Tournament 64 Begins Next Week!

Just when you thought there couldn't be any more action than there already is - UGP Season delivers another bend in the road! The second Grand Slam Tournament of 2016 kicks off next week with a 128-fighter single elimination bracket! The Tournament 64: Grand Prix Warm-Up bracket will be randomly drawn and revealed as each match unfolds beginning Monday, March 14th!

To accommodate the tournament action: Monday Night Invasion and Friday Night Fights will both take a one week hiatus. Competitors from both programs will be included in the random draw, so there'll be no disadvantage.

The annual Grand Prix Warm-Up gives fighters a final opportunity to prepare themselves for the test of Ultimate Grand Prix -- but it comes with risks! Those unprepared face injury or elimination before the biggest Supercard of the year. The lure of claiming a Grand Slam title may be powerful, but some will inevitably skip the major to preserve themselves for their UGP run! At the same time, after Tournament 63: Grand Slam Launch's omission -- this will be the first bracket open to Hall of Famers!

The Grand Prix Warm-Up has undergone an evolution since inception in 2011. It began as a Division 2 feature event, but has grown into one of the four prestigious 128-fighter Grand Slam Tournaments that take place every year! Reigning Undisputed Champion ElJobber is the defending Grand Slam winner with his win at Tournament 63: Grand Slam Launch 2016. Who will be next?

Former Grand Prix Warm-Up Finalists:
1. Shoe d. Casselman - Tournament 4: Grand Prix Warm-Up (April 2, 2011)
2. ElJobber d. Violent`J - Tournament 12: Grand Prix Warm-Up 2012 (March 10, 2012)
3. Genku d. Crow - Tournament 27: Grand Prix Warm-Up 2013 (March 2, 2013)
4. Ratt d. ElJobber - Tournament 40: Grand Prix Warm-Up 2014 (March 16, 2014)
5. CaTigeReptile d. DECEPTION - Tournament 52: Grand Prix Warm-Up (March 8, 2015)

Tournament 64: Grand Prix Warm-Up 2016 begins right after Supercard 76 - March 14th-20th!

Before the tournament don't miss Supercard 76: Ratt in a Cage this Sunday, March 13th! For the first time in history a Steel Cage will entrap Ratt and his arch-nemesis Crow in a bloody one on one fight. PLUS: "The Hitman" DECEPTION challenges ElJobber for the Undisputed Championship! And much more!
