Supercard 6: Team Cr0w vs Team Kron!

The Bitter Peace has ended. Alliances are no longer a factor.
The feud between two of the biggest rivals in the history of The Great Arena has reached boiling point. There are no more distractions. Everyone must choose a side before the battlelines are drawn, or risk being caught in the crossfire. This is a war!

Thirty-two fighters have been drafted into two armies, but no war begins with the formation of sides. May 1 will be the day scores are settled, but this is a story that has lasted as long as The Great Arena itself. A tale of two fighters -- destined to tear The Great Arena in two...

Tournament 2: Quest for a Champion January 11, 2011
In the final stage of a gruelling sixty-four person elimination tournament, Cr0w and Kron met for the first time on record. Their rivalry had already begun and with the first crowning of the Undisputed Championship on the line, their initial encounter was controversially deemed non-applicable due to an absence of officials. When the match restarted, it was Cr0w who emerged the victor, making history as the winner of Tournament 2 and the first ever Undisputed Champion.

Supercard 1: Battle Royale 2011 January 30, 2011
In a blockbuster Championship rematch, Cr0w defended his title against Kron. Kron had made himself an elusive target in the weeks leading up to the big moment, fighting with a refreshment that defied his former result and earned him his first victory over Cr0w and first reign as Undisputed Champion. This first recorded rematch was also the beginning of the saga, unleashing a bitter vein in Cr0w that would not soon dissipate.

Supercard 2: Triple Double - The Eliminator February 20, 2011
Cr0w began his revenge by destroying the Champion's friend and ally, Porygonix, before attempting to do the same in a second Undisputed Championship rematch, this time as challenger. Cr0w attacked Kron with an aggression not seen in their previous battles, but it was not enough to overcome the Champion's defense. The bitter rivalry between Cr0w and Kron was seemingly concluded, just as it was heating up.

Supercard 4: The Ultimate Grand Prix April 3, 2011
A month in The Great Arena is a long time, evidenced by the change in dynamic during Kron and Cr0w's time apart. While Cr0w remain fixated by his quest to reclaim the Undisputed Champion, Kron had had the opportunity to lose the title before the biggest event in history. The magnitude of the event would be enough to unite them as an unlikely unified front, battling as a powerful duo against the Barons of Famine and Pestilence. For the first time in their history, the pair shared the glory.

Supercard 5: The Tower of Power April 17, 2011
In a Tower of Power erected of the best fighters in The Great Arena, Cr0w and Kron would be inevitably thrown against each other once more. Their peace short lived, it was Cr0w who finally evened the score, destroying Kron's hopes of recapturing the Championship in a total annihilation more convincing than any of their previous battles. Tied at two wins each, they lose all sight of the greater menace, turning their attentions to each other once more. More heated than ever, the feud between Cr0w and Kron now engulfs the entire arena as others are drafted into their war.

TEAM CR0W: ElJobber, Mimik, TonyTheTiger, Shoe, Ninja_Mime, Pink_Ranger, Hokey, Ghostdragon, Baraka_MK, DeathScepter, SubMan799, CaTigeReptile, Casselman, Tyrant-Cenobite, Chromatose, GuiltyByDesign

TEAM KRON: Toryn, The_Purple_Bunny, Porygonix, Jammer2Omega, DECEPTION, Ken, xtactics, m0s, ZachAngel, Scott-Howell, Kairyu, DaMo, STEROLIZER, onryo, Artanix, Murdoink

11. Cr0w d. Kron in a comprehensive grudge match!
[Team Cr0w versus Team Kron total score: 5 - 4]
With the teams tied at 4-4 it was to be a storybook ending to a team battle, but for Cr0w and Kron, the individual stakes were far greater. With the most storied rivalry in the history of The Great Arena, they enter combat with a personal tie of 2-2. After enduring the loss of the Undisputed Championship, Cr0w had been the one to fight back to even the odds. With his team having done the same, it seemed Cr0w was destined to complete the follow through!

Neither man would walk away from their epic fifth encounter disgraced. Both were powerful, motivated and competitive. This was truly a fight that could have gone either way, but when it mattered most, Cr0w proved supremacy over his long running rival. The victory hands Cr0w a serious individual claim to the Undisputed Championship, but more than that, his team can now dominate The Great Arena unopposed! Things may not go according to plan for Cr0w, however. The furies that compelled Cr0w and Kron to battle now permeate to the rest of his team!

