ICWW: CIvil Action (Apr 22, 2003)

CIVIL ACTION RETURNS!
ICWW: CIVIL ACTION APRIL 22, 2003

Special mention:
The Rising Star, Dez Burnett, asserts himself as the number one contender for the hardcore title - look out Loopster!

QUICK RESULTS:
[Hardcore] - Loopster [c] d. The Hurricane
Jauger d. Dez Burnett
Violent J d. Chaos Drone
[Tag Team] - Statix & Shamrock d. Nomad & Rakesh [c]

The crowd was electric, as Buddy Luv and Stat-Man welcomed fans to the big show, with the Tag Team championships on the line in the night's headlining match. They were also happy to announce that although still wheel chair bound, Michael Lucifer had been discharged to the comfort of his home, in the care of his wife.

Johnny Begoode headed to the ring to take another chance at singing, as he had done on the previous week on Civil Action, but he got a rude shock when instead of his original track, Loopster's theme hit the sound system! The hardcore champion raced down to the ring and attacked the ICWW singer with the hardcore title belt!

The crowd stood back, as the Hurricane swooped down to the ring to make the save! Hurricane taking Loopster down with a hard swinging neck breaker, and then went for a cover, calling the referee from ringside to make the count. Only scoring a one count, the resident super hero continued the assault with a hard chop, sending Loopster reeling back to the corner, where Hurricane was able to send him across the ring with a rolling toss! From there the hero went upstairs, looking for a big splash, but nobody was home! Loopster picked the Hurricane up and hit the something factor, and then climbed the turnbuckle, presumably for the loop screw, but the Hurricane recovered, causing Loopster to lose his footing by shaking the top rope. Hurricane went up, taking Loopster down with a top rope superplex! Suddenly Dez Burnett raced down to the ring and dropped the Hurricane with a something factor, allowing a still dazed Loopster to make the cover and retain his belt! Burnett snatched microphone and threw the hardcore title to Loopster. He said that from then on to Kingdom Come, the hardcore title was off limits, because the rising star was going to take the title for himself at the center stage.

Backstage Rockey Rakesh was with the Nomad, sporting a sharp new look. The Nomad asked Rakesh who he was supposed to be, and he told him that he was supposed to be the tag team champion, and the next heavyweight champion. The Nomad asked him how that happened, and Rakesh said he was going to make a challenge to Triple H, so that he could get revenge for his bhai getting paralyzed. The Nomad told Rakesh that if he won the heavyweight title he might one day almost achieve the level of greatness the Nomad has. Rakesh gave thumbs up.

In the Dark Lotus locker room Violent J entered with Chaos Drone. He told Marz to come and have a look at him, and Marz asked why he had brought him into their room. Violent J told Marz that he thought he could join the Dark Lotus. Marz said he didn't like the look of him, and J insisted that he had what they were looking for. Marz wasn't aware they were looking for something, but J assured him that they needed Chaos Drone. He said he had the three P's; poise, persistence and paint. Marz still wasn't convinced, so J told him he'd prove it to him in the ring. Shaggy 2 Dope started clapping, setting the beat for Violent J to start dancing.

Jauger the Hitman's music hit next, in an unscheduled appearance. He wandered down to the ring, firing off some winks and finger bangs to his adoring fans. Jauger used his cane to pull himself up and into the ring, and asked for a mic. He reminded the crowd of his match last week, when Dez Burnett cost him the extreme-hardcore title. He said as far as he was concerned Burnett cost him more than his title, but also an excuse to celebrate with the ladies, and that wasn't good. He called Burnett out, challenging him to his first match since his return. The Rising Star's music started up and he skipped on stage. He acknowledged that what he did wasn't right, and granted the Hitman a chance at redemption.

Jauger tossed his cane and jacket out of the ring and prepared to tie up, but Burnett didn't give him a chance, going straight on the attack with a spinning heel kick! The Hitman recovered, looking for a sweeping kick, but the rising star jumped it, but was unable to dodge the spear takedown. Jauger tied up with an arm scissors, but was too close to the ropes to keep Burnett away from the ropes. The Hitman went off the ropes, looking for a clothesline, but Burnett ducked it and took him down with a flying head scissors! With Jauger down he hit a standing moonsault, and then climbed the turnbuckle for the rising star 450 splash! He got some big air, allowing Jauger to roll out of the way right at the last second! From there it was a stunner, and a pin, allowing the hitman to score the win with a lateral press. Jauger kissed one of the lovely ladies in the front row, before heading to the back.

