ICWW: Highway To Hell

The ICWW arena was aflame as ICWW: Highway to Hell kicked off after a lengthy wait! Buddy Luv and Stat-Man were ringside, and Buddy Luv reminded Stat-Man that finally the mysterious Highway to Hell match would be unveiled when Marz defended his world title against Michael Lucifer. Stat-Man agreed that was where the money was, but said no one could count out some of the other top matches, including the Marc Scott/Statix match. Buddy Luv mentioned all of the talent on the card, and then cast his attention to a special surprise opening match, much to the shock of fans and Stat-Man. He said that a special match had been added to the card, for the enjoyment of fans.

Jobber Royale
Dez Burnett vs Pagan Freak vs Devon Storm vs Chris Jericho vs Kurt Angle vs Tito Ortiz vs Patrick Mannion

The seven man battle royal match started as the seven men went straight on the attack, with an eruption of carnage in the ring. Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho appeared to be working together as they double teamed Patrick Mannion, while Tito Ortiz busted Crowbar open with savage elbows to the head. Pagan Freak sent Burnett into the corner with a big boot, and slammed him with a devastating back breaker. Burnett managed to recover, and surprise Pagan Freak who was double teaming Ortiz from behind with a missile dropkick. Burnett whipped off the ropes and looked to take Pagan Freak out with a crossbody, but he found himself caught, and dumped over the top rope. Mannion was fending off the double team attack from Jericho and Angle, sending Angle over the top with an f-five! Jericho took full advantage of his diverted attentions and slammed him down with a bulldog. Meanwhile Tito Ortiz was dazed in the corner as Devon Storm and Pagan Freak commenced battle. Storm managed to duck a big boot, and take it to the Freak with a jaw breaker. With Freak reeling, both Ortiz and Storm eliminated him with a double clothesline. As Devon Storm went to high- five Ortiz, he found himself redirected over the top, a fatal error! It was down to Jericho, Ortiz and Mannion as the three squared up, Mannion and Jericho looking to double team the Huntington Beach bad boy, but Jericho turned on Mannion and managed to clothesline him over the top rope! Jericho went to work with chops against Ortiz, but they seemed to have no effect, Ortiz unleashing a barrage of elbows, before tossing Jericho over the top to win the battle royal!
Winner: Tito Ortiz via over the ropes elimination [15:57]

Hardcore championship match
The Godfather [c] versus The Deputy

The Godfather danced his way to the ring with his hardcore hoes representing. In the ring the Godfather took a microphone and welcomed everyone aboard the ho-train! He then got serious, and said a hardcore match was no place for his lovely ladies, and with some resistance, he sent them to the back, just as the Deputy made his way to the ring. The bell sounded as the Deputy went to work with his nightstick, attacking the back of the Godfather. He rolled to the outside, and pulled a table out from under the ring, and set it up on the outside, before going to work once again with a DDT! He rolled the Godfather to the outside, and went to retrieve a chair while the Godfather tried to use the announcers desk to gather his balance. Deputy returned with the steel chair, but had it booted right into his face! The champ stomped down on the Deputy, before retrieving his nightstick and doing a number on him! The Deputy struggled to his feet, and slammed Godfather with a Samoan drop. He managed to pull the Godfather up, and lifted him onto his shoulders, looking for the electric chair death drop through the table, but the Godfather managed to land some punches and use his body weight to fall safely from the Deputy's shoulders. With the Deputy down, Godfather hoisted him up and slammed him through the table with a Pimp Drop! He went for the cover in the rubble, and earned himself the three count to retain.
Winner: The Godfather via pin fall [6:32]

Big Beefer prize money match
Shaggy 2 Dope versus Rockey Rakesh

The new Y2Juggalo made his way to the ring for the match to decide the winner of the Big Beefer contest. The crowd was fairly split, as Rockey Rakesh made his mambo entrance. The little firecracker jumped into the ring and kicked things off straight away, attacking Shaggy with a boxing combination. Shaggy managed to turn the tables, taking Rakesh down with a dangerous DDT, following it up with a big spinning leg drop. Shaggy clapped up a storm, giving Rakesh time to make it to his feet, only to walk right into a short powerbomb from 2 Dope! Shaggy stomped down on Rakesh, before picking him up and signaling for the Psycho Flip! Rakesh managed to telegraph it,
and countered with a swinging neck breaker! Both men were down as Rakesh crawled over, in an attempt to make a cover, but Shaggy kicked out immediately.  Rakesh tied up for the Indian powerbomb, but found himself getting some hang-time with a back body drop! Shaggy 2 Dope rolled Rakesh up, and scored the three count! Gwen Lucifer entered the ring and raised Shaggy 2 Dope's hand, before presenting him with a cash for one thousand dollars.
Winner: Shaggy 2 Dope via pin fall [4:45]