10. Ratt d. Genku in a decimating Championship defense!
Any act of heroism went out the window as Genku turned his sights on his partner, Ratt! Back among the living, Genku intended to return his candidacy to contention for the Undisputed Championship Ratt won from Toryn at Tower of Power, rekindling the feud he had in death!

As winner of Tournament 1, Genku was once considered to be rightful Undisputed Champion! Against the might of Ratt, that destiny would not be fulfilled, however! Having suffered post-match challenges so many times before, "The Iron Man" Ratt looked completely prepared for the impromptu match! It was with a +4 impact that he quashed Genku's hopes at an upstart victory! The surprise title defense makes Ratt the first Undisputed Champion to secure a second successful defense after winning the belt! With a list of contenders growing, there'll be plenty more challenges to come!

9. Ratt & Genku d. Famine & Pestilence in a convincing victory!
The story of Genku took a significant turn when he threw himself on the mercy of Lord Mislukking, resulting in an on-going feud with Ratt after he was resurrected as a pawn of the Baron of Death, Sinvida Von Grimm! Resurrected at Pre-Show 6 by Mick; Genku had the opportunity to strike back against his oppressors on the side of angels!

Side by side, Ratt & Genku provided a formidable combination, putting aside their differences to deliver a convincing defeat of Bez Busshitsu & Praga Conquette, the baron and baroness of Famine and Pestilence. The umpteenth defeat of these fiends proved another moral victory for the members of The Union of The Human League, which Genku is once again a member of. The resurrected fighter suggested Ares Menschlich -- Baron of War -- may have had a hand in the erratic behaviour that led to his suicide, but there was nothing erratic about the shock twist that was to follow...

8. ElJobber d. Toryn in a punishing +7 annihilation!
[Team Cr0w versus Team Kron total score: 4 - 4]
Few stakes can measure up to a main event Championship match at the biggest event of them all, Supercard 4: The Ultimate Grand Prix, but at a 3-4 disadvantage for Team Cr0w, ElJobber certainly shouldered plenty of pressure against the former Undisputed Champion! In their two previous encounters, Toryn had had the better of his foe, but times have been tough over the past month. After losing his title to Ratt at Supercard 5, Toryn again missed his opportunity in a surprise challenge at Pre-Show 6!

With everything to play for, ElJobber confirmed the turn of fortunes by delivering a devastating +7 impact in his total annihilation of Toryn! An upset in the eyes of some, this shocking result is a monkey off the back of ElJobber, who lost a grip on his Championship race after the big loss at Supercard 4! There can be no doubt that both men will resume their pursuit, moving forward.

7. Hokey & Ninja_Mime d. Porygonix & xtactics in a thorough decimation!
[Team Cr0w versus Team Kron total score: 3 - 4]
They started out enemies, but Porygonix & xtactics were unified by the draft that brought them together for Team Kron. Alas; the duo juggernaut that has been Hokey & Ninja_Mime was a harsh acid test for the newly conjoined rivals. Hokey and Mime have been stalwarts of the top ten solo competitors for quite some time, but it has been their acquaintance as a team that has canonized their top status in The Great Arena! As evidenced by their momentum shifting decimation, Hokey & Ninja_Mime are truly a force to be reckoned with!

6. The_Purple_Bunny d. Shoe in a solid win.
[Team Cr0w versus Team Kron total score: 2 - 4]
Back from the dead, The_Purple_Bunny's high was interrupted at Tower of Power when he ran into a wall called Shoe! The returning fighter would turn the tables with a convincing competitive victory over his rival, earning payback with the sweet bonus of a two-win clearing for Team Kron!

5. Scott-Howell & Murdoink d. Casselman & SubMan799.
[Team Cr0w versus Team Kron total score: 2 - 3]
Good friends and rising stars in The Great Arena, it made perfect sense that Casselman & SubMan799 would form a solid unit, even without the draft intervention of being picked for Team Cr0w. Against the growing experience of the affectionately known "first duo", however, best intentions and camaradarie wasn't going to be enough! "Sugar" Scott-Howell & Murdoink started slow, but have quickly become the most successful team in The Great Arena!

