May 8, 2011 -- Victory at Supercard 6 has earned Team Cr0w total domination over The Great Arena! With their opponents vanquished the Spoils of War are theirs to enjoy, but this alliance of sixteen, drafted into battle by Cr0w, were never fighting for the same things! The common goal of the Undisputed Championship compells this fighting force to turn against each other, loyal only to their individual pursuit!
Cr0w may have destroyed his arch-nemesis Kron, but he now faces a list of contenders he has helped create! Mimik is the Tournament 3 champion who dominated enemy and ally alike in a twelve-person Battle Royal! ElJobber is the almost-was who defeated the #1 contender, Toryn -- former champion he'd been unable to beat! Genku is the fighter returned from the dead who vanquished the powers who manipulated him but failed to capitalize on an unsuspecting champion!
The Spoils of War must now be divided among the victors! Equal share is not an option. Only the strong will thrive, to go on to challenge for the greatest prize of them all -- the Undisputed Championship!...
9. Cr0w d. Mimik in a +4 decimation!
Winning Tournament 3 at Supercard 2 was the beginning of his rise, but only in the last month or so has Mimik shown the extent of his powers! A steady string of victories have asserted him as one of the new top contenders in The Great Arena, buoyed by a devastating rampage through the Battle Royal ranks at Supercard 6, after an impressive five-win streak at Tower of Power, ended when he faced Cr0w.
Having scored back-to-back victories over arch-rival Kron, including leading his team to victory at Supercard 6; Cr0w clearly represented the ultimate challenge for a title-bound Mimik. Alas; this was one sizeable monkey to try to get off his back! Mimik was sound in his attack of the match, but Cr0w was finally fighting at full force at the right time! The original Undisputed Champion unleashed a relatively modest +4 decimation of his opponent, reaching a level that few can challenge. Mimik will no doubt remain one of the key figures in the contender rankings, but after dominating his enemies, Cr0w has undeniably dominated The Great Arena! It can now be only a matter of time before he demands the Championship match he so depserately covets, against a Champion he personally resents, despises, and envies.
8. Genku d. ElJobber in a convincing victory.
Back among the living as a result of a Pre-Show Easter resurrection; Genku was unsuccessful in his attempt to turn the tables on an unsuspecting Ratt, who he partnered with at Supercard 6 as a neutral team against the Barons of Lord Mislukking! In contrast, ElJobber was the #1 draft pick who, on the side of Team Cr0w, earned his first victory against then-#1 contender, Toryn.
Clearly there was a freshness about Genku, who faced off an ElJobber lacking the energy that propelled him to the key win. Perhaps it was the pressure of evening the overall scores between Team Cr0w and Team Kron that took its toll. Either way, Genku could not be denied the big win he needed to sustain his whirlwind return to the ranks of the living!
7. Shoe d. TonyTheTiger in a decimation!
Eager to reclaim the spoils of a top ten ranking, TonyTheTiger looked to Tournament 4 winner and relative newcomer, Shoe, for the chance to weasel back in. Despite a reputation for capitalizing on the smallest of opportunities, TTT was unable to put his best effort into the fight! Still wearing a defeat from Shoe at Tower of Power, plus the indignity of being eliminated by STEROLIZER in the Supercard 6 Battle Royal; TTT will clearly have to go back to the drawing board if he's to reclaim a spot among the chosen!
6. Hokey & Ninja_Mime d. Casselman & SubMan799 in a decimating team victory!
Keen to break into the duo ranks, Casselman & SubMan799 got a harsh initiation at Supercard 6 when they debuted against rank team favourites, Scott-Howell & Murdoink! It was out of the frypan and into the fire for the newest team in The Great Arena, clashing with what many consider to be the best duo currently fighting, Hokey & Ninja_Mime. Experience was to be the overwhelming factor as the younger, less seasoned pairing took another harsh class in the school of hard knocks!
Hokey & Ninja_Mime continue to dominate the duo ranks, despite being noted solo competitors! Frequently listed in the unofficial top ten contender rankings, the question of loyalty lingers, given that their acquaintance was pleasant, but unexpected. As a duo they have consistently attained unbeatable status, but the Undisputed Championship has torn apart bigger teams that these, to say nothing of the entire Team Cr0w!
5. CaTigeReptile d. GuiltyByDesign in a close grudge match!
It was at Supercard 4 that CaTigeReptile initially demonstrated her total disregard for notions of sisterhood! Eliminating GuiltyByDesign in the Grand Prix Battle Royal set-up a perfect rematch at Supercard 6, but the domination wreaked by Mimik saw missed opportunities. Free of the team obligation, GBD clutched closer at revenge than might have otherwise been expected! Never the less, it was CaTigeReptile who stood tall, continuing her rise through the ranks!
4. DeathScepter & Chromatose d. Pink_Ranger & Ghostdragon.
Described by Cr0w as two of the most underrated fighters in competition, Pink_Ragner & Ghostdragon once again failed to unite to prove their true worth. The impromptu tandem of DeathScepter & Chromatose brought together two fighters who've had plenty of experience battling it out in the second tier ranks, but nobody could've expected it to produce a winning combination so quickly! The first-timers delivered repeat disappointment for PR & GD, but as long as Team Cr0w hold dominance over The Great Arena, they should have the opportunity to redeem themselves!
3. Baraka_MK d. Tyrant-Cenobite in a solid result.
The question of who attacked Tyrant-Cenobite at Supercard 4 has been a lingering threat throughout his many battles. Speculation about any culpability toward Baraka_MK was quashed as quickly as Tyrant's chances of victory. TC finally confirmed that he does indeed know who his attacker was and that he would reveal that information when it was more advantageous.
2. Reiko d. Zedox in a close fought Bonus Match.
In a double debut, Zedox stepped into the fray against Reiko. Despite some billing as a promising next big thing, Zedox failed to perform in a match that saw some confusion over initial results. Clarification brought with it a surprise first-time winner, Reiko taking it away in a close fought battle.
1. nif d. Simon in a close fought Bonus Match.
With The Great Arena dominated by the members of Team Cr0w, neutral fighters were the only ones allowed admittance in for additional match-ups. nif debuted at Pre-Show 6 with a victory over NightHawk and looked enthusiastic about continuing it in a well met clash with Simon!
With victory secured Cr0w has asserted himself the strongest among a union of powers. Team Kron have been forced from The Great Arena, exiled in the power struggle that began between two bitter rivals, but has been expanded upon by an act of war. The future is now uncertain! May 22 is Supercard 7, but as long as Team Cr0w dominate the stage, then any notion of schedule is impossible to anticipate.
Where once honor and the purity of combat had brought order to a land beseiged, chaos has begun to reign. This apparent corruption of The Great Arena poses difficult questions for Mick and Ares Menschlich -- two sides of the same coin, men who are opposed by nature but united in purpose. They have lost control of their competition, will they be able to do anything about it?...