Backstage Shane Altmann was with the Masked Marvel, he asked if fans would have an opportunity to finally learn who was beneath the mask. In his rather, disappointing, Spanish accent, the Marvel told Altmann that he had a mission and it was imperative that his identity remain hidden until it was reached. The Marvel said he didn't understand why people kept calling him Mr. Alaska, and said he didn't get an opportunity to watch Northern Exposure so he asked someone to explain. Altmann asked the Marvel if he knew Hulk Hogan, to which the Marvel said, "ara", and left.

I Suck match
Loopster versus Chaos Drone

Loopster headed to the ring, as the crowd chanted "you suck". Chaos Drone didn't get a much better response, as he raced to the ring to get in Loopster's face. The bell sounded, and Loopster took a microphone and told Chaos Drone that he would never say the words, "I suck". The bell sounded again, the referee declaring Chaos Drone the winner. Loopster looked around confused, before attacking Chaos with the Suck Factor! He stomped down on the Drone, before being pulled off by the referee. Loopster tried to level the referee with a clothesline, but got shoved onto his ass for his troubles. A disgruntled Suck One made his way to the backstage area, as Chaos Drone did his best to celebrate the victory.
Winner: Chaos Drone via "I suck" [0:58]

Buddy Luv and Stat-Man discussed the disappointing result for Loopster, but said that the rivalry between the former Suck Squad combination looked to be far from over. Stat-Man then speculated that Mike Trell was returning to ICWW, in the guise of the Masked Marvel. Buddy Luv gave Stat-Man a filthy look, before announcing that they were just moments away from the long awaited match between the Rock and the Nomad. A vignette was shown highlighting the long running feud.

The Nomad versus The Rock
The Nomad made his way to the ring to a standing ovation as fans got ready to kick off for the most built match on the Highway to Hell card. The Rock paced his way to the ring, in no hurry to get into the ring with the Nomad, despite a month of taunting. The Rock continued to play chicken, until he allowed himself to be distracted by taunts from the crowd, allowing Nomad to bring him in with a hip toss of sorts. The bell sounded as the Rock sprung to his feet, running right into a forearm smash, and up once again into a clothesline. The Nomad stomped down on the Rock, shouting trash before mimicking the Rock's taunts. Rocky rolled to the outside to gain his composure, but the Nomad followed, continuing his explosive assault. Nomad slammed the Rock face first into the crowd rail, and looked to repeat it, but the Rock managed to block and reverse it! The Rock began to gain some momentum, whipping the Nomad into the outer side of the turnbuckle! With the Nomad reeling, Rock directed him to the announcers desk where Buddy Luv and Stat-Man were commentating, and rolled him onto it. Rock taunted before tying up for the Rock Bottom, but the Nomad found a second wind, and struck him with elbows to the head, countering the move with the bible black through the table! Nomad picked the bloody Rock up, and whipping him into the ring, before climbing the turnbuckle. Nomad flew from upstairs, striking the staggering, bloodied Rock with an axe handle smash. It was academic from there, Nomad scoring the three count.
Winner: The Nomad via pin fall [8:19]

Backstage Shane Altmann had Tito Ortiz with him, who told Altmann that he had ended Jason Shamrock's career, and he cleaned house in the battle royal earlier. Ortiz told Altmann that he was the greatest pure fighter the ICWW had ever seen, and he was going to wreak havoc on ICWW. Altmann turned his attention back to the camera with Ortiz gone, to report that neither Michael Lucifer or Marz had arrived in the arena yet, which wasn't a good thing by any means.

