrai and Shoe [#4] have a steep hill to climb in their attempt to reach the greatness of winning a 128-slot elimination tournament, all the while Ratt watches from the vantage of the Undisputed Champion! One of these four will face him in mortal combat -- who will it be?! The answer -- tomorrow!

Semi Final Bracket Match-Up Preview:
1. Darkrai versus Kron
Giant killers both, Darkrai and Kron enter the Semi Final with victories over two seeded former tournament winners, Genku and Mimik! Kron is the former champion returning from exile to reclaim his place in The Great Arena, while Darkrai is the mysterious marked marvel amazing the crowd in his first incredible run. Darkrai has been compared to the champion, while Kron has fought in his name as a friend. Only one will earn a place in the grand final, with an opportunity to face Ratt for the Undisputed Championship! Will one of these two be victor in this War for the Kr0wn?

2. Shoe [#4] versus Cr0w [#2]
The winners of Tournament 2 and Tournament 4, Shoe and Cr0w have a lot in common, yet enter the Semi Final with very different perspectives. Cr0w was the historic first-ever Undisputed Champion, while Shoe is the newcomer with a story yet to be told. One watches the reigning Champion with envious eyes, while the other is content to play the game at its lowest levels. Only one will earn a place in the grand final, with an opportunity to face Ratt for the Undisputed Championship! Will one of these two be victory in this War for the Kr0wn?

Tournament 5: War for the Kr0wn - Round 4!

This War for the Kr0wn was declared in the aftermath of a clash between Team Cr0w and Team Kron! With the latter exiled from The Great Arena by their defeat at Supercard 6, the 'powers that be' can find only one way to restore balance and purity to competition seized by a Cr0w-led coup!

Tournament 5 began with one hundred and twenty-eight competitors in the biggest battle in the history of organized competition. The fourth stage marks the arrival of the Round of Sixteen, a pestigious bracket boasting some of the biggest names in the league fighting for the glorious claim of Tournament 5 winner, and rightful challenger to the Undisputed Champion, Ratt! With everything to fight for, these names and a dozen more collide with an end to the War for the Kr0wn now in sight!

Toryn, Hokey, TonyTheTiger, and Scott-Howell are among the big names shed from Round 3. With the weight of a Quarter Final berth on the horizon, Cr0w and Kron lead the charge in a storybook convergence that seems too appropriate to be true! Waiting to uspet them are the likes of ElJobber -- a man who tasted glory and missed it by a narrow margin, as well as mysterious new opponents, like Darkrai -- a surprise competitor who has drawn comparisons to the current Champion!

Round 4 Results:
1. Darkrai defeated Genku [#1] in a close fought blockbuster!
With an enthusiasm and power that has drawn comparisons to Ratt -- Darkrai made for a scintillating match-up against the recently revived Genku! Genku's feud with the current Undisputed Champion dates back to Supercard 3: The Long Hard Road and culminated in a surprise heel turn that followed Ratt and his brief union as a neutral party at Supercard 6, gaining revenge against Genku's oppressors, the Barons of Famine and Pestilence!

Seeded first as a result of his victory in the last 128-slot tournament (T1), Genku has bounced back from his life as a Revenant slave of Sinvida Von Grimm to be one of the major challengers in the War for the Kr0wn! Just as he had at Supercard 6, however, Genku came up short. It was an absolute nailbiting blockbuster as these two went head to head, but the mysterious masked man known as Darkrai had the edge when he needed it most! The result proves a shock dismissal of another seeded fighter, and sets Darkrai up as an overnight contender in his career debut!

2. The_Purple_Bunny d. Jammer2Omega in a decimation.
Jammer2Omega has been making strides since his debut in April, notably performing strong in Tournament 4 with wins over CCShadow and ScottK. Few momentum streams could compare to The_Purple_Bunny's, however, which saw a miraculous return at Supercard 4 interrupted slightly by a roadblock in The Tower of Power. Despite the hiccup, that extra experience and momentum proved to be the edge for TPB, as J2O walked in to a powerful +4 decimation in the biggest fight of his career!

Though the impact was severe, Jammer2Omega must walk away from this match with a sense of purpose, proving he has what it takes to rise above the lower ranks of the fighting field. The_Purple_Bunny, of course, sets up for an enticing challenge against Darkrai, who mirrors Ratt -- the perfect warm-up for a Championship match TPB would love to have!

3. Ninja_Mime defeated m0s in a solid win.
Ninja_Mime has been one of the many top tier fighters in The Great Arena, but with much of his success in recent times coming from duo competition alongside Hokey, his individual prowess has gone somewhat unnoticed. Quietly carving through the tournament to this stage, Ninja_Mime outlasted his characteristically fortunate partner, performing comfortably in a favourable draw. m0s had much more to prove coming in to Tournament 5, emerging as one of the few members of Team Kron to garner unofficial rankings status after Supercard 6, with a STEROLIZER in rare form threatening to stage an upset.

m0s was cool under pressure, delivering a winning fight against a legitimately contending STERO in Round 3, but had clearly met his match in Ninja_Mime's first opportunity to flex his muscles. It was a close encounter for the pair, who matched up better than might have been expected! Ninja_Mime, never the less, progresses as a true dark horse of this 128-person field, capable of upsetting any fighter, on the right day!

