They've been unofficially exiled from The Great Arena since a nightmare run at Ultimate Grand Prix VI, now The Invasion will fight for control over Monday Nights in the main event of Pre-Show 78: Control!
Team leader ShawnMichaels will be out to field his best team to make up for being spread thin at the major. Helping him stack those odds is Jason_Voorhees & edge -- who've already challenged "The Alliance" Oozaru & PaganFreak to a grudge match spinning out of the 5-on-5 encounter at UGP6!
Other fighters who won't be part of The Invasion's team include Rhyno & Grayback, who'll attempt to fight their way back up the Duo Division ranks against hot team rxvt & deadly. Likewise, the combo also known as "Catch 22", Ironize & AcidicWonder, will take on classic couple Dolce & Bofh!
The Duo Division will be on show throughout Pre-Show 78! Loopster will pursue frustrations with McDaniel, who eliminated him from the UGP Battle Royal, and fended off a grudge match challenge on the April 4th Monday Night Invasion! Partner fraysol will flank his friend as Loopster seeks the aid of a mystery opponent! There's no mystery who'll comprise The Greek Crisis! maxilos & proXade will be back in action when they challenge the decadent "American Dream" of Duo Division legends: CCShadow & Scott-Howell!
In one of the most bitter Pre-Show 78 encounters: kingjolly will finally get a shot at evening the score with the man who put him on the shelf in January - ElJobber! The sidelining loss derailed a spectacular run for kingjolly who made the Quarter Finals of the Grand Slam Launch! Back and fully healed, will he be able to outmatch the raw power of one of the league's deadliest fighters?
All this PLUS: Twenty of the very best Division 2 fighters will compete in an All-In Elimination style Battle Royal to earn the right to face Benjamin for the Division 2 Championship at Supercard 78: Spring Classic! Only one fighter can earn the shot - you won't want to miss it!
