ICWW: Civil Action (May 13, 2003)

THE DAY OF RECKONING IS COMING
ICWW: CIVIL ACTION MAY 13, 2003

Special mention:
It's just going to be one of those months. Michael Lucifer is back, and he looks badder than ever. His mouth wasn't injured, that's for sure, and he's walking right into our TV time just fine.

QUICK RESULTS:
Michael Lucifer d. Twisted Sanity
Rhyno d. Eric Angle
#1 contender - Violent J d. Statix
Jason Shamrock d. Chris Benoit
[Heavyweight] - Rockey Rakesh [c] d. Triple H

Buddy Luv and Stat-Man were holding the crowd back as they went berserk for Civil Action! Thirteen was unlucky for some, but there was a huge CA ahead for the fans to enjoy with a number one contender match, Jason Shamrock taking on Chris Benoit and Michael Lucifer taking on Twisted Sanity in his first returning match! Plus, Eric Angle would face off against a mystery opponent, as he did at the event.

The secretary to the mystery ICWW CEO made her way to the ring looking pleased the attendance when she took a microphone. She thanked fans for attending and supporting ICWW: Kingdom Come, which was a total success. She then said that she had a special announcement regarding an upcoming special for superstars to earn a bonus pay check, but it would be ultimately controlled by the fans. She said that she liked the guys to think of her of less as the face of the mystery CEO, and more as their big sister. She said the ten lucky superstars that would participate in the ICWW reality experience would be; Banging, Chris Benoit, Jason Shamrock, Loopster, Marz, The Nomad, Rockey Rakesh, Shaggy 2 Dope, Statix and Violent J. She then announced that the first opportunity to eliminate the competition would occur later in the week at Aftershock, where they could nominate their opposition.

Twisted Sanity raced down to the ring next, recovering from a disappointing loss at Kingdom Come to the Hurricane. He had the big task of facing the returning spirit of vengeance, Michael Lucifer. The especially dark looking superstar sauntered to the ring to a tremendous ovation, looking to have recovered from his injury perfectly. In the ring Twisted Sanity went on the attack with hard right hands, but Lucifer countered with a big throat toss across to the turnbuckle and followed it with a death valley driver. Twisted Sanity was already seeing stars as he staggered right into the big death grip from Michael Lucifer, finishing it quickly with a big chokeslam!

Backstage Paul Heyman was with Violent J looking very excited. He told J that although their performance on the weekend was disappointing, he didn't have to worry about it because he had managed to negotiate him a number one contender match against Statix. Violent J let out a big "oooh what a lovely tea party!" when Heyman's face turned slightly sour. He told him that as marketable as that was, if he wanted to get his shot at the heavyweight title, he had to keep his mind on the ball. J shoved his hand in Heyman's face, beckoning him to stop talking. Violent J told him that if there was one thing the Y2Juggalo was serious about, it was getting to the top of ICWW. He then informed Heyman that wasn't the actual case, because there were two things he was serious about, the other being the JCW title. He said ever since he lost the JCW title he had hungered for a new title to cover his shoulder. Heyman nodded his head and smiled, as the two headed off.

Eric Angle made his way to the ring for the second encounter in the huge Civil Action show. The Greco-Roman influenced wrestler had put on a good performance beating the spearing Bill Goldberg at Kingdom Come, and awaited the entrance of his next opponent. The crowd jumped up as Rhyno's theme music kicked the PA. Rhyno raced down to the ring and went straight to work with a mounting Lou Thesz press, but Angle managed to reverse it and get the mounted punches of his own. The two jumped to their feet, Angle looking for a clothesline, but Rhyno ducked it, going on the attack with a hard series of contained shoulder thrusts! Angle staggered back, only to get caught with the gore! Rhyno looked for the cover and scored a near fall, Angle hooking up for an Angle slam, but Rhyno managed to slip out into a reverse DDT! Rhyno picked Angle up and finished it with a double powerbomb!

Triple H's theme music sounded in the arena, as the former heavyweight champion made his way to the ring. The game irately showed footage of the attack he suffered during his heavyweight title match at Kingdom Come. He declared that Rockey Rakesh had in fact cheated, and so he demanded a rematch at the end of the night, with a stipulation where the title could change hands by disqualification. The Nomad made a surprise entrance cutting Triple H off, he said that the two of them had something in common - they were both cheated out of their titles. Nomad then said he too had footage, and showed Marz using the ropes for leverage to pin. Triple H laughed and told Nomad he had already lost his match anyway, so it didn't matter. Nomad's face scrunched up, and he asked Triple H who he thought he was. Triple H said he was the game, and soon to be two-time heavyweight champion.

