Buddy Luv and Stat-Man welcomed fans back to another exciting ICWW show, the
return of Civil Action no less! They informed fans of the huge stakes on the show,
MMAF Grand Kumite final, and a merging X-Division/hardcore championship bout!
Buddy Luv informed fans that Albert Beefcake was also live at the hospital where Michael Lucifer was staying, apparently experiencing paralysis, and they'd cross there later in the night to talk to his doctor, and hopefully Lucifer himself.
Marz headed to the ring, accompanied by Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope, looking to have a few words. He told the fans that he was sure they were disappointed IWA was closed, but that they shouldn't fret, because the Dark Lotus were still in the house for their entertainment. Marz then said that he had a hugely entertaining show planned for fans later in the night, and thanked the fans for their support in advance for his Grand Kumite victory. The Nomad's music started and the dual International and Tag Team champion stepped out on stage. He told Marz that he was deluded for thinking he could with the kumite, because this was the new era of the Nomad, and not a soul in the arena could change that, least of all a sad clown.
He told the Lotus that they shouldn't worry about their tag team championships because the Nomad was going to keep them company with a whole stack of other gold, so that the Nomad's could stop wandering, and start wondering what their hero would do next, and which gold he would win for them. Marz laughed and told the world champion that things were far from over. A flower power chant ended things.
Eric Angle hit the ring next to face the second tag team champion, the little fire cracker - Rockey Rakesh! Rakesh exploded first with an assault of punches,
placing Angle on the back foot, but it didn't last. Angle turned the tables with a fireman's carry, and then a nice leg lock. Rockey fought his way out of the hold and went off the ropes, taking Angle back with a shoulder block, and then looked for the Indian powerbomb, but Angle managed to counter it into a DDT! Angle picked his opponent up for the Angle slam, and finished it with a strong pin fall.
Backstage the heavyweight champion strutted past former ICWW superstar, Banging! Banging told him that what he did at the Dark Carnival was pretty low,
and something a heavyweight champion should never do. The game asked him who he was to tell him what to do, and Banging got in his face, informing him that he was a former ICWW heavyweight champion himself. The game laughed and shoved the visiting star aside, heading to his locker room as Banging gazed on.
Albert Beefcake now reporting with Michael Lucifer's doctor live from the hospital.
Dr. Jeph informed the Beefer that Lucifer was indeed paralyzed from the waist down. He explained that earlier he had been experiencing some minor tension in his lower back, something not uncommon for large athletes. The trauma sustained from Triple H's sledge hammer attack on the weekend had effectively sent Lucifer's spine into a state of shock. He assured Albert that in very few cases an injury of this sort was permanent, and would likely have no future significance, however for the time being Lucifer would not be able to walk. Albert asked when Lucifer's strength would return, to which he found would depend on his will power. It could take anywhere between two hours, to two years, it really would depend on Lucifer's attitude.
The camera man followed Albert into Lucifer's room, where he was sleeping.
Gwen Lucifer said he had felt some sensation's in his feet earlier in the day, and he was feeling very positive about a return in the future. Albert then invited Gwen for a break and a cup of old fashion Alaskan java, to which she accepted.
Back in the arena Buddy Luv cursed the camera man who left his camera down
in the room, and still rolling on a sleeping Lucifer. Stat-Man pointed out the costs.
Unfamiliar theme music hit the arena as a young superstar from the NMW training
camp prepared to have his first match in the big leagues. Twisted Sanity raced his way to the ring, surveying the crowd with an eagle eye before getting hyped up.
The former hardcore champion raced down to the ring to take on the latest rookie.
Statix started the match off fast with a spinning heel kick, but Sanity showed fierce tenacity, going on the offensive with hard knife edged chops. Statix was forced into the corner, where he managed to boot the Twisted superstar back, and climb the second rope, launching himself with a spear takedown! With Sanity wavering, it was academic, Statix finishing it off with the Blood Bomb and a pin. Statix tried to congratulate the young superstar on his performance, but he fled from the ring.
