ICWW: Civil Action (12/31/02)

ICWW: CIVIL ACTION                      DECEMBER 31, 2002

ICWW: Civil Action kicked off with Eric Angle making his way to the ring with a microphone. He said that at ICWW: New Years Evil his brother lost to Jason Shamrock, which meant it was time for him to redeem the Angle name. He said that Ghrimm had been lucky enough to proceed through his carrer thus far undefeated, and he would not only end that lucky streak, but take his hardcore championship while he was at it, assuming Ghrimm had the fortitude. Ghrimm raced to the ring and the match began, not lasting long. Ghrimm finished it quickly after hitting his Dro Slam onto a steel chair, leaving Angle embarrassed as Ghrimm taunted the crowd and headed to the back quickly.

Loopster was signed for a rematch against Rockey next. The two met on Aftershock in a rather grueling one on one match up. This was a non-title match, Loopster having won the Eurasian at New Years Evil against Lord Nomad. Loopster was in fine shape to begin with, taking it to the fire cracker Rockey with a powerful DDT. Loopster hit his opponent with a nice something factor, and then finished it with a loop pile driver. Suddenly Michael Lucifer raced down to the ring and grabbed the Eurasian champion by the throat. He whispered something into Loopster's ear and then nailed him with a crushing chokeslam!! Rockey got up to thank Lucifer, but was put straight back down with a thunderous big boot! Michael Lucifer surveyed the destruction before heading to the back.

Backstage Shane Altmann was with Jesseman who was apparently making his ICWW return against Nomad. Jesseman struck a fine pose, and then warned Nomad that he knew of his evil intent. Jesseman said he had returned to stamp out evil, and he was going to start with The Nomad. A man he was sure was an evil man. In the match Nomad started out nice with a hard bulldog, and then took it to the super hero once again with a nice crescent kick. Jesseman appeared to have a second wind, fighting back to avoid Nomad's red myst and planted him with a powerbomb! Jesseman went upstairs, and nailed Nomad with a big splash and scored the pin.

Michael Lucifer was with Altmann backstage this time, saying that Shawn Michaels was lucky to walk away with the heavyweight championship, and it wasn't going to last. Lucifer then said that Loopster had better watch his ass because he wasn't one to let a little bitch go around without a collar. Jason Shamrock walked past and laughed at Lucifer's comments, which prompted him to approach Shamrock. Shamrock got serious and challenged him to a match. In the ring the two faced off with Lucifer looking to have the sheer size and strength advantage, stunning Shamrock with a heart punch and then slamming him with a gut wrench powerbomb. Shamrock started to work on Lucifer with stinging Thai kicks, and then managed to floor him with a belly to belly suplex! Shamrock clamped down the ankle lock, but Lucifer reached for the ropes. Lucifer looked for a chokeslam, but Shamrock used more Thai kicks to escape the move and dropped Lucifer with the wipeout. Which allowed Shamrock time to score the pin fall.

Shawn Michaels made his exciting entrance ready to face off against Banging, the man he defeated at NYE to walk away the heavyweight champion. Banging looked a little stiff, showing signs of his crushing defeat at the event. Shawn Michaels started off with a nice Lou Thesz Press, but Banging fought back with a strong neck breaker. With Michaels stunned Banging sent him into the ropes and dropped him with a dandy Samoan drop!! Shawn recovered and went on the rampage once more hitting Banging with a flying shoulder tackle, and then took him down with a hurracanrana! Michaels then climbed the turnbuckle looking for a flying elbow, but missed! Banging dropped Michaels with another Samoan drop and then scooped him up to hit the Kiwi bomb but Michaels slipped out, balancing himself enough to score the sweet chin music! He hooked the leg, and scored the three count. Shawn celebrated with Banging slowly making it to his feet when Oozaru appeared at the entrance way before off air.

Jesseman d. The Nomad

Special mention:
Loopster took on Rockey in a non-title match and again proved that he is a worthy Eurasian champion.
