Pre-Show 86: Daemon Quest

There were many demons to be slain as grudges reached breaking point on the Sunday of Pre-Show 86: Daemon Quest! Fighters loyal to various factions were out in force, striking first blood ahead of next week's Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion!

Way back in July, no one would've predicted Loopster would be the man to unseat the Undisputed Champion: DECEPTION! Never the less, that's exactly what happened in the Second Round of the 2016 Mid-Year Grand Slam! The upset victory never propelled Loopster to the top championship, but it established an unanswered grudge for The Hitman to excise once he lost! The long awaited one-on-one confrontation didn't disappoint, delivering DECEPTION to sweet satisfaction in a comprehensive +3 victory! The fluke nature of the July result can finally be noted, but the war is not over! At next week's Survivor Sequence Loopster will recruit two of his Invasion teammates to take on all three members of The New Generation in final battle!

It was to be a final battle when DaemonX took on DemoniaX for the soul and mind of wayward Invasion warrior Banging! The masked Kiwi became a pawn in the game between ShawnMichaels and his former allies in The Invasion. A game that will play out next week when The British Exit battle DaemonX and The Invasion in a 5-on-5 team bout! Supercard 86 will provide the grounds for the ultimate victory, but at Pre-Show 86, DaemonX attacked his doppelganger in name, fighting to erase the confusion used to exploit Banging! His victory was secured, but Banging hasn't been seen since he was confronted by Grayback during this week's Monday Night Invasion! Banging is the #1 Contender to the KFL Championship thanks to a win two weeks ago. Will he reemerge to bring the title back to The Invasion, or continue his role as The British Exit's converted assassin?

It was a bad night all around for The British Exit at Pre-Show 86! Sekktor & legoslayer10 struck back against The Brexiteers, looking for a little payback for taking the KFL contender spot he earned during the Halloween Battle Royal! Liam & nif were the unlucky duo who bared the brunt. Long time rivals Jason_Voorhees & edge also looked to do some damage ahead of Survivor Sequence, taking down Ironize & AcidicWonder in a convincing win.

DaemonX's Invasion enforcer The Great Genku had a rough fight when he faced a 2-on-1 reprisal for his role in putting Menas on the shelf earlier in the year! The one-time "Duo Destroyer" met his match in the recently reunited combination, but was able to hold his ground to claim a hard fought win. The match may not have gone the way of Politics & Menas, but the strength of their showing once again confirms that they're back and ready to recommit themselves to the Duo Division!

The Invasion are fighting a war on multiple fronts! Will fighters like Genku be the difference maker when their forces are stretched to the limit? Supercard 86: Survivor Sequence - Invasion is just one week away! While The United combust a main event Undisputed Championship clash between Royal Roulette winner Hokey and champion Mimik -- The Invasion will fight for their survival in team bouts against The British Exit, The Alliance and The New Generation!
