Friday Night Fights (March 3, 2017)

The atmosphere was electric as Friday Night Fights geared up to host the first ever Undisputed Championship match in the weekly event's five year history! The landmark occasion was a direct result of last week's Eliminator at Pre-Show 90: Venomous Creatures -- and the vicious rivalry burning between Genku and new Undisputed Champion: VenoMark!

It was a Supercard-like feel as the action built up to the night's main event. Genku had seemingly resisted the pressures of recent controversy, focusing all energy on the goal of the main event at Ultimate Grand Prix VII! With his dream hanging in the balance, Genku met his tormentor VenoMark for one of the most anticipated championship matches of recent memory! The challenger hurled himself at the champion with ruthless aggression -- but clearly the last six months had taken their toll. He caught VenoMark by surprise at first, but VM's own desire to be champion could not be under estimated! Genku may've found his rematch and come for his championship, but he quickly discovered this universe had created a force equal and opposite to his own desire. With the annals of history watching, VenoMark beat Genku back -- still the Undisputed Champion!

It was a good night for title defenses. KFL Champion "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile accepted the challenge of jess on the back of her surprising and empowering win last week. Unfortunately, it can't have been that empowering, as jess suffered a devastating MAX Damage impact in an annihilating loss! Shizuma, Kiara85, Angelia and kororaa topped the winning women in this week's undercard.

Between title bouts: The Invasion emerged to address the unexpected results of Pre-Show 90. Team figurehead DaemonX explained that The Invasion would be making some changes in light of their current status. Before the explanations could get too deep - Statix, Oozaru & PaganFreak emerged to challenge them on the 2-on-1 ambush that spoiled a match 12 years in the making. DaemonX said one of the changes they wouldn't be making was the loss of Banging among their ranks. Oozaru tried to compel Banging to walk away from The Invasion, but it was instead he who conceded ground when DaemonX & Banging attacked! Statix & PaganFreak were able to drive them back, winning the resulting duo battle -- but the war for Banging's soul is far from over!
