With a run through the first two organized tournaments that took him to eleven straight victories, there was a time when Genku was a record holder of the biggest win streak. That claim to fame went out the window, however, when Cr0w secured his sixteenth straight victory at Supercard 10: Tower of Power II!
August 14 will see Genku and Cr0w clash in a battle for the Undisputed Championship at an epic fifteen match blockbuster called Supercard 11: All-Star Summer Showdown!
Genku booked himself the guaranteed match at Supercard 9 when he beat out eleven other fighters to win a contender Battle Royal! The win should've handed the #1 Contender a nifty double-chance, but at Tower of Power II the script was torn up, delaying the hotly anticipated match for tighter odds! The hiccup couldn't deny an impressive run of eliminations that included Mimik, Toryn and Ninja_Mime in the Battle Royal, as well as singles successes against Toryn and Hokey at recent events. Will it be enough to prepare him for the challenge that lies ahead?
Preparation for Cr0w has included total victory in Tournament 5, Championship defenses against Kron, Ratt, ElJobber and Mimik, and a record setting reign that took him to one hundred days (cumulative) as holder of the covetted Undisputed Championship! This domination of the colosseum has assured Cr0w's legacy in The Great Arena, but has also painted a massive bullseye on his back!

Both fighters are playing it very cool in the lead to their Championship match, and indeed, confidence plays a big part in the keys to victory for each! Cr0w's dominance gives him an undeniable intimidation factor to play upon, best repelled by Genku showing no signs of fear come zerohour! Afterall, as they say, nothing lasts forever. The tension of that fact gets more intense for the Champion with every defense, come showtime!
In the colosseum, Genku will simply have to call upon his very best, leaving nothing in reserve when he goes to war with the odds! Cr0w is undeniably one of the most powerful warriors in competition and, on his day, really cannot be rivalled blow for blow. Genku will be hoping the long win streak brings with it pressure and fatigue -- otherwise, it'll be defense number six for the Undisputed Champion!
