ICWW: Bloody Sunday

ICWW: Bloody Sunday  August 10, 2003
Pagan Freak versus Shaggy 2 Dope
The two superstars put on a quick paced performance, allowing Shaggy 2 Dope to take control of the slightly less agile superstar in Pagan Freak. Before long Shaggy hit the Psycho Flip, and covered the Freak.
Winner: Shaggy 2 Dope

Tag Team match with special guest referee Chris Jericho
Loopster & Kurt Angle versus Chaos Drone & The Rock

The crumbling Suck Squad found themselves at each other's necks as the match opened with pure chaos. Chris Jericho had no interest in gaining order in the match, reducing it to a hardcore brawl. Angle and the Rock began exchanging blows in the aisle, while Loopster and Chaos Drone took it to each other. Finally Chris Jericho counted Angle and Rock out, declaring himself the winner and
king of the world. The five squabbled to the back.
Winner: No contest

Backstage Shaggy 2 Dope approached his old friend Violent J, and told him that after he left, he paid tribute by assuming the role of the Y2Juggalo. Violent J put his hand to Shaggy's face, and told him that it wasn't necessary for him to continue. According to Violent J, Shaggy 2 Dope was the new Y2Juggalo. The two superstars hugged.

Pink slip match
The Deputy versus Devon Storm

A scrappy contest from start to finish, both superstars starting the match with their trademark weapons in hand. The Crowbar ultimately overcame the nightstick with fierce brutality. After the match, Storm spent a 'moment' with his crowbar, before running through the crowd, leaving an unemployed and batter Deputy in the ring.
Winner: Devon Storm

Heavyweight championship match
The Nomad [c] versus Albert Beefcake

To the surprise of so many, the Nomad upped the stakes in his match, granting Albert Beefcake a shot at the heavyweight championship. It was a close fought battle, but the Beefer's superior strength, and drive to win allowed him to pull out the shock upset with the Albo bomb! The Nomad shouted abuse at the crowd, and threats of retirement, bringing the possibility that he may leave ICWW, the same as he entered.
Winner: Albert Beefcake, new Heavyweight champion

Backstage Shane Altmann was with Jason Shamrock. Shamrock told Altmann that his rival, Tito Ortiz, had lied when he said he incapacitated him. It was entirely true that Ortiz did attack him, and even kept him out of action, but he wasn't incapacitated. Shamrock promised to destroy Ortiz later in the night, and make him tap out. A celebrating Albert Beefcake ran past with the Heavyweight championship, giving Shamrock a loud, "Rar", before busting his way to the back.

Hardcore championship match
The Hurricane [c] versus The Godfather

Although their lead up only brief, the rivalry between these two could be seen as they squared up to start the match. The Godfather looked to use his cane to control the match, but the Hurricane quickly disarmed him and utilized some of his amazing high flying arsenal to catch the Godfather stunned, finishing it with the shining wizard.
Winner: The Hurricane, still Hardcore champion

No Holds Barred
Jason Shamrock versus Tito Ortiz

In one of the most anticipated matches on the card, the up and coming Ortiz had his honor to defend against old rival, Jason Shamrock. Ortiz took credit for Shamrock's extended absence, but soon felt the brunt of his words. Despite trademark elbows from Ortiz, Shamrock managed to take the fight to the ground, finishing it with the ankle lock, after a devastating belly to belly suplex. Shamrock continued the assault after the match, relinquishing his aggression when faced with a fine.
Winner: Jason Shamrock

Tag Team championship match
The Pacific Connection [c] versus Marc Scott & Chris Benoit

Marc Scott, the mystery CEOs apparent chosen one, fully capitalized on his title match, going straight to work on Banging as the match opened. Banging was distracted, clearly wanting a piece of Benoit, and he got it after a Samoan drop and pin fall attempt, when Benoit showed great sense to break the hold. With the referee distracted, Benoit and Scott looked to break Oozaru into tiny pieces with a double chair shot to the head and legs. Banging managed to save the belts, going off the top with a missile drop kick before finishing Benoit with the Kiwi bomb.
Winners: Banging & Oozaru, still Tag Team champions

Statix made his way to the ring with two security guards who slapped a pair of cuffs on the still dazed Marc Scott! According to Statix, the mystery CEO had not chosen Scott, nor had any of his recent orders been true. Statix revealed to fans that Marc Scott was responsible for hacking into ICWW's computers, and using this to subtly improve his situations by posing as the CEO through e-mail.

Statix versus Violent J
In his returning match Violent J was met with a standing ovation, looking to stop the rising sensation in his tracks. Statix was more than respectful, but when it came down to business he was all fight, sending Violent J over the top with a flying kick! Violent J was able to come back from the face of certain doom, sending the crowd into a frenzy after hitting the scissors kick and then clamping down the walls of juggalo! Statix was able to escape the hold, but not the psycho flip. Violent J mounted the turnbuckle as the crowd went absolutely wild, ushering in a convincing return.
Winner: Violent J

Casket International championship match
Marz [c] versus Michael Lucifer

With the world title on the line, the arena fell into silence for the first time in the night as the ominous figure of the challenger stalked his way to the ring. Marz surprised Lucifer, leaping out of the casket and attacking with the strap from behind! Still bruised and scarred from the Highway to Hell match, both superstars battled with all their souls. Marz was stunned when he came out of the springboard kick worse than Lucifer, who appeared to be impossible to knock down. The champion looked for the spiral bomb, a move difficult to hit on someone so big even without fatigue, which proved evident as Lucifer shoved his nemesis off and took him down with a tombstone piledriver. After several attempts throughout the night, Lucifer was finally able to shove Marz into the casket, and recapture the International championship. Gwen Lucifer joined her husband as the event wound up, the spirit of vengeance finally content.
Winner: Michael Lucifer, new International champion