Heavyweight championship match
Chris Benoit versus Rhyno [c]

The challenger headed to the ring, looking extremely focused, getting only his second heavyweight title shot in ICWW history. Benoit hit the ropes as Rhyno's entrance music hit the arena PA. The crowd filled with boos as the entrance way remained empty. Benoit and the referee spoke back and forth, before going to the ring announcer, who announced the match to be a no contest, much to the disgust of fans and officials alike.
Winner: No contest [0:00]

Benoit remained in the ring and said that he had come to fight, and he wasn't leaving until he got one. The ring announcer declared that due to his absence, Rhyno would forfeit the Heavyweight championship. Benoit then said that he was calling anyone out to fight him for the belt - the Nomad answered.

Heavyweight championship match
Chris Benoit versus The Nomad

Benoit went on the attack with stinging knife edge chops, driving Nomad back before stunning him with an axe handle smash. With the Nomad dazed, Benoit dropped him with a scoop slam, going to the mat with a sleeper hold. Nomad managed to slip out of the hold, and surprised Benoit with the red mist! With Benoit reeling, Nomad struck him blind with a wild crescent kick! Nomad stomped down on Benoit before picking him up and hitting a piledriver. Nomad went for the cover, but Benoit kicked out, giving him opportunity to take Nomad down with a belly to belly suplex. Benoit shot the Nomad into the ropes, and caught him with a tilt a whirl backbreaker, driving his spine onto his knee hard. The crippler looked to send Nomad across the ring with a catapult toss, but the Nomad managed to counter it, shifting his weight and sending Benoit hung across the top rope! From there the second Bible Black of the night sealed one Canadian's fate, while another, picked up his second win of the night, and a Heavyweight championship.
Winner: The Nomad via pin fall [4:46]

Statix versus Marc Scott
Green sparks shot out at the arena as the sensation Statix made his way to a huge ovation. One of the most popular superstars today was ready to take on one of his most zealous despisers in Marc Scott. Buddy Luv and Stat-Man focused on how important a main event win for Statix would be, to help further the momentum of his already prospering career. Scott carried a table with him to the ring, and despite objections from the referee, set it up in the corner of the ring. Scott lay on the table, tempting Statix to slam him through it, but the sensation showed a greater intelligence, as Scott went on the attack with a clothesline. He stomped down on Statix, before sending him into the ropes, allowing a shift in momentum as Statix took the opportunity to strike with a spinning heel kick, and built on it, attacking with a spinning leg drop. Scott retreated to the outside, taking a moment to gather himself, but it wasn't a wise move, Statix getting some air time with a huge swan dive over the top rope! Marc Scott managed to nail Statix with a low blow, using the apron to hide it from the referee. Back in the ring Scott began to mount an offense, slamming Statix with a vertical suplex and then picking him up for a thunderous clothesline. Marc Scott whipped Statix into the table in the corner, but Statix sprung to life, reversing the positions! Statix was about to slam Scott through the table with a shoulder thrust, but held back just in time, and instead sent him over with a monkey toss! Statix defied gravity, using the table to run and propel himself off with a cross body, scoring the cover!
Winner: Statix via pin fall [3:46]

In the back the Pacific Connection joined Shane Altmann for a few words. Just moments away from an attempt to capture the tag team championships for a third time, both superstars were looking intense. They said that over the past months the Hurricane and especially Matt Hardy wanted to play games, but their time was up, and their number was theirs. Oozaru laughed, and said some people were calling the pair the Perfect Storm, when in reality, they were the perfect jobbers to allow them, to become three time champions.

Tag Team championship match
The Hurricane & Matt Hardy [c] vs the Pacific Connection

The tag champions made their way to the ring first up, receiving a mixed reaction. The Hurricane definitely seemed to be carrying the support for the champs. The Pacific Connection follow, with the crowd behind them as they raced in, wasting no time going to work on the champs. The referee managed to recapture some control, as Banging and Matt Hardy opened the match, exchanging right hands, before Banging made some ground, taking him back with an axe kick. Banging made the tag as Hardy went down with a devastating double team attack from Oozaru and Banging. Oozaru manhandled Hardy, tossing him across the ring before picking him up and connecting with the full nelson bomb! Oozaru stomped down on the fallen Hardy, as the Hurricane tried to get the crowd behind them. Mattitude gathered his strength, crawling toward his corner but Oozaru was quick to pull him back, spanking him in the Pacific corner of the ring. Banging tagged in, and dropped a big leg drop on Matt Hardy, before picking him up for a Kiwi bomb! Banging tagged in the juggernaut, Oozaru, who finished the already limp Hardy with the flatliner, before making an easy cover. Oozaru and Banging celebrated their win, each mounting a corner with the belts, while Hurricane tried to tend to Matt Hardy in the middle of the ring. As the Pacific Connection retreated to the back, Hurricane tried to help Hardy to his feet, who took a swing at him, apparently not interested in any help. The Hurricane took exception to this, and clamped down, chokeslaming Matt Hardy in the ring!
Winner: Oozaru via pin fall [9:15]

