The Bitter Peace has ended. Alliances are no longer a factor.
The feud between two of the biggest rivals in the history of The Great Arena has reached boiling point. There are no more distractions. Everyone must choose a side before the battlelines are drawn, or risk being caught in the crossfire. This is a war!
Thirty-two fighters have been drafted into two armies, but no war begins with the formation of sides. May 1 will be the day scores are settled, but this is a story that has lasted as long as The Great Arena itself. A tale of two fighters -- destined to tear The Great Arena in two...
Tournament 2: Quest for a Champion January 11, 2011
In the final stage of a gruelling sixty-four person elimination tournament, Cr0w and Kron met for the first time on record. Their rivalry had already begun and with the first crowning of the Undisputed Championship on the line, their initial encounter was controversially deemed non-applicable due to an absence of officials. When the match restarted, it was Cr0w who emerged the victor, making history as the winner of Tournament 2 and the first ever Undisputed Champion.
Supercard 1: Battle Royale 2011 January 30, 2011
In a blockbuster Championship rematch, Cr0w defended his title against Kron. Kron had made himself an elusive target in the weeks leading up to the big moment, fighting with a refreshment that defied his former result and earned him his first victory over Cr0w and first reign as Undisputed Champion. This first recorded rematch was also the beginning of the saga, unleashing a bitter vein in Cr0w that would not soon dissipate.
Supercard 2: Triple Double - The Eliminator February 20, 2011
Cr0w began his revenge by destroying the Champion's friend and ally, Porygonix, before attempting to do the same in a second Undisputed Championship rematch, this time as challenger. Cr0w attacked Kron with an aggression not seen in their previous battles, but it was not enough to overcome the Champion's defense. The bitter rivalry between Cr0w and Kron was seemingly concluded, just as it was heating up.
Supercard 4: The Ultimate Grand Prix April 3, 2011
A month in The Great Arena is a long time, evidenced by the change in dynamic during Kron and Cr0w's time apart. While Cr0w remain fixated by his quest to reclaim the Undisputed Champion, Kron had had the opportunity to lose the title before the biggest event in history. The magnitude of the event would be enough to unite them as an unlikely unified front, battling as a powerful duo against the Barons of Famine and Pestilence. For the first time in their history, the pair shared the glory.
Supercard 5: The Tower of Power April 17, 2011
In a Tower of Power erected of the best fighters in The Great Arena, Cr0w and Kron would be inevitably thrown against each other once more. Their peace short lived, it was Cr0w who finally evened the score, destroying Kron's hopes of recapturing the Championship in a total annihilation more convincing than any of their previous battles. Tied at two wins each, they lose all sight of the greater menace, turning their attentions to each other once more. More heated than ever, the feud between Cr0w and Kron now engulfs the entire arena as others are drafted into their war.
TEAM CR0W: ElJobber, Mimik, TonyTheTiger, Shoe, Ninja_Mime, Pink_Ranger, Hokey, Ghostdragon, Baraka_MK, DeathScepter, SubMan799, CaTigeReptile, Casselman, Tyrant-Cenobite, Chromatose, GuiltyByDesign
TEAM KRON: Toryn, The_Purple_Bunny, Porygonix, Jammer2Omega, DECEPTION, Ken, xtactics, m0s, ZachAngel, Scott-Howell, Kairyu, DaMo, STEROLIZER, onryo, Artanix, Murdoink
Supercard 6: Team Cr0w vs Team Kron (May 1, 2011)
1. Cr0w versus Kron
It is the most enduring feud in the history of The Great Arena and now it has literally split the game down the middle! Cr0w and Kron will do battle to break a two-win tie when they captain teams of sixteen to determine the true leader of the people and the true better! The winning team and its Captain will lord over The Great Arena! The individual winner will inevitably establish himself as a top contender, but for these two, the fight is a personal one, for supremacy over the other! There can be no distractions! This is Cr0w v Kron V!
2. ElJobber versus Toryn
It's a clash of the #1 and #2 draft picks when ElJobber faces his demons in a battle against Toryn! Toryn may be on the skids after losing his Undisputed Championship, but ElJobber has famously never been able to defeat Toryn! In a rematch of the Supercard 4 Championship main event, will Toryn be able to get a handle on his contender trajectory, or is it third time a charm for ElJobber? They represent the first drafts of Team Cr0w and Team Kron, but it'll be a bitter showdown as these two fight to get back into the title hunt!
3. 12-Person 6-A Side Battle Royal:
Team Cr0w: Mimik, TonyTheTiger, CaTigeReptile, GuiltyByDesign, Baraka_MK, DeathScepter Team Kron: Ken, m0s, Artanix, DaMo, STEROLIZER, Kairyu
It'll be six-a-side competition when twelve fighters enter The Great Arena for another exciting Battle Royal, but this will be the most complicated combat we've ever seen! The feud between Ken and m0s continues to heat up after a shock upset at Bitter Peace, while TonyTheTiger and MimiK share a similar collision course as Tony seeks reprisals for his repeat defeats. CaTigeReptile had no time for sisterhood during Supercard 4 when she unceremoniously eliminated GuiltyByDesign from the Grand Prix Battle Royal -- and what about DeathScepter and DaMo? Will friends and partners be able to remain focused on their draft allegiances, or will the bizarre ones turn on everyone?
For the struggle between Team Cr0w and Team Kron this will be a crucial result, but will the teams be able to retain unity with so many interpersonal feuds and alliances?! This will be one hectic Battle Royal when members of Team Cr0w and Team Kron do battle for the event team win, for the six, for bitter hatreds, and for individual glory!
4. Hokey & Ninja_Mime versus Porygonix & xtactics
They entered Bitter Peace as fierce rivals, but the draft has brought Porygonix & xtactics together as one under the leadership of Kron! Their combined might will get a true test when they clash with Team Cr0w's undefeated duo, Hokey & Ninja_Mime! The loyal teams will no doubt be giving their all for their captins, but with rankings glory well within their reach, this one promises to be extra charged!
5. Shoe versus The_Purple_Bunny
The_Purple_Bunny should have been riding high since his return to life at Supercard 4, but at The Tower of Power it was Shoe who rained all over his parade with an elimination victory! It'll be a chance for payback when The_Purple_Bunny represents Team Kron in this extra layered grudge match against the rising star of Shoe -- debut winner of Tournament 4!
6. Casselman & SubMan799 versus Scott-Howell & Murdoink
They're great friends, but this will be the first time Casselman & SubMan799 team-up to do battle against the affectionately referred "original team" from The Great Arena, "Sugar" Scott-Howell & Murdoink! The seasoned veterans went the hatrick with a win at Bitter Peace, but you can never count out the upstart quality of two of the newest energetic competitors to hit competition! Another duo classic in the making!
7. Pink_Ranger & Ghostdragon versus DECEPTION & onryo
Cr0w calls them 'two of the most underrated competitors in The Great Arena' and at Supercard 6 the #11 and #15 picks, Pink_Ranger & Ghostdragon, will get a chance to prove it! DECEPTION & Onryo don't have a long history as a team, but the good friends scored a valuable first victory at Bitter Peace in the build ahead of their drafting into Team Kron! It'll be a tremendous boost for either side should they help win the overall event, handing the keys to the kingdom to their Captain!
8. Chromatose versus ZachAngel
They're better known as two sides of a very talkative coin, but when they collide in this first-time meeting, it'll be one heckuva personality clash! Chromatose started life as a top contender but has laxed of late, while ZachAngel is yet to really canonize the ZachAttack within the walls of The Great Arena. It's a study of contrasts in an under-the-radar Team Cr0w/Team Kron heat that could very well decide the overall outcome!
9. Tyrant-Cenobite versus Jammer2Omega
It was at Supercard 4 that Tyrant-Cenobite was taken out pre-Battle Royal by a mysterious assailant. If he knows who did it, he certainly isn't saying! Could relative newcomer, Jammer2Omega, be the man responsible for for a jealous attack after narrowly missing out on qualification? Their result will contribute to the Captain's tally, but could this be a battle for answers to a very different question?
