Supercard 93: The Chosen

Since early 2016. Damo has been calling himself "The Chosen One". It was a belief built on a lie, but at the 2017 Spring Classic Damo shocked the world by winning the Undisputed Championship! It was the culmination of a humble run of victories that former champion VenoMark failed to respect. No one was more shocked by Damo's win than VenoMark himself. He fully acknowledged that he took Damo lightly, but at Supercard 93: The Chosen he would just take back the title! May 21st, 2017, live in The Great Arena it's VenoMark/Damo II -- one of the most hotly anticipated rematches in years!

The highly anticipated rematch was to be a contest of preparation versus Damo's self-professed status as "The Chosen One"! The atmosphere was electric as the two nemeses faced off! It looked like it might be closed in the early going, but Damo's self-belief has clearly been built on a long simmering development of his fighting techniques. 2017 has been good to the UGP Battle Royal winner. It was even better at Supercard 93: The Chosen! In front of a stunned audience, Damo took control of the match, earning a convincing victory! The_Purple_Bunny may have become part of The United team in 2017, but his ultimate goal is the individual glory of winning his 7th Undisputed Championship in 2017! As Battle Royale winner, he came close to the record setting achievement at Ultimate Grand Prix VII, but glory eluded him. When "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile claimed an upset victory during the first edition of VS United, TPB's dream seemed to slip even further away! With CTR reeling from her Spring Classic loss, TPB took the opportunity to pounce! The resulting match was a soul destroying clash of contenders fighting on the absolute edge! With neither combatant willing to relent, they fought to the brink of absolute exhaustion! Like prize fighters in the final round, they charged each rare blow with their final reserves. After a scintillating main event defense at Pre-Show 93, the champs had the night off, leaving Oozaru & Banging to answer the challenge of their other Invasion rivals: Jason_Voorhees & edge! The Invasion were out to lock down the Duo titles - and score some payback for their derailing loss at The Spring Classic! Jason & edge may have conquered the Duo Top 10, but they couldn't suppress the dynamic Pacific Connection! The confident victory should almost certainly keep them in the title picture. After two highly competitive bouts, could the third time be the charm for The Pacific Connection? Watch this space!

9. United: Artanix defeated "American Nightmare" LordSkarlet in a total annihilation! [+MAX]
The American Nightmare LordSkarlet declared his Spring Classic Steel Cage win over United: Shoe the beginning of a Red Reign. His return at Supercard 93 was meant to continue the coronation, while avenging the fatal defeat of hydraslash during the April 24th edition of VS United. Artanix was the fighter responsible for The Fallen fighter's accidental decimation, but at Supercard 93, The United interim Captain was deliberate in his annihilation of LordSkarlet! Artanix showed absolutely no mercy as he swept the match with devastating efficiency! LordSkarlet was clearly still feeling the effects of the Steel Cage, and Artanix was all too happy to press every vulnerable injury in honor of Shoe. The fight eventuating in a ruthless MAX Damage win for The United! PR presented another fair challenge, but Mime is fast emerging as a stabilizing force for the KFL gold!

7. Genku defeated DArqueBishop in convincing fashion! [+1]
Since losing at UGP7, Genku has dissed everyone from The Pacific Connection, to league official Mick. The Invasion Bishop told Genku to get on board or shut the hell up -- igniting the match in a flurry of fists and fire! DArqueBishop kept on top of Genku throughout the fight, but the controversial combatant would not back down! Genku took control of the match, working hard to secure a convincing win.

6. Poasty (c) defeated Jerrod in a comprehensive victory! [+5] [Division 2 Championship]
A solid #1 contender's win at Pre-Show 93: Reconnecting... earned Jerrod a return shot at the Div.2 Championship. He fell short in his shot at Ultimate Grand Prix VII, challenging during a brief reign held by MKMaster. With the title back around Poasty's waist as of The Spring Classic, the weight of expectation was on his next big defense. He past the test of the 2017 Fighter For Europe at Pre-Show 93, and kept on his winning ways with a comprehensive victory over Jerrod! A solid victory giving Mark & Leroy more to consider as they fight their way to the top of the Duo ranks!

4. AlbertBeefcake did not appear for his match against DaemonX.
Evidence in The Case of The Italian Bishop has been mounting against DaemonX since the start. The Spring Classic revelation that DX handed Invasion Manager DArqueBishop his chess piece quickly connected him to a grander conspiracy through events from the past! It was surprising, then, that DaemonX showed up to answer AlbertBeefcake's challenge at Supercard 93, but The Beefer was nowhere to be seen! After a fruitless wait, DaemonX left the arena with many questions remaining.

3. MKMaster defeated "Mad Dog" Onryo [+1]
The New Generation may have collaborated at Pre-Show 92 and The Spring Classic to help deal with Baraka_MK's new enemies -- but "Mad Dog" Onryo has remained committed to their post-UGP split, finding himself in the hunt for the Div. 2 Championship! MKMaster lost the title last month, making him the perfect opponent to sure up Onryo's singles title prospects! He pitched a good game, taking a hard fight right up to the former champ. MKMaster had to dig deep, searching for an answer to Onryo's aggressive fighting style. Sekktor has been particularly zealous in his weekly pursuit of the man directly responsible - Artanix. At Supercard 93, Sekktor led a trio of Fallen fighters against an eclectic mix of The United. Hall of Famer Mimik captained the team of extremes that included rookie recruit zelse! A combination of inexperience and The Fallen's motivated aggression led to a surprisingly convincing victory for members of The Fallen. All part of the promise of a Red Reign by team leader LordSkarlet, who would return to handle Artanix later in the night.

1. "Brexiteers" Liam & nif defeated Politics & Menas in a close fought match! [+1]
At UGP7, Politics & Menas were a third wheel who came out on top against Semi Finalists from the 2017 Grand Prix Warm-Up. They followed up their major win at the Spring Classic, fending off McDaniel & fraysol in a two-on-two rematch. With "Brexiteers" Liam & nif finding a stream of success over the last month, destiny conspired to give the other part of the UGP three-way a shot at evening the score. Liam went solo to be Runner-Up in the 2017 Fighter For Europe tournament, but there was no lack of cohesion between The Brexiteers. The success continued to follow with a well earned victory!
