Last weekend, Oozaru stunned The Great Arena when he fought his way to victory at the 2017 Mid-Year Grand Slam tournament! The win recalled his legendary days competing for the International and Heavyweight Championships in ICWW: an organization celebrating its 15th Anniversary in August with a special presentation of the tenth Dead Or Alive in The Great Arena!
DOAX will take place on August 10th: the anniversary of ICWW's inaugural matches! So impressed by his performance in the Mid-Year tournament' officials will grant Oozaru the opportunity to enter DOA as the Undisputed Champion by granting him a title shot at Supercard 96: Royal Roulette!
The match-up won't be completely unknown territory to "The Chosen One" Damo! He competed briefly in ICWW as "The Godfather", and even won Olympic Gold fighting alongside Oozaru's Pacific Connection partner! Could this be the key to defending the championship?
The night that sees thirty fighters enter at random to compete for a guaranteed title opportunity will also featured a #1 Contender's match between two of Damo's biggest rivals!
