The Duo Division were under the spotlight at Pre-Show 76, but it's the rise of The Invasion that seems to be making the biggest waves. This week's KFL Championship winners Banging and The_Hurricane made big gains in the solo ranks: Banging all the way to the Top 3, now in the company of the Undisputed and Division 2 champions!
In a surprising development, McDaniel & fraysol were the combo to benefit most from a Duo Division spotlight. They entered the Top 20 two-man stakes thanks to their upstart victory over established team JoelKatz & KittyKat! With UGP Season and new weekly programming twisting the league in unexpected ways, it's tough to tell if this is the coming of one of the hot new teams of 2016, or just a momentary lapse. With Unknown265 & mwgrant0 about to challenge for the gold, and Politics & Menas narrowly missing out - now the #2 Duo - things are certainly getting exciting!
With The Invasion now fielding their own weekly Monday night event and asserting their independence, we acknowledge for the first time a separate Invasion Ranking ladder. Appropriately, reigning KFL Champion Banging tops the list, with outgoing champ and spokesman ShawnMichaels close behind in second. With The Invasion setting themselves up to fight amongst themselves, it will be interesting to see if this creates any fractures in an otherwise united force.
