Friday Night Fights (June 2, 2017)

Tension permeated the air as The Great Arena was still reeling from last week's shock scenes of hostile takeover when Genku staged a coup against The Invasion! Everybody suspected a follow-up was coming during this week's Friday Night Fights, but it didn't happen until the end of the night!

Earlier bouts saw a modest representation for The Invasion. Rhyno scored solo retribution for fallen partner Grayback at Pre-Show 94, but ]{0MBAT & tabmok99s_wife returned fire with a win against Rhyno and his new partner Zengeance. It was a better result for a solo WilliamRegal when he took on the one-man Greek Revolution - maxilos. The win was something of an upset, interrupting a push toward the Div.2 Championship for maxilos.

The Division 2 Championship was on "Mad Dog" Onryo's mind when he faced arch-rival G0LD. He hoped to avenge his loss in a triple-threat Division 2 title contender match at Pre-Show 94, but it seems the tide is slowly turning against Onryo. G0LD fought hard to resist his rival, putting Onryo's title dreams on the back burner. Shinnokxz challenges for the gold this weekend - a match G0LD will be watching with interest!

Later in the night; Genku finally brought Jason_Voorhees & edge with him into the arena to address the current state of The Invasion, and their future in the Duo Division. He reiterated The Invasion's role as a counter-measure against the "failed" conspiracy of bad booking. Before he could get much further, Genku was interrupted by somebody 'trying to screw with him'!

VenoMark, MKRocket & blacksaibot stormed The Great Arena in a scene reminiscent of VM's attack at Supercard 89: Breaking Point! Genku had dared VenoMark to try something like this when he challenged him to a match at this weekend's Supercard 94: Red Reign! He thought The Invasion would provide a numbers advantage, but VenoMark's back-up turned the brawl into an even matched contest of trios! They completely bamboozled The Invasion, overwhelming them for a hard hitting +4 victory! Genku was left rattled and fuming with anger as Friday Night Fights came to a close!

The main event sees the return of ElJobber to test "The Chosen One" Damo for the Undisputed Championship!
