ICWW: Civil Action (10/29/02)

ICWW: CIVIL ACTION                      OCTOBER 29, 2002

Josh Heartbrand began proceedings as ICWW: Civil Action went on the air. He declared that ICWW was nothing more than a haven for the lame and weak to look good. He then announced that he was going to prove that by desecrating every superstar in ICWW, which arguably was impossible to do considering they're all worthless. Heartbrand then explained that his first target would be the original ICWW joke, Lord Nomad who was the first ever ICWW heavyweight champion, and current National. Heartbrand promised to get elite on Nomad, when he was interrupted by Xio's theme music. Xio entered and told Heartbrand that he could get in line for Nomad, saying that he was back to kick Nomad's ass for saying he was in hiding after Dead Or Alive II. Heartbrand reminded Xio that he was the second ICWW champion, and was next on his list. The two stared each other down, before leaving.

The Eurasian champion made his way to the ring next to face the similarly named Rockey in a one on one match. The Eurasian champion proved too much for the rookie, finishing the match off quickly with a Rock Bottom.

Backstage; recent ICWW addition Superfly was enjoying some coffee when all of a sudden he was attacked by Marz out of nowhere! Marz said he knew about Superfly complaining about Team Extreme not defending the Tag Team titles since they won, and said he was going to beat Superfly's ass down right then and there on Civil Action. Superfly met Marz in the ring, and managed to overcome a brutal attack, scoring the pin after hitting a stunner.

Backstage Chris Benoit was psyching himself up in his locker room getting words of encouragement from the new ICWW heavyweight champion Banging. After being eliminated before his fight Benoit was ready to take his aggressions out on Jason Shamrock. It wasn't to be however, Jason Shamrock proving to be too good after leveling the Canadian Crippler with the Alternate F4. After the match Benoit attacked Shamrock with the crossface.

Lord Nomad made his way to the ring responding to Josh Heartbrand and Xio's comments from earlier in the show. He said even though he's never beaten Xio, and Heartbrand is a great wrestler he wasn't afraid of either of them. Nomad said he showed the world he could beat Shamrock in his own match, and he could beat either one of them. This prompted Xio to enter and charge to the ring ready to take the National champion on. The match was fast paced but Xio was dominant early on. Nomad paused to taunt, getting a huge response from the crowd but when Xio tried all he got was a can of boos. In the end not even crowd support was enough when Xio hit the stunner and covered. Josh Heartbrand raced down to the ring then, as both Xio and he laid in to the National champion, laughing the whole time.

The cameras were directed backstage to the ICWW parking lot revealing a woman lying in a giant puddle of milk. Albert Beefcake was frantically trying to revive the woman, but was relieved by paramedics who took her to hospital. The woman was PR assistant Hayley Nick, and Albert swore then and there to find who had done this to her. He began recording clues including the fact she was covered in her own milk, there was a urine stain near by behind one of the cars, and what appeared to be tufts of hair on her shirt. The incident clearly had Albert concerned.

Oozaru challenged Shawn Michaels for the hardcore championship next, a challenge which the cocky Michaels was more than happy to accept. The two battled hard Oozaru unleashing amazing force on his opponent, but it wasn't enough to keep the battler in Michaels down. After hitting an incredible three sweet chin music super kicks he managed to cover Oozaru. After the match Oozaru left the arena quickly, apparently disgusted with losing.

Abel Lucifer interrupted proceedings making his way to the ring with a microphone. He said that after Inferno when Michael tried to burn his face he realised that there wasn't as shred of decency in him. This prompted the ICWW owner to enter, telling his brother that he of all people shouldn't speak about decency. Michael then proceeded to accuse his brother of attacking Hayley Nick, just like he had another girl years ago. The two brawled as CA ended.

The Rock d. Rockey
Superfly d. Marz
Hardcore - Jason Shamrock d. Chris Benoit
No Holds Barred - Xio d. Lord Nomad
Hardcore [Hardcore] - Shawn Michaels [c] d. Oozaru

Albert was the first on the scene to assist Hayley Nick. He's sworn to tax his detective skills to figure out who did it.

