Kombat Fight League: Friday Night Fights (2/24)

Superstition in The Great Arena has long attributed mystic properties to the fateful number three, and the legend appeared to come true in this week's Friday Night Fights! "Mr. Daruma" m0s revealed a powerful side not entirely seen in KFL thus far, unleashing a +3 impact on former Undisputed Champion, The_Purple_Bunny! It was m0s' brother, the recently ranked knickxasawrrrr, however, who stamped his name in the numerology of FNF Week 4, going 3-0! The unanswered victory over seasoned opponent, Jerrod, secured a second week at the top of the ranks for the relative newcomer! He'll test his luck outside the KFL this weekend, when he challenges his brother's Duo Division partner, Nemesis316, to a bout at Pre-Show 21: Tower Fallout!

SubMan799 elevated himself to an impressive victory over another top level Undisputed Champion, Ninja_Mime! Mime has struggled to live up to his reputation in Year Two of competition, KFL only serving to compound his struggles. Ghostdragon had better luck, returning to competition with a win over CaTigeReptile, while The Great Genku and jack4813 took the week off.

Despite arriving as one of the hot new names in The Next Phase -- Nephrite suffered another defeat, the victim of match-ups with big time experienced opponents like Scott-Howell! Nephrite may sit 16th (from 18) in the KFL ranks, but his 1-3 record won't impede what's shaping up to a career making 2012 in The Great Arena! redman, on the other hand, finds himself still winless, 0-4 at the bottom of the ranks after a good effort came up short, against dibula. Despite his struggles, redman is sure to become a stalwart of KFL, his winless streak only building him more crowd support!

KFL Friday Night Fights - Week 4 Results:
1. "Mr. Daruma" m0s d. The_Purple_Bunny in a convincing +3 victory!
2. SubMan799 d. Ninja_Mime in a close fought surprise result!
3. Scott-Howell d. Nephrite
4. Ghostdragon d. CaTigeReptile in a solid +2 win.
5. knickxasawrrrr d. Jerrod in a convincing +2 win!
6. Killswitch d. Zmoke by a narrow margin!
7. Methuselah6463 d. Jironobou in a close match.
8. dibula d. redman in a close fought match.

After four weeks of Friday Night Fights, the Kombat Fight League rankings are beginning to take some sort of informative shape. It remains to be seen if the rankings will have any baring on future competition. For now, it simply offers bragging rights to the undefeated knickxasawarrrr, and an objective on the horizon for the fighters just outside the top spot! SubMan799 stakes his claim in third, while The Great Genku chomps at the bit for the kind of domination he's experience in the "universal" ranks of The Union of the Human League. Methuselah6463 continues to defy his inexperience, holding second spot in a field beyond his weight class! Jironobou was none too happy about his loss last week -- he's sure to be fuming after disappearing down the list courtesy of the newcomer!

Kombat Fight League Top Five:
#1 (3-0-0) knickxasawrrrr [+5]
