Special: Dead Or Alive X

Fifteen years ago... one fateful decision laid the groundwork for a vision that is still being celebrated to this very day! ICWW was a renegade proposition when it launched, but from The Frontline of its earliest struggles -- a trail was blazed to create a Revolution & Retribution unlike any other!

Legends were forged in the fires of ICWW's Inferno, pushing mere mortals beyond Breaking Point! Their souls danced amidst the Dark Carnival, damned as they pursued a Kingdom Come of glory and gold. Their heinous Reckoning was to walk a Highway to Hell, but their reward for this Fatal Attraction was to go beyond the End of Infinity! Their path ended where it had already been, delivered thy Kingdom Come - but what if they survived...?

On the 15th Anniversary of ICWW, the greatest legends in ICWW history have converged once again at the event that defines their legacy! Imagine their surprise to find themselves living and so very much alive! Kill them if you can! This is the event of immortals! This is: Dead Or Alive X!

15. Ratt & NightHawk issue championship challenge for All-Star Summer Showdown!
Before the celebrations could end: Ratt & NightHawk entered The Great Arena to the shock of everyone in attendance! CCShadow & Scott-Howell may've secured their dynasty with another big victory over the legendary Pacific Connection -- but they will face an even bigger challenge at this year's All-Star Summer Showdown! Ratt & NightHawk lost the Duo Division Championship in a memorable upset at The Spring Classic! On Sunday, August 20th - they will come to reclaim their title in a rematch at Supercard 97! A bombshell challenge to bring Dead Or Alive X to a close!

14. CCShadow & Scott-Howell (c) defeated "The Pacific Connection" Oozaru & Banging in a competitive encounter. [+1] [Duo Division Championship]
The Pacific Connection were revered as two-time ICWW Tag Team Champions, but in their three attempts, they haven't been able to dethrone Duo Division Champions: CCShadow & Scott-Howell! Their epic rivalry began with a blockbuster title match on the May 5th edition of Friday Night Fights. It quickly led to another five-star superfight in the main event of Pre-Show 93! Their final encounter at Supercard 94: Red Reign seemingly proved the champs had The Connection's number, but after Oozaru & Banging's brief pursuit of solo gold at Royal Roulette, there was an appetite for one more main event!

The people wanted to see The Pacific Connection turn back the clock to their title winning glory days of Breaking Point, Highway to Hell, or even Royal Roulette 2012! If they did - it would mean carrying the prestigious Duo Division Championship into All-Star Summer Showdown! Unfortunately for them, the ICWW 15th Anniversary has fallen in the middle of CCShadow & Scott-Howell's ascension to legendary duo status! It was once again a high-level, high-octane clash of these two rival tandems that could've dominated any other teams! They delivered another incredible match, but as fatigue and lactic acid set in - it was clear the champions had the extra gear! A scintillating title defense may have crushed the fairy tale ending for DOAX, but it once again confirms the dynasty of a new era of two-man fighting! The Pacific Connection shook hands with their rivals, before leaving The Great Arena to a chorus of cheers. The Champions joined in the applause, but their celebration would not be the final scene at Dead Or Alive X!...

13. Genku defeated "Y2Juggalo" Violent`J in a comprehensive victory. [+1]
Dead Or Alive V was the last time Chairman Mick went to war as the fabled "Spirit of Vengeance". It was a fitting end to his fighting career, striking down his last unvanquished nemesis - the man who brought an end to ICWW: "Mystery CEO" DaemonX. Though DX returned to lead an Invasion of The Great Arena, Mick remained out of the spotlight as League Chairman. There was no reason to fight -- until Genku began a campaign that culminated in a spiteful challenge for DOAX! True to his word, Genku entered The Great Arena to await the answer to his challenge. Those that knew him as Michael Lucifer likely figured the ICWW 15th Anniversary would inspire a return, but the "quality opponent" the Chairman promised was an ICWW World Champion of a very different kind!

"Y2Juggalo" Violent`J officially pledged allegiance to The Invasion at last year's DOA, but tension with Genku led VJ to support false claims of vote tampering after The Invasion Election. They fought at Battle Royale, and again at The Spring Classic. It probably shouldn't have come as a surprise, then, when Violent`J entered The Great Arena in Mick's place! It simply wouldn't have been an ICWW DOA Anniversary without Violent`J: the only man in history to have held both the ICWW World and great arena Undisputed Championships! Genku wasn't feeling the nostalgia, though. He wasted no time delivering a devastating knock-out to the Hall of Fame legend! Spitting on VJ in disgust, Genku addressed the stunned audience in attendance, declaring Mick a failure as Chairman - and a coward!

12. United: The_Purple_Bunny defeated "The Predator" TonyTheTiger and Marz in a dominant endurance performance! [+1/--/-1]
Hall of Fame legend Marz needed no introduction when he was a surprise entrant into this year's Royal Roueltte match. In ICWW he was the longest reigning World Champion, and in The Great Arena he held the Duo Division Championship for a record shattering 420 consecutive days! He outlasted "The Predator" TonyTheTiger in the Royal Roulette final four, but succumbed to the combined assault of winner Poasty, and United: The_Purple_Bunny! TPB has been desperate to earn his 7th Undisputed Championship win in 2017, but has been continually derailed. He was happy, then, when Marz was taken out of the equation in the first stage of the three-way struggle. TPB kept on top of the fight, rewriting the finish of the thirty-man battle royal with a dominant DOAX victory!

11. "The New Generation" DECEPTION & Onryo defeated "The Invasion" Jason_Voorhees & edge in a comprehensive victory. [+2]
"Hollywood" Jason_Voorhees was one of the last stars to rise in the final days of ICWW. Records of a rumored Tag Team Championship have been lost, but since bringing edge to The Great Arena, he's led one of the hottest Duo Division contenders in the league! DECEPTION & Onryo both had brief brushes with ICWW, but found stardom in The Great Arena! They won Duo Division gold way back at Supercard 18, recently reuniting to conquer Onryo's UGP7 white whales: Mark & Leroy! At Dead Or Alive IX, Onryo went solo to beat edge, setting the stage for a tag team dream match for DOAX! Alas; The Invasion's dreams of payback were cut short as they faced a force unlike any they've met in The Great Arena before! The pure power of "The Hitman" DECEPTION led a dominant New Gen offense, leaving no doubt about the final result and The New Generation's rapid rise back to the top!

10. Statix defeated DaemonX in a comprehensive victory! [+6]
Statix was known for his unique visions in the final days of ICWW, but his expectation to confirm DaemonX as the New Invasion's "Black King" proved false at DOAX! When AlbertBeefcake opened The Case of The Italian Bishop; Statix quickly reached the conclusion that DaemonX was likely the mastermind. He failed to get answers at Supercard 94, but figured the notorious "Mystery CEO" was revisiting an unfinished conspiracy that brought about ICWW's demise. Instead, DaemonX revealed himself in possession of a Black Queen upon defeat! He may have held considerable powerful with The Invasion, but his movements across the board have been in service of another!

9. United: Mime (c) defeated Rockey316 in a comprehensive victory! [+4] [KFL Championship]
Throughout July Rockey316 was heavily promoted as India's only Hall of Famer and a decorated champion. The beloved ICWW legend made his return to Dead Or Alive hoping to add the KFL Championship to his list of accolades, which includes an ICWW Heavyweight Championship win at Kingdom Come (2003)! United: Mime was ill prepared for an opponent he didn't know a great deal about, but that didn't stop the dominant champion exerting his will over the match! Rockey316 is still the same fire cracker he always was, but in Mime he found an opponent of even greater miles! A +4 impact smothered the fire of Bangalore's best, but Rockey316 will always get up again!

8. Baraka_MK & MKMaster defeated Mark & Leroy in a comprehensive win. [+1]
Appearing at their first Dead Or Alive, Baraka_MK & MKMaster were men on a mission! Their goal: to seek retribution for the loss at Ultimate Grand Prix VII that split BMK from his former Duo partner and frequent DOA fighter: "Mad Dog" Onryo. Their last attempt at Supercard 94 went poorly, but with more experience under their belt, BMK & MKM were ready to beat Mark & Leroy at DOAX - or die trying! There was no risk of the latter - the extra experience paying dividends as they dominated the match for a comprehensive win! The pair embraced as they celebrated the victory!