ICWW: Inferno

October 27th - ICWW: Inferno
Brother, I knew I could lure you out because you've always hated me.
You've always hated my success, and you couldn't hide anymore.
Now that I have you I will cleanse and purify your soul with hellfire
so that you will know when our father died I became the lord of
darkness, and you were just another heathen. My power is now,
pray for your soul when you lay to sleep, because the reaper is coming.

Albert Beefcake d. William Regal
Albert Beefcake opened proceedings busting a move to take on William Regal in a one on one competition. Regal didn't look impressed as he went straight to work with an elbow to the face. Albert recovered quickly taking his British opponent down with a nice flapjack, and followed up with a powerful cocobutt. With Regal on the ropes, he revealed his brass knuckles, nailing Albert with the power of the punch and getting disqualified. Despite the loss he was satisfied.

Backstage Chris Benoit was stretching in his locker room talking to Banging. He said he was going to answer Shawn Michaels' open challenge for the hardcore championship. Banging wished him luck and left the room, then there was a knock on the door and Benoit was brutally attacked by someone that could not be seen clearly.

Eurasian championship match
The Rock d. Patrick Mannion (c)
Patrick Mannion put his newly won Eurasian championship on the line against The Rock who had been out of the ring for a little while was in good form. He took Mannion to town with a hard spinebuster and followed up with a nice samoan drop. With Mannion down it was time for the electrifying people's elbow, but Mannion managed to escape at the last minute! It wasn't enough in the end though, The Rock planted the champ with a Rock Bottom and got the cover to win. The Rock celebrated on the turnbuckle with the fans, holding his Eurasian championship high as Mannion congratulated him.

Hardcore championship match
Shawn Michaels (c) d. Silver Snake
Shawn Michaels made his way to the ring in an open challenge for his hardcore championship title. There was a silent pause when all of a sudden a familiar song played in the arena welcoming Silver Snake into the ICWW!!! He raced to the ring and attacked with a Lou Thesz press and followed quickly with an incredible spinebuster. Michaels retaliated with a DDT and took the opportunity to rummage under the ring, Silver Snake met him outside but got nailed with a shovel. He managed to hit a stunner, but Michaels took him down with a devil driver and a cocky pin.

Marz was interviewed next about Violent J and his absence. Marz said J would be back soon and everyone's wishes should be with the Tag Team/JCW champion. He said he was happy to have the night off, and would be kicking ass once more on ICWW: Civil Action, where he had a certain backstage target in mind.

Submission National championship match
Lord Nomad d. Jason Shamrock (c)
Things started with a lot of shoving, until Nomad was pushed into the ropes and took Shamrock down with a Lou Thesz press. Shamrock rolled with it though, hammering away at Nomad. Shamrock took his opponent down with a flapjack, but Nomad recovered locking up and then managing to clamp down a choke lift. Shamrock managed to slip out, but couldn't avoid a nasty short powerbomb. Nomad went for another choke lift, but Shamrock over powered him holding down the same move. Nomad grabbed the ropes and caught the National champ with a short chokeslam. Nomad clamped down the satanic 4, which was too much for Shamrock, eventually he was forced to tap out and give up his championship. Suddenly Chris Benoit's music started up as the new National champ prepared himself, but instead someone from the crowd raced into the ring and assaulted Nomad from behind with a chair - Josh Heartbrand!

Inferno Match
Michael Lucifer d. Abel Lucifer
The brothers stared at each other until Michael took his brother down hard with a clothesline. Abel struck back with a powerful heart punch, which stunned Mick long enough to drop him with a gut wrench powerbomb. Mick nailed his brother with a low blow, and dropped him with a huge death valley driver. Abel recovered well and slammed Mick with a jackhammer, trying to roll him into the fire. Mick escaped and grabbed Abel by the throat, but then Abel grabbed Mick's throat. Abel managed to out power his brother, dropping him with a chokeslam and then picked him up again to hit a devil driver when Mick reversed it into his own. He then sent Abel to the corner with a series of boxing rights and lefts, but Abel managed to backdrop Mick clear over the top and out of the ring. Unable to climb through the fire, Abel climbed the turnbuckle and dived with a flying clothesline, missing and getting planted into the announcers tables. Michael dragged his brother's body to the ring and forced his face into the fire. Abel frantically tore his burning mask off and ran to the back with Michael Lucifer laughing evilly in the ring.

