Friday Night Fights (August 12, 2016)

As Day 7 produced some of the highlights of the 2016 Summer Olympic Games; Friday Night Fights returned after an Opening Ceremony hiatus - leading with a different battle for gold!

The Division 2 Championship changed hands at a special presentation of Dead Or Alive IX, seeing avenger45 relinquish the gold to "The Secret Weapon" SubScorpTile! The title change seemingly threatened avenger45's August 21st spot at All-Star Summer Showdown, but a main event rematch would turn the tables as SST found himself struggling to repeat his Wednesday performance! This means avenger45 will once again defend his title against #1 contender Benjamin when he returns from representing Team USA at the Summer Olympics!

Another surprise title change at Dead Or Alive was the KFL Championship, which went in around the waist of a confident LordSkarlet, but left with a returning m0s! The new champ was last seen in action on the April 8th edition of Friday Night Fights, where he stunned every one by quitting the league! He was back on Friday Night Fights to explain his actions. He said he enjoyed screwing "The Fallen" LordSkarlet out of the KFL title at DOAIX, considering LS screwed him out of it in 2015. That wasn't his real reason for returning, though, and he'll grant LordSkarlet a rematch during next week's Monday Night Invasion - August 15th.

m0s said he hoped ElJobber was enjoying himself at the Olympic Games, because at All-Star Summer Showdown m0s plans to do what he should've done a long time ago - and beat the hell out of ElJobber! He said he should never have left without making ElJobber pay for destroying his Fight League, and he's sickened that ElJobber used Mime to take out his brother at Supercard 79! He wants nothing to do with ElJobber, but he has one more match in him - and on August 21st it's going to be done his way with ElJobber's world destroyed!

Also on Friday: Sekktor & legoslayer10 resumed their winning ways with a strong victory. "Mad Dog" Onryo picked up a good solo win over Mark, with BMK and Leroy at The Olympics. G0LD made it four wins in a row with a win over JoelKatz. And Coltess & Killswitch fought it out in a match that ended in a spectacular time limit draw!