7. Evil AlbertBeefcake defeated The_Hurricane in convincing fashion. [+2]
As "The New Super Friends" they won the ICWW Tag Team Championships in a celebrated match at Panic Attack (2004)! In 2015, they were together again at Pre-Show 72, sensing the imminent danger of The Invasion! It seems inconceivable that The_Hurricane could ever have a reason to want to fight AlbertBeefcake -- but after his shock disappearance, The Beefer returned at Royal Roulette a very different man! Evil replaced the glint in Albo's eye as he callously ignored The_Hurricane's pleas for a sign of the friend he once knew. Instead of a trademark "rar", Albert offered only pain as he steamrolled over his former partner! At Dead Or Alive IX they challenged for the Duo Division Championship. Now, it's very hard to imagine this legendary team will ever fight together again...

6. King Ken defeated "Wild Pegasus" Zentile in a solid victory! [+1]
"Wild Pegasus" Zentile is a man who has been fighting on the edge for too long! This unpredictable renegade has been pushed to incredible highs, but also dangerous lows. No fighter has been able to break him, but at Pre-Show 96: Heat Up Scramble, King Ken kept him out of the annual Royal Roulette match. Seeking an honest revenge, Zentile challenged the "King of the World" to fight at DOAX. What he got was an honest defeat. His high-risk offense failed him as King Ken proved too strong to beat. Despite the result, Zentile remains unbroken and ready to shock at any moment!

5. United: Murdoink defeated Loopster in a solid result. [+1]
When Loopster discovered vulnerability on Monday Night Games, he led The Invasion pawns in an incursion against The United stronghold, established in January. The United had been pulled apart by injury and in-fighting, and Murdoink allowed himself to be distracted with self-interested rivalry. Loopster's Invasion was defeated during the July 31st edition of VS United, but the former ICWW Eurasian Champion demanded a United opponent for DOAX! He drew a fair fight in Murdoink, but found himself surprisingly upset in a solid victory! Redemption at DOA for Murdoink!

4. "Brexiteers" Liam & nif defeated "The Invasion" WilliamRegal & TripleH [+1]
If they'd been around a decade earlier: Liam & nif might've been ICWW Tag Team Champions! They served as tangential agents of The Invasion last year, but broke away as part of The British Exit, conquering the Duo Division in 2017. WilliamRegal & TripleH were opponents at last year's Dead Or Alive, but their introduction created a new Duo for a new Invasion! This clash of old and new proved closer than expected. The Brexiteers secured the win, but The Invasion live to fight another day.

3. PaganFreak defeated Jauger in a strong win. [+1]
They didn't have a lot to do with each other in the days of ICWW, but when The Invasion threatened The Great Arena: PaganFreak and Jauger were quick to pledge their loyalty to The Alliance! They fought together up to Dead Or Alive IX, but it all changed shortly thereafter, at last year's All-Star Summer Showdown! Changes in The Invasion  coaxed Jauger to the darkside, leading him to brutally turn on PaganFreak! The Alliance may've ended, but the bad blood was still boiling as PaganFreak faced his Invasion foe at DOAX! The grudge fueled a vicious victory as PaganFreak fought hard to a strong win!

2. Killswitch & jack4813 defeated "The Invasion" MattHardy & Ghrimm in a solid win. [+2]
MattHardy once held the ICWW Tag Team Championships with The_Hurricane, but his newest partnership as part of The Invasion is yet to yield such noteworthy results. Killswitch & jack4813 only recently forged an alliance to fight rxvt & deadly, but have quickly ingratiated themselves as a winning team to watch. They had no trouble overcoming MattHardy & Ghrimm, picking up a strong win over the ICWW Invasion alum.

1. Shamrock eliminated Shaggy2Dope to win the Elimination Battle Royal!
DOA Battle Royal Eliminations:
1. Shen_DuHBK elim. Jesseman
2. Shaggy2Dope elim. The_Rock
3. Shamrock elim. __-Standards-__
4. SubMan799 elim. Jericho
5. Shen_DuHBK elim. STEROLIZER
6. Shamrock elim. Shen_DuHBK
7. Shaggy2Dope elim. SubMan799
8. Shaggy2Dope elim. Dez-Burnett
9. Shamrock elim. Shaggy2Dope
A wave of nostalgia washed over The Great Arena as a rogues gallery of ICWW superstars and honorary competitors flooded in for a good old fashioned Elimination Battle Royal!

When the bell tolled it was one of the new breed to kick-start the action: SubMan799 wasting no time attacking STEROLIZER and __-Standards-__! He may've been first to attack, but it was the "Red Cyclone" of Shen_DuHBK who blew the first fighter out - eliminating the decrepit Jesseman after just 48 seconds!

STEROLIZER jumped Shen_DuHBK while the ICWW Rising Star of Dez-Burnett took control of the match with a flurry of attacks! Not to be outdone: The_Rock got in on the action by clobbering STERO and Shen! Shaggy2Dope went in to make the save, eliminating The_Rock at the 1 minute 40 second mark!

Former ICWW Heavyweight Champion and Great Arena Hall of Famer Shamrock made his major presence felt with a devastating elimination of __-Standards-__! That was immediately followed by SubMan799 taking out Jericho! It was only another 22 seconds before STEROLIZER was sent packing by Shen_DuHBK, while Shamrock and SubMan799 traded hard-hitting blows!

Dez-Burnett went to work on Shen_DuHBK, soon joined by the heavyweight blows of the Singapore Shamrock! The devastating combination was enough to take The Invasion's Italian Bishop out in a minor upset! Dez-Burnett & Shamrock also did a number on SubMan799, but it was Shaggy2Dope who scooped the elimination while they took care of Shen_DuHBK!

Shaggy2Dope did his best to take the fight straight to Dez-Burnett, but with every man fighting for themselves, the Singapore Shamrock began to exercise his dominance! He took turns clobbering his final opponents, but as he hammered Dez-Burnett -- Shaggy2Dope recovered to steal another upset elimination at the 9 minutes 21 seconds stage! Unfortunately, that left him alone with the power of Shamrock, who showed no mercy! Singapore Shamrock victorious after just over 10 minutes!

Special: New Year's Resolution (2017)

The war is over! A new year arrives pregnant with promise! Per Great Arena tradition, The Union of The Human League give thanks and accept ceremonial combat with The Barons of Lord Mislukking. It is a tradition of tribute, acknowledging the balance of peace. After the war that ravaged the league at the end of 2016, it takes on new meaning for the survivors. This is New Year's Resolution 2017!

11. The Union defeated The Barons of Mislukking in a Survival Sequence! [5-4]
- 1. Famine (Barons) elim. TonyTheTiger (Union)
- 2. Famine (Barons) elim. The_Hurricane (Union)
- 3. AlbertBeefcake (Union) elim. Famine (Barons)
- 4. AlbertBeefcake (Union) elim. Pestilence (Barons)
- 5. Conquest (Barons) elim. AlbertBeefcake (Union)
- 6. DECEPTION (Union) elim. Conquest (Barons)
- 7. DECEPTION (Union) elim. War (Barons)
- 8. Death (Barons) elim. DECEPTION (Union)
- 9. CaTigeReptile (Union) elim. Death (Barons)
Survivor: "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile

Rarely are The Barons of Mislukking in danger of losing the final fight of New Year's Resolution, especially when they win the majority of their individual matches. This year, the story was different. Inspired by CaTigeReptile's victory over Death, The Union's five chosen representatives rallied to push back against The Barons. It took three fighters to put down Famine, but Pestilence went out easy. The Baron of Conquest was too much for a battle fatigued AlbertBeefcake, but The Hitman's aim was true! War's respect for DECEPTION was rewarded with a worthy challenge! Death ended his heroics, but for a second time in the same night -- could not curtail "The Guardian"! The New Year's Resolution of CaTigeReptile would ensure 2017 would be built on a foundation of hope!

10. "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile defeated The Baron of Death in a solid win! [+1]
When The Invasion began their precision strikes on vulnerable enemy targets, "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile was one of the few fighters to stand up and notice. Putting aside her disagreements with other fighters, she reevaluated the threat The Invasion posed, recognizing their plans for hostile takeover. She led the Koalition of willing fighters to prevent more deaths, and in doing so, helped seal the fate of The Invasion! Her message of hope gleamed bright like a new sun rising over The Great Arena in 2017! The Baron of Death could only recoil. The Guardian once again inspiring her fellow fighters to keep their resolve in the face over overwhelming odds!

9. The Baron of War defeated "The Hitman" DECEPTION in a close fought match. [+2]
When CTR put out a call for likeminded fighters to aid in her fight against The Invasion, 'The Hitman" DECEPTION was one of the most powerful allies to respond. His determination to fight cemented his status as a 2-time Undisputed Champion in 2016. That same grit helped The Koalition win the violent war that broke out against The Invasion. For Ares Menschlich, The Hitman became a favoured warrior. He delighted at the chance to test DECEPTION's resolve, excited by his status as one of The Union's bright new stars. War got the better of DECEPTION this time, but only just.