4. Kron defeated SubMan799 in a total annihilation!
SubMan799 is one of the newcomers to The Great Arena who, despite facing steep odds against seasoned opponents, benefitted greatly from the Team Cr0w win at Supercard 6! Finally coming in to form in Tournament 5, SubMan799 had the steep challenge of upsetting one of the most powerful fighters in competition today! Kron has been down on his luck since reengaging with longtime arch-nemesis, Cr0w, but after eliminating #3 seed, Mimik, in Round 2, and former Champion Toryn, in Round 3, has emerged as a hot favourite to win Tournament 5!

Kron absolutely lived up to the hype, crushing any hopes of an upset with a devastating +28 impact in one of the most powerful displays showcased in the entirety of the tournament. Both he and Cr0w have delivered maximum +30 annihilations in previous rounds, but none of these victories have been quite as demonstrative as the total destruction of SubMan799's hopes for a surprise victory! With the finals around the corner, the possibility of a Kron/Cr0w rematch becomes ever more likely, a poetic eventuality to the power struggle that created this War for the Kr0wn!

5. Shoe [#4] defeated DaMo in a decimation.
A much talked about debut victory in Tournament 4 earned Shoe seeded acknowledgment for Tournament 5, but with only a brief showing in The Tower of Power, Shoe remains a less certain quantity when matched against the upper echelon of the contending fighters. DaMo may not be one of these marquee names of the Championship ranks, but with an upset victory against Kron at this stage of Tournament 1, the more experienced DaMo makes for an unlikely test in what has otherwise been a confident run for Shoe.

With a +3 impact in a never-in-doubt result, Shoe added another name to the list of mid-rank fighters he has proven dominant over. It was in Round 2 that he reprised his role as victor over T4 finalist Casselman, before earning a solid victory against successful duo fighter, Scott-Howell, in Round 3. This arc of competition is undoubtedly a compelling case, but as the finals draw near, Shoe draws nearer to his first clash with the big names of The Great Arena and the question must remain -- is he truly ready?

6. CaTigeReptile defeated DeathScepter in a close battle.
Emerging from a curious corner of the Tournament 5 draw, CaTigeReptile rides a string of successes which have included feuds with some of other female fighters of The Great Arena. DeathScepter wasn't present to taste CTR's wrath in a Grand Prix Battle Royal, which included the vicious elimination of some of the sisterhood, but had his own string of successes to call upon, including a convincing win over Chromatose in the previous round!

The even base of this mid-tier match-up presented itself totally as the pair clashed in a close fought battle! CaTigeReptile had claws when it counted, repelling DeathScepter's best efforts in a bout that wasn't exactly a threat to the upper ranks. CTR, never the less, has been on an arc that has made her one of the characters to watch in The Great Arena. The Quarter Final will be her ultimate test when she runs afoul Shoe, whose tournament so far has been all about quashing the gauntlet of these second level contenders!

7. ElJobber defeated MINION.
Luck of the draw made MINION a surprise runner this deep into the bracket, but you wouldn't have heard ElJobber complaining! As one of the remaining legitimate contenders for the Undisputed Championship, ElJobber was undoubtedly grateful for a lighter load after dismissing rival TonyTheTiger in Round 3, and losing to Genku at Pre-Show 7!

It was ultimately a fairly unremarkable showing from ElJobber, who exhibited a bare minimum in his +2 defeated of MINION. His performance suggested a similar bout of the phantom fatigue that has troubled some of the best competitors in The Great Arena in recent months, but with a likely clash against Cr0w looming in the Quarter Finals, may have simply been part of a recovery strategy from the cunning fighter.

8. Cr0w [#2] defeated Onryo in a decimation.
Some commentators suggested Cr0w would struggle to go the distance given some of his recent performances, but if the first four rounds of Tournament 5 are any measure, then Cr0w has to be considered one of the absolute favourites in this War for the Kr0wn! Still riding high on his domination over Kron at Supercard 6, the unofficial ruler of The Great Arena has been indomintable so far! Onryo was just another victim in the list, fortunate to walk away from a total decimation with only the scars of a +2 impact!

Though far less intimidating than Kron's "Round of Sixteen" result; Cr0w's decimation is the second half to a preview that nobody thought possible! The War for the Kr0wn may have given the seeds to former tournament winners, but if there were two fighters destined to meet in the final, then it would have to Cr0w and Kron. As the Quarter Finals dawn, this destined encounter, the sixth meeting between the two, now seems to be fate, but with a purse of an Undisputed Championship match, there are still plenty of motivated obstacles to overcome!

With one of the better records against Cr0w, ElJobber is the looming threat who defeated #1 contender Toryn after a double defeat that included missing his shot at the Undisputed Championship! Darkrai is the mysterious unknown quantity who has delighted with his high impact victories and enthusiasm for competition which has been compared to the reigning Champion! The_Purple_Bunny rides high on his return from the grave, while Shoe seeks validation as a previous Tournament winner. Ninja_Mime has been the silent assassin of the tournament, with every chance to win, and CaTigeReptile is a feisty feline fatale with a name to be made if she can secure an upset victory!

Tournament 5: War for the Kr0wn reaches the Quarter Final stages next, with eight capable competitors ready and willing to earn their shot at the Undisputed Champion, Ratt! Destiny beckons but one, who will it be?!

Quarter Final Brackets:
1. Darkrai versus The_Purple_Bunny
2. Ninja_Mime versus Kron
3. Shoe [#4] versus CaTigeReptile
4. ElJobber versus Cr0w [#2]