10. Ratt & Genku versus Famine & Pestilence
The battle between Cr0w and Kron may have engulfed the arena, but with current Undisputed Champion, Ratt, exempt from their draft, the fight against the forces of Lord Mislukking continues!
Ratt will put aside old grudges when he teams with a recently resurrected Genku against the former-revenant's former masters, Bez Busshitsu & Praga Conquette! The Barons of Famine and Pestilence have been ordered to cease their opportunistic sneak attacks, but what tricks will they have up their sleeves come Sunday?
May 1 -- Supercard 6: Team Cr0w vs Team Kron kicks off in The Great Arena! Be here for all the developments!

Pre-Show 6: Bitter Peace!
April 24, 2011 -- The collapse of the Tower of Power may have ended with another uniting of powers against the forces of Lord Mislukking, but the ten strong scramble for supremacy has once again returned the right of conflict to the people! Enduring rivalries will be put to the test while new warriors will seek to stake their claim, but soon, the warring factions will split The Great Arena in twain!
Cr0w and Kron may have risen together to defeat the inhuman foes that corrupt The Great Arena, but Pre-Show 6 is destined to be their final moment of Bitter Peace! Each claims the righteous path, their just reign as Undisputed Champion of the people, but their war is about much more personal hatreds than leading the Union of the Human League to freedom...
A final miracle will restore the balance between man and monster, while a battered champion stands triumphant. It is the calm before the storm, a prelude to the drums of war. A Bitter Peace!...
10. Mick restored life to Genku!
The presence of Mick in The Great Arena is a rare sight, but even that could not deter the forces of Lord Mislukking from making an appearance. Their intent to decimate the people's Champion drove Cr0w & Kron into an unlikely alliance at Supercard 4, and again at Supercard 5. The oppression enforced by Lord Mislukking had fast become an important issue with these repeat attacks, but now, war between Cr0w and Kron has left Ratt alone with these unrelenting fiends.
A council of agreement led by Mick Lucifer and Ares Menschlich governs what is supposed to be fair combat in The Great Arena. Cr0w and Kron may have lost sight of their tyrrany, but Mick certainly had not. Deeming the conduct unfair, Mick was not only there as enforcer for Ratt, but also for competition, demanding an end to the cowardly attacks that capitalized on the technicalities of Ratt's "open challenge". He demanded fair combat be honored, declaring that Bez Busshitsu and Praga Conquette -- Barons of Famine and Pestilence, respectively -- would have their opportunity to fight at Supercard 6 in a duo battle against Ratt and a fair partner.
With this stern declaration Mick extended a finger toward the motley crew of villains and with a blinding white light engulfed the silent Revenant Genku! As he had at Supercard 4, Mick returned one of the dead fallen to the living ranks, undoing the black magic of Sinvida Von Grimm! Once mortal enemies, Ratt and Genku would now unite in the ultimate grudge match, fighting for the people! Genku lives!
9. Ratt d. Toryn in an open challenge decimation for the Undisputed Championship!
It was a fairytale outcome for "The Iron Man" Ratt at Supercard 5: The Tower of Power! Having achieved an incredible three wins in the two days surrounding Supercard 4, this hearty hardy fighter battled his way through Cr0w and Toryn to claim his first reign as Undisputed Champion!
A stalwart of Pre-Show main event competition, Ratt wasn't about to be intimidated by a string of attacks by the forces of Lord Mislukking. Accompanied to his trademark 'open challenge' by Mick, Ratt had the authority and power of The Union of The Human League at his back, an intelligent design to repel the repeat assaults that have ended Supercard 5, Pre-Show 5 and Pre-Show 3! Ratt would be alone, however, when former-champion Toryn entered The Great Arena to answer Ratt's open challenge!
With an impressive record behind him, Toryn earned Championship credibility with his first title defense. Ratt did exactly the same, opening up a +3 decimation that firmly stated Toryn is human, and the Reign of the Ratt is here and now! The roar of the audience accompanied celebrations, but even with Mick in his corner, Ratt could not fully appreciate the win with the story not quite over...
8. Mimik d. TonyTheTiger in a close grudge match!
Since winning Tournament 3 in February, Mimik's star has been on the rise! With a string of victories that included a massive five straight wins at Tower of Power, Mimik is an Undisputed Champion in waiting!
One of those victories came against his Supercard 4 opponent, TonyTheTiger! Tony was forced out of favour by the ranking loss, echoed in his defeat Tower of Power! Other successes ensured Tony was able to sneak back into the unofficial top ten stakes, but the chance to get a little payback with his opportunistic glory was clearly too sweet for the strategic shooter in this case!
Mimik was uncharacteristically lethargic, perhaps suffering the after effects of his marathon success at the previous Supercard. Not even the ultimate fighting hangover was enough to deliver the ultimate opportunist victory in the Pre-Show, however. Despite a narrow margin, Mimik again showed why he is a hot favourite to challenge for the championship at some point in the near future! With only Cr0w standing in his way, will Mimik retain some loyalty to his friend when the draft splits The Great Arena in two, or stab him in the back?
7. m0s d. Ken in a close fought upset!
Their feud only goes back as far as March (Supercard 3), but the battle between m0s and Ken is fast becoming one of the most exciting rivalries in The Great Arena! m0s had the better of Ken in a Battle Royal at Supercard 4, but the Tower of Power served up a Challenger victory for Ken! With neither man willing to conceed, it was inevitable that this grudge match would take place!
In another display of his ability to punch far above his weight, m0s showed not only an unwillingness to accept the Tower of Power defeat, but also a total disregard for Ken's supposed statistical superiority. A lacklustre Ken was delivered to defeat by a respectably close margin, but will almost certainly be disatisfied with his performance. Yet another grudge match seems sure to lie around the corner, but with a warrior draft looming, will these fierce opponents be forced to make strange bedfellows?...
6. Scott-Howell & Murdoink d. Bofh & Dolce in a solid win!
Affectionately known as The Great Arena's original duo -- Scott-Howell & Murdoink were ready to make it a charm with their third victory as a team. Entertaining the challenge of first-time partners, "Big John" Bofh & Dolce, experience was clearly the key for the veteran team. Success was never in doubt for "Sugar" Scotty and his flying partner, as they locked in another definitive result. Though clear cut, it made for a nice debut for Bofh & Dolce, another tandem who seem likely to register their interests in the growing duo ranks!
5. Porygonix d. xtactics in a comprehensive grudge match!
It was at Supercard 4 that xtactics had his big moment spoiled by a shock, bitter assault from Porygonix. Seeking reprisal for the jealous offense; xtactics was asking a lot of himself against the seasoned cunning of Porygonix, who recently featured in the Tower of Power.
Their feud began when Kron -- well known running buddy of Porygonix -- took a shine to the upstart success of xtactics in his debut. Ironically, it seemed their relation would be destined to go from "bitter" to "peace" as Porygonix delivered a +3 impact to xtactics ahead of a recruitment draft staged by Cr0w and Kron. xtactics may have failed to get payback against Kron's former bitter apprentice, but with the lines of war being drawn above the competitors of Pre-Show 6, it seemed common interest would find him an ally!
4. DECEPTION & onryo d. Artanix & foahchon.
Always a favourite in The Great Arena; DECEPTION made a welcome return to competition alongside good friend and acquainance, onryo. Against the combined might of Supercard 4 returnees, Artanix & foahchon, there was to be a question of freshness and experience asked of these combinations. Known for their tenacity before being briefly buried, Artanix & foahchon have emerged as one of the noteworthy combinations filling out a growing roster of tandem tustlers.
Despite any 'arena rust' or inexperience, the first-time combination showed clear signs of chemistry! DECEPTION & onryo battled to a comfortable, hard fought victory in what has every right to be the first chapter in an exciting rivalry! A solid win for DECEPTION and his pal, pleasing to all in The Great Arena!