The Y2Juggalo, Violent J headed to the ring accompanied by his manager Paul Heyman next for a match to determine the number one contender for the heavyweight title. Statix hit the stage next, carrying his tag team championship belt which he retained against Violent J the weekend earlier. The two started the match fast exchanging punches, before Violent J amped it up with a big overhead belly to belly suplex. Statix staggered to his feet looking for a kick, but J caught it, only to get caught with a step over heel kick! Statix continued the assault with hard elbow shots, and then sent J off the ropes, catching him with a big spinning heel kick! With J down Statix looked to capitalise with the rolling thunder, but J got the knees up, testing the spine of the tag champion. With Heyman pounding the apron at ringside J scooped Statix up with a bodyslam, and locked in the walls of juggalo! The lower back of Statix got released, but not for long, J hitting the psycho flip and getting the pin fall. Heyman and Violent J celebrated in the ring before heading back.

The Canadian spike headed to the ring next for a few words. He said he didn't know what the reality experience was all about, but you could be damn sure he'd be playing it with toothless aggression. He then turned his focus to Jason Shamrock, who he said he basically did not like. Benoit challenged Shamrock to step out and prove to him that he could go toe to toe with him, because he didn't believe. Shamrock answered the call, racing down to the ring to take on the crippler, running straight into a closed fist! Benoit went on the attack again with hard chops, sending Shamrock to the corner, and then hoisted him upstairs looking for a superplex. Shamrock managed to battle out of the superplex, and shove Benoit down, taunting him by hitting the diving headbutt from the top rope! Shamrock grabbed Benoit in the ankle lock, but Benoit escaped the hold reversing it. He struggled to his vertical base, looking for a snap suplex, but Shamrock managed to counter into a stringing combination of snap suplexes. He locked the ankle lock in once more, forcing Benoit to tap out. Benoit rolled to the outside to gather his bearings, and attacked Shamrock from behind with a steel chair as he made his way to the back! Right on the Civil Action stage Benoit clamped down with the crossface, leaving Shamrock with a little pain to remember him by! Shamrock was helped backstage.

Shane Altmann was backstage with International champion Marz, asking him about how he felt after his controversial win at Kingdom Come. Marz gazed down at Altmann, and told him that controversy wasn't the issue at hand. At Kingdom Come, on the final judgment day, he proved to the Nomad, to himself, and the world, that he was the best there is. He said that the way he won, the fact he won were superficial elements of a much deeper tale. A tale of one man stopping the clock of another, of playing god with a man's life. He beat Nomad, and was world champion and if anyone wanted to question that, they could do it forever more, nevermore.

The Game headed to the ring next to await the heavyweight champion, Rockey Rakesh. Triple H took a microphone and called Rakesh out, telling him it was time to put it on the line. The Little Fire Cracker stepped out at the entrance looking pumped, carrying the ICWW heavyweight championship around his waist. Triple H went to the ramp, meeting everyone's favourite bhai with hard shots to the skull. He dragged him to the ring, and slammed him head first into the mat! In the ring Triple H continued the assault, taking it to the corner with hard kicks to the midsection, and then he hoisted Rakesh up, hanging him upside down for a tree of woe! The game tied up with a front face lock looking for a suplex, but the heavyweight champ managed to hook the leg, creating an imbalance. He went off the ropes, taking the game down with a hard diving forearm smash, but was caught with a snapping neck breaker from the game, almost a diamond cutter. Suddenly Michael Lucifer's theme music exploded into the arena and the big dark superstar headed down to the ring! Triple H looked concerned, and backed his way to the corner as Lucifer loomed over him, and suddenly turned and struck Rakesh with a throat thrust! The referee sounded for the bell, declaring Rockey Rakesh the winner via disqualification. Triple H tried to attack Lucifer, who caught him by the throat, giving the game a verbal lashing before dropping him with a chokeslam! Triple H rolled straight out of the ring and ran to the back holding his throat. Michael Lucifer grabbed a microphone and said that the last month for him had been a living hell, each day long and drawn out as he was unable to walk. He told Triple H he could run all he wanted but he couldn't escape his wrath, because he was in his mind, in his muscles, in his veins; and as he felt his muscles collapsing, his body shutting down from the inside out, he would be there, to stand over him - as the face of vengeance. Lucifer told everyone present that the day of reckoning was at hand as CA went off air.