4. DECEPTION & Onryo d. Pink_Ranger & Ghostdragon.
[Team Cr0w versus Team Kron total score: 2 - 2]
Described by Cr0w as two of the most underrated competitors in The Great Arena, Pink_Ranger & Ghostdragon were unable to fulfill his high praise in their first outing as a designed duo. Following a first appearance at Pre-Show 6; DECEPTION & Onryo showed their was chemistry in their combination, arriving at a solid victory considered by some to be an upset! It was certainly an upset for Cr0w, who faced the prospect of another team tie!

3. Chromatose d. ZachAngel in a solid win.
[Team Cr0w versus Team Kron total score: 2 - 1]
The two titans of talk squared off in The Great Arena with much more than words for their arsenal! With teams tied, Chromatose proved the value of experience for Team Cr0w, befuddling ZachAngel enough to stem his ZachAttack! The win marks a return to form for Chromatose, whose early successes have failed to be sustained in recent times.

2. Jammer2Omega d. Tyrant-Cenobite in a solid win.
[Team Cr0w versus Team Kron total score: 1 - 1]
Who attacked Tyrant-Cenobite at Supercard 4? Few answers were to be provided in this elementary clash between TC and relative newcomer, Jammer2Omega. Representing Team Kron, J2O showed he was a worthy pick in the draw, delivering a confident win over the more seasoned Tyrant, an equalizer for his team.

1. Mimik (#2) eliminated DaMo (#12) to win the Battle Royal!
[Team Cr0w versus Team Kron total score: 1 - 0]
It wasn't just teams that went out the window in this twelve-person Battle Royal! The rivalries that were expected to tear Team Cr0w and Team Kron apart were never quite fulfilled, squashed by the individual ambition of a sleeping giant within the ranks! Mimik may have had a sweet deal starting the match off with teammate Baraka_MK, but instead opted to dispense a thorough beating, the first of a dominant seven eliminations!

It seemed as if noone would survive the fight with Mimik as CaTigeReptile (#3), Artanix (#4) and Ken (#5) were dealt with in rapid succession. Mimik's arch-rival, TonyTheTiger (#6) showed few signs of putting up a struggle, but endured the beating long enough to break the one-to-one elimination order, leaving Kairyu (#7) to taste elimination.

TonyTheTiger lasted long enough to see DeathScepter (#8) and STEROLIZER (#9) enter the battle, only to suffer the indignity of being eliminated by STERO after less than six minutes in the battle! The opportunistic elimination marked STEROLIZER's first success in three Battle Royals, but was soon upset by m0s (#11), who sent him packing as soon as he entered the match on STERO's third minute!

m0s managed to eliminate GuiltyByDesign (#10) next, after enduring a series of attacks from a still dominating Mimik. DaMo (#12) joined, opting to attack his beseiged teammate, rather than challenge the dominance of Mimik. It was elementary after that, confirming Mimik the opening victor for Team Cr0w after a truly dominating performance!

Competitor teams were: Team Cr0w: Mimik, TonyTheTiger, CaTigeReptile, GuiltyByDesign, Baraka_MK, DeathScepter Team Kron: Ken, m0s, Artanix, DaMo, STEROLIZER, Kairyu

It was a fairytale ending for Team Cr0w, who fought from behind to secure the overall win. Cr0w may have finally triumphed over his arch-rival and led his team to victory, but in doing so, may have only complicated his chase for the Undisputed Championship. Mimik's domination in the Battle Royal forces his claim for the belt, while ElJobber feels a victory over previous #1 contender, Toryn, makes him the next in line. Genku may have been unlucky in his return to the ranks of the living, but remains a hot potato. Kron may have tasted the ultimate defeat, but will surely remain on the periphery of the Championship landscape. Then there are the likes of Hokey and Ninja_Mime, who return to the top ten after supporting each other as a unit. How long will their alliance last? Those who were drafted to Team Cr0w will benefit from their allegiance, but this highly contest unofficial top ten means anyone could be the next official challenger!

On May 8 The Great Arena will belong to the victors, but their mutual alliance has quickly ended as Captain Cr0w is forced to defend himself from the attacks of his own team! Pre-Show 7: The Spoils of War will see Team Kron squeezed out of the arena, while Team Cr0w fight for their individual rights to rule!
