Ultimate Grand Prix VII was still in the air as the Monday Night Games returned to the scene of one of the biggest Supercards in history! Many fighters were still recovering less than twenty-four hours later, but a select few re-doubled their efforts after results that will stay with them forever.
"The Guardian" CaTigeReptile lost more than the KFL Championship in her match with United: Mime. Her defeat supported the claim that the KFL Women's experiment was only weakening the title, and exploiting a division incapable of sustaining competition.
With United: zelse looking to settle an on-going feud with jess, CTR volunteered to play Guardian, and prove the women of the league can match any one! Mime stepped in to partner The United's newest recruit in the non-title main event. A grudge match that ended in a confident victory for The United pairing, delivering yet another blow to the concept of the KFL Women's revolution.
UGP7 was the scene of a surprising loss for the Duo pairing of The New Generation. Baraka_MK arrived on Monday with the belief their defeat was a call for he and Onryo to sharpen their individual fighting skills. He found a willing challenger during The Games in the form of GreenLantern. Despite a willful performance, GL couldn't resist a +3 beating from the solo BMK!
Sekktor was representing The Fallen in competition on his own, as well. hydraslash & legoslayer10 had his back in a challenge against UGP Battle Royal Runner-Up United: Artanix. Sekktor had taken out zelse during 30-fighter Battle Royal in a continuation of hostilities between The Fallen and The United. Artanix had no trouble scoring a moral victory for his team, executing a solid win in the night's semi main.
Team leaders LordSkarlet and United: Shoe were notably absent from the Monday Night Games after two high-profile bouts at UGP. LordSkarlet escaped his Steel Cage Fight relatively unscathed, and although Shoe was comprehensively beaten by Poasty, the two shared a momentary peace. Both fighters are sure to return to action in the coming weeks.
