MMAF: GRAND KUMITE III This third MMAF Grand Kumite introduces an all new set of challenges. Now only the fit will survive, and the strong will thrive as each fighter is forced to climb the kumite ladder, each adversary more difficult than the last. As the weak links are eliminated, he who goes undefeated through the whole tournament will be crowned the kumite champion.

STATIX SHOCKS CRITICS [17-01-2003] After a lengthy delay in the kumite proceedings, Statix came out to tackle Eric Angle in the first resuming match. Statix disposed of his opponent in a close encounter, and then proceeded to plough through his adversaries. Some are tipping Statix to go all the way and become the new champion. OOZARU PROGRESSES [06-01-2003] Despite previous records, Oozaru has put on a good show early on in the Grand Kumite after defeating Patrick Mannion and Ironize. Oozaru also progressed beyond Banging and Phenom after they were found to have resigned from the kumite. LET THE KUMITE BEGIN [04-01-2003] After a resignation from Banging, Patrick Mannion was able to progress through to his next opponent in the MMAF Grand Kumite. He will face Oozaru in the MMAF cage looking to capitalize on this rare opportunity no doubt. Ghrimm also appears to have resigned from the tournament, although the situiation will be reviewed once he becomes a contender.
