ICWW: Civil Action (01/15/03)

ICWW: CIVIL ACTION                      JANUARY 15, 2003

ICWW: Civil Action opened with Buddy Luv very excited still after the events that took place at Dead Or Alive III. He said that they were surely going to learn more about the agenda of the growing old blood, as well as finding out what the Super Friends and Michael Lucifer got up to after the Jesseman match, and words from the new champ! Rockey made his way to the ring first with a microphone and said that at DOA it wasn't his day, and he was okay with that, he said that he'd take care of Loopster another day so he shouldn't leave town or nothin. He then informed the crowd that it was his birthday, and because it was his birthday he thought he deserved a title shot as a gift. Ghrimm made his way to the entrance and said that he was an undefeated superstar, and would be happy to give Rockey an ass kicking for his birthday. Ghrimm raced to the ring and the two started fighting, Rockey got in a nice DDT, but then Ghrimm scored a Lou Thesz press. Ghrimm tried to use his hardcore title as a weapon but Rockey punched the title right back into his face. Rockey continued to knock the title back with a barrage of punches before hitting the Indian powerbomb into a pin. Rockey raised the title above his head before running to the back.

Backstage Oozaru was spotting heading into the arena through a back door looking agitated with a sledge hammer. Oozaru headed straight to the ring and said that although he had said he wouldn't have any part of the old blood it seemed they would have a part of him. Oozaru told the crowd that he didn't care much for Rhyno, and would be happy to take him by the horns and teach him a lesson. Oozaru then said he would not leave the ring until one of the old blood got their asses out there so he could start the ball rolling. Oozaru paced in the ring with his sledge hammer for a while, when suddenly Albert Beefcake's music started up! Albert stepped out onto the entrance ramp and said that he considered Oozaru a buddy of his, but the cause the old blood stood for was about purification and that meant more than even friendship. So if he had to rar Oozaru, he would do it. Oozaru beckoned for the Super Beefer to bring it. Albert inched his way to the ring and slid in, only to be caught in the back with a shot with the sledge hammer! Oozaru tossed the weapon aside and picked Albo up and nailed him with a flatliner! Albert rolled to the outside and took a moment to get his breath. Albert managed to hit a cocobutt on Oozaru, but it wasn't anywhere near enough. Oozaru hit the lag buster and got the cover, but was caught from behind by Rhyno who appeared from out of the crowd! Rhyno beckoned for Albo to pick Oozaru up and he gored him! Rhyno and Albert headed to the back, leaving an irate Oozaru in the ring with a bittersweet victory.

Loopster made his way to the ring for a scheduled non-title match against Michael Lucifer, but Lucifer did not appear. Loopster stood in the ring looking unsure about Lucifer, when suddenly the lights dimmed and music started up. Suddenly a golden spotlight focused on the entrance way and a golden clad superstar stepped out and raised his hands to the crowd. It became clear the golden superstar was Michael Lucifer, as he made his bizarre entrance closer to the ring. Loopster held back laughter as the match got underway, Loopster attacked with a high kick to the head, and then in an incredible feat of strength managed to lift Lucifer above his head! Lucifer dropped Loopster with a hard spinebuster, and countered a cork screw with a big boot. Loopster tried for another press slam, but didn't have the strength to lift him, instead falling to a sidewalk slam counter. Lucifer hit the devil driver, but Loopster scored the something factor, and then an LPD! Loopster got the pin, but Lucifer got to his feet and clubbed Loopster in the back of the head and then propped the Eurasian champ up on the turnbuckle. Lucifer rubbed himself and then nailed the shattered dreams before heading to the back smugly.

At the back Jesseman, Albert and Stat-Man gathered around Michael Lucifer to have words with Shane Altmann. Lucifer said that thanks to the Super Friends he had seen the error of his evil ways, and through this revelation and managed to harness his control of the yellow bandana force to become a golden bandana master! He said his beautiful golden visage was a tribute to this revelation, and he would make sure no one forgot the shining name of Mickdust. Lucifer stopped to rub himself a little, before Jesseman took the mic. He said that the Super Friends stood for all things just, and there was nothing more just than the cause of the old blood. He said the Super Friends, the tag team champions gave their full support to the old blood, before racing away.

The Nomad made his way to the ring next to face Violent J in one on one competition. Violent J made his way to the ring in his VIP cart and jumped into the ring. He had a microphone in his hand and stepped right up to Nomad's face before talking. J said that ICWW was looking for a hero, and it wasn't Jesseman - it was him! J said that he would save ICWW from the hands of the deadly bore, Rhyno, and show them something new. J said once he was done in the ring with Nomad ICWW would never e..e..e..ever be the same again. Nomad shrugged and went to work on the JCW champion with a hard right hand, and then went off the ropes and caught him with a nice bulldog. J got to his feet and sent Nomad into the ropes, before scoring an amazing frankensteiner. Nomad got to his feet again and surprised Violent J with his red myst spit, and then dropped him with a mail bomb! Still blinded Violent J hooked up looking for a powerbomb, but fell victim to the bible black instead, and a three count. Nomad rolled to the outside and took the ring announcers chair, and used it to brutally bash the JCW champion. Nomad put a big dent in J's VIP cart before heading to the back, Violent J was not impressed.

The new heavyweight champion Jason Shamrock made his way to the ring next with a microphone. He said that at Dead or Alive III his conditioning and hard work had paid off, but he felt that the old blood had given him the unfair advantage he needed to take out Oozaru. He said he would bring honor to the championship like a true shoot fighting warrior. He said on Aftershock he would begin an eight-man tournament to name a number one contender for the championship belt. He then said he would defeat them fair and square. Banging stepped out and said Jason Shamrock was full of crud. He said Shamrock wasn't prestigious, he was a child. He said everyone knows the past prowess of Banging should automatically make him the number one contender. Shamrock said there was no chance in hell of that happening, and Banging said he would settle for just kicking the champions arse to show how the old blood do it. Banging entered the ring and Shamrock went straight on the offensive with stinging Thai kicks, and then a hard punch combo finished with a roundhouse kick. Banging threw Shamrock into the ropes and dropped him with a Samoan drop, and followed up with a strong knee drop. Shamrock tried to strike back with a belly to belly suplex, but Banging overpowered him and nailed him with the Auckland drop, and then signaled for the Kiwi bomb. Shamrock managed to counter, and hit looked to hit the wipeout, but Banging slipped out and planted Shamrock with a hard DDT and scored the cover. Rhyno joined Banging in the ring as the two stomped down on the fallen heavyweight champion. Oozaru raced to the ring and cleared the two old blood superstars with a sledge hammer, helping Shamrock up as ICWW: Civil Action came to a climatic conclusion.

Hardcore [Hardcore] - Rockey d. Ghrimm
Oozaru d. Albert Beefcake
Loopster d. Mickdust
The Nomad d. Violent J
No Holds Barred - Banging d. Jason Shamrock

Special mention:
The heavyweight champion takes his place against the old blood. He may have lost but he certainly made an impression on Rhyno.