After the Inferno match the cage was lowered while commentators Albert and Buddy spoke about the coming heavyweight title match, saying these two had met in hardcore title bouts with Oozaru coming on top, but never before had they or anyone else appeared in a cage match in ICWW.

Cage Heavyweight championship match
Banging d. Oozaru (c)
The competitors entered the ring, now surrounded by unforgiving steel mesh for the much anticipated heavyweight title match. Oozaru started off proceedings with a strong DDT and then went right to work, ramming Banging's head into the cage. Oozaru dropped Banging with a flapjack, which seemed to spawn some life as he hammered away with rights and lefts. Oozaru staggered trying to hit the flatliner, but instead Banging managed to reverse the move! Banging leveled Oozaru with an impressive powerbomb, and then in a humiliating show dropped him with his own finisher the Lag Buster! Oozaru was able to hit a furious Lag Buster of his own, producing blood from his battered opponent, but Banging was still the dominant party nailing his finisher the Kiwi Bomb and then climbed out of the cage to become the new heavyweight champion. Oozaru and Banging stared at each other through the mesh, when Chris Benoit appeared at the entrance way as Inferno came to an end.

ICWW: Aftershock (10/24/02)

ICWW: AFTERSHOCK                      OCTOBER 24, 2002

William Regal opened ICWW: Aftershock claiming that Albert Beefcake was an uncouth moron that had caused him great discomfort, breaking his nose after their previous encounter on the last Aftershock. He then declared that his power of the punch would take revenge, and prove that he was the greatest most skillful superstar in ICWW. Shawn Michaels appeared and said he could defeat William Regal without any problems at all. This prompted a match which resulted in William Regal winning with a Union Jack and a good strong pin. Regal took the microphone once more declaring that he had just proved to all that he was the greatest, Michaels swore that Regal got lucky and demanded Regal face him again, Hardcore title on the line. Regal excepted and Michaels proved too much, busting the former Eurasian champion's nose open and getting the pin fall to retain his hardcore championship.

Backstage Chris Benoit and Jason Shamrock found themselves in an encounter after Shamrock bragged his ankle lock submission was going to take care of Lord Nomad on the weekend, being that it was the best hold ever. Chris Benoit furiously declared the Crippler Crossface was the greatest submission in ICWW to date. The two face off in hardcore competition with not one submission being exchanged, instead the two attacked each other with furious anger in their moves. Eventually Shamrock came out on top after hitting the alternate F4.

In a hype match for the National match that would be seen on ICWW: Inferno, Lord Nomad took on Marz in a submission match. Marz although no Jason Shamrock proved he was a fair challenge for Lord Nomad utilising various submissions and giving him a lot of trouble. The Nomad found himself in a crossface hold but refused to tap out, instead passing out from the submission hold Marz refused to let go. At ICWW: Inferno not even passing out will save Lord Nomad from the pain Jason Shamrock has prepared to serve up to him.

In a reversing of the main events for ICWW: Inferno Michael Lucifer faced off against Banging. The two battled long and hard, but Michael Lucifer was too powerful for Banging this time. Michael Lucifer was able to exact more pain on Banging, who was at the bottom of his list after siding with his brother.

In the second reversed match Oozaru took on Abel Lucifer in Abel's first match. The heavyweight bound big monkey was pumped unleashing a fury like never before on Abel Lucifer. Oozaru again brandished a chair using it to plaster the Lucifer brother into next week much the same way he had to Benoit. Oozaru hit the Lag Buster and got the cover, which prompted Banging and Chris Benoit to run to the ring attacking Oozaru. Michael Lucifer raced to make the save, but with Abel recovered Mick and Oozaru were on the receiving end of the beat down this time, until Lord Nomad ran down to even the score. Suddenly Jason Shamrock raced to the ring as well attacking both Nomad and Chris Benoit. Aftershock went off the air with the war in-ring raging.