3. EasterBunny d. SubMan799 by a narrow Easter margin!
Seasonal tidings could not be denied as another fresh face entered The Great Arena for the first time! EasterBunny registered only recently and looked more like a massive underdog against the adequate preparations of SubMan799 -- another relative newcomer. Alas; not even the absurdities of SubMan could defy the appropriate calendar significance of the EasterBunny's debut! It was a special touch of magic as EasterBunny hopped to victory by the skin of his ample teeth. A close fought win for a third victorious debutant!
2. plfx d. rxvt in a close fought upset debut!
In a battle of the vowels, plfx debuted against a beleaguered rxvt! The latter letter scramble had been under the pump of late, failing in repeat bids to enter the Supercard 4 Battle Royal, which ended in an exhibition squash at the hands of Mark, on the big stage.
It was deja vu all over again for rxvt as he faced a surprising attack from his completely untested opponent. It was beginner's luck as plfx matched rxvt at every turn, staging an impressive victory as another first-time winner was made!
1. nif d. NightHawk in a close fought debut!
It was a titanic opening struggle as two newcomers to The Great Arena were ushered into competition. The first of four competitors to debut at the Pre-Show, NightHawk and nif appeared incredibly evenly matched! Fighting a battle worthy of more substantial stakes, the pair took it to the wire, nif exhibiting a will to win that NightHawk simlpy could not match. A great entry to the ranks for two newbies!
The bitter peace has ended. Now war must descend on The Great Arena!
Cr0w and Kron fought as one in the name of a greater good, but like two equal and opposite forces they are compelled to react alike! It is one of the most storied feuds in the history of The Great Arena, told over four epic encounters that have seen them deadlocked! Cr0w claims he will lead the people to freedom as their Champion, Kron disputes this. They have drafted their fellows to their cause, now there can only be... war.
Friends are turned against each other and enemies forced to stand side by side as The Great Arena is split down the middle by the feud between two of it's biggest fighters! Supercard 6: Team Cr0w vs Team Kron will happen May 1! Stay tuned for the full card announcement!

Supercard 5: The Tower of Power!
April 17, 2011 -- Month after month, the fighters of The Union of The Human League are brought together in one place. The Great Arena has played host to organized competition for four months -- a method of peace that brings the people together under the common pursuit of glory. Day after day they compete, fighting one another in an effort to stand above the crowd, to step on the shoulders of their enemies and peers to reach for something bigger than themselves.
The Tower of Power is the desire to be champion and the potential for any one fighter to rise on their given day. It is the perfection of mortal combat distilled to its purest form. On this day, six qualifying challengers will attempt to climb their way to the top of the Tower, where the Champion waits with nervous breath. If they fail, the Tower will crumble, imploding on itself until there is only one fighter left standing. One winner.
One Undisputed Champion!... FIGHT!
The Tower of Power:
13. Cr0w & Kron d. Genku & Famine in a bonus fight!
With Ratt beaten and outnumbered, Cr0w & Kron returned to The Great Arena to once again reunite for an impromptu battle against Genku & Famine! They had no trouble dishing out defeat to the Mislukking minions, but were far from forming a lasting friendship!
With common enemies dispatched, the pair revealed an attitude akin to fighting over the carcass, as dedicated as ever to destroying each other and capturing the Undisputed Championship! Their second victory against a team of Mislukking's warriors sends a strong message, but with one threat pacified, it seems as if the lines will still be drawn for a war of two sides! This story and rivalry can only develop as The Great Arena looks toward Supercard 6 on May 1!
12. Bez Busshitsu d. Ratt in a vile bonus fight.
Just as he had at Pre-Show 5 and Pre-Show 3; the Baron of Famine emerged to attack Ratt at a moment of vulnerability! The never say die attitude of the new Undisputed Champion remained in tact, but he was simply too overcome to fend off the super-powered advances of Bez Busshitsu. The frequency and viciousness of attacks by Mislukking's Barons now seems to be increasing, but what is the motivation? Is this merely a conflict of forces, or has Ratt risen to a destiny greater than his own?
11. Revenant Genku d. Ratt in a comprehensive win.
It was announced that Lord Mislukking's Four Barons would wait to meet the Champion in a prolonged exhibition, but it seemed Sinvida Von Grimm (Death) would be replaced by minion and Ratt arch-rival, Revenant Genku. The deceased warrior risen showed a characteristic lack of joy in attacking the fatigued champ. Though Ratt had had no difficulty dispatching his enemy at Supercard 4, he was clearly feeling the effects of two massive battles, and an Iron Man's schedule!
Though victorious in a close fought battle, Genku went beyond a lack of joy, showing glimpses of emotion that might have even been remorse. Genku was resurrected as a Revenant by the Baron of Death after he threw himself on the sword of Lord Mislukking, but now, it seems as if the vestige of the warrior once known as Genku may regret his decision. It may even be that there was more to his mysterious suicide than was previously known. For the time being, he is merely a pawn, unliving and unable to stop.
10. Ratt (#1) d. Toryn (c) to become Undisputed Champion!
At the apex of the Tower of Power they would represent the yin and yang of opinion. Ratt is the can-do underdog whose enthusiasm for fair competition and "Iron Man" will to fight has made him a fan-favourite who has earned the right to be here. Toryn is the shock champion who sought short-cuts in his quest for power, earning the ire of his peers and observers, despite solidifying his status with wins over Kron and ElJobber.
Just as he had when facing ElJobber; Toryn enters the Tower of Power final with a win advantage over his opponent. In the past, Ratt and he have met three times, with Toryn emerging victor in two. Ratt could not be daunted by history or reputation, bolstered by the pure fact that he was fighting for a dream! With a win over Cr0w making a major case for the legitimacy of his contention, Ratt unleashed a +3 decimation on the champion! Toryn was no match for the "Iron Man", who showed no signs of fatigue despite fighting two more matches in the build toward Tower of Power, at Pre-Show 5!
The Great Arena erupted into celebration as Ratt took his reward, the culmination of many tournament close encounters and a four month journey of grit and deterimnation to eventually reach the pinnacle as Undisputed Champion! The dream was fulfilled, but with the Pre-Show announcement that Lord Mislukking would wait atop an additional tier of the Tower of Power, that dream was about to become a nightmare!
9. Ratt (#1) d. Cr0w (#3) in a shocking +13 annihilation!
With the two biggest wins of the Tower of Power behind him, Cr0w seemed spent, perhaps suffering similar effects to Kron after his encounter with Famine and Pestilence. It was exactly the opportunity Ratt needed in his fairytale pursuit of the ultimate prize. "The Iron Man" Ratt battled his way into the #1 contender slot with a phenomenal three wins in two days -- a weekend that included a team victory over m0s & STEROLIZER at Pre-Show 4, and a Thirty-Person Battle Royal win and grudge victory over Genku at Supercard 4!
The fan-favourite was not at full strength, but exciting as he assaulted a Cr0w who appeared suddenly sapped after his full force clashes with Mimik and Kron. It was the perfect ending to Ratt's story, setting him up with an intense clash with a champion who has proven a penchant for fighting out of some tough spots!
8. Cr0w (#3) d. Kron (#2) in a forgiving grudge annihilation!
Since the earliest days of competition in The Great Arena they have been locked in a struggle that has defined the course of the Undisputed Championship. Cr0w and Kron first engaged in mortal combat in the final of Tournament 2 -- where Cr0w became the first title holder. Supercard 1 saw Kron rise to become the second holder of the Championship, before breaking the tie in a grudge match at Supercard 2: Triple Double!
Cr0w restored the balance with yet another annihilation of an opponent, this time with only a +2 impact. The fight saw a Kron performing well under strength, perhaps suffering the after effects of he and Cr0w's team-up against the Barons of Famine and Pestilence at Supercard 4! There was no love lost between the brief teammates whose fiery rivalry seemed rekindled by this chance encounter!