8. The Baron of Conquest defeated AlbertBeefcake in a complete annihilation! [+MAX]
The mission statement bonding AlbertBeefcake and his Alliance fighters was a simple one: Stop the conquest of The Great Arena! They faced considerable adversity throughout the last twelve months, but always remained dedicated to ending The Invasion and their plans for takeover. At Supercard 87: End Of Days the momentum swung in AlbertBeefcake's favour, but against Alexander Conquette there was no margin for error. Drawing strength from every one of Albo's victories, The Baron of Conquest turned success into failure. A demoralizing MAX Damage win in favour of The Barons.

7. The Baron of Pestilence defeated The_Hurricane in a comprehensive win. [+2]
In 2016, The Great Arena was stricken with a plague known as The Invasion. This insidious force grew as their doctrine was spread amongst fighters old and new. The_Hurricane and his Alliance felt the sting of this infection on February 12, when trusted friends became bitter enemies. The Baron of Pestilence knows all about infecting fighters. The_Hurricane may have helped take The Invasion down, but even his powers couldn't resist the viral assault of Praga Conquette.

6. The Baron of Famine defeated "The Predator" TonyTheTiger in convincing fashion. [+1]
During the 2016 Royal Roulette match, "The Predator" TonyTheTiger felt the pangs of famine as he was denied his shot at title glory. For the rest of the year he vowed to take his pound of flesh from the conspiring United, driven by the hunting instinct of a predator! This single minded pursuit offered successes along the way, but also cost him valuable allies, too. Personifying Famine, Bez Busshitsu humbled TonyTheTiger with an unquestionably one-sided fight. A bad start for The Union.

5. United: Mime defeated Banging (c) in a comprehensive victory! [+7] [KFL Championship]
Two of the most shocking moments of the previous year occurred in December: The first was the dethroning of Team Xtreme at Supercard 87:End Of Days, defeated by Shoe & Artanix after 420 days as Duo Division Champions. The second was The United's arrival on the final Monday Night Invasion, leading to the defeat of The Invasion and the event's apparent cancellation! Mime was part of the trio who ended The Invasion's reign of terror - and at New Year's Resolution he completed the humiliation by ending Banging's reign as KFL Champion! The decisive victory now means The United hold all four major championship titles! Will 2017 be the year of The United?

4. Jammer2Omega & Porygonix defeated Mark & Leroy in a solid victory. [+1]
2016 saw the emergence of several exciting new prospects in the Duo Division. Few showed as much promise as Jammer2Omega & Porygonix, their chemistry as a newly formed combination fuelling their rise to the top of the tandem ranks. At Supercard 87: End Of Days they faced one of the other veteran teams finding new life in 2016, besting Mark & Leroy again, individually, to qualify for the year-end Master's Series. Mark & Leroy had the right idea looking to settle the score on January 1st, but suffered a more decisive defeat for their troubles. 2017 could be J2O & Porygonix's year!

3. "Brexiteers" Liam & nif defeated "The Greek Crisis" maxilos & proXade [+1]
Few teams have carried a chip on their shoulder quite like The Greek Crisis. As one of the surprise breakouts of 2016, they developed a special dislike for The British Exit enforcers: Liam & nif! The natural chemistry between the two teams has seen them go back and forth throughout the past year. Their meeting on January 1st, a feather in the shared cap of their Duo Division careers. It seems as if Liam & nif may be pulling away from their constant rivals, giving them a new goal to strive for in 2017, as we say good bye to the apparently thwarted British Exit.

2. "The Invasion" Jason_Voorhees & edge defeated Politics & Menas [+1]
In one of the closest matches during Heats for the 2016 Master's Series; Politics was just barely defeated by Jason_Voorhees. It was the opening match that started a winless streak for Politics, who was out of his element and out on his feet! If it had gone the other way, the roles may have been reversed! Rather than go it alone, Politics took the rematch to the Duo Division, having vowed to go all the way with Menas after their reunion at Tower of Power XVII. A vow that will carry on in 2017 as they bounce back from a shared loss at New Year's Resolution.

1. Sekktor & legoslayer10 defeated "The Fallen" Corrupt hydraslash & Corrupt MINION [+1]
For more than a year, hydraslash & MINION have been wearing a veil of Corruption that colours their every action. They are the last of "Lucifer's Ladder" - now working for LordSkarlet and The Invasion. Former friend and ally Sekktor allowed himself to become distracted from his friend's plight in 2016, but vowed to redouble his efforts at Supercard 87: End Of Days. This New Year's Resolution fuelled he and legoslayer10 in their mission to start the year off right. They secured a strong win, but the quest to redeem hydraslash's soul must continue into 2017.

Special: Devil's Night (2016)

Fighters generally know to be on their toes if they're in The Great Arena on October 30, but even the most savvy warriors couldn't expect the menace that rolled in with the fog on this particular Devil's Night! A new type of evil descended upon the colosseum, testing the fourteen fighters who happened to find themselves surrounded by Wicked Klowns! This is their story...

14. United: Mimik (c) d. Wicked Klown #31 and slayed it like a champion!
On most Devil's Nights there is an opportunistic figure to challenge for a championship. Way back in 2011, Mimik found his first title reign threatened by a Devil's Night challenge from current United teammate: Mime! On this night, the reigning Undisputed Champion had only the weird Wicked Klowns to worry about. A small problem in comparison to the long list of big game hunters lining up to take the title! It can only be speculated that his unexpected title victory at Return to the Dark Carnival kept him safe on this night. As November breaks and Supercard 86 looms, he won't stay safe!

13. "The Hitman" DECEPTION d. Wicked Klown #30 and slayed him with excellent execution!
As the Wicked Klowns' numbers finally started to thin, it was "The Hitman" DECEPTION who set his scope on ending the chaotic carnival! The former Undisputed Champion wasn't about to let a bunch of clowns ruin his New Generation, effortlessly cleaning The Great Arena of one more fool!

12. The Great Genku d. Wicked Klown #29 and slayed him in a hard fought encounter!
The Invasion's enforcer has been on a roll of big victories, but he seemed vulnerable when a Wicked Klown came stalking! Genku's greatness was challenged as he scrambled to fend off the grinning ghoul, seemingly under estimating the danger he faced. Victory was his in the end, but it was a lucky escape for the fight hand-picked by DaemonX to be The Invasion's great championship hope!

11. The_Purple_Bunny d. Wicked Klown #28 and slayed him with maximum prejudice!
During this week's Friday Night Fights he established himself as one of the top contenders, and while in The Great Arena he took the opportunity to remind everyone just how dangerous he can be with an annihilating attack! The Wicked Klown never stood a chance!

10. ElJobber d. Wicked Klown #27 and slayed the heinous harlequin!
Wicked Klown #27 turned out to be one of the most powerful attacking on Devil's Night, but ElJobber was in no mood for jokes. He took his frustrations out with extreme prejudice, destroying the Wicked Klowns' greatest gag with devastating efficiency!

9. "The Chosen One" Damo d. Wicked Klown #26 and slayed him in a hard battle!
The self-proclaimed "Chosen One" was clearly still walking off the devastating MAX Damage defeat he took at Supercard 84: Return of the Dark Carnival, but Damo wasn't about to let a Wicked Klown finish the job! He appeared surprisingly vulnerable to the cackling ghoul, but summoned enough strength to eliminate another of the carnival sideshows!

8. "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile d. Wicked Klown #25 and slayed the threatening trickster!
Ever a "Guardian" to the environment of The Great Arena, CaTigeReptile stood firm against the Wicked Klowns. They may have found a vulnerable punchline in some of the newer names to join the league, but the Wicked Klowns were sorely outmatched by CTR! An effortless win!

7. DArqueBishop d. Wicked Klown #24 and slayed him in a surprising cameo!
DArqueBishop hasn't been seen in competition since he was defeated by Hokey at All-Star Summer Showdown, but he was in The Great Arena when the menace of the Wicked Klowns swept in! The element of surprise was briefly with the League fighters as an unannounced DArqueness turned on the carnival of clowns! Standing with the impromptu coalition - DAB did his bit to end the laughter!

6. Baraka_MK d. Wicked Klown #23 and slayed it in a hard fought encounter!
"The Dude" is no stranger to the trials of Devil's Night, but even he had to be taken aback by this "New Generation" of threatening minion! Wicked Klown #23 wasn't backing down, turning BMK's moment in The Great Arena into a sudden nightmare. He controlled his fear, putting an end to the impromptu clown show.