Hardcore match
Marz d. Acidic Wonder
Violent J's Team Extreme partner Marz was up next taking on one half of the Tag Team champions, Catch 22. Marz took his opponent down fast with a Lou Thesz press, and followed up with a neck breaker. The Wonder returned the favour with a spinning neck breaker as Marz took it to the turnbuckle, nailing the Tag champ head first. Acidic Wonder dropped Marz with his trademark Bassliner, but Marz revealed an electric tazer. Acidic Wonder managed to kick it out of the ring after a brief zapping, but was caught with a low blow. Marz hit his opponent with a stunner and finished the match with a five star frog splash and a cover. Dazed and stunned the two made it to their feet, shaking hands after the good match despite prospects of a Tag Team title match in the future.

The arena exploded as from behind the wall of fire emerged Mick Lucifer at the entrance way. He made his way to the ring with an evil grin and a microphone, he announced that the heavyweight title was in fact vacant and that Xio would not be showing his face in an ICWW ring because he didn't want people seeing him cry. Lucifer then declared that he was sick of people strutting around his ring declaring themselves this and that by default, he said enough was enough and it was time to bring in the natural selection to ICWW. He then declared that if anyone wanted a piece of this title they'd have to go through the worthy hard working contender he had chosen - himself! Suddenly Lord Nomad raced down to the ring looking irate, Mick warned the Nomad that if he even breathed on him he would be fired on the spot from the company. While Nomad stared Lucifer down, he was informed that he would indeed get a chance to be the other contender in a match that would determine a truly sound, worthy champion. He then prompted Banging, Chris Benoit and Oozaru to 'come on down'...

No Holds Barred Tag Team match
Oozaru & Chris Benoit d. Lord Nomad & Banging
Oozaru made his big return when he teamed with Chris Benoit against Lord Nomad and Banging in this challenge to fight for the rights to become the second number one contender for the heavyweight championship. The big monkey dropped his opponent with a Lou Thesz press only to get taken down by a truly dandy samoan drop from the killer Kiwi - Banging! Oozaru struck back with a nice heart punch, but Banging tagged the Nomad who charged in nailing his trademark 'Bible Black' move! Banging tossed Nomad a chair, and he nailed Oozaru but it wasn't enough to stop him, Chris Benoit made the blind tag and went on the offensive against the former champ. Nomad looked good dropping him with a high vertical suplex, and tagged in his partner. Banging went to work on his friend Chris Benoit without question slamming him with a crunching knee to the face. Nomad grabbed a bottle from someone in the crowd, and Banging smashed it right over Benoit's head! Nomad tagged back in only to get caught with a nice hard takedown and then a prompted Lag Buster from the Canadian crippler, who then got the pin.

Mick Lucifer congratulated Oozaru and Chris Benoit for working well together, but said now the real test was to come when they faced each other in the nights main event to become the second contender for the ICWW title. He declared that finally someone with wit and cerebral prowess would be the only one who could win. Oozaru and Chris Benoit eyed each other off as they each made their way to the back.

The ICWW CEO joined El Tripilacho and Buddy Luv at ringside for guest commentary. Chris Benoit went in fast with a nice heart punch knocking the big monkey down. Oozaru recovered reversing the numerous weapon attacks from the Canadian Crippler. Finally it was time, as Oozaru nailed Benoit with the Lag Buster! With Benoit down the returned superstar was able to tag the first turnbuckle, but heading for his second Benoit jerked him back with the strap. Oozaru gave Benoit a boot to keep him down, and managed to tag his second corner. Benoit recovered showing incredible strength with an Armageddon powerdriver, and then a hip toss flooring Oozaru for the first time in the night. Benoit managed to reach out and tag a turnbuckle. Oozaru attacked with a weapon, but Benoit managed to avoid it knocking Oozaru down with a trip, and tagging yet another corner. Oozaru struck back almost instantly tagging his third turnbuckle as fatigue began to set in. Just out of reach of the last turnbuckle Oozaru grabbed the cable from a near by camera and choked Benoit down, tagging the turnbuckle and becoming the number one contender from the heavyweight championship.

