Friday Night Fights (May 12, 2017)

Last week's Duo Division Championship main event went down as an instant classic, but according to Genku it was just another booking misfire. Little wonder he found himself caught between members of The Pacific Connection and The Invasion in this week's Friday Night Fights!

Genku has an outstanding debt against The Pacific Connection for the 2-on-1 ambush he suffered on the April 21st edition of FNF. Rather than collect himself, he let Duo Champion Scott-Howell do the heavy lifting to take Banging out in a hard fought elimination. With the odds evened, he could focus his full attention on The Invasion enforcer! Genku's had plenty negative to say about The Invasion even after evidence proved they voted him their prospective champ. He took pleasure in dominating a tiring Scott-Howell, basking in the +5 "failure" of the Duo Division champion!

Earlier in the night: AlbertBeefcake had his own issues with The Invasion when he came to call out DaemonX! He was instead attacked by the team of WilliamRegal & TripleH! The Beefer had no problem turning the tables on his old nemesis Regal, and his new partner. With The Invasion duo thwarted, he made an official challenge for DaemonX to face him at Supercard 93: The Chosen.

Shinnokxz also put his best foot forward with a solid victory against G0LD! He moves to the front of the Division 2 contender's line, edging ahead of "Mad Dog" Onryo, who followed up last week's challenge with another solid grudge win against AlexanderLuthorJr. Former champ Benjamin put the string on nightbreed_16, hurting his chances to rise. SubScorpTile also earned a close fought duo win against ]{0MBAT. Benjamin and SST have been dabbling consistently in the Duo Division, which could take them out of the Div.2 stakes.

"Bad Bad" Leroy and VR-FIST picked up last minute wins on their road to a potential Division 2 Championship title shot. They'll compete tomorrow in the annual Fighter For Europe tournament, facing a field of sixteen European combatants for the ultimate honor of being Europe's best!