5. Poasty d. Wicked Klown #22 and slayed the maniacal menace!
The flood of Wicked Klowns into The Great Arena had a haunting effect on the man called Poasty. Still plagued by the memory of that fateful Friday of September 16th, he saw eerie echoes of the madness that overtook Shoe in these grinning fiends. Inspired by the will to survive, he laughed off the Wicked Klown with devastating efficiency. The United were nowhere to be seen.

4. G0LD d. Wicked Klown #21 and slayed it in a hard fought encounter!
The sensation that is G0LD found a tough customer in the Wicked Klown designated #21! This cackling menace appeared stronger than many of the other ghastly oddities attacking The Great Arena, but the Division 2 wonder was never the less able to send him back to the Dark Carnival!

3. Shinnokxz d. Wicked Klown #20 and slayed it in an old fashioned clown whooping!
There was little fear in Shinnokxz as he faced down the menace of the Wicked Klowns. He took the opportunity to build on his increasing might, turning turmoil into profit with a solid victory.

2. xort d. Wicked Klown #19 and slayed it a well earned victory!
Relative newcomer xort was among the most vulnerable to the Wicked Klown's assault, but he faced their attack with steely determination. He was able to find the flaw in the Klown's creepy attack, and exploited it for a hard earned victory.

1. MKMaster d. Wicked Klown #18 and slayed it in a hard fought encounter!
MKMaster found himself thoroughly tested by the strange strength of the Wicked Klown, but was able to eke out a victory, ridding The Great Arena of just one of these strange invading entities!

Special: Dead Or Alive IX

History is written by the winners. This command of document is the privilege earned by those rare few who devise a means to outlive their enemies. Though the seeds of their foes' dissent may stretch far into the past, their existence is defined by the immortal whim of the victor. Should either side fail to pay fitting tribute to the past, they will be doomed to forevermore repeat it... But what if no story is told? No tale of triumph and glory written? What then?...

As the insidious "Mystery CEO" of ICWWDaemonX brought the organization to an end with no record of a closing chapter. The 10th anniversary of ICWW's founding brought the Immortals of a forgotten age into The Great Arena of 2012. At Dead Or Alive V, The Spirit of Vengeance Michael Lucifer returned to destroy his rival once and for all -- or so he thought!

Behind the scenes, forces were drawing plans for a new Invasion! The Ladder of Lucifer would be invoked to destroy another organization, and DaemonX would eventually rise to be leader of The Invasion! Because how can history be written if the war is still going? This is Dead Or Alive IX!

14. United: Hokey defeated Violent`J (c) in a dramatic main event reveal! [+1]
Talk of a hidden power held back by The Invasion has been rumored since an altercation between ShawnMichaels and DaemonX on May 23rd. The mysterious "secret weapon" was supposed to be revealed July 25th, but Hokey's resignation from The Invasion prevented the reveal. With The United and The Invasion at war heading in to Dead Or Alive IX - it was the perfect time to end the mystery. Little did anyone realize - he'd already fought once before that same night! Violent`J stunned as he returned to expose his Invasion allegiance! The Hall of Famer attacked The Invasion turncoat, but Hokey was well equipped to handle the assault! Fighting fresh, Hokey turned the tables on the Duo Division Champion! It was an exciting heavyweight dual that put the Royal Roulette winner in an even higher stratosphere of contention!

Though the victory puts him in tremendous stead - Hokey hit home the absurdity of Genku's paranoid concerns (voiced August 1), noting a history replete with failed title shots at All-Star Summer Showdown. Not only does he have no desire to rush into a Royal Roulette title match - he has a higher priority! He revealed he wants to face the man who fired him from The United earlier in the year without any good reason. He wants DArqueBishop at Supercard 82 - August 21st! A final bombshell dropped on a special event filled with surprises!

13. m0s defeated "The Fallen" LordSkarlet (c) & Jason_Voorhees in a shock decimation! [+4/+5/-9] [KFL Championship]
Everything seemed to be well in hand as reigning KFL Champion LordSkarlet met The Invasion's arranged title challenger of Jason_Voorhees. LS was clearly in control of the match, dominating the challenger when suddenly m0s inserted himself into the title situation! Making his first appearance since quitting the league the week after Ultimate Grand Prix VI; m0s exploded into the match at the peak of his powers! With Jason_Voorhees out of the way - he absolutely decimated The Fallen KFL Champion! m0s absconded with the KFL Championship - leaving a seething LordSkarlet behind.

The reason for m0s' sudden return is unclear, but certain conclusions can be easily drawn. With All-Star Summer Showdown less than a fortnight away, the chance to humiliate an old rival makes a lot of sense. m0s was in charge of the Kombat Fight League at the beginning of 2015, but he soon relinquished his position of power, entering into a war with LordSkarlet that forced him out of the sub-league all together! The win cannot erase past humiliations, but it certainly reverses their roles!

12. United: Shoe defeated DaemonX in a comprehensive win. [+2]
A pact of protection brought The Invasion into conflict with The United. Fearing Royal Roulette winner Hokey would take his title opportunity, The Great Genku agreed to join The Invasion so long as they prevented a change to the All-Star Summer Showdown main event! With DaemonX calling the shots at Dead Or Alive IX and promising a special opponent for Hokey, it only made sense the two faction leaders would go head-to-head. DaemonX had picked up a big win against Hall of Famer Mimik on the August 8 edition of Monday Night Invasion, but against Shoe he found a sturdier foe. Refreshed since his return, Shoe threw down with a heavyweight potency! He was comprehensive in his defeat of DaemonX - but the war is far from over! When their partners are through with the Summer Olympic Games - they will meet again, because it will be DaemonX & Banging versus Shoe & Artanix at Supercard 82: All-Star Summer Showdown!

11. DArqueBishop defeated United: Mimik in a total destruction! [+16]
At Pre-Show 81, DArqueBishop brought back Hall of Famer Mimik to be a powerhouse player in his new arrangement of The United. It was part of a pursuit for payback after Shoe was shockingly put on the incapacitated list by The Service Krew! Shoe soon returned at Royal Roulette -- reforming The United without their 2016 manager! DOAIX would be a platform for retribution as DAB took the opportunity to pay Mimik's loyalty back in kind! It was a gift from DaemonX, whose Invasion made enemies of The United when they recruited a paranoid Genku into the ranks! Mimik will go to All-Star Summer Showdown to execute his own grudge against Loopster, but he'll do so with the fresh scars of a +16 demolition at the hands of DArqueBishop! All part of The Invasion's master plan!

10. "Secret Weapon" SubScorpTile defeated avenger45 (c) in a solid victory! [+2] [Division 2 Championship]
At Pre-Show 82: Heat Up Scramble, Benjamin secured a title opportunity for All-Star Summer Showdown with an impressive +3 win. At that same event, his rival SubScorpTile earned exactly the same caliber of win. Thus; "The Secret Weapon" is given a chance to step in to the title match as champion - challenging still fresh Div. 2 kingpin avenger45! avenger45 may have outlasted the top seeded SST at Tournament 69, but now confronted by the two-time champion he found himself out of his depth! The Secret Weapon unleashed his best, earning a surprising, solid victory to steal back the gold and set-up a brand new title obstacle for Benjamin on August 21st!

9. "Mad Dog" Onryo defeated edge in convincing fashion. [+2]
"Mad Dog" Onryo hasn't had the best of luck in his two previous appearances in the Dead Or Alive lineage, but his fortunes were ready to change at DOAIX! These two last met in duo competition back on July 18th. With Jason_Voorhees gifted a KFL title opportunity later in the night, and Baraka_MK away at the Olympics -- two team fighters made their beef a solo affair! The Mad Dog was more than happy to take a chunk out of The Invasion, ripping into edge for a convincing +2 impact!

8. Jericho defeated UlcaTron in a hard fought match. [+1]
With his "Fallen" partner Corrupt hydraslash busy fighting for his country at the Summer Olympics [Day 4]; UlcaTron was alone to return to The Fallen's fight with The Invasion after weeks of fighting The Alliance! Jericho was chosen by DaemonX to take up the DOA challenge -- a selection that proved very fruitful! UlcaTron buckled during the hard fought solo match. A disappointing loss.

7. Officials announce Poasty will return at All-Star Summer Showdown!
G0LD may be on a four match winning streak, but come All-Star Summer Showdown he will face the biggest challenge of his career! As if to answer the title "Dead Or Alive" like a question: Officials announced that Poasty will make a miraculous return at the Summer Supercard! His career was thrown into turmoil when he suffered a devastating injury in June - just two days after winning the Division 2 Championship at Pre-Show 80! It's sure to be an exciting match between two of the new fighters lighting up the Division 2 ranks!