Mick Lucifer entered the ring from the announcers table, and declared Oozaru the winner by natural seleciton and raised his hand high into the air. Then with an evil smirk Lucifer turned to Oozaru and grabbed him in a death grip. From there Mick Lucifer nailed the other contender with a huge chokeslam, sending an evil laugh through the arena and telling the leveled Oozaru that what he had just received was revenge for DOAII, and that the real pain was yet to come as ICWW: Civil Action number one went off the air.

ICWW: Dead Or Alive II

October 5th - ICWW: Dead or Alive II
'I'm gonna keep this secret
I'm gonna close my body now
I'm gonna break the cycle
I'm gonna shake up the system
I'm gonna destroy my ego
I'm gonna avoid the cliché
I'm gonna suspend my sense
It's not my time to go.
Yes, I'll die another day'

Tag Team Championship match
Shawn Michaels & The Rock d. Acidic Wonder & Ironize (c) via DQ

Ironize started the action against heated rival Shawn Michaels with a nice neck breaker. Acidic Wonder tagged in early dropping Michaels with a single arm DDT. Shawn was on the ropes when the Wonder began taunting to the crowd! The Rock nailed Ironize with a flapjack after the two tagged in and while Acidic Wonder had the referee distracted Ironize retrieved a chair from outside and swung wildly at The Rock, The Rock drop kicked it straight back at Ironize! Ironize recovered and managed a shaky piledriver, but put himself down for the count. The Rock set up for the people's elbow, but just before he nailed it Ironize flung his leg up connecting with the Rock's jaw. The wonder ran in and nailed The Rock with a chair getting Catch 22 disqualified. Shawn Michaels left straight away having a tantrum about the  out come of the match while a dazed Catch 22 celebrated keeping the Tag Team championships. Hardcore Championship War
Shawn Michaels (c) VS Ironize VS Patrick Mannion

Shane Altmann presented backstage as Shawn Michaels, Ironize and Patrick Mannion prepared to compete in the first ever Hardcore War match. The superstars would fight, with the final pin being the hardcore champ. Michaels started off with a DDT on Mannion, straight to concrete. Ironize charged in quickly with a steel chair, wiping the champ into next week. Mannion reversed the chair into Ironize, and then kicked a shovel back into Shawn's face! Michaels recovered and dropped Mannion with a nice falcon arrow, and then took off his shirt and began strangling former champ Ironize. Mannion broke up the choke, and dropped Michaels straight onto the backstage concrete with a vertical suplex. Mannion then climbed atop a table and clocked Ironize in with a flying elbow. Ironize rolled the pin over to get a three count.

Submission Eurasian Championship match
William Regal d. Albert Beefcake (c)

The Eurasian champion arrived to a huge ovation as he strutted his stuff in the ring busting the Beefer Bus stop. Regal broke up celebrations as he raced into the ring and took the Beefer down with a press and hit him hard with right hands. Albert got to his feet raring loudly, only to have Regal German suplex him! The Alaskan Bear-Whale recovered and the two superstars found themselves rolling across the ring beating the taste out of each others mouths. Regal hammered Albert with a pump handle slam, and attempted to clamp down an abdominal stretch but Albert fought out, reversing it into another pump handle slam. The Beefcake maneuvered into an STF, but was close to the ropes Regal slipping out quickly. Regal managed to drop the Beefer down with a high impact move and clamped down the Regal Stretch. Albert struggled but managed to fight his way out of the move. Once back on his feet Regal revealed a pair of brass knuckles which he used to absolutely plaster the Eurasian champion with legally. He once again locked up the Regal Stretch and Albo tapped out. William Regal celebrated with his fans, taking the time to wave and thank the heavens for the power of the punch.

Hardcore Championship War
Ironize VS Shawn Michaels VS Patrick Mannion VS Violent J

No holds barred National championship match
Jason Shamrock d. Banging (c)

Banging made his way to the ring next to defend his National championship. Banging stared on blankly as Jason Shamrock made his way into the ring and went on the charge snapping Banging down with a neck breaker. Banging dropped Shamrock with a nice DDT, but when trying for another got put down with a Shamrock DDT. Shamrock followed the hardcore trend and nailed Banging with a steel chair but couldn't keep him down! The match spilled to the outside of the ring, Banging trying to gash Shamrock with a glass bottle! The challenger busted Banging open with another savage chair shot, but Banging managed to nail his opponent with a Devil Driver!!! It wasn't enough though, Shamrock coming to and hitting him with a stunner and a pin.

