No surprises on the first day of competition as The United States and Canada emerge as favourites in the Solo Event. Both The_Purple_Bunny and Mime delivered perfect MAX Damage annihilations against their opponents. TPB's win over The_Rock, the slightly more impressive of the two.
Nephrite was a mild shock, easily upending Greece's maxilos to the tune of +3. ShawnMichaels of the British Exit also picked up a +3. Huge impacts in comparison to Singapore's Shamrock, who took his win without any bells or whistles. Nobody should under estimate him because of that, though. His victory was assured!
All of today's winners advance to the Second Round of the Solo event. The second half of the bracket will be wrapped up tomorrow, with Round 2 scheduled to take place on Thursday, August 11th.