7. Cr0w (#3) d. Mimik (#7) in a devastating +11 annihilation!
Having last held the title in January, few men want a shot at the Undisputed Championship as much as Cr0w! The tempestuous competitor was ready in waiting to capitalize on a Mimik who clearly felt the impact of his battle with ElJobber. Any chance of an upset was utterly crushed as Cr0w unleashed the fullest of his powers, completely annihilating an under strength challenge! The result not only puts an end to Mimik's impressive showing against the top ranks, but also sets up a classic showdown between two of the most storied rivals in the history of The Great Arena!
6. Mimik (#7) d. ElJobber (#4) in a shock comprehensive win!
In a true test, Mimik faced off against the hardluck Championship contender of Supercard 4. ElJobber was no doubt keen to get his second bite at the top prize, but was having no such luck with the charging dominance of Mimik! The pair engaged in an epic encounter between super powers, but the clash could only end with Mimik progressing to the pointy end with the Undisputed Championship waiting!
5. Mimik (#7) d. Hokey (#5) in a comfortable victory.
Hokey has enjoyed considerable success in The Great Arena, known for his penchant for lucky draws and overachieving. Neither lady luck, not his partner Ninja_Mime, were with him when it came to facing Mimik! The gauntlet juggernaut was not quite as punishing as he had been against Mime, but never the less squashed any possibility of a Hokey upset in a comfortable elimination victory! A replay of the Tournament 3 final bout!
4. Mimik (#7) d. Ninja_Mime (#6) in a +4 decimation!
Mimik continued his march through the Tower of Power, breaching the untouched ranks of the gauntlet with complete disregard for their virgin desires to appear in action in The Great Arena. It was a whirlwind +4 decimation of Ninja_Mime, solidifying Mimik's momentum toward an overlooked possible upset! Ninja_Mime could only defer the challenge of defeating Mimik to his recent combat partner!
3. Mimik (#7) d. Shoe (#8) in a comfortable win.
In a meeting of the winners of the last two Tournaments, it was T3 victor, Mimik, who stepped up to put a stop to Shoe's daunting decimation of the roster! Equally significant in the dark horse stakes; Shoe fought with a surprising lack of gusto, handing Mimik a borderline decimation of his own, if not for a gentle touch in the art of combat. The win continues Mimik's newfound direction toward success in The Great Arena, making him a threatening challenger moving up the Tower of Power!
2. Shoe (#8) d. Porygonix (#10) in a +12 total decimation!
Building a terrifying case for momentum driven dominance, Shoe exploded into his first elimination fight with the tenacity and power that saw him debut in The Great Arena as undefeated winner of Tournament 4! Fresh off his +11 decimation of Ken, Shoe followed it up one better, executing the +12 with a shocking punishment to upstart Pory!
1. Porygonix (#10) d. m0s (#9) in a comprehensive win.
Having absorbed the brunt of the Challenger Pool, it was Porygonix and m0s starting off the elimination rounds of the Tower of Power gauntlet. Both men came into the fight performing with signs of fatigue, but Porygonix clearly had the benefit of a few wins and a few extra months experience, with m0s looking like he spent his best in a fierce fight against Ken. That rivalry will no doubt continue to develop in the coming weeks in The Great Arena, while m0s attempts to earn his stripes.
Tower Challenger Round:
Decided in a series of qualifying bouts that took place at Pre-Show 5; the Challenger Pool confronted the daunting might of the Tower of Power with mixed fortunes. No single competitor had what it took to conquer the ladder and become champion, but with the momentum of qualifying victories on their side, each competitor would take away a notch in their belt in the grand quest to become Undisputed Champion!
TonyTheTiger emerged the undeniable hero of the qualifying Challenger Pool. His threat to the Tower of Power reminded that he was somewhat cheated out of being a part of the list by a conspiracy of circumstances! All challengers proved to be worthy competitors, but none were as impressive as the man who secured two +3 decimations and faultered only against an opponent that is becoming a fierce rival in The Great Arena!
14. Shoe (#8) d. Ken in a punishing +11 decimation!
The price of winning a close fought grudge bout was apparently longterm success, for Ken. #8 Shoe hit his strides, playing roadblock as he had to The_Purple_Bunny, absolutely annihilating the final challenger with a devastating +11 impact! An ominous result as the Tournament 4 winner said goodbye to the Challenger Pool warm-up phase, entering the elimination rounds of the Tower of Power!
13. Ken d. m0s (#9) in a close fought grudge bout!
The Tower of Power represents the opportunity for fighters to earn their way into a shot at the Undisputed Championship through unquestionable mortal combat! Though this ultimate opportunity must be a part of every fighter's objective, for Ken, the grudge bout potential between he and m0s would have to be as big a motivator as any loftier goals!
It was the Tower #9 who ended Ken's Supercard 4 Battle Royal in a sixteen minute stark contrast to Ken's success at Supercard 1: 2011 Battle Royale! The elimination was but a chapter in the rivalry building between the pair, which began with a shock upset when m0s replaced The_Purple_Bunny in a bout at Supercard 3, leading to Ken's victory in a team bout against m0s & STEROLIZER at Pre-Show 4!
The fourth time was the charm as Ken battled a hard fought close encounter that propelled him up the Tower of Power into a third fight. Though the scores may have been numerically settled between m0s and Ken, surely their intense rivalry cannot be so easily settled!
12. Ken d. Porygonix (#10) in a solid win.
Ken was unlucky to miss out on a top ten ranking spot as one of the warriors on the Tower of Power! An unfortunately unconvincing performance in the Supercard 4 Battle Royal kept him beneath Porygonix in the eyes of the Council -- but in the final challenge of the Tower gauntlet, Ken erased any notion of inequality with a solid win.
11. Shoe (#8) d. The_Purple_Bunny in a confident result.
A positive start teased a dream return for The_Purple_Bunny, but his phenomenal return run had a roadblock waiting and it was Tower of Power #8, Shoe! The Tournament 4 winner found the form he lacked against TonyTheTiger, asserting himself in a confident result.
10. The_Purple_Bunny d. m0s (#9) in a confident result.
With momentum on his side, The_Purple_Bunny continued his dream run return to life with another comprehensive result against an opponent. m0s was lucky to walk away without more lasting damage from their encounter, suffering a minimum impact despite the conclusive victory.
9. The_Purple_Bunny d. Porygonix (#10) in a comprehensive win.
Heralded by the blinding white light of Mick's power -- The_Purple_Bunny returned to the living as a surprise entrant in the Ultimate Grand Prix Thirty-Person Battle Roya at Supercard 4! The memorable resurrection might not have garnered big game results on the night, but here, against the Tower of Power, TPB proved he is once again ready to hang with the big boys. A comprehensive result once again made a formality of #10, Porygonix.
8. Mimik (#7) d. TonyTheTiger in a comprehensive result!
They met in a rankings clash on the biggest stage of them all -- Supercard 4: 2011 Ultimate Grand Prix! It was at the calendar major that TonyTheTiger's rankings hopes were dashed by a confident Tournament 3 winner, Mimik, making this a poetic reprising of roles! Mimik was not able to decimate his opponent as he had at Supercard 4, but he did, once again, put a comprehensive end to TonyTheTiger's swath cutting charge through the Championship contender rankings! Would it be enough to keep TonyTheTiger out of the hunt, however? Not likely!
7. TonyTheTiger d. Shoe (#8) in a decimation!
Another overnight success -- Tournament 4 winner and Supercard 4 Battle Royal runner-up, Shoe, was no match for TonyTheTiger! Shoe's impressive debut credentials were put into perspective as TonyTheTiger capitalized on his growing experience in The Great Arena! For one moment, it seemed as if the Challenger Pool might have produced a potential Champion -- one capable of delivering a second +3 decimation!
