Genku has been vocal about his issues with league officials since losing in April at UGP7, but his rage reached a new peak last week, when he challenged Mick to a fight at Dead Or Alive X!
Ten days out from the August 10th event: Mick has addressed Genku's aggressions, doing his best to downplay the distraction from the ICWW 15th Anniversary. He noted that, as Genku so helpfully exposed during his Birthday Bash on Friday Night Fights, he is Chairman of the league, and it would not really be appropriate for him to step back into the arena for a frivolous challenge.
The Chairman also noted that Genku has a bit of a history of biting off more than he can chew, and the last two weeks have illustrated that perfectly. He said it was unfortunate Genku missed out in the random draw for Royal Roulette 2017, but he's confident Genku will receive a quality opponent to fight at Dead Or Alive X.
Genku qualified for guaranteed entry into Royal Roulette at Pre-Show 96: Heat Up Scramble, but lost his place when a stunt went wrong during the July 21st edition of Friday Night Fights. He tried to cut off the winner's announcement on July 28th, but suffered a resounding defeat at the hands of Poasty, who was inspired to cash-in his challenge for the Undisputed Championship at the upcoming All-Star Summer Showdown!