6. G0LD defeated Jesseman in a comprehensive victory! [+2]
Since his unprecedented title match debut at Royal Roulette, G0LD has set about living up to the hype of his debut with a string of wins. Unselected for the Summer Olympics, he was invited to play a part as a curiosity at Dead Or Alive IX! Invasion fighter Jesseman has been quiet in recent months, but was granted the opportunity to make an impact by DaemonX. Alas, G0LD was simply too strong for the one-time figure of Pestilence. An unworthy challenger to G0LD's streak!

5. MattHardy defeated __-Standards-__ in a hard fought battle! [+1]
Though he wasn't a part of the original ICWW line-up, the wrestling acumen of __-Standards-__ made him a natural addition to the DOA lineage! As a respected satellite member of Damo's Service Krew, he's been a lingering presence since appearing at DOAVIII! He was a well matched opponent for MattHardy, but found himself up against a tougher customer than expected! MattHardy had to dig deep to go toe-to-toe with the legendary __-Standards-__. A big win for The Invasion fighter!

4. "The Invasion" Rhyno & Grayback defeated "The Alliance" Jauger & PaganFreak [+1]
Since the beginning of 2016, The Alliance has been fighting to curb The Invasion of The Great Arena. The launch of Monday Night Invasion in February has made that struggle a weekly affair in the tradition of Civil Action. With such deep ties to ICWW - it was inevitable the war would play out at Dead Or Alive! Former ICWW Tag Team Champions Rhyno & Grayback proved a little better in an even fought match. Jauger & PaganFreak have been dedicated allies to The Alliance, but on this night they were out classed by their enemy.

3. Sekktor & legoslayer10 defeated Piccolo & GohanSon in a comprehensive win! [+1]
Ever since their friend LordSkarlet fell from grace and turned on them, Sekktor & legoslayer10 have been struggling to make sense of their place in the league. Adrift since their stinging loss at Pre-Show 82, the pair could only put aside the distraction of sharing the card with LordSkarlet, and fight to earn a much needed win. Piccolo & GohanSon have been tough customers of late, but the red team were able to put together a confident win.

2. TripleH defeated WilliamRegal in a solid victory. [+3]
It was a fairly elementary match as former IWA Heavyweight Champion TripleH defended himself against the challenge of one-time ICWW Eurasian Champ WilliamRegal. It was clear TripleH was the stronger of the two as he controlled the match. A fitting +3 impact brought the match to a decisive close, but the pair were able to share a sign of respect after the match.

1. "Team Xtreme" Marz & Violent`J (c) defeated "The Alliance" AlbertBeefcake & The_Hurricane in a comprehensive victory! [+1] [Duo Division Championship]
As Day 5 of the 2016 Summer Olympic Games unfolded: "Team Xtreme" Marz & Violent`J weren't defending their 2012 Duo Gold Medal, but rather, their undefeated Duo Division Championship streak and legacy at Dead Or Alive! Remarkably, the legendary pairing only ever competed for the Tag Team Championship once - at Dead Or Alive 4! Recalling those years of experience, they made light work of AlbertBeefcake & The_Hurricane in an exciting opening match! The Alliance were strong, but outclassed by the Hall of Fame champs who now have a record 13 successful title defense to their 290 day title reign!

Special: New Year's Resolution (2016)

The dawning of a new year - the closing of an old one! As per Great Arena tradition, the league pays tribute to the balance of power between The Union of The Human League and The Barons of Lord Mislukking! The annual January 1st special closes the book on the year that was, whilst opening a new chapter for the year ahead. This is New Year's Resolution 2016!

11. Death, War, Conquest, Pestilence & Famine [The Barons of Mislukking] defeated United: Hokey, "The Redeemer" LordSkarlet, The Great Genku, ElJobber & "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile [The Union]
- 1. Famine (Barons) elim. CaTigeReptile (Union) [1-0]
- 2. ElJobber (Union) elim. Famine (Barons) [1-1]
- 3. ElJobber (Union) elim. Pestilence (Barons) [1-2]
- 4. Conquest (Barons) elim. ElJobber (Union) [2-2]
- 5. Conquest (Barons) elim. Genku (Union) [3-2]
- 6. LordSkarlet (Union) elim. Conquest (Barons) [3-3]
- 7. War (Barons) elim. LordSkarlet (Union) [4-3]
- 8. War (Barons) elim. Hokey (Union) [5-3]

10. United: Hokey defeated The Baron of Death in convincing fashion. [+1]
In November, "The Hitman" DECEPTION challenged Hokey to an Iron Man Death Match. It was supposed to be a taste of medicine - overdue payback for Hokey's 2014 machinations, which saw him avoid The King of the Death Match tournament. Instead, Hokey would face Death without fear and condemn DECEPTION to a bitter defeat. He's now the Undisputed Champion and one of the most promising top tier fighters coming out of 2015. A victory over The Baron of Death illustrates exactly that!

9. The Baron of War defeated "The Redeemer" LordSkarlet [+3]
A War broke out in the Kombat Fight League in 2015, tearing it between two rival forces. On one side, resigned KFL booker m0s presumed he could control the sub-league from within by keeping his old friends close. Rising to oppose him was LordSkarlet and a ragtag group of rebels. "The Redeemer" emerged an unlikely General, forcing m0s from the KFL and claiming gold. The Baron of War Ares Menschlich delighted at the prospect of facing such a virile opponent and it showed in his performance. With the KFL now in ruins - a +3 loss probably felt like the worst way to start 2016 for LordSkarlet, but in the language of War, it may be the beginning of something special!

8. The Baron of Conquest completely annihilated The Great Genku! [+MAX]
There were many conquests throughout 2015, but none struck a chord quite like Genku's rise to the Undisputed Championship! A seemingly delusional reign as self-proclaimed "Ultimate Champion" quickly revealed true greatness. At the 2015 All-Star Summer Showdown, he beat Hall of Famer Kron to end a streak of near misses. During the final Supercard of 2015, the conqueror became the conquered - losing the ultimate prize in a three-way battle! The Baron of Conquest ensured the hits kept coming, annihilating Genku with utter contempt! The journey begins again!

7. ElJobber defeated The Baron of Pestilence in convincing fashion. [+2]
No fighter embodied the spread of Pestilence in 2015 quite like ElJobber. After being forced into a premature retirement by Kron at UGP5, ElJobber found a loophole when he returned to the Kombat Fight League -- an independent sub-league of the major competition. Manipulating vulnerable warriors, he corrupted souls to create a personal army dubbed "Lucifer's Ladder"! His manipulations allowed his return to the major league, and has left the KFL burning to nothing! He took care of The Baron of Pestilence -- so what's next for The Great Arena original?

6. Famine defeated "The Guardian" CaTigeReptile [+2]
This time last year, many felt CaTigeReptile was a sure thing to permanently enter the race for the Undisputed Championship. Alas; it was another year of Famine for CTR - unable to maintain her success at the top tier when it mattered most! As if in metaphor for this struggle, Bez Busshitsu rose to the occasion to hold CTR down in a match she was pegged to win! Is this a sign of another hard year ahead for "The Guardian", or will she finally reach the pinnacle she so richly deserves?

5. "Pegaso" Zentile only narrowly defeated Sekktor (c) [+1] [Division 2 Championship]
It proved to be a breakout year for "Pegaso" Zentile in 2015. He claimed his first championship with a surprise win over CaTigeReptile in the KFL! His run was somewhat short lived, but a compelling victory over Sekktor in the final month of the KFL sub-league made him an attractive challenger for a special Division 2 Championship match! Sekktor wasn't going to go down without a fight! Zentile continued his run of impressive performances, but found himself perfectly matched with the more experienced Sekktor. Such a narrow win practically demands a rematch in 2016!

4. "The Corrupt Generation" Baraka_MK & Onryo defeated "Lucifer's Ladder" Corrupt UlcaTron & Corrupt hydraslash [+1]
All four fighters may be Corrupt remnants of ElJobber's takeover of the Kombat Fight League, but Baraka_MK & Onryo broke their programming back in November, thanks to a confrontation with former running buddy DECEPTION! They were one of the power teams of 2015 and show no signs of slowing down, even if it wasn't a clean sweep against the under-the-radar combo of UlcaTron & hydraslash. With the KFL dissolving, what becomes of "Lucifer's Ladder" and its Corrupt fighters remains a pressing question for 2016!