6. TonyTheTiger d. m0s (#9) in a confident result!
It was a more forgiving TonyTheTiger who lodged a confident result similar to his previous bout. m0s' credentials might have placed him on the fast track to success, but TonyTheTiger quickly put that into perspective, resuming his hunt as the first man to break through to the #8 plane of the Tower of Power in a convincing, but gentle victory!
5. TonyTheTiger d. Porygonix (#10) in a decimation!
It was a defeat at the hands of Mimik at Supercard 4 that dashed TonyTheTiger's hopes of being a part of the contending Tower of Power top ten! His eligibility was reenforced by a powerful entry into the gauntlet that left Porygonix embarassed and suddenly obselete as the first-man in the ladder to success -- a memorable +3 impact in this solid decimation.
4. m0s (#9) d. Jammer2Omega in a close fought battle!
It was only by the narrowest of margins that Jammer2Omega missed out on progressing to the third stage. m0s started his day with a solid result, following up on the whirlwind of eliminations he secured during the Supercard 4 Battle Royal
3. Jammer2Omega d. Porygonix (#10) in a comprehensive win.
As quickly as Porygonix established himself as a powerful first-stop, he was dashed, comprehensively done away with by relative newcomer, Jammer2Omega. By breaking the cycle, J20 no doubt opened the eyes of other competitors to the possibility of cracking this daunting list of opponents.
2. Porygonix (#10) d. kororaa in a comprehensive result.
As #10 in the sequence, Porygonix looked likely to fullfil his enforcer role at the bottom of the Tower. kororaa was willing, but no match for a fighter who has flirted with success in the part, but only narrowly secured a place on the Tower of Power.
1. Porygonix (#10) d. Tyrant-Cenobite in a comprehensive result.
Kicking things off with an automatic qualification due to his mysterious absence from the Supercard 4 Thirty-Person Battle Royal -- Tyrant-Cenobite. The fighter, who qualified for the Battle Royal, was to explain his absence at Supercard 5, but could only offer more questions as he revealed nothing about an attack that kept him from entering his well earned spot!
The challenger was much more willing when he stepped up to the Tower of Power with a chance at Championship glory waiting on the horizon, but the relatively unseasoned fighter was no match for #10, Porygonix. Though removed quickly from the Supercard competition, we can only assume that Tyrant-Cenobite will remain a part of the story as the mystery of his attack remains an open case. Think you know who attacked Tyrant-Cenobite at Supercard 4? Post in the comments!
The conclusion of Tower of Power offers the unofficial rankings an opportunity to engage in some intriguing shuffles. TonyTheTiger reasserts himself as a ranking hunter, while Mimik continues as a rise that began with his Tournament 3 victory. Toryn is finally dethroned, while Cr0w and Kron have once again reversed the dynamic in their long running feud. The players have been rearranged once again, and with that, there is a new unofficial top ten!
With Lord Mislukking's minions seemingly quelled for a moment, tensions are running high between the big names of The Union of the Human League! Ratt might be Undisputed Champion, but with great power comes a great big bullseye on your back! Cr0w and Kron may have united twice in April, but it seems they're going to rip The Great Arena in half come May! Pre-Show 6: Bitter Peace happens April 24, with Supercard 6 details to be announced for May 1! Be here for all the rivalries, feuding and match-ups!

4. m0s (#9) d. Jammer2Omega in a close fought battle!
It was only by the narrowest of margins that Jammer2Omega missed out on progressing to the third stage. m0s started his day with a solid result, following up on the whirlwind of eliminations he secured during the Supercard 4 Battle Royal

Champion: Ratt
#1 Toryn
#2 Cr0w
#3 Mimik
#4 Kron
#5 ElJobber
#6 TonyTheTiger
#7 Shoe
#8 Ken
#9 Porygonix
#10 Hokey
With Lord Mislukking's minions seemingly quelled for a moment, tensions are running high between the big names of The Union of the Human League! Ratt might be Undisputed Champion, but with great power comes a great big bullseye on your back! Cr0w and Kron may have united twice in April, but it seems they're going to rip The Great Arena in half come May! Pre-Show 6: Bitter Peace happens April 24, with Supercard 6 details to be announced for May 1! Be here for all the rivalries, feuding and match-ups!

Pre-Show 5: Challenger Tower Qualifiers!
With Supercard 5: The Tower of Power just a week away, the only logical solution for the need to narrow a field of challengers is to have a round of qualifying matches! Thus; an unannounced Pre-Show delivers five qualifying fighters, with Tyrant-Cenobite already guaranteed challenger status after he was unceremoniously prevented entry into the Thirty-Person Battle Royal at Supercard 4: 2011 Ultimate Grand Prix - The Arena Spectacular!
The reason for Tyrant-Cenobite's absence at the big show remains a point of speculation! Who or what kept him from entering such an important battle when he'd already fought for guaranteed qualification [at Pre-Show 3]? The answer to this and many other questions will unfold April 17 at Supercard 5: The Tower of Power! Ten carefully selected contenders will make up the tower, with reigning Undisputed Champion, Toryn, waiting at the top to meet one of the ten, or if they're lucky, one of the qualifying challengers!
Also on the Pre-Show card -- Ratt returns to the main event to issue an open challenge, and Scott-Howell & Murdoink stretch their team muscles with a clash against Pre-Show 4 winning duo, xtactics & Celeste! All this, plus seven big blockbuster qualifying bouts! Let's go!
8. Bez Busshitsu defeated Ratt in a second challenge attack!
Just as it had at Pre-Show 3: The Road to Redemption, Ratt's post-match celebrations were cut short by the arrival of a second challenger! Bez Busshitsu got the best of Ratt after he defeated Ken at Pre-Show 3, and although Ratt appeared ready for the extra challenge in this encounter, he once again succumbed to the powerful Baron of Famine!
The victory comes as a moral blow against members of The Union of the Human League, who struck back at their Mislukking led oppressors when Cr0w & Kron united to defeat the Barons of Famine & Pestilence at Supercard 4! By striking back against the #1 contender, Busshitsu tips the balance back in favour of the "bad guys" -- who will now also add themselves to the top of the Tower of Power! Whosoever emerges as Undisputed Champion will now have to face the gauntlet of Famine, Pestilence, War, Death, and Lord Mislukking!
As big as Supercard 4 was -- Supercard 5: The Tower of Power promises to be a true turning point for the fighters of The Great Arena! The Champion may have the advantage when he faces the challenges of a special six-strong Challenger Pool and then the ten contenders, but whoever emerges with the crown will face overwhelming odds as the powers-that-be strike back in the face of defiance!
7. Ratt defeated ThirtyThr33 in a +4 decimation!
As has become a custom on Pre-Show events, Ratt greeted the main event with the possibility of facing anyone in The Great Arena! The open challenge drew a somewhat unlikely fighter in the form of ThirtyThr33, who competed as one of the unlucky fighters in Supercard 4's Thirty-Person Battle Royal -- a blockbuster event that Ratt won!
ThirtyThr33 was in way over his head as the #1 contender proceeded to unleash a decimating beat down! As he always is, Ratt was humble in victory, despite unleashing a conclusive +4 impact on the over eager challenger. Having enjoyed the rare feat of winning three big matches -- a battle royal included -- in one weekend, Ratt appeared to be in high spirits, but as it had at Pre-Show 3, that was about to be interrupted by a second answer to his open challenge...
6. Scott-Howell & Murdoink defeated xtactics & Celeste.
They emerged victorious at Supercard 4 against resurrected opponents, Artanix & foahchon, and with the good times rolling, "Sugar" Scott-Howell & Murdoink had the opportunity to create a streak against the circumstantial pairing of xtactics & Celeste! The latter made it 1-0 when they combined to secure their qualification into the Supercard 4 Battle Royal, but could they continue a recipe for success?... The answer was no.