Backstage the Deputy was loitering as Stat-Man and Buddy Luv speculated a possible no-show, with neither Marz or Michael Lucifer arriving in the arena. Buddy Luv then revealed, that both superstars would be some distance from the arena, where they would be loaded into the back of a semi-trailer. Then, as the trailer drives to the arena, they have to survive, and then exit the trailer once in the arena, where they must fight to the ring, and then snatch the International championship from a pole mounted to a turnbuckle in the ring. The Deputy was backstage, the special enforcer sporting a bandage on his head from his hardcore match early in the night.

Highway to Hell International championship match
Michael Lucifer versus Marz [c]

With cameras mounted in the back of the trailer, Buddy Luv and Stat-Man were able to commentate as Michael Lucifer tossed Marz into the wall across the trailer. Lucifer soon lost his footing, as the trailer navigated the bumpy road, metaphoric of the road to Dead Or Alive 4. Marz went on the attack, using his lower centre of gravity to advantage, but Lucifer grabbed Marz in the death grip, sending him back with a throat thrust! Lucifer tossed Marz into the corner of the trailer, consequently destroying the mounted camera, leaving Buddy Luv and Stat-Man to speculate as the trailer stormed it's way to the arena. Once in the parking lot, it was back to business for the commentary team as an eerie stillness filled the parking lot. Suddenly Michael Lucifer tossed Marz through the doors of the trailer, following, pounding down on Marz, showing some signs of stiffness. The Deputy watched on as Michael Lucifer attacked with hard shots, but Marz countered with a drop toe hold onto the unforgiving concrete. Marz picked Lucifer up, dragging him through the backstage area, using a metal pole to whip him toward the ring. Lucifer managed to shake off the attack, tossing Marz through a table, despite perhaps a knee injury. Making their way to ringside, Michael Lucifer slammed Marz on the metal entrance ramp, when suddenly the Masked Marvel made his way out! The Deputy tried to drive the Marvel away from the action, but he cocobutted the enforcer aside! The Deputy produced a tranquilizer gun, and shot the Masked Marvel in the ass! With the Masked Marvel out cold, the Deputy ripped his mask off, revealing Albert Beefcake! Stat-Man and Buddy Luv bickered about whether or not it was obvious it was the Beefer, while Marz and Michael Lucifer continued toward ringside, Lucifer taking Marz down with a big boot to the back of the head. Lucifer picked Marz up and then dropped him on the outside with a tombstone piledriver! Lucifer picked Marz up again and whipped him into the apron. A battle of punches, as Marz managed to fight Lucifer off with stinging chops between blocks, but Lucifer sent Marz reeling with a throat thrust. It wasn't enough to keep him back, Marz giving it his all to jab Lucifer with a thrust kick, and a swinging neck breaker. Marz used the opportunity, jumping into the ring and going for the turnbuckle, fighting off fatigue, but Lucifer staggered to his feet, and made his way to the apron while Marz climbed to the top rope, and Lucifer grabbed him in the death grip, holding him still! Lucifer then took Marz from the top rope to the outside with a top rope chokeslam, as Buddy Luv, Stat-Man and the crowd went insane! Both men were down on the outside, but began to stir as Lucifer struggled to stand, one of his legs giving out. Marz staggered into the ring past Lucifer, as he tried to pull himself into the ring, unable to do it though, Marz snatching the title and victory from the hands of Lucifer.
Winner: Marz via title retrieval [19:37]

After the show, Marz was joined by Violent J during the celebrations, while Michael Lucifer was taken to the back on a stretcher, accompanied by his wife, Gwen Lucifer.
