Tempers were flaring as Civil Action came on the air, with the tag team lottery kicking off, Big Beefer second round elimination and a number one contender match between Violent J, and the recently returned Patrick Mannion! Buddy Luv and Stat-Man were excited, particularly about the tag team lottery where the only known team was Hurricane and Hardy! Stat-Man put his money on their opponents.

Albert Beefcake strutted his way to the ring with the next round of elimination from Big Beefer! He took to the microphone and let out a big, "RAR", much to the pleasure of the crowd. He said that there was a special announcement he had to make regarding this round's elimination. He said that under special circumstances the person to be eliminated would in fact not be one of the nominees. Rather, due to an injury which will keep him out of action for quite some time, Jason Shamrock would be eliminated this round by default. The crowd was stunned by the news, but Albo wasn't finished. He then said that it was now time to begin the tag team lottery, so he would like to introduce his partner for the evening - Shaggy 2 Dope, and their opponents, two men who need and deserve no introduction - Loopster and Chaos Drone!

Loopster and Chaos Drone moped their way to the ring for the chance to win a shot at the tag team champions at Reckoning. Loopster and Shaggy started in the ring, Shaggy going straight to work with a stiff face first DDT, and a big slappy leg drop! Loopster tried to crawl to his corner, but Shaggy cut him off, taking him back with a big belly to back! Chaos Drone sat down on the apron while Shaggy 2 Dope handed Loopster his back end in a basket, before tagging in the Alaskan bear-whale. Albo took Loopster down with a killer coco butt and busted it up for the crowd before hitting the Albo bomb! Loopster made the blind tag to his unsuspecting partner while Albert tagged in Shaggy. Shaggy hit the psycho flip on the Drone, scoring the pin.

Backstage Violent J was with Paul Heyman fretting over the Big Beefer competition. He told Paul that it was crucial to his plan that Statix be eliminated this week, he asked Heyman how it could happen, and the manager told him he had more pressing concerns. He eased J onto a seat and told him that the powers that be weren't convinced that he was ready for a heavyweight title shot, which was despite his pleading, J would have to defend his contender spot later in the night to Pat Mannion. Rockey Rakesh burst into the room and approached J, he told him that he was his bhai, but at Reckoning he had no choice but to make a monkey out of him. Violent J pondered for a moment, and let out a loud, "Baroo what a lovely tea party!"

Matt Hardy and the Hurricane made their way to the ring for the next tag team lottery match. The only known team shook hands and hyped each other up as the arena went dark and Triple H's theme hit! Their confidence dipped slightly as the game made his way to the ring, looking a strange mixture of intensity and nervousness. Hurricane took his spot on the apron as Triple H and Hardy circled the ring awaiting his opponent, when a wall of fire shot up at the entrance and the music indicated one thing - his partner was Michael Lucifer! Lucifer stormed down to the ring but the Game slipped out the other side. Hardy tried to attack Lucifer from behind, but was throat tossed out of the way. Triple H circled the ring and made his way up the entrance toward the back, prompting Lucifer to follow in hot pursuit. The referee had no choice but to count the two men out, declaring Hurricane and Hardy the champs.

Backstage Chris Benoit bumped into Banging. The Canadian spike smirked and reminded Banging that it had been a long time. Banging inched down toward Benoit, telling him that he hadn't forgotten how he ran out on him with the tag titles. Benoit continued to laugh, and Banging told him that he'd see how funny it really was later in the night, when he showed Benoit exactly what being alone was all about. At that moment Rhyno loomed behind Banging. He repeated the word alone with an aura of question in his mockery, before walking off with his tag partner Benoit laughing.

