August 2016 turned out to be one of the most hectic months The Great Arena has ever seen thanks to the Summer Olympic Games, Dead Or Alive IX, All-Star Summer Showdown and the 2016 Summer Grand Slam! As we move in to September - don't expect the golden opportunities to stop any time soon!
Politics has been fighting for his fallen comrade Menas since June, and that personal motivation has spurred him to one of his biggest results yet: the Quarter Finals of the Summer Grand Slam! He outlasted hundreds of other fighters, including reigning Division 2 Champion: Benjamin!
His tenacious effort has impressed all the right people. As a result of his excellence, Politics has officially been named the #1 contender to the Division 2 Championship!
Despite being a veteran of The Great Arena, Politics has never held a championship title. Something he may be able to finally change in the coming weeks! If he can claim the title, we're sure Menas will be with him every step of the way!