Backstage Jason Shamrock was in the gym preparing himself for the tag team championship match later in the night. Triple H was finishing up lifting some weights when he spotted Shamrock, he wished him luck and told him to squash the little fire cracker for him. Shamrock glanced at him coldly, and told him he didn't squash fighters, he defeated them honorably. The Game laughed and told him to take it easy, before heading to his locker room. The Game told the camera man to follow him so that he could get a good shot of him with the heavyweight title, but when the game opened his locker room door only to find Edge unconscious, tied to a wooden cross, with the title belt over his shoulder. Edge, and much of the wall he was lent against was covered in blood, in what appeared to say "end game". Triple H backed out of the room and shouted at the camera man, telling him to get someone.

Chaos Drone hit the ring, returning after a brief hiatus from ICWW after his grueling X-Division championship match with Loopster. The Y2Juggalo followed, to a big response, dancing his way down to the ring - pointing to his JCW champ t-shirt. He grabbed a microphone and reminded all his fans to buy the new Team Extreme posters available on ICWW.cjb.net to help support the Dark Lotus, and Team X. Chaos Drone attacked Violent J before he was ready, and J started shouting at him for doing so, and then dropped him with a DDT! The Drone jumped back up, sending the Y2Juggalo into the ropes and managed to drop him with a flapjack! Violent J recovered and dropped the Drone with a swinging neck breaker, and followed it up with a leg drop. He clamped down the walls of juggalo but the Drone managed to reach the ropes and save himself. Drone hit a stunner, sending J back and off the ropes, but he blocked a second stunner, hitting the psycho flip instead! With Chaos Drone down Violent J spun around in the middle of the ring for a Jarooni, and then made the cover, picking up himself a much needed win.

There was a hushed anticipation in the arena as fans prepared themselves for the tag team championship match. Statix and Jason Shamrock headed to the ring together, both looking extremely focused. Rockey Rakesh headed to the ring next, sporting his new bad ass look, with the tag team strap under his jacket! The Nomad headed to the ring looking smug as ever, strutting his way to the ring with his championship belts. He handed over the straps and the match got under way, Statix attacking the Nomad, while Rakesh did his best to fend off Shamrock. The referee restored order, getting Statix and Nomad, the two illegal men out of the ring. Shamrock went on the offensive, dropping Rakesh with a hard DDT, and then linked it into a snap suplex. The fire cracker unleashed himself on Shamrock with a boxing combo, driving him into the corner, but Shamrock over powered him and slammed him into the corner, going to work with his own punches! He whipped Rakesh into his own corner and tagged in Statix, who went straight to work with a big back heel. Statix went off the ropes looking for a clothesline, but Rakesh countered with an arm drag, but Statix rolled through it and jumped off the ropes for a huge plancha! With Rakesh down Statix went for the rolling thunder, but he over shot the mark, allowing the fire cracker to make the tag! The Nomad jumped in and slammed Statix down with a clothesline, and then Shamrock jumped in, and Nomad took him down with a clothesline also. Statix snuck up behind and took the world champion down with a German suplex, but suplexed Nomad right into the referee! With the referee down Statix continued to stomp away when suddenly the Dark Lotus raced down to the ring! Violent J and Shaggy attacked Jason Shamrock and Rakesh, while Marz tossed Statix out of the ring and hit the stunned Nomad with a devastating turnbuckle springboard kick! With the Nomad down Dark Lotus fled, allowing Statix to return to the ring and make the cover, making Shamrock and Statix the new tag team champions! The two took their titles but didn't allow the referee to raise their hands, the two instead shaking hands with the Nomad and Rakesh, believing it to be a cheap win. Nomad returned the favour by hitting the bible black on Shamrock and Statix, leaving them down as CA rounded up.