Attention crossed once again to the live feed from Michael Lucifer's hospital bed, where someone appeared to be entering the room. With the lights out and Lucifer sleeping it was difficult to tell who it was, appearing to be a male figure at least.
The mystery man could be heard whispering, asking Lucifer if he really thought Triple H was responsible for his recent bad luck. The shadowy figured laughed before exiting the room, as Buddy Luv went wild at the commentators booth. Stat-Man pointed out how smart the ICWW camera crew were.
Johnny Begoode headed to the ring next to sing a song about Llama's, a performance intending to hype the next match, which would see the X-Division and hardcore championship belts come together. Apparently Loopster saw the song unfitting for the unification session, brutally attacking Begoode and stealing his mic.!
Loopster said he was getting pretty sick of unification matches, and said if he had a similar result to his last title for title match Begoode was going to hear about it.
Jason Shamrock headed to the ring, the new hardcore champion looking in peak physical condition. The sick one went on the attack first, taking Shamrock down with a diving forearm, and then followed it up with a spinning leg drop. Shamrock climbed to his feet and chopped back at Loopster, driving him back with impressive Thai kicks, and then a huge snap suplex! Loopster rolled to the outside, taking a moment to breathe on his hands and knees, but disappeared beneath the ring!
Shamrock became impatient and looked under, taking a trash can to the face for his curiosity! Loopster climbed out and plastered Shamrock with the bin lid, thrashing him left and right, before sending him into the crowd barrier with a hard thrust kick.
Shamrock managed to duck another weapon assault, and take Loopster down with a belly to belly suplex! He went for the cover but Loopster kicked out, using the near by trash can to beat him back. Loopster tossed the can, setting Shamrock up for a drop kick to can slam! With Shamrock down, Loopster made the cover!
Loopster jumped back in the ring to have his arm raised by the referee, when Johnny Begoode jumped into the ring and joined the celebration. Loopster hugged Begoode and the two laughed, Loopster getting the last laugh with a something factor! Johnny Begoode had to be helped to the back by referees.
Crossing live to the ICWW gym, regular home of the MMAF steel cage!
Marz was receiving a pep talk from Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope, as the Nomad entered the room, with a big pop in the arena where fans were watching on the big screen. Marz entered the cage first taunting the Nomad who handed his two belts to the referee before stepping into the ominous steel boundaries.
They tapped fists, Marz jumping the Nomad from behind as he retreated to his side, taking him down with a hard bulldog! Nomad bounced back furiously, driving Marz into the cage wall with a modified spear, and then went to work with a series of hard kicks to the mid section. Marz backed off, protecting his rib cage from any body rips. The Nomad stalked his opponent once more looking for a crescent kick, but Marz ducked under it, and turned his trajectory mid roll, striking him with a rolling wheel kick. Nomad staggered back, and Marz used the cage to spring himself into the world champ with a plancha style attack! Nomad was on the back foot as Marz looked to clean it up with a blood bomb, but the Nomad managed to counter the move, flipping Marz onto his back with a back body drop! The Nomad picked Marz up and drove him face first into the cage, raking his forehead open. From there Nomad hit the crescent kick and went for a cover, but Marz kicked out!
Nomad hooked up with a figure four leg lock looking for a submission win, but Marz managed to reach out to the cage and pull himself, elevating the pressure and applying it back down to the Nomad. They broke the hold and squared up once more, Marz hooking up with a front face lock, but the Nomad managed to counter it into a huge jackhammer. He applied a camel clutch, but Marz kicked out.
From there it was a bible black, and Marz was out cold, unable to continue.
The referee raised the Nomad's hand, as Nomad pointed out to the fans through the camera and shouted that he was the world, the tag and the cage champ, which practically made him king of the entire freakin' world. He slung his ICWW belts over his shoulder, and accepted the MMAF trophy as Civil Action went off the air.