The Great Arena's affectionately known "original team" had a tough fight on their hands, by no means walking away overwhelming victors despite an unusually punishing result. Scott-Howell & Murdoink only narrowly escaped with the win, proving that this favoured pairing still has some distance to travel before they achieve master status! With team combat rapidly becoming a popular sport, Howell & Murdoink will have no shortage of contenders to sharpen their skills against in the coming months.
Also on the horizon -- xtactics looks to be on a collision course with Porygonix! It was the #10 Contender who eliminated xtactics early during the Supercard 4 Battle Royal! It seems Porygonix has not taken too well to xtactics' rise to favour in the eyes of former-champion Kron! It can only be a matter of time before the two go head-to-head in a grudge match, but first, Porygonix will face the flow of challengers as the bottom rung on April 17's Tower of Power!
5. Ken defeated Baraka_MK in a solid win.
A disappointing result in the Supercard 4 Battle Royal meant Ken narrowly missed out on a place in the Tower of Power Top Ten, even though he secured a convincing victory at Pre-Show 4 against rivals, m0s & STEROLIZER. Eliminated twenty-third after just fifteen minutes, Ken will almost certainly desire a match against growing nemesis, m0s, but the lure of the Championship must take precedent with these qualifying rounds.
The man who just narrowly missed out on a guaranteed top ten ranking left no doubt when it came to battering randomly selected opponent, Baraka_MK. BMK simply didn't have the arena experience to challenge a man who has been rising through the ranks, working hard to turn his fortunes toward bigger and better things. The chance will be his when he challenges the ladder of The Tower of Power!
4. The_Purple_Bunny defeated unixpunk in a solid return match!
It was a moment of shock, of awe! The_Purple_Bunny had seemingly fallen in battle against Cr0w, but on the grandest stage of them all, he made his shocking return during the Thirty-Person Battle Royal! Unsuccessful at Supercard 4, TPB looked to keep the momentum of his return going with a big qualifying victory over fellow Battle Royal eliminee, unixpunk.
It was a comprehensive result in the end, propelling The_Purple_Bunny toward the challenger pool of The Tower of Power! Will his fairytale return to the living be but the first chapter in a rise to the top, or is TPB simply heading down the tunnel of light toward the train that killed him the first time? Cr0w will be waiting to answer to the challenge deep into the tower, April 17!
3. TonyTheTiger defeated Pink_Ranger in a comprehensive result.
TonyTheTiger had the right idea when he challenged Mimik to a rankings battle at Supercard 4, but when it came to getting the job done, it was a poor choice of opponent! TonyTheTiger's loss cost him a place in the contender ten, meaning it was back to basics in this special qualifying bout.
No shrinking violet, Pink_Ranger came to fight, but in the end TonyTheTiger was just too strong! He'll be one of the legitimate contenders when he joins the seven-strong challenge pool with an eye to resecure himself with victories over The Tower of Power!
2. Jammer2Omega defeated ScottK in a close qualifier.
One of the newer names in The Great Arena, Jammer2Omega made a red hot go of it in Tournament 4, coming up short against eventual winner and Supercard 4 Battle Royal contender, Shoe. In a rematch of his second round comprehensive win, J2O faced off with ScottK!
It must have been a bout of nervous deja vu that saw Jammer2Omega reach a much less decisive end, finishing his opponent with nothing to spare. When a shot at the Championship is on the line, a win's a win, but J2O will want to get a grip on his nerves when he takes on the daunting experience tree of The Tower of Power!
1. kororaa defeated STEROLIZER in a narrow grudge match!
Never one to take losing lightly, STEROLIZER entered the qualification round with extra gusto, looking for revenge against kororaa for eliminating him from his second big Battle Royal and personal record-setting survival of nine minutes, fourth total.
STEROLIZER isn't always taken completely seriously within the walls of The Great Arena, but to his credit, he came to fight! It was a close competition that saw kororaa advance to be the first competitor added to the Tower of Power Challenger Pool! As for STEROLIZER... well, he still isn't taken particularly seriously, but with seven losses, no wins, at least his legend is secure for the time being...
Supercard 5: The Tower of Power will see six challengers attempting to run the gauntlet of ten, before it folds in on itself in an elimination run toward the Undisputed Championship! After a shocking twist, the winning champion will then progress to face the daunting task of an additional tier made-up of the forces of Lord Mislukking! All of this, plus answers to what happened to Tyrant-Cenobite, April 17!
Challenger Pool: Tyrant-Cenobite, kororaa, Jammer2Omega, TonyTheTiger, The_Purple_Bunny, & Ken.

Hype: Tower of Power Top Ten Revealed!
It was the biggest event in the history of The Great Arena, but the action is far from over now that Supercard 4 is concluded! April 17 will see the Undisputed Championship contended once more, this time in the ultimate challenge as every single contender vies for their shot at glory!
Customarily, the conclusion of a Supercard marks the opportunity for a sitdown revision of the unofficial contender rankings. Supercard 4 is no exception, carrying with it the results of two Pre-Show events, as well as some of the biggest battles The Great Arena has ever witnessed. This new "unofficial" list becomes official today as it forms the Tower of Power -- a ladder of competitors who will face off against a pool of challengers before the tower turns in on itself, eliminating a contender until one person is left standing at the top to face the Undisputed Champion!
Challengers will be decided at a later date, but after missing his qualifying spot in the Thirty-Person Battle Royal at Supercard 4, Tyrant-Cenobite will be granted the opportunity to face the Tower of Power if he is fit to compete. As yet, noone knows why he missed his qualifying spot in the Battle Royal, or if he is even in a fit state to compete. His status will no doubt be updated when we learn the rest of the challenger pool!
Without further ado, let us learn the competitors who will make up the first ever Tower of Power:
Champion: Toryn (12-4-0) [Previous Rank: Champion]
Obviously, it goes without saying that the Undisputed Champion will be waiting at the top of the Tower of Power, ready to meet any challenger who fights their way to him. In the event that a challenger successfully defeats the contenders and wins the championship, the Tower of Power will officially end. Otherwise, Toryn can expect to meet one of the men listed below, who will be eliminated in consecutive fashion until only one top ten contender faces him in the final bout.
Toryn has been an unpopular fighter in his time in The Great Arena, stemming from an act during Tournament 1 that saw him go on a rampage against minions in an effort to increase his powers. He fell into momentary obscurity after failing to win either of the first two tournaments, but earned his way back into the spotlight in a legitimate fashion, culminating in a shock Supercard 3 win against then-champion, Kron!
Toryn's Supercard 4 main event victory against ElJobber proved without a doubt that capturing the Championship was more than a fluke, but against Lord Mislukking, the champ was easily humbled. He'll have to return at the top of his game if he's going to avoid suffering a similar defeat at the hands of the eventual challenger.
#1 Ratt (13-6-0) [Previous Rank: #4]
Ratt set himself a pretty steep challenge when he agreed to compete in two matches and a Battle Royal in a single weekend, but "The Iron Man" proved once again that he has the true grit to go all the way. Victorious in a team fight, Thirty-Person Battle Royal and rematch against arch-nemesis, Revenant Genku, there could be no denying Ratt's well earned position as #1 contender! Under ordinary circumstances, Ratt would surely enter a championship match as hot favourite, but with a sturdy list of contenders providing at least one addition obstacle, Ratt will have to be more than just an "Iron Man" to win the belt -- he'll have to be the best!
#2 Kron (11-3-0) [Previous Rank: #2]
The former champion united with Cr0w to defeat the Barons of Famine and Pestilence in a well considered Supercard 4 challenge, but if there's a fight Kron really wants, it is almost certainly a rematch against Toryn for the championship he lost at Supercard 3! Kron claims to have been "born again" as a more honorable fighter and was subsequently inspired by attacks on Ratt to take up the challenge against Famine (and Pestilence), but with the Championship on the line, will he really show any mercy when it comes to ending Ratt's dream to reach the top of the Tower of Power?