3. Porygonix & Jammer2Omega defeated Jerrod & Corrupt MINION [+2]
They only just came together as a team in December, but the combination of Porygonix & Jammer2Omega are already showing exciting signs heading into the new year! Their chemistry has many wondering why their acquaintance didn't produce a team sooner! Jerrod & MINION had a big 2015, capitalizing on their past as one of the original duos formed in 2011 to score some big wins. MINION's corrupt soul raises some questions about the stability of their combination, but both teams look set for bigger and better battles in the coming months!

2. "The Greek Crisis" maxilos & proXade defeated deadpool & MercWithMouth [+1]
deadpool & MercWithMouth have been earmarked for bigger things for quite some time, but "The Greek Crisis" showed no regard for their opponents' supposed potential. maxilos & proXade made a moderate impact on the 2015 Pre-Show circuit as a team with a chip on their shoulders. If they can keep earning wins like this one, their bite may start to match up with their bark!

1. United: Artanix defeated Knickxasawrrrr in convincing fashion. [+1]
After a hard fought Semi Final during the 2015 Master's Series, it wasn't surprising to see Knickxasawrrrr given an opportunity to even the score with Artanix. Much more surprising was Artanix' ability to put greater distance between he and his hopeful opponent! Artanix lost the Master's Series title to Knickxasawrrrr's brother m0s. With both competitors heavily embroiled in the Duo Division contender's scene, it wouldn't be surprising to see this rivalry develop in 2016!

KFL Special: Fatal 8+ EX Tournament

Fighting out of the Fatal 8, LordSkarlet redeems himself with the ultimate victory! He effortlessly dealt with upstart Fatal 8 opponent mwgrant0, moving confidently onto the challenge of name-to-watch 4avenger5! The Fatal 8 continued to throw up challenges - DeathScepter a potent threat vanquished with convincing efficiency in the Semi Final!

Meanwhile, CaTigeReptile & m0s3pH emerged through the random draw as two heavyweight former champions and instant favourites to win! They crushed their first round opponents - m0s3pH making the most devastating statement with a +19 result on Jironobou! They cut through the second round with relative ease. In Round 3, CTR grappled with old KFL nemesis "The Predator" TonyTheTiger, while m0s ended Asesino's rise. Meeting inevitably in the Semi Final - the two destined kombatants exploded! Both fighters were obliterated by the collision of powers! The devastating impact left m0s3pH suffering MAX damage, but CaTigeReptile could not recover in time for the finals.

Kombat Fight League: Komplete Edition Special

The first ever Kombat Fight League Special produced significant twists as every available KFL competitor was arranged for Komplete Edition! Even "The World Warrior" TonyTheTiger, who is currently nearing the end of his Championship World Tour, was able to participate, even if it meant The_Purple_Bunny finding himself in China to accomodate his KFL debut. TPB ultimately wouldn't need a lot of encouragement, the bout giving him his first real shot at a reprisal against the man who took the Undisputed Championship from him, back at Pre-Show 20!

The alliance between the KFL and The Union of The Human League was consolidated in the unusual pairing of CCShadow and ElJobber -- a fighting odd couple, if there ever was one! The biggest surprise of the event, however, had to be the return of Crow to ranked competition! The storied three-time Tournament winner shocked everyone when, in November of 2011, he went Turncoat, walking away from The Great Arena after suffering another defeat at the hands of the Barons of Mislukking (Supercard 16: War Games)! Still regarded as one of the greatest fighters in history; Crow's arrival in KFL seemed to spell a much needed threat to the potential dominance of The Great Genku! Their history includes a main event rebuttal during Crow's record-setting second reign as Undisputed Champion, when he punished Genku in a sixth successful defense at All-Star Summer Showdown during a twenty-five match win streak! History is not always doomed to repeat itself, however.

Continuing the theme of the Komplete, the KFL hosted its first three-way and two-on-two contests.

The Duo bout gave "Mr. Daruma" m0s & knickxasawrrrr their first opportunity to step out as a pairing! The new union came about at Pre-Show 21: Tower Fallout, when knickxasawrrrr continued his undefeated streak into the universal ranks with a win over m0s' previous partner, Nemesis316! Unfortunately, the brothers started poorly, succumbing to a staggering +30 duo annihilation -- a rarity in tandem competition! The result throws a question mark over the change for m0s, who has been chasing the Duo Division Championships, but also reveals intriguing potential for the pairing of "The Iron Menace" ElJobber with CCShadow, who usually teams with Scott-Howell. Howell enjoyed a successful solo stint away from his partner, picking up a comprehensive win in one of the three-ways. Zmoke had success in the other match, very narrowly escaping the keen advance of redman, who is yet to secure any wins in his brief, six match career, despite several close calls.

CaTigeReptile reversed SubMan799's upstart fortunes, turning the tables on the surprise Week 4 winner with a +2 victory. TonyTheTiger was the other member of the +2 club, reprising his role as victor over The_Purple_Bunny -- who also seems to have had his potential to soar, clipped. No such ailments threatened jack4813, however, who enjoyed a convincing win over Jironobou to continue their polarized trajectories. Killswitch and Ninja_Mime also enjoyed wins.

Three months of fight rust clearly got the better of Crow, whose presence has taken a massive hit since he last competed regularly. The Great Genku would show no signs of intimidation, a much better equipped competitor than days past -- unimpressed by a comparatively timid Crow! It was a respectable showing from both, to be sure, but in the end, Genku returned to the top of the ladder with a solid win.

KFL Komplete Edition - Special Event Results:
1. The Great Genku d. Crow in a solid result!
2. CCShadow & ElJobber d. "Mr. Daruma" m0s & knickxasawrrrr in a shock +30 annihilation!
3. "The World Warrior" TonyTheTiger d. The_Purple_Bunny in a convincing +2 non-title match.
4. Ninja_Mime d. Ghostdragon in a solid result.
5. CaTigeReptile d. SubMan799 in a solid +2 impact.
6. Scott-Howell d. Jerrod & Nephrite in a convincing win!
7. jack4813 d. Jironobou in convincing fashion.
8. Zmoke d. redman & Methuselah6463 in a close fought three-way!
9. Killswitch d. dibula in a close fought match!

The special event opportunity extended little in the way of competitor leads, with the glut still closely stacked this early in the season. Genku returned to the top of the table on impact points, but will be looking over his shoulder as knickxasawrrrr looks to return to the winners list. Scott-Howell joins the top five, leapfrogging four other fighters with a 3-2 record: SubMan799, Methuselah6463, Killswitch and Ninja_Mime!

Kombat Fight League Top Five:
#1 (+3) (3-1-0) The Great Genku [+12]
#2 (-1) (3-1-0) knickxasawrrrr [+5]
#3 (+2) (3-1-0) Zmoke [+3]
#3 (+1) (3-1-0) jack4813 [+3]
#5 (new) (3-2-0) Scott-Howell [+4]

The Kombat Fight League stages Friday Night Fights every week!
March 2 will see matchmaking take a backseat to challenges and random draw! The_Purple_Bunny has already issued a challenge to "Mr. Daruma" m0s, a grudge rematch of their previous Week 4 encounter. [Full Kombat Fight League Rankings]

Special Event: Feast or Famine!

October 9, 2011 -- August 7th was the day everything changed for The Great Arena!
Pre-Show 11: Truth or Consequences saw the return of Kron from the realm beyond. He brought with him revelations of an occult conspiracy to manipulate the competitive drive in every fighter, a divide and distract strategy perpetrated by Ares Menschlich on behalf of Lord Mislukking. Designed to divert the powers of the best fighters into a civil war, the manipulation resulted in a bifurcation of the League at Supercard 6: Team Cr0w vs Team Kron, as well as the subsequent exile of fighters and War for the Kr0wn -- all fit distractions while the Four Barons disappeared into the background!

Confronted, the Baron of War professed an innocence by virtue of exposing what was already there. He accused the fighting ranks of ultimately being out for themselves alone, with no true sense of honor or allegiance. He scoffed any suggestion that fighters would serve a higher ideal at their own expense. Kron did his best to dispel these claims by gathering his "chosen" allies, but defeat on the Night of Barons opened the doors to exactly what Ares Menschlich proclaimed. With hope fleeting, Kron unleashed the Spirit of Vengeance, but even as War tasted rare defeat, his claims were coming true.

Now, with the opportunity for an easy shot at the Undisputed Championship on the line, Ares Menschlich attempts to offer definitive proof. A feast or famine lottery promises rapidfire contention to any fighter willing to submit themselves to the truth of their desparation -- while the rest of the entrants suffer the risk of infection at the hands of Baroness of Pestilence, Praga Conquette!

