ICWW: Civil Action (01/15/03)

ICWW: CIVIL ACTION                      JANUARY 15, 2003

Civil Action was hot in the old town as fans blew the roof off of the ICWW arena! Buddy Luv welcomed the fans to the sold out arena in what promised to be a huge show. The heavyweight title tournament would continue, with Shamrock being ordered to exclude one choice for a new mystery contender! Plus there was going to be a tag team match between Oozaru and Rhyno in the headlining match!

Jesseman entered first to take on hardcore champion Rockey in a special non-hardcore non-title match. The Tag team champion stalked in the ring eyeing off his opponent, before getting caught with a diving forearm. Jesseman soon recovered and hit Rockey with a DDT, and then followed up with a big elbow drop! Rockey got a second wind and went on the attack, driving the skull of Jesseman straight into the top turnbuckle. He looked for a top rope superplex, but Jesseman managed to counter it and sent Rockey right back to the mat! From there he hit a diving senton bomb, and scored the pin fall cover. Jesseman raced to the back.

Backstage Shane Altmann was with Marz who had a challenge for The Nomad. He said that as the current National champion, and a contender in the tournament for the heavyweight championship he was hot stuff. He said he had noticed Nomad strutting around the back like he was some hot stuff, despite his terrible win/loss record of late. Marz said he was willing to throw the newbie a bone, and offer him a national championship, especially since he wouldn't really be needing it much longer. Nomad raced up behind Marz and nailed him with a trash can!

Jason Shamrock made his way to ringside to join Buddy Luv at the commentary booth for the first of two heavyweight championship contender matches. Shamrock said that he had hand picked three of the superstars ready to make their way to the ring, but had no idea who the ICWW board had chosen for the mystery spot. Violent J made his way to the ring in his VIP cart and jumped into the ring and stood looking on at the entrance way, waiting for his opponent. After the music hit it was revealed to be none other than Chaos Drone! Chaos Drone made his way to the ring wearing an old blood t-shirt, and jumped into the ring and started trash talking Violent J! J jumped out of the ring when suddenly the lights went out and in the darkness grunts and moans of discomfort could be heard! When the lights came back on Chaos Drone was lying in the middle of the ring out cold! The referee announced that as he was unable to compete, the match would be declared a no contest, however Violent J would advance to the second round of the heavyweight championship tournament. Jason Shamrock told Buddy Luv that he had no idea what had just happened, but he was disappointed that the fans, and himself didn't get to see an honorable one on one encounter.

Next Albert Beefcake made his way to the ring, taking a moment to strut his super Beefer bust in the ring. MMAF kumite champion Statix made his way to the ring as the second challenger. Albert went on the attacked first up with a coco butt, but Statix shook it off and went on the attack with a clothesline. Albert hooked up with a front face lock, but Statix managed to counter it with a huge vertical suplex! He picked Albo up and dropped him right back down with a nice scoop slam, and then followed with a big elbow drop! Albert looked for the mofo low blow, but Statix jumped back and managed to hit the Static Slam before getting the cover to progress.

Backstage Rhyno approached Mickdust and said that later in the night he was going to face Oozaru in a tag team match with their choice of partners. Rhyno asked if Mickdust was available for it. Mickdust told Rhyno that he was very available, and would be happy to spank the monkey with Rhyno. Rhyno smiled and headed off uneasily. Meanwhile in the locker rooms Oozaru was talking to Eurasian champion Loopster. Loopster said he would love a little booty call on Rhyno, and agreed to fight alongside the hardcore monkey. Oozaru slammed a locker as he hyped himself.

In the ring The Nomad made his way for a one on one with Marz for the National championship. The cocky Marz skipped his way to the ring taunting the Nomad with the belt. The former National champ went straight to work dropping Marz with a high impact bulldog, and then a spinning leg drop! Marz got to his feet and struck the Nomad with a stinging Thai kick and then looked for a hurricanrana but the Nomad countered it into a powerbomb! Marz staggered back, and the Nomad struck him down with a thunderous clothesline. Nomad sent Marz into the ropes and then blinded him with the red myst. From there he hit the bible black and went for the cover, but Marz whipped out his tazer and begun shocking the Nomad! The referee called for the bell before dragging Marz away. The National champion taunted the crowd with the belt and yelled Old Blood before heading backstage.

Rhyno made his way to the ring next for the tag team matchup, followed by the extravagant Mickdust. Oozaru and Loopster both charged to the ring and went to work on the Old Blood members. The referee restored order as Mickdust and Loopster went at it. Mickdust kept the pace slow after dropping Loopster with a hard spinebuster, but the Eurasian champion struck back with a dropkick and then a dragon screw! Mickdust made the tag and Rhyno went on the charge with a spinebuster slam, and then dropped the knee down on Loopster. Rhyno sent Loopster into the ropes and looked for a gore, but was caught in the mouth with a knee to the face. Loopster went off the ropes again and dropped Rhyno face first with a rocker dropper! Loopster whipped Rhyno into the ropes again, but he caught hold of them and made the tag. Mickdust took the fatigued Loopster down with a running butt pump, and then looked for the golden driver, but Loopster hit the something factor and tagged in Oozaru! Mickdust took it to Oozaru with an inverted atomic drop, and then looked for a follow up spinebuster, but the hardcore monkey countered with a scoop slam! Oozaru went off the ropes and nailed an elbow drop, before picking Mickdust up and dropping him with the Lag Buster! Oozaru went for the cover as Loopster held Rhyno up in the ropes, preventing the break and earning Oozaru the three count. Loopster went to the outside and pulled his 2x4 wrapped in barbed wire out from under the ring and proceeded to lay a beat down on Mickdust, while Rhyno and Oozaru battled on the outside as CA came to an end.
