The Division 2 Championship
It was a perfect storm of circumstance and coincidence that created conditions ripe for the creation of the Division 2 Championship. Chief among these factors was the maturation of a growing roster of over 200 competitors, and the widening divide between the top and bottom ranks. In the spirit of The Next Phase: Tournament 34 collected 64 up-and-comers for the purpose of generating the ultimate stepping stone for fighters outside the top contender ranks.

While there would be no strict stipulations enforced upon the Division 2 ranks; Tournament 34 only featured fighters who were measured with a Gamerscore below 5000, and were not members of the Kombat Fight League. To this end, the Division 2 Championship also acts as both a counterpart to the exclusively contested KFL Championship, and also a response to its domination by two-man Duos during this period. The semi-official limit of Division 2 allows the title to exist without impeding on the claims of the individual holder of the primary Undisputed Championship.

Artanix became the first Division 2 Champion when he followed through on top seed status -- defeating DeathScepter in the Tournament 34 final and inaugural championship match.

On April 27, 2014, Mime became the first champion to win the title in a 3-way fight. He ended Knickxasawrrrr's record setting 140 day reign, also defeating NovaStarr. The win also made Mime the first Grand Slam Champion, giving him reigns with the four major titles: Undisputed, Duo Division, KFL & Division 2. The_Purple_Bunny became the second "Grand Slam" title winner and the first fighter over 5k to hold the title. He vacated it immediately after winning on May 4, 2014. The_Purple_Bunny again made history when he won all four major championships, losing the Division 2 Championship on November 23, 2014 in the first-ever Championship Battle Royal. He was defeated by Knickxasawrrrr in the final elimination of the 20-fighter bout.

- The_Purple_Bunny defeated Mime & Knickxasawrrrr in a 3-way contest to claim the title and become the second "Grand Slam" title holder. With his goal achieved, he immediately vacated the title. Tournament 41 invited 64 Div.2 competitors to compete for the title starting May 5, 2014. NovaStarr defeated Sekktor in the final.