7. Mimik d. Ratt (c) in a shocking +27 decimation of the Champion!
He has a reputation for being an "Iron Man" ready to answer any challenge, but even Ratt had to be a little bit unhappy about defending his title just one week after winning it, under these very unusual circumstances. For Mimik, it would be the opportunity that has eluded him for so long. A top contender in months passed, obstacles frequently rose to keep Mimik away from the top spot, but with his performance at Night of the Barons and impressive victory in the sixteen-person contender battle royal, there would be no denying or questioning the legitimacy of his rise to the Undisputed Championship! Not even Ares Menschlich could take anything away from him -- a pre-established contender who benefitted in no special way from the Feast or Famine lottery!

The "Iron Man" looked woeful in his first defense of the Championship -- a stark contrast to the confident warrior who took down "The Unstoppable" Cr0w at Supercard 13! Totally unable to mount a defense, Ratt walked in to another staggering Mimik onslaught, resulting in a baffling +27 impact, a rampage the likes of which has never been seen! Mimik writes a new chapter in the record books, but who will he face come Supercard 14, October 23rd? Odds certainly seem to be in the favour of ElJobber, but with Ratt and Cr0w eager to become the first three-time champions, its anyones guess!

6. Mimik d. The_Purple_Bunny in a punishing +24 decimation!
Given that he was the only member of the "chosen" to win his battle with a Baron at Supercard 12 (against Pestilence), it made poignant sense that Mimik would skip confrontations with Conquette to go straight to the lottery winner, as the #1 contender! His lucky opponent -- The_Purple_Bunny, challenger who suffered a punishing defeat in his first contention of the Undisputed Championship, at Night of the Barons! TPB supplemented his loss by capturing the Duo Division Championships at Supercard 13, but clearly would take any opportunity to capture the biggest prize in the league.

Unfortunately for The_Purple_Bunny, it would be a disturbing case of deja vu as Mimik turned up the heat with a power nobody expected! A noted sufferer of the P-Virus infection courtesy of his many battles with Pestilence, Mimik defied the odds, punishing TPB for his aspirations, once again, with a shocking +24 impact! For purists, the victory no doubt defended the sanctity of the Undisputed Championship, to be contested by a well earned #1 contender, rather than a lottery winner.

5. Cr0w d. Praga Conquette
At the end of a record breaking twenty-five match win streak as Undisputed Champion, it was little wonder that Cr0w would try his luck at a fasttrack shot at a rematch! Having enjoyed a reign of seven successful defenses that lasted over five months, the former champion will have to wait before he gets his return shot, unlucky a second time as he misses out on the Feast or Famine freebie.

Having once promised to eradicate Famine from The Great Arena, Cr0w is the heavy hitting fighter the "chosen" have been waiting for, but is he selfless enough to do it? Ares Menschlich would probably perceive his desparation to reclaim the title as confirmation of the contrary. Fortunately for Cr0w, the Baron of War was the least of his worries, battling below his weight in a continuation of the poor performance that cost him the title at Supercard 13! Menschlich would've made him pay, but with a modest performance, Cr0w slinks past Praga Conquette, probably keen to resume the winning.

4. ElJobber d. Praga Conquette in convincing fashion! [+2 impact]
Throughout the entire debate of combat ethics, ElJobber has made no bones about his intentons to pursue the Undisputed Championship with ruthless dedication. The victim of public opinion amidst speculation and accusation about his involvement in another issue regarding fighter manipulation, ElJobber has become an agent for the Baron of War, battling Kron across two Supercards, whilst seeking to inflict MAX Damage after taking a cold edge from his performance at Tower of Power II.

Already one of the top contenders in the unofficial rankings, ElJobber had little to lose by entering the Feast or Famine lottery. Arriving with all his powers at the ready, a convincing victory awaited, even if the impact were a more modest +2 to Genku's potent +3. ElJobber has been chasing the title since the beginning, but it remains a particularly elusive goal for the 2011 Battle Royale winner. Far more elusive than victory against the Baroness of Pestilence!

3. Genku d. Praga Conquette in convincing fashion! [+3 impact]
Remaining one of the most dedicated of the "chosen," Genku has gone to great lengths to wage a personal vendetta against the Four Barons. After suffering a bitter defeat against Sinvida Von Grimm (Death) at Night of the Barons, he took the opportunity to challenge m Bez Busshitsu (Famine) (at Supercard 13), a target perceived as softer than the higher ranked fiends. Genku's pursuit of the Undisputed Championship is well noted and no doubt provided great lure for the Feast or Famine lottery, but it was a win-win for a combatant keen to take a pound of flesh from the Barons!

Second in rank but looking bottom in strength, Praga Conquette struggled to compete with the wile assault of Genku! In rare form, Genku probably wished he could've exhibited such strength in his battles with Death and Famine. There would be no regrets for Genku at the Feast or Famine, however, as he struck with sufficient force to take a rare +3 impact from the crafty Baroness of Pestilence!

2. Praga Conquette d. m0s
The parade of unfortunates continued, "Mr. Daruma" m0s emerging as the next victim of the Feast or Famine lottery! Already reported to be suffering from a significant infection with the P-Virus, it was a considerable risk for even the odds-defying two-time Daruma 7 champion -- a fact Ares Menschlich probably took as great confirmation of his beliefs. Relying on a contingency of a good fight, m0s had every chance to break even, but the Baroness of Pestilence put up as good as she got, capitalizing on the existing infection to take the victory.

1. Praga Conquette d. Jax in a solid +2 victory.
Having become a very active participant in battles in and out of the arena, it must have come as a small shock that Jax would try his luck in the Feast or Famine lottery. Unfortunately for him, the risk would go beyond a simple drubbing at the hands of the #1 contender, instead, an opening battle with the Baroness of Pestilence! For fighters in the lower ranks, the threat of the P-Virus is no trivial matter, but those were the risks and Jax knew it!

Not surprisingly, it was a confident performance to open the account for Praga Conquette. The Baroness of Pestilence was well in control, unphased by the modest assault of a fighter who has made lengths to rise above his station, but was still no match for one of the Four Barons. A +2 impact was to be a lucky result from a beating that could've been much more punishing for an unlucky lottery entrant.

Special Event: The Rapture & The Madness!

On May 20, the world said goodbye to wrestling great "Macho Man" Randy Savage and hello to life after The Rapture! In response to these tumultuous events, we announce an special unscheduled tribute event! Macho May 29 will be The Rapture and The Madness in the first ever special event!

Everyone with a touch of madness will gather in The Great Arena for a series of exciting, special one-time matches! Cr0w defends the Undisputed Championship in a controversial macho battle with the biggest bad guy in the ranks; mega powers collide as good friends Kron and Ratt face-off in a rare one-on-one encounter; ElJobber and Toryn will continue their feud and attempt to capture the undercard magic of Steamboat/Savage; and many more as fighters pay tribute and fight for a shot at glory!

PLUS! I want everybody to freak out, freak out! In a special trio of opening matches, the Barons of Lord Mislukking return to do battle with the fighting faithful of The Great Arena! You'll be agape as ZachAngel, rxvt and Politics attempt to fight back a plague of War, Pestilence, and Famine!

For one night only it's a tower of power, too sweet to be sour, insane list of amazing feuds and fantastic battles! A special event like no other, The Rapture and The Madness!

12. Cr0w (c) d. Mimik & Shoe in a stunning three-way blockbuster defense of the Undisputed Championship!
A controversial, but elementary defense of the Undisputed Championship turned into a legitimate struggle for Cr0w when he found himself faced with two opponents in this very unusual special match-up!

It was only two weeks ago that Shoe seemingly cut short the rising challenge of Mimik in an extra-arena attack. The exploitative assault earned Shoe the ire of the competitive ranks and the audience alike! Keen to pay tribute at this Macho May special, Mimik has fought his way back to life, to be inserted into the unique situation of a three-way Championship match, with as much potential to be a public hanging as a changing of the guard!

The momentum of his return was certainly with Mimik! He took the fight to both opponents, forcing Cr0w to rise to a challenge he almost certainly wasn't prepared for! On the back foot, the Champion set his sights on the weak link, unleashing a domination on Shoe that resulted in a stunning +18 impact! The assault was enough to bring Cr0w back into the fight, making it an even one-on-one clash between old allies! Rallying his might, Cr0w was able to repel a Mimik who showed converse signs of fatigue in the later stages of the battle.

The impressive win made this much less an exhibition brawl, more a true endorsement of Cr0w's return to the Championship! A worthy second defense for the Champ, he now faces the prospect of rewriting history as the first man to successfully defend the title for a third consecutive time! He won't have to contend with Shoe anytime soon -- Public Enemy #1 likely to face-off against Mimik in the near future, given that the beatdown he suffered came primarily from Cr0w. Mimik vs Shoe is sure to be one of the blockbuster main events coming June 19 at Supercard 8!