#3 Cr0w (10-4-0) [Previous Rank: #3]
He may have taken up the challenge to "End Famine" and made a decisive mark alongside Kron at Supercard 4, but if contention was measured by desire, Cr0w would be #1 bar none. The former champion has loitered in the upper ranks since losing his title to Kron at Supercard 1 and subsequent rematch defeat at Supercard 2. Will it be a chance to right the wrongs, or a nightmare come true all over again if Cr0w can win his way up the Tower of Power to face Kron?
#4 ElJobber (7-3-0) [Previous Rank: #1]
ElJobber earned his way to the top of the ranks with a single victory in the Supercard 1 forty-person Battle Royale, but came up short in a blockbuster Championship match that came down to the wire. With Cr0w, Kron and Ratt standing between he and a rematch, ElJobber will have to prove his worth by climbing the strong end of the Tower of Power to taste gold once more!
#5 Hokey (14-3-0) [Previous Rank: #5]
One of the more unassuming contenders in The Great Arena; Hokey has enjoyed some of the most notable success in the history of organized competition. Since the death of Genku, he has held top League Ranking honors, which extended to another victory this weekend when he teamed with Ninja_Mime for a second occasion. Hokey has been a sleeping dark horse for quite some time! Is he ready to be the one to conquer the Tower of Power at long last?
#6 Ninja_Mime (10-4-0) [Previous Rank: #6]
As a successful fighting partner to Hokey, Ninja_Mime has had a similarly quiet rise toward the top of the ranks. With a League fighting record equal to Cr0w, Ninja_Mime is another sleeping giant within the mid-tier of the contender rankings list, but if he's to capitalize on this opportunity, he will be forced to combat his partner in the climb to the top of the Tower of Power!
#7 Mimik (7-4-0) [Previous Rank: #7]
The winner of Tournament 3 secured his spot with a very strong showing against eager rival, TonyTheTiger! Mimik's successes have come in a steady wave, thanks to his newfound powers courtesy of increased training. Will this wave of momentum continue as Mimik faces the top contenders of the Tower of Power?
#8 Shoe (4-1-0) [Previous Rank: Not Ranked]
Shoe only debuted in The Great Arena at Pre-Show 4, but his success has been undeniable! This hot new contender fought his way through a bracket of sixteen to win Tournament 4, progressing to the Supercard 4 Thirty-Person Battle Royal where he entered #11 and lasted to be the #29th man behind winner and the man who eliminated him, Ratt! As a relative unknown quantity, Shoe might just be the man to climb the ladder of the Tower of Power!
#9 m0s (2-4-0) [Previous Rank: Not Ranked]
They say luck is the meeting of preparation and opportunity -- a philosophy m0s has been able to fully embody in his rise through the ranks. m0s was elevated from jobber to contender when he replaced The_Purple_Bunny in a match against Ken at Supercard 3. The rivalry that has built did not go well in a team match at Pre-Show 4, but on the grandest stage of them all, m0s proved himself as the real deal by eliminating Ken from the Thirty-Person Battle Royal, lasting an impressive forty-eight minutes to enter #9 and exit #25! m0s proved he can handle overwhelming odds by eliminating six fighters from the Battle Royal, but will he be able to go two better to win his way up the Tower of Power?
#10 Porygonix (7-7-0) [Previous Rank: #9]
The final spot has been the most contended, but on the back of four eliminations in the Supercard 4 Battle Royal, which he earned his way into with a qualifying victory over Jax, Porygonix has managed to oust fellow contender, Ken! Clinging to contention by his fingertips, Porygonix will have the most to prove when he confronts the upper ranks. With running buddy Kron occupying a higher spot, will Pory simply be part of a larger plan, or will the high stakes bring out a string of upsets as Poryg faces the acid test of the Tower of Power?
Porygonix will have plenty of practise before the Tower of Power folds in on itself! He will face the most competition of any fighter, fending off the non-elimination advances of the Challenger pool, before facing the daunting odds of fighting up nine levels to reach the Undisputed Championship! Those Challengers will be decided in the coming week, with the big Supercard 5 happening where it always does, April 17! Stay tuned!

Stay tuned!

Supercard 4: 2011 Ultimate Grand Prix - The Arena Spectacular!
April 3, 2011 -- It has been only three short months, but in this time, warriors have asserted themselves and legends been written. From the elimination stages of Tournament 1 and the Quest for Champion at Tournament 2, to the epic feuds between warrior champions at Triple Double and The Long Hard Road; The Great Arena has already played host to some of the most epic tales we will ever see. This is the culmination of these trials -- the rise of legends as immortals, and their ultimate test before attaining fighting godhood.
April 3 will forever be a day marked in history.
It will be the moment when a champion proved his worth in front of doubting peers. A day when an Iron Man proved he was capable of achieving the impossible. A day when the power of a partnership overcame a threat of elemental proportions. A day when battlelines were drawn and a people decided the time to fight had come. This is Supercard 4: 2011 Ultimate Grand Prix - The Arena Spectacular!
10. Lord Mislukking defeated Toryn in an impromptu +25 decimation!
A dejected ElJobber was left to the history books, but Toryn's lavish celebrations would be shortlived. For the first time in the history of competition, Lord Mislukking himself entered the arena! With his Barons defeated in the match prior, Mislukking looked more than ready to defend his side from any question. An impromptu challenge was to break out, leaving the Champion embarassed and utterly decimated under a crushing +25 onslaught!
With so many triumphs of the human spirit documented at this Supercard 4, it was an unfortunately sombre conclusion to the biggest moment in the history of The Great Arena! Though his barons lay broken, it was Lord Mislukking who had the last laugh, crushing the people's champion. With both sides now firing openly, can this mean all-out war between the factions of Mislukking and The Union of the Human League? Or will one individual find a way to bring peace to the war zone? This will be the story of the supercards that follow!
9. Toryn (c) defeated ElJobber in an incredibly close win!
It was a meeting of unknown quantities in the Supercard main event. Toryn only captured the championship weeks earlier, bringing with him the ire that has made him one of the most detested fighters in The Great Arena. On his side, however, was history: undefeated circumstances that would see 2011 Battle Royale contender and fighter with momentum, ElJobber, enter less than favourite.
Toryn's clean win over ElJobber at Tournament 1 would prove an accurate measure of their Championship rematch. ElJobber showed tremendous might and grit in his challenge, but Toryn once again over achieved with the belt on the line, battling to a narrow victory over the January contender. Though ElJobber's dreams of becoming champion were dashed, with this defense secured, Toryn must now be acknowledged as a worthy Champion! Love or hate him, Toryn has now overcome two of the biggest names in The Great Arena -- but will he able to do it again when the title goes on the line once again at Supercard 5: Tower of Power? Can he possibly resist the overwhelming swell of support for Ratt? Time will tell...
8. Cr0w & Kron defeated Famine & Pestilence in a devastating +18 decimation!
Anticipation for the team-up between Cr0w and Kron was intense! Not only was this a rare uniting of polar super-powers, it was also a clash of polar super-powers! For months, The Order of Barons under Lord Mislukking have gone almost completely unopposed. That changed during the build-up to Supercard 4 when Cr0w achieved the milestone of an exhibition victory over Ares Menschlich, the Baron of War. Could that possibly carry over to a clash with -two- Barons, under the tense conditions of an unholy alliance between The Great Arena's most storied rivals?! Apparently... yes!
Cr0w and Kron showed no signs of animosity in their duo clash with Bez Busshitsu and Praga Conquette! Under the spotlight of the greatest event in the history of organized competition, the Barons appeared to lose their ominous powers, patsys for the combined might of Cr0w and Kron! Perhaps inspired by the triumphs of Ratt, the pair unleashed a punishing decimation the likes of which noone could've anticipated! The encounter left Famine and Pestilence broken and embarassed! The result sends a clear message to Lord Mislukking and his forces, who have been increasing pressure on the Human League fighters in recent weeks.
