ICWW: Aftershock (01/03/03)

ICWW: AFTERSHOCK                      JANUARY 03, 2003

ICWW: Aftershock was electric as Buddy Luv welcomed the fans to the show, and plugged his ICWW.cjb.net radio programme - ICWW: Squared Circle Zone. His former co-host Albert Beefcake was signed first up to take on the cruiserweight high flying high-voice, Billy Kidman in one on one competition. Albo looked to be struggling with the much quicker, more agile Kidman until he hit a nice chokeslam. Kidman prevailed however after hitting a stunner.

Backstage Jesseman approached Michael Lucifer and told him that he had come back to his promotion to stamp out the fires of evil in ICWW. Michael Lucifer moved closer to Jesseman and told him he didn't like him, and he should stay away from him. Jesseman said he didn't like the tone, and told Lucifer that he could change his ways, or face his super hero wrath. Lucifer snarled as Jesseman raced away from the scene.

The little fire cracker Rockey made his way to the ring next to take on heavyweight contender, Jason Shamrock. The two locked up, seeing Shamrock move things along quickly with a stunning belly to belly suplex. Rockey wasn't going down without a fight, scoring a tough boxing combo. It wasn't enough however, Shamrock finished off the match in fine fashion by hitting his wipeout finisher. Shamrock loomed over Rockey before heading back.

Backstage Jesseman 'landed' in the locker room, when Albert Beefcake and Stat-Man burst in looking excited. They said that they agreed with Jesseman and his beliefs that ICWW was full of evil, and they wanted to join forces. Jesseman rubbed his chin, and exclaimed that this was going to be the beginning of a new era in heroism. Albert said rar.

Violent J made his way to the ring with a microphone and said that at New Years Evil Marz had gotten lucky, because he didn't even have to pin him to win the JCW national title. He said if Marz really had guts, he would face him right then and there for the belt. Marz raced to the ring and the two began to duke it out. Marz went straight to work diving on Violent J with a nice Lou Thesz press, but J rolled over and returned the favour. The former partners looked to be evenly matched, but Marz soon turned the tables after hitting a surprise spiral bomb! Marz scored the cover.

Jesseman, Albert Beefcake and Stat-Man made their way to the ring next, telling everyone to watch out because the Super Friends had arrived in ICWW. Jesseman said that to eliminate evil they were going to start from the top and work their way down. Jesseman then called Michael Lucifer out, challenging him to face his destiny. The Super friends jumped as a wall of fire flashed at the entrance way and Michael Lucifer raced from behind it down to the ring. He nailed Stat-Man with a big boot, and threw Albert over the top rope, eyeing off Jesseman. Jesseman went for the Jesseman Justice Judgment slam, but Lucifer countered it. Lucifer wrapped his hand around the throat of the super hero and took him down with a powerful chokeslam. After getting the cover Lucifer made his way to the back leaving the Super Friends to tend to each others' wounds in the ring.

Oozaru and Loopster faced off in a non-title hardcore match up. Oozaru took it to the Eurasian champion early on with a stiff neck breaker, and followed his assault with a nice flapjack attack. Loopster regained his composure and nailed Oozaru with a barrage of rights and lefts, before going to the outside with a suplex over the top rope. Loopster pulled out his 2x4 wrapped in barbed wire and clobbered the big monkey, sending him into next week. Oozaru looked for the flatliner, but Loopster countered it and managed to drop him with the something factor. It was academic from there, Loopster scored the pin fall on the outside after hitting the LPD.

In his first heavyweight championship defense since winning, Shawn Michaels took on the first ever ICWW champion - The Nomad in no holds barred competition. The Nomad looked to be psyched as he headed in wildly, dropping the champ with a huge bulldog. Michaels got to his feet once again, and sent Nomad into the ropes and hit him with a neck breaker. Nomad recovered fast, but fell to an amazing DDT! Michaels went upstairs looking for the diving elbow drop, but Nomad rolled out of harms way at the last second, leaving Michaels with all of the impact. Nomad sent Michaels into the ropes and hit him with the red myst, before snatching the heavyweight belt from the time keeper at ring side. He held it high above his head, and then used it as a weapon against the reeling Michaels! Nomad sent Michaels into the ropes and hit him with the Bible Black, but as he did The Rock raced down to the ring and then nailed Nomad with a steel chair! He rested the chair on his chest, and then hit the people's elbow!! The Rock draped Michaels' arm over Nomad, allowing the champ to get the three count. The Rock then grabbed a microphone and told Nomad that if he thought he was getting a shot before the Rock, he was even dumber than he looked. The Rock headed backstage, leaving Michaels stunned on the outside, and Nomad staring as AS came to an end.
