Friday Night Fights (August 4, 2017)

The action was ratcheted up for the first Friday Night Fights of August, on the road to next week's Dead Or Alive X special, and the Supercard of the Summer: All-Star Summer Showdown!

After a Royal Roulette tinged three-way battle last week: King Ken was back in the arena looking to settle the score with Benjamin. The besieged "King of the World" was none too pleased about being bundled out during their mutual clash with TonyTheTiger. Ken came to fight, but Benjamin doubled down to secure a convincing win against the fighting King.

DArqueBishop made a surprise appearance in The Great Arena looking to bolster the effort against his former teammates-turned rivals in The Invasion. He found himself face-to-face with the team's newest recruit: Evil AlbertBeefcake! Albert was once one of The Alliance's best fighters against The Invasion, but he secured a strong victory for them - this week.

In an abruptly formed main event: Genku took great pleasure returning to spread misery after two weeks of disappointment -- in this case targetting: Statix & The_Hurricane!

The losing duo had hoped to get a face-to-face with their former friend, but the newly re-christened "Evil" AlbertBeefcake disappeared into the night before his friends could investigate his sudden change of character. Instead, he was replaced with Invasion leaders Genku, and the usually elusive DaemonX! The Invasion devastatingly outclassed their opponents with a dominant duo performance!

Genku used the main event win as a platform to re-iterate his recent challenge to Mick! The League Chairman had brushed off the challenge earlier in the week, but Genku remained focused on a one-on-one fight! He made it abundantly clear that he'll be in the arena at DOAX. If Mick isn't there to fight him it will be an admission that he's a failure as a Chairman, failure as a fighter - and a coward!

Dead Or Alive X takes place at the special time of Thursday, August 10th in celebration of the 15th Anniversary of ICWW! The event will also feature the heavily promoted return of celebrated Hall of Famer Rockey316, who will challenge United: Mime for the KFL Championship! Mick reigned as one of the greatest champions in ICWW history, but will he return to the arena to answer Genku's challenge? The only way to find out is to be here next week for all the results!