Though the victory was as conclusive as it was sweet, denizens of the Cheevment Kingdom must wonder if they can rely on the union of their two greatest champions. Post-fight, tensions resumed between Cr0w and Kron, neither willing to conceed a team effort. As the greatest rivalrly The Great Arena has ever seen, it can only be a matter of time before these two titans collide once more -- let us hope it is not at the expense of everyone else!
7. Ratt defeated Revenant Genku in a comprehensive win!
Having already won the Battle Royal earlier in the day and competed in a team match at Pre-Show 4, Ratt was asking a lot of himself to come face-to-face with Revenant Genku! Genku had the better of Ratt in their last meeting, but the psychological advantage was nil for a Ratt so ready to defy the odds!
The result was never in doubt as Ratt maintained his speeding bullet momentum, running over Genku in what could have been an utter decimation had he not expelled so much energy in previous matches! Revenant Genku must have been wishing he was dead again as the applause of the crowd buoyed a Ratt who achieved three massive wins in two days! Ratt is now hot favourite to be #1 contender, but he'll have to fend off the best of the ten before he can face the winner of Toryn and ElJobber at the April 17 Supercard, Tower of Power! Assuming, of course, the council determining the unofficial rankings agree with the people...
6. Hokey & Ninja_Mime defeated DeathScepter & DaMo in a punishing +13 team decimation!
When Hokey & Ninja_Mime picked up a team victory at Supercard 3, they probably thought it was going to be a one-off showing. With success comes a bullseye, however, and DeathScepter and DaMo were keen to make a name for themselves off of the success of the makeshift duo.
The bizarre pairing were punished for their gluttony with a +13 beatdown that left DeathScepter clinging to life. The domination exhibited by Hokey & Ninja_Mime now raises the question of whether or not they can survive an inevitable meeting at Tower of Power, to continue their success as a two-time undefeated team-up!
5. Mimik defeated TonyTheTiger in a ranking decimation!
TonyTheTiger's campaign to climb the rankings had started quite well at Supercard 3, where he got the best of Porygonix. The Tournament 3 winner wasn't going to be as accomodating, however, particularly not with the rankings meaning so much ahead of Supercard 5: Tower of Power!
It was a no nonsense decimation of TonyTheTiger's challenge and hopes of getting an easier ticket toward the Undisputed Championship at SC5! Mimik was dominant, showing the strength of a fighter who has matured significantly over the course of three months. Mimik can now be confident that he will hold a ranking position when the unofficial top ten are announced for ladder spots at the Tower of Power! For TonyTheTiger -- it's back to the drawing board!
4. Scott-Howell & Murdoink defeated Artanix & foahchon in their surprise return to The Great Arena!
Just as The_Purple_Bunny had returned to life in the Battle Royal, so too did Artanix and foahchon make their unexpected arrival as "Mystery Opponents" for The Great Arena's first true team, Scott-Howell & Murdoink!
Despite the shocking spectacle of their entrance into competition, the revived fighters were no match for the combined experience of Scott-Howell & Murdoink. There could be no malice in the occasion, however, as the quartet enjoyed the rare moment. Scott-Howell & Murdoink will presumably move forward from their win with eyes toward establishing themselves as the best competitive team in The Great Arena! What Artanix & foahchon intend to do with their newfound life, remains to be seen.
3. Aquilluxborg Hydroxybot defeated SixArmedSamurai in a hard fought battle!
They are two of the more elusive warriors when it comes to competing in The Great Arena, not sanctioned by The Union of the Human League. With such a grand stage, it would have been remiss to deny them the opportunity to do combat. Though rarely seen under these conditions, the pair put on an exceptional showing, incredibly evenly matched despite the vast differences in their skills!
2. Ratt (#18) eliminated Shoe (#11) to win the Battle Royal!
A random entry of thirty-one competitors was on the card; nine guaranteed qualifiers, six pre-announced competitors, the winner of Tournament 4, Shoe, and the extra "iron man" Ratt, who would also face Revenant Genku later in the night, all lined up waiting to go!
Starting the match at #1 and #2 respectively, unixpunk and xtactics represented the long and short of it, in terms of experience in The Great Arena and in Battle Royal situations. Attacks were fast and furious making them the first candidates for a Battle Royal rivalry, but xtactics would find a more personal foe in #10 Porygonix, who had been Kron's protege before the former-champ eyed xtactics off as the next big thing. Porygonix made his rival elimination #5.
#3 kororaa found herself a nemesis in infamous Battle Royal fixture, STEROLIZER (#5). They exchanged many blows, before STERO was the #4 elimination. Though a humiliating exit, it was a vast improvement on STERO's 2011 Battle Royale showing, where he went out #1 the instant he entered!
Tournament 4 winner, Shoe, arrived early at #11, "Iron Man" Ratt made his big entrance at #18. The pair added to Porygonix and m0s (#9) as power players in the battle. "Big John" Bofh (#20) put in a good show, eliminating Ghostdragon (#12) just a minute after entering the match.
#21 CaTigeReptile made an early impact, shrugging off the advances of m0s to eliminate GuiltyByDesign, kororaa, and AlexanderLuthorJr, before exiting courtesy of the somewhat missing fan-favourite DECEPTION (#29). The_Purple_Bunny was an even bigger surprise entrant, however, apparently returning from the dead to enter at #26. His lifeline was cut after twenty-five minutes by Ratt -- but we're sure to see plenty more from The_Purple_Bunny in the coming months.
In the end, the stars of the show had to be Ratt, m0s, and Porygonix, who collectively eliminated over half the field! Ratt -- a man already famous for doing the impossible in a Battle Royal -- ended the bout with an impressive seven eliminations, one better than m0s and three more than Porygonix! In the end, it came down to Ratt and Shoe, a well fought, but academic conclusion to a match that went one hour and four minutes.
Celebrations were cut short for Ratt as he exited to prepare for his third match in the weekend against arch-rival Revenant Genku. Those celebrations were much shorter than Tyrant-Cenobite's, however. Despite qualifying for guaranteed entry into the random thirty-one person draw, Tyrant was nowhere to be seen! Why he failed to enter a match he fought hard to earn his way into is a question we can only ask until he emerges!
1. Mark defeated rxvt in a close fought grudge match!
It was at Pre-Show 3 that it seemed these two would miss their opportunity to appear at the biggest event of them all. After failing to qualify for the Thirty-Person Battle Royal by the slimmest of margins, their fortunes were gambled on a team bout against xtactics & Celeste at Pre-Show 4, where rxvt & Mark came up short once again.
This unlikely turn of events is what bought them a ticket to the undercard as rxvt turned his ire toward one-time partner, Mark. Blaming him for their defeat, rxvt sought revenge, only to be humbled on the grandest stage of them all. It was a hard fought encounter, won by the slimmest of margins, but in the end, rxvt could only fume in the face of defeat!
0. A special introduction by Mick and Ares Menschlich
In an incredibly rare moment, Mick entered The Great Arena alongside the Baron of War, Ares Menschlich. As the two leading proponents of organized competition, they personally thanked everyone for their on-going participation and attendance in "The Arena". With a marquee team match between Cr0w & Kron and The Barons of Famine & Pestilence, it was an understandably tense moment, but War's dedication to combat remained evident throughout proceedings.
Mick acknowledged all the human fighters who have contributed to the unfolding saga of The Great Arena, but singled out one fighter who took the coward's way out -- Genku. He described Genku's 'resurrection' as a new, unprecedented dimension in the rivalry between his and War's factions and a potential turning point he did not intend to endorse. Mick bathed the arena in a pure white light and declared that on this, the single most important day in Supercard history, there would be LIFE!
Exactly what that had meant would become apparent as Supercard 4 unfolded...

Mick bathed the arena in a pure white light and declared that on this, the single most important day in Supercard history, there would be LIFE!
Exactly what that had meant would become apparent as Supercard 4 unfolded...
