From the second it began - it was clear the final Monday Night Invasion before the 2016 Summer Olympic Games would be a combustible affair! It started with British exile ShawnMichaels making an unexpected appearance just two weeks after he was sent packing by new figurehead: DaemonX! He beat up Ghrimm, and challenged The Invasion to face bitter retribution in a clash at All-Star Summer Showdown! ShawnMichaels will lead The British Invasion against his former teammates at the August 21st Summer Supercard, but not before they take on the world at the Olympics!
The rest of the night was only going to get worse as the various enemies of The Invasion descended upon The Great Arena! The Pegasus of Portugal Zentile earned one last win for The European Union before The Olympics! Dethroned KFL Champion Statix picked up a big win against TripleH in his first outing since losing at Pre-Show 82! New champ LordSkarlet kept The Alliance at arms length, sending "The Fallen" UlcaTron & Corrupt hydraslash to go down swinging for him.
The Invasion took a lot of losses, but they had one ace in the hole! #1 contender The Great Genku was in the arena to make a stunning declaration. Dripping with paranoia he said he knew Royal Roulette winner Hokey was planning to screw him out of his All-Star Summer Showdown title shot. Just like VenoMark screwed him, Poasty screwed him, and The_Purple_Bunny tried to screw him!
Genku revealed he would be competing for Team USA at the Olympic Games, but he would not allow Hokey to screw him while he's gone. That's why he's agreed to join The Invasion and recruit them to take care of the newly reformed United! The bombshell perfectly explained Genku's recent partnership with Loopster on Monday and Friday, but also launched a counter attack by The United!
Hall of Fame legend Mimik was hungrily looking for payback against Loopster, but suffered an upset victory against the boastful Aussie who beat he and Hokey on July 29th! Hokey had better luck bouncing back, however, fending off a 2-on-1 ambush by DaemonX & Banging! A rough night for The Invasion!