11. Kron d. Ratt in a solid victory.
A collision of mega powers had The Great Arena in a flutter as these two awesome figures paid tribute to their Macho/Maniac counterparts! Currently billed as #1 contender, all eyes were particularly on Ratt, with this match makign for a preview of any eventuating clash between he and reigning Champion, Cr0w!

Kron, may have exited the contender stakes for the time being, but was not about to go easy on Ratt despite being a moral ally and good friend! In a true explosion of powers, Kron came close to full force, attacking with the intensity he has sometimes lacked in his recent meetings with arch-rival, Cr0w. "The Iron Man" Ratt, on the other hand, reprised the fading spark he seemed to show at Supercard 7, where he competed to a disappointing result in his first encounter with Kron, under three-way conditions.

Beloved as the "heart" of The Great Arena, it may have been a touch of reluctance that coloured Ratt's performance in both battles with pal, Kron. Some may speculate that it's the heavy workload that has finally taken its toll on Ratt, however. Despite the "explosion" theme of their battle and the intensity of the attack, both fighters showed great regard for each other in the end, delivering a modest conclusion to a fight that could've been far more brutal! Despite the win, Kron raised Ratt's hand in triumph, endorsing his candidacy as the next challenger to the Undisputed Championship! An awesome sight for all in attendance!

10. ElJobber d. Toryn in a +4 decimation.
At Supercard 4, ElJobber faced daunting odds against a man he had never beaten, and after losing that shot at Championship glory on the grandest stage of them all, you could've forgiven him for giving up. Like a real Macho Man, however, ElJobber bounced back at Supercard 6 to see the better end of a +7 decimation against Toryn!

Looking to defend his 2-1 history and improve upon a string of defeats, Toryn hoped to summon a little machismo of his own! The chemistry between these two rivals could not be denied as they attempted to recreate the exhibition of some of the greatest fights ever seen. The contest would not be close enough to be quite as electric as the mythic likes of Savage/Steamboat, but never the less reminded that there is still great depth to the upper echelons of the fighting ranks! ElJobber emerged victorious with a noteworthy +4 impact, staking his claim to any future battles for the Undisputed Championship!

9. Genku d. Hokey in a decimation.
Since returning to life, Genku has shown he only has regard for one thing in The Great Arena -- himself! In a never-before seen rematch of the Tournament 1 Semi Final, Genku looked to pick up a little extra credit against fan-favourite fellow contender, Hokey!

Hokey has found himself a dominant staple of the duo division alongside Ninja_Mime, but would be alone with his fortunes against the menace of Genku. He must've wished his partner were there, though, as Genku commenced a whooping! The former golden boy of The Great Arena had little luck as Genku unleashed a decimation, his fortunes extending only so far as his ability to endure a tolerable +2 impact! Hokey lives to fight another day, while Genku lives only for himself and his pursuit of the Undisputed Championship.

8. DECEPTION & Onryo d. Liam & nif.
With an undefeated streak of two, nif welcomed Liam in to the fighting ranks! Friends, allies, partners, the pair couldn't have picked a more fine time to debut in the duo division, facing steep odds against rising tandem DECEPTION & Onryo under the mutual appreciation of the Macho Man!

A couple of Macho Men despite their limited credentials, Liam & nif managed to pose a fair challenge to the as-yet undefeated duo of DECEPTION & Onryo. Despite having a much less personal connection to build upon, D&O had the fundamentals to overwhelm their less seasoned opponents, relying on a foundation of hard work to guarantee victory. Liam & nif may have been underwhelming in their first appearance, but will surely find the time to reappear in the near future to improve their stock!

7. Ken d. STEROLIZER in a comprehensive +3 impact.
Ken has seen some bad luck in recent times, notably going down as the first shock elimination from Tournament 5 -- the very event where STEROLIZER finally broke the mould with unprecedented back-to-back victories! This reversal of fortunes made what was once a joke of a feud into a very interesting prospect as they reprised their role as enemies for this special Macho tribute!

Known for his misproportunate ego, the Macho STEROLIZER could have invited a rapture upon The Great Arena with another victory. Fortunately, Ken was not about to allow that to happen, despite looking underdone by his once over achieving standards. Faced with an old enemy, STERO produced a vintage performance, handing Ken the keys to victory before he even needed to reach down to find the power to secure a +3 impact in this comprehensive victory.

6. DaMo d. DigbyRigby in a comprehensive result.
Funky like a monkey and appreciative of the Macho Man's heyday, these two unique competitors made for an intriguing match-up. Intent on increasing his powers in the lead-up to the special event, DigbyRigby had undergone a training-borne transformation, but against a DaMo who is sitting on the verge of the unofficial top ten, could it be enough?

The answer was, surprisingly enough -- no. In a truly intriguing match-up, the intensity of DigbyRigby's work-out regime may have let him down, resulting in a less than impressive showing. The comprehensive victory lends DaMo a little extra push moving forward, while duo division partner, DeathScepter, sits ten on the unofficial contender rankings!

5. SmokeRulz d. SubMan799 & NightHawk in a narrow victory!
Having emerged as one of the heroes of Tournament 5 in a Great Arena coming-of-age, SubMan799 would enter the unique situation of a three-way battle with favourite status and a lot to fight for! Hovering near death, he was the battered veteran to relative newcomers, SmokeRulz and NightHawk!

In an evenly matched triple threat line-up, it was indeed SubMan799 who looked to be the strongest in the early goings. The unique make-up of the three-way fight, however, conspired to turn the tables as SmokeRulz took the fight to his opponents, taking out NightHawk before rising to the challenge of SubMan799! It was down to the wire in a blockbuster finish as SmokeRulz made it a 50/50 spread in his win/loss records, impressive in an upset victory!

4. Pink_Ranger & Ghostdragon d. Porygonix & xtactics.
After her loss at Supercard 7, Pink_Ranger has eyes for a grudge bout against CaTigeReptile, but as part of the special 'one night only' format, she reunites with Ghostdragon for a chance to improve upon an underwhelming duo record!

Porygonix & xtactics enter the bout favourites, despite having fared no better in their brief time amongst the duo division. Pink_Ranger & Ghostdragon finally found the chemistry lacking in their previous two outings, delivering a defeat to the favoured Team Kron combo. Porygonix & xtactics showed some of the inexperience that is often forgotten due to their individual overachieving, but remained competitive. It's a bittersweet conclusion for a team apparently destined for separation, but what the future might hold for the overdue winners remains to be seen!

3. Ares Menschlich d. ZachAngel in a +14 decimation!
The spiritual leader of the fighting faithful, ZachAngel had by far the tallest order of the trio. Ares Menschlich is both an instrumental figure in the foundation of the organized combat league and the aptly nicknamed Baron of War! Rarely challenged by even the most powerful fighters in The Great Arena, it was a daunting prospect for the relatively unseasoned ZachAngel! He was left agape at the terrifying assault presented to him, by far the most devastating display of any of the Rapture-insipred undercard, despite a result that conclude with only a +14 impact! War complete the hat-trick for the Barons, but no Rapture eventuated.

2. Praga Conquette d. rxvt in a +13 decimation!
The fighting faithful went 2-0 in their second attempt to fend off the Rapture in battle with Lord Mislukking's Four Horsemen! rxvt had the unenviable task of battling a traditionally unregarded combatant in Praga Conquette. The Baroness of Pestilence has struggled to measure up against the upper echelon of competitors in The Great Arena, but with a knack for bringing out the worst in her opponents, she flourished against the scaled down strength of rxvt. Though the battle proved just as devastating for rxvt, Conquette was only able to execute a +13 impact from her total decimation! A chilling reminder that all of Mislukking's fighting Barons are a threat to anyone ill prepared!

1. Bez Busshitsu d. Politics in a +16 annihilation!
The first Rapture-inspired undercard bout proved to be the most brutal! Bez Busshitsu, Baron of Famine, has shown remarkable staying power in his frequent battles in and out of The Great Arena, establishing a power base far greater than anyone could have expected. Politics was at the absolute mercy of Famine, impotent in the face of an elemental threat! A +16 impact left Politics worse for wear, but the scale of this combative annihilation had the potential to be far greater! A small blessing for the fighting faithful in the first of three exhibition bouts!

The standard schedule resumes as Macho May gives way to a jam packed month of super-fights! Next week the cards will be finalised as we count down to June 12's Pre-Show 8: Queen's Court Rules ahead of the blockbuster June 19 showcase, Supercard 8! All the fall-out of Supercard 7 and more will unfold as two of the biggest cards in histroy unfold!
