Friday Night Fights (August 18, 2017)

The heat was still on for the final Friday Night Fights before Sunday's massive All-Star Summer Showdown! It was the last chance for DArqueBishop to derail the fiendish plans of The Invasion and Evil AlbertBeefcake: who earned a KFL Championship shot at Pre-Show 97!

This week DArqueBishop teamed with Jammer2Omega & Porygonix to take on their rivals, and Evil AlbertBeefcake's partners - Jason_Voorhees & edge. The alliance of mutual opposition proved to be too spontaneous to fully connect. The Invasion trio were simpatico, perhaps thanks to Jason's past fighting alongside Albert in the final days of ICWW. A frustrating loss for DAB that puts Evil AlbertBeefcake on a promising trajectory for his KFL title shot against United: Mime on Sunday!

G0LD missed out on a Division 2 Championship match with his loss to "Wild Pegasus" Zentile at Pre-Show 97, but he bounced back strong to answer the challenge of J-Spit! Officials confirmed that G0LD will still have a place on the All-Star Summer Showdown card, competing in a 20-fighter Summer Elimination Battle Royal!

The stakes were all together more immediate and personal for the recent team-up of Killswitch & jack4813, who surpassed Piccolo & GohanSon in a well earned victory! Killswitch & jack4813 came together against rxvt & deadly late last month, earning repeat wins on the August 4 and Pre-Show 97 cards. Piccolo & GohanSon put a dent on their record last week.

rxvt & deadly found their footing after losing the series with Killswitch & jack4813. They took on "The Invasion" WilliamRegal & TripleH, picking up a stabilizing confident win.

Supercard 97: All-Star Summer Showdown is the Supercard of the Summer - and the milestone mega show takes place this Sunday! "Champion of Champions" Poasty takes on "The Chosen One" Damo in a highly anticipated main event for the Undisputed Championship!