Backstage Albert Beefcake was half moping, half strutting when he came across ICWW superstar, Stat-Man. Stat-Man assured the Alaskan Bear-Whale that he had done well with three successful title match wins. The Beefer smiled and offered Stat-Man a loud "rar" as he strutted his way to the shower rooms. Stat-Man flew away.

Hardcore Championship War
Violent J d. Tony McTier, Shawn Michaels, Patrick Mannion and Ironize

We returned to the hardcore championship war for the third and final time in the night, awaiting a winner. A battered and bruised Ironize staggered away, obviously having had enough after both the Tag and War matches. Tony McTier who had apparently jumped in nailed Shawn Michaels with a knee to the stomach, and then Violent J took him down with a Lou Thesz press. Michaels took Violent J down with a hard flapjack shaking the violent clown to the core, when he tried to stand and hit Michaels with a chair shot he could do nothing but fall to the ground. Mannion capitalized send Michaels into a pile of equipment and clamping down a single legged crab on Violent J. J kicked out but stayed down while Mannion was distracted by the still official hardcore champion Shawn Michaels. Mannion caught him with a powerslam, and attempted a sleeper hold, only to find his move reversed. The referee checked Mannion and began his ten count, but Mannion found a second win after six. Tony McTier and Violent J found themselves a fair way from their opponent in amongst cables and sound equipment. McTier nailed Violent J with a stunner, but Violent J was able to come back with a nice psycho flip and a pin to become the new champ. After being awarded the belt Violent J hopped into a nearby VIP cart and sped away from the battle field, and broken bodies.

Backstage Lord Nomad was talking to an interviewer, he had this to say; "I am Lord Nomad, I've never beaten Xio before, but guess what? I've got nothing to lose here. My buddy Mick Lucifer is the referee, so what? Nomad can do the job himself!"

Special Referee Heavyweight Championship match
Xio (c) & Lord Nomad tied when referee stopped the match

Lord Nomad made his entrance first as the challenger jumped into the ring barely visible in the darkness of the arena. Xio made his explosive entrance next, strutting down to the ring with the ICWW heavyweight championship over his shoulder. Mick Lucifer made his big entrance making his way to the ring decked out in striped shirt and then eerily smiling at Xio and Nomad. The bell was sounded and Xio was the first to ignore Lucifer diving at Nomad with a Lou Thesz press. He followed up with a high impact spinebuster, but Nomad jumped right back up sending the champion into the ropes and then down to the mat with a flapjack. Xio quickly retrieved a chair and slid in while Mick Lucifer smiled on, Xio knocked Lord Nomad out of his shoes with a thunderous chair shot. Nomad got to his feet but was bashed over the head again with a chair, he tried to send Xio into the ropes but was rolled up into a pin. Lucifer dropped but only one and a half, Lord Nomad kicking out in no time. Xio soon executed his own version of the VanDaminator! Nomad recovered and attacked back with a chair, he sent Xio into the ropes with an irish whip and nailed the Mail Bomb!
Xio got to his feet quickly, apparently less affected by the move than Nomad. Xio dropped Nomad with a huge stunner, busting his lip open sending blood down his chin. Mick Lucifer smiled as he came between Nomad and Xio, and then wrapped his hand around Xio's neck. With Xio tired from the hard battle he couldn't fight it, Mick Lucifer dropping him out cold with a thunderous chokeslam!
Nomad staggered over to Mick Lucifer and the referee of darkness gave Nomad a hug, only to drop him with a huge belly to belly suplex!! Lucifer called for the bell and smiled as he stood dominant over the two warriors he'd just levelled. The time keeper brought Lucifer the belt and he snatched the microphone from the announcer and sent an evil laugh through the arena. At the ramp Lucifer held the title high and smiled toward the broken bodies of Xio and Nomad  when suddenly a huge hairy fist slammed Mick Lucifer from behind, provoking him to charge backstage as Dead or Alive went off the air.