Buddy Luv and Stat-Man discussed the bad blood, and history between the three men. Both Benoit and Rhyno, former acquaintances of Banging. They were cut off when the Nomad's theme music kicked up. The former world champion strutted down to the ring, tossing off a few of his Nomads on his way. He jumped on the microphone and said that he and Marz had something in common - they both wanted the International championship more than anything in the world. He then went on to add that there was one difference, he wasn't afraid to fight for it. He said that since it seemed as though Marz was learning the art of title defending from a person who kept the heavyweight from him, he would just have to make sure their table match went ahead at Reckoning. He then challenged anyone to come out and face him, because there was nothing he liked more than putting down talent before a big match.

Bill Goldberg answered the call, racing down to the ring for a test of strength. The two tied up, Nomad breaking it with a big knee to the gut. Goldberg let out a roar, and the Nomad mimicked and then took him down with a Lou Thesz style press, hammering down with punches in the mount position. He let the hold up, going to work with an Irish whip criss cross and then a big bulldog! Goldberg struggled to his feet, Nomad looking for a vertical suplex, but the man reversed the front face lock, using it to slam the Nomad down with a jackhammer! He went for the cover, but only got a two count, backing into the corner to prepare for the spear. Nomad struggled to his feet, but was ready for it, jumping over Goldberg and then catching him on the return with the bible black! A back press saw the Nomad scoring the victory.

Chris Benoit made his way to the ring next, sporting his tag team championship belt around his waist. The very focused crippler awaited the entrance of another man he once held the strap with, Banging! The two stood in the ring staring at one and another before Benoit went on the attack with snapping jabs and then a big suplex. They squared off apart once again, Banging showed surprising skill ducking the short clothesline and countering with a huge Samoan drop! Banging continued the momentum, going off the ropes and nailing a Benoit-like snapping elbow drop. Benoit struggled to his feet, tying up with Banging once more, and finding himself behind with a waist lock, but Banging grabbed the top rope, blocking the German suplex! Benoit went off the ropes looking for a clothesline, but Banging tossed him out with a back body drop! Benoit's tag partner Rhyno raced down to the ring to make the save, taking Banging down with a gore! Benoit slid back in and the two continued the assault when suddenly the arena went yellow and the crowd went wild as Oozaru ran down to the ring! Oozaru tossed Rhyno over the top rope, and dropped Benoit with the lag buster and with hardcore rules, Banging scored the pin fall! Oozaru and Banging taunted down at the tag team champions, as Oozaru stood tall!

Gwen Lucifer headed down to the ring, looking as lovely as ever. She took to the microphone with a smirk on her face, and simply said Reckoning. She said she had a special announcement from the mystery CEO for Triple H. Because he seemed to enjoy running from her husband so much, she would offer him a stipulation that would favor his unique skills. The two of them would face off - in a steel cage match! She wished Patrick Mannion and Violent J luck, before heading to the offices.

Patrick Mannion headed to the ring first with a microphone. He proudly exclaimed, "finally Patrick Mannion is back on Civil Action!". The fun stopped there as Violent J and Paul Heyman made their way to the ring. J got in the face of Mannion, but Mannion slapped the taste right out of his mouth and got right back in J's face! They went to work exchanging hard right hands, Violent J building the momentum and sending Mannion off the ropes who took him down with a stiff lariat. Mannion picked J up and slowed the pace to his favour with a big gut wrench powerbomb, but he didn't let go of the hold, stringing the powerbomb into a gut wrench back breaker! J was reeling, suffering from the attack to his back, as Mannion sent him off the ropes but J stopped still and took Mannion down with a spinebuster slam! He dropped a big elbow, and then caught the rising Mannion with a scissors kick! The momentum shifted as J continued the assault with a big belly to belly suplex, but the front face lock changed things as Mannion countered with a falcon arrow! He went for the cover but only got a two and a half. He looked to hit him with the smackdown slam, but J slipped out the back and hit a full nelson bomb! J hooked the leg and scored a cover!

Heyman jumped into the ring to raise his client's and jumped on the microphone, and started shouting that beside him, the new heavyweight champion, and soon to be number one performer in ICWW. Marz was at the back of the crowd watching on as Violent J and Heyman continued to celebrations, with Civil Action going off air.
